hello my friends and welcome to another episode of ghost stories in folklore
tonight my friends let me tell you a story of a fort down in Key West Florida
called fort zachary taylor
it is not uncommon for military bases to be haunted the bloodshed of battle and
other horrendous events often make room for ghostly encounters
fourth Zachary Taylor however was never attacked but that doesn't mean the Ford
exceed the severe taint of numerous deaths
yellow fever tuberculosis diphtheria and other diverted diseases ravaged the
people that lived and work within its walls
thousands of people eventually died over the years due to these diseases and
other things that took place inside the fort walls these massive toll in such a
concentrated area as a resulted in countless reported ghostly incidents by
guests in workers these reports include soldiers mustering on the grounds and
people have reported hearing gunfire and pistols even spookier my friends are the
haunted stories that revolve around the noon hour which just happens to be the
time of day when the hangings were to occur at the fort unearthly screams from
bodyless forces desperately begging for their lives have even been
along with the audible sound of the hangman's trapdoor snapping open unusual
within the thick walls of the fort are also unaccountable cold spots occurring
in areas of the fort where drafts are highly unlikely
why what's such a location that did not see in the military action have such a
concentrated ghostly activity my friends could it be that there are thousands of
visitors that come to this area on a yearly basis is it possible because it's
next to flowing water that the energy traps in gives the spirits energy to
manifest the only way that you can tell for yourself my friends if you're in the
Key West area of Florida my friends stop by the foot and see for yourselves if
