So this winter for me has been "a bit of a let down".

In English when we say something is "a bit of a let down" it means that it's kind of

disappointing.

This winter is a little bit of a let down because there's no snow on the ground.

In Canada usually we have snow by now and I really like snow.

Another example of something being a bit of a let down could be, maybe you've seen a movie

and the movie was really, really good and then they make a sequel, they make a part

2 of that movie and when you go to see that second part it's not as good.

And you would describe that as "a bit of a let down".
