Telepathy 'IF' We can read minds? - Duration: 9:04.

Hello welcome to if, today we talk about

Oh you did not hear what this video is about.

Well I guess you're not telepathic?

Or maybe my telepathic powers are not as strong as I thought.

All joking aside telepathy has long been a staple of magic tricks and comic book heroes

and villains.

But is there any evidence of real telepathic abilities or any chance that we could develop

them through natural or technological methods?

We are going to look at the evidence and the recent developments in telepathy and see if

there will be a time when we all become telepathic.

Move aside Charles Xavier.

It's time for us all to join the X-men.

First I guess we need to see if there is any hard proof of telepathy.

There has been much research into this field and some very grandiose claims.

However one animal that may have telepathic ability is man's best friend, the dog.

Those of you who are canine owners have probably noticed that your four legged friends are

often waiting at the door when you get home or that they become excited and look out of

windows shortly before a family member arrives at the house.

Is this because of the heightened senses of hearing and smell?

Scientist say "no" Biologist Dr Rupert Sheldrake, claims animals

possess powers of perception that go beyond the five known senses — namely telepathy.

Rupert said experiments for telephone telepathy were easy to set up by pointing a webcam or

video camera at the telephone.

Someone close to the dog would be asked to call the house at random times, as well as

person the animal didn't know, and the reactions would be monitored.

His results showed "Fifty per cent of the dogs knew when their

owners were coming home but the number of dogs who respond to the telephone was much

smaller" Rupert holds the view that a strong connection

exists between humans and animals that lies beyond current scientific understanding.

Another Recent Experiment, included monitoring the reactions of a dog while its owner was

out of the house.

The owner was made to travel at least five miles away from home to be out of smell and

hearing range, and then arrived home at a random time; other people in the household

weren't told when the owner would be back and the owner didn't know when to journey

home.

The owner was told at the last moment.

This Experiment also used different and unfamiliar methods of transport.

In 85 per cent of the cases the dogs went and waited at the front door.

These experiments seem to point to the existence of some kind of telepathic communication.

But what about the humans, maybe the dog owners are telepathically messaging the dogs and

not the other way around?

So do we humans have the gift?

There is an 8 year old boy, a super-human, genius who has shocked scientists with his

ability to READ MINDS.

Ramses Sanguino's spooky talent has leading neuroscientists declaring that "telepathy

exists".

The child prodigy, already knows seven languages, and has been described by experts as "one

of the smartest kids on the planet".

His mysterious telepathy has sent shockwaves around the world's scientific community.

Dr Diane Powell, who used to work at Harvard Medical School, has met the boy three times

and is now "confident that telepathy exists".

The prodigy is "believed to be so far ahead" of other children his age it is said that

he has the power to "change the world".

Let's hope he chooses the side of good!!

For this child it seems that telepathy along with a super intellect are things he was born

with, but what about the rest of us is there any hope we could at least become telepathic?

Maybe future technology will come to our aid.

Possibly through nanotech we could be texting in our heads, this new tech giving us an ability

that's indistinguishable from telepathy.

Our increasing ability to look inside the brain will lead to brain simulations, in turn

leading to better AI, and finally, brain uploading.

This mapping of the brain will enable thoughts to be transcribed into code and sent like

a regular sms.

Do you Think this sounds decades away.

MAYBE NOT!

Two men, 4,600 miles apart, have sent messages to each other using their minds.

A Blindfold covering his eyes, and earplugs cancelling out all sound, Dr Michel Berg sat

in his laboratory at the University of Strasbourg France, and began to think.

Some 5,000 miles away, at another research facility in India, another man named Dr Alejandro

Riera wore a tightly fitting hat, connected to a computer, and he also began to think.

For the next hour, the 51-year-old Dr Berg and his associate attempted to do something

that had only previously occurred in science fiction.

The aim was to send a simple message between the continents, without using any of the five

senses that human beings — and indeed animals —use to communicate.

PLOS ONE, a website used by academia, published its peer-reviewed scientific paper detailing

this experiments outcome.

The report's findings are sensational.

On that afternoon, Dr Berg and Dr Riera were indeed able to achieve 'conscious brain-to-brain

communication'.

The first scientifically documented telepathic conversation in human history.

A moment as important as Alexander Graham Bell asking "Mr. Watson--come here--I want

to see you."

A Brain-to-brain interface is made possible because of the way brain cells communicate

with each other.

Cell-to-cell communication occurs via a process known as synaptic transmission, this is where

chemical signals are passed between cells resulting in electrical spikes in activity

from the receiving cell.

Synaptic transmission is the basis of all brain activity, this includes motor control,

memory, perception and emotion.

Cells are connected in a network, brain activity produces a synchronised pulse of electrical

activity.

This is called a "brain wave".

These Brain waves change according to the cognitive processes that the brain is currently

working through, and are characterised by the time-frequency pattern of the up and down

states (oscillations).

Brainwaves are detected using a EEG.

This is where a swimming-cap like device is worn over the head and electrical activity

is detected via electrodes.

The pattern of activity is then recorded and interpreted using computer software.

The electrical nature of the brain allows not only for sending of signals, but also

for the receiving of electrical pulses.

These can be delivered in a non-invasive way using a technique called transcranial magnetic

stimulation So I guess we need that technology after all,

but that's okay even Professor X had Cerebro.

Wait one second there is still some hope of us having this sixth sense naturally.

A Maverick scientist thinks he has found a magnetic sixth sense in all humans

Joe Kirschvink has shown how critters across the animal kingdom navigate using magnetoreception,

or a sense of Earth's magnetic field.

He says that humans can possibly do the same and more.

This sense of magnetism interacts with the Earth's magnetic field and like animals

such as homing pigeons and others, we share this primal ability.

That means we have another sense which we could tap.

Our other five senses have all been used in communication first speech with the telephone

then video with the first smart phones and computers and even touch is now an everyday

part of our interaction with technology.

If this magnetic ability of the brain can be incorporated into new technologies we could

have access to messages being received directly to the brain.

Do you think telepathy is part of future?

Do you think it will come from nature or technology?

Let me know in the comments below Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed the

video.

I am sending you message ….. Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe

Hit that like button.

If your telepathic powers aren't receiving any messages head over to the social media

pages where you can use your regular five senses to see what's going on.

See you next time

Lost and Found - Jack Marshall Can't Do This - Webseries - Episode 11 - Duration: 4:46.

So, remember that girl's phone that I found in the last video?

I ran out of Davidson's Coffee Haus to try and find her, but she was gone.

So, I waited because who doesn't come back for their phone, right?

So, I walked around the corner to check some other stores.

I thought I saw her, so I ran after her.

I tripped.

I fell, and I shattered her screen.

So, I'm not gonna just return a shattered phone to Davidson's.

[doorbell chime]

I sent House to civilization the next morning to have it repaired

and, somewhere between having it fixed and returning it home safely,

he manages to drop it in a puddle.

Because what hasn't happened to this poor girl's phone yet?

[doorbell chimes]

House!

Couscous was all we had, so I stuffed it in a bowl and hoped for the best.

Finally, some good news.

The phone powers back on, the screen is now repaired,

and I'm gonna return it to Davidson's later this afternoon.

[multiple doorbell chimes]

[insistent knocking]

Just one second.

O.S.: Hello, Jack Marshall.

Uh, hi.

I believe you have something of mine?

Yes, right this way.

I went back to the coffee shop for my phone,

and they said that nobody turned it in.

Yes, so long story.

I bet because you had me going every which way, trying to track you on GPS.

I hadn't anticipated your crazy, disappearing, invisible ninja skills

Ah, well I think disappearing and invisible are the same thing.

No.

Disappearing is an act. Invisibility is a state of being.

So.

Where's my phone?

Right, yes.

What's it doing in there?

The important thing is that it is in one piece.

What, did you drop it in a sink or something?

It was a puddle, and it wasn't me. It wa- -

Doesn't matter. It's fixed and here it is.

What's that?

Oh, I do video blogs.

Is it recording right now?

Yeah, I mean I was in the middle of doing one when you, when you came in.

Uh-huh.

Right.

Well, thank you for taking such good care of my phone.

So, how'd you know my name?

Everyone knows your name.

So, did you know my aunt?

Yeah, I did. Did you?

What's that supposed to mean?

Look, people have lived around here for a very long time and no one's ever seen you.

Those people don't know me.

Yeah, well they knew Josette Marshall.

She was my aunt, okay? I loved her.

It's not that same as knowing her.

Well, I'm getting to know her.

How?

I'm throwing a m-memorial.

A memorial?

Yes, a memorial.

When?

December.

Well, I look forward to attending that.

Are you sure you won't be out of town?

I never go out of town. Why?

I don't know. You just mentioned Miami and Los Angeles

when you're on the phone at the coffee shop.

Wait, were you eavesdropping?

No, I was not. -That was a personal conversation.

Well, in my defense, it was hard not to hear you.

That doesn't make it okay.

I know, that's not what I'm saying.

How about you mind your own business and I'll mind mine, okay?

Well, how about you stop talking behind your boyfriend's back so everybody can hear it.

Oh, so now I have a boyfriend, too.

You don't?

That is also none of your business.

You know, people have private conversations that are very personal at coffee shops all the time.

Would you just relax?

Relax? Oh, so now you're telling me how I should feel, is that it?

No, that's not it.

Let me tell you something, Jack Marshall.

And let me be really clear about it for all your weird little stories.

You can walk around here like you know everything,

but let me tell you that people here, we see right through that.

We know exactly what you're doing here.

And it has nothing to do with your Aunt.

And you know what?

I don't want you looking for me.

I don't want you to talk to me.

I don't even want you thinking about me, if I'm being honest.

So, asking for your name is out of the question?

[door slams]

That's a solid no.

Emre Can rubbishes Anfield exit talk: I love playing for Liverpool - Duration: 2:24.

Emre Can rubbishes Anfield exit talk: I love playing for Liverpool

Emre Can has nine months left of his Liverpool deal.

The midfielders contract expires at the end of the season, and talks have stalled over an extension. Can is eligible to talk to clubs in January and sign a pre-contract for next season.

The 23-year-old has started all but two of Liverpools matches so far this term. And he has rubbished claims he is thinking about an Anfield exit.

I made forward steps in my three years here, he told the Times. It is my fourth season now in Liverpool and I played a lot of games. I am really enjoying being here. It is a great club.

Of course I can play better sometimes, I know that, but I think my development has been good so far. I try to be better and I train hard for that.

Why should my commitment be any different? I have a contract playing for the club, I earn my money here and I love to play for Liverpool. The Merseyside outfit have struggled for form this season.

Jurgen Klopps men already sit nine points behind league leaders Manchester City.

Emre Can is now a regular starter on Merseyside. However, Can insists the pressure to improve will spur his side on this season. It is always good to have positive pressure which motivates you to get better, he added.

If you play for a big club like Liverpool, the goal always has to be to win and you have to win titles. That is our aim. Hopefully this year we will do that..

Can Music Be Bad? - Duration: 5:06.

hey, welcome to 12tone! a while back I was talking with my brother, and he asked me a

pretty interesting question: can a song be bad?

not in a subjective sense, of course: no one's arguing that you can't listen to a song and

not enjoy it.

but can it be objectively bad? can you listen to it and conclude that not only do you not

enjoy it, but that anyone who does is wrong? and if you can, what sorts of criteria would

you use? from the perspective of a music theorist, what makes a song fundamentally not good?

well, a common complaint I see is simplicity.

the idea here is that some songs are too easy to write or to play, and that makes them lower

quality than more advanced compositions. this is often framed as a critique of modern popular

music, something along the lines of it being the same four chords over and over again.

and that's often true: a lot of pop music these days is just a four-chord loop throughout

the entire song.

but so is Stand By Me, and I don't hear many people calling that a bad song.

heck, forget four chords: Harlan Howard once described country music as "three chords and

the truth", a description that's also been applied to punk rock, the blues, and other

genres. the point is, simple music can still be emotionally powerful, and a song can be

important even if it's not hard to write.

so if difficulty's not a good measure, then how about technical proficiency? if the drummer

can't keep time, the singer can't find the key, the lyrics are sloppy and the instruments

are out of tune, that sounds pretty unenjoyable.

but does that make it objectively bad?

well, I'm not gonna say no here, but I will offer a counterexample: The Shaggs.

The Shaggs were a band made up of three sisters from New Hampshire whose father was convinced

due to a clairvoyant prediction from his mother that his daughters would form a popular band.

in order to facilitate that, he kept them out of school, stopped them from socializing,

and for some reason didn't let them listen to music.

they eventually recorded an album, called Philosophy of the World, and to put this as

nicely as I can, it had numerous technical flaws.

and yet legendary rocker Frank Zappa described the Shaggs as "better than the Beatles", and

other fans included Terry Adams and Kurt Cobain.

the album's gained a significant cult following, provoking arguments on whether it's the worst

album ever, or the best. and I have to admit, I find some of it oddly compelling.

it's almost beautiful in its lack of proficiency.

I may not listen to it very often, but I don't think I can really call it bad.

it is what it wants to be, and I have to respect that.

which brings up a promising criterion: artistic merit.

can we judge songs on that?

well, first we have to define it, but one view that I've often heard advocated is that

a song has artistic merit if it accurately conveys the artist's intent.

but I really don't like this answer: it frames art as primarily about expression, which makes

it static. the artist puts their meaning into it, and that's it.

there's nothing more to be said: anything you find in there that wasn't intentional

is a mistake, and should be viewed as a strike against the work of art.

but let me ask you a question: what are the lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody about?

do you have any idea?

'cause Freddy Mercury once described it as "random rhyming nonsense" and said "I think

people should just listen to it, think about it, and then make up their own minds as to

what it says to them."

it's possible it had a deeper meaning to Mercury, but we'll never know: he's sworn the band

to secrecy about any intended message.

so does that make the lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody bad, because they don't clearly communicate

Freddy Mercury's vision?

I don't think you'd find very many people willing to argue that case.

that's why I prefer a model of artistic merit based not on expression, but experience.

that is, it's not about the message the artist puts in, but the message the audience receives.

if the song moves you, it moves you, and it doesn't matter whether the artist meant to

or not.

problem is, that's inherently subjective.

even seemingly simple songs can have very different meanings to different listeners,

and when you get to things like Bohemian Rhapsody, the number of possible interpretations is

practically limitless, all of them valid.

some of those interpretations may be uncompelling, and if that's how you hear it then maybe you

won't enjoy the song, but I don't think you can really project that onto anyone else.

but there's one last criterion I could come up with, and I think it's simultaneously the

best and worst one: morality.

songs don't exist in a vacuum, and some of them wind up advocating for really problematic

ideas.

maybe they're playing into harmful stereotypes about women or relationships, or maybe they're

promoting despicable philosophies like white supremacy.

or maybe your problem isn't with the art but the artist.

maybe they're a known domestic abuser, or they're overtly racist, sexist, anti-LGBT,

or whatever.

all of those, I think, are strong reasons to not support their art, and to conclude

that other people shouldn't either.

but does that make the art itself bad?

that's a little harder to answer, and I'm not really sure.

like, the beat can still be catchy.

the chords can still be beautiful.

the lyrics can still be clever.

all the markings of a good song can be there, but artistic expression is inherently political

and I think it's fair to take political issue with it.

but is the message you're critiquing a part of the song itself, or is it a separate thing

entirely that has no impact on the quality of the song?

I don't know and, if I'm being honest, I don't think it's that important.

either way, the practical effect is the same.

so can a song be bad?

I don't think so.

not objectively, anyway.

again, this isn't to say that you have to like every song, but you can't really predict

how a song will impact someone else, and if it's popular enough that it manages to reach

your ears, there's gotta be something good there, even if you can't find it.

This Trade Scam can lose you Bank - Duration: 8:53.

ookay guys so you're gonna want to pay close attention to this video because

this is insane it's something like I have ever seen before in my life it is

genius I don't know if this scam is new or old

but like I said it is genius also we have the finale to the whole HD

bulge situation the guy who is banned at Cerberus I will talk about that will

plug that in at the end of the video briefly because I'm sure you guys are

tired but new stuff has popped up and it is interesting like always so anyway

let's talk about this new scam going on at this scam I should say I don't know

if this is new or old but there's an item called rabbit raw rabbit

roasted rabbit and the uncooked version is 400 GP in a GE but when you cook it

magically it is 10 K in a GE the cook version people don't buy for 10 K it's

like 600 GP but the GE represents rabbits raw I'm not wrong cook rabbits

410 came I went to the GE and I bought 6 K of them for 600 GP each so you know 6

times 7 that's like 5 point 6 mil it was like 56 mill people using this to trick

people like let's say someone was selling an Ag s they're gonna secretly

put rabbits in there like only 1k rabbits or something like that that's

crazy shout-out to my disco link to it will be

down below but I asked them for help basically I had everyone buy me 6 K not

everyone but people who wanted to do it the hat 6 mill I had them buy me 6 K

rabbits for like 5 mil and I paid him 8 mil so each trade they made Remo profit

I spent 70 mil on these rabbits it is 560 mill people could get huge discounts

on trades because people don't notice how much the rabbits are which to be

honest is crazy so yeah be careful of that if you see rabbits in the trade do

not accept the trade because it is a scam so that's why I wanted to let you

guys know really quickly now let's quickly talk about the whole HC Bulge

thing the guy who was banned and Cerberus the guy who has made everyone

talk about bug abuse and what is fair and what is not fair

first of all I want to give a big shout-out to HC bulge because he

commented on my last video and he gave us the reason as to why his post was

removed remember I kept asking like why was his write a post removed that's

weird is it an inside job no people simply reported it a lot so read it

March took it down but later on they they put it back up which is cool also

he gave us evidence I was a compound and what the mod portnow I'm not going to

show you everything that the mod wrote but basically the mod puts something

about his permanent ban being something to do with Cerberus Cerberus which is

cool now you could see the comment on the screen so you can read everything he

said but he does he makes a pretty good point a good point in his comment

because he says that him being banned just because he's a hardcore Ironman

flinching a boss is kind of unfair because there was another iron man who

bought at 99 thieving and only got a two-week man and if you think about it

what is worse him just say spotting a boss 60 times or another Ironman Boateng

having a robot through a whole skill for him now both or not they're the same but

they're not the same because Steven is pretty much safe right the ban was to do

with him doing a boss site is hard and dangerous safely but he does make a good

point I'll link the comment down below guys or if you want to read it also

we'll be linking this because Martin McKay responded formally to the whole

bug abuse topic that everyone has been talking about now I would love to talk

about the insides and outsides of what mod McKay put in the post but it's

decently long I'll link it down below so you guys can read it but this is what I

took from it and I'm pretty sure you guys would take different stuff from

what he said so I recommend you read what he said basically what mod my case

saying is that bug abuse is something that is dependent on a lot of factors

not just one factor it's not like biting or TT

if someone is caught boarding fans no questions asked if someone is called rwt

band no questions asked if someone is caught bug abusing it's not like boom

band it's more like you know what impacts is this guy having on our game

if it's too much we're gonna plan him and I do believe mom Nike said one of

the biggest reasons as to why this guy was banned hate see bulge was because he

was a hardcore I man safely keeping his status while killing a dangerous boss

which is pretty reasonable to me however there's a problem because Paul did the

exact same he's also a hardcore Ironman Martin Heike said that you know this guy

hate see bulge was telling other people about this bug that was another reason

well ironically their only reason as to why hate Sebald you know about this bug

was because paul told him who is a colossal e bigger streamer now there's a

difference between the two I mean the similarities but there's differences and

the similarities these guys have are making people mad a lot of people like

Paul should be bad Paul should be bad I don't believe so because again Paul has

killed Cerberus 1 K times he tried his meted out 20 40 times and that would

account to like what 2 percent of his kills but a lot of people do not agree

with me and that's fine to have disagreements not everyone not everyone

person thinks the same it's good to have disagreements but my opinion would be

like well you know he's killed at 1k times he's risked his account enough at

servers and I believe that's what tipped Jagex into not banning him because Paul

hasn't been banned people are saying stream of favoritism

who knows and lastly a friend himself made a whole video about this because

people were given a friendship saying a friend man dude you abuse the bugger

Cerberus you should be banned too now a friend did something completely

different to what Paul and hate see Balch did he wasn't he wasn't flinching

servers although he did flinch in the video by moving around that's different

type of flinching what hate she bought it was heel spam click in the boat so

the boss was stuck so then he could flinch it without

moving but a friend was doing a flit the flinch method where he was walking

around which is different but I mean that's a whole different story anyway

where people are giving a friend shit about it's the fact that he logged off

during the fight and that it stopped it goes from attacking him therefore you

know that's bug abuse he should be banned to and a friend is like no I mean

all he simply did he was said he's even said he was like all I simply did was

lock off that's like that's in the game bro anyone could lock off anytime you

know well you know was if you know his his refrigerator was running and he had

to log off during a fine he logged back in and the whole ghosts just happen to

not attack him you know but I see what he means it's completely it's completely

different what he did and I really don't know I recommend you check out the video

he also has his opinion on Paul and I believe HT bulge in this whole situation

so I recommend you check out his video too because it's interesting to see

people's different opinions on this and that's all I'm gonna say

SIMPLE Ways You Can Remember Your Dreams - Duration: 7:15.

Who doesn't like sleep?

Whether it's a short nap or an entire night's worth of snoozing, sleeping is one of the

best activities we can enjoy especially after a long and hard day.

What's even better is that, in sleep, we get to drift away to dreams that vary from

the mundane to the utterly bizarre.

I am pretty sure that some of us have dreamt of eating a giant, fluffy marshmallow only

to find out that we've been chewing on a pillow the moment we wake up.

But for most of us, we tend to only remember small fragments of our dreams – if not completely

forgetting them – and many of the details are lost in the ether despite how hard we

try digging deep in our memories.

It's frustrating, right?

Waking up not knowing what someone in your dreams was about to say to you when, suddenly,

your alarm buzzes you awake.

It's like watching a cliff-hanger episode of your favourite show only to find out that

the show won't get picked up for a new season.

That's why in today's video, we are going to explore the different kind of ways that

may help you to remember your dreams!

So start taking down notes because you may want to try a few of these when you go to

bed tonight!

THE DAILY JOURNAL Speaking of taking down notes, we begin with

the first method: writing a daily journal.

We're not talking about a dream journal where you write down bits and pieces of your

dreams after waking up; we are talking about writing down things and events that you have

observed during your waking hours.

The exercise helps in sharpening your memory and is helpful in terms of dream recollection.

What you only need to do is be a creative with your journaling.

For example, pick an event that happened during your day.

It does not have to be something extremely significant as long as you can narrate it

in writing.

Let's say you write about your trip to work, listing down and narrating the things that

happened from the moment you had your morning coffee to the time you clocked in at the office

and reached your desk.

Fill in those gaps and pretend that you are writing it down as if you were dreaming it.

Write it in present tense to encourage your brain to relive each moment.

The extent of writing and amount of detail is completely up to you because the point

of the exercise is to train your mind to remember dreams by teaching it to relive moments or

events that you are experiencing while awake.

If you do not know how to start, an easy way is to prompt yourself with simple questions

like: "what did I eat for breakfast?"; "what music did I listen to while getting

ready?"; or "how am I feeling today?"

B-VITAMINS BEFORE BEDTIME We already know the benefits our bodies get

from B-Vitamins especially in terms of increased brain activity and sharpened memory but taking

a vitamin B supplement before bed time can help you with dream recall.

Because of its ability to help in improved memory, B-vitamins can actually make your

dreams much more vivid and clearer, a quality that can help you remember them compared to

just recalling fuzzy fragments of a dream.

One specific B-vitamin called Choline Bitartrate is supposedly associated with increased dreaming.

This B-vitamin, however, is not normally included in B-complex supplements but can be purchased

on its own.

Some people take a B-complex supplement and Choline Bitatrate before bedtime to ensure

that they can dream in High Definition and remember it the next day.

Of course, with taking any supplements, it is better to consult with your doctor first

and know what will work best for you.

KICK THE CAFFEINE AND ALCOHOL HABIT Some of us love our coffee and some of us

love our wine.

While coffee may be a god way to give you that much needed boost to start your morning

and a few cocktails may help you unwind after a long week at work, alcohol and caffeine

can prevent you from recalling your dreams.

These two do so by interrupting your REM (Rapid Eye Movement) cycle in your sleep.

As studies have shown, dreams are more likely to happen – and have the potential to be

recalled later on – during the REM stage.

Consuming alcohol, especially a little too much, can shorten the amount of time your

body stays in REM while caffeinated drinks like coffee and some sodas can altogether

prevent you from falling asleep altogether.

But if you really have to have that after dinner coffee with your dessert or that glass

of wine, make sure to avoid consuming them at least two hours before you go to bed.

THE INARGUABLE POWER OF SUGGESTION At one point, we have all experienced just

how effective a suggestion can be.

This also applies in being able to remember your dreams.

Take some time to select a phrase or a statement in the present tense that you can use to condition

your mind and yourself throughout the day.

A simple statement like, "I remember my dreams quickly" can be repeated as a mantra

or a trigger for when you want to do dream recalls.

Also, stating your phrase in the present tense makes the suggestion much more effective and

"in the moment" rather than stating it as if it were an implied success in the future.

Once you have chosen your statement of phrase, you can now look for a "suggestion trigger".

For example, you recite the phrase in your head or out loud whenever you look at your

watch or your phone.

This helps condition your brain overtime and by the time you have to go to bed, you increase

your chances of clearly remembering your dreams.

You may also opt to write your phrase down in a sticky note and place it on your computer

screen or on the dashboard of your car.

It is all up to you as long as you are reminded of what your intent is and you see or say

it as an exercise.

GET ENOUGH SLEEP Obviously you can't dream if you aren't

asleep and getting the right amount of sleep is one of the best ways in recalling dreams.

We may not be fully aware of it but in a single night's sleep we have multiple dreams – one

dream per 90 minutes - that span different lengths from 10 minutes during the first dream

to 45 minutes – or even a full hour - after eight full hours of sleep.

Having an appropriate amount of sleep gives us the opportunity to dream longer periods

and are much closer together instead of having them appear fragmented or disjointed.

You may even have more than one dream during your sleep's REM stage and people who say

that they do not really dream simply do not recall them once they wake up.

According to sleep researchers, a dream is better remembered when a person awakes directly

from a dream instead of transitioning to another stage of sleep which is why people who get

night terrors oftentimes remember dream details much better than those who sleep peacefully.

Night terrors aside, however, getting an appropriate amount of sleep increases the mind's chance

of remembering dreams because it is a fact that brain activity is peaked when we are

asleep as it flushes out unnecessary information and toxins while we snooze.

WAKING UP PEACEFULLY Nothing is more jarring than being jolted

awake by an alarm clock in the morning.

It does wake you up but it does little to help you recall your dreams.

To many people, recalling dreams comes easily when they wake up naturally and peacefully.

A peaceful way of waking up allows our minds to process our dreams and lets it stay a little

longer in our consciousness especially after rising from the REM stage of sleep.

While it is understandable that we all have busy lives and need the aid of an alarm clock

to get up in the morning, there is always opportunity to practice dream recall during

weekends or when you are on vacation because you are giving your body clock the opportunity

to function naturally and wake you up after being fully rested.

Imagine your mind as a well-organised bookshelf after waking up peacefully where each book

can be accessed quite easily.

Now, imagine that same bookshelf being shaken and tossed around when you are woken up by

the loud buzzing of an alarm clock.

It is quite impossible to retrieve bits of information from that shelf after each book

has been thrown and flung around by a loud, shrill noise.

Like many things, recalling dreams takes practice and patience and it is best to take every

opportunity that comes your way to teach your mind how to recall dreams.

Kokoro's Eternal Hallowe'en - Chapter 2 - Someone Who Can Win Against Onee-chan - Duration: 4:51.

--Udagawa Household: Living Room--

Ako: Onee-chan, you were later than usual getting home today. Did you have Afterglow practice?

Tomoe: No, I was talking with Himari about tomorrow.

Ako: Is there something happening?

Tomoe: We were invited by Kokoro to join in with a Hallowe'en event.

We're doing a competition to see which team can get the most sweets from the shopping district people through trick-or-treating.

Ako: Really!? That sounds fun! I want to join in too!

Tomoe: Even if you say that, I'm only a participant… Kokoro's the one organising it so you'll need to ask her.

Tomoe: Also, we're participating in teams of two, and you'll need a costume for it. Ako, will you make it in time for tomorrow?

Ako: Hmm...who's in your team Onee-chan?

Tomoe: I'm with Himari. Kokoro is with Misaki, and Rimi is….

Well, I don't know who she's teamed with, but I think she has a partner

Ako: ...Okay! In that case, I'll find someone who'll participate with me tomorrow, then try asking Kokoro whether we can join after that!

Ako: And for the costume, I have a lot of stuff so I think I can work something out!

Tomoe: I see. I'll be rooting for you to be able to make it.

Ako: Onee-chan, thank you!

Ehehe~, who shall I team up with I wonder~?

(In any case, if I'm participating, I'll want to win...but Onee-chan will be a super formidable opponent.)

Someone who can beat Onee-chan...someone who can beat Onee-chan…

Tomoe: Ako, what's wrong?

Ako: Hmmmm……

--The Next Day--

--Haneoka Girls Academy: Main Gate--

Ako: ...Ah, she's here! Yukina-sa~n! Good morning!

Yukina: Ako?

Lisa: Morning, Ako. What's wrong, coming all the way here? Did something happen??

Ako: Lisa-nee, morning! Actually, there's a favour I want to ask Yukina-san for!!

Yukina: Is it something you have to do now? We're in front of school, and I don't have much time.

Ako: Don't worry! It won't take long!

Um, Yukina-san! Please take part in today's Hallowe'en event with me!

Yukina: Hallowe'en…? I'm sorry, but I have no interest in events like that.

Ako: B-But, it has to be you! The event's a competition and Onee-chan's going to be taking part too!

In order to win, I'll have to beat Onee-chan! There's no one else but you who can win against Onee-chan, so please!

Lisa: Yukina, why don't you do it? You should, for a change of pace♪

You said you were finding it difficult to get ideas for a new song weren't you?

You might get an amazing idea by doing something you don't normally do like a Hallowe'en event!

Yukina: ...I wonder about that. I don't think that's a very convincing argument…

Ako: Yukina-san, please please pleeeeaaaase!

Lisa: Yukina♪ Ako came and asked you specifically for it, so go and do it with her~ We have no practice today too.

Yukina: I guess, you do have a point…

…...fine. I'll join in.

Ako: Yaay~! Thank you so much! Yukina-san!!

I'll get the costumes ready for both of us so don't worry about that!

Yukina: Costumes…? What do you mean?

Ako: It's a Hallowe'en event so we're dressing up. I'm going with a fallen angel motif for my costume, and I'll get cat ears and a tail for you!

Yukina: Cat ears and...a tail…? I'm going to wear those…?

Ako: Yes, you are! Let's beat Onee-chan with a cat costume!

Lisa: That sounds good, cat ears. We might end up wearing that kind of outfit for Roselia later on.

So, think of this as practice for that, okay♪

Yukina: ...I don't get it. Wearing a costume like that for Roselia later on…

Ako: Yukina-san, you won't wear it…?

Yukina: …...Haa. Fine. I'll wear the costume that you pick.

Ako: Yay! Thank you so much, Yukina-san!

In that case, I'll come and meet you at your class after school! Let's aim for victory together!

Rafa Benitez: Newcastle takeover can take club right to the top - Duration: 3:24.

Rafa Benitez: Newcastle takeover can take club right to the top

Rafa Benitez believes the Newcastle takeover can spur the club on. Mike Ashley's decision to sell up and news that Amanda Staveley's mega-rich PCP Partners Group, have emerged as frontunners to buy him out has sparked mass excitement on Tyneside.

And while Benitez insists his focus is on today's home game against Crystal Palace, he knows new owners could see Newcastle fulfilling their vast potential.

Five parties have signed non-disclosure agreements and are undertaking due diligence with Staveley's Middle East-based group, worth £30billion, understood to be willing to plough up to £200m into team-strengthening.

Benitez revealed he's preparing for all scenarios, including one in which he hits the transfer jackpot. "When I signed here, it was because I could see the potential and not just because of the fans and the city," he said.

"This is one of the top sides in England if you put everything together. "The question is, is it reaching its level? Obviously, no. Can we do it? I think so. "We have to do everything right.

It is not just if you have money, you have to have the right players with the right mentality here." Nevertheless, Benitez knows his hand could be significantly strengthened if new owners provide him with more funds than Ashley did in the summer.

And that's why preparing for different scenarios by drawing up a series of shopping lists for the transfer window. "First of all, you have to look for the best players in the market," he added.

"Afterwards, you think of second, third and fourth options.

"It is too early but we have been working hard and will have the targets identified." Benitez expects a frenzied atmosphere inside St James' Park with the Toon Army celebrating news that Ashley could be on his way out.

His job, he insists, is to ensure the players aren't distracted by the takeover talk. "I know from reading the press in the last few days, it's really important for everyone here," he said.

"But I will not change my approach for this game nor for the next few games. It doesn't change anything for me.

"If we have money in January or we don't, we still have to do our job and be sure the players are focused.".
