What came first?

The egg or the Chicken.

This is a big question that is around for years, from the observation that all Chickens

hatch from eggs and all Chicken eggs are laid by Chickens.

Early scientists concluded that this was an infinite sequence with no true origin.

This question now give us a thinking whether the world had a beginning.

Darwinian principle state that species evolve overtime and that Chicken had ancestors that

were not Chickens.

Chickens are domesticated descendant of red jungle fowl and probably arose little more

than eight thousand years ago.

According to some philosophers, millions of years ago, there was a dinosaur, it looked

slightly Chicken like, but it had teeth and claws on its wings.

Overtime, this creature changed.

Its teeth, claws and wings disappeared.

It gained ability to fly, and then lost it again.

At no point did it become a Chicken.

Declaring that there is no such thing as Chicken.

This scientists further explained that the eggs we buy from stores come from a small

dinosaur that is still in the process of becoming what it will eventually become.

It is the first of its kind, and it is the last of its kind.

There was no first Chicken, there was no first egg, they are beast on the spectrum categorized

by we humans as Chicken.

But some scientists disagree on this theory.

Eggs have been around since fish evolved, long before birds in general and chickens.

Eventually, A bird that was like a chicken laid an egg, and a chicken hatched out of

it.

According to roman scholar plytarch, the endless cycle of chicken and egg suggested that the

world had always been exactly the same as it was, with no discreet beginning or ending.

But if they had understood that species of animal change over time, they might not have

been so worried about it.

According to roman scholar plytarch, the answer to this question is the egg.

According to researchers at warwick and sheffield universities, Chicken eggs rely on a specific

protein found in Chicken ovaries to form.

Basically, that means that any individual Chicken egg we see today had to have been

through a Chicken at some point, so this mean the Chicken was the first.

But looking at the concept of Chicken eggs in general, this researchers feel like the

egg is the solid winner.

Scientificaly speaking, eggs existed before chickens.

The oldest fossil of dinosaur eggs and embryos are about 190 million years ago.

Archaeopteryx fossils, which are the oldest generally accepted as birds, are around 150

million years ago, which means bird in general came after eggs in general.

It can also be true that eggs came first, when you narrow it down to chickens and the

specific egg from which they emerge.

At some point, some almost Chicken creature produced an egg containing a bird whose genetic

make up, due to some small mutation was fully chicken.

Chickens were domesticated, diverging from their wild counterparts seven thousand years

ago.

Sorry Mr or Mrs ENFP...I GOT NEWS FOR YOU - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 6:55.

I remember when I was first starting out in business I'd probably spend like 80%

of my time 90% of my time in my head avoiding things thinking about things

worrying about things you know I'd have a client I would need to email and I

would spend so much time basically procrastinating that and putting it off

and then thinking of excuses but then thinking oh it's been too long since

I've emailed them so I don't know if I should (*cough* ENFP Mistake *cough*) and I remember this the other day

I was reading a comment someone wrote and they were talking about how they had

got an email from someone and it was an important email and they started to

think about it so they didn't respond right away cuz I wanted to think about

it and then a few days went by and then it was like six days and so they didn't

want to respond because six days seemed rude so then they just didn't say

anything and someone else commented on their comment just saying yeah that's

called being a flake and it's kind of true

the reality is people will judge you by your actions the world does not care how

you feel it does not care what you think it cares about what you do now I say

that as someone who cares about what you feel when you don't email me back for

three days I probably know why if I know your personality type I probably

understand what's going on in your brain what's going on emotionally and

personally as an empathetic person I care and if you're one of my friend and

I know you're more introverted and maybe emotional and you skip one of my parties

I'm not judging you because I know probably what's going on in your head I

know maybe the pattern or the process that's going on with you and so I

totally understand that and yet I will still say this it's so critical to

realize ultimately the world judges you by your actions not your thoughts and

not your feelings and the reason that happens is that's all other people can

go by listen if I send you an email and you don't respond for a week because any

number of things are going on but you never tell me about those you never let

me into your world what am I supposed to do go up into my spaceship beam down

into your head read your emotional state no I'm gonna judge you as flaky or

unreliable and I got to be honest as much as I understand my fellow enfps and

are similar types like infps and as much as I have been the person who's been

flaky in the past who's been unreliable who hasn't gotten back to people by

email I totally empathize with you if that's your situation and I have zero

hostility but if I'm talking to someone about a partnership or working together

or even being their coach and I see that behavior I usually write them off

because ultimately that's what I have to go by with your behavior right if I'm

thinking about coaching someone I care about your ability to get results if I

work with you and you aren't able to follow through and you aren't able to

achieve what it is you want to achieve when you hire me that reflects on me but

more than that is it's frustrating because if I work with you I'm so

invested in your success that if you don't get there it's going to hurt me as

well and so even in my case someone who totally understands why people might not

respond to an email or skip an event or when people go through ups and downs and

highs and lows I totally understand that and even I ultimately come down to often

judging people by their actions and not even their words but especially not

their feelings so here's something that I found really interesting with myself

is when I started thinking this way more with myself I noticed a big difference

judging myself by my actions and not my feelings because if you

expect other people to judge you by your feelings or by what emotion you had and

not what you did you know you expect other people to excuse you skipping a

meeting or being late to something because of how you felt then you're

definitely going to expect that of yourself to write you're definitely

going to be really laid back with your own judgement of your own behavior like

I felt this way who cares whatever and what I found with myself is when I

started judging myself more by actions and just getting out of my own

head and saying you know talking to myself like a crazy person but saying

hey den shut up either do it or don't you know getting all Yoda on myself

right do or do not there is no try and just say to myself listen focus on the

action sometimes in the morning when I go off to a cafe to do some work I don't

want to go I would love to sit on the sofa and occasionally I do and I put off

going to the cafe but what I've learned to do is get out of my head get out of

the emotion and just say Dan put your shoes on and show up right just show up

and that's my takeaway for you here is my own experience I have found that

focusing on my actions and on showing up has allowed me to become a lot more

reliable and to be someone that people can count on and that's what I'm going

to leave you with is just show up if you have a meeting show up if you need to

respond to an email just send anything it doesn't have to be perfect it doesn't

have to be masterful just send a reply that's your email version of showing up

if you will and start looking at your actions and not your feelings and being

a little bit harder on yourself I'm not saying beat yourself up but look at what

you do and not what you feel and not what you think

or what even you say look at what you do and I have a feeling that when you start

looking at what you do you're going to start doing more and you're gonna lean

towards becoming more of the person you want to be and being someone that other

people can count on that other people respect and ultimately that other people

want to work with and spend their time with now that is just about as much

Stern father figure advice as I can give in a day so let's end the video there if

you're new to the channel by the way my name is Dan if I missed that in the

beginning this is dreams around the world and I publish new videos every

Sunday Tuesday and Thursday all about helping you become your best self and

creating the most awesome life for you and those you love and usually it's a

little more upbeat and positive but I had to play some bad cop here I think

it's a really important lesson in something that can make a huge

difference in your life thank you for watching do

Arsenal transfer news: Cascarino reckons Emery might not 'want' Aubameyang or Lacazette - Duration: 3:15.

However, Tony Cascarino has made a sensational claim that Unai Emery might not want the two stars in his Arsenal side

"I'm not sure about people like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, his goal record is fantastic, sensational at doing what he does, getting goals," Cascarino told talkSPORT

"Lacazette will get goals but I'm not sure they are the type of forwards Unai Emery will want

"He will want goalscorers plus guys that work. Whether they've got the funds to do that, that is another thing

" Former Chelsea striker Cascarino reckons that Arsenal boss Emery has several players in his current squad that he isn't keen on keeping

"There's a number of Arsenal players who know their future, long-term, isn't going to at the club if Unai Emery is the manager," Cascarino said

The ex-Republic of Ireland international also believes that Arsenal's squad is far from complete, and they'll need several new additions if they are to challenge at the top

"I think also defensively there are three or four defenders who will be looking over their shoulders," Cascarino added

Emery's squad has been struck by injuries this season, with both Laurent Koscielny and Sokratis going off during the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United

"Yes they had injuries before the game last night and during the game but they haven't got enough to be a Champions League challenging team to get in the top four with what they have got this season," Cascarino added

"Behind the scenes he may be saying we need six or seven players to make a massive difference to this team

"Whether the board will have enough funds to make that available is another question

" Former Arsenal midfielder Steve Sidwell has fumed at the transfer dealings of his former club after their FA Cup exit

"What is going on with Arsenal, first and foremost, is that the transfer policy is just outrageous," Sidwell told the Debate

"They have gone in to this stadium to generate money and compete with the top teams in this league and to go into this window and only getting loans is just, I mean it is just ridiculous

" Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League - with the Europa League now their only realistic chance of silverware this season

Never Become an Uber or Lyft Driver, Unless - Duration: 5:07.

rev up your engines, bot says hello, is it worth it to use your car for

uber or lyft to make money or is it wear and tear on your vehicle, it's a lot of

wear and tear on your vehicle, and it depends on how hard you want to go into

uber or lift to make serious money, cuz I use them all the time, flying around the

country, I don't drive anywhere I flying and I take ubers to the airport and

back and total hotels and to meetings or whatever, and I talk to some a lot of

uber drivers and I got customers here in Houston I work on the their cars that drive

ubers if you're a serious uber driver and you're

gonna put in a lot of time, go to places where you can make money and you got a good

personality people will tip you, you can make a reason to amount of money, but

you're just kind of doing it and thinking I want to try it, I talked to

people that did that and they told me that basically they were making less

than minimum wage when they included the wear and tear, the insurance, the money

they spent on gasoline, cuz you got to do it full-time to make any serious money,

and if you're only gonna do it a little you're not gonna make that much money on

it, you're probably gonna put more wear and tear on your car than you're ever

gonna get back from the little bit of money that you make, because it's just

not that profitable the thing unless you do it full-time iand really hustle, Yoji says

you should respond to more of the comments people leave you try, try hey

I'm ready working all the time, when I started doing as 10 years ago on YouTube,

well more than 10 now, 12 years ago now, I actually

answered every single question that people ask me, I spent a lot of time

actually I spend more time, now but I did answer any every question that people

ask me, but I now have over 450 million views, there's no way I could possibly react

to all those comments, that's why I do these

live car talks, so people get a chance to ask a question and have me answer it

live, I mean there's only one me and there's only 24 hours a day, so I can't

answer them all, it's physically and mentally impossible, Rick ap says will Mazdas

rotor engine ever make a comeback, well I kind of doubt it, it's already made a

couple of comebacks and they both failed,

the problem with rotary engines is their small and they put out a lot of power and

they can burn just about anything, I remember

when they first came out somebody ran one on

perfume, they can run on just about anything, but they get terrible gas

mileage and because of their design, they have like a triangular rotor system, so

the edge of each of the three triangle ends, the edges have rotor seals on them and

those apex seals go bad and they end up burning oil, so I doubt if it will ever

make a comeback, they were very hard to meet the anti pollution standards, they get

horrible gas mileage, everything that the governments are looking for they don't

do so, just says scotty I'm thinking about buying my mom a 72 Nova, what's

your thought on that car, here's the thing if

it's been done over and it's been restored, hey they were very reliable

cars in those days, they were nothing like the later Chevy Nova that was just

a rebadged Toyota Corolla that could run forever, but it was in the car that was

big for families and stuff like a nova that had room, the only thing you got it

realize is, okay if your mother's older she wants power steering and power brakes

make sure it has that on it, if it's been done over and

it's got power everything, go right ahead, hey their big cars if she puts a

seatbelt on it's a relatively safe car for driving around,

Sikorski says scotty I'm having problems with my 2002 Grand Prix Pontiac, the ABS light

is on and when I check it with a scan tool it shows

not available for all wheel sensors, it's

like the sensors are bad or the module it's not gonna say na, if the real

sensors are bad it will give you codes for the wheel sensors, it's saying

there's no data available, scan tools that do abs are relatively high level

scan tools, if you've got a cheaper scan tool, odds are the scan tool probably

just isn't working right, because I see that all the time,

I have probably 50 different scan tools here, I get them free from companies they

hope I use in my videos, and sometimes I gotta go through three or four of the

cheaper ones before I get one that'll read ABS data, where if i plug in my

$5,500 one, it immediately reads them, so you might just out of curiosity pay a guy

like me that has good equipment just to see what's going on with it, it could

just be that your scan tool isn't reading it, now if it's correct and

there's no data, odds are the module is going bad, Kowalski says

Scotty I want to buy an old Russian Lada what do you think, well it depends where

you live, they never sold them in the United States, so you'd have

one heck of a time trying to get parts for that lada, you know good luck in

finding parts for that lada, but they sold them in Canada and they can have some

parts, and if you live in Europe a lot of people sell parts for them, you know a lot

of people like those little cars they're

for cheap transportation they seem to be ok

they still make them some other company bought them, I think they might even be owned

by Renault now, but the old one seemed to be

pretty reliable from what people tell me so if you never want to miss another one

of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell!

Dalej będę frutarianką czy jednak nie...? - Duration: 16:05.

So who am I?

A fruitarian, raw vegan, vegan?

What is it all about?

I'm going to explain it all in this video.

Enjoy!

Hey everyone! It's Aga here.

If you don't know me yet,

on my channel I'm talking mostly about my diet,

about veganism, fruitarianism...

But also about living in the US,

about motherhood, pregnancy

so all of you will find something for you here,

I encourage you to subscribe to my channel

and come back to my channel.

If you don't know where I am,

I'm still in Costa Rica.

I'm in a place called Tanglewood Wellness Center.

I'll add a link to this center's website in the description

so you know what it's all about.

I'll also add a link to a video

in which I talked about this place

and why I came here.

While recording this video I'm still here

but when it gets published I'm already home.

I came here to undergo an over 20 day water fast

and today is my fifth day after I started refeeding.

And no, I still haven't gained my weight back

so I'm asking you for understanding.

Today I'd like to talk to you about

what I mentioned at the very beginning,

what it's all about, what labels are,

who I am, who's my daughter...

It's because I very often get comments saying that

you're not a fruitarian because you ate a tomato

or you're not a fruitarian because you had juice

with carrots in it...

And other like this.

So I though it's time to explain it all now.

And to tell you how I see this issue

and I hope it'll help you somehow.

I already told you in a different video

about what I think about labels.

I think that labels are...

definitely overused.

And that's why later you have problems like this.

Because if I say that

I eat mainly fruits

or I eat only fruits

or I don't eat meat or I don't eat dairy

then everything would be fine.

But if I say that I'm a vegetarian

or that I'm vegan and then let's say I eat

pizza that has a piece of cheese on it

then everyone will start remind me that

"you said you're vegan but you're not

because you ate a piece of cheese!"

So you see, people get a little bit too

attached to those labels,

they worry too much about them,

they worry about following them all the time,

if someone says yes I'm a vegan from today

and then by an accident eats something

like a piece of meat, totally accidentally somewhere

it just appears in a meal

or will eat a crepe in which there's an egg

because a mom made a mistake and used eggs

or really anything like this

there will be a mess because this person will hear

that she's lying, she's not vegan

So why to put any labels like this on yourself

and hold on to them as if you hold on for life.

I think it stresses people out too much

and everything seems to be so serious then.

Food and eating should be a pleasure,

it should be a healthy pleasure ;)

Something that we like and not something

that we have to do.

Because we need to live so to live we need to eat.

So we HAVE TO eat to survive and that's it

so that's why it's our unpleasant duty to eat this dinner.

If it comes to me and my family...

And by the way, you'll here some nature sounds here

because I'm in a beautiful place, well, life is life :)

So about me and my family!

If it comes to titles of my youtube videos,

I have to add some title to each one.

I have to write something

and it's good to keep it relatively short,

to have it pithy,

to make sure it gets people's attention,

depending on what it is.

To have people get interested in it,

to have them think "I want to watch this",

"this sounds interesting to me",

"I'll like this"...

"I'm curious about this, I don't know this"...

"I'll click on this because I don't know what it's about."

So it's also about getting as many peoeple's

as possible

so that the highest possible amount of them

will find out that there's

a better way of living,

better in my opinion,

that there's a way of living that

will give them health,

happiness and so on.

So I do have to add some title so that it will make sense

because I won't add a video without a title and that's

it's not even possible.

So this is one of the reasons [why I use labels in this case].

If it comes to definitions of those

two kinds of... vegetarianism...?

See, I don't even know how to call it.

I told you about them in a different video and

I'll link it in the description box too.

So take a look if you're still not sure what's what.

But remember that there's no such thing as a

firm definition

For example,

fruitarianism is a diet consisting of only OR mainly fruits

that allows eating lettuces,

spinach or romain lettuce let's say.

And that's not a problem.

And there will be people telling me that

I'm not a fruitarian because

I ate lettuce, for example.

So definitions vary.

Some people call fruitarians only those who eat

fruits that fell from trees by themselves only.

And unfortunately most of us live in climates

where it's not really possible.

So it'll be very rare.

It's also worth noticing that tomatoes, cucumbers,

bell peppers, avocado and even zucchini

are fruits, not vegetables, they're fruits.

But that's a different topic.

So we eat mostly fruits.

My daughter's diet is 99% a fruit diet.

My and my husband's too

but it happens that we eat something different.

It happens that I make a coconut tortilla let's say.

Some people say coconuts are fruits,

others say they're nuts...

I'll sometimes eat a cracker made of

nuts and seeds.

Some time ago I made a raw bread

made of some seeds and oats.

I took the recipe from Odmładzanie na surowo.

Those aren't fruits but does it mean that I can't

call myself a fruitarian because I ate something like this?

And we're back to labels :)

I don't want to stress about what I eat.

I don't want my diet, and by diet I meat my lifestyle

to be something that stresses me out,

that limits me in any way,

that makes me being forced to think about it all the time.

I eat what I like to eat and it just happened that

I feel like eating fruits the most.

So I eat them.

It's not that I force myself to eat them,

that I think oh no I have to eat this watermelon again,

or oh gosh strawberries for breakfast again!

Absolutely not!

I really enjoy eating what I eat

it makes me feel good,

that I feel better than before,

and this is absolutely not forcing myself.

So I don't want to look at this in a way that

if one day I think that

oh, like I told you a while ago in one of my videos,

that me and my husband went to a vegan restaurant

for our wedding anniversary.

And we ate cooked food

because they don't serve raw besides salads there.

Just because we felt like it,

it was our anniversary

and we thought we'd do something like this

because we just felt like it so we went there,

ate and that's it.

And does it mean I'm a bad, worse person?

That there's something wrong with me?

Absolutely not.

I felt like eating it so I did.

I feel my best when eating fruits, it's simple.

I have the highest energy,

in my opinion I look my best then,

my skin is the cleanest,

my teeth are the whitest...

I don't have any digestive issues and so on.

So that's why I eat the way I do,

because this way I feel the best.

Which doesn't mean I'm in some prison,

nobody forces me to do it,

I don't feel any responsibility

because of making videos on youtube

to eat this way even when I don't want to.

You know that if it happens that I eat

some wrap or something I do show it to you

if I make a video about what I eat that day.

And I don't have a problem with it even though

I sometimes get, let's say, beaten up ;)

And some time ago someone really had a huge issue

with the fact that my wrap (which was raw) also had

literally one teaspoon of couscous.

It was a tragedy that I ate a teaspoon of couscous.

Terrible!

So I'd like you to be relaxed about it too

not only to how I eat because, after all,

what I eat is my business,

but also to how you eat.

Of course there are some limits here

and I'm not going to say that everything is fine.

because it's definitely not in my opinion.

I think that a healthy diet

that a diet itself is a huge

thing, something very important in life.

But it can't be something that

prevents you from sleeping at night.

That you'll eat, let's say, a salad with mushrooms

and someone will tell you "oh you ate mushrooms

so you're not a fruitarian!"

and you won't be able to sleep because

someone told you that you can't eat mushrooms...

How our bodies work is that everything is connected.

Even if you think it's not...

it is, indeed.

Your digestive system, nervous system

is all connected.

Your immune system...

is very, very important.

The more stress and worry you have,

the worse and worse your immune system

will work.

And you don't want that because

it's there to protect you.

To help you heal

and prevent sicknesses.

Something like "oh god I'm vegan but I want..." whatever

or "I accidentally ate this..."

or "I'm a raw vegan

but I ate cooked carrots"

Don't beat yourself up for this

because you'll only get stressed out

and it just makes no sense.

I think so.

I think that there should be more relax in it all

Instead of beating each other up

support each other.

Because if you want to change a diet

from a traditional one, and I highly recommend this change,

to a veganism, fruitarianism, raw veganism

or however you want to call it

it sometimes requires some work.

Some focus, a lot of support sometimes.

Especially when we start having some detox symptoms.

And really, those comments like

you know when someone does something by an accident

or someone else will feel like eating a pizza

even though he's a fruitarian

and so he'll eat this pizza

and then he'll get comments from his colleagues

that what are you doing, how could you, you're lying!

Why?! You just bring each other down for no reason.

So this is a message I wanted to send to you

that I'm not in some kind of a prison

like some people think.

That I limit myself,

that I don't allow myself to have anything

Also, you saw that for my daughter's birthday

I made a cake

which was coconut cake and had no fruits in it.

So I'm not a fruitarian because I made a coconut cake :)

And it was delicious!!

Man, it was really, really good.

Take it easy :)

Instead of arguing with each other

who did something wrong,

who didn't fit into some norms,

who didn't match some label...

Who broke some "rule"...

Before you do that, take a look at yourself

and at how you eat,

how you put into your body,

how many drugs you take,

how processed the food you eat is...

And do that before you comment someone

who's trying

Someone who's changing something in his life,

who cares about health and life of his own kid.

And I'm not talking about myself only,

I'm not complaining in this video.

I just wanted to explain to you how I see it all,

how I see labels,

how it all looks from my perspective.

So yes, I'm a vegetarian because I don't eat meat.

I'm a vegan because I don't eat animal products

and I don't use animal products in anything I have in my house.

I'm a raw vegan because I eat raw.

I'm a fruitarian because

I mostly eat fruits.

So in general you can put me in each

one of those categories.

And I hope it'll make this situation clear for you.

And that there will be no such misunderstandings like

"who are you, Aga?!"

I'm Agnieszka, welcome :)

I'm a woman, a mother, a wife,

a friend...

And so on...

But I don't want to be stuck to one category

if it comes to food or drinks.

Or I'm a abstainer because I don't drink alcohol.

I don't smoke so...

I'm a non-smoker.

We can come up with tons of labels now.

So let's all take it easy!

I'll keep sharing with you my knowledge

that I keep gaining all the time.

My experiences that are still growing too

especially being here.

I'll keep sharing recipes,

and I have a lot of ideas :)

Advice how to do it all,

how to change your diet if you want to do so.

Why I think it's better and all that stuff.

I'll keep sharing all this

remembering at the same time

and also asking you to remember this as well

that each one of us has our own life

and we live the way we want

and the way we feel the best

And what others think about it...

why should we worry about it?

So yeah, I hope that

I made things a little more clear

and that this topic was interesting to you,

especially those who ask me about it often.

So that's it, I'm saying bye for now

and I'm going to make one more video now

so I'll look the same.

but that's ok, the nature is beautiful

so it doesn't change anything.

If you liked my video don't forget to subscribe

and click on the bell to get notifications

about new videos.

And I'll see you next time, bye!

Buy Now Or Later? - Duration: 0:59.

Real estate is never a short term investment right? it is true that this year we have a

lot of completed properties ... about 10000 units but if you look at 2022 and beyond that,

the completed units will be less than 5000 (or slightly more than 5000) and why is that

so?

because most of the completed units over the next few years is because of enbloc deals

so supply is going to be low from 2022 onwards and what happens when supply is low but the

demand is there?

prices is going to increase so right now as supply is high and that's where consumer is

able to get a better deal because developers are going to price the property more sensitive

so which is a better time to buy? in 2022 or 2019?

Laver, Cash, Moya and more predict if Nadal or Djokovic will eclipse Federer & become GOAT - Duration: 7:17.

Federer's record is under threat (Picture: FP/Getty Images) Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will battle it out for Australian Open glory on Sunday, with the two all-time greats set for a 53rd meeting

The title alone will surely be great motivation for the pair, who are among the most successful male players in history, but a fascinating subplot is the continuous pursuit of Roger Federer's Grand Slam haul

Many believe 37-year-old Federer will struggle to add to his 20-strong collection, particularly having fallen before the semi-finals of the last three majors he's contested, and with Djokovic and Nadal seemingly invincible, there will be opportunities for them to close the gap

All-time ATP Grand Slam champions  20 – Federer17 – Nadal14 – Djokovic  Nadal would move within two Slams of Federer should he defeat Djokovic in the Australian Open final, while the Serb – the youngest of the trio – can move to within two titles of Nadal and five of Federer

Advertisement Advertisement  Predicting who will end their careers as the greatest of all time (GOAT) is not easy, but a range of tennis legends gave their verdicts here in Melbourne on whether the pair can dethrone the Swiss

Mats Wilander Wilander believes one will catch Federer Getty Images) I would say one of them will catch Roger

I think one of them. The next 10 majors, I'd say eight of them will belong to either Rafa or Novak

It's possible this one makes a big difference but this surface is so different to the other surfaces they play the majors on so I don't know if the outcome of this is going to make a huge difference to the future

I doubt it.  I think both of them have pushed each other to the next level because of what Roger did in '17 and then last year here

I think they said "Ok, forget it. He's improving more than us" and now I don't see… I have a hard time seeing Roger beating them both in a Slam, maybe once he can beat one of them

And I have a very hard time seeing another player apart from Rafa and Novak is going to come out and win a major in the next two years

Will Nadal or Djokovic become the GOAT? (Picture: AFP/Getty Images) I have no idea [how many Roger needs to stay at the top]

Do I want Roger to stay on top? I'm not sure. I think everybody does but I don't really care

I think you want to see them improve the game and I think Federer did his bit going into '17 and they've all done their bit

Now it feels the responsibility to bring this sport forwards is taken by Novak and now it's taken on by Rafa and it's amazing how the three of them keep alternating

Advertisement Advertisement  One of the three always takes the opportunity to start winning again when another guy is out or not playing well

Obviously we've been very lucky. I'd be surprised if not Rafa or Novak reaches 20

The question is if Roger gets another two or three. Rod Laver Laver backed Djokovic (Picture: Getty Images) I think Federer has maybe got another Wimbledon in him, but he is battling a little bit

His age and strokes are not quite the same as they were two years ago. But he is still a force to be fought with

When you look at the others, Novak and Rafa, I would think Novak will certainly

When you look at his age, and form winning the last two, I would say Djokovic can eclipse Roger

Carlos Moya (Nadal's coach) Moya believes Nadal is motivated (Picture: Getty Images) If, too many ifs

Let's go match by match and see what happens then.  What keeps Rafa going is having the chance to evolve, improve and to win Slams

I cannot tell you if he wants 20 or 25 or 18. As long as he sees himself as one of the favourites, he's going to be motivated

But he's motivated, too, to improve and he's open to evolve. To be more aggressive, to learn, to listen

Lindsay Davenport Davenport expects both to catch the Swiss (Picture: Corbis via Getty) I think they still both have a good chance of catching Roger

I wouldn't bet against any of them doing it. Advertisement  I wouldn't say 20 is secure, if you looking at the next two years, you'd give the edge to Novak for winning the most majors, now can he win two, three or four a year?  Maybe it won't stay at that rate but I don't see him stopping until he has the lead or the body doesn't allow him play

It seems like a big goal for all of them, even if they play it down a little bit

Pat Cash Pat Cash had his say (Picture: Getty) I'm not sure these guys are that bothered about it, but for Roger it is really important to him to finish on top

He loves the records and I think that is why he has decided to play the clay-court season and get ready and be sharp for Wimbledon and the US Open and beyond

If Novak continues to win two Grand Slams over the next few years he'll go ahead and if Rafa wins here and the French then he is one away

Anything can happen. I think it means more for Roger. Martina Navratilova Navratilova thinks the door is wide open (Pictur: Getty Images) Oh Jesus, I can't be talking about that! It's definitely possible, they are young enough

When I was playing at 30 it was all like "when are you going to stop playing, when are you going to retire?" and now at 31 they're like hitting their stride, they don't have to answer those questions

It's nice that the longevity has extended so much. They play less, they take better care of their bodies, they're spoilt rotten, flying private etc

The first time I flew to Australia it took me 40 hours to get here! Advertisement  It's great the players are able to prolong their careers so we'll see

It depends on how much the young ones also come up and improve if they start pushing on the door

Anything is possible. Nick Knowles left wearing eye patch after emergency operation Man Utd begin talks to sign £25m winger to boost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's attack Trace Cyrus kicks off at 'jealous girls' who reported picture of him holding fiancé's neck Advertisement Advertisement

Trump's New Vow on Border Wall: Give It to Me or the Government Could Shut Down Again in 3 Weeks - Duration: 3:26.

Even as he announced Friday he would agree to temporarily reopen the federal government after a 35-day shutdown, President Donald Trump said he was not abandoning his signature proposal to build a border wall with Mexico.

Just the opposite, he vowed.

Trump said that should Congress not agree to fund a wall, he will allow the government to close again or — wading into legally questionable territory — declare a "national emergency" and attempt to allocate the funds himself without approval.

"We really have no choice but to build a powerful wall or steel barrier," he told reporters from the White House's Rose Garden. "If we don't get a fair deal from Congress, the government will either shutdown on Feb. 15 again or I will use the powers afforded to me under the laws and the Constitution of the United States to address this emergency. We will have great security."

The president was reversing himself in agreeing to spending bills without a guarantee of a southern wall, which has been a signal issue of him dating back to his campaign. (With his assent on Friday, both houses of Congress were expected to move imminently to pass spending bills which Trump said would include backpay for affected workers. )

In his speech announcing the shutdown would end, Trump also took pains not to distance himself from the idea of a wall — reiterating his familiar arguments about the perils of illegal immigration and the value of borders secured his way.

Trump said that in the three weeks that the government would reopen, a bipartisan group of lawmakers would work with homeland security experts on a bill funding border security and related measures including, he hoped, a wall.

"Barriers, fences or walls, or whatever you want to call it will be an important part of the solution," he said.

Over the next 21 days, I expect that both Democrat and Republicans will operate in good faith," Trump continued. "This is an opportunity for all parties to work together for the benefit of our whole beautiful wonderful nation. If we make a fair deal, the American people will be proud of their government for proving that we can put country over party."

Such confidence is likely to be undercut by the starker reality on Capitol Hill: Democrats won decisively in the midterm elections, sweeping their majority to power in the House where they believe they were elected to act as a check on the president.

Nancy Pelosi, the House speaker, has dismissed a border wall as "immoral" and "ineffective." At the same time Democrats have agreed to work with Republicans on broad funding for border security — though, should such a compromise result in a bill without a wall, the country is now poised to repeat itself.

Speaking with PEOPLE earlier this month, amid the month-long shutdown, Wisconsin newlywed Mallory Lorge said she had been forced to ration the insulin used to treat her diabetes because she could no longer afford the $300 co-pay for a new supply.

Lorge, 31, had been on sick leave from the Department of the Interior before the government closed on Dec. 22.

"I am so scared of more bills," she told PEOPLE. "The stack on my table is a couple inches high."

"I love working for the public and I feel so betrayed," she said. "I feel like our lives our being held hostage. I wish people would see human lives are being affected."
