'We must unite against the US' North Korea calls on SWORN ENEMY to join war against Trump

NORTH Korea has shocked the world by offering an olive branch to their bitter enemies in

the south.

South Korea and Kim Jong-un's hermit nation are still technically at war and there's

no love lost between the rivals since the bloody 1950s war.

Kim's propaganda machine blasts South Korea on a regular basis for its ties with the US.

But they finally appear to have set aside the venom-spitting hostility and to offer

the possibility of a united Korea against the US.

Sworn enemies Kim and US President Donald Trump have traded vile threats of war over

the past few months – and the world is on the edge of war.

In Kim's mouthpiece newspaper Rodong Sinmun today the editorial slammed the South as "puppet

war maniacs".

But it added: "The situation requires all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad

to further their nationwide struggle to foil the US and its lackeys' moves for provoking

a war against the DPRK under the banner of the anti-US, anti-war struggle for protecting

peace."

"Peace should be achieved through resolute struggle against the war moves of the bellicose

forces at home and abroad," it continued.

"One is responsible for his or her own destiny and all Koreans in the north, the south and

abroad are responsible for the struggle for peace."

Rodong Sinmun then went on to set out its explanation as to why all Koreans should unite

against the US.

It continued: "All Koreans at home and abroad should stage more brisk nationwide struggle

against the US reckless moves for provoking a war against the DPRK.

"The South Korean people, irrespective of their ideology or political view, should turn

out in the anti-US, anti-war struggle for protecting peace in order to protect their

own lives and security.

"The danger of war can never be defused as long as the US imperialist forces are present

in South Korea."

This comes as today new pics were revealed of horrific North Korean gulags published

in a damning report.

Sick details emerged of just what goes on inside.

While it was also revealed today North Korea is developing "Devil's Venom" to wipe out

the US.

Putin the KINGMAKER: Donald Trump turning to RUSSIA to help US take down North Korea - Duration: 3:24.

Putin the KINGMAKER: Donald Trump turning to RUSSIA to help US take down North Korea

Vladimir Putin's regime is becoming the kingmaker as the knife-edge crisis worsens between Washington and Pyongyang. Russia is said to be increasingly becoming Kim Jong-un's preferred ally as China cracks down on North Korea.

US diplomats are reportedly being forced to seek out Putin – believing he can be more valuable than anyone in tackling Kim.

War fears have reached fever pitch in region as US General James Mattis warned of a massive military response as he visited the border of North Korea.

Kim has responded by promising to detonate a H-bomb over the Pacific, a move that could spark nuclear war.

"Russias going through the other way and hurting what were getting" Trump Russia has been calling for peace in the region, but has been accused of providing backdoor support for the regime.

Frosty relations also rage between the Kremlin and the White House as Putin is accused of fiddling with the US election. Washington's top envoy to North Korea Joseph Yun reportedly said he wants to increase ties with Moscow to tackle Kim.

Trump accused Putin of hurting US efforts to tackle North Korea – while at the same time praising China. The US president said: China is helping us and maybe Russias going through the other way and hurting what were getting.

I think we could have a good relationship. I think that the North Korean situation would be easier settled..

Russia shares a border with North Korea on its eastern frontier, and the two sides are traditionally strong allies. Putin himself met with Kim's father Kim Jong-il, and Russia supported the state during the Korean War.

Previously, Russia demanded the US stand down from North Korea as the Kremlin warned US escalation could spark war.

Moscow is reported to have hosted "back channel" talks between the US and North Korea at a disarmament conference.

Russia remains at odds with the US over hacking accusations as well as the war in Syria, the annexation of Crimea, and military build-ups in Baltic. Daily Star Online previously revealed which side Putin would take if the US attacked North Korea.

US vows 'massive military response' if North Korea fires nuke

Appearing in nearby Seoul, James Mad Dog Mattis answered questions on what to do with North Korea. He said that North Korea would never be accepted until it abandoned its nuclear regime.

He added: Any use of nuclear weapons will be met with a massive military response thats both effective and overwhelming..

Speaking after talks with his South Korean counterpart Song Young-moo, Mattis admitted that the North had accelerated its nuclear missile threat in recent months.

He also said: Make no mistake any attack on the United States, or our allies, will be defeated. Mattis has said that the US is not looking for war with the Hermit Kingdom, and is seeking a peaceful resolution to the situation.

Standing only metres away from the DMZ, Mattis urged Kim Jong-un to stop threatening others with disaster.

He added: As Secretary of State Tillerson has made clear, our goal is not war, but rather the complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. North Korea has told the world to take their threat to launch a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean as serious.

Defense chiefs of S. Korea, U.S. hold talks in Seoul on N. Korea, alliance - Duration: 1:47.

Our top story this afternoon...

A meeting between the defense chiefs of South Korea and the United States took place this

morning in Seoul.

Let's get all the details from our Oh Jung-hee,... who's on the phone for us from Seoul's Ministry

of National Defense.

Jung-hee, we're hearing the press conference is happening now.

Do we know what was discussed?

Hello, Myung-kil.

Less than an hour ago, South Korea's Defense Minister Song Young-moo and U.S. Defense Secretary

James Mattis held their annual Security Consultative Meeting.

This year's SCM marks the first since Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump took office earlier

this year.

As you say,... a joint press conference is taking place as we speak... so we are just

getting the details now.

But we know that ways to better deal with North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile

threats topped the agenda.

To better counter those threats, the U.S. could deploy strategic assets on a rotational

basis to the region... to further strengthen its military presence here and pressure Pyongyang.

And to strengthen Seoul's own defense capabilities,... the two have reportedly discussed Seoul's

development of its own nuclear-powered submarine... as well as follow-up measures in doubling

the maximum payload weight of its ballistic missiles... from 500 to 1,000 kilograms.

We also believe they've talked about the condition-based transfer of wartime operational control from

Washington to Seoul,... which is one of the key goals of the Moon Jae-in administration.

If all the conditions are met, the Moon administration aims to take back OPCON in the early 2020s.

In approximately three hours, there will be a closed-door briefing here at the ministry

about the details of the talks... so we will be back with more updates during our next

newscast.

Back to you, Myung-kil.

World War 3: US Vice President warns North Korea to 'NEVER DOUBT' America's military power - Duration: 3:33.

World War 3: US Vice President warns North Korea to 'NEVER DOUBT' America's military power

It comes as has been ramping up its missile technology with regular rocket tests, including two intercontinental ballistic missiles launches and its sixth nuclear bomb detonation earlier this year.

North Korea has also threatened to the and warned "should think twice about what terrible consequences the US will face".

Speaking at Minot Air Force Base, in North Dakota, Donald Trump's right hand man told the troops their commander-in-chief is depending on them to be ready".

Mr Pence said: "Our enemies should never doubt the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

"Anyone who would threaten our nation should know that America always seeks peace, but if we are forced to defend ourselves or our allies, we will do so with military power that is effective and overwhelming." His remarks echoed the if it continues to escalate its war rhetoric.

The threat was issued by Mr Mattis after a visit to the demilitarised zone (DMZ) on the Korean border.  "North Korean provocations continue to threaten regional and global security despite unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council.".

And while he said the US did not want to go to war with Kim Jong-un's hermit state, he issued a clear military threat to the despot amid growing rumours of an imminent seventh nuclear test.

The Defence Secretary said: "North Korea provocations continue to threaten regional and world peace, and despite the unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council, they still proceed.

"As the US Secretary of State has made clear, our goal is not war, but rather the complete verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.".

It comes as a US Government source has revealed the despotic state secretly tested a new type of solid-fuel engine last week. According to the source, the test took place at North Korea's solid-fuel engine testing site in Hamhung.

And a senior CIA analyst warned that in November could spark another provocation from Kim Jong-un. Japan's defence minister has also warned North Korea's threat has grown to a critical and imminent level".

At the time the official added it "had not been decided" if Trump would visit heavily fortified demilitarised zone (DMZ) which separates the north and south.

US warns North Korea of 'MASSIVE MILITARY' response amid WW3 fears

Mr Mattis also warned Pyongyang that North Korea's military was no match for the US-South Korean alliance and that diplomacy was most effective when backed by credible military force.

The Defence Secretary said: Make no mistake - any attack on the United States, or our allies, will be defeated.

And any use of nuclear weapons will be met with a massive military response that is both effective and overwhelming. Mr Mattis has been at pains during his week-long trip to Asia to stress that diplomacy is Americas preferred course, a message he returned to after top-level military talks in Seoul on Saturday and the tense border area with North Korea on Friday.

Tensions between North Korea and the United States has been building after a series of nuclear and missile tests by Pyongyang.

The CIA has warned North Korea could be only months away from developing the ability to reach the United States with nuclear weapons.

President Trump, who has threatened to destroy North Korea if necessary, is heading to Asia this week, with his trip including a stop in South Korea to meet President Moon Jae-in.

After talks with Mr Mattis on Friday, President Moon said the aggressive deployment of US strategic assets in the region, which have included overflights by US bombers, had been effective in deterring the North Korean threat.

US intelligence experts, however, say Pyongyang believes it needs the nuclear weapons to ensure its survival. The US Defence Secretary suggested that Pyongyang needed to understand that its weapons programs would not strengthen its defences.

But Kim Jong-un has pledged to build a nuclear-tipped missile capable of reaching the United States. Mr Mattis said: "If it remains on its current path of ballistic missiles and atomic bombs, it will be counter-productive, in effect reducing its security..

Ultimately, any attempt to force the dictator-run state to denuclearize could have devastating consequences for the world. Jim Mattis was briefed on the posture of North Korean artillery, whilst visiting the inter-Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

South Korean Defence Minister Song Young-moo suggested that the US and South Korean missile defences simply could not stop all of them. Mr Song told Mr Mattis at the DMZ: "Defending against this many LRAs (long-range artillery) is infeasible in my opinion.".

How Does God Talk To Us??? - Duration: 1:55.

Hey this is Carlos and I wanted to make this video real quick because I get a lot messages

of people who are struggling with this.

Is it possible to hear God's voice?

How does He talk to us?

You see God is able to speak to anyone in different ways.

He doesn't limit himself to one form of communication.

God can speak to anyone through scripture, dreams, visions, prayer, circumstances, and

through other human beings regarding there spiritual position.

In fact, when we accept God and let the Holy Spirit dwell inside of us, it's God who now

lives in us and that conscious and uncomfortable feeling we sometimes feel before making a

decision is God trying to tell us something.

The reason you might not be able to hear the voice of God is because you're distracted.

You pray and ask God for something but your self-focused desires gives you an answer before

even letting God respond.

You can't hear him because you're preoccupied with your own voice.

No matter what situation you're facing today, never let the voice of your troubles be louder

than the voice of God.

God is ready to speak to you the moment you prepare yourself to listen.

Did you know that most of the answers you're looking for has already been written.

You want to hear the voice of God, open your Bible.

God is also speaking to you through Jesus Christ.

In the Bible, God used a flaming bush, angels, visions, animals, natural disasters to speak

to his people.

This shows you that God can use anything or anyone, including a broken man like me, to

communicate to his people, you just have to listen.

May the Gospel give you life.

US vs UK English Language Differences (in English, English subtitles) - Duration: 6:41.

Hello and welcome to Learn English With Jojo.

In this video I'm going to be talking about five language differences between the United

States of America and the United Kingdom of...

Britain?

Is that what the UK stands for?

When I was in the UK -- I was in England and then I was in Scotland as well -- this past

spring, I noticed a bunch of little differences and I wrote them down in my notebook and I'm

going to share them with you because I'm obsessed with these language differences.

I love watching British films and movies.

I love talking to my British friends that I made in France because I just think it's

funny that we have the same language but we have these little differences that sometimes

mean completely other things and sometimes things that are very strange in the other

language* (*country, not language. It's the same language).

Anyway, I will tell you all about that very soon.

So, let's get started.

The first difference that I noticed when I arrived in London was that British people

use the word "terminate" in a different way than we do.

In English, the word terminate just means to end.

When I was riding the Underground, the Tube, I noticed that they kept saying "this train

will terminate at 'blabla' station" and I was like, "terminate?

It sound like they're going to die."

Terminate for us...

I think of the Terminator, like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I don't think of just to end, so I thought maybe everyone on the train was going to die?

Number two is the expression "taking the piss," which is not exactly appropriate for all ages.

It's not... it's not something you should say at work for example if you are in a very

professional setting or to your teacher at school you probably shouldn't say this.

But in American English, taking the piss, we would never really say that, we would say

"taking a piss" and that just means to pee, to urinate.

But in British English, if I say, "John was taking the piss, I wouldn't really be talking

about him going for a pee or a piss, I would be talking about him joking around or making

fun of someone.

Mocking someone.

There's also taking the piss out of other people.

"John took the piss out of Michael."

That means that John was making fun of Michael.

Very weird.

On the other hand, in American English, we have some weird expressions with piss as well.

We say "you piss the shit out of me."

That means, you make me very angry.

I get pissed off.

I think pissed off is said in both British and American English.

In British English they also say pissed to mean drunk, so John was pissed the other night.

That means John was very, very drunk the other night.

Yeah.

Number three is the word "whilst."

I just think it's the cutest thing hearing British people say "whilst."

It sounds very Shakespearean or something.

"Whilst."

But people say it.

In America, we just say "while."

"John was taking the piss out of Michael whilst drinking a beer."

Instead of in American English, we would say "while drinking a beer."

Yeah, I just think it's cute.

It's something I hear in a lot of Youtube videos.

I follow some British Youtubers.

I think I'm going to make a Youtube channel recommendation video for you soon so you have some

ideas of who to watch on Youtube and it might be interesting for you to immerse yourself

that way.

The fourth one is pretty important and that's the difference between a flat and an apartment.

In Britain, in England, Scotland, Ireland, I'm pretty sure all three of them say "flat"

instead of saying "apartment," whereas in America, we say apartment.

And that's really it.

The only thing I would add is that in America, something I noticed I noticed when I showed

my apartment to you guys in a vlog, I said, "my roommates, my roommates," I talked about

my roommates, and really they're my flatmates, because we don't share this room that I'm

in, we share the apartment.

They're my apartment mates, but that doesn't really sound right.

It's really "flatmates."

Yeah.

And the fifth one actually has to do with the second one, or was it the third one.

The second one about pissing.

And that's the difference between "pissed" and "mad."

Because in America when I say "I'm pissed," that means I'm pissed off, that means I'm

really, really angry.

Something made me angry.

But in British English, like I said, pissed means drunk.

So you have to be careful.

And then also the word, "mad" has a different meaning in British English and American English.

In American English, when we say mad, we mean angry, similar to pissed.

We mean...

"I'm so mad at you!

I'm so mad."

But in British English when you say "I'm mad", or "I've gone mad," that means "I've gone

crazy," "I'm crazy."

"Are you mad??"

So I hope that was interesting for you.

I have a few more Britishisms that I would like to talk about, so maybe in a month or

two I will make another video about the differences.

And if you know of any different ones that I didn't mention in the last two videos, please

leave a comment.

And... yeah.

On a side note, I hope this lighting was good.

I'm hoping to get a new camera soon so that the phone doesn't go in and out of focus 'cause

I don't really like that.

But in the meantime, I hope it's not too annoying for you to watch this video.

I hope you can deal with it.

That's all I have to say.

I hope you have a good day.

Or a good night.

Do you like my Christmas lights?

Yeah... pretty cool.

Pretty cool.

Bye!

What does Trump KNOW? US President 'FURIOUS' about CIA and FBI changes to JFK files

Researchers, journalists and conspiracy theorists were left fuming yesterday as the US withheld 300 files from the highly classified documents about the killing of John F. Kennedy.

The US President had assured all of nearly 3,000 documents would be opened to the public after 54-years. But around 10% of the files were held back as Trump caved to pressure from the the CIA and FBI.

The spy agencies have to be allowed to redact the files to protect spies and codenames – and requested more time to make the changes.

Trump has now reassured JFK conspiracists that "everything" will be opened – assuring they are being released "very carefully". However, he is reportedly unhappy with the level redactions according to a White House source.

"It really stinks to high heaven." Seb Gorka The US President has taken an interest in the files being released, and had said he would not block them being opened.

Conspiracy theorists believe the withheld documents may hold the juiciest information about the killing of JFK. Today, Trump tweeted: "JFK Files are being carefully released. In the end there will be great transparency.

"It is my hope to get just about everything to public. A source told CNN the US President was believes the agencies are "not meeting the spirit of the law and is fuming with the level of redactions.

Already revelations about the JFK killing have emerged as people around the world trawl through the once-classified documents. KGB sources claimed Vice President Lyndon Johnson was responsible for the killing, and the Russians suspected the shooting an attempt a coup.

Meanwhile, a British reporter was tipped off about big news"just 29 minutes before the assassination on November 22, 1963.

Former top Trump aide Seb Gorka said: There's only two reasons you would do that redaction right now, the reasons are you protect active operations or you protect sources and methods – neither of those can be true 50 years later – so what is it? "Something embarrassing.

It really stinks to high heaven.". Theories have long persisted there may be more to the story, including internal plots by the FBI and CIA, the Soviet Union and Cuba.

Officially, JFK was shot while riding in his open-topped motorcade in Dallas, Texas, by lone gunman Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald is believed by some conspiracy theorists to be just a fall-guy for a wider plot to kill off the US President.

The gunman was killed himself by Jack Ruby while leaving a police station following his arrest in Dallas.

Other theories suggest there was a second shooter – with even a surgeon who treated JFK saying he believed there was another gunman. It likely even after the full release of the files, conspiracy theories will persist.

How a Ugandan Is Fighting Human Trafficking in Africa—and in the US - Duration: 9:10.

I had parents who believed in me and made sure I went to school—walking a long distance—and

it has always been about challenging myself to go for it.

So I was really excited to be a student.

So fast forward.

I had to work hard to get to university.

And I've been a student all my life, because even when I work I continue being a student.

I still go off.

So my activism was really intertwined because looking at how it all began when I got into

the field of human trafficking: It is in Uganda.

It is in America.

It is in your backyard.

It may manifest itself in different ways.

As I was growing up, for me I was confronted by the Lord's Resistance Army, the use of

children in conflict.

I have done some state tours.

I have done the state of Colorado, New Jersey, and I went to Las Vegas.

And wherever I've gone I've seen one of the biggest problems in America is runaway

children.

There's that age where—traffickers know that, they rely on that vulnerability—that

age when teens think that their parents are not so cool and they run away from home.

So there's always somebody, you know, to grab them and take them through a different

path.

There is trafficking in agriculture in this country, among even immigrant population.

But also among the locals themselves, sexual exploitation.

From city to city I've come across victims of trafficking whom I've spoken to.

I've spoken in various audiences, and after I've spoken I've seen these girls, especially,

come to me and confide to me what happened to them in their situation.

So it's everywhere.

We just have to pay attention.

We have to learn and empower ourselves with knowledge.

In my country Uganda we have, like I said, children in armed conflict.

We have sexual exploitation.

We have forced labor.

They use children for street begging.

We have removal of organs.

The trade in human organs.

We have removal of organs for rituals and exploitation, where somebody—to construct

a building like this, the witch doctor tells you, "you have to kill somebody and spill

some blood so that you can become rich."

People believe in things like that.

So those things are real, and they happen around the world.

We just have to pay attention and see how we can be involved.

When I got the opportunity to attend the Clinton Global Initiative and made that commitment

of action to counter human trafficking, I knew I needed to build a rehabilitation center

for survivors of human trafficking.

I knew I wanted to take books, so that even children can have an education.

And I remember then thinking, "Okay, how am I going to do this?!"

Because I had really huge goals!

I wanted to build that center.

I said I was going to train law enforcement, and I started off—I was going to train one

thousand law enforcements [to recognize signs of human trafficking], and I was a student.

And I knew that, to train my reinforcement, to take books, and to create a rehabilitation

center I had to be creative.

Because here is a student who comes from Africa, you're in America, you don't have any

money to implement this huge project.

But in my university what I found out quickly was that there was a lot of food at the university!

So you'd go for student events and many times the food just goes to waste.

So I said, "Okay, this is an opportunity for me to save money."

So I started saving money, which I would have used to buy food, and I used to eat food from

school events (and, of course, you can take takeaway), and I saved one thousand dollars.

And so with one thousand dollars I went to Books for Africa, who are based in Minnesota,

St. Paul.

So I went to them I said, "Listen, I want to take a container of books to Uganda."

That's 23,000 books, that's how I started.

And I had never done fundraising before, but thank goodness when we had the Clinton Global

Initiative they told us how to raise money for your commitment.

So before I knew it I raised money to take a container of books.

And one of the happiest, happiest moments in my life is going through the border between

Uganda and Kenya and being in this truck.

A huge truck that's 40 feet, full of books and navigating through the roads and eventually

by the time I came to this village school the kids being just so excited.

So the excitement of seeing children lifting boxes and carrying them to their classroom,

every kid having a book, you know—to own a book!

And flipping through the pictures, mathematics made easy.

So that was really an exciting moment for me.

That's when I realized, "Wow, I can actually do this."

And so that's how I approached even my other commitments.

One thing at a time, and just being creative along the way.

Find out what is happening in your community.

Find out which organizations are dealing with the problem.

And actually also find out how you can help, because believe it or not, all of us have

a stake in this.

I keep telling people, "If you have a big mouth like I do, yes, you learn about it,

and then you talk about it."

Some people have money, they'll support organizations which are doing this work.

Sometimes it's just about learning.

You tell your neighbor.

Be mindful if you see something wrong somewhere.

You talk to the police and let the authorities know.

So trafficking exists.

It exists everywhere, and we just have to be united in action.

Because traffickers are so organized, are very organized.

So they have the operations within countries, but they also cross borders.

And when they cross borders, that's when we need to really collaborate.

Internally collaborate: Law enforcement, social work.

So everybody is important.

But also internationally to know how they are.

Because there's a lot of money to be made within trafficking of human beings.

So to really pay attention on what is happening in your community and how trafficking manifests

itself.

And to know that whichever problems we have, like human trafficking, there's always help.

I'm also speaking to survivors out there, because

I work with them a lot and they go through really so many challenges.

That's the reason I even decided to build a center for survivors of human trafficking.

Because I know that they need rehabilitation.

They have rights.

They need people to pay attention to them and to really listen to what they need as

they go through life to make a better life for themselves.

I remember one victim especially, whom I took to my house because I didn't have anywhere

to take her.

And she was circumcised and forced to marry somebody even before she healed.

And when she flee from her husband's home, her parents didn't want to take her back.

They called her names, they said she has shamed the family.

And I remember her calling me at midnight and me picking her up from where she had run

to bring to my house.

And after three days she disappeared, and I've never seen her again.

Just because I did not have a rehabilitation center to take her.

So pay attention to survivors.

North Korea developing 'DEVIL'S VENOM' to wipe out United States - Duration: 3:03.

North Korea developing 'DEVIL'S VENOM' to wipe out United States

US experts are warning there is evidence Kim Jong-un's regime is producing the volatile liquid to power intercontinental missiles (ICBMs) capable of reaching the US mainland.

The hermit kingdom used to import the propellant, whose scientific name is unsymmetrical di-methyl-hydrazine (UDMH), from China and Russia. But recent UN sanctions slapped on the country last month mean its imports have dried up.

Jeffrey Lewis, the director of the East Asia Non-proliferation programme at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, California, warned North Korea could easily have produced stockpiles of the fuel.

"North Korea is hardly so backwards that UDMH production would come as a surprise" Jeffrey Lewis He said: "North Korea is hardly so backwards that UDMH production would come as a surprise.

"Over the years, a variety of liquid and solid rocket propellants have been found in seized cargoes from North Korea." And the toxic fuel is so dangerous that the United States stopped using it years ago, with space agency NASA even issuing a warning about it.

UDMH was also the fuel used in the Soviet Union rocket disaster in 1960 that killed at least 124 people.

Ankit Panda, the Asia analyst at The Diplomat said yesterday: "Nothing about [North Korea's] missile testing patterns suggests they're vulnerable to supply shocks from an overseas supplier, be it China or Russia, cutting them off.

"All signs point to a domestic propellant and oxidizer manufacturing base that's sufficient to fuel its own missiles." It comes as North Korea said its threat to carry out a huge nuclear test of the Pacific Ocean should be taken "literally".

The foreign minister is very well aware of the intentions of our supreme leader, so I think you should take his words literally, Ri Yong Pil, a senior diplomat in North Koreas Foreign Ministry said this week.

Putin the KINGMAKER: Donald Trump turning to RUSSIA to help US take down North Korea - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 2:59.

Putin the KINGMAKER: Donald Trump turning to RUSSIA to help US take down North Korea

DONALD Trump is being forced to seek out help from Russia to take down North Korea amid

fears of World War 3.

Vladimir Putin's regime is becoming the kingmaker as the knife-edge crisis worsens

between Washington and Pyongyang.

Russia is said to be increasingly becoming Kim Jong-un's preferred ally as China cracks

down on North Korea.

US diplomats are reportedly being forced to seek out Putin – believing he can be more

valuable than anyone in tackling Kim.

War fears have reached fever pitch in region as US General James Mattis warned of a "massive

military response" as he visited the border of North Korea.

Kim has responded by promising to detonate a H-bomb over the Pacific, a move that could

spark nuclear war.

Russia has been calling for peace in the region, but has been accused of providing backdoor

support for the regime.

Frosty relations also rage between the Kremlin and the White House as Putin is accused of

fiddling with the US election.

Washington's top envoy to North Korea Joseph Yun reportedly said he wants to increase ties

with Moscow to tackle Kim.

Trump accused Putin of hurting US efforts to tackle North Korea – while at the same

time praising China.

The US president said: "China is helping us and maybe Russia's going through the other

way and hurting what we're getting.

"I think we could have a good relationship.

I think that the North Korean situation would be easier settled."

Russia shares a border with North Korea on its eastern frontier, and the two sides are

traditionally strong allies.

Putin himself met with Kim's father Kim Jong-il, and Russia supported the state during

the Korean War.

Previously, Russia demanded the US stand down from North Korea as the Kremlin warned US

escalation could spark war.

Moscow is reported to have hosted "back channel" talks between the US and North

Korea at a disarmament conference.

Russia remains at odds with the US over hacking accusations as well as the war in Syria, the

annexation of Crimea, and military build-ups in Baltic.

Daily Star Online previously revealed which side Putin would take if the US attacked North

Korea.

Defense chiefs of S. Korea, U.S. hold talks in Seoul on N. Korea, alliance - Duration: 2:14.

The United States has once again said it will never accept North Korea as a nuclear state.

U.S. defense chief James Mattis, who is visiting Seoul said Pyongyang's nuclear and missile

programs serve to undermine, not strengthen its security.

Kim Hyun-bin reports.

North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile threats topped the agenda on Saturday at the

annual 49th Security Consultative Meeting in Seoul.

To better counter those threats,...

South Korea's Defense Minister Song Young-moo and U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis agreed

to increase the deployment of U.S. strategic assets around the peninsula on a rotational

basis... and to enhance cooperation so Seoul can obtain and develop state-of-the-art military

equipment.

The two also shared views on the transfer of wartime operational control from Washington

to Seoul,... one of the key goals of the Moon Jae-in administration.

(Korean) "Secretary Mattis and I agreed to consider

the timing and conditions of a condition-based OPCON transition.

We will continue to work, develop and refine plans on this issue in time for the next Security

Consultative Meeting."

SCM .

Mattis pulled no punches on North Korea,... calling Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program

"illegal and unnecessary."

He also stressed that Washington wants to find a diplomatic solution to the nuclear

crisis,... but military force remains an option, if need be.

"The United States will not accept a nuclear North Korea.

Diplomacy is our preferred course of option.

As I repeatedly emphasized, our diplomats are most effective when backed by credible

military force in this sort of situation."

Mattis also took the opportunity to warn Pyongyang against the idea of ever trying to use its

nuclear weapons offensively.

"Make no mistake.

Any attack on United States or our allies will be defeated.

Any use of nuclear weapons by the North will be met with massive military response, effective

and overwhelming."

This year's Security Consultative Meeting marks the first since Presidents Moon Jae-in

and Donald Trump took office earlier this year.

The 50th SCM will be held in Washington in 2018.

Watch out Kim! US warns North Korea GET READY for 'soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines' - Duration: 3:45.

Watch out Kim! US warns North Korea GET READY for 'soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines'

has repeatedly threatened the West in recent months but the USA today hit back in an extraordinary outburst.   The threat was issued by US defence chief James Mattis after a visit to the demilitarised zone (DMZ) on the Korean border.

He said North Korea could not be allowed to repeatedly "threaten others with catastrophe" with its fast-growing nuclear war programme.

And while he said the US did not want to go to war with Kim Jong-un's hermit state, he issued a clear military threat to the despot amid growing rumours of an imminent seventh nuclear test.

Mr Mattis, speaking after visiting the DMZ with South Korean Defence Minister Song Young-moo, said his aim was to denuclearise the Korean peninsula.  He said: "North Korea provocations continue to threaten regional and world peace, and despite the unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council, they still proceed.

"As the US Secretary of State has made clear, our goal is not war, but rather the complete verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula."  .

Despite claiming the US did not want to resort to military actions, Mr Mattis left little to the imagination with his message to Kim.  He said: "Were doing everything we can to solve this diplomatically, everything we can.

But ultimately our diplomats have to be backed up by strong soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines." And he condemned the rogue state hours after shocking satellite images of Kim's gulags were released. .

He said North Korea is "an oppressive regime that shackles its people, denying their freedom, their welfare and their human dignity in pursuit of nuclear weapons and their means of delivery in order to threaten others with catastrophe".

The 20 never-before-seen photos were released yesterday in a report which detailed the inhumane conditions experienced by prisoners in North Korea's prison camps.   .

The report, 'The Parallel Gulag: North Korea's An-jeon-bu Prison Camps', aims to refocus the West's attentions on the atrocities being committed in Kim's kingdom.

One particularly chilling section said: "Overall, the brutal and arduous labour, grossly inadequate diet, and lack of medicine lead to a dreadfully large number of deaths in detention.

"The bodies of deceased prisoners are frequently dumped into unmarked graves near the prison or prison camp without the traditional Korean funeral rites or arrangements.

'We must unite against the US' North Korea calls on SWORN ENEMY to join war against Trump - Duration: 3:21.

'We must unite against the US' North Korea calls on SWORN ENEMY to join war against Trump

South Korea and Kim Jong-un's hermit nation are still technically at war and there's no love lost between the rivals since the bloody 1950s war.

Kim's propaganda machine blasts South Korea on a regular basis for its ties with the US. But they finally appear to have set aside the venom-spitting hostility and to offer the possibility of a united Korea against the US.

"All Koreans in the north, the south and abroad are responsible" Rodong Sinmun Sworn enemies Kim and US President Donald Trump have traded vile threats of war over the past few months – and the world is on the edge of war.

In Kim's mouthpiece newspaper Rodong Sinmun today the editorial slammed the South as "puppet war maniacs".

But it added: "The situation requires all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad to further their nationwide struggle to foil the US and its lackeys' moves for provoking a war against the DPRK under the banner of the anti-US, anti-war struggle for protecting peace..

"Peace should be achieved through resolute struggle against the war moves of the bellicose forces at home and abroad, it continued.

"One is responsible for his or her own destiny and all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad are responsible for the struggle for peace." Rodong Sinmun then went on to set out its explanation as to why all Koreans should unite against the US.

It continued: "All Koreans at home and abroad should stage more brisk nationwide struggle against the US reckless moves for provoking a war against the DPRK.

"The South Korean people, irrespective of their ideology or political view, should turn out in the anti-US, anti-war struggle for protecting peace in order to protect their own lives and security.

"The danger of war can never be defused as long as the US imperialist forces are present in South Korea.".

This comes as today new pics were revealed of horrific North Korean gulags published in a damning report. Sick details emerged of just what goes on inside.

While it was also revealed today North Korea is developing Devils Venom to wipe out the US.
