외국어 많이 하는 방법 | How do you speak so many languages? - Duration: 4:21.
Hi everyone! A question I get asked a lot is
how is it possible to speak so many languages?
The question is how I am able to speak so many languages
First of all, I'd like you to understand that all of my languages are at different levels.
I can communicate in a few; I can help myself in a few, and I can have a fluent conversation in others
The second important point is
One really needs a lot of practice.
From what I've seen, if someone sees another person who speaks a ton of foreign languages,
They just think that person was born with a talent
They just have skills. That's what people think.
And they think that they aren't able to do the same.
But they can!
It just takes time and a lot of practice is needed.
So when people look at somebody who speaks a lot of foreign languages, they think "oh, it's just that person's talent, I will never be able to do that"
I'm too old
There is a lot that goes into learning languages, it's not just like that.
So yes, some people do maybe have a talent,
but there's a difference between having a talent and just letting it be,
and maybe not having a talent but having motivation
and time and skills to be able to master a language.
So, somebody might be born with a talent to be able to speak many languages,
but they might just say "yeah, you know, I don't need to practice"
whereas someone else who doesn't necessarily have that inborn talent, if that even exists,
they will be putting in so much time and effort and hours, and they can actually get to a higher level than the person who has the talent.
And the third thing is: The more you learn, the easier it becomes.
That's because you are able to discover what learning methods work for you.
And sometimes, languages have a lot in common.
For example, Japanese and Korean have many similarities in terms of grammar and vocabulary.
In English, there aren't particles like 은/는/이/가
And it was really difficult for me to understand those particles when I started learning Korean
And as I started studying more, I realized exactly what they meant,
and after that I started learning Japanese. Japanese also uses similar particles
and since I knew something similar from Korean, it was easier to comprehend.
"Ah Korean also has something like that"
and because of that I was able to learn Japanese faster and easier
The other thing you need to remember is
patience and motivation.
And you really need to force yourself to do a little bit each day.
It doesn't help if you take a language class at school and just study one hour in class from Monday to Friday and don't do anything after that.
There really is no shortcut to learning a language.
You have to put in the effort and the time. Even if you're doing 10 minutes a day, you can get a lot done.
Rather do a little every day than a lot in one day and nothing for a month.
And another way to answer "how do you speak so many languages" is that it's my passion and my hobby.
Some people ask me how I have time for all of that.
There are 24 hours in a day and if you really love something and if it's your passion, you will make time for it.
There's something I'd like to say to Koreans
Many Koreans think English is very difficult.
I believe it starts with an education problem.
In Korean schools, students often just take English comprehension exams. And that means they don't really learn words that are used in daily conversations.
And lots of students are unable to have a conversation in English.
So, apart from schools and hagwons,
one needs to make time to practice.
So in closing, I just want to say
there's a lot you can do if you put in time and effort
as long as you're doing something that you're interested in,
the language learning part will come easily.
In one word, make it fun for yourself.
Don't think of it as studying, but think of it as getting used to a language.
Thanks for watching until here

Dear Haters I Have So Much More For You! - Study Motivation - Duration: 10:32.
the thing is every successful person you know has failed at what they love to do before
I've been unsuccessful in my career you just didn't know about it because I
wasn't famous yet and I was trying to be famous I was trying to get a record deal
for six years and I kept getting turned down and any successful person you know
even though it seems like everything just happened for them it usually was
preceded by a bunch of failure or at least a significant amount but the great
ones aren't the ones that don't fail they're the ones that learn from their
failure and they keep going and they're persistent and they're tenacious and for
me I was trying to get a record deal for from 98 to 2004 and I got turned down by
every major record label including the one I'm signed to now and
for me that means that even when you hear no you have to keep going through
all those no's until you get to yes as a child my parents always told me you
could be whatever you want to be you could do whatever you want to do and you
know that that office that position of the highest office on the face of the
earth it was something I heard my parents saying it but I didn't totally
believe it yet I went out in the world and I carried myself and I held my head
high and I stood there and I look people in their eyes and I talked to people as
if I was deservant of everything that this planet has to offer
so I just I really want to say to children out there and to people who
are watching Confucius said one time he who says he can and he who says he can't
are both usually right so I want to stand here before you and as I hold this
award I want to give love to my wife and I want you to keep in your heart just
know that you can know that you can see people don't resist change people resist
being changed yes we've got to change yourself we've got to build a new image
a picture in our mind we've got to see ourself the way we want to be and then
we have to live with it that's you go to the gym work out that's
what you do you build a picture how you want to see this arm this arm and you
build that picture and then you build the body while you build the life in
your mind take your pen and write out how you want to live and always start by
writing I'm so happy and grateful now that and the second you write it you've
got it intellectually the moment you impress it upon your emotional mind
you've got it emotionally and it's only a period of time till it manifests on
the physical plane yes spirit works from a higher to a
lower potential all of those liabilities that they talked about started turning
into assets when I did Conan the Barbarian the director came to me and
he said if we wouldn't have you we would have had to build one and then
Terminator the director said I couldn't imagine to have anyone play Terminator that
wouldn't have an accent and that wouldn't have your body I cannot imagine
the line I'll be back with a normal American accent it works so perfectly
that you have this German accent so all of those things that they say the
liabilities became an asset the moment as moment went on they grew and grew and
I went from one movie to the next started making more and more money and
then on the end I ended up being the highest-paid actor
with thirty million dollars and Terminator 3
you have to chase your dreams dreams do come true I've chased one for last 21
years one World Cup for India after 21 years so dreams do come true it may take
a bit longer than some but but they do come true
sometimes what happens that we push ourselves but not enough because we try
and then we say we find excuses we say that enough I've tried it's not
happening and you give up and one extra step success is waiting for you which
you sometimes don't end up taking so always be prepared to push yourself
nothing absolutely nothing is impossible you can begin again you can believe God
again you can trust again you can be successful you can overcome your
addictions you can heal you can feel alive again this is when you realize
that those things are possible you are getting a breakthrough so I want to
encourage you right now don't give in go for it don't give up
don't throw in the towel and even if your back is up against the wall even if
you are on the ropes and you are receiving a rope-a-dope financially
listen you got to fight back you don't get in life what you want you get what
you fight for and when you decide that my future my health my marriage my
freedom my happiness my joy my peace my children is worth fighting for
you are securing your breakthrough stop multitasking like I used to do so many
different things I used to actually work in different jobs like do this do that
see the problem about multitasking some people can do it but the
problem is like whatever you're doing like those different things they're
gonna suffer are you gonna do lots of different things really badly so when I
make videos infinite waters I'm just doing this like I do consultations I
just do that I don't do a whole lot but I have a lot of concentrated focus on
one thing for a sustained period of time which is why we bloom and blossom baby but
you don't want to do that do you, you're like, I want to open up a gym Ralph a restaurant
too now I'm taking my kids for a walk then I'm going cycling then I'm going to
the beach then doing this then I'm doing that then I'm doing oh my goodness
gracious you're giving yourself way too much to do
you're making it harder than it has to be and that's why you lose the
enthusiasm for what you want to do so you don't end up becoming productive at
all so to become more productive just do one thing and do it well or just have
fun doing it whatever you want to do it's not enough if you get help you must
accept help and to accept help you must be capable of learning and who
teach you how to learn nobody the schools are giving you everyday a spoon
of knowledge and you get it in and tomorrow another spoon and then you
leave university but you don't know how to learn because you have been used that
they feed you with knowledge but after university then you have to start to
learn you have to start to learn how to learn and you have to be humble and you
must never believe you know it you must have doubts the doubt is your friend
anybody filled with little doubts I'm afraid of because these are the
dangerous people people who drive the car with no doubts
in the fog or in the street full of snow I'm afraid of
I want people that are that have full of doubts because the doubt helps you to
stay humble and helps you every day to ask yourself am I on the right track
what I did yesterday is that's right my vision is my vision still okay and if
you forget to ask these questions daily one day you will be in the wrong
direction negativity is just negative and there's no money in it there's no
future in being negative where's the solution you know I can't do that we
can't do that that can't happen this is wrong that's wrong
oh my gosh taxes are too high taxes - dude it's negative it is negative it is
negative look there's so much abundance of negativity that by itself tells you
why there's no value in it be really excited in what you're doing love what you're
doing and don't get discouraged if things don't work most of the time
things don't work but pick yourself up don't you've got you expect to fail but
fail quickly and move on don't keep banging your head against the same wall
repeatedly but really be exciting in what you're doing and know that it will be
important tell them about the cookie jar the cookie jar is something I invented
as you all know your mom has a cookie jar and sometimes you might have an Oreo
sometimes you might have a Chips Ahoy sometimes you might have an oat and raisin cookie you never know just in there my cookie
jar has every single failure and success of my life something I overcame so what
happens in this in time of life when you're stressed out and things get bad
even the hardest guy in the world me everybody thinks and I think I'm the
hardest guy in the world you got to believe that you got believe you are
something I will in my mind reach into my cookie jar and sometimes
you forget how hard you are in times of need because you're you're stressed but
you forget I'm a Navy SEAL I'm a ranger I'm this and that but you forget all
that cuz your life sucks I calm down take that one second get control of my
life reach in the cookie jar well you got
called nigger your whole life and you're now the only person in history to do this
this and this put it back in the cookie jar reset my mind you have to remind
yourself of how badass you really are in times of need that's the cookie jar

Movie Sequels Canceled Because The Original Was So Bad - Duration: 6:46.
Sequels have become such staples in Hollywood that almost any film will get one if the original
makes enough money.
With some movies, however, franchise hopes are so high in advance that a follow-up is
already being put in motion long before the flick ever hits theaters … which makes the
fall that much harder if and when it flops.
Here are some sequels that never happened because their predecessor pics were so poor.
Independence Day 3
It took 20 years for Independence Day to get its first sequel, but Independence Day: Resurgence
was expected to be the first of three planned follow-up films that would continue Roland
Emmerich's alien invasion story.
The original movie was a box office smash and earned mostly favorable reviews.
But Resurgence turned out to be too little, too late to resurrect that moment.
The movie was slammed by critics for being an elaborate but ultimately empty spectacle.
And while it wasn't an intergalactic bomb at the ticket booth, its lackluster receipts
didn't indicate much audience interest in the movie or its potential sequels, either.
Eventually, those ambitious franchise plans seemed to fizzle in the wake of its release.
Maybe they shouldn't have killed off Captain Hiller after all.
"That's right!
That's right!"
There's still some hope for those who'd like to see the future of the series, which would
see some of its heroes on a new space adventure.
According to Emmerich, he and the studio are considering turning to the small screen to
carry out the next Independence Day adventure.
Who knows?
Maybe those crazy aliens will find a welcome new home on the small screen.
Battleship 2
Hopes were very high for Battleship.
So high, in fact, that Universal Pictures signed a six year deal with Hasbro Games,
makers of family favorites like Clue and Candyland, so that they could become the de facto board-game-to-cinema
provider.
However, it's first big attempt was a $220 million wash for the studio, as Battleship
decidedly sunk with critics and audiences alike.
Director Peter Berg placed the blame on stiff competition, in particular Marvel's The Avengers.
But the fact that it was derided for drowning all plot potential in a sea of formulaic action
sequences didn't convince audiences to hop aboard the ride either.
"Negative, sir, it's a miss."
Battleship was set up to be a studio tentpole, but after it was torpedoed with bad reviews
and dismal ticket sales, Universal quietly scuppered those plans — and several other
Hasbro-based pics they'd been banking on have failed to set sail as well.
Maybe someone should've foreseen that a boat movie by a guy named Berg might not work out
so well.
"Iceberg!
Right ahead!"
Divergent: Ascendant
Even the Veronica Roth faithful were turned off by the third installment of the Divergent
book series.
The trilogy's finale received grimmer reviews than its predecessors from readers who were
disappointed at its hectic conclusion.
So when Lionsgate announced they'd be dividing the final adaptation installment into two
films, the collective eye-rolling among Divergent fans was intense.
The first two Divergent installments weren't built for critics, so it didn't matter that
they weren't lapped with praise or prestige.
They still earned enough money to justify carrying on with the franchise.
However, the third film was an unmitigated disaster on all fronts, earning laughingstock
status with critics and barely bringing in half of what Insurgent did at the box office.
The production budget on the would-be final installment, Ascendant, was immediately slashed,
and that was just the start of its trouble.
The director soon diverged from the project, and after the studio revealed they'd turn
to television to produce the final chapter, several cast members hopped off the train
as well.
Whether it's dystopia fatigue or simple dislike of the source material that caused audiences
to tune out, the franchise seemed to be lost before it could arrive at its final destination.
Several months after its originally slated release date for Ascendant passed by, however,
Lionsgate announced a new plan to develop Divergent's final leg as a TV series on the
Starz network.
But without its original initiates onboard to finish the futuristic saga, it hardly qualifies
as a true sequel.
Jumper 2
Based on the Steven Gould novels, Jumper was a sci-fi extravaganza that was clearly supposed
to do more.
With a promising young cast, an open ending, and a frenetic story that could easily be
continued in new adventures, it had "franchise hopeful" written all over it.
Despite a tepid box office take and terrible reviews, lead actor Hayden Christensen claimed
sequel plans were still in development with the studio even two years after the original's
release.
According to him, the sequel would've followed its heroes to a darker place.
Leap forward a decade, though, and 20th Century Fox is officially out of the Jumper movie
business.
Director Doug Liman has since managed to transport the property to another locale for a reboot-slash-sequel
produced by YouTube Red.
However, instead of continuing on with Christensen's character's journey based on the second book
Reflex, the new series will be adapted from the third novel in the series, Impulse.
This installment focuses on his eventual daughter instead of him.
Meanwhile, actor Jamie Bell has taken it upon himself to start up another small screen reboot
based on the property, which may or may not feature him in his original role from the
2008 film.
"Did you think you were the only one?"
So while Jumper might have built a launchpad for separate projects, whatever launch plans
they had for Jumper 2 have obviously failed to clear the hurdle.
The Power of Six
The Pittacus Lore novel series, upon which I Am Number Four was based, was wildly popular
when the first film dropped.
And in an era when Young Adult adaptations were all the rage and actor Alex Pettyfer
was considered the up-and-coming heartthrob, the film was expected to launch a full-on
franchise for DreamWorks.
The sci-fi adventure told the story of powerful alien teens who are being hunted into extinction,
and would've been followed up with Teresa Palmer leading The Power of Six.
But after the first film drew the ire of critics and the disinterest of audiences, the sequel
was ultimately shelved.
Screenwriter Marti Noxon told Collider that result was regrettable because "Number 6 was
really awesome and I would have liked to have seen a lot more of her.
We need another kick-ass girl heroine."
Considering how underwhelming Four turned out to be, maybe they should've just skipped
ahead to the next number in the first place.
Showgirls 2
Given Showgirls' continued status as one of the most widely derided movies of all time,
it may be hard to believe there could've ever been a sequel.
According to director Paul Verhoeven, however, Elizabeth Berkley was supposed to take another
turn on the stripper pole — before the movie's terrible reception left her career in tatters.
He told movie site JoBlo, "we had actually been working on the sequel to Showgirls which
was going to be called Bimbos and was going to be 'Nomi does Hollywood,' but after Showgirls
was released there was no way anyone was going to give me the money for that.
If we could just make Elizabeth Berkley 20 years younger now I would love to make Bimbos
today."
Considering how she seemed to time-travel right back to high school for that mini-Saved
By the Bell reunion in 2015, it's probably not her age that'll keep Bimbos from ever
happening.
