Emiliano Sala may be ALIVE on raft boat or picked up by SHIP - police reveal four theories - Duration: 3:38.

Sala, who signed for Cardiff on Saturday, was on board a private jet heading to Wales, which disappeared from radar on Monday night

A search and rescue operation, which included multiple air and sea assets from the Channel Islands, UK and France, was suspended for the day at 5pm on Tuesday night

On resumption this morning, Guernsey Police announced they were searching a targeted area

And in a further update at 9.30am, Guernsey Police confirmed that they are conducting that search based on four possibilities

The update read: "We are searching based on four possibilities: 1. They have landed elsewhere but not made contact

"2. They landed on water, have been picked up by a passing ship but not made contact

"3. They landed on water and made it into the life raft we know was on board. "4

The aircraft broke up on contact with the water, leaving them in the sea. "Our search area is prioritised on the life raft option

More updates as information becomes available." The increased activity comes after a WhatsApp voice message from Sala emerged telling friends he was "getting scared" and "aboard a plane that seems like it is falling to pieces"

Sala says: "Hello, little brothers, how are you crazy people? "Brother, I'm dead, I was here in Nantes doing things, things, things, things and things, and it never stops, it never stops, it never stops

"I'm here on a plane that looks like it's about to fall apart, and I'm going to Cardiff, crazy, tomorrow we already start, and in the afternoon we start training, boys, in my new team… "Let's see what happens, so, how are you brothers and sisters, all right?  "If in an hour and a half you have no news from me, I don't know if they are going to send someone to look for me because they cannot find me, but you know … Dad, how scared am I!" Sala was supposed to begin training with his new team-mates at Cardiff yesterday after sealing his £15m, club record, transfer over the weekend

Cardiff City CEO Ken Choo said: "We were very shocked upon hearing the news that the plane had gone missing

We expected Emiliano to arrive last night into Cardiff and today was due to be his first day with the team

"Our owner, Tan Sri Vincent Tan, and chairman, Mehmet Dalman, are all very distressed about the situation

"We made the decision first thing this morning to call off training with the thoughts of the squad, management staff and the entire Club with Emiliano and the pilot

"All of us at Cardiff City FC would like to thank our fans, and the entire footballing family for their support at this difficult time

We continue to pray for positive news."

Pretty Good or Really Good? 🤔 How to Use Intensifiers in American English - Duration: 10:08.

I'm pretty sure you're going to find this video really interesting.

We're going to talk about a fairly challenging subject which many non-native speakers find

very confusing.

If you're not really that confident using intensifiers like the ones I just mentioned,

this video will be pretty helpful.

In this video, we're going to discuss intensifiers, which are extremely common in everyday, natural

speech.

We'll also talk about how to stress intensifiers and how we can clarify what we mean by using

different intonation patterns.

First things first, what are intensifiers?

Intensifiers are adverbs that we add to adjectives or other adverbs in order to make them stronger

or more intense.

However, some intensifiers actually weaken or limit the adjective or adverb, which we'll

talk about in just a moment.

Intensifiers can add more clarity or specificity to your meaning when you use certain adjectives

or adverbs.

In writing, you probably want to choose a more precise word, but we're talking about

how people use intensifiers in everyday speech.

That's why we'll focus on common adjectives that you probably use on a regular basis.

Before we get started, a quick note about stress.

Because these are intensifiers and they add additional meaning, we tend to stress them

in order to really emphasize that we are strengthening or weakening the adjective or adverb.

You'll see what I mean when we start looking at the examples.

Let's start by identifying the middle of the range, which is the adjective or adverb all

by itself.

This game is easy.

That movie was good.

The news is exciting.

The book is interesting.

In these examples, we're using the dictionary definition of these adjectives.

If we want to strengthen the adjective, we add the word "really."

This game is really easy.

That movie was really good.

The news is really exciting.

The book is really interesting.

"Really" is a more natural way to say "very," and you'll hear it all the time when listening

to native speakers.

As you can hear, we tend to stress the intensifier in order to express a stronger emotion or

feeling.

This game is really easy.

That movie was really good.

I'm really tired.

The test was really difficult.

Of course, you can use the word "very" to intensify the adjective.

I would say this is a degree stronger than "really."

The news is very exciting.

The book is very interesting.

We're very happy.

They'll be finished very soon.

In natural speech, you'll often hear people substitute the word "so" for "very."

We stress the word "so" by making it longer, louder, and higher in pitch, and really holding

that vowel sound.

We're so happy.

This book is so interesting.

I'm so tired.

That's so exciting.

For an even stronger version, you can add the word "extremely."

We're extremely busy.

That test was extremely difficult.

The problem is extremely complicated.

I'm extremely tired.

Instead of using the word "extremely," people may choose a stronger, more intense adjective.

For example, instead of saying "I'm extremely tired," I would probably say "I'm exhausted."

I might say "That test was impossible" instead of saying "extremely difficult."

Beyond that, you'll start to notice that certain intensifiers are more common with certain

adjectives.

Pay attention to how native speakers use these intensifiers and which adjectives they choose

to emphasize how they feel.

This is why it's important to learn words in chunks.

Some adjectives aren't commonly used with certain intensifiers, even if grammatically

it makes sense.

To sound natural, you have to listen carefully and pay attention to what you hear people

saying.

Now let's talk about intensifiers that weaken or lessen the strength of these adjectives.

Let's start with the word "pretty."

This is the word that is often most confusing for non-native speakers.

When we use "pretty" with an adjective, we're toning down the adjective.

The adjective by itself would be stronger.

The word "pretty" actually limits or weakens the adjective.

"Pretty" usually means somewhat, so-so, just about average, okay.

For example, if you say "That movie was pretty good," you're saying "It's okay."

You're basically expressing a noncommittal attitude.

You're either hesitating about giving a negative opinion, or you're just not interested in

being too enthusiastic.

If you're trying to give someone a compliment, saying that it's "pretty good" can actually

make them feel like they could have done better.

If you say, "I'm pretty happy," it can sound like you're not 100 percent certain that you're

actually happy.

Same thing with "I'm pretty sure this is the right way."

This doesn't make me feel confident that you know this is the right way.

If I say something is "pretty common," it may not be that common.

Of course, context matters, and your intonation will help clarify your meaning.

There's a big difference between saying "That's pretty good..." with intonation that expresses

hesitation, or "That's pretty good!" with intonation that expresses more enthusiasm.

On top of that, this word is tricky because we often use "pretty" for effect in order

to understate or downplay how we actually feel.

If you say "That test was pretty easy," you may be trying not to insult the person who

made the test by saying something like "That test was ridiculously easy."

Or you may not want to make the other person feel bad if they thought the test was difficult.

If you've just given someone amazing news and they say, "That's pretty exciting" with

a big smile on their face, they're probably understating how they actually feel.

Maybe they don't want to show off how they feel because someone else might feel bad,

or they're making a joke because we both know that they actually feel overjoyed.

Or if someone says to me, "Wow, you must be exhausted after all of that travel," and I

respond, "Yeah, I'm pretty tired," I'm basically restating the obvious and downplaying how

tired I actually feel.

If you hear someone use "pretty" in this way, consider all of the other information you

got during the conversation to interpret what they mean.

For example, when we add "pretty" for effect, it will sound something like this: That's

pretty cool.

That's pretty interesting.

That's pretty exciting.

As you can hear, my intonation is different than the versions where I'm hesitating.

That's pretty good.

I'm pretty sure.

That's pretty difficult.

Once again, intonation matters.

We often use the word "kinda," the reduction of "kind of," as well as the word "sorta,"

the reduction of "sort of" in casual speech in order to express the same meaning as "pretty."

But I want you to remember that these words aren't very precise, and they sound a little

noncommittal.

You want to use them in appropriate situations, probably not in professional or academic situations,

and definitely not in writing.

Next, let's move another step down and talk about the word "fairly."

You'll hear "fairly" from time to time, although I think the other intensifiers are more common.

Fairly also means so-so or somewhat and limits the adjective.

We often use the word "fairly" when we don't want to scare the person.

It's an example of hedging, or when you don't want to state how you feel directly for whatever

reason.

For example, you might say: The test was fairly difficult.

Or the problem is fairly complicated.

Or I'm fairly certain that we're going to finish on time.

I think "fairly" sounds a little more formal than "pretty," so you'll probably hear it

in more professional situations.

The last intensifier that we're going to look at is "not really."

We often use "not really" followed by "that" to weaken the adjective even further.

Let's look at some examples.

I'm not really sure.

They're not really happy.

That movie is not really that good.

This book is not really that interesting.

Once again, you can hear that my intonation is showing a less intense emotion.

Basically I'm expressing the opposite of the original adjective.

If I felt enthusiastic about my opinion, I would say "This book is really interesting."

But because I don't feel that enthusiastic, I say, "This book is not really that interesting."

I can show that I'm a little bored with my intonation.

This book is not really that interesting.

As you can see, intensifiers are a powerful way to add additional meaning to your adjectives,

especially when you use them with the right intonation.

Let's review the intensifiers we talked about today from weakest to strongest: not really

or not really that, fairly, pretty, the adjective by itself, really, very, and extremely.

Of course, there are many more intensifiers that you'll hear people using.

Try to identify how the person feels by paying attention to the context and the emotion they're

expressing through their intonation.

Notice which intensifiers you hear with particular adjectives and take notes.

There aren't any strict rules, but you'll start to notice patterns that will help you

use them more naturally.

Here are a few more examples: We're absolutely thrilled.

The meal was completely ruined.

He was seriously injured.

The campaign was highly successful.

You can always search Google to check and see if these adjectives are commonly used

together.

Here's a trick: put the words together inside quotation marks.

This tells Google that you want to look for the two words together.

And remember, be careful about how you use pretty when giving someone a compliment.

Be sure to choose the intensifier that best expresses your meaning.

For more practice, try using one or more of these intensifiers in an example in the comments.

I'll be sure to let you know how you did.

the boy beat | yay or go away? - Duration: 2:43.

What is up everybody?

I'm coming to you bare-faced

Looking slightly

busted because of my top knot but just ignore that for the moment. The first step that I decided to do in this boy beat

is eyebrows. Based on what I've heard and what I've seen the boy beat has bushier eyebrows because you know boy beat

So I wanted to make it a little bit more bushy. And because I don't have my usual brow pencil

I thought it was gonna be a little bit more easy since it's a little browner. It's a little bit more natural

I thought I wasn't gonna conceal to correct it, but I ended up doing that anyway

Because otherwise, it was just looking a little too messy for my liking

Next I go in with some color corrector

I didn't think I was even gonna color correct either

But I had to do it because I just cannot deal with the darkness under my eyes. I concealed afterwards and then I blended it

out

At this point, I was rethinking my decision to do this boy beat because it was looking a little ratchet

Next I went in with my contour based on what I've heard

The boy beat is supposed to be a little bit more angular and not focus on the natural softness of your face

but more so the structure of it

I contoured in all the places I would normally contour if I was wearing foundation

It just felt super weird to contour without a base on but I did it anyway

This may never be posted. And then I went with some highlighter. To be honest

I feel like the highlighter rescued to look a little bit

I used the NYX butter gloss and then sprayed my face

Yeah, this is ugly.

I've never been more disgusted in my life.

It doesn't look super ugly in the mirror but I look busted as hell in this camera.

This is what y'all hyping up?

No me gusta.

I'm offended. I decided to come outside and wrap this up over here

Hmm it doesn't look super ugly

Inside the lighting and made it look super

Ugly in my opinion. This is the boy beat. This was my interpretation of it

I read about it on Yahoo News because someone had linked it Nyma Tang's

video of the boy beat and basically my interpretation was that it was kind of a

No makeup makeup look

But at the same time it was--it kind of displayed more so an angular look to your makeup

Which is why I did way more contour. I don't know if you can even see that

I contoured a good amount. But this is basically how it came out. Look at my little top knot

Love Is God Or Dog Is Love? - Duration: 5:12.

We're very cruel people we are alive only because of these vaccinations and

these medicines anything many of us would have died for small things in the

past small things today at least 60% of us here because of modern medicine you

cannot deny that and it's a cruel process very cruel

it's cruel no not egregious it's cruel to this creature also now the question

is only this are you doing this consciously or mentally

consciously if you do it you will do it only to the extent it's necessary if you

do it unconsciously compulsively or when gently you will do it to the extent it

is completely unnecessary

and

my humble opinion would be we must keep it with some kind of practical limits if

you don't give this limit what happens what is the outcome of that will not be

necessarily very pleasant now the question is only shall we keep it within

what we think there is no idea what we think is a practical limit or shall we

just let it explode upon us it is important that every generation looks at

what is really needed what is not needed

human beings are capable of loud if they're below dog is capable of loud

when human beings fail you you get yourself a dog you get a dog 12 year

guarantee love affair you get yourself a dog everyday you come home what are

welcome with your wife she's no good one Hyundai is one one way your children

they're not even interested with you come home ago but your dog every day

what an excited welcome he gives you

nobody is capable of this isn't it

do not underestimate this

every day without fail he'll never show this interesting is such a boost for you

dog is loud for sure and it's just a spelling mistake

if your may do so have been such away nobody around here around you can love

you then the only sucker you have is

somebody must love you long distance from their unfortunate way to live

whenever people say we are only human they are always referring to their

limitations and the mistakes they are made of themselves we are definitely the

most comfortable generation ever but we cannot claim we're the most joyful we

cannot claim we're the most loving we cannot even claim we're the most

\f0\fs29\fsmilli14667 \cf2 \expnd0\expndtw0\kerning0 Hi everyone. In this video I'd like to answer

a question that I know I\'92ve addressed in other videos, and some people might feel that

it's pretty basic, especially if you had some training before. But it continues to be the

question that I get asked most often, and the question is this. \'93When I'm speaking,

should I breathe through my mouth or through my nose? The short answer is, for speaking

you should always breathe through your mouth. For the rest of your life you should breathe

through your nose. First of all let me say this. Breathing through your nose is a healthy

and polite thing to do so keep doing that. Your nose is there for a reason. It\'92s a

really amazing organ. When you inhale through your nose, the air is in your nasal passages

for about one fourth of a second. In that brief of time, the air is filtered. Particles

down to the size of five microns are removed that's five one thousandths of a millimetre.

Pretty small. Second, air is brought up almost to body temperature when you're breathing

through your nose, in that one fourth of a second. And in that short amount of time air

is humidified. That\'92s pretty amazing. In that one fourth of a second, air is filtered,

it\'92s brought up to body temperature and it's humidified. So there's a good reason

to breathe in through your nose; it's a healthy thing to do. Your nose is there for a reason;

you want to use it. When you speak, you need to get quantities of air fairly quickly, and

your nostrils aren't large enough to accommodate that process. It would slow things down too

much. So the vast majority of people are already breathing through their mouths when they speak

because that\'92s what works. And besides, if you really did breath through your nose,

when you\'92re speaking, it would sound something like this. [Sniff] \'93Hi, my name\'92s Jay

Miller, and I\'92m a voice and speech coach. [Sniff] I spend a lot of time teaching people

how to breathe. [Sniff] Most people breathe through their nose.\'94 It just looks weird.

Another reason to breathe through your mouth when you speak is that the act of taking air

in through your mouth has a way of pre-opening the channel that you\'92re going to use when

you speak out. Breathing in through your nose passage, before you speak, means that you

have to open up a different passage, through the mouth, when you\'92re actually speaking.

So when you take a breath in through your mouth, as you prepare to speak, that channel

is already opened up by the breath and ready for you to use when you speak out. So just

to recap, when you\'92re speaking, and when you\'92re doing your voice practice, you\'92re

always breathing through your mouth. For the rest of your daily activities you\'92re breathing

through your nose. The reasons for breathing through your mouth when you speak: One, it\'92s

what works. It\'92s the most effective way of taking air into your body, for speech.

Two, it\'92s what looks normal, if I can use that word. And three, taking breath in through

your mouth tends to open up the channel that you\'92re going to use for sound. So breathe

through your mouth when you\'92re speaking. Breathe through your nose in the rest of your

daily activities. I hope this clarifies a very common question, and I\'92ll see you

in the next video. \f1\fs24 \

How To Price Your Services Or Products - Duration: 12:00.

Welcome back. We're talking about how to price your products or services. We've

got Emily London Miller here. And the conversation that we're going to have in

this video is going to make this process a lot easier for you. Before we hit

record on the camera, we are having a conversation about the hierarchy of

value. And I think that's a good place for us to start. You know, it's a little

bit different. Value is different necessarily from the price that we

charge. But let's talk about that first. What is this hierarchy value? Where did

you hear it from? -Okay. So, I found it online. It was like an article I think

even on Wikipedia. -We don't know the exact source. -Yeah. But I mean I literally

think if you just search hierarchy of value. I'm pretty sure that's what it's

called or something to that effect, you can find it. They also turned it into a

book. And I haven't read the book. Just from what I gained from the article. It's

basically this concept of that people are willing to spend certain amounts for

certain types of products or services or goods, okay? So, the article kind of starts

by saying, you know, the bottom tier what people are willing to spend the least on

our commodities. And they used in that article coffee beans as the commodity

that they're they're using this example. -It could be lumber, it could be cotton. It

could be... -Pictures. So, in my case, I'm a photographer, right? And I have an iPhone

that takes tons of pictures, right? So, pictures are worth very, very little at

the end of the day, okay? So then at the next level up where

you're willing to spend a little bit more. Let's say for example, per cup of

coffee is on a can of Folgers coffee or whatever brand it is that you buy but

it's a branded product at this point. So, it's product at this next level of them.

Okay? And in my case, maybe that's like an Emily London portrait, okay? So, it's still

at the bottom of the hierarchy really when it comes down to it. Even though

it's something that I captured or created for them.

Maybe it's the delivered photograph with you know printed and matted and all that. -Well, you

assume that there's a certain level of quality control when it comes

with a certain brand versus something else you just don't know. -Sure.

And you know what? I've had conversation with other photographers

where I'm trying to explain to them the conversation that they have with their

client is sometimes too focused on the lower-level stuff and not the higher

level things that are coming up. And so, what will happen is people get really

wrapped up and "Well, I only... I only give printed images. I'm not digital side. I'm

not at that level. You know, I wouldn't work with somebody who just wanted

digitals." And that's kind of putting the focus in the wrong place. -Okay. So, what's

the... What's the next level of product. -Okay. So the next level above product is

service. And I just want to back up and say really quickly all of these

foundational things are critical. They are essential to having the higher value

stuff as well. So, you have to have each of these locked in before you can really

be, you know, talking about the higher level stuff. So obviously they're

important. They're just not what you want to spend all of your time talking about.

So, the service level in the coffee example is like when you're at a cafe

And you order a cup of coffee. And the waitress is going to come around give you

coffee, keep it warm. She'll keep refilling your

coffee and you'll probably spend more for that cup than you would have spent

for your Folgers coffee. But it's maybe in the realm of a couple of bucks. Okay?

In my case, you know, that's when you're talking about a photographer who shows

up on time, who is clean, who makes you feel like

you're not in a physical danger. You know, that kind of level of service. They meet

with you when and where they say they will. That kind of stuff can be keeping

your commitments. -I like the restaurant example because I definitely recognize

I'm paying a lot more for that as a service for somebody else's doing the

cooking, the preparation for it or you know, even compared to just buying a

packaged product, I'm paying a lot more for that service. That makes sense.

Okay. Now, I think I'm guessing the next one is going to be experience or we go in

the right direction? -Yeah, exactly. -Some restaurants not just provide a

service where they hand you the food and it's provided in the environment but

it's like. "Oh, this is an experience and you're paying even more for that." -Yeah.

You'll find it at some restaurants and in fact, in the coffee example, they talk

a lot about Starbucks specifically in the article, okay? So, Starbucks when they

originate, $5 for a cup of coffee was a

little bit obscene, right? It was unheard of almost. And what they really focused

on with their baristas with training them was creating an environment where

you would have some kind of experience or a feeling. And so, they trained

them to be able to educate people about coffee if they aren't already very

familiar. They teach them to be maybe to banter and to play. Even one thing that

they tell them to do is to spell names wrong on the cup on purpose. Just because

it makes you laugh or it gives you a feeling of just being involved in

something like an inside joke. They also... If you think about what else you get

when you go to Starbucks, you'll get a feeling of maybe comfort if you're in a

foreign country and you find a Starbucks. It's like, "Oh, that's going to taste familiar

or that environment. I know what to expect." Or maybe it'll even be a feeling

of prestige. You know, you can even buy the Starbucks coffee

you know, cups to take around with you and even put your own normal coffee in

it. But there's something about carrying a Starbucks coffee that gives you some

kind of a feeling or else you want to do it, right? So, anyway that's part of, you

know, in the experience situation. For me an experience is I want you to

feel important, I want you to feel seen beautiful and loved. And to feel like

you're the star for a day, right? So, that's kind of where... If we're really

focusing on what are the feelings that you're going to get, that's going

to be the answer to what the experience is. -So, I've experienced many different

photographers over the years had different experiences. I would have... I

would never categories to any of them and tell working with you as an

experience. The other ones, it's a service. I didn't really connect with the

photographer but I was just there to get a result. They were supposed to know how

to push the button on the camera and get this photo for us. But when I

had experience with you, first of all, it started before the photo shoot. Just

planning for it, talking about it. You gave me a lot of things to prepare for.

And I don't want to give secrets away about what comes after experience. But

you kind of talked about the purpose of what we're creating when we really

created that you in our mind. And then when I showed up

for it, the word that keeps coming to my mind is I felt pampered. I felt like

everyone... You have a whole... You have a whole crew and the whole crew was

there paying attention to me. Making sure that I was comfortable, that I

felt great and that I was taken care of.

And it was wonderful whole time. So. I... That's a really cool thing. And

obviously, if people are paying for an experience versus a service, the price

point, you got to expect it could be a lot higher. -Yeah. And if you actually compare,

you know, where we went with coffee. I don't even know how much raw coffee

beans cost. Folgers kind of coffee per cup, it's probably less than a dollar, I

would guess. Probably several cents. The service at a restaurant maybe 2 bucks.

And then we're talking about Starbucks. $5 is more than double, okay?

So conceptually, you can get an idea of where we're going with value. It's more

than double, more than double, more the double. When we get to the next level, it

almost can become exponential. And the next level is transformation. So, in

the article, it kind of cuts off there. It says like, "There is no coffee

correlation with transportation." Yeah. And I kind of laughed because I had just

watched a documentary on Netflix called barista. And it's... This incredible like

hour-long look inside the National Barista Championships where... I don't know

how much they spend to like become a contender. But it's I think over 100

bucks, right? To be considered. And what they do is they have like a year to

prepare their coffee. And it's like they're going to find their beans and

they're brewing method and then not even... Not even that but like what kind of cups

they're going to put them in and then how they're going to like perform making

the coffee for the judges. And it's... It's so to the point of like if you drip, you

lose points and like... It's so at this next level that you are really competing

for the opportunity to become the best at what you do. Which I would say if

that's not a transformation, I don't know what is. So for me at that point, you know,

it's like, "Oh, no, no, there's definitely a coffee version of transformation." And

I laughed you know at the barista that I was like, "This inspired me like I

wanted to become a barista." We're watching this this you know documentary.

And so it had a profound effect on not just the people who are contending but

more people watching it. At any rate, I would say that in my industry, a

transformation, you know, if I'm going to offer my clients a transformation,

obviously, there's a physical transformation component because I do

the before-and-afters and we've got the hair and makeup and all of that. You know,

bringing you out beautiful. You know, your beauty out. But there's also the

emotional and maybe even spiritual transformation that I really focus on

with my clients. So, you know, you kind of touched on that before where we kind

of get clear on, you know, how do you want... In your case, you were doing your photo

shoot for branding, right? So, how do you want your clients to see you? Who do they

who do you want them to meet when they're looking at your portraits? Kind

of getting clear on what are the different aspects of yourself that you

want to come through? And maybe some of those aspects, you're already really

comfortable and confident in and proud of. And maybe some of those aspects are

parts of you that you're growing into. That you're not super familiar with yet,

that you're wanting to become to next level into. And so, I often invite my

clients to think about those sides of themselves as well so that we can

capture those sides in, you know, proof and show them. And say, "Here's that side

of you." And then it gives them this feeling of being able to channel into

that aspect of themself. A lot of my clients even it's not a new thing that

they're growing into. It's like a past thing that they've lost touch with. A lot

of my clients are moms... And you know, raising kids kind of puts you in a

survival mode that shuts down parts of yourself. And so when I talk to them

about I want to help you reconnect to those parts of yourself. That's an

opportunity that's almost spiritual in its, you know, how personal it is and how

emotional it can be. So, that's really what I spend most of my time talking

about when I talk to my clients before they book with me and they're not sure

how they feel about doing a photo shoot that cost as much as it does. That's

where I really, you know, this is what I'm going to do for you. -Right,

awesome. So, as you're thinking about how to

your products or your services or your experiences, it's going to be really helpful...

At least it's helpful for me to think about it in terms of this hierarchy. If

you're going to compare what's out there on the market, similar to what you do is

what you're looking at. Is it a commodity? Is it just a commodity? Or is it

actual product? Or is it you know, it's a service? And where do you sit? And if you

want your services to be a little bit higher or more elite, thinking about, "Okay.

Well, I'm going to provide an experience or I'm even going to... I'm providing a

transformation for my clients here." So, it's not necessarily direct answer on

exactly what you should price. What you're offering. But hopefully a good

framework. If you enjoyed this video, be sure to give it a thumbs up, both here on

YouTube. Or if you're watching this on LinkedIn, where can they find you, Emily?

If they want to find more about you and your photography? -So online, I'm at Emily

londonportraits.com and on Instagram at emilylondonportraits. -Awesome. We'll see you in

the next episode.

How Russians celebrate the Day of Russian Students, or St. Tatiana Day - Duration: 2:38.

Hello, my friends! My name is Tatiana. Welcome to my channel!

Today we continue to talk about Russian holidays. The next holiday is "The Day of Russian Students", or "Tatiana Day".

It is celebrated on January, 25. All students celebrate this holiday.

He coincided with Orthodox religious feast - the day of the Great Martyr Tatiana, who died for her faith

and who was later canonized by Russian Orthodox Church. She humbledly served God and helped sick people during her life.

On this day, January, 25, it is necessary to congratulate all your mates (girls and women) who have name Tatiana.

Don't forget about me! I will wait for your congratulations!

I can also give a small present for Tatiana.

The history of this event:

In 1755, on January, 25, Empress Elizabeth signed a decree, thanks to which the University was established in Moscow.

This was an important solution, which had of great importance not only for Moscow students, but also for the whole Russian science.

The church at the university was consecrated in honor of St. Tatiana, and people started believe she would be a patron of students.

Traditions: Traditionally, formal ceremonies with remunerations are organized

for students in educational institutions. And then students organise parties for themselves. This holiday is celebrated in Russia and Belarus.

If this information is useful for you, if you like this video, give me a like! Thank you! Bye!

How to Curl Synthetic Hair with Steam (Or, re-curl droopy styles!) - Duration: 4:22.

Do you have a curly or wavy piece

that looked amazing the second you took her outside

of the box, but after a few wears those curls

and waves drooped just a little bit?

For example this part in the front.

You can see it still has a little bit of wave to it,

but it's kind of getting closer

to the straight side versus a wave.

Today we are using steam to add some curls

and waves back into those pieces

to make them look a little closer to brand new.

Ready?

Let's go.

I'm using Jon Renau's steamer for this project.

It's a substantial piece and I like the fact

that unlike some cheaper models out there,

you don't have to use distilled water.

I also think the spout of this is amazing.

It's very small therefore you can concentrate the steam

exactly where you need it.

We're gonna make sure that we're winding the hair

around the roller in the direction

that the curl currently goes in.

It's really important.

Just use a T-pin to pin your foam roller to you canvas head

and we're ready to rock and roll.

Rolling the hair itself is not hard to do.

You're just again gonna go in the direction

that it's already trained in

and wrap the hair completely around the roller.

When we get to the ends we're gonna use our T-pins again

to help secure the hair to the foam roller.

I like to use one or two towards the ends.

One as we get kind of close to secure the bulk of the hair.

And another one with a piece

of either paper towel like I have here

or you can use a perm paper

to help the very end of the hair lay flat.

Continue pinning foam rollers to the canvas head

and rolling your hair around it to create a curl.

If your hair is very long

you might feel like you're winding the hair too tight

and the curl is going to be too much of a curly Q.

But don't worry we have a remedy for that later.

Next we're gonna use our steamer.

It only takes two or three minutes to warm up

so before you know it it's ready to go.

Make sure you direct the steam at the hair.

Avoid your fingers cause it's very hot

and get it from the left side, the right side,

and underneath the best that you can.

You can use your fingers or a comb

to smooth the curl over the foam roller as well

and do it on as many rollers as you have hair.

I know it's hard waiting,

but let the curl set for 12 to 24 hours.

Alright so we are back, it's day two.

I've let the curls set for just really under 24 hours.

So remember you want that curl to set for 12 to 24 hours

because it needs to completely cool,

it needs to completely dry,

and letting it just kinda sit for a bit lets it set,

so the curl is gonna last a little bit longer.

So I took one out and you can see how it looks.

See how it totally springed right back.

Okay, so what do you see that's obvious?

It's much more curly than the rest of the hair.

So what I'm gonna do is take this one out.

Carefully avoiding the pins.

This is kind of a dangerous job.

And show you how to lessen the strength of this curl

so that it more closely matches the beach waves

that we're going for.

Alright I decided to leave that in after all

because I wanna show you the side by side

between the beach curl

and the little bit more curly Q when we're done.

So what I'm gonna do is hold the beach curl down

just a little bit, stretching out the curl

and applying some steam.

And again we're gonna let that sit for at least a few hours.

Alright guys, so here is the finished result.

Both of these have been curled with a foam roller.

This one is fresh off the foam roller after steaming.

This one is off the foam roller

and then I pulled on it just a little bit

to loosen the curl and I applied steam to it again.

Just to give it a little bit more of a beachy vibe.

But you can see the different looks that you can create

with steam and some foam rollers.

So it's pretty simple.

I hope you guys found this helpful.

If you did please go ahead

and give this video a like and let me know.

And if you haven't subscribed yet, you can do that as well.

Hit the bell and you'll be notified

when I put out a new video.

Bye for now.

TMNT 2020 Movie Reboot. How Should The TURTLES Look? CGI or Suits? - Duration: 8:28.

Would somebody please tell me what the heck is going on around here

Well, relax April, it's just your ordinary, uh time travel equal mass displacement kind of thing

Okay, so let's get out of here

So a big topic I see when discussing the redo of the upcoming live-action Ninja Turtles movie reboot is

the look of the turtles

It's probably the number one thing people want to see the creators of the movie get right

But what is right

Different people grew up on so many different versions of the turtles all the different looks I have my preferences

Which I'll discuss

But I'd like to see down below in the comments what you guys

Think so feel free to leave your opinions down below as to what you think. The turtles should look like in the upcoming reboot

I feel it could really ignite some cool conversations and debate down below now

What should the turtles look like? The Michael Bay versions are the most recent live-action adaptation and those turtles

I will go more in depth on in my rise and fall of the TMNT

Designs series I have going on here on the channel if you haven't checked it out go check it out

but just a quick thought on those turtles is

That they just kind of seemed a little too giant and the faces were missing some charm to them

It's probably the best way I can put it in a summarized version. Not very memorable

And like I said, I'll go a little bit more in-depth on them in a future video. But yeah, definitely

the new turtles will have to look different than that now the

1990 trilogy had the turtles look changed throughout the trilogy in my opinion

They started off strong the second movie was

Ok, the headbands looked a little cleaner

Which I didn't like I liked how dirty they looked in that first one the faces of the turtles changed a bit

Which I also didn't like very much but it was ok

The third movie changed the look of the turtles altogether

although still in continuity with the first two movies

The first movie was the strongest

Of the bunch and arguably the strongest of the franchise when it comes to live-action adaptations of the Turtles now

There was only one other live adaptation of the Ninja Turtles

But it came in the form of a TV series and we don't speak about it anymore

It's never happened

It's universally agreed now

Where could the reboot pull inspiration from when it comes to the look of the Turtles?

In my opinion the anatomy and size of the 1990 movie turtles would be a good place to start. They looked great

Just nice details that those early Turtles had looked awesome

But inspiration could be pulled from elsewhere as well

The 2003 animation turtles had some similar aspects to the 1990 movie but some are different as well

That could be pulled for this reboot like the different shades of greens on the Turtles

although not too noticeable in the animation and more prevalent throughout the

Promotional material is a good way to go with the turtles design

This in live-action would be welcomed by the fanbase in my opinion

The 87 cartoon was also promoted this way and they have appeared a number of times this way in

Different toys and promotional material but not really in live-action if you think about it

I feel like it would be something different but familiar that we haven't seen before now another way to pull inspiration

For the look of the Turtles could be from the comics

Now the look of the turtles kind of evolves as different runs of different series go on

But a few examples to pull from would be something like from the IDW comics more recently

the turtles have been portrayed with bandages here and there which the 2012 series kind of did as well so it'd kind of be

Inspiration from them as well

Also, the comics turtles have some utility pouches here and there on their belts

Which is a nice touch there have been figures that have come out that I've shown on this channel that display similar

types of pouches on the belts as well

in fact

These Turtles kind of represent for the most part my ideal

look of

What a new live-action into turtle should look like if you know they were to just want to go with something

Completely new that they haven't done before which seems to be the case. I don't think they're gonna do the 1990

Versions the exact same way again for a new movie, although I know I would like to see it

I know a lot of fans would as well

This is what I would like them to look like if they're going to decide just with a brand new look

Which more likely is gonna be the case. They have a little bit of everything. We just spoke about

Kind of like the 1990 version but a little bit like the 2003 as well

Some additions like the bandages and utility belts like the comics in the 2012 TV series

I've never thought that in live-action. I'd want to see like the different color

Elbow pads and knee pads, but it kind of works with this figure if done like this

It would be pretty awesome and that along with the initial belts would be a nice callback to the 87 cartoon as well

Which a lot of fans got their first taste of the turtles on a little bit from everywhere to make the perfect

TMNT cocktail would be cool to see now one final thing

I see touched on a lot when it comes to the look of the turtles is the question

CGI or

Practical people actors and suits with animatronic faces now this could get a little tricky to me

This is where I feel like there's very strong opinions

The 1990 movie showed that you could pull off a whole movie with practical suits

But there's so much you could do with CGI as well. I'm kind of conflicted when it comes to this to me

I think the best answer is a little bit of both

I think that you implement practical suits and some like close-up scenes and stuff and

Just kind of try to blend it a little bit with CG

I think the toughest thing I don't think really would be the action

I think the action you could get away with some CG. I think the toughest part is

close-ups of like the turtles talking like their mouths and their face expressions moving I this is where I am truly

Stumped whether I would like to see you know, the animatronic face is talking or a really good CG

That's where I'm a little stumped when it comes to the turtles everything else

I feel like could be a blend of both practical and CG, but that's it. I mean I get asked from time to time

Why is the look of the turtles so important to me and I honestly don't know only thing I can say is

The day that first teaser comes out for this reboot the second the turtles get shown if the reaction is lukewarm

or split on the look of the turtles feel like that hinder the success of

the movie to some degree and we'll kill some of the hype which could have a ripple effect and

affect the performance of the movie and we could potentially not see any sequels and

There goes the turtles for the next few years and we have to wait again

I think the reveal of the turtles in that first teaser has to stick the landing

To get this reboot going on the right track, but that's just my opinion

Turtle fans. Let me know down below

How do you think the turtles should look in the upcoming live-action movie reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Would love to hear your thoughts, but that's it for this quick video
