Youtube daily how Jan 5 2019

I am in the company Turbolab.

more than 10 years we

working together.

all turbocharger repairs and upgrades

turbine

I do here.

There is a precision turbine.

it came in

badness. we diagnosed it.

and decided to upgrade.

put the ball bearings.

change the shape of the impeller.

the whole process and I you now

try to show.

we have the bushing one that was standing.

here are these bushings.

then there is this shaft.

two bushings.

there's one on this side.

another with this. there's a stopper.

keeps from moving up and down.

accordingly, the top thrust bearing.

Is the axis of the impeller centered here ?

the other side?

On the other hand shaft.

The shaft is getting into its grooves!

well, it's not grooves ,it's o-rings.

shaft from moving up and down

holds the thrust bearing.

and in this as

the whole system?

that bearing! the lock is inserted into the hole.

it keeps it from moving back and forth and

from the turn.

there's no thrust bearing.

accordingly, there is still

water cooling jacket. and there is only oil.

here is the bearing of the GT series. and here is T series of.

in the impeller the differences large ?

No. exactly the same.

compressor wheel 76 usual.

and now 76 GTX billet.

it is believed the size of this diameter.

large. outer circle.

GTX

this diameter

and the turbine blade is at an angle

and plus 3 millimeters due to this .

76 is called and in fact 79.

ie due to

protrusion of the blade beyond.

even this visually it is easier. the billet is easier because it is one-piece milled.

cast always heavier.

looked seals watched

These bearings are good, powerful but not always stand pass.

it turns out the entire process you must first.

disassemble and reassemble.

with these turbines was the most difficult and still.

turns out the latch is in the oil channel?

the pitch?! Yes!

through the feed channel it is clogged. 0:04:49.700,0:04:56.200 what about pulling him out ?

in this thread.

in the opposite direction and all!

the case itself !

does it depend on the size of the turbine ?

No. it's standard.

independent of the impeller.

the hot part.

it is the largest.

[music]

it's a heat-reflecting screen.

are these reverse threads? Yes.

okay! can be carried on the stand.

magnet! negative positive. for the sensor to read the shaft position.

how would that work?

magnetized plus, minus-two sides.

this sensor reads them.

[music]

imbalance? It's t series ! they all are.

it's always a long process.

now we have to see how much it will peak dizbalans.

then saw.

try to spin. now zero will note.

[music]

can it be balanced only by the impeller ?

No. nut!

sawn nut.

it is necessary to disassemble!

she has.

go upstairs.

disassembly-Assembly!

[music]

the build process is not easy. the first time

the turbine is not balanced.

or rather showed a large imbalance.

we'll take it apart and watch it.

then to collect anew.

T a series of not love to collect.

always a problem with her balancing.

two units were collected. with these podsobniki not to balance.

put them on others and everything was balanced.

you when it is inserted, or rather stick

the axis is in the inside of the sleeve.

is she getting tight? it is on this diameter becomes tight .

the shaft is perfectly smooth? Yes.

shaft and impeller go together ?

Yes, inseparable.

this part is made of stainless steel.

the rest is steel.

connected by welding-friction.

everything is balanced at the plant.

initially gets the shaft with the impeller

already balanced? Yes.

and the impellers are also initially balanced.

the principle position of the impeller

with respect to one another can give dizbalans.

even if the bearing does not give imbalance.

for example. something got into the impeller. well, the turbine normally turns.

bought a wheel. changed. put. it'll work for a while.

but not known what there imbalance. and when it falls apart.

now on booth disbalance was on 30,000

turnovers'.

you now it is hyped up to 30

and if up to 60 thousand.

it will just fall apart.

what is the operating range of these turbines?

on the turnover at the ball.

a maximum of 125. and the car ? on average 60 thousand.

the shaft is smooth!

something with the bearing.

The stand will show !

this on 40 thousands of plummeting has.

standard situation for T series.

gone she promised to come back!

she on 60,000 unbalanced , then to 120 compensated.

how do you know where to cut?

I zero pose.

the magnet.

it shows the offset in degrees relative to zero.

a miracle happened!

finally it happened!

to what state should be balanced?

here's the green, bold line.

beyond which should not act.

ie it is considered the norm? Yes!

the turbine is balanced.

now we will gather finally in the case.

can be will

to go to collect the car.

Ah that the turbine is ready!

we completely upgraded it.

more precisely carried out an upgrade

the master of the "Turbolab".

put a new cartridge.

now it's on a ball on a ceramic ball.

completely new impellers are installed.

the turbine is balanced.

I think it will last a very long time.

I'm going to the workshop. bye everyone!

How to optimize your LinkedIn Profile in 2019 | by Tim Queen - Duration: 12:03.

Hi this is Tim Queen and today I'm going to talk about how to optimize your

LinkedIn profile for 2019.

[music]

You have to understand why are you optimizing your

profile and for whom you are optimizing your profile for. There is many different

motivations that you might have. For example you might want to have a, find a

job if you are like out of a job or you might want to make a career move or you might

want to switch industries. Or you might, if you are like a b2b company you might want

to find customers. You might also be like a single consultant so you want to find a

different corporate consulting with different role types. So it's really important to

understand who are you trying to reach and this is one for whom you're

optimizing your profile for. So there's many different elements that you want to

optimize. Let's start with some of the most obvious ones which are really standing

out. This is your profile picture and your name and your headline. So the

profile picture really will be anywhere you go if you're participating in the

in the LinkedIn group. If you are posting some content it will be on your

profile. This is one of the first things people are looking for and if you're writing

a comment there will be your profile picture so this one has to be really

good and I really highly recommend you get professional headshot photographer

to take a picture that conveys competence, authority and likability.

You can't have one, you have to have all three of them you can't just be likeable

and people think oh yeah such a nice person but they don't respect you

but you can't just be like the person which is like super tough and then

people are like scared of you and they respect you but they don't want to

work with you because they are scared or they don't trust you. So you have to have

all three of them to really make a good impression in whatever scenario. Then

your nametag and that's usually you are your personal name but you could also

think about adding for example like one of the titles at the back of your last

name. This is a little hack you can go into your last name field and add some

comma and then you put like a little title and if you want to really pop out

with your name. And then the last thing is the LinkedIn headline and this

is probably your most important asset of all things when how you want to optimize

your profile. You can use that in so many different ways and I create an entire

article with over 50 plus Linkedin headline formulas for you to find out

like which one would work for you, if you like a job seeker, if you're like a

professional if you want to build your career if you're like a student looking

for like an internship this is the document you want to check out to go to

more details. So those are the three most important parts of your profile. Those

parts will mostly decide like 80 to 90 percent if someone is willing to click

on to your profile. And now the next part on your profile, you want to make sure

that your description is really detailed and clear and make sure that you put the

most important information on the first three lines of text because this will be

the text that people see in a description and they have to see the

entire text they have to click on more so the first two to three lines have to

tease enough content or enough so people actually click the read more button then

you want to make sure that you explain who you are, you want to explain the

value proposition that you are bringing to the table and you want to explain the

process how people can contact you and how you can work with them. This can be

additional resources, you might put them a link into one of your websites where

the process is explained in more details. You might explain exactly what you want

to be contacted for. Of course not everyone is going to read it but the

people who are, it makes it much more better easier to qualify someone

to make sure that they follow the right procedures so you don't have to repeat

yourself over and over again or at least to a minimal amount of time. So

then down below in your LinkedIn profile, you want to make sure that your

experience section is reflecting, it's creating a coherent story for the person

you're trying to reach. As an example, let's say like a completely stupid example, but you

want to get the point. Let's say you were delivering pizzas when you were

like 16 and now you want to get a job in banking. Do you really have to

list your pizza delivery activity in your LinkedIn profile. No, because this is

completely unrelated to what you want to do. You want to make a career in banking

so don't list out some irrelevance, to put stuff that you did like 20 years ago.

So just restructure your experience section to make a coherent story.

On the other hand, let's say you are like the restaurant owner and you want to

open another franchise you want to get into or like become a franchisee for

pizza. In that scenario you might keep in the story because it's a career

story. You always liked pizza, like you were working in pizza during your school

term then and maybe in university time you also like worked in different pizza (places).

Like a mid-level restaurant management functionality, so in that case

it's a coherent story for that particular position you're trying to

reach. So what can you do? You can basically, you can look at each of your

experience section and try to look through the eyes of someone who would

hire a person where you want to, that you want to become. So and then try to give

them the information, the experiences from that particular position that would

be most relevant and there's almost, there's a thousand ways how you can look

at each and every thing you have done in your life. You just have to look through

the eyes of someone you want to reach and then try to look for through their

eyes what of what other million things you have done in this particular job.

What are the five things that are like most important to them,

that show that you are the right person to do the job and then rewrite your

experience section to reflect that. You're almost writing for the next thing

you're trying to build, the next step where you want to go if you want to find

customers right from the eyes of the customer, what makes the customer have

more trust in you more, perceive you as more authoritative. What do they have to

see what are the five details of the millions thing that you have done in

this particular job role that highlight this that give them more confidence. This

is really easy. Same is true like for university.

Especially if you're like a student, you want to highlight more stuff in your

university degree, think about what would the company who is hiring like a fresh

graduate, what do they care about most? What did you study, what were like your

minors? Did you have a certain degree in a certain area extracurricular

activities? Try to highlight the things that would be most relevant to the

person hiring and if you're a student and you don't know this, try talking to

someone who is already in this industry and ask them what is most important and

they can exactly tell you what you can highlight in your profile that makes

someone like make a decision between yay or nay. And then the section down below

you can add different experiences and you have to really be careful that you

pick some of those keywords you want to be ranked for in the future.

Because it takes time like there is only like a small number of people like and

actively endorsing you for skills so you want to make sure they usually only

endorse the first top three ones you might want to make sure that the most

important ones you want to be endorsed for are in the top three positions. And

one of the best ways how you can get more people to endorse you is by

actually endorsing other people first. They often return the favor but you have

to be sure that you are like picking the keywords carefully because let's say you

picked like ten keywords and then over time you are getting like ten, twenty, thirty

recommendations for your keywords and then you decide

yeah, these weren't really good keywords well there and then you remove them you lose

all the ten twenty votes. But now you have to go back and you have to annoy

the same twenty people who gave you a recommendation in the first place. You are like, guys

sorry um I didn't like the keywords, can you endorse me for my new keywords ?Now

you are asking them for a lot to go back and do all the work again.

So there's annoying so you want to make sure that you really put a lot of

thought into the keywords that you want to be a hired, recommended for and one of

the best ways that I can tell you how to pick those keywords. I think two or three

steps ahead, what will be the skills that you will have in two or three steps up

the career ladder. What are like really the things that build your authority to

a level that if you have walked up two or three steps in the career ladder, what

are the skills that count then? Focus on them, put them at the top, build them up,

learn, build up your education and really get people to endorse you for those

skills. Always think ahead, you don't want to be endorsed for skills that you have

right now, you want to be endorsed for skills that you are currently learning

and building up for the next step. And then there is a lot of other sections in

your profile that you don't really need you have like maybe groups you're like

joined in, pages you like, interests. So you can, you can focus on those but the

truth is, most people don't even read that far. Most people just read the

profile picture they look at like, do you have like a nice cover picture and

you put something really that is highlighting your likability, authority

and this at the top. They look at your profile picture, at your name, at your

headline and at your description. And if they are like slightly interested, they will

scroll through experience section and maybe at your education section and

that's it. So those are really the sections that you want to focus on. So if

you want to know, if you, if you don't an idea of your profile is optimized or

is it doing really well, you have no idea what to do how to get started, I actually

create like a little tool that will help you to answer just that question. It's a

quiz, it's like a LinkedIn optimization quiz. I put the link in the description

and you can follow along and answer the question. And it will tell you at the end

is your profile optimized and will give you like useful resources for optimizing

those aspects that are currently missing in your profile so you can work on those

specifically. So make sure you check out the link in the description or in the

first comment and yeah if you liked this video make sure that you hit the like

button and that you turn on subscription and the little bell on so you get an

email notification the next time I'm uploading a new video.

How Do I Have My Drawing Setup For Recording Videos? (Detailed Guide) Drawing Studio - Duration: 12:04.

I've had a few people I asked me about my drawing setup and how I have it set up to do my drawing so

it's couldn't take a look at that

The way I have to set up is I have black mat there and

This is good for when. I'm doing the time line of drawings there's not too

much light reflecting off the white table and so it allows me to have a

lower ISO so it makes things less grainy and it's a lot sharper I

have here my

Audio-technica microphone and that

is positioned just in front of my camera and

my camera I have here I have the

Little LCD screen it's flipped out right there by the side of it so as I'm speaking into the microphone

I can look at that and

See, where my hand is or

where my drawing is then I can adjust things at the same time while I'm speaking on the camera and

then to the left I have a white

umbrella that he used for lighting it's 105 watt bulb I

Also have on this side another umbrella light and that's a silver one I actually want to get a white umbrella

because the silver seems to put off too much of a directional light and

It causes too many highlights on things and I can get into their own

This the umbrella part, which is this here I can get that

online for really cheap so not that big of a problem and I have the umbrella lights

Position at a 45 degree angle so that one light comes down

It's all centered right here that's, also why I like having this

black mat on here it's like it's like a cutting mat and

Has different measurements and the inches and everything on it and so

That means when I position something on here I can get a good

Orientation underneath the camera so it allows everything to be positioned properly and as you can see here

on my

DSLR I have it set to where

It's off slightly right now I said to move it back maybe half an inch but

I have a set to where the center of the camera where it focuses in the middle of that square is

right in the center of where these lines all

connect and

This allows me to position everything so that it's all lined up and I get a proper focus in my videos, when I'm recording for

tutorials or even for time lapses

And I had issues before to where

Things wouldn't line up right and I thought I was

Know in the time lapse or in the area of what was according but I actually had my paper off too

Much and I didn't show up and had to restart

so that's how I have that set up and

for my DSLR this is a

Canon t7 high

or the candidate hundred and

Four for this microphone it is an audio technica

At2020

or the audio technica

2020 and I got that online

For about a little over a hundred dollars and then I have here stick for the mic and

This doesn't hold very heavy mics but as long as you don't extend it out too far

Then you dr. Worry about it um falling down because the ball was a really cheap one end I actually have

that on the other side of help keep it from falling forward

so if you want to use one of these with your microphone I would suggest eating a

Better quality one something that's a bit more sturdy the legs on it are okay but they're not that

sturdy so

Yeah if I could go back I would get in a sturdy one but it's using this here

helps balance everything out and it's not

over then

and the lightbulbs I'm using they're a

5,500 K day light and the reason you wanna use a daylight bulb is because

It reproduces the natural lighting that you get so all the colors for your videos and the drawings

They'll come out accurately, also when you're drawing

keeps you from

Having colors that are wrong and then if you go to take a photo of it or share it online

It's going to look different because the colors aren't coming up right or for example if you were drawing and then you

Take a photo of it somewhere else or taste enough to be hung up then the colors of the tongue

aren't going to be very accurate

so that's one reason for that and

Also another reason why I have this screen. Here flipped out is because while I'm using this I

can quickly go to all my settings and change things

So I can turn it off if there's no information I

have

all the information from an aperture may have stopped my eye so that cookie switch between those and

then on the top part of my DSLR I have other buttons that I can quickly access to

change things as I am working on videos and it makes it a lot more efficient and

Quick to edit everything

now my microphone has a the cable is running down and it actually attaches to

my computer this attaches to my focus right audio interface I

Have it plugged in right here and then I just have the controls

for the volume and everything right there this allows me to have a better control of the audio quality and

Gain on the microphone so it's not too loud or too quiet and then for my tripod for my camera it's a vanguard

Tripod I'll leave a link in the description this video, where you can find all of this

but I bought this online I think it was around $200 I think

About a couple months ago maybe six months ago or so and the reason I got this tripod is because

it extends out so it allows me to have a

Top-down view of everything because little tripod I had it didn't have a top-down view

It was actually at a slight angle like this I can never get a direct view down and

It's really convenient because I can adjust it here?

Left and right and then this has a ball head on it so I can adjust it you know 360 degrees and that moves

This whole thing forward and back so I can adjust where it is here so when I change on the tripod the camera will go

like that I can adjust the height and then I can also turn it or even turn it this way or that way and

it was a lot better than that steep try but I used to have and this is actually just the stock strap that I have

that came with the camera I want to get a better one that's a bit longer and

Slide and has the ability to stretch some

Because after I've been using this camera for a long time I'm doing a photo shoot or something like that

It does get to be tiring because of the straps like really digging into your shoulders so that's one tip I would give if you

get your cameras to get a better strap

and

The drawing cable have there's actually three more of these that I have attached to the sides

but if only got one right now because

The other ones just kind of get in the way of the umbrella lights I don't really need them because I have everything

over here for all of my art supplies

So I don't really need this area for storage

so this is where I'll put extra pencils or charcoal or pins, well I'm drawing and

makes it quicker to access rather than having to worry about running over and

walking all the way over there to get something and makes things a lot quicker and

Send those over here

I took it off of this corner so I can get the light closer because the light was too far away and

It was too dark in the camera and it raised my eye so and then things got a bit grainy

Then here as you can see?

this has all the different

numbers which I'm wearing out on this and

that's why I actually have this mat here because it helps me with measuring things and

So, I love this on here so that the mat

Pushes against it doesn't slide off and I left this on here because it

Also pushes against it slightly and it doesn't slide also the table while I'm drawing

It's kind of like when you're if you're using a piece of paper

Saying example what I mean so you have a piece of paper if you don't put tape on the corners is going to slide around

it's the same not a thinking process of when I

using this mat and these umbrellas they just here I can um

Change this I won't go do it not with one hand but if I twist this

This metal rod can go up. Or down and it can raise the umbrella up or down which means it changes how much light

Is directly going on to it if I raise it light goes out of the sides more if I lower it it's more directional

so if I want to

lower my ISO

to where

Is brighter and I can get a better image I'll lower this if I want to raise my ISO and let's say

For some reason I want to do that then I'll raise that up

I also want to mention why I have all this extra space around the table and

The reason for that is so that I can have this set up

Here beside it there's nothing in the way I can have the umbrella light

My tripod over there and all this extra space allows me to move things around and not be too cramped up in one spot

same with over here so I can move things around it gives me a lot of room and

I've got all kinds of space over here to walk around keeps me from getting all

cramped up in the corner with no space so

Guys make sure if you make drawing

Setup like this that you do have space around the table to set things up no for

Microphones or umbrella lights or your camera

So yeah that's how I have it set up and if you have any questions about how I have it set up or

Anything in the video that I didn't cover on. Accident just let me know in the comments below and if you have any suggestions about

Something I should fix or

a way that would be better to set this up and go ahead and let me know in the comments below and

I will see you in the next video you all have a good day and I'll see you later

How Far Do You Travel? - Duration: 2:01.

The Contemporary Art Gallery has partnered with TransLink

to create a new public art initiative.

We've titled it, "How far do you travel?"

And it features five artists — all Canadians — but all living all over the world who

are interested in considering images as transport systems.

When you board the bus, you will see the title, "How far do you travel?" on the interior panels

of the bus.

And it's a question that I'm hoping, I mean in a way, we ask ourselves or we should ask

ourselves and ask one another.

But also, it's a question that I've been interested in asking the artists and the artwork itself

— how far does this imagery travel?

Where has it come from?

Where's it going?

And maybe hopefully to offer an opportunity for people to think and look hard at the vast

and complicated image world that surrounds us every day and think about how far does

this image travel?

Where did this come from?

Diyan Achjadi is a Vancouver-based artist who's work is very much concerned with the

significance of print culture in spreading knowledge throughout the world.

She's from Indonesia and so she's particularly interested in historic images of that place

that were made by colonial settlers or people who'd never even visited Indonesia and the kind

imaginings they would have of that place.

So she takes these images twists them, distorts them, turns them around and transforms them

into something like a new mashup in order to critically think about the process of colonization

and kind of the colonial imaginary.

I'm really excited to see how Vancouver's public will respond to this project and get

involved with it.

How To Add Names On Knitwear with Duplicate Stitch and Embroidery Techniques - Duration: 8:03.

My name is Kelley

I'm here with Alpaca Direct and I'm here to show you how to write names on your knitwear

projects and they can also be used to

These same methods can be used to work with crocheted projects as well

You can use a lot of these methods or useful for both

so the first sample that we're gonna look at is duplicate stitch and you see here that I've already started some duplicate stitch and

When you're doing duplicate stitch, it's good to use yarn that is at least the the same yarn that you Nick

Knit with it needs to be about the same thickness because if you're trying to use thinner yarn, it's not going to look great

For duplicate stitch and when you're doing duplicate stitch, it can make the letters a little bit bulky

And so just know that when you're working along that they may be a little bulkier and that that's okay. It looks good. It's fine

So let me go ahead and show you how I did this

I have my working yarn here and I'm working my way across then crossed and across

and so I am going to it's coming out of

We're gonna be going into this stitch right here

So we're gonna go

Follow that stitch exactly

And we're gonna come around here and go up one bar

and

Then you want to get your attention about the same as you're knitting you might have to fiddle with it a little bit to get

It about right

Now I'm gonna go ahead and do the next stitch above it

And then go up one bar and then I'll show you one more time

Trying to keep the tension about the same one more stitch

Around and then I'll just poke it through

And that's what duplicate stitch looks like when it's finished this one right here is not ideal

The tension is a little bit tight and you might have to play with it a little bit. These are two different yarns

Not the yarns that I'm knitting with. This is a sample yarn that I'm testing so I'm just

Using it to see how it acts when when I'm working with it

So this next sample up here is an embroidery technique

and it makes

your let your letters a lot finer and

More refined looking. So if you had a smaller project this would be ideal for that

Let me show you how I would do that

So I have my working needle here. Oops. Let me see if I can grab some a little longer strand here

Wow second here. You don't want it. You need a little bit of working yarn to work with

Okay, so let's turn this over again and what we're looking at is this stitch right here and that is where the first

part of our

Letter would be and I'm just gonna make a straight L so you can see so I came up under there

And then I go right back into that stitch and go

Down two bars two bars down, okay

And then just pull it you want it about the same tension as you're knitting

So it looks the best that it can look and then two bars down

And bring it through again, let me see if I can get my tail out of the way there

- Barstow

Let me try three bars so you can see cuz you can make it those loops any length that you want to make them you

Just want to be consistent when you're doing it. So let me show you what it looks like with two loops

See, there's two bars. So I'm going back into this time. Let's show you

So if you wanted to do that and make it loops a little bigger longer

You could do that too. That looks pretty nice. Whatever you do. You just need to have it consistent

So that is another way that you can put your names on your projects when you're in it and or crocheted projects

You can use that same method and it works fantastic

I'll put that there

Now this third one I thought it was worth mentioning. It's an embroidery

It's called the Daisy stitch or what have you, but let me just show you how it's done

When they start you come from the center and you pull

you go through like I have and then you go straight back down into your work and

It makes a loop and you'll see what I'm talking about missing in here. Let me get my tail out of the way

There you go. There's your loop and then you would come back up wherever you want your loop to be. I will go

Maybe right here

and you go right through that loop and you pull it nice and tight and then you just go straight back into

Where you came from?

You see that loop right there and you can use this to write names and you can also

Just do a single strand and let me show you how you would do the single string

So you come up in the center like you did on this technique, right? And

then

Let's say I'm gonna go one two three bars up and then I'm gonna go

Three bars in the other direction, I'm gonna go down that way

And there and then maybe I'll go out to the side here

All these are little techniques you can do to write write names on things

And just dive right back down into there

See

That's another technique that you can use to write name. So you're gonna use that one. Ah

This is embroidery. This is the Daisy stitch. This is duplicate stitch. And now we're gonna take it doing regular

Stranded colorwork and what I did to make this work this piece is in the round

Right, and I'm going how can I take all those floats and make them work?

so what I did is I put the name on the front and on the back and I just

Carried my floats all the way around the circle see my floats

They're all the way around the circle and that worked great because I was intentionally

I mean in the beginning I wanted to write my name just on one side

But in order to make those floats smooth

I had to write the name on both sides and I used a chart like this

And I just followed my chart that I made and this is a chart that I made up from a youtube free YouTube

video where they had software to make your own

Graph paper and I made my own chart

So you can use that and make bulky

Weight or fine weight depends on how many stitches you want to use and I numbered mine so that I had the stitch count

For each one and then how many rows up and how many stitches across?

So that works great. And then you can just keep this whenever you're working on your project

here's another one where I just use plain old graph paper, and I just

Highlighted the stitches and I could just knit right off of this to make this

So you could do that's another way that you could write your names on your knitwear projects

Do you go get those a try and see if they help you with writing names on your projects!

S01E08 How to take a picture of a cannon at 120mt depth - Battle of Lissa 2018 - Duration: 7:46.

we are getting into day four and today we will be diving again the Re d'Italia

and the target of the day is to make some better video

and to take some more artistic pictures

and also to take some little bit of measurements on the cannons

to understand the caliber of each of them

what we will do today is that we will follow also Derk

Derk is an exceptional photographer

we will try to follow him and understand what is his thinking process

while trying to decide how to set up the pictures

and which kind of pictures he wants to take

yes the plan is to go to a nice shipwreck

and take a photo of a cannon

trouble with these cannons is that they lay more or less flat on the bottom

and whilst they are flat on the bottom it's really hard to make a photo

which stands out a little bit and shows them as the main subject

so what I'm gonna try to do is to put some light behind

or underneath the gun so we can

isolate it from the other rest of the structure there by the light

I'm rarely using strobes so I'm working with video lights quite a few times

I like to do long exposures but this will not be possible down there

because then I cannot pose the camera in a position

where it needs to be and so I have to work with what I have

that means a lot of lights and lights well balanced

so also the background lights will still be visible

this is what I always try to do, that I try not to isolate the subjects too much

One important thing there is to have an aperture which is wide open

then the focus needs to be in place

yeah shutter speed is another question, how low I can go

and sometimes I'm going to values like 1/30, 1/15 of a second

1/8 normally doesn't work well, you need to be very lucky with that

so yeah I'm trying to go as low as possible there

on the other hand I'm trying to go as low as possible also on the ISO

but that would normally be the one value I sacrifice

that would be the first one I push in this case here

but then again also there needs to be a balance between

ambient light and the light that we put there

in the end this is really tricky thing

because it's very easy if you open up everything very very wide

so you have nice ambient light around but you overblown your highlights

you overblown your lighting, so that needs to be covered

it was impressive dive today

full of details

we all were not super confident that this would be

the perfect choice for today's dive

but in the end went out really nice

I think going there ten times you see new stuff

coming back to my duty for today

which was to produce shots with some video lights

it proved as difficult as I thought

because the guns are never in a position where you want them

the third gun was super nice, had a super nice opening

so I put a light in the barrel

it kind of like shoots a little bit with some dust in there

with the sediment we stirred up a little bit

and then I realized I went to the position where I wanted to take the photo from

there was some debris part in between me and the cannon

then again I had some help from Luca

so he was basically my sun today

and shining down and that proved to be a nice concept, nice thing

although I have to say is if you're not too much into guns

and cannons it's hard to understand the total shape of the thing

one thing I have to add is that unfortunately today

the visibility wasn't as good as the first day

and the other thing is that I felt it to be darker than the first dive

technically from a photographer's perspective

we've been in the water one, one and a half hours too early

to have the best angle of the Sun crossing the water

and not being reflected on the surface

let's see tomorrow how will be the weather

so the forecast is not really hundred percent clear

it's a clear "so so" situation

tomorrow morning we will see what will happen

How Tariffs and Chinese Supply Crushed Solar Panel Stocks in 2018 - Duration: 3:59.

Nick Sciple: Let's talk about the segment of the market that probably has suffered the

most from that cyclicality. That's the solar panel makers and manufacturers.

Earlier this year, we saw President Trump put in place a 30% tariff on imported total solar panels.

However, even in spite of that, taking a lot of this imported supply, making it more expensive,

we've still seen solar panel prices decline significantly over this past year as demand has fallen.

Do you want to talk a little bit about what's going on with that over the past year or so?

Jason Hall: Initially, at least in theory, the way it was presented was that the idea

behind the panel tariffs that were put in was that it was supposed to create incentive

to bring solar manufacturing to the U.S. Frankly, that hasn't happened.

There were a few projects that were announced.

I know that First Solar is making a big expansion, but they're expanding a facility where

they were already doing some domestic manufacturing.

Ironically, their solar panels are excluded from the tariffs anyway, because the thin

film technology they use is not the same monocrystalline multicrystalline technology that's where the tariffs are.

Hanwha Q CELLS announced a big plant in Florida that was supposed to add like a thousand jobs.

It was going to be a huge deal.

After multiple revisions, what they're saying now is, it's going to create 50 or 100 jobs,

and it's going to be completely assembly.

They're taking cells that are still being manufactured overseas, shipping them into

the United States and assembling them into panels.

Frankly, the tariffs haven't generated anything like what was purported to be the job creation

and bringing solar panel manufacturing to the U.S. Now, a couple of reasons why that's happened.

Probably the biggest short-term reason is the U.S. announced these tariffs early in the year.

Close to the middle of the year, China made some substantial changes to its domestic distributed

solar policy, which absolutely cratered demand for panels.

Panel prices have plummeted since then because you have this massive overcapacity. It's like oil.

OPEC has announced this cut of oil because there's too much oil.

The idea is, that should restore some supply and demand.

Essentially overnight, we had a massive oversupply of solar panels.

Solar panel prices in the U.S. have actually fallen more than the amount of the tariffs

because of this massive cut in China's domestic program to add distributed solar.

You could actually buy solar panels in the U.S. today for your house, theoretically,

for cheaper than you could have a year ago. [laughs] That's where we are.

The end result is, you think about an industry that's already a fairly commodity product,

companies like Canadian Solar, Jinko Solar, who by revenue are two of the biggest solar

panel manufacturers, and the vast majority of their manufacturing happens in Southeast Asia.

They sell a commodity panel. It's a low efficiency panel and they lead on price.

They've had to slash their prices because demand has evaporated in China.

[DE|ENG] Subnautica - How to find Mobile Vehicle Bay | Mobile Fahrzeugstation finden - Duration: 2:18.

Hey guys and welcome to another Subnautica

tutorial. Today I'm gonna show you where

you can find the fragments for the Mobile Vehicle Bay.

And today I'll start from the Lifepod again.

And yes...

for the Mobile Vehicle Bay fragments

you'll have to swim in this direction until you'll find the seaweed again.

And now I'll do a little timelapse until

we are there. So see you soon.

Okay fine... so now we are there.

Here we already find all the seaweed.

And we simply have to look between the seaweed...

so it's not limited to this location

but also in other seaweed locations you may find.

There you could find also some fragments. But now we simply have to look.

On the ground are some little boxes

where the fragments are in.

And one of them

I had found at the

border of this first location.

Here in this little bay.

And exactly here we now have the first fragment.

And now I'll do a little time lapse again

until I'll find the next fragment

in an other location. So see you soon.

Little info: I'll swim in this direction

to the Aurora.

See you soon again.

Okay well. Now here we are at the second

seaweed location. Thats actually pretty

near. And here we also have the opportunity to

find the fragments.

And now I'll do a little time lapse again until I

found the next fragment.

And here again we have another fragment of the

Mobile Vehicle Bay.

And...

yeah that was it already. I hope I could

help you further with this video. And I would be glad If you could join

the next time. Until then bye and see you next time.

How to make Neer dosa / Neeru dosa by Desilicious Kitchen Recipe 51 - Duration: 3:42.

Hello everyone welcome to Desilicious Kitchen

Today we are going to see how to make neer dosa

These soft white dlicious dosas are a speciality of Karnataka

But before that do not forget to subscribe to our channel Desilicious Kitchen and press

the bell icon for notification We have taken 3 cups raw rice or khane ka

chawal And we have soaked this in water for 8 hours

After 8 hours we have drained the water and taken the rice

in a mixer jar And to this rice we have added rock salt you

can add any salt And now we are adding 1.5 cups grated coconut

Remember for 3 cups raw rice we have taken 1.5 cups grated coconut

ANd now we are going to grind this adding very little water

Let me tell you the measurement.

We will be adding 1 cup of water and grinding So now we have blended this to a smooth paste

adding 1 cup of water Now we have diluted the batter further by

adding 3 more cups of water we have to bring the batter to a buttermilk

like consistency so in total we have used 4 cups of water

1 cup for grinding and 3 cups for diluting the batter

Now we have heated a tawa and when the tawa is hot we have taken the batter in a bowl

and we have to pour it like this from top just like we do for rava dosa

Now let us move the tawa side to side so that the batter will get spread evenly

After this we have to cover for about a minute..less than a minute

and then if your dosa is in the right consistency you will be just able to pull it off like

this with your hands There is no need for a ladle

of course if you want you can use it But if comes off easily

see how nice our dosa is we have used an iron tawa

It is much more difficult to make it on an iron tawa

For those of you who are using non stick this is going to be cake walk

So make all the dosas in a similar fashion

See this is how easy it is to remove it if you have got your dosa right

Soft neer dosas are ready You can have it ith pretty much anything

Sambar, chutney, kurma But today we are going to have it with Kerala

kadala curry This is made with kala chana Kerla style

I am going to put this recipe in our channel very very soon

It has already been shot.

I am editing it now do check it out

I hope you enjoyed watching this recipe Thank you very much for watching

bye

How could God help me in stuff like competitive athletics? Q&A Ep. 11 - Duration: 5:50.

Hey Hallie, how was your week?

Hey, it was okay actually I was still off school because of track and field

and regionals and stuff but you know I'm still catching up on some work so it's good.

Yeah I forgot you were a part of the track team-so you run the 200 meter right, did you win?

Oh yeah, I did run the 200 meter but, I, you know I didn't place but my school did pretty well

like Joey got second and Rose got first so overall, we got the pennant which was nice.

Oh, but why didn't you place? You're like, super fast and, I saw you training like five times a week at the running track.

Plus, didn't you place like top city last year?

Yeah I did but you know, I just don't know what happened

um, I tried to slow down towards the end and my heat was just so fast and I just

had no motivation to catch up because you know, there's just so far ahead.

Dang, well did you meet a personal best or...

I just I didn't I didn't do well overall you know.

Wait, then do you know your overall rank? Like top ten, top five?

I just finished last overall...look can we talk about something else?

Oh yeah sorry I don't mean to pry.

It's fine, don't worry about it.

Hey dude!

Hi.

Why are you so bummed out?

I'm fine. I'm just tired.

Are you sure? Are you still upset about the track meet?

No, it's just like I was talking to Miranda today and, you know when I told her that I placed last, she was shook,

you should've seen the look on their faces. It's so unfair, like I trained so hard

and I worked so hard, and I did so bad.

But maybe it's not how much you train but how you train.

I remember leading up to the competition, you were always frowning in anger after your runs.

You weren't even enjoying the sport anymore.

Well yeah I hate it now since I'm so clearly bad at it.

Okay no you're not bad at it you just have a bad mindset and outlook.

Do you know Kelly Clark?

Uh, Kelly Clarkson?

No - Kelly Clark, the Olympic snowboarder.

Yeah I think I've heard of her, I think.

Well, after she a won gold medal in the 2002 Olympics she was really dissatisfied with her career and her life.

Much like you, she lost all the joy in the sport so she picked up the Bible in

her hotel room, opened it up and started reading. One of her favorite verses is

Ephesians 3:17-19.

Okay, so how does that help me?

You've been gloomy all week Hallie, we've all been trying to cheer you up, but not

only do you not have the motivation to run, you've been just camping in your room with your

lights off and listening to super sad music. You need to let Christ into your

life and ground yourself in his love. You've grounded yourself in the love of success and sports so much

that when you fail you were uprooted; but when you ground yourself in the love of Christ, unlike success in sports

the love of Christ is unchanging in a feeling you'll never be uprooted.

Yeah I see your point I just feel like, you know sports has been such an important part of my life, and

you know honestly I never failed as much as I did at that meet and plus I had a

reputation of being fast and hard-working runner and I guess after just

losing so badly I just, you know kept asking 'Why?' like how did this happen to me?

Well you can't control everything. Shane Doan, the NHL player? He missed the entire 2004-2005 season because

of the players strength, but do you know what his response was?

No

He says when things like this happen you realize how little control you have. The more you try

to further control, the more frustrated you become. You just have to accept what God

is doing in your life. You may have questions, but don't let them consume your thoughts, you have to enjoy the blessings of every day.

Yeah I see what you're saying.

Listen dude, I know you're still really upset and that you don't want to be

lectured right now, but, here's a verse that's always been my go-to for me.

Romans 8:28 - here. "And we know that in all things, God works for the

good and of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Whenever I read this verse, I'm reminded that no matter what hardships I'm going

through, because I love God, that God is always working for the good of me.

Alright thanks man, I really needed that and, yeah I was just thinking about

how there are some things that I just can't control like God, like what God

wants me to do right and whether I would or not it's entirely up to him and I

need to be able to react in a way where I follow his commands

Hmmmm, what do you mean?

Like after I lost I was just so upset, I didn't want to talk to God or

anybody but, you know Paul says to give thanks in every circumstance right-

in my highs and lows and I think this just reminds me that you know I should thank

God for the opportunity to run but I should also thank him in all my circumstances.

Awww, I'm so proud of you!

Thanks.

You're absolutely right, losing in sports

can be super painful, especially because you worked so hard on it, but trusting in

God and following his command is an easy way to get back on your feet.

Hey you know what? For once you're actually out of the woods.

HEY!

Okay why don't we pray?

Yeah that'd be cool.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord as we come before you today and lift our anxieties about competition to your hand,

Lord we thank you for the opportunity Hallie has to run, to compete, and to learn from her mistakes.

God we know that in all circumstances we should give thanks to You Lord, so please forgive us and help us to always

be aware of the blessings you put on our lives, even when we feel down and upset.

We pray that you open Hallie's heart so that she may be able to trust fully and

openly in you Lord, and we pray that Hallie will learn to trust that you are

working for her good, in all circumstances. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

AMEN! Alright feels great, I think I'm gonna run now bye!

Bye!
