hey guys welcome back to another Mortal Kombat 11 video this is astronaut and I
am pumping out the videos here I'm trying to keep them coming with every
idea I get I try to just you know jump on and make another video upload it get
it out to you guys in this video I'm gonna be giving you guys the official
roster report now I'm calling it the roster report and in reality I'm just
giving you my personal outline of what we can look forward to on the roster but
I thought that calling it the roster report would be suitable for the video
for the concept of the video since I am giving you my personal report on what I
believe is gonna be on the roster so guys to kick things off let's start off
with the characters that we know hands-down are gonna be in this title um
we're gonna definitely see Scorpion Raiden sub-zero Liu Kang katana Cassie
cage and if you guys have been following my channel if you've been checking out
my videos you will know these are the characters that I gave to you guys in
astronauts guide to Mortal Kombat xi that's a video that I put out a few
months ago and and so just to go over this list really quickly of course we
know we're gonna see scorpion he's the man he's the he's the face of nether
room he's in every single title sub-zero as well sub-zero and scorpion are both
the poster characters for the entire series Raiden we know we're gonna see
him again from not only the ending and Mortal Kombat X but also just the fact
that Raiden is always present and he's also been he's a confirmed character
both him and scorpion are confirmed characters as well as Shao Kahn and the
mystery lady next to the hourglass but Braden is a confirmed character from the
trailer um Liu Kang and katana I definitely believe we're gonna be seeing
them because they were involved in the cliffhanger at the end of Mortal Kombat
X with the exchange between them and Raiden the Mortal Kombat X ending was a
bit of a cliffhanger that kind of left you on the edge of not
what was gonna happen but knowing something was coming up some kind of
conflict or whatever so we'll definitely see them and Cassie cage is the last
person I kind of include on this absolutely will be a moral combat 11 the
list because she defeated shinnok um I don't agree with that but that's okay um
so yes so there's that that first group of characters now the second group of
character guys are basically the second group of characters are the the next-gen
characters that were created and introduced Mortal Kombat X Jackie Briggs
Takeda come Jen Devorah cloak on Aaron Black ferret or I
don't know about ferret or but I'll just leave that alone but anyway I definitely
believe the the nether room purposely introduced these characters for a reason
if you notice most of the story mode and Mortal Kombat X was devoted to
developing and introducing them as as the new characters on the scene and not
only that but these characters are also characters that use the same language as
you know teenagers you know nowadays used you know they courage they use
slang they use this and that so I believe that on nether room
intentionally created and wanted to establish these characters for the sake
of drawing in a fresh new audience and having characters that younger fans of
the series can't identify and relate to so of course if you're an old school fan
of Mortal Kombat you know you already are familiar with the layout of the
franchise but newer fans you know when they pick up a title or pick up a copy
of the game they're gonna want to see something that is familiar to them so um
so definitely I definitely believe we're going to see the the next-gen characters
return because it only makes sense if if you want if you if you want to bring in
a fresh audience of fans and people with characters that they can relate to
you're not gonna drop them like a bad habit right after Mortal Kombat X you're
gonna keep keep keep having them involved in the story mode
of the percy army of the of the following games as well so anyway so
that's the second group of characters the third group of characters are the
revenant and guys I've already done a video about the revenant about what two
videos ago and there is still not resolved they still have not been
restored and Liu Kang and katana are still revenant but yet at the same time
they're the king and queen of the nether room so the revenant theme is still at
play so I think it's a very very good chance for us to anticipate seeing
possibly or seeing some of these characters make it back onto the roster
the characters that are still revenant are sindel nightwolf striker smoke Jade
and cabal so those characters I believe have a very good chance of making it
onto the roster especially since they had to set out in between world combat
nine and ten so and also I did read an article where Ed Boon said he wasn't
gonna do the NPC's anymore because a lot of fans were just so upset at seeing
some of their favorite characters and not being able to play them I don't know
if that is that's legit I don't know if that's 100% legit but I did hear that so
if that is the case then you know a number of these I like a lot of these
revenues were actually NPC's in Mortal Kombat X so it would make sense if they
were to reintroduce these characters and allow them to make it back onto the
roster and make them playable so so that's the first three groups of
characters guys that I feel have a very strong possibility of making it onto the
roster for Mortal Kombat 11 now this next part goes into the whole idea that
if you notice in the trailer the sand and the hourglass was going up which
suggests that time is going backwards or going in Reverse and by that happening
then that means that that creates an opportunity for nether room to basically
bring back whoever they want to bring back from the past the only question is
are they gonna bring back characters from the new timeline reboot a timeline
or the old timeline because if they're bringing characters back from the new
timeline we'll see people like Shang Tsung and
Shiva and Noob Saibot and Baraka and reign those Thai people will see come
back maybe scarlet but if they're bringing people back from the old time
line that means that there's a possibility that we might be able to see
some of the 3d characters come back like Jarek Serena and the Tara Astra Reiko
Haven Dagon you know characters like that so but at
this point we just don't know enough about the game or the story mode to know
which direction they're gonna go in I know a lot of people still want to see a
lot of 3d characters come back but for some reason nether room has been really
avoiding and walked out walking around a lot of those characters from deception
from from Armageddon from Deadly Alliance they've been really they've
just completely almost abandoned a lot of those 3d characters and I don't know
if it's been intentionally or whatever but anyway so we'll just have to see if
time is going in Reverse where they what direction they go in whether they choose
to go in reverse into the new timeline or reverse into the old timeline another
thing that I thought would be really cool was if they do a human sector in a
human smushy Masai Rex because if time is going in Reverse and that means that
they could jump time jump in two different periods in the past and
possibly go so far as to go back to a time when sector and cyrex were human so
I would love the opportunity to use a human sector or human Cyrax I mean we've
had the opportunity to use both the human smoke and an automated smoke but
we haven't had that opportunity with cyrex and sector I think Cyrax actually
had a skin back into deception that allowed him that we could see his face
and things like that but it was just for that one game and you know he wasn't
totally human it was kind of partially human so so if they were to play around
with that I think that would be really cool also one thing that I think is
worth talking about is whether or not they're gonna do a street fighter alpha
type thing where if time is going in Reverse and they're going backwards are
they actually going to render some of the characters in and like to allow us
to see them in a younger condition like are we gonna see like a teenage version
Lu Kang or Johnny Cage or Sonia or a thing you know something along those
lines which which to me would be really really fascinating to see and we already
know that age is a dynamic that nether room has been playing around with
especially in Mortal Kombat X um we got the opportunity to use some skins for
certain characters that showed their age of being in their 40s or early 50s like
Liu Kang Johnny Cage Jack Saul has skins where you could see that they had gray
hair so we see that that's a theme that's that's a dynamic that NetherRealm
is definitely manipulating within Mortal Kombat X and so that that might actually
go in reverse with Mortal Kombat 11 if time is going in reversed and we might
get a chance to see like the Street Fighter Alpha experience happen where we
see some of these characters as teenagers or in the early 20s and we see
what they went through to become the the champions and the fighters that we know
them to be so that would be a really really exciting element to add to the
story so there's so much you can do with time manipulation there's just so much
um now of course my favorite character Mele
and a lot of people don't know we still don't know if Molina is gonna return but
to be in to be all honest with you with all the Molina's that are running around
it makes no sense for Molina not to return I mean even for Molina to have
been killed off there's still tons of clones that Shang Tsung made of her so
you know so 1 Molina could pick up where the other one left off or or the Molina
that got killed could return a you know in the format of being from the dream
realm because tremor in the intro between Molina and tremor he says you
know in the dream room you are reborn and in
this room you're dead so you know that could have been a clue into how we're
gonna see Molina return into Mortal Kombat 11 and I honestly think we do
need to have Molina returned um I might be biased if I say she was the most
popular female character on she's em she's my main character so but but I
definitely think that you know Molina they did some really cool things with
her character with Mortal Kombat X they really evolve Molina beyond just the sex
symbol that she's pretty much been throughout the entire series um you know
she was she went from kind of being a sex symbol to in Mortal Kombat 11 she
actually kind of became more more human in a way in the sense that they gave her
a storyline they actually you know put her in the position of being empress
over Outworld for time and then leading our own rebellion against Kotal Kahn so
they added you know they added so many nuances to our character and really
developed her in such a way that you know really me you know I think like
reek re-established her in the new timeline is such a brilliant way that I
think it would be a shame to just you know drop her for Mortal Kombat 11 so I
think she needs to make a return and possibly have a moment of redemption
between her and Kotal Kahn alright guys I'm done I hope you enjoyed this video
