Youtube daily Instagram Jan 2 2019

What is up guys?

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to my channel.

My name is Ortal Levitan, aka the Workout Unicorn on all social media platforms.

Today is going to be a very juicy video because we're going to talk about getting shadowbanned.

I love the shadowban and I will explain why, but before we get started make sure to give

this video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

It really helps me out with the YouTube algorithm.

Okay, so why do I love the shadowban so much?

I love it, I love it.

The reason I love it is because nobody knows anything about this thing.

It's really, literally it's all speculation and trial and error.

Luckily I've had a lot of trial and error with this because so many of my friends reached

out to me and asked me what the hell's going on with their accounts, so I got to get a

sneak peak into their insights and figure what was going on.

Essentially another reason I love the shadowban is because Instagram publicly said that it

does not exist.

I'd say about six months ago, seven months ago, Instagram came out with an announcement.

They had a huge conference and they actually talked about the new algorithm and different

features and they also said that the shadowban does not exist, they've never deactivated

anybody's account and we're all just imagining this stuff.

Literally I would say 24 hours later one of my friends got her account shadowbanned.

Literally it got deactivated and she got it back two weeks later but I'll talk about that

in a second, kind of explaining what the shadowban is.

I just love it, Instagram says it's all in our head and then my friend gets shadowbanned

not 24 hours later.

Let's dive in.

What the heck is the shadowban?

The shadowban is essentially, it's kind of like a range.

You can be on the not so bad range and on the oh my God I'm so F'd range.

Now essentially what it is, it is Instagram's way of penalizing you and your account for

doing something that goes against Instagram's guidelines or the rules that they're okay

with or whatever.

If you go into Instagram's website or in the app you can see in the terms of service, they

have a whole bunch of stuff that you should not be doing, like buying fake followers,

buying fake engagements, etc, etc.

The main way that the shadowban came about is two ways.

The first thing is by using hashtags.

The hashtags are hashtags that were spam hashtags.

Essentially if you looked at these hashtags they would have a lot of banned content, so

Instagram bans content like pornography, anything that's bullying, offensive, etc.

For example, if you went to hashtag [fitzbo] you would see a ton of porn, literally ton

of it.

There was just post after post after post.

That was one hashtag that was shadowbanned.

A way to figure out if a hashtag was shadowbanned, I don't think they're around any more because

Instagram did a great job of cleaning it up, but the way to figure out if a hashtag was

shadowbanned is you would go to that hashtag and you could only see the first ten to twelve

posts.

Anything beyond that you get this little notification that said the rest of the posts on this page

or hashtag don't comply with Instagram's guidelines.

That was essentially a good way to figure out if you're using a hashtag that's shadowbanned.

Also if you just look at the hashtag and you scroll through it and you see a bunch of porn,

that's a good way to figure out that you should not be using that hashtag.

It still happens but I haven't come across any hashtags that are explicitly shadowbanned

by Instagram but I know that hashtag [fitzbo] was one of them.

Obviously as you can imagine a lot of people in the fitness industry were using this hashtag

and then their account got shadowbanned.

They were like what the heck is going on, I didn't do anything wrong.

That's one way to get shadowbanned.

The other way, and this is really, really weird, is to use music that is copyrighted.

If you upload videos and you have music in your videos that is copyrighted music you

will get flagged, you will get shadowbanned.

Now Instagram has incorporated a new thing where if you upload the video and the algorithm

can detect that you're using music that is copyright, it won't let you upload the video.

It will tell you this is copyrighted music or it won't let you upload the video period.

It will just block it halfway through from being uploaded and you have to figure out

for yourself why the heck your video hasn't uploaded in two hours.

Another thing is if you posted videos in the past that have copyright music in them, then

Instagram will delete them.

It will send you like, it will just delete them or it will send you a message if they're

nice, you have copyright music in this video, it has been removed, etc.

What you have to do is essentially upload the video again without any music or music

that's not copyright.

The problem with this is that even if you use music that is not necessarily copyright

music, so like there's a ton of websites that offer copyright free music that you can use,

like the one I'm using in my video right now, etc, Instagram might still flag that.

That's another thing, keep that in mind.

Technically I don't think you're going to get shadowbanned for that, actually scratch

that, I think you might because I do remember a couple people messaging me and letting me

know that they saw a huge decrease in their engagement.

We'll talk about that in a second.

Those are the two ways that you could get shadowbanned in the past and currently today.

Like I said, today it's more likely they're going to happen due to the music option, not

so much the hashtag option because the hashtags have been cleaned up.

What the heck is the shadowban?

Essentially like I said, it is a range.

On the lower, you're not so terrible part, it's essentially you're going to see a decrease

in engagement.

Your account is going to get penalized for doing something.

By the way, you're not going to get notified of any of this.

Instagram is not going to go out of their way and be like hey, you messed up, you did

something wrong, we're going to penalize you.

No, no, this is all you're going to figure this out by yourself and you're going to see

it.

What will end up happening is like you got shadowbanned, one day you upload a picture

and it's just nothing.

You're usually getting like 400 likes a photo with like 60 comments, you get maybe 20, 30,

100 likes with like five comments.

That's essentially a good idea to figure out that you've been shadowbanned.

If this is just one post, it's not a good indication because you could be posting at

the wrong times, you could have used the wrong hashtags, etc, but if your account has been

consistently getting 400 likes and 60 comments and all the sudden you're posting and you're

getting 100 likes and like five comments or ten comments, this could be a good indication

that you're doing wrong and that you have been shadowbanned due to the two things that

I mentioned before.

That is on the low end of the spectrum.

How severe it is obviously varies.

The way Instagram does it is essentially it doesn't show, your post doesn't show up on

people's feed.

If you got shadowbanned, your post is not going to pop up on people's feed, it's not

going to pop up at the very top.

If people search for you and they go and they look at your posts, it's going to show up,

it's not like you're invisible, but your post is not going to show up on people's feed that

follow you and it's also not going to show up on hashtags.

If it does show up on hashtags it's going to quickly be like at the very, very bottom

or it's definitely not going to be trending, it's not going to show up in the top hashtag

section.

Another indication is if you upload an Insta-story and your story goes all the way to the very

end of the person's feed.

Let's say if you're following me, any time I upload an Insta-story and again, it's kind

of chronological, you're going to see my story go up first.

If I was shadowbanned, you're going to see my story, like you're going to have to scroll

all the way to the very end of all of your stories to see me there.

That's Instagram's way of being like bad on you, you did something we don't like, you're

getting punished.

Now that's on the not so bad end.

The very bad end is your account could get deactivated or deleted.

About I'd say a year ago, a bunch of fitness accounts got, like overnight they would log

into their account, it was fine, they went to sleep, they woke up in the morning no account.

They tried to login, no account, contact Instagram for support.

You contact Instagram there's nobody to contact.

You can send in a bunch of emails, nobody's going to ever respond, literally.

A bunch of people were freaking out, they're like oh my gosh, my page is gone and these

are really large accounts, 200K, 500K, 100K, this is where their business is, this really

messed it up for them and they didn't even know they were doing anything wrong but they

still got penalized for it.

Their account got deactivated.

Essentially what that means is that your account disappears, poof, overnight it vanishes.

You have no access to it, nothing, nobody can find you, it disappeared and you don't

get access to it for I think like a week or two weeks and then miraculously just as it

disappeared, poof it is back.

You get access to it after two weeks or something, something random like that.

You can try emailing Instagram, they're never going to respond to you.

Promise, just give it a shot, you're never going to hear back.

That's a deactivated.

Now on the worse end and again, some accounts got deactivated, others got deleted.

Your account overnight disappears, you are never, ever getting it back, ever, it's gone.

Your user name is now up for grabs, everything is gone, your pictures, your stories, whatever,

all gone.

Now I know this really sucks and again, Instagram claims that this thing doesn't really exist,

my friend proved them wrong.

Luckily she only got deactivated and it was because of copyright music.

She got her account back after a week and everything was there.

The followers were there, everything was fine, it's literally like her account just froze,

disappeared in time and then came back.

Like I said, if you're trying to figure out if you got shadowbanned, look at your engagement.

Obviously if you got deactivated or deleted you're going to know, your account is gone

but if you're noticing a decrease in engagement consistently and you've looked at the hashtags

and it's not the hashtags.

If you're using hashtags go to the hashtags, look through them, see if there's a lot of

spam on them.

If they are, stop using them.

If you upload videos that have music in them, try to upload some videos without any music.

Usually that kind of helps kind of reverse it or it will definitely make it so it's not

worse.

In terms of how you can reverse the shadowban if you have been shadowbanned, there is a

ton of speculation out there.

I personally haven't found anything that actually works definitively, some people will tell

you to sign off the app, some people will tell you to not use hashtags, not post.

I honestly haven't tried any of those out, I don't know if they actually work but if

you have been shadowbanned it can't hurt but honestly my best recommendation is try to

avoid getting shadowbanned in the first place.

Much, much easier.

I hope you found this video helpful and if you did, please make sure to give it a thumbs

up and drop a comment below letting me know that you enjoyed it.

News24 - Pogba showed true class with comment on Rashford's Instagram after Bournemouth win - Duration: 4:02.

There was no shortage of superb performances in the Manchester United squad as they put Bournemouth to the sword on Sunday night

Following on from victories against Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town, the Red Devils secured themselves a third consecutive win and with another four goals to show for it

Paul Pogba took most of the applause on the evening, scoring a first-half brace and deservedly collecting the Man of the Match award

However, the display of Marcus Rashford was also one to remember and the Englishman set the tone after just five minutes when he provided an incredible assist for Pogba

Rashford would later secure his own place on the score-sheet before half-time and interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had plenty of compliments for his academy graduate after the match

Praise for Rashford vs Bournemouth  "Marcus has been different class since I came," Solskjaer informed Sky Sports

"He's scored two now in three. His work-rate is unbelievable.  "He closes down, chases, runs in behind, and the skill for the first goal for Paul… the first thing, he holds the ball up, he hasn't got the right to get past them

"He's got all the chances in the world, the potential of being a top, top, top striker

" Pogba's comment to Rashford  High praise indeed and plenty more compliments were rolling in for Rashford on Instagram, after the forward posted two photographs of the victory

Footballing figures like Ian Wright, Diogo Dalot, James Maddison and even the England national team all dropped their kind words in the comment section

However, it was the words of Pogba that prevailed, with the French midfielder garnering over 3,000 'likes' after sending a classy comment to his teammate

Check out his verdict down below:  Stay classy, Paul.  Pogba wasn't the only one left dreaming about Rashford either, with many United fans wondering just how good he could become under Solskjaer or any future manager at the club

It's easy to forget that Rashford is still only 21 years old and the assist against Bournemouth was a spectacular reminder of his raw ability

No wonder Pogba left the need to praise him on Instagram and to his credit, he repeatedly gestured to the Old Trafford crowd that Rashford deserved the credit for the opening goal

And while it still needed Pogba to provide the finish touch, it was that little bit of magic that set United on course for another convincing victory since Jose Mourinho's sacking

It hasn't been a vintage season from Rashford by any means and the numbers will need to improve but the latest signs are incredibly promising

Only time will tell whether Rashford will live up to the dreams of United fans, and Pogba

How many goals do you think Rashford will score this season? Have your say in the comments section below

Campaign fail number 1? Instagram Live video which shows Elizabeth Warren chugging on a beer - Duration: 18:14.

Campaign fail number 1? Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren is blasted for 'desperate' and 'try hard' Instagram Live video which shows her chugging on a beer

Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts is being widely criticized on Tuesday for pandering to millennials by posting a live video Q&A on Instagram while chugging on a beer.

The 69-year-old Warren cracked open a beer on-camera on an Instagram livestream on New Year's Eve, and took questions from followers.

The seemingly-spontaneous video channeled similar social-media efforts by former Texas Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke and incoming New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, following Warren's announcement Monday that she is forming an exploratory committee for a 2020 run.

'I'm here in my kitchen, uh, and um, I thought maybe we'd just take some questions and I'd see what I can do,' Warren began as she looked into a camera apparently set up on a countertop.

She continued: 'It's been kind of an amazing day.

So, today, I, um, got up early this morning, and, uh, talked to a bunch of folks on the phone, and then went outside and talked to the press -- and this is our house, and has been for a long time, and there are all these reporters, and trucks, and everybody outside the house.'.

Shortly afterwards she said: 'Hold on a second -- I'm gonna get me a beer,' and walked out of view of the camera.

Warren, who has a proven track record as a small-dollar fundraiser, announced upon returning that she has already received donations from individuals in all 50 states, the District, and Puerto Rico, adding: 'It really has been an exciting day,' she said.

She told followers she and her husband would be following their usual New Year's Eve routine: 'We watch Casablanca, we get some good food. and, um, we sit there upstairs and we watch Casablanca.'. She added the movie fills her with hope.

Ocasio-Cortez, 29, used Instagram stories and livestreams during her run last year to connect with her supporters. O'Rourke often broadcast himself cooking at home during his failed bid to unseat Ted Cruz in Texas.

But Warren's appeal to young voters struck many as inauthentic given her personality. 'Elizabeth Warren seems more like a chardonnay senator than a beer senator,' Boston University politics professor Tobe Berkovitz told The Boston Herald.

'It's just sort of trying too hard … and people have pretty good radar for that sort of thing. Ryan Williams, a Republican strategist, said: 'She's never really made this type of appeal.

'She's nervous about newer younger faces in the Democratic party. 'She's making a pretty desperate attempt to make it look like she's cool.

The reaction on social media was similarly critical. 'Looks like we have candidates shamelessly copying [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] by doing kitchen Instagram videos,' tweeted Laura Wilson.

'Either Democrats think 12-year-olds vote or they realize their base is stupid and votes for style over substance,' tweeted another Twitter user. 'It's impossible to take Elizabeth Warren seriously,' tweeted Lee Border.

'Elizabeth Warren took a moment out of her "I'm just a regular gal" video to go get a beer, crack it open and drink it. The hypocrisy is astounding,' tweeted a Twitter user.

Other Twitter users said Warren drinking beer was ironic given that Democrats thought Brett Kavanaugh wasn't fit to be a Supreme Court Justice.

Kavanaugh was confirmed to the bench after a bitter battle during which a woman came forward to accuse him of attempted rape during a high school party more than 30 years ago.

Journalist Michael Tracey tweeted: 'Oh my god every 2020 presidential candidate is going to livestream their personal lives non-stop like insecure teens. Happy frickin new year.'.

Warren is the first candidate to take the major step toward a run in what is expected to be a crowded field.

Ocasio-Cortez's communications director told Rolling Stone his candidate thought social media had 'more capacity for transparency and just to be herself'.

President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would 'love to run' against Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, though one would have to 'ask her psychiatrist' if she has a chance to win.

It was unclear what Trump meant by the comment, which he made during an interview on the Fox News Channel on Monday.

'I wish her well, I'd love to run against her,' the President told Fox News after Warren announced that she was forming an exploratory committee - the first step which indicates a plan to eventually run for the White House.

Trump then mentioned the controversy over a DNA test which Warren took to prove that she is of Native American origin. 'She did very badly in proving that she was of Indian heritage,' Trump said.

'That didn't work out too well. I think [Fox News reporter Pete Hegseth] ha[s] more than she does, and maybe I do too, and I have nothing. 'So we'll see how she does.

When Trump was asked if she can win, he replied: 'Well, I don't know, you'd have to ask her psychiatrist. Warren dodged questions on Monday about her biggest political liabilities as she jumped headfirst into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary process.

In announcing the formation of a presidential exploratory committee, Warren staked out the first significant territory in what will likely be a crowded field of Democrats itching for a swing at Trump.

But she showed no sign she's ready to overcome the self-inflected scandal that has dogged her for years: her questionable claim of American Indian ancestry.

The result was an unsteady performance that none of the three major cable news networks broadcast live from beginning to end.

Asked in her first question as a candidate-in-waiting how she will respond to Democrats who worry that her slow-motion ancestry gaffe had left her too vulnerable to be electable, Warren defaulted to talking points.

'I'm in this fight because I understand what's happening to working families,' she said outside her home near Boston, standing alongside her husband Bruce Mann.

Trump has long been critical of Warren for claiming to have Cherokee ancestry, a move the president claims gave her preferential treatment in university hiring at Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania.

Warren conceded this month that she is 'not a person of color,' following her embarrassing October release of DNA test data that concluded her proportion of American Indian blood might be as small as 1 part in 1,024 – lower than average European-Americans.

She sidestepped a separate question on Monday about whether her far-left brand of populism will polarize American voters, denying her meaningful support outside the liberal northeast U.S. Instead she acknowledged only that CEOs and investment bankers won't like her.

'The problem we've got right now in Washington is that it works great for those who have money, to buy influence,' said Warren, 69. 'And I'm fighting against that, and you bet it's going to make a lot of people unhappy.'.

The 69-year-old Democrat would not, however, rule out accepting help from super PACs built with their political contributions. 'Would you take support from super PACs,' a reporter asked.

A flustered Warren said only that 'I don't think we ought to be running campaigns that are funded by billionaires, whether it goes through super PACs or their own money that they're spending.

That fell short of a pledge to shun their help as she runs for the White House.

'I've already received donations from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico,' she boasted, before revealing that she would spend New Year's Eve with her husband doing what they always do: watching the 1942 film 'Casablanca.

Trump aides licked their chops and laughed as they anticipated a battle between the president and the ultra-liberal swashbuckler he regularly mocks as 'Pocahontas.

A Trump administration official with knowledge of the president's thinking said Monday that Warren 'will go down in flames,' and cracked a subtle Native American joke. 'She's going to somehow ride her far-left platform into the White House?' the official asked.

'How?'. 'It's a dream come true,' said a second official, adding a fond hope that Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal would follow Warren into the race.

'Can we get Blumenthal to run too? More phony Democrats, please,' said that official. Trump has similarly weaponized Blumenthal's past missteps, turning his military career into a case of stolen valor because he has falsely claimed to have fought in Vietnam.

Blumenthal served in uniform as a U.S. Marine reservist for six years but spent the war thousands of miles from harm's way. Warren's New Year's Eve launch guaranteed she had the nation's political spotlight largely to herself.

'America's middle class is under attack,' the 69-year-old Massachusetts Democrat said in a launch video. 'How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie. And they enlisted politicians to cut them a bigger slice.'.

She tried to strike a uniting tone, declaring that 'no matter what our differences, most of us want the same thing: 'to be able to work hard, play by the same set of rules and take care of the people we love.

That's what I'm fighting for.'. The Republican National Committee blasted out a scathing reply. Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said that Warren 'couldn't be more out of touch.

With her lack of support from voters – including in her home state – on top of her phony claim to minority status, now that she is formally running Americans will see her for what she is: another extreme far-left obstructionist and a total fraud.'.

Warren burst onto the national scene a decade ago during the financial crisis with calls for greater consumer protections.

She quickly became one of the party's more prominent liberals even as she sometimes fought with Obama administration officials over their response to the market turmoil.

Now, as a likely presidential contender, she is making an appeal to the party's base. Her video notes the economic challenges facing people of color along with images of a women's march and Warren's participation at an LGBT event.

In an email to supporters, Warren said she'd more formally announce a campaign plan early in 2019.

Warren is the most prominent Democrat yet to make a move toward a presidential bid and has long been a favorite target of President Donald Trump.

In mid-December, former Obama housing chief Julian Castro also announced a presidential exploratory committee, which legally allows potential candidates to begin raising money. John Delaney is the only Democrat so far to have formally announced a presidential campaign.

But that's likely to change quickly in the new year as other leading Democrats take steps toward White House runs.

Warren enters a Democratic field that's shaping up as the most crowded in decades, with many of her Senate colleagues openly weighing their own campaigns, as well as governors, mayors and other prominent citizens.

One of her most significant competitors could be Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent who is eyeing another presidential run harnessing the same populist rhetoric.

She must also move past the widely panned October DNA test stunt meant to bolster her claim to Native American heritage. Instead, the use of a genetic test to prove her ethnicity emboldened Trump's taunts of her as 'Pocahontas.'.

There was no direct mention of the controversy, or of Trump, in Monday's video. It did include images of the president and his inner-circle current and former aides who her base most loves to hate: Kellyanne Conway, Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon.

Warren has the benefit of higher name recognition than many others in the Democratic mix for 2020, thanks to her years as a prominent critic of Wall Street who originally conceived of what became the government's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

She now faces an arduous battle to raise money and capture Democratic primary voters' attention before Iowa casts its first vote in more than a year.

She has an advantage in the $12. 5 million left over from her 2018 re-election campaign that she could use for a presidential run.

Warren's campaign is likely to revolve around the same theme she's woven into speeches and policy proposals in recent years: battling special interests, paying mind to the nexus between racial and economic inequities.

'America's middle class is under attack,' Warren said in the video. 'How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie. And they enlisted politicians to cut them a fatter slice.'.

NACKTER SILVESTER-GRUSS: LILLY BECKER ZIEHT AUF INSTAGRAM MAL WIEDER BLAN | Schnellste Nachrichten - Duration: 5:21.

Was willst du damit beweisen?", stichelt dort jemand.

kommentierte Beckers Anwalt Christian-Oliver Moser damals.

Stop 🔸 Following My Wife on Instagram!🌶Kanye West to Twitter - Duration: 2:26.

We probably don't need to tell that Kanye West has had quite a year.

And to be clear, we don't mean that in a good way.

At all.

Whether he was describing slavery as a choice or fantasizing about playing catch with Donald

Trump, Yeezy found new and interesting ways to baffle and infuriate the masses in 2018.

West swore off politics back in October, but that doesn't mean he's done being bonkers

on social media.

No, these past few weeks, Kanye has been devoting his attention to a bizarre feud with Drake

.

Although we're not sure if "feud" is the right word, as it seems to be a pretty one-sided

fixation on Kanye's part.

Anyway, it's always a dangerous game guessing what's going on in Kanye's head, but as far

as we can tell, the rapper's final (?) tirade of 2018 is a result of his ongoing anger toward

Drizzy.

It all started with this all-time bonkers tweet.

Either that's a reference to the rumors that Drake had sex with Kim Kardashian , or Kanye

really doesn't understand his wife's career, and that comment is directed at all of Twitter.

Either way, with that, he was off.

Kanye's tweets ranged from the vaguely threatening ("See when you care about your family you

don't let no man push you to do nothing that could risk your freedom") to the amusingly

asinine ("Tweeting is legal and also therapeutic").

As far as we can tell, dude remains deeply pissed at Drake, but there was also a healthy

dose of his usual pseudo-spiritual mumbo-jumbo in there as well.

What does it all mean?

Well, we doubt even Kanye himself could tell you.

Whatever the case, it's a reminder that you can safely anticipate even more insanity from

hip-hop's most unstable artist in 2019.

As a send-off for his most memorable year yet, Kanye concluded today's rant with this

nugget of wisdom:

"If I got any cooler I would freeze to death."

Carry that energy into the new year, folks.

I

Get up I miss belly on the side, I don't want always what's left

No, sweet cheeks and leading us

Is all will ever trust ya know. I don't always would

Three stance through the highways so my shadow through the sunrays

Along the way melodies we haven't played I don't wanna know

Around these walls

Through the wastelands through the highways so my shadow to the sun rays and

We go
