Liverpool's attacking options can make the Reds hot this winter

Liverpool are close to having all of their key attacking players available again, and it could make for a formidable run as Christmas approaches.

It has been a hit-and-miss late-summer and autumn for the Reds, who find themselves fifth in the Premier League with 19 points from 11 matches.

Two wins and two draws in the Champions League has seen them top the group, but League Cup commitments are already over, following defeat at Leicester City.

Jurgen Klopp's side are yet to hit the attacking heights of this stage last season, when Liverpool were top of the league and had scored 30 times, but there have been mitigating circumstances surrounding that.

All of the Reds' most prominent attacking stars were available and flourishing back then, whereas constant injuries have seen Klopp having to make do with lesser, albeit still talented, individuals.

For the first time in 2017/18, however, Liverpool are on the verge of having a fully fit attack, just as a relentless run of fixtures arrives.

They are capable of wreaking havoc against any opponent, as the Reds look to keep their pre-international break momentum in tact.

Despite it being mid-November, Liverpool have eight Premier League games to overcome before Christmas Day. There is also the small matter of a trip to Sevilla and a home clash with Spartak Moscow in Europe.

From when Southampton come to Anfield on November 18, it will be 10 matches in the space of just 35 days, and Klopp's squad will be tested to the limit.

Everybody knows about the defensive issues within the team, and while there is almost a painful predictability about them being a weak link in the coming weeks, the returning attackers can help eradicate the problem, to an extent.

Liverpool showed against West Ham last Saturday how potent they can be with the first-choice front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all playing. They have a perfect balance, with the wide duo's pace and movement nicely complimented by Firmino's guile.

Mane's return from injury is so important—let's hope the international curse doesn't strike again in the next week.

Philippe Coutinho has managed just nine appearances this season, with a back injury—or 'back injury', depending on how cynical you are—keeping him out of action far more than we would like.

His return to the side should come against Southampton, though, and the creativity and goal threat he brings from a deeper midfield role transforms a slightly one-dimensional area of Liverpool's play.

Liverpool's 10 matches before Christmas. Southampton (H) – November 18 Sevilla (A) – November 21 Chelsea (H) – November 25 Stoke (A) – November 29 Brighton (A) – December 2 Spartak Moscow (H) – December 6 Everton (H) – December 10 West Brom (H) – December 13 Bournemouth (A) – December 17 Arsenal (A) – December 22.

Adam Lallana's influence has been underrated when he is fit, but a prolonged spell on the sidelines with a thigh problem has enhanced his reputation.

The Reds look a more well-oiled, energetic machine with the 29-year-old involved, and his leading of the press, intelligence and bite are what make him one of Klopp's favourite players.

He will never receive as much praise as some of those around him, but his return will make a big difference.

The Saints game is likely to come too soon for a starting role, but hopefully, we will see him in the squad.

That aforementioned quintet are a fantastic set of footballers who Liverpool have still yet to get on the pitch together—the foursome of Lallana, Coutinho, Mane and Firmino have started just five matches together in 2017, due to injuries.

Playing them all may be ultra-attacking, and not sensible in certain matches, but there is no reason why they cannot thrive alongside one another.

Although the dream scenario is to see them all featuring prominently up until the festive period, niggling fitness problems are likely to arise, especially given the back-to-back nature of the games. This is where depth comes into play.

Liverpool haven't possessed such quality in midfield and attack since Gerard Houllier's treble-winning side of 2000/01, when the Frenchman could make changes at will and still get results.

Jordan Henderson, Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum are all regulars who will feel they merit their place in the team, despite none being perfect, and it can only be healthy to see them worrying about sitting on the bench.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a versatile option who looks to be going from strength to strength after a slow start, and Marko Grujic is becoming the Reds' forgotten man.

Up front, both Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke will be desperate for a chance, and with Klopp keen to keep players fresh, that should happen between now and Christmas.

We haven't even mentioned Ben Woodburn, who is not far away from being a regular first-team squad member, and Danny Ings is also an emergency option.

When Liverpool click in the final third they are as good as anyone in the country, Man City included, and having everyone back is a major plus point at a huge point in the campaign.

Season-Defining?.

After the 4-1 defeat at Tottenham last month, there was a feeling of utter dejection throughout the club, but three wins on the spin have stabilised a season threatening to peter out.

A title charge looks out of the question, considering City's march to the top of the league, but only two points separate second and fifth place.

This run that the Premier League clubs are about to embark on will be the ultimate test of fitness, depth and mental strength, and Liverpool cannot afford to fall short.

Their start to 2017/18 has been lukewarm, at best, but now we must see wins strung together and tricky fixtures hurdled.

Injuries have a huge say during any season, with Chelsea and Leicester City both profiting greatly from a settled team over the last two years, and the Reds will hopefully be afforded that luxury, after some rotten luck.

We all know that the defence is going to have moments of horror from time to time, due to negligence in the summer transfer window, but with Lallana, Coutinho, Salah, Mane and Firmino all fit, the goals will flow.

There are quality squad players to come into the team, too, in order to avoid winter burnout—only City have such options in the attacking third.

Come Christmas Day, things will look a lot brighter at Anfield, assuming important individuals aren't continually struck down.

Transfer News LIVE: Liverpool's Can to Man City; Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal latest

Transfer News LIVE updates: Gossip, deals and rumours throughout the day and night. Sunday November 12 10:00am: Juventus star Paulo Dybala has reportedly been offered to Manchester City.

The Argentine has scored 13 goals in 17 games this season and was linked with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid during the summer.

But according to Don Balon, the 23-year-old is desperate to work under City boss Pep Guardiola and could be set to move to the Etihad.

9:15am: Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud insists he has no regrets over his decision to stay at the club. For the moment I am not questioning myself about my future, he said.

I am happy at Arsenal and I am fine with the decision to stay because I want to. I am thinking that the story between the club and myself is not over and not finished.

I keep believing in my quality and I keep the faith. I have a lot of objectives with Arsenal and my country so I always try to move forward and keep scoring..

8:30am: Liverpool are worried they will lose Emre Can to Manchester City next year – for nothing. And that view is also held by Italian champions Juventus, who are interested in Liverpool's Germany midfielder as well.

Sources in Italy say Juve feel they will lose out to City when Can, 23, becomes a free agent in the summer.

Can, who cost the Anfield club £10m from Bayer Leverkusen three years ago, is in the last year of his contract and there is no sign of a new deal being agreed.

8:00am: Manchester United face a fight to keep their most promising young player – Angel Gomes. The midfielder, a member of England's Under-17s World Cup-winning squad, has still not signed the pro contract he was offered two months ago.

And Gomes, 17 is being eyed by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus. The starlet made his first-team debut last season aged 16 and 263 days making him United's youngest player since the great Duncan Edwards 64 years ago.

United are concerned Gomes could leave at the end of the season, meaning they would have to settle for compensation.

7 Reasons INFJs Can't Let Go After Heartbreak - Duration: 5:08.

7 Reasons INFJs Can't Let Go After Heartbreak

Heartbreak is one of the most painful emotions anyone will ever face.

But INFJ heartbreak is something far worse.

A huge majority of INFJs are highly sensitive and empaths.

When an INFJ goes through heartbreak, we feel as if somebody took our heart out of our chest,

and blocked our mind from all thinking.

We silently go through immense hurt and don't know how to let go.

We experience something that I call…

The quiet pain of INFJ heartbreak

INFJs don't play the victim role.

Even when we are heartbroken, rarely will you see us show it in public.

Before you realize it, maybe you won't notice when INFJ have to go to work heartbroken and

constantly on the verge of tears.

Simply because they never allow for anyone to see their tears.

INFJ heartbreak is an emotion so painful, when our heart is broken into pieces, no words

of comfort can ease how we feel.

We hold that pain inside, quietly hoping that no one will notice it.

But we can only hold on for so long.

The aftermath of INFJ heartbreak is that we don't know how to let go.

Let me remind you, we are protectors, guardians, and counselors.

So letting go is an unknown word in our dictionary.

Here are seven reasons why INFJs can't let go after heartbreak.

1.

We overthink, but also over-love.

When an INFJ loves someone, this is such a deep bond that it is almost unbreakable.

When it ends, it's a world unknown for INFJs, because we have given it everything we got.

We then start asking ourselves: "How could this happen, now what to do after this?"

2.

We believe it's our fault this happened.

The inevitable guilt comes as a result of the belief that we should have done more to

prevent the INFJ heartbreak.

Don't forget, we are our own worst critics, and nowhere is this more expressed than when

an INFJ has to let go after heartbreak.

3.

We should have done more.

Next comes pressure and self-sabotage.

INFJs struggle to let go, because there's this obnoxious feeling that we subconsciously

sabotaged the relationship, and haven't done enough.

We start doubting that we'll ever find someone who will accept us.

We don't want to let go, because in our mind, we should have done more.

4.

We believe we can still fix this.

Even after the relationship is over, an INFJ will still analyze what happened and try to

bring thing back to the way they used to be.

Deep inside, we know it's over, but our heart refuses to accept it.

This makes it much more difficult to let go.

5.

We think no one will ever accept us again.

The greatest fear of an INFJ is loneliness.

INFJs will even go against everything we believe in to escape it.

Letting go after an INFJ heartbreak is like a volcano eruption.

First comes a warning shockwave, and then a lava of emotions that no INFJ ever wants

to feel.

6.

We thought he or she was our soul mate.

If an INFJ believes they found their soul mate, this makes letting go all the more problematic.

We are used to being misunderstood, so if a person who understands us enters our life,

and then leaves it, it's like everything that we ever wanted is gone.

In this case, letting go is like an impossible mission for an INFJ.

7.

We fear the future.

Imagine that you were with someone who meant the world to you, someone with whom you planned

a bright future.

But now that person has left, and you have no idea what to do next.

For an INFJ, letting someone go feels like a part of our soul has been taken, causing

the future to become blurry.

We know all too well how much heartbreak hurts.

But sometimes, the only thing that we can do is let go.

You are not surrendering, and you're not giving up on yourself.

You are moving on, because you need to take care of yourself too.

Letting go is a sign of strength

Every single person who breaks your heart is a lesson that you had to learn.

Some lessons will just be bullets in your book of life.

Some will be the title of a chapter.

One day, you'll meet the one who will give your book the main headline.

Give yourself the permission to grieve and cry.

Allow your soul time to heal from INFJ heartbreak.

Life will never close one door to you without opening another, better one.

Open those doors and embrace a new, shinning beginning, because happiness is your birthright.

How do you deal with INFJ heartbreak?

How much time do you need to heal?

We were able to film

Joe Gomez makes England debut and Emre Can features for Germany in Wembley stalemate - Duration: 1:49.

Joe Gomez makes England debut and Emre Can features for Germany in Wembley stalemate

It was a proud night for Liverpool youngster Joe Gomez, who won his first England cap in the Three Lions' 0-0 friendly draw with Germany. Friendly, Wembley StadiumNovember 10, 2017.

England took on their adversaries at Wembley, with Gareth Southgate fielding an inexperienced lineup due to key figures being unavailable. Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was one of those missing through injury, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge didn't receive call-ups.

Tottenham's Eric Dier skippered the side, and there were also starts for debutants Jordan Pickford, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham.

By England's standards, especially when it comes to friendlies, it was an entertaining contest at Wembley, with Kieran Trippier finding the side-netting and Leroy Sane hitting the crossbar for the visitors. View image on Twitter    .

Pickford made an excellent save and Julian Draxler shot over the crossbar, before Gomez entered the fray earlier than expected. The 20-year-old replaced the injured Phil Jones with 24 minutes played, in what was an incredibly proud moment for him.

After suffering such bad luck with injuries, starting with a cruciate ligament problem picked up for England's U21s two years ago, this will be seen as a major moment in his career.

Gomez was booked on the stroke of half-time, following a foul on Sane, but he didn't look out of his depth at senior international level.

Jamie Vardy was denied by a superb save by Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen early in the second half, and Loftus-Cheek shone more than anyone.

Can was introduced in place of Draxler with a quarter of the match remaining, with the 23-year-old slotting into the midfield. One long-range effort from Can drifted wide, and a few bursts of pace were on display.

The game ended in a 0-0 draw but, in fairness, it was 90 minutes of relatively attack-minded action. From a Liverpool perspective, the evening was all about Gomez, who made the first of what is hopefully many appearances for his country.

England: Pickford; Jones (Gomez 24′), Stones, Maguire; Trippier (Walker 72′), Livermore (Cork 86′), Dier, Loftus-Cheek, Rose (Bertrand 72′); Vardy (Lingard 86′), Abraham (Rashford 60′). Subs not used: Hart, Keane, Cahill, Young.

Germany: Ter Stegen; Ginter, Hummels, Rudiger; Kimmich, Ozil, Gundogan (Rudy 86′), Halstenberg; Draxler (Can 67′), Sane (Brandt 86′), Werner (Wagner 73′). Subs not used: Trapp, Leno, Sule, Boateng, Plattenhardt, Khedira, Stindl, Gotze.

Ancient Technique That Can Trigger Your Super Human Abilities - Duration: 3:19.

Ancient Technique That Can Trigger Your Super Human Abilities

By consciousreminder

Sungazing was one very popular practice in ancient times.

Mayans, ancient Egyptians, Indians and many more ancient cultures strongly believed in

the power of the Sun.

They believed that it can heal diseases, put an end the need of food, and can even make

telepathy a possible phenomenon.

It sounds fringy and borderline science fiction, but the more spiritually advanced actually

had these abilities and they practiced them.

The process, as the name suggests, involves gazing at the sun.

It is practiced at sunrise and sunset.

The practice begins by looking at the sun for ten seconds and with every passing day

ten seconds are added in the practice.

One thing must be kept in mind, that you must be bare feet when you are sungazing.

It may sound like a myth, but the scientists too, have acknowledged the power of sungazing.

One of the most famous scientists, Nikola Tesla once talked about these super human

abilities.

He said,

My idea is that the development of life must lead to forms of existence that will

be possible without nourishment and which will not be shackled by consequent limitations.

Why should a living being not be able to obtain all the energy it needs for the performance

of its life functions from the environment, instead of through consumption of food, and

transforming, by a complicated process, the energy of chemical combinations into life-sustaining

energy?

The phenomenon is named HRM phenomena after Hira Ratan Manek who popularized the technique

in the modern world and got himself tested by NASA.

Lets shortly discuss the benefits of the practice:

1.

It activates our pineal gland and boosts production of melatonin and serotonin which are also

called feel-good hormones.

The hormones are also supposed to be the reason behind the increased energy level.

2.

It is known to stimulate the growth of pineal gland.

Generally pineal glands shrink with age, but with sungazing, the result is otherwise.

3.

Sungazing provides nutrition to both mind and body which provides for our energy requirement.

Hence, human can get rid of the need to eat food which promotes weight loss in a healthy

way.

We must realize that our past was very rich in terms of science and techniques.

They had the key to many human problems and the modern world needs to seek the knowledge

which our ancestors had.

The question is, why and how did we forget about this ancient technique?

Underappreciated Horror Movies You Can Only Find On VHS - Duration: 6:21.

Way back at the dawn of home media, your parents didn't have streaming movies and TV like us

advanced future people.

Instead, they had to rely on VHS tapes: blocky cassettes that displayed video of questionable

quality and which fell apart way too easily.

Some pretty cool horror movies were released on home video during that time, and a lot

of them never made the jump to DVD or Blu-ray.

Sure, you can find a few of these on bootleg DVDs and foreign releases that may or may

not work stateside.

But none have had an official US release, and your horror movie collection is worse

off for it.

Blood Beach

In 1975, a young Steven Spielberg reinvented Hollywood forever by creating the summer blockbuster

with Jaws.

Over the next several years, dozens of ripoffs of that film were released, most of which

were in no way subtle.

By 1981, audiences had been subjected to so many versions of beach-based terror that one

desperate screenwriter had a brilliant idea to freshen things up: What if the beach itself

was eating people?

That's the wonderfully insane premise of Blood Beach.

"What would you call it?"

"Blood Beach, man."

"Yeah, right on."

The movie begins when a woman out walking her dog is sucked under the sand by some unseen

beast.

Several more sand-suckings happen before anyone notices, and no one is smart enough to simply

stay away from the beach.

The brilliant film ends with a ridiculous-looking monster getting blown to bits, and an obligatory

sequel setup.

"What is it?

What the hell is it?"

"Who the f--- cares what it is?!"

Sadly, the sequel never materialized, and Blood Beach never received a US DVD or Blu-ray

release because its distributor went broke.

If you happen to secure a VHS copy, be prepared; the cover art is freaking terrifying.

And amazing.

Killers

Director Mike Mendez's 1996 debut feature Killers, sometimes known as Real Killers,

is about as obscure as it gets, but if you're able to hunt down a copy, you won't be disappointed.

Because of its title and year of release, it's often thought to be a Natural Born Killers

ripoff…. but it's definitely way crazier.

The movie opens with two brothers shotgunning their parents in a manner very similar to

the famous Menendez brothers case.

They're sentenced to be executed but escape from prison, eventually showing up at the

home of a suburban family who seems to have been expecting them.

The family actually seems downright psyched… but why?

The movie goes off the rails in ways we can't really describe here.

Since DVD rights are currently in limbo, you'll just have to track down a copy on tape for

yourself.

Mr. Frost

The one and only thing you need to know about 1990's Mr. Frost is that Jeff Goldblum plays

the Devil.

That alone is an iron-clad pitch for any movie, and Mr. Frost delivers.

It's an excellent slow-burn psychological thriller.

And, it bears repeating, features Jeff Goldblum as the literal Devil.

"What do you mean, what do you think I'm kidding?"

The mysteriously rich Mr. Frost is thrown into an asylum after dead bodies are found

buried all around his mansion.

Once committed, he starts messing with the head of a young doctor, insisting that he's

the actual Devil and proving it by doing weird, devilish tricks.

Less obscure than most given its star power, the DVD of Mr. Frost was never released in

the states.

But truly, no Goldblum collection is complete without it.

"Call evil by its proper name: Mr. Frost."

The Keep

1983's The Keep is nothing like the rest of Michael Mann's movies.

A Gothic horror film set during World War II, The Keep is only Mann's second feature,

based on a horror novel which he transformed into an expressionist, nightmarish art film

— with predictably weird results.

It's the story of a German platoon that encounters an ancient monster in an abandoned fortress,

told through blue filters and with a Tangerine Dream soundtrack.

The disjointed editing amplifies the dreamlike feel that was Mann's intent, and his signature

visual style is as sharp as ever.

It's not exactly a lost classic, and Mann himself tends to act like the film doesn't

exist — but yes, Michael Mann made a movie about Germans getting eaten by monsters and

it was pretty cool.

Blue Monkey

First things first: there are no monkeys, blue or otherwise, in 1987's Blue Monkey.

The film is about a giant bug monster, though the movie is sometimes found under more appropriate

titles like Insect or Invasion of the Body Suckers.

Title issues aside, Blue Monkey is pretty much a mashup of Aliens and The Thing, which

sounds pretty awesome.

A man falls ill when he's poked by a weird, exotic plant and is taken to the hospital,

where he promptly barfs up a giant white larva that starts growing very quickly.

Before anyone has the time to say 'xenomorph', the hospital is quarantined, making those

trapped inside easy pickings for the car-sized bug-creature.

It's an extravaganza of low-budget '80s creature effects, and the fact that it borrows liberally

from some much better movies is really part of its charm.

Really, the only disappointment in the whole movie is that no character ever says, "There's

a really bad bug going around this hospital."

What a missed opportunity.

Grim Prairie Tales

As a storyboarder and illustrator for many big-screen films, Wayne Coe had an extremely

successful career.

But all the while, he was dreaming of directing his passion project: a horror-Western anthology

film.

Originally intending to shoot one segment every year for five years using his own money,

Coe was able to secure a producer, a small budget, and in a pretty major coup, James

Earl Jones and Brad Dourif.

"Oh, I didn't expect that!"

Shot with a strong streak of social conscience, Grim Prairie Tales turned out to be quirky,

creepy, and effective, which apparently nobody was ready for in 1990.

Practically no one saw the film, but he got to make a pretty sweet horror flick with James

Earl Jones, and he almost certainly has the VHS tape that proves it on hand at all times.

Dream Demon

Released in 1988, Dream Demon was the brainchild of British filmmaker Harley Cokeliss.

He'd already worked on films like The Empire Strikes Back, but what he really wanted was

to screw with people's heads.

In Dream Demon, a young woman, anxious about her impending marriage, starts having spooky

nightmares that end up somehow warping reality.

She and her friend try to figure out what the heck is going on while it becomes harder

and harder to tell what's real and what's not.

It makes for a well-crafted film that doesn't borrow as much from A Nightmare on Elm Street

as you might expect.

There's no actual demon, but the film's hallucinatory tone makes for an even weirder story.

You don't get Freddy, but you do get whatever this is.

Liverpool Emre Can set to snub Juventus and join Man City next summer for FREE ● News Now ● #LFC - Duration: 2:10.

LIVERPOOL are worried they will lose Emre Can to Manchester City next year – for nothing.

And that view is also held by Italian champions Juventus, who are interested in Liverpool's

Germany midfielder as well.

Sources in Italy say Juve feel they will lose out to City when Can, 23, becomes a free agent

in the summer.

Can, who cost the Anfield club £10million from Bayer Leverkusen three years ago, is

in the last year of his contract and there is no sign of a new deal being agreed.

That is despite Can being regularly involved at Liverpool under a manager who is a fellow

countryman – Jurgen Klopp.

The Kop boss spoke on Can's future earlier this month.

He said: "It's allowed that he could sign a contract with us in May.

I have no problem with that.

"We have to respect when a contract ends.

If a contract ends there are two sides who could have done things differently."

And should Can's time on Merseyside come to an end at the end of the season, Juventus

believe the lure of working with City boss Pep Guardiola will be too much for Can to

resist.

He is being touted as an ideal replacement in the City squad for Yaya Toure, 34, who

we revealed last month could leave for City's sister club in the MLS, New York City FC.

What is clear is that Can – who was a substitute for Germany against England on Friday night

– should know all about life with Pep's exciting City side.

One of his closest friends is City winger – and his international team-mate – Leroy

Sane.
