As A Nurse - Duration: 2:07.

As a nurse, I've become familiar with death on a very personal level.

We call it expiring.

Every patient, every person, when they pass, has a time of expiration.

You and I both have one, we all do.

It's a time on a clock, and it's a fact.

Your husband, your wife, your best friend, your grocery checker, your uncle, your sister,

assistant. That guy on the freeway that doesn't know how to merge. Your doctor, your neighbor,

and your newborn.

This is one of the only things we can be sure of in this particular world.

A little scary, right? Well the runner-up is change.

It's also a little scary.

Trying a new look, a new gym, a new bed time, a new social setting, a new deodorant, a new

job, a new relationship status, a new school, or a new activity.

We doubt it because we don't know it, and it's very real and very legitimate.

If doubt wasn't there, you would have done it already, but it is, and therein lies its

importance.

Will it work out?

It will or it won't, or maybe-kinda-sorta... but finding out... is precisely what we're

born to do.

So, if it is truly in your heart, then try that new look, show up to that new gym, reset

that alarm clock, say yes to safely socializing, be careful switching from Old Spice, put in

that two-week notice, end that toxic relationship, sign up for that class, travel to that airport,

and try something that just might enrich you.

Again, if it's truly in your heart, you can and should find a way to pursue it.

Remind yourself that none of us are permanent.

We all expire.

Your loved ones, and yourself.

"Scary" is not knowing that we will leave this world.

"Scary" is knowing that we will leave this world without doing what was in our hearts all along.

So for yourself, for myself, for everyone out there, do what you desire.

Also, learn how to merge.

It's not that hard.

That'll be your birthday present to me.

K?

Arsenal fans will love what Unai Emery has picked as his 'best moment' of 2018 - Duration: 2:39.

It was a whirlwind 2018 for Unai Emery.  The Spaniard started it in France and led PSG to the domestic treble before swapping Paris for London in the summer after being chosen as the man to replace Arsene Wenger

His first seven months at the Emirates have been mixed, with a 22-game unbeaten run having been followed by some poor results right at the end of the year - including a 5-1 mauling at Liverpool

But on the whole it's been a solid start to life in north London for Emery and he admits taking over from Wenger was the highlight of a memorable 12 months

"We start a new New Year and I feel very good with how my first few months in England went," he said in his programme notes ahead of Arsenal's game with Fulham on January 1

"I am feeling very good here and every person is helping me to feel good in my work and also in my life

It's positive.  "My strongest memory of 2018, and the best moment for me, was when I signed here at Arsenal

But for me every day is important because my philosophy in life is that every day you can enjoy working, you can enjoy with good moments and with bad moments also

"So I enjoyed all of 2018 and especially when my new challenge started at this club

"  Emery added: "I hope the new year will give me a new challenge here for improving with the team, with the club and also I want to find this improvement with doing something important for the club, for me and the players

"In every competition we can play with this ambition and I also want to enjoy every day in my work and also here in London

Liverpool and Arsenal target 'snubs Spurs as he thinks he's too good for them' - Duration: 2:11.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has no intention of joining Tottenham as he believes them to be beneath him

At least that's according to what a source told ESPN FC , who claim that Rabiot has snubbed any Spurs interest in him, with Juventus now preparing to make a move

The Turin giants join Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal on the list of clubs linked with the 23-year-old French international, who looks increasingly likely to leave PSG in January following a bitter contract wrangle

WIN £25,000 for FREE with Footie5 - click here to play  Rabiot's deal will run out in the summer, but PSG are looking for a fee for him now instead of losing him on a free transfer

Barcelona have issued a statement denying reports that a deal had been struck to sign the midfielder, who has informed PSG that he has no wish to sign a new contract

ESPN FC also claim that PSG chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi is irritated by Rabiot's behaviour, and at the prospect of losing one of the club's homegrown players

But they add that Al-Khelaifi is also relieved at the thought of no longer having to deal with Rabiot's mother and agent Veronique in future, given that she has caused the club's board several issues over the years

Rabiot is expected to be left out of the club's squad for their mid-season tour to Qatar in mid-January, and with little hope of him being selected for competitive action by coach Thomas Tuchel, then a transfer away looks likely within the next couple of weeks

Pundit names the one player who could replace Ozil as Arsenal's 'superstar' - Duration: 2:57.

Unai Emery already has a replacement for Mesut Ozil, according to former Arsenal star Charlie Nicholas

Speculation regarding the former Germany international's future at the Emirates Stadium is set to heat up ahead of the January transfer window

Left out of the squad for the loss at Liverpool with a knee injury, it's the latest high profile game that Ozil has missed this season having been absent for games with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United this month

Upon learning that the 30-year-old wasn't going be involved against the Premier League leaders some fans took to Twitter and demanded he be sold as early as the January transfer window

But who would replace Ozil if he was sold in the new year?  Well, according to Nicholas the answer is Reiss Nelson - who is currently on loan at Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim

"I was kind of hoping this lad would come back to Arsenal in January because he's in the Bundesliga right now," he told Sky Sports

"He's doing really well in Germany and every time I see him, I think there's a lot there

"Arsenal have three or four young kids that have real potential, but this lad has something really exciting about him

"When he gets on the ball he makes something happen. I wouldn't be surprised in six months' time, if Ozil was to move on, to see this lad adapt and become an Ozil-type player

"When he first came on to the scene, they used him as a right winger and sometimes as a wing-back, but I think he's better than that, I think he should be given more freedom

"He can be Arsenal's new superstar."  Nelson has been impressive in Germany during the first-half of the season

At one stage he was rivalling Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski for the top scorer award and has also made an impact for the England U21's

Chelsea FC face losing midfielder Mateo Kovacic as Inter Milan plot Real Madrid agreement - Duration: 3:04.

Chelsea have signed Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid for the 2018/19 campaign. The deal was part of Thibaut Courtois' move from Stamford Bridge to the Bernabeu last summer

Chelsea were believed to be considering making Kovacic's move permanent with a bid at the end of the season

But Inter reckon they can steal in and snap up the midfielder - because there is no purchase clause in his current loan terms

That is according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport. They claim Inter bosses are determined to bring the midfielder back to the San Siro

Kovacic left Inter for Real in 2015 but he was not part of Julen Lopetegui's plans at the start of this season

Real could decide to bring the midfielder back into the fold at the end of this campaign, with Santiago Solari now in charge of the team

But selling the Croatia international to Inter may also appeal. Tuttosport claim Inter are aware that Chelsea do not have an option to buy in the loan agreement - and that has given them hope of securing a move

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has already failed to sign Real midfielder Luka Modric and a move for Kovacic would likely prove easier

As for Chelsea, losing Kovacic in the summer would mean them beginning the search for a new midfielder

Sarri has been linked with a swoop for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic. The American is also wanted by Liverpool - as well as Real Madrid

Moving for Pulisic would cost around £45m and there are claims Chelsea could push for a deal this January

However, Sarri may be forced to wait until the summer to sort out his squad. Get Chelsea latest news updates directly to your inbox Subscribe Thank you for subscribing
