Youtube daily about May 3 2017

#1: Shaun is not a rapper, athlete, or in the military

I have a way of speaking that makes me sound like a rapper.

I picked up on that from Charlie Murphy, God bless that man's soul. (Charlie Murphy was the older brother of comedian Eddie Murphy who died in April 12, 2017)

People think i'm an athlete and in military because i'm tall and look big and I exercise.

I wake up at 0500 and do 100 push ups. Sometimes.

I go to the gym and I try to eat healthy.

I just take good care of my body.

My body is my temple.

#2: He has both of his parents

My mom works in information technology and my dad is an electrical engineer.

#3: He has a useless college degree

I went to university from 2004 to 2010.

I did college and university.

I got my degree in film.

It's a very "useful" degree.

#4: Shaun has been on Japanese and Korean television

I've been on FUJI TV twice and Tokyo MX one time.

Tokyo MX was in 2013.

On Korean TV, I was on SBS and MBC.

My time on MBC you can find right here.

#5 Shaun reads books

I loved reading books since I was two years old.

I taught myself how to read at 2.

Since then, I read a lot of books.

In elementary, I was forced to read and I loved it. It did not bother me.

In middle school, I stopped.

In high school, I went back to reading. I read books I wasn't forced to read.

In college, I read more books.

My true love for books came back in 2014 when I read Terry Crews book 'Manhood'. (Terry Crews is an actor in movies such as The Expendables and White Chicks)

That book and so many afterwards saved my life.

Right now, I finished "No More Mr. Nice Guy". I'm almost finished with "No More Christian Nice Guy". The next book is "The Subtle Art Of How To Not Give An F"

#6: Shaun doesn't only listen to hip hop

I love music that is not just hip hop.

People look at me and say, "oh you're a black guy so you like hip hop".

It's true, I do love hip hop but I also love other music.

I love jazz, I love R&B.

I just like anything that sounds good.

#7: Shaun plays games that are not sports or FPS

Some of you guys might know this but I am a gamer.

I love to play video games. I've been playing video games since I was four years old.

I'll never forget when I got my first game system. (Nintendo Entertainment System or Comboy in Korea or Famicom in Japan)

My parents went to a pawn shop and got it for me.

I played Mario Bros. since then. We all used to play as a family.

The type of games I love these days are fighting games, Japanese RPGs, and puzzle games.

I love them.

#8: Shaun loves to cook food

When I was a teacher here, a lot of people thought me being able to cook was something special.

They would say, "Wow, you're a guy that cooks?"

YES! I love to cook!

If I didn't cook, I wouldn't be alive!

You save more money by cooking for yourself.

Go to the grocery store, buy your ingredients, and BAM right there!

Most of the ingredients I learned from Reddit or Imgur. Thankful to those sites.

#9: No one can spell Shaun's name correctly

S-H-A-U-N

Not S-E-A-N Not S-H-A-W-N

SHAUN! That's how you say it.

When I tell Koreans that, they always say "JON?"

No, Shaun!

#10: Shaun walks like a duck or penguin

I walk like a duck!

That's another reason why people think i'm a rapper.

It is how i've always walked since I was born.

I could fix it. I could get a foot brace.

People used to make fun of me for it.

It's my signature. I love it!

Those are the 10 things about me you probably didn't know!

Anything you want to know, leave a comment down below and I will answer for you.

Peace and love and I will see you next time!

Everything about Afghan Hound - Duration: 7:11.

AFGHAN HOUND is an aloof and dignified breed with luxury and aristocracy.

Playfulness: 3/5 Affection: 2/5

Friendliness Towards Strangers: 2/5 Good With Children: 3/5

Good With Dogs: 3/5 Exercise Required: 3/5

Ease of Training: 2/5 Watch Dog: 4/5

Grooming: 4/5 Shedding: 1/5

Cold Tolerance: 3/5 Heat Tolerance: 3/5

Personality And Temperament Aloof and distinguished are two words which

accurately describe the Afghan hound so if you're looking for a dog which you can form

a strong bond with, then this may not be the correct breed for you!

They are intelligent, agile and loyal and need a fair amount of exercise to stop them

from becoming destructive.

A large back yard is ideal to let them run around in but make sure the fence is high

enough as these agile dogs can jump great heights!

These sometimes clownish hounds are rather reserved and quiet indoors but really come

out of their shells once outside - they really love to run and jump around!

But they can also get stressed very easily.

Once stressed, they may refuse to budge and may even drop off to sleep until the stressful

situation or incident has passed.

Sometimes even their nose can run if they're not happy about something.

As a member of the sight hound group, their eyesight is far superior to human eyesight

and so they must be well trained to obey commands so they don't suddenly bolt after something

in the distance which we cannot see.

This breed is not advisable as pets in a home which already have cats as they have a strong

prey drive.

As their name suggest, Afghan Hounds originate from the mountains of Afghanistan where their

long, luxurious coat kept them warm in the cold climate.

They were bred as a shepherding and hunting dog due to their excellent eyesight and their

speed and agility.

They excelled at chasing wild goats, ibex, gazelle, hares and even wolves and snow leopards.

They are one of the most ancient breeds of sighthounds and their breed purity is mostly

down to their isolation in these mountains.

They were prohibited from being exported and there are drawings of them in caves in Northern

Afghanistan dating back more than 4000 years along with mentions of them in Egyptian papyrus's.

Afghans were introduced to Britain in the late 1800s/early 1900s by army officers returning

from military campaigns and instantly caused a sensation with their gorgeous long flowing

hair similar to a human.

Two main strains of sight houndss brought out of Afghanistan make up today's modern

Afghan Hound – the Bell-Murray Strain or Steppe Strain and the Ghazni Strain or Mountain

Strain.

Most of the Afghans in America have originated from the Ghazni strain and the first Afghan's

made their way to Australia in 1934, also of the Ghazni strain.

The two strains have now been mixed and a new breed standard was written in 1948 to

accommodate this.

Vital Statistics Weight 52 - 64 lb (23 - 32 kg)

Height 26 -29 in (66 - 74 cm) Life expectancy 11–13 years

Colours Variations:

Fawn Gold

Brindle White

Red Grey

Cream Blue

Tri-colour Parti-colour (white with islands of red or

black) are disqualified from shows as they can indicate impure breeding

Afghan hounds are notorious amongst dog trainers as being slow to learn at obedience training.

Strangely though, thanks to their intelligence and reasoning skills however, Afghans excel

at dog agility trials.

Dogs should be trained from an early age however, this breed of dog mustn't be shouted at as

they are extremely sensitive and can become stressed very easily and may withdraw.

They should be encouraged positively and rewarded for good behaviour.

Like all other breeds, they should receive early and ongoing socialization.

Afghan hounds make excellent guard dogs.

They are extremely watchful, are wary of strangers and loyal to their owners.

The females seem to be more protective than their male counterparts.

Their loud, ferocious bark and large size is enough to put most would-be burglars off!

It will come as no surprise that Afghan Hounds require a considerable amount of grooming!

They have a long, silky, luxurious coat which needs grooming a couple of times a week, preferably

once a day as knots build it really quickly.

Twigs, leaves and other bits and pieces can get stuck to the long fur of these beautiful

dogs and should be removed as soon as spotted to cut down on fur matting.

If your hound does get his fur matted then gentle brushing or pulling apart with your

hands (gentle!) should be enough to remove it.

Never cut the matting out of your Afghan's hair – it will leave a big hole.

They are single coated dogs and so do not have the same shedding issues as their double

coated counterparts.

An Afghan's hair compares with human hair and can suffer from the same problems such

as split ends although proper care can reduce this.

An Afghan Hound puppy will begin to lose it's puppy coat at around 9 months of age and it's

adult coat will grow in as the old puppy coat falls out.

Due to this happening at the same time, the fur can very often get incredibly tangled

at this stage.

Extra grooming is advised to keep on top of this.

Remember, it's just a stage the dog is going through and wont last forever!

Expect to find long, silky dog hairs on absolutely everything – carpet, sofa, best clothes...and

yourself!

Afghan Hounds are generally a healthy breed although they do have a low tolerance of pain

and so even the smallest issue can become a big deal to them.

Due to their low levels of body fat, they are sensitive to anaesthetic.

Afghan's are also reported to suffer from the following conditions:

Hip displasia Cancer

Allergies Chylothorax

Thank you Guys, I will cyea guys next time, Takecare!

Needless to say he wasn't our guy.

He did say some pretty alarming things about your boy Poseidon,

A world shaker.

Didn't give me enough to put all the pieces together, but--

Back up, back up, back up.

What did they say?

Jacob-- his words.

I couldn't get close enough to hear him much, but what I did--

Let's Have A Chat About... Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons | The Chattering Gamer - Episode 2 - Duration: 9:01.

welcome to a fictional time in a

fictional place where there is a tree of

life than the inhabitants speak a

fictional language that's right based on

that rather incredible description we

are obviously in the world of brothers a

tale of two sons now as you might have

guessed brothers a tale of two sons is

about two sons who are brothers I don't

really know why I said that because

anyone with anything between their ears

would be able to get that from the title

but whoever wrote this script felt it

necessary

damn you scriptwriting me you are making

me sound foolish brothers a tale of two

sons is a wonderful game that made me

pretty damn emotional by the end of it

and in this video I'm going to try and

explain without spoilers why it made me

feel this way

so let's get on with it now the story of

brothers a tale of two sons focuses on

two brothers as you may have guessed

from the title those two brothers being

Naiee and Naia and they are trying to

acquire water from the tree of life to

save their sick father or at least we

think I think it's their father I don't

really know because they don't

explicitly tell you that it's their

father it could be their grandfather for

all I know but they say it's generally

implied that it's their father and the

whole thing is their adventure that they

have together to get to the Tree of Life

to get the water to bring it back and

it's all about them working together to

achieve things that they couldn't do on

their own

you know you soon find out that the

older brother can do things the younger

brother can't where's the younger

brother can do things that the older

brother can't and the whole gameplay

situation revolves around that and it's

actually extremely innovative oh by the

way before I move on to the gameplay I'm

going to say that I'm not going to go

any further into the plot mainly because

the whole game is story based there's

practically no collectibles as a matter

of fact I don't think there are any

collectibles at all it is just purely a

directed story experience think of it a

bit like Uncharted just without the

collectibles

and on a much smaller scale and with a

different art style which is beautiful

by the way the graphics in this game

actually read Zen themselves - the type

of story I think they're trying to tell

I think if you try to go too gritty and

real with this game it wouldn't have had

the same effect some of the things that

you actually encounter in this game it

would become a lot more scary the game

when you actually you know if you did it

in a much more realistic style I think

but anyway I'm supposed to be talking

about the plot if you want to you

know if you want to know more about the

plot either go and play the game

yourself or find a complete let's play

of it whichever one floats your boat so

now I'm going to move on to the gameplay

because like I said before the story is

very much told out in the gameplay and

the gameplay is actually fairly

innovative effectively the whole premise

of the gameplay of brothers a tale of

two sons is that you are controlling two

characters at once it's that whole idea

of using two characters to achieve one

goal so you have the younger brother

naiee and who can do like a lot of

climbing and he's very he's very small

so the older brother can kind of like

boost him up places so if you need to

get up anywhere high then you use the

older brother to boost the younger

brother up and the younger brother then

like drops down the rope for the older

brother to climb up and it's pretty it's

really quite good because you control

both characters at once so you have the

younger brother Nighy all controlled by

the left side of the controller so you

have the the left analog stick and the

left trigger button controlling what's

the younger brother does and you have

the right analog stick and the right

trigger controlling what the older

brother does and although the control

system is extremely innovative and it

does for the most part control really

really well there were times when I was

playing this that I got completely and

utterly confused because the whole setup

I think really is to keep Naiee on the

left and keep naia on the right at all

times however there are some times huh

because me being the dumbass that I am

where the two got mixed up and whether

to get mixed up you either have to be

very good at reversing

your brain or you have to control one

character at a time get your bearings

for one character then you can actually

do the same thing for the other

character for the other character bring

them back to the correct sides and then

carry on that happened to me a couple of

times actually it was really really

confusing at one point but generally the

controls are really good because then

you have you have the movements on the

on the analog stick and then contextual

actions on the trigger and those

contextual actions are completely based

on what you're actually trying to do so

yeah there's no different buttons for

different things it's one contextual

button for everything or one contextual

trigger in this case the whole gameplay

aspect it it makes it very

heart-wrenching at the end when when

certain events happen at the end of the

game I think if the gameplay mechanics

had just focused on just controlling one

say just controlling the younger brother

because the story does evolve a lot

around the younger brother it seems to

be told from the younger brother's point

of view if you've just been controlling

him I don't think it would have had the

same emotional impact the very fact that

you are controlling both of these

characters you actually get sort of

invested in the survival of both of

these characters and when certain events

happen at the end of the game it just it

makes it all the more heart-wrenching

and it makes it all the more

hard-hitting at least emotionally and

you you really do feel for these

characters it's a very interesting thing

and I think it was an absolutely

inspired choice by whoever directed the

game the developer of this game is

Starbreeze Studios by the way and I

think they've done an absolutely

brilliant job in just the whole package

no one element of the game really

stands out as being oh my god amazing

right but then the way everything comes

together so like the way the art style

the controls just the visuals in

general and the audio and the sound

design come together to form an entire

package that entire package is Wow oh my

god right that

so it does actually convey that kind of

feeling and it is a phenomenally cool

game my parting feelings when playing

this game was I think the story does

actually convey a pretty good message

which i think is more relevant today now

you know than ever and that is basically

sometimes you have to work together to

achieve your goals and sometimes to

actually work together and to achieve

those goals you also have to overcome

your own problems just a little bit more

of a bit of a spoiler sort of a spoiler

but not really a spoiler the younger

brother who's the story of which is told

from the point of view of we find out

early in the game has certain problems

that by the end of the game he has to

overcome and I've got to be honest that

the entire story in the entire

experience left me rather humbled

actually it wasn't really sad for me as

such well I mean I suppose it was sad

but not like bawling my eyes outside but

I did I did shed a tear at the air a

tear or two at the end it's a game that

will make you do that

or at least it did for me anyway I'm not

going to speak for everybody in the

world when I say that but it did for me

and I think that the message of you

having to overcome your own problems is

one that resonates very strongly with me

as I have a lot of problems that I'm

trying to overcome at the moment in my

own life so that that really did

resonate with me and this game has

actually done more to inspire me to do

that than anything else that's happened

so far in my life so my abiding memory

is one of contentment and inspiration

from playing this game and I would

highly recommend that you will check it

out as well so that was a peek at

brothers a tale of two sons let me know

what your thoughts are down in the

comments thank you so much for watching

this is the legacy of James and I'll see

Video Joy Behar Lies About Trump, Gets Immediate Smackdown In Return

"The View" has become known for regurgitating left-wing narratives, often without challenge,

but the hosts recently met their match.

After Ann Coulter's speech was canceled at Berkeley, the women of "The View" invited

her to speak with them.

Things were going well, at first, but Joy Behar just had to demonize President Donald

Trump, a move she came to instantly regret.

As The Blaze reports, Coulter's segment started out on a high-note, with Behar telling

Coulter, "We believe in free speech here," a reference to the canceled Berkeley event.

Surprisingly, Whoopi Goldberg echoed the same sentiment, commenting, "Berkeley, you made

a mistake, man.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

That's the law."

However, when the conversation shifted from free speech to President Donald Trump, things

started to go south.

Coulter defended Trump's supposedly low poll ratings by saying, "I think polls,

apparently, don't work in the age of Trump," adding that she still thinks of him as the

"emperor god."

From that point, tensions only continued to escalate.

During Coulter's second segment, things got more tense.

Sunny Hostin asked about his tax plan, noting that "It's clear, when you try to read

it, it could save corporations trillions of dollars, which would directly benefit the

Trump family and Trump's businesses.

Does that at all bother you, and does it bother you we haven't seen his tax papers?"

Coulter said she's not at all bothered that the President won't release his taxes, saying,

"I think he enjoys driving the press crazy," and adding that she doesn't think he has

anything to hide.

[Source: Mediaite] Goldberg took a swipe at Trump by implying that his poll numbers are

low "because of all the people who he called rapists and murderers."

Coulter quickly replied, "But they're not Americans!"

Things reached a crescendo when Behar unleashed a common but completely absurd liberal narrative

about Trump's relationship with Russia.

Ann Coulter busted out laughing at Joy Behar during her Monday appearance on "The View"

after the host gave her theory about President Donald Trump's ongoing battle with the media.

"See I have a theory that the reason he [Trump] wants his supporters to hate the media

is because as soon as this Russian investigation is really fully vetted we're going to find

out that he possibly committed crime," Behar told the conservative author.

[Source: Daily Caller]

Behar went on to say that Trump could likely end up in handcuffs.

Coulter laughed hysterically as she labeled the Russia narrative "insane."

She then went on to educate the ladies of "The View" on Trump's handling of "fake

media."

Behar blurted out words like "crimes" and "treason" as Coulter put her in her

place.

For most of us, the only reason we would tune in to "The View" is to watch a fiery conservative

like Ann Coulter destroy one liberal narrative after the next.

Other than that, the show is a boring waste of time.

The fact is, the Russia allegations have been absurd since the beginning.

Liberals like Joy Behar cannot accept the fact that Hillary Clinton lost and is gone

from politics for good.

As long as President Donald Trump keeps winning, they will continue to spout these stupid explanations

for his success.

Brad Pitt Speaks Out About His Split With Angelina Jolie | TODAY - Duration: 6:29.

>>> WE'RE BACK NOW, 7:42, WITH BRAD PITT BREAKING HIS SILENCE,

SPEAKING OUT ABOUT HIS SPLIT FROM ANGELINA JOLIE.

>> "GQ" WAS WITH HIM DURING A PHOTO SHOOT.

IN A CANDID INTERVIEW, HE TALKS ABOUT WHY HE STOPPED DRINKING

AND STARTED THERAPY. BRAD PITT IS SPEAKING OUT IN THE

SUMMER ISSUE OF "GQ STYLE." ONLY ONCE DOES HE MENTION

ANGELINA JOLIE BY NAME. BUT HE TALKS ABOUT LIFE SINCE

HIS MARRIAGE BROKE UP. AT FIRST, HE DIDN'T WANT TO

SPEND TIME IN THE HOME HE SHARED WITH HIS FAMILY.

INSTEAD, SPENDING A MONTH AND A HALF CRASHING WITH A FRIEND.

HE TELLS "GQ STYLE" THIS HOUSE WAS CRAZY.

VOICES AND BANGS COMING FROM EVERYWHERE.

AND THEN, THERE'S DIES LIKE THIS.

VERY, VERY SOLEMN.

EXCEPT FOR A FEW OCCASIONS, LIKE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE AT THE

GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, HE HAS REMAINED OUT OF THE LIMELIGHT.

INSTEAD, AN INTROPEKTIVE BITE SAYS HE WANTS TO CREATE ART AND

WORK ON HIS FILM, "WAR MACHINE." HE REVEALS HE JUST STARTED

THERAPY, GOING THROUGH TWO THERAPISTS UNTIL HE FOUND THE

RIGHT ONE. I LOVE IT, HE TELLS THE

MAGAZINE. THE NEWS CREATED SHOCK WAVES

WHEN JOLIE FILED FOR DIVORCE LAST SEPTEMBER, JUST DAYS AFTER

AN INCIDENT ON THE FAMILY'S PRIVATE JET.

PITT WAS INVESTIGATED FOR ALLEGATIONS OF PHYSICAL ABUSE

AND WAS LATER CLEARED BY THE FBI AND L.A. FAMILY AND CHILD

SERVICES. A COURT EVENTUALLY ORDERED

FAMILY COUNSELING. SPECULATION ONLY GREW AROUND THE

CAUSE OF THE COUPLE'S SPLIT, INCLUDING RUMORS OF INFIDELITY

AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE. PITT SAID, I WAS BOOZING TOO

MUCH. I'M HAPPY IT'S BEEN HALF A YEAR,

WHICH IS BITTERSWEET. I HAD TO STEP AWAY FOR A MINUTE.

AND TRUTHFULLY, I COULD DRINK A RUSSIAN UNDER THE TABLE WITH HIS

OWN VODKA. I WAS A PROFESSIONAL.

I WAS GOOD. THIS PERIOD IS ABOUT LOOKING AT

MY WEAKNESSES AND FAILURES. JOLIE FOR HER PART HAS SAID VERY

LITTLE. BUT SHE AND PITT AGREE, THE MOST

IMPORTANT THING IS PROTECTING THEIR SIX CHILDREN.

IN FEBRUARY, SHE TOLD BBC WORLD NEWS --

>> WE ARE A FAMILY. WE WILL ALWAYS BE A FAMILY.

AND WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS TIME.

AND HOPEFULLY BE A STRONGER FAMILY FOR IT.

>> Reporter: EARLIER THIS YEAR, THE ACTORS DECIDED TO SEAL ANY

COURT DOCUMENTS RELATED TO CUSTODY.

PITT SAYS, I HEARD ONE LAWYER SAY, NO ONE WINS IN COURT.

FORTUNATELY, MY PARTNER IN AGREES.

IT'S VERY, VERY JARRING FOR THE KIDS TO SUDDENLY HAVE THEIR

FAMILY RIPPED APART. >> AND PITT TELLS "GQ STYLE" HIS

FOCUS IS ON HIS KIDS. FAMILY FIRST, PEOPLE ON THEIR

DEATH BEDS DONE TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY OBTAINED.

THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR LOVED ONES.

HE HOPES EVERYONE COMES OUT OF THIS STRONGER AND BETTER PEOPLE.

>> WE HAVE MORE WITH WILL WELCH.

>> GOOD MORNING. >> IT'S QUITE THE INTERVIEW.

AND YOU DO SEE HIM OPEN UP. HE'S NOT THROWING HIS HEART OUT

ON TO THE TABLE. BUT HE'S REALLY SHARING SOME

PERSONAL REVOLUTIONS HE SEEMS TO BE GOING THROUGH IN REAL-TIME.

>> HE'S WORKING THROUGH HIS FEELINGS WITH THE WRITER WHO

INTERVIEWED BRAD PITT AT HOME. AND THAT'S -- HE'S ONE OF THE

MOST FAMOUS ACTORS IN THE WORLD. BUT THERE'S AN ELEMENT OF

RAWNESS. AND HE'S GOING THROUGH DARK

NIGHT OF THE SOUL. WHAT IS EXCITING ABOUT THIS

INTERVIEW AND A GREAT EXAMPLE FOR OUR READERS IS HE IS COMING

TO TERMS AND CONFRONTING HIS FEELINGS IN A WAY HE NEVER HAS

BEFORE. THAT'S SOMETHING, IF WE CAN

LEARN TO GET OUR EMOTIONAL LIVES IN ORDER, AND THAT FAMILY AND

CAREER ARE WHAT FOLLOW THAT. HE'S A LIVING EXAMPLE OF THAT.

HE SAYS, I WON THE LOTTERY. BUT THEN, THERE ARE OTHER WAYS

IN WHICH HE WAS LOST. SO, TO WATCH A GUY AT AGE 53

MAKE THAT ADJUSTMENT, I THINK IS REALLY INTERESTING AND A GOOD

EXAMPLE. >> THIS MAY BE REDUNDANT, WILL.

WHAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION, WAS AN EIGHT-DAY PHOTO SHOOT.

THAT'S A LONG TIME TO SPEND WITH SOMEONE LIKE BRAD PITT.

YOU WOULD SAY THAT THE PLACE HE'S IN RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT IS

WHAT? >> WELL, YOU KNOW, HE WAS OPEN

TO A COLLABORATION. SO MUCH OF THE CELEBRITY WORK

THESE DAYS IS TRANSACTIONAL. AND WHAT WE BROUGHT TO HIM WAS

AN ART PROJECT WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER, RYAN McGINLEY.

WE WERE THINKING WHAT WE WANTED TO DO WITH OUR SUMMER ISSUE, WE

ARE IN A DIVIDED COUNTRY. AND WE WANTED TO FIND A COMMON

GROUND THAT WE CAN CELEBRATE, WHICH BECAME THE NATIONAL PARKS.

THAT'S WHAT I PRESENTED TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND TO BRAT PITT.

THAT'S WHAT HE SIGNED ON FOR. HE SAID IT WAS HIS DREAM TO RIDE

HIS MOTORCYCLE THROUGH WHITE SANDS NATIONAL PARK.

SO, WE TOOK HIM TO DO THAT. AND YOU SEE, THERE'S A DIFFERENT

LEVEL OF COLLABORATION WITH US. >> I WAS STRUCK AT HOW OPEN HE

WAS ABOUT THE ALCOHOL ABUSE AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS.

AND JUST HOW INTROSPECTIVE HE SEEMED TO BE IN THIS INTERVIEW.

WERE YOU SURPRISED BY ALL OF THAT?

>> YEAH. THERE WAS A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF

TRUST BUILT UP OVER THE COURSE OF THE SHOOT.

THAT'S JUST THE PLACE HE'S IN. I THINK WHAT'S REALLY

COMMENDABLE, HE'S COMING FROM A PLACE OF, I'M DONE HIDING.

I'M DONE USING CRUTCHES. I'M READY TO LOOK THIS IN THE

EYE. AND THAT COULD HAVE JUST BEEN

SOMETHING THAT HE KEPT PRIVATE. BUT IN THIS CASE, HE FELT

COMPELLED AND FELT LIKE IT WAS THE RIGHT TIME TO SHARE THAT.

AND I THINK THAT'S EXCITING FOR ALL OF US.

>> REAL QUICKLY. WE WERE TALKING.

IS THERE ANY ELEMENT HERE THAT YOU THINK THIS IS A MESSAGE HE

IS SENDING OUT TO ANGELINA THAT, I'VE DONE A LOT OF

SOUL-SEARCHING AND I'M IN A BETTER PLACE.

AND MAYBE IS THERE SOME EFFORT --

>> IT DID HAVE THE WHIFF OF RECONCILIATION.

MAYBE WE'RE PROJECTING. >> YOU GUYS ARE -- OF COURSE,

EVERYBODY IS INVITED TO READ THIS INTERVIEW AND INTERPRET IT

HOWEVER THEY WANT. I DIDN'T GET THAT SENSE.

I FELT LIKE THIS IS A GUY WHO HAS BEEN STRIPPED TO HIS

FOUNDATIONS. AND HE'S LOOKING TO BUILD IT

BACK AND MOVE FORWARD. >> FASCINATING INTERVIEW.

>> REALLY NICE. >> CONGRATS, WILL.

>> SUMMER ISSUE OF

Gloria Gaither talks about being a mother - Duration: 9:54.

SHE CHANGED OUR LIVES.

AND SINCE THEN WE HAVE HAD TWO

MORE

AMY IS TEN AND BENJI IS NINE

AND WE SING ON THE WEEKENDS.

AND WE STILL WRIGHT SONGS AND

BILL PUBLISHES THINGS AND I DO

WHAT MOST OF YOU MOTHERS DO ALL

WEEK LONG. TRY TO KEEP IT ALL

STRAIGHT. WELL JUST TAKE THIS

WEEK FOR INSTANCE. MONDAY

MORNING I HAD TO GET UP

REAL EARLY TO MAKE BENJY AND I

SOME BOLOGNA SANDWICHES,

BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO GO

WITH HIM ON HIS CLASS FIELD TRIP

AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR,

AND WE WENT TO THIS KIND

OF EARLY INDIANA VILLAGE

ON THE SCHOOL BUS,

AND THEN WHEN WE CAME HOME,

I HAD TO GO BACK

INTO THE SCHOOL, BECAUSE AMY HAD

WANTED ME TO STOP BY.

HER CLASS WAS SEEING

A SEX EDUCATION FILM,

AND SHE WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS

ABOUT SEEING IT BY HERSELF.

SO I WENT BACK IN TO SEE IT

WITH HER, AND...

WASN'T THAT BIG A DEAL.

EVEN SHE SAID IT WASN'T.

[laughing]

BUT THEN, THEN I RUSHED HOME

BEFORE THEY GOT OUT OF SCHOOL

AND MADE A COUPLE PUMPKIN PIES

AND GOT THINGS READY,

BECAUSE BILL HAD INVITED

SOME PEOPLE FOR DINNER,

AND I RAN BACK AND PICKED UP

THE KIDS FROM SCHOOL,

AND I CAME BACK AND PUT

THE DINNER ON THE TABLE,

AND WE VISITED WITH THE COMPANY

FOR THE EVENING.

THEN IT WAS TUESDAY.

THEN ALL DAY TUESDAY,

WE WROTE ON A MUSICAL

THAT WE'RE WORKING ON,

AND I HAD TO REMEMBER TO GET

THE GROCERIES,

BECAUSE WE'RE OUT OF EVERYTHING.

AND I WENT BY THE DRUGSTORE

ON THE WAY TO GET THE GROCERIES,

BECAUSE AMY--

I HAD TO GET HER ONE OF THOSE,

YOU KNOW, SCHOLL'S THINGS

TO PUT ON HER FOOT,

BECAUSE SHE HAS THIS WART

ON BOTTOM OF HER FOOT.

AND I HAD TO REMEMBER TO GET

BENJY A NEW KICK BALL,

BECAUSE HE KICKED HIS OTHER ONE

INTO THE THORN TREE

AND MADE A HOLE IN IT.

AND THEN AFTER SCHOOL,

I HAD TO PICK UP SUZANNE

AND TAKE HER TO THE EYE DOCTOR,

BECAUSE SHE JUST GOT

A NEW PAIR OF CONTACTS,

AND THEY HAVE TO HAVE THEM

CHECKED A LOT TO SEE

IF SHE'S DOING OKAY.

THEN I WENT HOME,

AND THAT NIGHT WE KIND OF PLAYED

SOME BADMINTON,

AND WE DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING

VERY SPECIAL TO DO.

AND THEN ON WEDNESDAY,

WE WORKED ALL DAY ON SOME SONGS

THAT WE WERE WRITING ON,

AND THEN AFTER SCHOOL,

I HAD TO PICK UP THE KIDS,

BECAUSE WEDNESDAY, SEE,

IS OUR PIANO LESSON DAY,

AND I HAVE TO REMEMBER

TO TAKE SUZANNE, FIRST, TO OBOE,

BECAUSE THEN SHE CAN

TAKE HER OBOE LESSON

WHILE AMY'S TAKING

THE FIRST PIANO LESSON,

BECAUSE SOON AS AMY TAKES HER

PIANO LESSON,

THEN SHE HAS TO GO TO FLUTE.

AND SO I TAKE HER TO FLUTE,

AND BENJY TAKES THE SECOND PIANO

LESSON WHILE I GO PICK UP

SUZANNE FROM OBOE.

AND THEN, BEFORE I GO

TO TAKE HER THERE,

I STOP AT McDONALD'S

AND GET BENJY A HAMBURGER

BEFORE HE FAINTS.

[laughing]

AND THEN AFTER WE GOT DONE

WITH MUSIC LESSONS,

WE RUSHED HOME,

AND IN MY SPARE TIME--

[laughing]

IN MY SPARE TIME,

I PICKED UP THE BIBLE,

AND IT SAID, "AND THOU SHALT

LOVE THE LORD THY GOD

WITH ALL THY HEART

AND WITH ALL THY SOUL

AND WITH ALL THY MIND

AND WITH ALL THY STRENGTH.

AND THOU SHALT TEACH IT

DILIGENTLY TO THY CHILDREN

WHEN THOU RISES UP

AND WHEN THOU SITTEST

AT THY TABLE

AND WHEN THOU WALKEST BY THE WAY

AND WHEN THOU LIEST DOWN.

AND THOU SHALT WRITE IT

ON THE TABLETS OF THEIR HEARTS

AND ON THE DOOR POSTS

OF YOUR HOME,

AND TIE IT AS FRONTLETS

BEFORE THEIR EYES."

AND I THOUGHT,

"I REMEMBERED TO GET AMY

SOME NEW TENNIS SHOES,

AND I HELPED BENJY

WITH HIS INDIANA HISTORY,

AND I TOOK SUZANNE

TO BAND PRACTICE,

BUT WHEN DID I TEACH THEM

TO LOVE THE LORD THY GOD

WITH ALL THY HEART

AND WITH ALL THY SOUL

AND WITH ALL THY MIND?"

AND I REMEMBERED TO TELL THEM

TO SAY "PLEASE" AND "THANK YOU"

AND TO WRITE NOTES WHEN

THEY'D BEEN AT SOMEONE'S HOUSE.

AND I TOLD AMY TO MAKE SURE

AND MAKE HER BED,

BUT WHEN DID I TELL THEM

THE THINGS THAT ARE GOING

TO LAST FOREVER?

AND AT NIGHT WHEN I LIE DOWN,

AND I AM SO EXHAUSTED

FROM ALL THE THINGS

I DO ALL DAY, A LOT OF TIMES,

I THINK BACK OVER IT,

AND IT'S ALL GOOD STUFF.

THINGS THAT I HAD TO DO.

AND YET, WHEN I SORT IT ALL OUT,

I SOMETIMES HAVE A HARD TIME

FINDING THE THINGS,

IN THE LIGHT OF ETERNITY,

THAT ARE GOING TO LIVE

FOREVER.

SO I SAT DOWN

AND MADE ANOTHER LIST,

AND I SHOWED IT TO BILL,

AND WE MADE IT INTO A SONG,

AND WE BROUGHT IT HERE TONIGHT.

IT'S JUST NEW.

IT'S JUST CALLED SOME THINGS

I MUST TELL THE CHILDREN.

[gentle guitar music]

>> HOW CAN WE TELL YOU

THE THINGS WE MUST TELL YOU,

THE THINGS

THAT WE WANT YOU TO KNOW,

ALL ABOUT LIVING

AND REASONS FOR GIVING

AND THINGS

THAT WILL HELP YOU TO GROW.

YOU KNOW,

WE'VE WATCHED YOUR DIET

AND TAUGHT YOU TO BE QUIET

IN PLACES OF WORSHIP

AND SCHOOL.

WE'VE KEPT YOU WELL-GROOMED

WITH A NICE, TIDY ROOM,

WE'VE MENTIONED

THE GOLDEN RULE,

BUT ALONG THE WAY

DID YOUR HEART HEAR US SAY

THAT YOU DON'T HAVE

TO EARN OUR LOVE?

'CAUSE NOT A THING

YOU COULD DO

COULD MAKE US

STOP LOVING YOU.

JUST THE JOY

THAT YOU BROUGHT IS ENOUGH.

THERE ISN'T A THING

THAT THE FUTURE MIGHT BRING

THAT COULD TAKE BACK

THE GIFT THAT YOU ARE.

YOU ARE A TREASURE

WE NEVER COULD MEASURE.

JUST SOME THINGS

WE MUST TELL THE CHILDREN.

I AM SURE WE'VE TOLD YOU

TO MIND ALL YOUR MANNERS

AND GET TO APPOINTMENTS

ON TIME.

AND HOW MANY TIMES

HAVE WE TOLD YOU

TO HANG UP YOUR CLOTHES

AND FINISH

THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNED?

LITTLE ONE,

YOU'VE LEARNED TO CARE

FOR YOUR TEETH

AND YOUR HAIR,

AND YOU MAKE

YOUR OWN BEDS EVERY DAY.

YOU GOT DECENT GRADES,

AND YOUR LUNCH MONEY'S PAID,

AND YOU WON

YOUR FIRST GAME YESTERDAY,

BUT DID WE MAKE IT CLEAR,

WERE YOU ABLE TO HEAR

AS YOU SKIPPED

THROUGH THE HOUSE

AND OUR LIVES,

THAT GOD HAS A PLAN

THAT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND

NO MATTER HOW MUCH

YOU ARRIVE.

NEVER STOP DREAMING,

KEEP WORKING AND SINGING,

BUT REMEMBER

JUST WHOSE CHILD YOU ARE.

STAND TALL

AND WALK STRAIGHT

AND BE HOME BEFORE 8:00,

JUST SOME THINGS

I MUST TELL YOU CHILDREN.

JUST ONE MORE THING.

WHATEVER YOU DO,

REMEMBER

WE LOVE YOU.

JUST SOME THINGS

I MUST TELL THE CHILDREN.

[applause]

One Question: What can neuroscience tell us about anorexia? - Duration: 1:30.

Anorexia nervosa is a complex mental

illness with symptoms of severe

weight loss and this comes from

excessive dieting and excessive exercise

Patients are hungry, they're starving but

they are unable to eat because they are

so fearful of gaining weight and because

when they see themselves in the mirror

they think they look fat even though they are not.

The malnutrition

and depression that accompanies anorexia

nervosa makes this the deadliest of all

mental illnesses. Many think that

illness is due to media and society,

however, neuroscientists have shown that

ordinary female adolescent rats and mice

can be induced to become anorexic too.

So, neuroscientists are able to use the

animal model to answer the question:

What about hunger changes the brain to evoke

excessive exercise and voluntary food restriction.

What might be the

differences amongst individuals that

make some of them more at-risk?

Answerse to these questions should help us with

designing new pharmacological treatments

that can put a break on the

maladaptive behavior and also protect the

recovered patients from relapsing.
