Black Country Music Legend Leaves Politically Correct Liberal Hosts Stunned When He Rejects

Their Stupid Question

The anti-Trump lunatics on the View decided to do something a little bit differently for

once.

Instead of whining about our President they had legendary black country music star Charley

Pride on for a performance.

The song he sang was really nice.

However, as Daily Lightify reports, what happened next after the performance made all of America

cringe.

That's because the liberal hosts decided to do what they always do: they made it about

race.

Instead of asking about his songs or what he's up to lately in his career or life,

a stupid woman on the View standing to Pride's left shoulder asked him what it was like to

be the first black person who was big in country music.

It's a question everyone has already asked him about a million times.

To be fair several of the hosts including Whoopi Goldberg are people of color, but the

woman who asked Pride the question is not.

Pride was the first black individual signed to a major country music label, so it's

true that was a milestone.

But he's also a great singer who has many other things in his life in addition to being

proudly black.

Pride talked about growing up working the cotton fields with his dad and brother.

When he saw Jackie Robinson, a black baseball player, make it in the big leagues, Pride

was inspired.

"When I saw Jackie Robinson go to the major leagues, I'm picking cotton alongside my

dad and I said, 'boy this is going to be my way out of the cotton fields,'" he recalled,

adding "When I bought the guitar, I bought it from Sears, Roebuck, and I left it out

in the wagon and it rained that night and it was only taped together.

I never could keep it in tune.

I'm still leaving a lot of things."

Then he got to the question and left the View hosts a little taken aback and laughing.

He wasn't having any of their politically correct nonsense.

"I told my wife I wasn't going to get long-winded.

I'm going to have to condense this down.

You just mentioned 'of color'.

When I first started in this business, one reporter said, 'Charlie, how does it feel

to be the Jackie Robinson of country music?

Charlie how does it feel to be the first colored country singer?

Charlie how does it feel to be the first Negro country singer?

Charlie how does it feel to be the first African-American country singer?

I said I feel the same way I did when I was colored."

Boom.

Maybe these hosts should come up with some new material other than complaining about

Trump or asking completely repetitive questions.
