How I Edit My YouTube Videos! - Duration: 36:55.

What's up, what's good guys, my name is Aldrin, welcome to another video on my channel!
And I know it's been a while since I have made a video
That's because I've been really busy. 'Cause we moved.
But in this video is a request that has been waiting for a while now and the request is
How I edit my videos. How do I do that? the process is actually quite simple if you have
a creative mind because
For me when I edit my videos
I usually imagine like what I want it to look like
So sometimes it can be inspired by others, other youtubers! When I do edits
I think of like Sam holder or Matt Komo and all those other big editors like Ryan Nang-
I don't know how to pronounc-Ryan Nangle
Yeah, but those are like really
Good editors that I get inspired from to make my edits for my main videos like this one
I usually just
Think of like a TV show sort of and then I edit like a TV show... Without further ado
Let me show you how I edit my videos and let's jump into Premiere Pro, which is where I edit my videos

So now you can see my desktop so before I start editing I always import my videos which I have already done
And I've placed them in this folder where I keep a lot of my
Music the effects LUTs sound effects software's I've also recorded my voice on a software
adobe audition

Records and can edit sound so yeah
I've recorded two because this is what I recorded for what we are gonna be editing today
This is for the video that I am doing right now, but right now the audio is recording with QuickTime Player
So that's why I don't have adobe audition on i've already have the videos in and it's in a folder called edit
This is the video
That's the video that we're gonna be editing today is which is how or I mean?
Which is what I use to make my videos I have
another USB where I
store my files of Premiere Pro where the cache goes to and all those stuff is connected to my
Seagate
One terabyte us be my backup drive. I have a folder called YouTube here and then there
I just placed my intro in there and
When I export my videos I would export them in this folder so now that I have that
inside my
computer
I'm going to open up Premiere Pro now that I've got Premiere Pro
Open select a new project and named it what I use because the video that I'm editing is

Drive here, so all the media and all that goes in here
And it doesn't take space in my computer because you can see right now
I don't have that much space here, and I have a ton of space in here
683 gigabytes free
So let's click OK now. I like to use the tabs at the top here because they'repretty convenient right now. Let's locate the video
That we're gonna edit so this is the video
These two videos are the video right now that you just saw
That is in this video this one was in the beginning
It's gonna be the end and I will double click on this and let's go to the very beginning
And I'd like to scroll through to see where I should start my video
So I just use the keyboard L. K. And J. L is when I
Need to play the video normally K to stop it J's to pull backwards, and if I press L
Twice then it goes faster press J twice, and it goes backwards faster
So if I want to scroll through faster, I just go like this
It's kind of laggy right now

So now let's just zoom in a bit into the timeline and let's see which parts we need to cut out

I'd say you should do basic cuts before you do that, but I feel like this might be easier

Is that they have a snapping and unsnapping tool so if I unsnap then you can move this freely?
It doesn't snap on to anything if I turn on the snap it will automatically snap on to the next clip

coming up absolutely supervise me there should be Monday Wednesday and Friday so

one okay try to block of time in advance so you know that you're free for an hour

you're gonna batch record something might come up you might get called out

couple of weeks in advance you'll know that you have to go shopping you have to
go to work that day nothing can come up and stop you tip number two be well
rested eat breakfast listen to awesome music and really get yourself pumped up
to bat record you want to be in a good mood so listen the music could make you
amped up you feel really good you want to record videos and you'll be in your
best state tip number three have multiple water bottles ready when you're
recording you know four videos five videos like I have if you have water
bodies your mouth you'll get really really dry that means your voice won't
sound is nice and your videos won't be as good and it also won't be good for
you so multiple water bottles you ready so you can just drink water to take a
break every couple of seconds of a couple of minutes whenever you need it
and that way you'll stay hydrated your voice you'll stay awesome and you make
better videos tip number four take a break between recording videos then you
press start stop start stop every time you finish the video take poolish maybe
a minute break between each video two minutes break between this video that
way you can rest your voice and rest your mind if you're talking constantly
for an hour your voice you're gonna hurt let's take a break cool down go for a
walk whatever it is you need to do just take a little while you know a couple of
minutes break between each video to keep yourself focus and the tip number five
that's recording videos isn't the only thing you can batch you can batch edit
you can batch the plan you can batch optimize you can back to almost anything
when it comes to YouTube so why'd you stop a batch according that's
edit your videos batch optimized that's whatever it is you need to do and that
way you can get more done faster you'll already be on a roll if you're editing
you're going to be in the editing roll your hands forget faster because you
have muscle memory you know you've done it for half an hour if you do the half
an hour more you know you won't have to rethink refocusing what you're doing you
already be in that state of mind like I'm editing a garnish I can keep doing
this that way you'll be more efficient at what you're doing and you'll get more

People often download the videos of big YouTubers just incase they delete them - and weve got

Starting off at number 10 we have the Dark Sykes Kickstarter Crap.
This iDubbz video is from 2014 - well before he became the household YouTube name he is
today.
This series sees him review the business pitches of people on Kickstarter and they don't get
much weirder than this one - a dating simulation for Bronies - usually grown men who are obsessed
with my little pony.
Well, iDubbz laid into them hard by mocking the entire project but also by calling it
out as a big fat scam.
The video went up but not many people got to watch it before the developers of the Brony
dating simulation got Idubbz video taken down because of copyright infringement.
This was his first ever copyright strike.

Coming in at number 9 we have My New Car.
This PewdiePie video from early 2016 was a pretty funny parody on all the -My New Car-
videos that you see on YouTube.
You know the ones I mean, a YouTuber gets a bit of money and they spend that on a fancy
car and make a fancy video to show it off.
PewdiePies car wasnt quite so fancy, it was a second hand Nisan Micra.
Seems like a harmless video right?
Why was it taken down?
Well the song poked by fun at YouTube KSI who loved showing off his Lamborghini so much,
he even made a song about it.
PewdiePie blasted that song out of his new car in the video and so KSI had it taken down
for copyright infringement.
Luckily, some clever people downloaded it before that happened …

Next up at number 8 we have Minecraft Cribbs.
This video by Vanoss gaming was uploaded in 2016 and at first glance, it looks obvious
why YouTube took it down.
The title contains the word racist and the first house that Vanoss visits in his Minecraft
Cribs episode is actually a giant uh - well if you know you know.
YouTube probably refers to that as not -advertiser friendly-.
Surprisingly though, it was actually the rap song that Vanoss put in the background of
the video that got the whole thing taken down.
Were not gonna play it though because, you know, this would be taken down …

Coming in at number 7 we have the H3H3 Rant.
This video was uploaded by Leafy Is Here in 2016 at the height of the YouTube drama between
him and Ethan from H3H3 Productions.
It all revolved around Ethan calling Leafy out as being -cancerous- for YouTube and essentially
bullying anyone he could just to get views.
This video was Leafys reply in which he said Ethan was being hypocritical and proceeded
to show private messages between the two of them where Ethan was praising him for his
work just a few weeks before.
Eventually - they both squashed their beef and removed the rant videos they had made
about each other.

Next up at number 6 we have The 10 Year Old Girl Roast.
In 2016, Ricegum made a video where he bascially went through the instagram of a 10 year old
girl and just made fun of her - the way she dressed, the way she talked, her whole lifestyle
- everything.
Normally, this might get a few angry comments but Ricegum really messed up because this
10 year old was Alabama Barker - daughter of Blink 182s Travis Barker.
When Ricegums fans started pouring onto her instagram to give her even more abuse, Travis
lost it.
He tweeted out information about where Ricegum lived.
Soon after, the video was taken down - possibly for copyright or for harassment - we just
don't know.
As we all know, that was the last controversial video Ricegum ever made … ahem.

Coming in at number 5 now we have How To Be Alone.
This video was uploaded by Bashurverse - a YouTuber who has been gone for a while now.
Towards the end of his YouTube career there was a lot of controversy surrounding him but
regardless of what you thought of him - he always wore his heart on his sleeve.
Perhaps the best example is this video called How To Be Alone - a 4 minute long talk about
his breakup with his girlfriend.
He gets very emotional and talks about how alone he is now - his family and friends are
apparently thousands of miles away.
At one point he even finds her hair in the sink and breaks down even more.
It seems that in the light of day, Bashurverse didnt want everyone to seem him like this
and the video was taken down soon after …

At number 4 now we have Fiver.
This infamous Pewdiepie video was viewed by millions - Im sure many of you watched it
- but it has since been deleted.
Pewdiepie visited the site where for a small fee, you can get strangers around to perform
weird tasks for you.
Pewdiepie decided to test the limits of this and asked for a couple of guys on there to
hold up a sign saying -Death to all Jews- and then to say Subscribe to Keemstar.
Thats exactly what they did and it caused a lot of controversy.
Pewdiepie ended up apologising, losing his partnership with Makers Studios and taking
the video down …
Coming in at number 3 now we have Heres Whats Really Happening … This was a Jake Paul
vlog from 2017 where he discussed the drama surrounding Allissa Violet, Faze Banks and
Jake Paul.
Faze accused Jake of being abusive with his girlfriend Allisa who is Jakes ex girlfriend.
He replied by saying that Faze had assaulted his personal assistant at a party.
Faze denied that and got people who were at the party to back him up.
Blah blah blah, you get the idea.
This video of Jake discussing the issue with his brother Logan was deleted after the drama
died down.
Some people say it was out of respect because the matter was settled, others say it was
because Jake had been proven to be a liar.
We may never know the truth!
Or care.
Next up at number 2 we have 2017 New Years Resolution For White Guys.
This video was uploaded to YouTube by MTV and involves a group of people explaining
to White Men what their new years resoloutions should be - based on issues such as black
lives matter, womens rights and American politics.
A lot of people got quite incensed by this video and found it to be condescending, patronising
and pretty generalising.
Others defended it saying it was just a bit of fun or even totally correct.
As the internet argued about the videos content, MTV quietly took it down to avoid any more
heat …
And finally at number 1 we have the Craigslist Social Experiment.
This video was uploaded by Moe and Ethan Bradberry and involved them baiting people from Craigslist
into meeting them to buy or sell things.
However, the brothers didnt have anything - they just wanted to teach these people and
their viewers about internet safety.
So, they kidnapped the Craigslist people.
Thats right.
Wearing balaclavas and wielding fake knives, they smuggled these terrified people into
the backs of cars.
They then revealed that it was -just- a social experiment and preached to them about internet
safety.
These poor people were in tears.
H3H3 made a video ripping these guys a new one for such tasteless behaviour and eventually,
Moe and Ethan deleted the video.
Crazy stuff.
