N'Golo Kante fit for Roma but may be left out with Victor Moses still crocked

ANTONIO CONTE has been given a boost with key man N'Golo Kante available to face Roma tomorrow night.

However, the Chelsea boss is unsure if the midfielder will start after missing the last five games with a hamstring injury.

NGolo Kante is available to face Roma but may be left out altogether.

And there's bad news regarding wing-back Victor Moses, who remains out with his own hamstring woes.

But Conte must first decide whether to risk Kante in Tuesday's Champions League clash at the Stadio Olimpico, with Roma coming close to a shock upset in the last meeting at Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard salvaged a point for Chelsea in a thrilling 3-3 draw, and Kante's energy in midfield could be needed to tame influential Roma engine Radja Nainggolan.

However, Conte insists he won't gamble with the Frenchman's fitness and will also give the player his own say, with a Premier League battle against Manchester United looming on the horizon.

Victor Moses remains out with a hamstring injury.

Conte said: "We had three starts out, but we have recovered [Danny] Drinkwater and Kante.

Moses needs more time.

"Kante trained with us, also before the game at Bournemouth.

I think it is very important in this moment to speak to the player.

"I was a player and I know very well after an injury, a bad injury, it is very important to listen to the player.

"For him and the team, tomorrow we try to make the best decision.

Antonio Conte has some big decisions to make by tomorrow night.

Chelsea have been boosted by Danny Drinkwaters return to full fitness.

World War 3: Kim Jong-un's master strategy REVEALED but he fears his regime collapsing - Duration: 4:13.

World War 3: Kim Jong-un's master strategy REVEALED but he fears his regime collapsing

's nuclear threat has been accelerating but Jack Keane, former Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Army, has spoken out about Kim Jong-un's brutal strategy.  fears the collapse of the rogue state, and believes the United States will accept the dictator being in control of nuclear weapons, it has been claimed.

Speaking on Fox News, Mr Keane opened up on the growing threat of the dictator but said Kim Jong-un fears his regime collapsing after sanctions were imposed on the state.  He said: "Director Pompeo said a week ago that this North Korean threat indeed was getting much closer and Secretary Mattis gets those briefings on a regular basis so let's take them at face value.   .

"I think what they are trying to tell us is what Kim Jong-un has done all along is he is trying to accelerate the militarisation of nuclear weapons so he can put them on Intercontinental Ballistic Missile that can reach the United States.  "He wanted to get that done before these sanctions really start collapsing the regime.  "He believes in his mind that once he has this capability that opposed to the United States attacking him, because he has it, he believes the United States will accept it, because we accept that nuclear bombs going back to 2005 when his father had developed that strategy." North Korea has been increasing their threats to the US and has ramped up testing of nuclear weapons in recent months.  Tragedy hit the hermit kingdom at its nuclear test site in when 100 people were killed after a tunnel collapsed.

Another 1000 rescue workers died trying to save those trapped. News of the shocking incident was revealed by Japanese media on Tuesday, although they did not clarify when the tragedy occurred.

The most recent nuclear test took place on September 3 at the Punggye-ri Test Site which registered as a 5. 7 magnitude earthquake by the South Korean government.

Kim Jong-un also issued another warning to the US as a senior diplomat from Pyongyang said the threat of a possible atmospheric nuclear test over the Pacific Ocean should be taken "literally".

The US President is set to visit Asia this week in a bid to highlight his campaign to put pressure on the rogue state and its nuclear programmes.

President Trump will visit South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam and the Philippines, but fears have been raised that the visit could trigger World War 3.

The US has deployed nuclear bombers to the Pacific ahead of the Asia tour. Pyongyang has been told to abandon its nuclear programme by defence officials from the US, South Korea and Japan.

North Korea were given fresh sanctions agreed by the UN which would limit countries from importing North Korean crude oil, iron, lead and coal. The US President has called for China to do more to pressurise North Korea by implementing the sanctions.

2.5 degrees Celsius while Daejeon had a low of 0.6 degrees.

And it comes to no surprise that ski resorts are getting ready for ski season,... pouring

snow onto the slopes.

But good news, temperatures will rebound this afternoon in most cities hovering above the

seasonal averages under plenty of sunshine.

Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Jeju will get up to 17 degrees Celsius.

Enjoy the somewhat mild conditions for the next couple of days.

The autumn cold snap will return this weekend.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While most regions in South Korea will see the brief cold snap easing up this afternoon,

North Korea will have similar weather conditions to the South under mostly sunny skies.

As for major cities in Asia,.. those in Beijing will also need to be aware of big gaps in

readings of 10 degrees Celsius, getting up to 15 degrees on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Melbourne and Wellington will be under mostly sunny skies with highs of 16

and 19 degrees.

Heading to North America, Chicago and Montreal will have a chilly and sunny Tuesday with

single digit afternoon highs.

As for South America, Buenos Aires will be under mostly sunny skies.

Taking you to Europe,...those in Moscow will see a mix of rain and snow on Tuesday and

brace for freezing conditions through Thursday.

Lastly to Africa, major cities will be under mostly sunny skies,... while Cape Town will

be rainy.

Sorry, but Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz wouldn't be this good with Browns - Duration: 6:26.

Sorry, but Deshaun Watson, Carson Wentz wouldn't be this good with Browns

Every time Deshaun Watson puts up video game-like stats for the Texans and Carson Wentz delivers a win for the Eagles, it happens.

While Watson and Wentz are looking like long-term franchise quarterbacks in the NFL, everybody keeps bringing up the team that traded out of its opportunity to draft either QB — the Browns.

Whatever you think about Cleveland stockpiling picks vs. going for a potentially special talent, thinking Watson and Wentz would be doing what they are doing this season if they were in Cleveland is futile and misguided.

In Houston and Philadelphia, Watson and Wentz both were put in much better positions for near-immediate success. So first off, comparing them to DeShone Kizers rookie struggles means little.

They entered the league as more polished and accomplished, big-armed, athletic passers, while Kizer was a more developmental type. Watson and Wentz clearly were better pro prospects and were drafted in the first round accordingly.

This is about whether the Browns would have provided Watson or Wentz the same favorable environment in which to thrive.

The answer is a resounding no.

Watson went to one of the leagues better head coaches/play-callers in Bill OBrien.

Although the Texans had a bit of an offensive line mess, especially with left tackle Duane Browns holdout, their gamebreaking skill players were tailored to Watsons strengths — scrambling to keep plays alive and running when necessary.

DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller are speedy wideouts with first-round pedigree, and Lamar Miller has proven reliable, durable and versatile as a feature back.

The Texans also had been a good team, having won two consecutive AFC South titles. The initial thought in selecting Watson was that he wouldnt need to do too much with J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus fronting a good defense.

Watson instead has had to become playmaker over caretaker by necessity, and he has done it with playground passing while he improves with every game.

The Eagles were a middle-of-the-pack NFC team when they moved up aggressively to get Wentz in the 2016 draft.

They felt good about some of their established offensive talent, especially with their strong offensive line and go-to tight end Zach Ertz, that another offensive-minded coach such as Doug Pederson could get much more out of the group than misfit Chip Kelly could.

The chance to make a late trade with Sam Bradford only allowed them to accelerate Wentzs anointment.

Wentz inherited good pass protection and a top security blanket, but with little else beyond that, he ended up producing only a slightly above-average rookie season.

The Eagles realized the need for a true No. 1 receiver to stretch the field and a big back to improve their rushing attack, and Alshon Jeffery and LeGarrette Blount were ideal available players.

Wentz showed the goods last season, and with key upgrades in top-level support, its not surprising to watch him put it all together in MVP-like form.

The Browns had their top left tackle in Joe Thomas, but only by adding guard Kevin Zeitler and center J.C.

Tretter did the line turn into somewhat of a strength in 2017. Their receiving corps has been a mess the past two seasons, and the one bright spot, Terrelle Pryor, has proved elsewhere that his production was more flash than substance.

Neither an aging Gary Barnidge last year nor a fresh David Njoku this year is close to the top receiving options in Houston and Philadelphia.

Then theres Browns coach Hue Jackson. OBrien and Pederson had a much more successful track record working with QBs. Jackson got the best out of Andy Dalton, but thats about it.

OBrien, far removed from Tom Brady, was simply waiting for the Texans to actually go after a good QB. He still made Brian Hoyer and Ryan Fitzpatrick look better than they should have.

Peterson was made to be matched with a passer who shares the many positive attributes of Alex Smith, and there was a plan in place to pair him with Wentz.

Well never know how bad Watson and Wentz might have been in Cleveland, the NFLs QB graveyard. But, luckily, they were spared those potential early career-killing lumps, and both wound up in the good place.

For a pair of passers who led their college teams to national championships, the NFLs ultimate loser program would have affected their confidence, which has been huge for them with the Texans and Eagles.

Selfishly, for the rest of us who get treated to dazzling highlights from Watson and Wentz every week, the Browns taking one of them and ruining him would have been worse than passing on him in the draft.

'Fat but Fit'? The Controversy Continues - Duration: 8:02.

'Fat but Fit'? The Controversy Continues

Can you be fit and healthy, even if you're overweight? And will working out, despite the extra pounds, reduce your risk of a heart attack? The idea that you can be "fat but fit" has long been controversial.

While health experts endorse physical activity as beneficial, many doctors view the concept of being "fat but fit" with suspicion.

Now a new study, believed to be the largest of its kind, suggests that even when overweight or obese people are free of health complications, they are still more likely to develop heart disease than their peers who aren't overweight.

It didn't matter whether obese people were free from diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol, a condition sometimes referred to as "metabolically healthy obesity." As long as they were obese, they were at modestly higher risk for having a stroke, at nearly 50 percent greater risk of coronary heart disease and had nearly double the risk of developing heart failure than people who were not overweight and in similar metabolic health.

People who were metabolically healthy but considered merely overweight were at a 30 percent greater risk of coronary heart disease compared to their normal weight and metabolically healthy peers.

"The bottom line is that metabolically healthy obesity doesn't exist," said Dr.

Rishi Caleyachetty, of the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham in England, who was the lead author of the paper, published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

"Obesity is not a benign condition." But critics say the analysis, based on the electronic health records of 3.5 million British patients who were followed from 1995 to 2015, leaves a lot out.

Doctors' records don't typically capture lifestyle habits, so the study fails to account for the wide-ranging effects of diet.

They classify weight status by using body mass index, a formula based on height and weight that doesn't distinguish muscle from fat. Most important, critics say, such analyses don't take fitness level or physical activity into account.

Other studies have found a higher rate of heart failure among obese individuals, said Dr. Carl Lavie, the medical director of cardiac rehabilitation and preventive cardiology at the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans.

But when it comes to coronary heart disease outcomes, studies that take both weight and physical fitness into account have concluded that "fitness is more important than fatness," at least for the moderately obese, he said.

"For the very large number of people who are overweight or mildly obese, I don't think it's doomsday if they can keep themselves out of the low fitness level," Dr.

Caleyachetty, the author of the new paper, agreed that the lack of information about fitness and exercise was "an important caveat." "Those people who are metabolically healthy, obese and vigorously active may have a decreased risk of developing cardiovascular disease," he conceded.

Critics say that's an important message to convey, because many people will find it easier to embark on an exercise regimen and stick with it than to lose weight and maintain the weight loss.

"I do think that's a better message than telling people, 'You better not gain weight,'" Dr. "People aren't trying to gain weight.

They're not trying to get to be obese. A better message would be to tell people that if they get themselves to be more physically active, they can improve their prognosis, despite carrying a few extra pounds.

That's a better message, and a more obtainable message." But Jennifer W.

Bea, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Arizona Cancer Center who was a co-author of an editorial accompanying the new study, said, "we haven't heard the whole story yet" and questioned whether someone can be obese but "metabolically healthy." "Obesity itself is a metabolic disorder," Dr.

Bea said, noting that being overweight and obese is often associated with low-grade inflammation that may contribute to cardiovascular disease, regardless of metabolic measures. That doesn't mean that weight trumps all.

Indeed, the study found that individuals who were considered to be of normal weight but who had a single risk factor such as diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol were actually at greater risk for coronary heart disease than the healthy obese people.

"The messaging is always, 'lose weight no matter what,'" said Patrick Bradshaw, an epidemiologist at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. "But when you're at normal weight, you're not given a lot of lifestyle guidance.

Your doctor may say 'exercise and eat right,' but if you have these metabolic abnormalities you're at higher risk of disease, and you may need more intensive lifestyle modifications — not to lose weight, but to improve health." One of the messages of this new paper "is that metabolic health is important regardless of your weight," Dr.

That goes for people who are considered underweight as well.

The new study found, for example, that underweight individuals with no metabolic problems were at higher risk for stroke than normal weight, overweight or obese people with no metabolic problems, and if underweight people had metabolic issues, their risk increased even further.

Interestingly, while the risks of being overweight and obese draw scrutiny, doctors are often at a loss to explain the risks of being too thin.

But his latest tweet, sent minutes after opting out of the ATP Masters 1000 event, suggests hes really not too bothered.   Federer tweeted a picture of himself kissing the Swiss Indoors trophy for a record eighth time.

Alongside the picture, he wrote 8 is gr8 with a muscles and trophy emoji.   Federer pulled out the Paris Masters this week after winning the Swiss Indoors yesterday and the Shanghai Masters two week ago.

Nadal is 1,460 points clear of his great rival with only 1,500 up for grabs at the O2 Arena. It means the Spaniard only needs to win one match in Paris to rack up an unassailable lead.

But the Swiss 36-year-old revealed his body wasn't up to another event so quickly with the ATP World Tour Finals in London in mind.

Federer said: Im really sorry I am not participating in the Rolex Paris Masters this year, but my body needs some rest after the Basel tournament.

I have played a lot of tennis this season and I have to take care of my body if I want to continue playing at the highest level in the years to come.

In 2016, it was very painful to miss half of the season, so I learned from it.   Federers withdrawal is a major blow to the tournament, the final Masters event of the season, and tournament director Guy Forget said he was extremely disappointed.
