The Trump administration has made the renewal of non-immigrant visas... such as H-1B and

L1... more difficult.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services says that,... along with new applicants,...

visa holders already living in the U.S. have to prove to the federal authorities that they

are still eligible for their visa every time they apply for an extension.

The changes took effect this week.

Previously, renewals were considered with a presumption of approval.

The updated guidance is in line with the Trump administration's 'Buy American, Hire American'

policy.

Such restrictions could affect India-U.S. relations, as the majority of H-1B visa holders

are IT professionals from India.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis visits South Korean President Moon at Blue House - Duration: 2:29.

The visiting Pentagon chief also met with President Moon Jae-in at the nation's top

office.

It was a closed door event as it comes ahead of President Trump's visit to Asia next week.

During the sit-down, Mattis reaffirmed Washington's commitment to defending South Korea .

Moon Connyoung tells us more.

Unshakable solidarity is what South Korean President Moon Jae-in and U.S. Defense Secretary

James Mattis reaffirmed ahead of a closed-door meeting at Seoul's presidential Blue House.

Mattis, who had just traveled to the heavily fortified buffer zone that divides South and

North Korea earlier in the day, conveyed Washington's commitment to the alliance forged in blood

on fierce battlegrounds.

(English) "This alliance we have is built on trust,

trust, trust.

It's also developed from a very difficult war and Korea has become a thriving democracy.

So we stand with you, Mr. President."

South Korea's commander-in-chief thanked the U.S. defense chief and his latest efforts

to fend off North Korean provocations.

(Korean) "I believe the aggressive deployment of U.S.

strategic assets on the Korean peninsula has been effective in deterring North Korea's

provocations."

.

Although the allies share the goal of denuclearizing North Korea, the South Korean president highlighted

that peace and security on the Korean peninsula takes priority over all else.

Since peace can neither be made nor maintained if not backed by strong military capabilities,

President Moon stressed the need for Seoul and Washington to bolster deterrence against

North Korea based on joint defense.

Noting that the North Korean regime's nuclear obsession poses an existential threat to South

Korea and the U.S., the Pentagon chief underscored that America's security commitments to defending

South Korea remain ironclad.

Mattis' visit to South Korea, where he landed early Friday morning, is seen as paving the

way for a much-anticipated maiden trip by U.S. President Donald Trump in a little over

a week.

A senior White House official said earlier this week that Mr. Trump will most likely

forgo a visit to the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas when he visits Asia... bypassing

what has been a symbolic opportunity for U.S. commanders-in-chief to stare into the Hermit

Kingdom.

North Korea's nuclear ambitions are MAJOR THREAT to West, US defence chief warns - Duration: 3:23.

North Korea's nuclear ambitions are MAJOR THREAT to West, US defence chief warns

Mr Mattis said on Friday that there had been no change in US policy towards protecting South Korea, in the face of missile and nuclear threats from the reclusive North, after a meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

And he stressed that the goal is not war with North Korea - despite Donald Trump's previous threat to "totally destroy" the hermit state.

Tensions have flared on the Korean peninsula as the US President and the Norths ruler Kim Jong-Un continue to trade insults and threaten war that has sparked global alarm.

But Mr Mattis, who visited the tense Demilitarised Zone during a trip to South Korea, said the US was committed to a diplomatic solution.

He said: "As the US Secretary of State Tillerson made clear, our goal is not war but rather the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula."  And stressed he and his South Korean counterpart Song Young-Moo had made clear our mutual commitment to a diplomatic solution to address North Koreas reckless, outlaw behaviour.

Mr Mattis is to hold annual defence talks with Song on Saturday during the two-day trip, which comes ahead of a planned trip by the US president to Asia next month.

Mr Trump is set to visit Seoul from November 7 to 8 with all eyes on his message to the North and Kim.

The isolated North carried out its sixth nuclear test last month and has launched several missiles in recent months potentially capable of reaching the mainland of its imperialist enemy the US.

The moves, staged in violation of UN resolutions banning the North from any use of atomic and ballistic technology, prompted new US-led UN sanctions against the impoverished state.

Pyongyang reacted angrily to new sanctions, and Mr Trumps recent remark that only one thing will work with the North fuelled concerns of a potential conflict.

But even some of the White House's advisers say US military options are limited when Pyongyang could launch an artillery barrage on the South Korean capital Seoul - only 50 kilometres from the border and home to 10 million people.

The North says its atomic weapons are a treasured sword to protect itself from potential invasion by the US.

China wants to work WITH US to 'control disputes' after hitting out over North Korea - Duration: 3:24.

China wants to work WITH US to 'control disputes' after hitting out over North Korea

wants to "control disputes" with the United States after the nations had clashed over the rogue state.  Both countries have worked hard to improve interaction between their militaries to avoid any confusion in areas such as the South China Sea, where both regularly fly military aircraft and sail warships.

Beijing has been angered in recent months by what it viewed as provocative US military flights and naval patrols in the disputed East China Sea and South China Sea.

It is reportedly suspicious of the close US defence ties with South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and India.

It comes amid soaring tensions on the Korean Peninsula over Kim Jong-un's missile programme, and as the United States seeks to push China into more assertively restraining North Korea The comments were made by Chinas Defence Ministry ahead of President Trump's visit to Beijing.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said last week that Washington was open to the idea of inviting others, including Australia, to join a US-India-Japan security cooperation, something Beijing has blasted as an attempt by democracies to gang up on it.

Speaking at a monthly news briefing, Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Ren Guoqiang said he was happy to see positive developments in military relations with the United States.

He said: "Looking to the future, we are willing to work with the US side to respect each other, deepen mutual trust, focus on practical exchanges and cooperation and appropriately manage and control disputes, to continue injecting positive energy in the development of ties." China, a strategic rival to the United States and India, is also vital to s efforts to roll back North Koreas efforts to create nuclear-armed missiles capable of reaching the United States, an issue expected to top the agenda in his Beijing visit in November.

He said that economic pressure is the most important diplomatic effort at the moment as they hold North Korea's economy in their hands; 93 per cent of exports go to China, and Beijing controls the nation's oil flow.

He commended the "willingness" of China to adjust their policies to the real uncertainties form Pyongyang but encouraged them to do more.

US wants to 'use LETHAL FORCE in terror war' by arming drones after special forces killed - Duration: 3:59.

US wants to 'use LETHAL FORCE in terror war' by arming drones after special forces killed

The possibility of arming drones in the African nation has been escalated following the recent attack on a Green Beret unit that resulted in the deaths of four Americans.

Former Bush administration counterterrorism adviser, Juan Zarate, said: It demonstrates that the US is expanding its use of lethal force.

"It also demonstrates that the war on terror is migrating. According to military and intelligence officials, the latest casualties have prompted calls for the US to take a more aggressive stance in their African operations.

If the US arm their Reapers, it would follow in the footsteps of France that has already equipped its unmanned aircraft with lethal capabilities. US officials are said to be confronting Niger's government to allow US military forces to arm their drones.

Both Niger and its neighbour, Mali, are considered to be ripe breeding grounds for terrorist ideals with both ISIS and Al Qaeda said to be recruiting in the region.

The US believes that the group that ambushed the Green Berets were part of a group with an allegiance to ISIS.

The Obama administration was a big proponent of not allowing the armament of drones, however, moves to reverse the decision have been brewing for a while, according to NBC.

If US drones in the Niger were to be armed, they would join the likes of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq and Syria that have all been occupied by armed Reapers.

Colonel Rob Manning, a Defence Department spokesman, stated that he would not comment on "possible initiatives by the administration".

He added: "The Department of Defence will always ensure our forces are properly equipped and have the necessary capabilities to accomplish their mission and defeat any threat. Officials claim that the Green Berets were targeted while performing a counterterrorism mission in the area from which only scarce details have emerged since the incident took place three weeks ago.

Reports of potential drone armament in Niger comes as it was recently revealed that next-generation tanks will ditch "human senses" for "algorithms and cameras" in a new vision set for the 2030s.

The new military initiative is an attempt to protect the lives of drivers that currently poke their heads out to observe their surroundings.

The next-generation of tanks are set to be equipped with a variation of infrared and visible-light cameras to provide the driver inside the tank with a 360-degree view of their surroundings.

Cameras will combine with Algorithms onboard the tanks that will be essential in delivering vital sensor enhancements that are one of the key reasons for ditching human senses.

JFK Assassination: US declassifies some files, delays release of others - Duration: 1:41.

"Now turning off to Elm Street, and it will only be a matter of minutes

before he arrives at the Trade Mart,

It appears as though something has happened in the motorcade route,

something, I repeat, has happened in the motorcade route."

November 22, 1963...

A date that's gone down in history.

More than 50 years later,

the assassination of president John F. Kennedy

remains of the most contentious events in American history.

"Before that day,

Americans were remarkably trusting

in the credibility of their government.

After November 22,

the deterioration began."

The theories are many:

the president was killed by the Russians,

it was a Mafia hit,

some even think it was a covered coup d'Etat.

Today, after decades of doubts,

Americans hope to uncover the truth,

as the F.B.I. releases 3.100 never-before seen files

on the J.F.K. murder investigation.

The government's official line is that Kennedy was killed

by a young former U.S. Marine named Lee Harvey Oswald,

who acted alone.

While experts say not to expect a revelation of any bombshells,

like the possibility of a second shooter,

there could be new evidence of an elaborate C.I.A. cover-up.

"I think the evidence is pretty clear that Oswald was the only shooter,

what I don't eliminate is the possibility he was encouraged to do it,

was aided to do it,

or at least that he told other people he was going to do it."

Intelligence agencies claimed they knew little of Oswald before the assassination,

but previously declassified C.I.A. documents

showed the agency had been monitoring him

as early as 1959, when he tried to defect to Moscow.

Priorities diverge in U.S. Congress over N. Korea - Duration: 2:18.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., there's no clear agreement on how to move forward on North Korea.

Some members of the U.S. Congress have met with South Korean lawmakers and agreed that

the allies should consider redeploying tactical nuclear weapons.

But some Democrats are looking at something else entirely -- they've proposed a bill to

limit President Trump's authority to use military force against Pyongyang.

Oh Jung-hee reports.

The U.S. agrees that the allies should consider redeploying tactical nuclear weapons to the

Korean peninsula.

That's what the Chairman of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee said on Thursday...

at a meeting in Washington with members of South Korea's main opposition Liberty Korea

Party.

According to the party's spokesperson...

Representative Mac Thornberry said... the redeployment of tactical nuclear weapons is

possible if South Koreans want it... and he will make sure this is discussed within the

Trump administration.

He added... that amid growing nuclear and missile threats from North Korea, if South

Korea and Japan feel any bit of doubt about the U.S. nuclear umbrella,... it is natural

for them to think of getting their own nuclear arms.

Representative Thornberry called the North Korean threat "imminent,"... and called for

Seoul, Washington and Tokyo to strengthen their trilateral cooperation.

He added that only when Seoul and Washington coordinate closely and maintain a powerful

military force... can they press Beijing to work on Pyongyang.

While some U.S. lawmakers agree on the need to beef up military capabilities against Pyongyang,...

dozens of others have proposed limiting President Trump's authority to launch a pre-emptive

strike on North Korea without congressional approval.

On Thursday,... a bill called "No Unconstitutional Strike against North Korea" was submitted

by fellow Democrats John Conyers in the House and Ed Markey in the Senate.

They said...

President Trump's "reckless" behavior and "provocative rhetoric" put U.S. troops and

American allies in danger... and therefore, Congress should act to limit his authority.

It's the first bill to specifically name North Korea as the possible tarket of a strike...

and the first to ban any sort of military attack.

61 lawmakers in the House have backed it... two of them Republicans.

and here is video report from the contest.

Czech players did really well. Michael Malík took 1st place

Tony Šec got second

Petr Kavka won 5A division and got 4rd in X-division

Quentin Godet from France won the whole X-division with an amazing freestyle

Quentin did all his double string tricks and it was really sick.

And the German National Title

has been won by Sebastian Holzkamp from team iYoyo

congratulations to becoming new champion!

And there was one more yoyo contest

USA National Yoyo Contest 2017

which has returned back to Chico, after taking place in LA for couple years

Evan Nagaon won 1st place in the main 1A category

with sick freestyle. Huge congrats Evan, we are happy for you!

I know that Evan really puts a lot into yoyoing nowadays.

So it is definitely well deserved victory.

Gentry Stein took 2nd place

with same routine as Gentry performed at Worlds 2017

I think he hit the routine better this time.

Gentry was US champion for past two years, this time he got silver.

3rd place, new CLYW team member Michael Ferdico

Michael is doing really well this whole season

and getting top 3 in whole USA is just proving Michaels great form.

Really, really, really well played routine in my opinion.

You could also notice that USA has talented young generation of yoyo players coming up

There was quite a few new names and young players in the 1A finals

Hunter and Angelo, both from Shutter Crew

both of them did great and it is cool to see that Gentry's influence is obviously working.

2A category won by Connor Sholten

Alex Hattori won 3A category

Who is 4 times 3A US champion now.

4A category won by Philip White

US champion 3 times in offstring in a row now.

New 5A champion is Josh Yee (sorry for the prononciation bro)

and this time they had also International category at US Nationals

and Luckey Li from Canada won the category.

And in this episode, we also have few videos released, that are worth watching.

The first one is

Fist Salud feat. Daniel Tamariz

in this video you can see Spanish champion

who is really creative and added new feature to yoyoing

a RING. Daniel came up with really cool tricks so lets see part of the video.

Another video, I found this morning accidentaly on youtube

it is called Yoyo with Blades

a random guy

takes random metal yoyo and attaches 2 blades to it

he spins the yoyo and he cuts stuff with it in slow motion

he cuts sausages, tooth paste and few other things.

Do not try this at home :)

Links for both of these video are linked in the description below.

We have yoyo to present today as well.

As promised, it will new signature model of Tomáš Bubák - ROBOT

by C3 yoyodesign

And as Tomas will be our guest today, I will leave the presentation to him.

If you want to see the whole unboxing and Robot review, check

the description for link to extra video.

And now its time for our guest

Tomáš Bubák!

Hey Bubi! Hi Vashek! Get your microphone.

Ok. Welcome to SLUSNY NEWS

I know that most of the players know you, but please introduce yourself.

Ok, I am Tomáš Bubák

I am 24 years old, I study at University of Economics in Prague

I have been playing for 12 years now.

I am more into judging and helping out at the contest at the moment.

But I still really enjoy to play and come up with new tricks.

I still really like it.

Super, thanks a lot!

So your new signature model just got release by your sponsor

C3 yoyodesign, could you please tell us how was it created?

So, at first I got offer for new signature model

I agreed of course as it is great opportunity.

So we have tried couple designs

I do not have any extreme knowledge in designing yoyos

so C3 offered me couple ways

I told them my requests and wishes. I wanted the yoyo to be based on Apparition.

And I wanted to upgrade couple things.

Such as gap, as I wanted it to be bit wider than before.

So the gap got wider.

The outside part of the yoyo is all new.

And in general it has whole new feel.

I am really happy with it. It fits my style and I think it is great progress from my previous signature.

So after we agreed on the final design

and I still got to choose from 2 prototypes

which differed in weight slightly.

One was lighter, the other one was heavier.

I brought it here to the store

and let people try and hear their opinions.

And in the end I have went with the heavier one.

Your yoyo is called "Robot" why did you named it this way?

Or did C3 named it?

I named it. And I chose this name as word "Robot" is invented by Mr. Čapek

I think it is cool to let the world know that it is a czech word

And I am also Czech so I named it this way.

Ok, got it! Before getting to your tricks.

I have a challenge for you.

Which we can do with Robot.

The most frequent question we got about each yoyo is:

How long can it sleep for?

So I would like to do Sleeper Challenge with you

So both of us will get Robot and we both throw a sleeper

We will see who can spin longer

And at the same time we will let people know how much can this yoyo sleep for.

Sleeper Challenge with the Robot. Are you ready?

I am ready, lets do this.

GO!

Damn, the other direction!

Is somebody checking the time?

Bro, nooo!

And its over.

So whats the final time?

Over 8 minutes, thats is solid time as this was just default setup, right from the packaging.

That is enough for you right?

In the last episode

when we told people that you will be the next guest

people could post their questions

So lets answer couple of peoples questions

Adam Knittl asking Bubi

Have you ever got so mad that you smashed your yoyo on the ground?

No

I value my yoyos enough to not destroy them for no reason.

Adam has one more question

Have you ever been close to quit yoyoing?

No, I have not

It is important part of my life

I do not want to lose it, it is real part of me.

Ogi Nentchev: what do you like and what do you dislike about actual yoyo community?

I do not like when players are not helping each other, even though they are better and they know they could be helpful.

And I like when players can help each other

and when these things work among yoyo players

Jan Novotný: Why are you so handsome and so good?

Haha, good question Shpek :)

I am handsome because of my mum and smart because of my father

Maxim Onyščuk: Who is Bubi's biggest inspiration?

I do not know, for me probably Zach Gormley

He has really nice tricks and he can show them really well.

And huge inspiration for me is also music.

If I am listening to music I get really hyped and I play.

Do you have any yoyo music recommendations for people that are watching us?

DOPE DOD if you are over 18

Ondra Beníček is asking - what was your first yoyo and when did you start to play?

My first yoyo was Lizard by Henrys

when I was 12 years old.

So this was Tomáš Bubák

and now he will show us and teach us his trick.

Hi

push your elbow into the loop and go under the yoyo

with your left hand

now throw the yoyo front and back while switching your hands

And Bubi also has a Robot to give away that you can win in a online contest
