So Bad It's Scary - Friday the 13th - Random Review - Duration: 4:21.
Friday the 13th is one of the biggest horror franchises of all time and Jason Voorhese
one of the most iconic movie villains ever.
Building off the popularity of Halloween, Friday the 13th grabbed the concept of a faceless,
invincible killer stalking and murdering horny teenagers
and they ran with that way past the point of running out of ideas
The first film in 1980 actually centered on Jason's mother getting revenge on the counselors
at Camp Crystal Lake for her son's death years earlier.
Jason didn't even really show up until the sequel and he didn't get his iconic hockey
mask until the third movie.
In the Final Chapter, Jason dies after going on another killing spree and that's the end, right?
The Final Chapter is surely the last movie.
But no, the series' popularity wouldn't allow Paramount not to make another sequel.
The next movie is about a copycat killer, then Jason gets resurrected and is no longer
bound by mortality or good movie plots.
He then goes on to battle a psychic teenager, goes to the city, gets rekilled by the FBI,
gains the ability to possess people, goes to Hell, THEN goes to space,
Then he fight's Freddy Krueger.
Then it got a reboot a few years later.
Now that you know the general history of Firday the 13th, let's get into the actual game
review.
This game was released in 1989 and was supposed to coincide with the plot of The New Blood,
which released a year earlier.
Jason Takes Manhattan was still a couple months away, so I guess it made sense at the time.
Looking at the box art, we have a very washed out image of Jason that looks like it was
cut out of one of the movies, surrounded by uh, well just just look at it.
Is this Friday the 13th or Jason and the Technicolor dreamcoat?
One of the most prominent things on the box is this Seal of Bad Quality, which is the
LJN logo.
Now, I know LJN was just a publisher, so let's see who actually developed the game.
Atlus!?
Atlus made this game?
And they made it after the first Megami Tensei?
Maybe it won't be so bad.
Holy shit!
The knife went right into his eye!
So far, this is pretty hardcore for an NES game.
Ok, multiple characters.
Light the fireplaces?
Was that a thing in the movies?
Were these werewolf zombie things in the movies?
What the Hell is going on here?
Ok, so the premise here is that you have to go around lighting these fireplaces.
When this God-awful beeping starts, it means Jason is killing a child, so you have to make
your way to the highlighted cabin and fight Jason Punch-Out style, but he's harder to
beat than Mike Tyson!
I can't even avoid his punches!
Also, why is Jason punching?
Shouldn't he have a machete or something?
You and your friends are dead.
How did this get approved by Nintendo?
I just imagine an LJN employee in a rainbow colored suit showing up at some kid's house
like "You and your friends are dead!
You hear me?
DEAD!"
Anyway, you can find notes that give you hints and some of these can lead to hidden weapons.
There are several weapons you can pick up, which is good because the default rock is
fucking terrible.
Rather than sticking to the cabins, Jason will sometimes attack you out in the open.
These encounters are much easier than the ones in the cabins.
Once you beat him, he runs away and comes back stronger.
Once you've got the fireplaces lit, you can go into the cave and fight, uh Mrs. Voorhees's
severed head.
What is it with the severed heads?
It seems like every game I play in this series has at least one head flying around or being
in a place it shouldn't be.
When you beat her, you'll get this potato peeler, a sweater, and a pitchfork.
Now the game is all about finding Jason, who keeps getting faster and more aggressive the
more you fight him.
Just keep killing him until he's dead.
You have finally managed to defeat Jason.
But is he really dead?
We're not telling.
What kind of ending is that?
Hey, you did it!
Or did you?
This game is a fucking mess.
You have to light the fireplaces, but how are you expected to do that when Jason attacks
a kid every few seconds?
And of course, there's no real way to tell which fireplaces have already been lit besides
walking in them or making your own map.
BUT!
Despite all of that, I don't think this game deserves as much hate as it gets.
Yes, it just drops you in with no direction besides "Light the fireplaces", but I
feel like what they were trying to do was just not executed well.
You have your mission to light the fireplaces and rescue the kids from Jason.
Once you beat him enough times, you win.
That's the basics of it.
The notes you find in cabins lead you to the cave, which gives you better weapons and sweater
armor.
Yes, if you just popped the game in and started to play, you'd be completely fucking lost,
but that's what instruction manuals were for.
Friday the 13th is usually only remembered as one of the worst games for the NES, but
at least this blue Jason sprite was referenced by IllFonic in their buggy mess of a Friday
the 13th game.
Thanks for watching, everyone.
Do you think Friday the 13th is as bad as everyone says?
Let me know in the comments and leave a suggestion for the next game.

If you wish to receive, do so now
If you wish to receive, do so now
Now is the hour for receiving, O seeker!
This human birth is hard to attain
Stumbling through endless cycles of being
This priceless gem may not come around again
The dark hair of your youth has turned grey
But has that made you mend your ways?
Good actions, not fine words, bring grace
One who transforms does not go astray
This priceless gem may not come around again
You blabber fine words – do you live them?
You blabber fine words – do you live them?
What good is such wisdom, unlived?
Will it quench a thirsty heart's seeking?
You'll wander again, in search of meaning
This priceless gem may not come around again
Swan, walk with the gait of a swan
No stepping in shallow puddles anymore!
Light pervades the seeker's whole body
Alone, with art, she plays, she sports
This priceless gem may not come around again
This human birth is hard to attain
Head taken off and placed before the guru
No room for doubt anymore, O seeker
Collecting the five, I made them one
Experience lies within the self, O seeker
This priceless gem may not come around again
Oh swan...
When grace appeared, the deal was struck
Now what need of adulation or fame?
Rohal made off with the priceless jewel
He cut off...
He cut off his head, and became immortal
This priceless gem may not come around again
If you wish to receive, do so now

Korean Drama - Jung So-min becomes Lee Min-ki's in Because This Life Is Our First [SuperStar] - Duration: 2:56.
Jung So-min becomes Lee Min-ki's housemate in Because This Life Is Our First
Jung So-min becomes Lee Min-ki's housemate in Because This Life Is Our First.
Well, this is some lightning-fast casting; not that I'm complaining, especially if these are the results.
Only a day after reports announced that Lee Min-ki (Shoot Me in the Heart) was considering a leading role in the new tvN drama Because This Life Is Our First, his side has since confirmed his participation in the show, and we also have a heroine in Jung So-min (Father Is Strange).
The drama will be a fresh and fun take on the struggles of this generation's youths, and how they view jobs, relationships, and marriage.
There's also a disheartening moniker for the youth in Korea that seems to change every time I hear it: the N-po generation.
The "po" is for the Korean word pogi, which means to give up, and so while I first heard it as the 3-po generation (giving up love, marriage, and children), it has since been upgraded to the 5-po generation.
Because This Life Is Our First will depict the lives and tribulations of this N-po generation, which would sound like a big downer, if not for the "fresh and fun" vibe the producers are promising.
Lee Min-ki will play the "house-poor" Nam Se-hee, who is described as rational and a sworn bachelor.
He will become housemates with Jung So-min's Yoon Ji-ho, who has had to give up on relationships in order to scrape by financially.
This realistic setup, with two roomies who share a living space for financial reasons and no contract anything to keep them there, sounds pretty true to the producers' promise to keep this show relevant to today's youths.
And while I can't imagine Jung So-min getting all romantic with someone other than Lee Joon at the moment, I can see her and Lee Min-ki being super adorable as housemates-turned-lovers.
Because This Life Is Our First will follow Argon in tvN's Monday-Tuesday slot sometime in October.

Day Trading ENTRIES! THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT! - Duration: 6:46.
I want to talk about why your day trading entry is so important both
mentally and financially so stay tuned so I hate to keep talking about it but J
I ll I think this is a really really good example just showing you guys why
entries are so important why it's so important to wait for the right entry to
go into the trade with a plan and have that plan ready so J I ll this morning
it gapped down what I think after hours yesterday it actually gapped down from
the ten dollar area they cut earnings it wasn't good bad news for this company
it's a retail clothing company it's it's not good so you can see obviously this
drop down from $10 down there to six dollars and then pre market this morning
it's been selling off so I woke up this morning I saw it there at the six dollar
area I couldn't trade it until eight o'clock that's one store trader opens so
you can see here at 8 o'clock it got up there it was at 585 I ended up thinking
we're gonna get this breakthrough the 560 area once people started able to
trade it there at 8 o'clock and it ended up bouncing off 564 a little bit you can
see it bounce off 564 about 15 minutes here and I had 2,000 shares and I had a
really bad injury so I got in there my first thousand shares I got in there at
561 the second thousand I got in there at 565 which was a little bit better but
still not that good at the time there was a bit of a spread the better entry
would have been here at the 570 area with the idea okay you know 570 you got
my stop at the 580 and that way I had a little bit more wiggle room well if I
got in there at the 560 area my stop was still 580 but that was a 20 cent loss on
2,000 shares that's foreign dollar loss it's a lot more to handle emotionally
and financially so if I take a big loss on that trade it's not gonna be good
looking at it now hindsight's always 20/20 it's easy like wow that was
actually a really good entry I could have just held that and sold and cover
down here at the 48 year but at the time there was that support there the 560
area and I was basically shorting into that support thinking that support was
going to break which it ended up doing but at the time there was a buyer
sitting there that was buying that 560 area and I was like oh man I don't
really like this maybe this is gonna start to come back higher you can see it
actually popped up there the 580 area a couple times and I was kind of holding
through it thinking okay I think we're still gonna
go lower you know this got really bad news I think we're at least we're gonna
get back down to the 560 area one more time and we ended up getting back down
there to the 560 area at that point I was like okay I'm back in the green here
I'm just gonna take my profit and ended up selling ended up covering 50 hundred
shares here I kept 500 shares in case we did break through 560 which right after
I covered we broke through 560 it dropped down here to 550 and then on
this candle down there - 535 you know looking at the one-minute talks a little
easier to see here that 560 support it was bouncing off that 560 area for a
while that buyer there at 560 was buying it jumped up there right away to 575
pretty quickly and I was kind of worried that oh man this is gonna this might
this you know balance here of the 560 area go higher so already going into
that trade I was already at a loss because mentally I'm thinking I know
that supports there I don't have a very good intrigue I wanted that intrigue the
570 area but instead I got a little greedy I got a little bit of FOMO and I
ended up getting in there at the 560 area so right there
that's a bad sign it was a bad way to go into the trade I was already mentally
emotionally like oh this is not a good trade so going into the trade with that
bad entry there I'm thinking okay this is not good I'm thinking of myself I
might need to cut my loss fast I didn't get myself enough wiggle room there and
ended up getting out there for breakeven basically on that trade and made a
little bit on the downside there when it drops but you think about it if I have
2,000 shares there at 560 and I would have covered down here at the for ATS
let's say I would cover it here at the five dollar area right before open which
would probably know better when you know even 515 area I still would have made
close to $1,000 on this trade but instead I made about seventy bucks if
I'm going to go into these trades with larger size if I'm going to go into
these trades with a bigger plan and make more money I really need to focus on
getting the best entry you can see I got here short at the 565 area I could have
gotten short one more time here at the five seven years so had time I could
have gotten that 570 area easily I could have got filled here at 570 and then
held that short there on this spike so it's really important to focus on your
entries entries are very important both emotionally and financially not just for
making money but going into the trade if you get a really good entry you're gonna
be able to emotionally handle that trade a lot better if you get in on amazing
dip you're like wow I got an amazing dip
here I'm already in the green I can let the stock ride a lot higher where if I'm
buying on an extended if I'm buying on a stock that's already extended if I'm
buying on a stock that's already raining up a bunch I don't have a very good
entry I'm gonna take profit a lot faster so it's very important to focus on your
entries I can't express it enough I really try and tell myself
because that is something I need to work on but I really need to focus on my
entry so getting in on a winning trade getting in on a trade that did end up
working out but getting in on that trade and not having a good entry ended up
emotionally and mentally kind of making me think okay I might even cover because
it might explode you know I have a very good entry here how much wiggle room and
that's what happens so I would have been a lot better off just waiting for that
bounce off the 560 area a couple times or waiting for that 560 area to break
the 560 area to break and then I could have shorted here I had the 550's once
that resistance popped up there you know the trade it was there the trade was
there no doubt about it but in general this is very important I
need to work on my entries work on getting the best possible entries and
that's something I think a lot of day traders need to work on and like I said
personally I'm gonna work on that as well so if you guys are getting into
trades and you feel like you're taking profits too fast
think about your entries think about what entry you're getting are you
getting a good entry are you chasing a stock are you not waiting for the
pullback so you're not getting good entries in general and that's gonna make
you take profit faster I do the same thing if I get a bad entry a lot of
times I take profit a lot faster because I know ok I got a bad entry here this
isn't that good of a trade I don't have that win I don't have that cushion that
I want on a good dip buy or something like that so it's very important to
focus on your emotions and just overall in general you know keeping your
emotions in check and controlling your injuries and getting the best possible
entry if I got a good entry here on J I ll getting here at the 570 area I
probably take a profit you know down here at the 520's 515 and how we had a
lot better trade here on J I ll so just basically proving the point that entries
are very very important not just financially but also emotionally
mentally
