Xylella fastidiosa: Can science find a solution? - Duration: 8:21.
Puglia, Southern Italy.
In 2013 olive trees began to show unusual symptoms of decline
The spread of this disease was and seemed very unusual
something strange was going on
The ancient olive trees were dying
Xylella fastidiosa – a bacterium previously unreported in Europe – was the likely cause.
It was very alarming to find that this pathogen because
before 2013 it was never detected
outside the American continent except some finding in Taiwan.
Following the reports from Puglia
the European Commission asked EFSA to provide scientific and technical assistance.
EFSA identified the most urgent knowledge gaps to be filled in
and fund small scientific research projects to fill in these gaps.
The European Union has since provided funding for two larger research projects
called POnTE and XF-ACTORS
and scientists in Puglia are already making significant breakthroughs.
As different strains of the pathogen appear in other parts of Europe,
the threat to a huge variety of fruits and plants across the continent is very real.
The situation is quickly evolving, each month is a month less to react.
Here apparently we are in a symptomless plant, a symptomless tree.
But if we move on the canopy we will see there are very early symptoms;
no flowering yet, there is some delay.
Bordering to this another part of the canopy where there are already evident symptoms,
with some yellowing, some leaf scorching.
When we go here where we see complete desiccation of the twigs.
Xylella is the cause of the problem. Now, we have the evidence
The xylella bacterium grows in a plant's water carrying arteries, known as xylem.
The bacteria multiply and clog the arteries, starving the plant of water and nutrients.
Four key elements, known as the epidemiological triangle,
demonstrate how the bacterium is transmitted and causes disease.
Generally in plant pathology the disease
is defined as the interaction of the environment in which the plants grow:
the hosts – the plants; and the pathogen.
And in addition if the pathogen is transmitted by a vector there is also the interaction with the vector.
Firstly, it was essential to establish the full list of potential host plants,
as well as those plants not at risk, and which could still be traded.
An experimental field in Puglia became the primary source of this critical information.
This is the first experimental plot that was realised in 2015
with 10 olive varieties and different varieties of grape, citrus and stone fruit.
Because some interesting characters of resistance and tolerance were observed,
we expanded the evaluation of the olive grove, by planting additional 40 different cultivars or varieties.
This initial research demonstrated that while citrus and grape were so far unaffected,
olive plants were highly susceptible to the strain of xylella present in the area.
However, some olive varieties showed potential tolerance to the disease.
The fact that we already found some source of resistance is
very encouraging for us in order to continue the screening to look for this kind of things.
There are more than 1000 varieties known in the Mediterranean area so
we will complement this field research with the laboratory research,
to breed and to produce varieties that are resistant to xylella fastidiosa.
A commonly found insect emerged as the chief suspect in the transmission of the disease…
This one is one… here we have one more… we have one more here… so there is plenty of them.
Xylella spread exclusively by vectors.
The vector is philaenus spumarius; that is spittlebugs. Spittlebugs is probably the key pest for olives.
Adult spittlebugs feed on the xylem of olive plants.
After feeding on an infected plant, they can transmit the bacterium to other plants.
Field surveys have recorded up to half a million juvenile spittlebugs per hectare.
To control this vector means to arrest the spread of xylella fastidiosa
a detailed understanding of this endemic insect is therefore central to any containment strategy.
My first hope is to get good methodological approach.
We need good methods to score the number of individuals per square meter.
We need to know which part of the year is most critical for transmission.
Xylella is a genetically diverse pathogen.
Once the causal link between the bacterium and olive plant decline in the area had been established,
the researchers went on to identify the precise strain present in Italy
and to map the genome of this strain, named CoDiRo, or Olive Quick Decline Syndrome.
We're the first group to work with infected plant from the field.
So we have developed a specific protocol to detect the bacterium in olive trees, in order to identify the positive olive trees.
In addition we developed molecular tools that can identify the type of strain that is causing the epidemic in Apulia.
So far only one strain could be identified and sequenced.
Xylella very well know in the history of plant pathology
for the epidemic of Pierce Disease that begun in Los Angeles Bay more than one century ago.
Well, if we compare the climatic conditions of the Los Angeles Bay
with those of the Salento Peninsula where this epidemic originated
we found exactly the same climatic conditions. So the optimal condition
for the spread of xylella for the surviving and multiplication of xylella.
By studying the different parts of the triangle, scientists can identify the weakest links
and help to find control solutions that will assist olive growers to preserve their livelihoods.
With a climate of warm, mild winters suited to the spread of xylella,
the best hope for tackling the problem rests on the natural resistance already detected in the olive groves.
Researchers are also exploring other possible solutions, such as:
• releasing antagonist bacteria that compete with the xylella infection in the plants;
• grafting tolerant varieties on to ancient trees;
• and using pathogen confusion to reduce the ability of the bacteria to multiply.
We can see at the moment many institutions all around Europe are exchanging information
exchanging data there is an urgence and they have all the same interest to solve it.
For this complex problem solid solution can be found only by a serious scientific programme of research.
The combination of the different factors and their interaction is very very complex.
Research is the only way to help finding solutions and find the right way to react. And the fastest one.

Can Cuba preserve ecosystems while profiting from tourism? - Duration: 8:52.
JUDY WOODRUFF: While the Trump administration is imposing new restrictions on Americans
traveling to Cuba, the island nation is working to lure more tourism and economic development
by showcasing its environment and biodiversity.
The catch is that, if this ecotourism development goes too fast or too far, Cuba could jeopardize
the very species and environment that makes it so distinct.
Miles O'Brien reports from Cuba for our weekly segment the Leading Edge.
MILES O'BRIEN: This breeding facility for endangered Cuban crocodiles was a revolutionary
idea, in more ways than one.
Cuban President Fidel Castro ordered it built only three months after he seized power.
It may seem like an odd priority for a young communist revolutionary, but it offered an
early inkling that Castro would be an ardent lifelong environmentalist, able to dictate
terms of preservation.
Etiam Perez Fleitas is a researcher here.
ETIAM PEREZ FLEITAS, Researcher (through translator): Having nearly 4,500 animals in captivity helps
us to learn many things about the species that we can then use to manage them in the
wild.
MILES O'BRIEN: In addition to the scientific mission, it has also become a big magnet for
tourism, making it the picture postcard vision of how to save the nation's natural resources
while still attracting the sort of resources Cubans can take to the bank.
ETIAM PEREZ FLEITAS (through translator): The tourism dollars it generates go back into
funding the park rangers, the overall protection of the wild areas that surround us, and helping
us gain a greater understanding of the species.
MILES O'BRIEN: The idea that the ecology and the economy don't have to be at odds drew
researchers from Cuba, Europe and North America to this scientific conference in Havana this
summer.
Many of the exhibits and papers I saw as I walked through were trying to prove protection
of the environment is a profitable pursuit.
Luis Famada is director of Manglar Vivo, the Living Mangroves project.
LUIS DAVID ALMEIDA FAMADA, Manglar Vivo (through translator): We are collecting information
that helps translate the true cost of savings that can be found by preserving our natural
ecosystems, rather than developing them.
We are proving that mangroves work better than seawalls, and that is important information
that any future development project needs to understand.
MILES O'BRIEN: American Marine biologist David Guggenheim was here giving a talk.
DAVID GUGGENHEIM, Marine Biologist: And that's where you are trying to keep that money in
the community.
MILES O'BRIEN: He is the founder of Ocean Doctor, a D.C.-based nonprofit focused on
protecting Cuba's exquisite coral reefs.
DAVID GUGGENHEIM: At this point, there's a great deal of fear about the impacts of tourism.
But our message is that tourism has to be part of the solution, and the question is,
how do you do that sustainably?
MILES O'BRIEN: He and many others here believe the answer lies in Costa Rica.
WOMAN: I have come to Costa Rica to explore.
MILES O'BRIEN: A nation that set aside more than a quarter of its territory and made that
wild beauty its appeal.
It's where ecotourism was born, and still thrives.
But as Cuba opens up its economy and attempts to lure Western investment, there is a lot
of pressure to emulate another model: Cancun.
DAVID GUGGENHEIM: I think Cancun is an example of how not to do tourism sustainably in the
Caribbean.
So, you actually had a collapse of the local economy in Cancun.
And, in addition, the local reefs died as well.
Fortunately, so far, Cuba hasn't succumbed to that.
But the pressures on the economy are enormous, and tourism is the easiest place to get hard
cash right now.
MILES O'BRIEN: At the Bay of Pigs, I suited up in scuba gear to get a glimpse of Cuba's
legendary reefs.
It is a popular site for divers and snorkelers, just off an easily accessible beach along
a highway, and yet the coral is more vibrant and the fish more plentiful than I have seen
for a very long time in other parts of the Caribbean.
Guggenheim runs a project to protect an extraordinary reef off of Cuba's Isle of Youth.
It is brimming with elkhorn coral, which has vanished elsewhere in the Caribbean.
Again, Castro, the environmentalist, helped make this happen.
After meeting Jacques Cousteau in the 1980s, el presidente became an avid diver, and eventually
made 25 percent of Cuban coastal waters wildlife preserves, with fishing completely banned.
DAVID GUGGENHEIM: When you do that, it's important also to consider alternatives for the communities
that live adjacent to them.
And the idea of tourism is to give the community an economically sustainable future that also
provides an economic incentive for them to protect their environment.
If you're not helping people solve problems in their communities, the environment isn't
going to have a chance.
MILES O'BRIEN: Cuba's enviable undersea environment is not all about dictatorial whim.
It is also the silver lining to a very dark cloud, the economic devastation of the early
'90s, just after the Soviet Union collapsed.
The euphemism for these grim times?
The Special Period.
Cubans were cut off from their supply of fertilizers and pesticides.
That meant the country avoided chemical runoff from farming, a huge source of pollution and
a big contributor to coral reef bleaching.
The dearth of agricultural inputs has created another unintended consequence, special in
its own way.
MAGDIEL COLLASO GARCIA, Soil Technician (through translator): In the end, what they did was
like a favor, because we rediscovered natural ways of farming.
And that has preserved our natural environment.
MILES O'BRIEN: That's Magdiel Collaso Garcia, a worker at an organic farm-to-table restaurant
that caters to tourists in Vinales.
They serve up a delicious lunch, everything but the fish grown right here on the property.
MAGDIEL COLLASO GARCIA (through translator): Today, we are seen as pioneers, and a model
of how to do things right in the future, because when you apply techniques that come from nature,
you also create the perfect environment to stimulate ecotourism.
Our traditional way of doing things has grabbed a lot of attention.
MILES O'BRIEN: It's a lesson these high school students from New Jersey gobbled up.
Their tour leader was Stacie Freeman, a professor from Bethel University.
STACIE FREEMAN, Bethel University: I have been doing this for 11 years, nationally and
internally with my students, and I travel a lot personally, and this is magic.
This is unique.
MAN: You are going to put your hand inside a beehive.
MAN: OK.
MILES O'BRIEN: But she has been around enough to know unique is not guaranteed, and ecotourism
is not a panacea.
STACIE FREEMAN: Sometimes, even with ecotourism, you can do damage, you know?
And so I'm hopeful that the people that are making those decisions are being careful and
really thinking about the culture they have here, the heritage they have here.
MILES O'BRIEN: Across the valley, we found someone else trying to turn Cuba's natural
wonders into hard cash.
Rock climbing guide Raoul Casas is leading a pair of French tourists to the pristine
limestone cliffs of Vinales.
The sport is technically illegal here, but he says business is, well, looking up.
RAOUL CASAS, Rock Climbing Guide: The best rock is here, many walls, many caves, like,
overhung, full of stalactites, and that make it special, make it unique.
MILES O'BRIEN: European and American climbers have been beating a path in his direction.
Lana Smith is from Los Angeles.
LANA SMITH, Tourist: I have never seen anything like it.
There's, like, nobody there, barely any bolts.
Just the local people climb with ropes and stuff, and they have really limited climbing
gear.
But just the mountains are just, like, amazing, unlike anything I have ever seen.
MILES O'BRIEN: It all sounds like another Costa Rica in the making, but, of course,
human nature is often at odds with nature itself.
Plenty of evidence of that near the crocodile breeding facility.
In the gift shop, stuffed crocs are for sale, and, at the restaurant, crocodile meat is
on the menu.
Fast money is better than no money at all.
Will Cubans save what's so rare here?
Or will they love it to death?
In Cuba, I'm Miles O'Brien for the "PBS NewsHour."

Dog Heartbroken After Owner Dies.
Kind Delivery Woman Knows She Can't Just Leave Him
For many dogs, the UPS man or woman is seen as an intruder.
I know this from personal experience – the four livestock guardian dogs on my farm inform
us of impending deliveries long before I even see or hear the truck.
Like clockwork, that truck arrives about five minutes after the dogs start staring down
our rural country road, occasionally barking to inform me of the "intruder's" arrival.
To them, I imagine, the delivery man is seen as a threat – someone coming to our home,
leaving boxes, and rushing off.
Thankfully, our UPS driver takes it all in stride and I, of course, keep the dogs either
inside or in the livestock pasture.
But such a relationship is not the case for a caring UPS driver named Katie Newhouser
and a pit bull named Leo from Rancho Cucamonga, California.
"Leo would always start barking as I pulled into the condo complex," Newhouser said.
"He would always jump into my truck when I stopped."Sadly, Leo's owner, Tina, passed
away.
Newhouser learned of Tina's untimely death from a Facebook post.
When she saw the sad news, she knew she had to check on the wellbeing of her canine friend.
Newhouser contacted Tina's son, Cannon, who had gotten Leo for his mom when he was
a puppy.
Cannon is a Marine and could not keep the dog, so Newhouser immediately stepped in and
offered to foster Leo.
It wasn't long before the bond between Newhouser and Leo grew even stronger and she decided
she wanted to add him to her family, which already included three other dogs.
Describing the new addition to her existing dog family, Newhouser explained, "It was
probably confusing for [Leo] at first.
He has adapted well.
He and his brother Moose are inseparable.
Bailey, his sister, has taken a while to come around.
They actually play now.
Once Leo was introduced to the house, the whole vibe changed."
"He loves going for rides," she continued, "he loves the water, he loves playing with
his chew toys, he loves tormenting his two feline sisters, he loves laying in the sun,
he has no concept of personal space.
He likes to be on us or right beside us!
He is a character."
What started out as a tragic situation turned out "happily ever after" for Leo thanks
to this caring UPS driver.
Newhouser and Leo quickly formed an even tighter bond once he came to live with her, a bond
that will not be broken.
"He has so much personality, you would think that he is human!"
Newhouser proudly proclaimed.
"He is the sweetest most lovable dog that you will ever meet."
Were you touched by what this UPS driver did for this orphaned dog?
So share this!

Sagittarius Men in Relationships — Can a Sagittarius Man Settle Down??? - Duration: 5:27.
can Sagittarius men settled down and focus on one person? because what I've
noticed about Sagittarius men is they tend to be all over the place. they may
entertain, for a lack of better words, several people at the same time, several
partners. and I also find Sagittarius men tend to have a diva complex. sometimes
they can be players, right? Sagittarius. their opposite Sign is...Gemini.
so I feel they're bit detached all the time, even when they settle down.
when I watch like when I observe I should say Sagittarius men that are
married you don't feel that they're married when you meet them like they may
not be the person who's gonna talk about their partner right away when they meet
you right like there's this independence about them like they're alone even when
they're married even when they have kids they can be funny Sledge attachment can
be really funny really great sense of humor but they have a free-spirited
attitude there's just like rebellious and it's almost like they have this
nomadic attitude that just constantly they're moving they're going places like
like it's hard for them to settle down they may love traveling going all over
the world so even when they do settle down when they do get married when they
do have kids they need a partner that is okay with our detachment because I'm son
love on some level they're gonna be a bit detached right they're gonna be like
a free spirit they want to do their own thing like I find Sagittarius men that
do get married they still want to pursue their artistic hobbies they still want
to travel they still want to they're like they still want to you know they
don't lose themselves right they're not like well now I'm married and I need to
focus on my partner and kids no such Oteri's men are just like well I am
married but I'm still a person and I need to travel and I need to I still
want to be an actor I still want to I still want to be musician so there's
this sense of like detachment from from home from the ideas
of stick sticking with one person or something like that not not that they
can't they can they can be good husbands good partners they can settle down with
one person they can be devoted and everything but I'm saying on a spiritual
like on some level the Sagittarius man is detached um is never gonna be fully
like glued to you you know they're not gonna be okay with a boring life with
the mundane life they want they want to spice up their life they want to travel
there when I'm they want colors and interesting things happening in their
life constant movement so if you think that he's gonna just settle down and
give up his sort of player attitude hmm you know I don't know I think that
they're they're always gonna want to have fun there was gonna want to go out
and party so they need a partner who sort of understands if you were your
partner to sachit areas man and you don't want to go party you have to
understand that he has a need to go party he has a need to go out and have
fun and be independent and make other people laugh and so you can't expect
like if you constantly need emotionally and you just need him to be home and do
home chores and things like that I don't know this guy's just he wants to pursue
his goals he wants to do his thing and wants to he still maintains his
individual individuality and individual goals and stuff separate from you right
he's like whoa that's you this is me this is what I want to do so I think
that's how such Oteri's men tend to be of course not every not all Sagittarius
men are the same they're very different people but if they have Sun in
Sagittarius there's a sense of like wanting to have fun and be free and be
creative and travel and being individual and expressive
stick so they're not gonna usually give that up that easily and just forget it
so that's my take on Sagittarius men and settling down and having sort of a
traditional stable mundane lives you know married and partnerships so they
can be really fun partners if that's what you like if you like comedy
interesting things traveling adventures this this guy will keep you on your toes
will always keep everything spicy and interesting and flavorful but if you
expecting him to just give or give up all these dreams all these music all
these art and just settle down and forget it I don't know may not be what
his plans are so thank you for watching video thank you for watching this video
if you have anything to say please share your thoughts and I hope to see in my
next video bye bye

How to make lantern can - Hướng dẫn làm lồng đèn bằng lon sữa bò - Duration: 6:06.
How to make Lantern can
Every Mid-Autumn Festival,
when the streets are filled with colourful lanterns,
I heard someone saying that the children nowadays are so happy
because all kinds of toy are available to them.
I recalled my childhood when we had to make the toys ourselves.
The canned lantern was the most special to me,
creating it is simple but brought a lot of fun in each Mid-Autumn season.
In the past few years,
besides getting lanterns from the toy stores,
my daughter and I also made a few canned lanterns to play with the neighbors.
2 tubes or 4 tubes,
the most interesting thing was that the kids loved this toy,
they were in love with the tinkling sound and the mysterious light of the twisted lantern.
Today, I will show you how to make a canned lantern
for your kids in this year's mid-autumn season.
The materials are simple,
just two cow milk cans,
a 50 - 60 centimeter zinc bar, and a 1 meter stick.
Cut two holes in between two ends of the first can,
and pass the zinc through,
create a deviated U shape out of the zinc bar to hold the first can.
For the second can, remove one bottom,
the other one could be perforated as you like,
you could create beautiful patterns.
After creating the patterns,
cut two holes in the middle of the body of the can.
Then place the short part of the U shape
and bend the zinc bar to hold the second can
and cut off the excess zinc.
Use tape or elastic band
to hold the remaining zinc with the prepared stick.
You should decorate this part to appeal the kids.
So there you have a completed canned lantern.
It is so simple right?
Now just wait until dark and light up the candles and play!
A unique feature of this lantern is that when pushed on the road,
the first can will be the wheel.
The second can lean on the first one,
the friction will cause the second can to spin like a flashing light,
and also the sparkling light of the candles.
If you want to make it tinkle,
make a small holder to attach the twisted elastic band in the middle,
lie on the bottom of the cans above.
When rotating, it will create a fun tinkling sound.
You could make another 2 cans
and tie them to the opposite side,
which would make 4 cans with 2 cans rotating on the top.
I'm sure that your kid will have a fun
and unforgettable night playing a seld-made lantern with her father's help.
Hope you guys have a wonderful mid-autumn night.
If it is great. Please click subscribe, like or comment

Can Washington Redskins upset the Minnesota Vikings and win week 10 NFL in Washington 2017-2018 - Duration: 10:54.
Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins National football league week 10 of NFL picks and predictions 2017-2018
what's up everybody whew it is the MN Beast
that's right and we got some football to talk about we have some Sunday football
the Minnesota Vikings going in to play the Washington Redskins my team
the Vikings going in to play the Washington Redskins so I got a quick
question for you what team do you think is the favorite realistically and who do
you think really is gonna win this game let me know your comments below also let
me know if you like it when I do these breakdowns when I do the over unders
like this my against the spreads like this so you can get a little scientific
mathematics way of looking at it all right so we're gonna get right into this
because I really do not like to make videos when it comes to my boys my
Vikings because I would rather say yes they're gonna go on to Washington
they're gonna win 38-14 maybe 17 and game over Minnesota goes home victory
dance but I gotta be realistic and I gotta give the real breakdown all right
my Minnesota Vikings right now your today are 6-2 for win record on the
road they're 2-1 because Sam Bradford got injured and they lost
against Pittsburgh Steelers 9-26 then they rebound on a road game they
wouldn't play the Chicago Bears at the berry and Chicago Bears were coming back
and what ended up happening still the Minnesota Vikings did overcome and win
22-17 all right then they went into Cleveland
right and played the Cleveland Browns and they won hands down 33-16 all right
now they have a 4 win streak all right they've won the last four games in a row
so there's win streak is four wins if you
and of all what the Vikings have scored in those three games they scored 62
points they've given their opponents allow their opponents to score a total
of 59 points on them all right so I do the math I divide it by three
and I equal it on their three game average they average let's just say 20
point 66 so let's just make that 21 and they get of nineteen point 66 so they
they give their opponents basically 20 points 21-20 so on the road they are
very close games all right even though you might look at 33-16 and 9-26 but
realistically by the numbers close games all right now the Washington Redskins
are 4-4 here today right a home they have played 4 games at home
there 2-2 they have one game so far as his win streak all right
now they lost against the Philadelphia Eagles at home imagine that Philadelphia
Eagles are really good team this year Philadelphia goes they played 32-17 loss
they play the Oakland Raiders they won at home against the Oakland Raiders 10 -
twice 7 then they went in and San Francisco 49ers came and played them
they won by two points 24 -26 very very close game Dallas Cowboys came into
Washington and it wasn't as close it was sort of like the Cleveland Browns game
33-19 they lost now I did the same as I did over there and I added up what
Washington gives their opponents to let them score on them
they give up their opponents an average out of those four games on average
but total 97 points they scored a 12-89 points I did the math I divide it by 4
and I'm not going to go into the place but you can see 24 point 25-22 points 25
so their opponents score an average of 24 points on them and they score and
ours 22 points all right well if you looked at that you'd say all right I'm
going to sort of my kind are gonna win if you go by that now we wanna first
before we even make that decision we have a 42 and a half over under under
over those lines spread all right that's what we want to know what should we take
should we take the under or should we take the over 42 and a half so I take
both of these numbers and I add them up right so just like this here's an arrow
going over to the 46 and a half that's Washington's and here's the Vikings they
add up is 40 and 40 point 32 so I take those two numbers I add those I equal it
I come up with 86 point 82 I divide that by 2 I come up with 40 3.41 now look at
that forty three point four one right Wow
just say that's forty three and a half 42 and a half one point difference very
close right imagine that so weird involved by doing that let's take the
over right and that's risky because we're talking one point we're gonna go
over we're gonna make that 43 and a half all right so if the line does change and
the over and unders go up let's just say it's 44 well then you know you're
probably gonna want to go under 44 if it stays the same your safe is around that
43 43 and a half either way under her over all right so that's where I'm going
on this I'm taking the 43 so I'm going to take
the 42 and a half of course right now success what it does I'm gonna go over
that easily now we want to know should we take the minus six and we knock the
minus six I'm saying sorry the bank goons have a minus one -1 on them
right right here I guess spread lines the Vikings are favored in this game by
minus one and the Redskins are of underdog at plus one all right well how
do we figure that out and how do we take a guess on that all right I take one
Minnesota's average they score right 20-point 66 I take what Washington gives
their opponents on average which is the 20 start at 20 4.25 right I take that
and of course I subtract the higher number to the lower number and Minnesota
gets that three point five nine okay so you can say it's R and a half then I do
the same thing with Washington I take what Washington averages is score which
is twenty two point twenty five and then what Minnesota Vikings allow their
opponents to score which is nineteen point sixty six I subtract those and I
come up with two and a half or you could say two point five nine now I know it's
at the Redskins so I give them my home field advantage
because it they are a home fill crowd I give them three points I add those two
together I come up with let's just say five and a half right so I bring down
the three and a half from the Vikings I carry it over to here I subtract those
two numbers and now we have a two-point line all right so you could say that
this game should be more or less Redskins favor let's do this Washington
- - okay now I am saying Washington - - but all the lines are saying no don't
take Washington - - so I would take that as a plus
that Washington is going to win this game
now you might be like well there's only at one point on this now this is the
flip side of that coin let's say we were going to take away that home-field
advantage right take that two and a half - that three now what do you come up
with that's right or I'm sorry - so now Minnesota Vikings are favored Wow pretty
close huh so this is really a very close game and
I think it is a trap game when I do that so I am gonna say Washington Redskins
win this game we're going to take over the 42 and a half I'm going to take
right now of course the plus one you want to give me one point on this game
whatever give me one point on this game but you
wanna know my insight little philosophy on this before I let you all go up every
time I pick against my Vikings when it comes to these two my Minnesota if I say
the Washington Redskins are gonna win my Vikings win if I say the Vikings are
gonna win the Washington Redskins win so take it as it is I'm taking why should
Redskins this week hoping my beckons win I'm taking the over 42 and a half and
I'm gonna take the plus one have yourselves a great day thank you for
watching and let me know in the comments below who you really think is gonna win
this game this daddy let me know in your comments below if you like how I do my
NFL breakdowns when I talk about against spreads over unders the vagus lines and

Russian boy who claims he can remember previous life on Mars - Duration: 3:39.
A Russian boy claims that he lived on Mars before he was reborn on Earth.
Boriska Kipriyanovich, of Volgograd, Russia, further claims that he, along with "others"
has been sent to Earth to save the mankind from an apocalyptic.
His date of birth is January 11, 1996.
The first word "baba" he said at 4 months and since then, you can say, he started talking.
He made his first sentence in 7 months, these were the words "I want carnations".
When he was just one and a half, he was able to read, draw and paint and also possesses
an incredible memory.
At the same time, Boriska said that he used to live on Mars, that the planet is inhabited,
but survived the largest catastrophe in his history, lost the atmosphere, and now its
few inhabitants live in underground cities.
At that time, he often flew to Earth for scientific research purposes.
It seems that he himself controlled the spacecraft.
The boy has deep knowledge of space and its dimensions.
He is also aware of the structure of interplanetary UFOs.
He talks about that like an expert, draws UFOs on slates and explains the way they work.
Here is one of his stories: "It has six layers.
The upper layer of solid metal accounts for 25 percent, the second layer of rubber – 30
percent, the third layer of metal – 30 percent, and the last layer with magnetic properties
– 4 percent.
If we give energy to the magnetic layer, spaceships will be able to fly across the Universe."
Well, what child will come to mind that the spacecraft carrier will be in the form of
a "drop" - not at all like in movies or games.
It was during the time of the Lemurians civilization.
One day, at the age of five, he struck his parents by telling stories about Proserpine,
a planet that died hundreds of thousands, and maybe even millions of years ago.
And this word "Proserpine" was told to them, and not heard somewhere, because the parents
themselves almost for the first time heard from him about such a planet.
"It was cut by a ray, and it broke up into pieces," said Boriska, "physically the planet
ceased to exist, but its inhabitants teleported to the fifth dimension, which you call a parallel
world."We observed the death of the planet from Mars", he explained.
And then he said incredible
Speaking about the great Martian apocalyptic he said: 'No, I have no fear of death, for
we live eternally.
There was a catastrophe on Mars where I lived.
'People like us still live there.
There was a war between them.
Everything burnt down.
Only some of them survived.
They built shelters and created new weapons.'
He added that they grow to about 7ft tall, can breathe carbon dioxide and still live
on Mars but are now underground.
It is also reported that he said Martians so technologically advanced that they could
carry out interstellar travel.

Healing Through Spiritual Song - Religious Songs Can Help Cancer Patients Heal - Duration: 4:30.
[Singing]
I grew up in a little Baptist Church called Mills Chapel Baptist Church and
it was right beside the house that I grew up in, so I tell everybody, every
time the church doors opened, I was there because there was nothing else to do
but go to church.
Dr. Jill Hamilton has come a long way as a nursing professor and researcher,
but her heart has never strayed far from Black Mountain, North Carolina,
where the grandmother who raised her with church and song championed her ambition to go to college.
"My grandmother used to always say to me,
'I couldn't go, but you gonna go.' She'd always brag on me, and you know she was
always encouraging, and so I think what motivates me now to really do what I do,
do the research that I ] do, do the nursing care that I do for the population is
because I used to always say, 'I want to do something to give back to people like my grandmama.'
So my passion even today is with the care of older and African Americans.
Because when I give back to them, I'm giving back to my grandmama."
Hamilton's most recent study intends to demonstrate that positive health
outcomes for African Americans with serious diseases like cancer can be
buoyed by religious comforts like favorite songs or Bible verses.
"When a patient first comes in, part of the assessment should be, 'Do you have a song
or Bible verse that you use when you are stressed, when you're worried, when you're
nervous, when you're anxious?' and we should document that in the chart."
Hamilton has amassed a database of several dozen, recordings showing people
reciting a prayer, Bible verse, or singing a song of comfort. She plans on sharing
the scenes with willing patients as part of a forthcoming study that will try and
find out to what degree this type of spiritual therapy can aid the healing process.
But when Hamilton began her work conventional wisdom was not on her side.
"They said, 'What else was published?' and I would say, 'Well, we're gonna change that!'
But at the time this was like in 1997, when I first started doing my
dissertation research, and it was absolutely forbidden just to talk about
God in healthcare. I was told, 'No, you can't do that,' but I kept doing it anyway
because that's what people that was what was important to the population.
We think of social support coming from a spouse, from a friend, from a family member,
and yes, African Americans have that also, but
for African Americans, and I'm sure for other racial ethnic groups as well,
but particularly for older African Americans, they have come to rely on God as a
source of support, and you can't ignore that, you can't separate it, because
God is as real in their network of support as any other close relative that we can actually see."
Cory Woodyatt is a student of Hamilton's who got the notion to try out her approach
during one of his clinical rotations. "The ER was busy. There was a lot of people,
there was a long line up for folks to get in and we received a new patient
who came into the main ED with his wife."
The patient was impaired and agitated, and so it was difficult for the medical staff to help him.
"He was getting a lot more anxious and he was shaking and he was trying to
get out of the bed, and he was getting more confused, so I pulled out my cell
phone and I put on 'Amazing Grace.' The moment that the song came on he calmed right down."
"Perceptions have changed about spirituality and now we realize
that is a very important part of health care.

Sia Leaks Intimate Photo On Twitter Before Paparazzi Can Sell It - Duration: 3:01.
What is good trendy fabulous sexy friends.
This is IO trends, where we talk about whats trending.
My name is charlotte and that's llama the drama correspondent.
We've got some huge topics to talk about today so lets just jump right in shall we.
Our top story today is about singer songwriter SIA winning the internet.
So here's the deal, Some jerkface paparazzi tried to sell nude photographs of her.
One photo specifically shows a picture of her naked from the back.
The photographer apparently took this photo at a close distance without permission.
I will say, damn sia you thick doe right llama.
So, sia, being the queen she is, decided to take everybody by surprise and tweet the photo
with the caption, someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans.
Save your money.
Here it is for free.
What a legend.
How cool would it be if every celelbrity responded to nude photo leaks this way?
This is is especially amazing for sia who is notoriously private.
I mean…she wears wigs to cover her face.
Sias tweet at this time has gone viral, and has garnered over half a million likes at
the time this video was filmed.
Most of the comments are fans praising her for her body and bravery.
What do you think about all this llama?
Llama: Where are your nudes?
Moving right along now, Kylie Jenner fans are accusing her of not being really pregnant
because they spotted tampons in a photo she shared on snapchat.
The photo shows a haul of junk food that she and a group of friends planned on eating during
a girls night.
Kylie is reported to be expecting her first child in early 2018, and the father is said
to be travis scott.
The rumors have not been confirmed because they are trying to keep the news under raps
so that everyone watches the new season of keeping up with the kardashians.
What do you think llama?
Is she really pregnant?
Llama: Probably.
Yeah, I think so too.
I would like to remind everyone that it is totally possible for the tampons to be for
someone else.
Judging by the junk food haul, someone in that group of friends definitely has their
period.
Amirite?
Lastly for today, You can now finally type 280 characters on twitter, rather than the
140 we are all so accustomed with.
Finally I can actually write an entire thought in one tweet, rather than splitting it up
into three.
Responses to the change have been somewhat mixed.
Yes, it'll be nice to not have to edit my tweets to make them shorter, but at the same
time, now you gotta read a ton of tweets that are close to 280 characters long.
The great thing about twitter was that tweets were short and sweet.
Now dumb tweets are going to be twice as long and waste twice the amount of your time.
Fran Bo – Llama should have his own emoji . That's what I'm talkin about.
Chloe Huff – You guys are back – Yes we are, starting next week we will only be posting
videos 3 times a week.
