Hi, my name is Stephanie and today I wanted to talk to you about why autism

does not define me. On this channel, I talk a lot about high-functioning autism

and I talk about a lot of the different aspects to do with autism to bring

understanding and awareness, and I also like to focus on the positive parts of

autism. However, autism by no means defines me. I

was talking to someone after I had first received my diagnosis and they had

mentioned how a mutual friend of ours on Facebook had the word "disability" right

underneath their name. So, it's a profile picture, their name, and the word

"disability." They probably put it in as their job or whatnot for Facebook, but it

seemed like the very third thing that they wanted someone to know about them

was that they were on disability or that they were disabled. And they asked me,

would you put autistic or autism there for you and I said no. Why? Because autism

does not define me. It is very much a part of me. It's part of what makes me

unique. It affects my personality. It affects what I do and how I react to

things, but yet it still is not what defines me.

Then what does? My job? My personality type? My education? While these things are

part of me, I'm not only an INFJ or only on the spectrum. I'm not just defined by

a list of strengths and weaknesses. I think it's especially important for us

to keep this in mind. While an autism diagnosis definitely helped me in

opening doors for help and understanding and making sense of things, I will not be

solely defined by what some people consider a disability. While others may

find that they are defined by other things,

I am defined by Christ. I am uniquely created by God's hand. I am this way and

the many things that make me who I am because of Him, and the things that I

think I can't do, He's going to let me know that I can

find success and be able to overcome those things through Him. And at the end

of the day, I just want to be a vessel that He's able to use to reach others.

Now, for those of you who don't believe in God, while I personally believe that

He's the one who should be defining you, I want you to remember that a diagnosis -

autism, whatever - one thing does not define who you are. A lot of people end

up limited and they say, well, because of autism, or because of whatever it is, I

can't do such-and-such, or I can only do this. And we kind of put ourselves in

this little box. I want you to remember that you are not defined by a diagnosis or

by a job role or any of those sorts of things.

while autism or whatever it is for you is definitely a part of you and might even

be important to you, it is not all that defines you. Thank you so much for

He's also an IGL, which plays a big part.

If we're talking about some young players,

they know a lot about micro, but aren't really good at macro.

They might not be, I mean.

But I've got no chance against him.

Kirill, do you listen to what Lesha says about some in-game things?

Yeah, of course.

Of course I do.

I might not perceive it or use it,

but I've got no choice but to listen.

He can't not listen.

I have to listen to him.

I do actually listen to what he's got to say.

Even if he doesn't know about it.

Who has fewer days off?

That's me for sure.

Every day is a day off for you.

You just sit there, playing Quake and browsing PrivatBank.

I think that playing CS is basically a day off.

Who's had the funniest esports-related situation?

He is about to tell something.

One situation that we've had together.

We can tell about us going to a bootcamp,

to a one-week bootcamp in Moscow,

with just a pair of socks, or we didn't take even socks, did we?

It's not an embarrassing story though.

We need to tell them something.

Let's tell them about the level 95 mage.

The level 95 mage?

Okay.

It's our story.

Yeah, it really is.

There's a story.

We had a tournament in Dnipropetrovsk.

We were in PiNG then.

Yeah, it was our first tournament for PiNG.

And it took place in Dnipropetrovsk.

And one of my close friends happened to have a birthday.

Just on the day when we were leaving Kyiv.

And one of Lesha's friends was celebrating something too.

And it's two separate events.

I was drinking with my friends.

And Lesha was drinking with his friends.

So we went to the train station.

We were young and drunk.

And two of my friends from the place where we were celebrating went to Dnipropetrovsk with us.

And they weren't even going to go there.

We went on drinking there.

A lot of drinking.

We happened to be at the entrance hall.

Drunk.

Drinking beer.

And then a conductor came in,

and she was like,

"What are you doing here?

That's enough. It's late. It's 3 in the morning."

And I didn't even remember this, I was told about this later.

And I told her that I was a level 95 mage and I didn't give a damn.

And then she left.

We started singing.

And the best part is that at the beginning, when we were just leaving the train station,

I was looking through a window at Lesha running...

When the train was already moving.

The train was already going, and Lesha was running after it.

And this is where my part of the story begins.

It was late in the evening, we were celebrating something.

I had a ticker for the train,

I went to the train station, and everything seemed fine at first.

But at the moment when I was on the platform,

the train started going,

and he's just looking at me through a window,

and that's it.

I missed that train.

I had to buy another ticket because the tournament was in the morning.

I bought a new ticket.

And I thought I needed to sell my previous ticket,

I was as drunk as he was,

a level 95-ish mage as well,

so I went there, sold my ticket, waited for another 30 minutes or so,

and the next train was in about an hour,

I looked at the ticket to see the exact time of the departure.

Because I forgot.

And I see that my train had already departed,

and I couldn't figure out what was going on, since I literally had just bought the ticket.

And the train was supposed to be in an hour, and only half an hour had passed,

and it was already gone.

And then I realized that I bought a new ticket,

then I sold it,

and the one I had was the old ticket.

So I had to go buy another ticket,

but we made it in time for the tournament; I don't remember how we played though.

Badly.

I think he was just shaking like this.

Like an alcoholic.

I was top fragging, I have this game saved somewhere.

I was top fragging as a level 95 mage.

We lost on Nuke in the first round,

I don't remember against who.

I was destroying them.

After the game I was like, "What happened guys? I was killing them so easily, why couldn't you?"

Drinking is bad.

It was mistakes of our youth, it was ten years ago.

Who's better when it comes to finding young and talented players?

He thinks that it's him, doesn't he?

Lesha can be texting me sometimes, "Listen, did you see this guy? Did you see that guy?"

And he's like listing fifty guys,

and then five of them blew up,

and he's like, "Oh, remember I told you about him and you didn't listen?"

I'm always right.

It's like guessing ten players.

Remember that plan?

And he does the same thing with the players.

Quantity over quality.

2018 is already gone

Today is December 31th, 2018

Only a day left before 2019

There is one thing that I always buy before new year is coming,

It is, The New Diary!

I do like to write down all of things that I did on a day

I write 0 to 24 and the things that I need to do on each time

and have a lot of fun when keeping the plan as well

Every night, I write what I really did during day time

and check If I lived well as I planned or not

also make plans for tomorrow and re-check what is the important things I should do tomorrow

After setting plan, I am trying to keep it up as well

Also I write a diary everyday

So Before 2019 is coming, I needed to buy something

Guess what? - A New Dairy for me(a very picky girl)

So I bought one

Tara! I got it for 2019

Why did I get this diary? There are several reasons

1. I was looking for a daily diary with enough space to write a long diary

See, I found out the right one! Daily + Enough space for LONG writing

Actually my 2018's diary was almost same with this one

The reason why I chose this one, not that one is

that It is much better on details -Pen holder, and bookmark stickers....

When I saw those details, I could't help buying it

I thought about what I did on 2018 and wrote down all

There are some good things and also regretful things

I checked what I have done for 2018,

There were some 1st experiences,

There were some that I wanted to fulfill in 2018 but couldn't

So I reflected myself and made plans of what I wanna do in 2019

I am such a planning worm

We are in front of the start line of 2019

Why don't you make the list of 'What You Wanna Achieve In 2019'?

When reading planning list regularly, We can check ourself If we are on the way to make it come true or not

I really wanna do 15things in 2019

Why just 15? I will think more and make more on the first week of 2019

What are in my '2019 goals list'? I will tell you several things.

One of them is- Uploading more than 2videos on YouTube everyweek

I am crazy for something NEW

Seeing, Doing something that I have never done before! I DO LOVE THAT

So I am planning to try various new things in 2019

One more thing is - I do wanna go traveling abroad!

I think in my life, I didn't really go aboard just for traveling

Always I went to other countries when I had something to do as a business trip

Working first, Touring around then Getting back to Korea

I wanna go abroad this year with pretty meaningful work

Why? Because that's so new and fresh!

Yes!

There are some exams in 2019 that I am preparing for

So I also have some plans for them

Another goal! - Learning new language

Actually I suddenly wanted to learn Chinese in 2018

So I took Chinese classes on the 2rd semester in 2018

It was such a challenge to me

I took classes for 3months, 15times, So now I know a little bit of Chinese

The intonation is the hardest one to me

The Pronunciation is somehow okay but that intonation is killing me

What can I speak in Chinese after 15times classes? Just a little bit...

"Hi"

"Thanks"

Everybody knows them and I already did before taking classes

I can speak more but I think I sound funny to Chinese

I am going to take more Chinese classes in 2019

and wanna take Chinese Language Test-HSK

What level? hmmmm.... 3? I can.... or too much..... I

You know? Because when you set too high goal, You can lose interest easily

and There are much more subjects that I need to study, so.... My goal is- Getting good grade + HSK Level 2

That is my Small Chinese goal for 2019

Except those 3things, There are a lot more things on my list

You could also think and write down what you wanna do in 2019

Of course there can be some that you have doubts on

or Traveling plan like go somewhere, see something new and learn from it

Or making good result in job, studying, hobbies and so on

Or Putting more effort to keep your health as well

Let's set goals and work hard to make them come true in 2019 together!

I am going to start 2019 well with this lovely diary

There is one thing that I feel bad about! This diary is from 2018 December to 2019 December

Just as my last diary- It has Dec 2017 to Dec 2018

So I bought new one around New Year's Eve....

and What? It has 2018 DECEMBER?!

So, The part of 2018 Dec on new diary is just empty...

No, I am not sad. I will write well from now!

I wrote down 'What I wanted to achieve in 2018', 'What I regret in 2018', 'What I wanna do in 2019' on this diary

and I am reading what I wrote everyday....
