President Trump's top security advisor has enunciated the president's message to North

Korea,... saying he will not permit the regime to pose a nuclear threat to the U.S.

Washington's top envoy to the UN also said Trump's decision on the Iran deal sends a

perfect message to Pyongyang that it will not engage in a bad deal.

These messages out of Washington come as North Korea insists it's faced with no other choice

but develop nuclear weapons,... as its existence is at stake.

Kim Hyo-sun tells us more.

U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster has reiterated President Trump's message to

North Korea.

Speaking with Fox News on Sunday,... McMaster explained that President Trump will not permit

Pyongyang and its leader Kim Jong-un to threaten the U.S. with nuclear weapons,... adding that

he has been very clear about this.

He also stressed that Kim must recognize that developing a nuclear capability will not keep

him safer,... explaining it's actually the opposite.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley says President Trump's decision

to not recertify the nuclear deal with Iran sends a (quote) "perfect message" to North

Korea.

The decision refers to Trump's announcement on Friday that he would not recertify the

2015 multilateral deal under which Tehran agreed to curb its nuclear program in exchange

for sanctions relief.

In an interview with ABC News, Haley said the U.S. president is trying to make sure

Iran does not become the next North Korea,... adding the message is that Washington will

not engage in a bad deal.

Against this backdrop,... the Deputy Chairman of North Korea's Supreme People's Assembly,

An Tong-chun, said as he addressed the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Russia,... that Washington

leaves the regime with no other choice but to develop nuclear weapons.

Russia's TASS news agency quoted An as saying the existence of the North is at stake,...

especially as Trump has said the U.S. could totally destroy the country if necessary.

Vladimir Putin urges rivalry with US should not develop into war - Duration: 4:00.

Vladimir Putin urges rivalry with US should not develop into war

Sounding a positive note the Russian leader called for "maximum effort" to strengthen cooperation. Putin said: "We should exert maximum efforts to strengthen the other line, the line of cooperation in search of solution to common challenges and problems.

"If we are able to construct the relations in such a manner, everyone will certainly benefit from it.".

Relations between the two world powers had been thought to be at an all time low as Russia prepares to sue the United States. The Kremlin had earlier accused the US of the 'illegal seizure' of its diplomatic properties.

But Putin said: We spend our resources on rivalry… and such situation not always result in a positive result for everyone, both for winners and for losers… In any case it is necessary to strive for the situation, when this rivalry does not… develop into hostilities and far less into war.".

However the ex-KGB boss did launched a subtle jab at President Trump over his decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Change deal. Putin said he hope the international accord would lead to positive outcomes despite "different opinions".

The Russian President said: Not so long ago, the relevant decisions aimed at prevention of the climate change on our planet have been made in Paris.

Russia backs these decisions and has undertaken rather tough commitments to curb the carbon emissions… and is planning to implement these accords.

Lets hope that it will have certain positive results, however, there are different opinions on the issue." Unlikely peacemakers, Russia, have also offered to mediate in peace talks between South and North Korea.

A senior Russian official has offered to work with the neighbours to try to come to an agreement and prevent war from breaking out on the Korean peninsula.

Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of the Russian Senate upper house, is set to discuss the concerns surrounding Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programmes in separate meetings with the deputy head of North Koreas legislature and the head of South Koreas parliament on Monday.

The representatives from Pyongyang and Seoul will be in St Petersburg for a congress of parliamentarians and with Russia among those countries calling for a reduction in tensions following North Korea's recent threats, the congress provides a good opportunity for Russia to try to make some progress in quelling fears of war.

Konstantin Kosachev, head of the Senates international relations committee, told Russia media: I believe that during the meetings the Russian side will call [on North and South Korea] to hold direct contacts.

"This would be quite natural, but of course we cannot, and should not, force anyone to do so.".

S. Korea and U.S. kick off joint military drills, remain on alert on provocations from N. Korea - Duration: 2:02.

Our top story this afternoon...

South Korea and the United States have kicked off another round of joint military exercises.

The 10-day drills, described by the U.S. Navy as a 'maritime counter special operations

exercise', are taking place against the backdrop of increased tensions and the possibility

of provocations from North Korea.

Lee Unshin starts us off.

Another round of joint military drills by South Korea and the U.S. kicked off Monday

in the waters both east and west of the peninsula.

As many as 40 naval vessels from the two allies are involved in the exercises,... including

the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, which holds up to 70 aircraft... from

fighter jets to helicopters,... and the 18,000 ton submarine USS Michigan, packed with some

150 Tomahawk cruise missiles.

South Korean attack helicopters, defense units and warships such as the Sejong the Great

Aegis-armed destroyer have also been deployed for the training exercise.

In addition, the U.S. is using the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System during the drills,

monitoring North Korea's ground and naval movements up close.

The U.S. Navy described the purpose of the operation as 'to check the allies' communications

inter-operability and partnership.'

However there are concerns that Pyongyang may protest against the military exercise

with additional provocations,... as joint drills like these have antagonized the North

in the past.

The military remains on alert as officials from Seoul also raised a possibility of another

missile launch from North Korea around the date of China's 19th National Congress of

the Communist Party on October 18th.

Pyongyang's latest threats included a nuclear test and a ballistic missile launch only a

month ago.

Last week U.S. President Trump said that Washington is "always open" to negotiations when it comes

to North Korea,... but also will remain ready for other possibilities.

of the possibility of further provocations from up North.

South Korea-U.S. joint drills to begin Monday... upping pressure on North Korea - Duration: 2:08.

Our starting point this morning,... a joint drill between Seoul and Washington aimed at

boosting the level of deterrence in the face of any provocation.

The five-day drill that begins today,... comes amid mounting speculation of more North Korean

threats-- ahead of President Trump's visit to Seoul next month.

Kwon Jang-ho reports.

Another round of joint South Korea-U.S. military drills begin on Monday,... this time including

the USS Ronald Reagan.

The Nimitz-class nuclear-powered carrier supports up to 70 aircraft, from fighters to helicopters,

and is one of America's most powerful assets in the region.

An Ohio-class guided-missile submarine, the USS Michigan, has already arrived at the southern

port of Busan, carrying some 150 Tomahawk missiles.

The U.S. military are also providing several aircraft to a local exhibition in Seoul, including

the B1-B Lancer strategic bomber and the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jet.

Joint drills like these have antagonized North Korea in the past, and there are concerns

Pyongyang will react with its own display of force.

Military officials in Seoul have reported movement of mobile missile launchers in North

Korea, and remain on alert for any provocations.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is set to promise South Korea and Japan the protection of America's

nuclear umbrella against North Korea in a speech next month.

According to Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun, Trump will make the speech in Seoul, during

his 12-day visit to Asian nations, and he will look to up the pressure on Pyongyang,

stressing that the North Korea situation is the administration's most important challenge.

Trump also suggested on Friday that negotiations with Pyongyang might still be possible, but

that they remain ready for numerous possibilities.

Laying the groundwork for Trump's visit, Seoul's foreign minister, Kang Kyung-hwa, spoke on

the phone with her U.S. counterpart, Rex Tillerson, on Saturday night.

The foreign ministry revealed that they both hoped the visit will further strengthen the

bilateral relationship and find ways to work more closely together to tackle North Korea.

Automation is coming for us - Duration: 8:18.

hey guys I was just reading an article on autonomous trucks and I was gonna

give you a little background on something that I've had happened to me I

own the trash company a few years ago actually I still on it but I've noticed

that the city I lived in at the time was switching from regular trash trucks to

the kind that one guy drives and picks up everything so they were doing away

with two jobs now the city in the newspaper wrote an article saying they

was going to keep those guys until there they reached their you know attrition

age and it was going to not replace them but the truck the new truck the

automated truck we're still gonna need two people instead of that suggested one

well the the greed or innovation whatever you want to call it I can't

blame them got to be too much so what they did is they went ahead and made the

one guy run the truck and they got rid of the two they early retired them all

saved a lot of money save taxpayers money no they didn't save us money they

just spent the money somewhere else all right well that my point is they always

say it's gonna be one way and it always ends up another way you are gonna be

replaced it might take 10 years but you're gonna see that replacement start

probably in the next five years now regional drivers and local drivers which

they're gonna have those but the long-haul driver is gonna be the

dinosaur driver he's gonna be gone he can be the first one gone they're

telling us they're implying that these trucks will have a human co-pilot in

them doesn't that mean you are not going to work for that that piddly amount just

just so you can stop a truck but there's not going to be a human co-pilot there

maybe in the beginning there will be in the beginning but that will go away it

just like these on guard systems I read the report last year that the government

put out it said on guard prevents 98% of accidents that they encountered the

other two times 2% they created an accident now we know personally that on

guard freaks out all the time and that can you imagine that the system with if

we wasn't here it would just shut down in the middle of the road or who knows

what it would do we've all had experiences with on garden

that the government deems that it will save lives and it will I've talked to

friends about this and they're like well we're not going to be replaced blah blah

blah blah blah yes we are your truck's not going to be held in a phone of fear

texting it's not going to be on the phone it's not going to be crying

because mama done went and got with your brother or something back in the trailer

park right it there's no human emotion in a piece of the machine so we will be

different we will leave we're gone we replaced it'll start like this the

long-haul truckers gone they'll have people in here they'll say oh it's

working pretty good that guy's gonna be gone eventually there's gonna be staging

areas like they have in Ohio for the triples and doubles and trains and that

sets it that's where these automated trucks are going to drive to and then a

regional driver is gonna pick it up and deliver it it'll take a little more time

to get the infrastructure in place for regional drivers to be phased out so hey

that's great and when I say regional I don't mean Chicago to Birmingham because

I think that'll be gone - but LA to New York could be gone first right

it has to happen but the infrastructure as far as fueling trucks they can do

that but our way ad says that that uh it's not in place they can find a way

overnight they know how to do this stuff with the money they're gonna save okay

the in the industry cost billions of dollars we are the biggest Spence

besides fuel in a truck fuel than us all right owner operators pay for everything

so there's they they don't hurt them to have them but it really is a taxing on

company to have company drivers not saying anything bad about company

drivers I'm just saying that it does cost them more look at the profit all

right if they're paying if you're paying 150 dollars for your insurance the

company's paying another another 300 or 250 or something like that that's that's

that's a lot of savings workman's comp is it works out the same way the

company's paying 300 bucks a week for your workman's comp these things really

add up then there's just your base salary before tax right what you're

doing you're doing forty to sixty five thousand something like that that's just

money saved so if the truck that's gonna end up costing them an extra hundred

thousand dollars well hell that's a huge savings and I spend a hundred thousand

dollars to to save two hundred thousand dollars or four or five hundred thousand

dollars hell yeah but it's coming it's coming quick don't let nobody fool you

if you're an old-timer like me you're okay okay right you young guys I worry

about you I think the money has to be made in the next five years or you're

gonna have to evolve into another five-year plan which could still

definitely involved trucking you can still end up with a long career

but it's it's if if you're a young young guy if you're 21 getting in this

industry today my advice to you would be by truck quick and pay it off make you

next month your money in the next five or eight years and get out if you're a

young guy going in a company truck with aspirations for a long range I feel I

feel I feel bad for you there's there's always the Merchant Marines hell they'll

be automated - probably everything's going automated if you've been to a

Budweiser plant lately you back in everything is automated they load you

unload you boom it's gonna come the sad thing is is how many truck drivers are

on the road three or four four million five million

CDL holders this is going to be the biggest hit to the industry and to who

to the world economy actually since

since the Machine Age started I mean it's gonna put so many people out of

work and what are we gonna do did we do this to ourselves always complaining and

whining and wanting more money gotta have more money right

God knows nobody can raise the garden nowadays all right this is just another

one for my opinion videos but if you want to go out and read all day it's

gonna happen it has to happen it's sad thanks so much

This Tortoise Will Outlive Us All - Duration: 1:19.

- This is Mr. Mac.

He's an Aldabra Tortoise,

a giant tortoise species that can live

past 180 and may have the longest life span

of any creature on the planet.

(orchestral music)

Hailing from the Aldabra Atoll,

a small cluster of coral islands in the Indian Ocean,

the Aldabra Tortoise is massive.

Endowed with a domed shell, long neck,

and strong claws, they can grow to be longer

than four feet and can weigh as much as 500 pounds.

They live in grasslands and subsist on a diet

of dry, nutrient rich vegetation.

An Aldabra Tortoise has never met

a blade of grass it didn't like.

And it won't be deterred from eating it

even if it takes a while to reach it.

But the tortoises have had a harder time

finding food because of habitat destruction

caused by humans and increasingly climate change.

This is the Aldabra Tortoise.

U.S Inches Towards Battle, Hollywood's Dark Secrets Exposed - Duration: 12:47.

Or this is going to be a very big import video because we ...

of course are going to be talking about the open ...

Hollywood conspiracy that is being exposed right now what ...

are the main reasons why I really want to make this ...

videos because the big media industry the entertainment ...

news business will never admit to any wrongdoing and ...

criminal behavior and this time they have been caught ...

red-handed covering up aiding and abetting being ...

accomplices to not only sexual predators but also ...

pedophiles and in this video we're only going to get to the ...

tip of the iceberg which many people feel will destroy this ...

entire industry and I don't know about you but for me ...

and Industry that protects and harbors monsters should be ...

toppled the tip of this iceberg is of course media Mogul ...

Harvey Weinstein and this case just in itself proves that ...

there is a conspiracy happening so far dozens of ...

women are coming out talking about the sex abuse that they ...

suffered under this politically connected media Mogul and ...

as more details emerge. Situation is becoming more ...

disturbing as her finding out that Harvey Weinstein preyed ...

on victims that were also only 17 years of age and try to get ...

them drunk and sexually abused them and I know a lot ...

of people are shocked with these latest Revelations but ...

they shouldn't be because Hollywood has been giving us ...

hints for years now the actress Deanna Russo ...

tweeted in 2010 that quote my friend says I need to have sex ...

with Harvey Weinstein to make it in Hollywood could I ...

opted out for getting beat up instead like in a gang ...

Gwyneth Paltrow talked about this in 1998 so it's so hard to ...

talk about your movies I would hurt me sit and in return what ...

will you do for you. 30 Rock even made a skit ...

about this was one of the actresses saying she's not ...

afraid of anyone in Show Business that she quote turn ...

down intercourse with Harvey Weinstein and I'm no less ...

than three occasions out of five Seth MacFarlane even ...

made jokes about this. Generations you five ladies no ...

longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.

The people in the industry new well about what Harvey ...

Weinstein was up to but still remained quiet about it for ...

over 30 years while Hollywood demonstrated its complicity ...

while dropping hints about Harvey Weinstein out in the ...

open for everyone to see and I'll definitely what we're seeing ...

from all of this is how the corporate Hollywood media ...

m.pire industry loved this sexual predator until he only ...

got caught all the while when the media celebrities ...

politicians and even local law enforcement knew about this ...

and still decided to cover it up I mean this man was praised ...

and thanked more than God at the 2015 Oscars everyone ...

was still running inside jokes about him being a serious ...

sexual predator. Cover up here is really the ...

most Sinister aspect of this entire case as we're learning ...

about how NBC actively protected wearing steel the ...

top NBC Executives squashed the bombshell ...

Harvey Weinstein story and a reporter had to leave the ...

network and give the story to the New York or after facing ...

months of opposition no NBC is responding saying that they ...

quote let the story slip away but in reality they killed the ...

entire story with the reporter on the case saying quote ...

NBC did everything they could to delay it complicated and ...

ultimately kill it the New York City Police Department had ...

secret audio of Weinstein admittedly claiming he groped ...

a woman while sexually harassing another woman at ...

the time and they still never pressed any charges against ...

the New York Times SAT on this story for over 13 years ...

with of the reporter who originally worked on this piece ...

in 2004 saying that quote I was told.

At the time that Weinstein had visited The Newsroom in ...

person to make his displeasure known I knew he ...

was a major Advertiser in the times and that he was a ...

powerful person overall with her also claimed that she got ...

personal phone calls from Matt Damon and Russell ...

Crowe personally vouching for him in the story never ran until ...

13 years later the Weinstein Company was aware of the ...

payouts in 2015 the money Harvey Weinstein would pay ...

his victims to sign nda's and their life over so they couldn't ...

speak out against his crimes and they still didn't do ...

anything about it now imagine being a victim of Harvey ...

Weinstein and NBC The X local law enforcement his ...

company other celebrities are actively covering up his ...

crimes for him imagine viewing all this cover-up and ...

the pressure of actively speaking out against this man ...

and the odds of even getting Justice and because of this ...

cover up for over 30 years they're most likely won't be ...

any justice in this case as ruler.

Right now that Harvey Weinstein just fled to Europe ...

on his private jet to allegedly turned himself into sex ...

addiction rehab we seen a very similar move made by ...

famous director Roman Polanski oh by the way raped ...

teams and underage children ultimately fleeing to Europe to ...

avoid the persecution and sentencing for his unlawful ...

sex with children a man by the way who's still seen as a big ...

hero in Hollywood and praised by Hollywood celebrities even ...

Harvey Weinstein in 2009 wrote that Polanski has ...

served his time and quote must be free and now you ...

could see how these sexual predators and pedophiles all ...

protect each other because they're in the same industry in ...

the upper echelons of of course the FBI just opened up ...

an investigation after Harvey Weinstein after they feared he ...

would flee the country and that's exactly what he did ...

because he could just never come back like Pulaski and ...

never beheld the. Full force horrible actions and ...

the reason earlier I stated that Harvey Weinstein is just the ...

tip of the iceberg it's because Hollywood it's filled not only ...

with sexual abusers but also pedophiles as Corey Feldman ...

even said that the number one problem in Hollywood was and ...

is and always will be pedophilia.

It's all done under the radar.

Pedophilia.

Widespread.

Surrounded by them when I was 14 years old surround.

Literally didn't even know it it wasn't until I was old enough ...

to realize what they were and what they wanted and what ...

they were about in the types of people that were ...

surrounding me till I went for my God they were ...

everywhere like vultures. Corey Feldman came out ...

afterwards and said that he would love to name names but ...

he still hasn't Terry Crews has even come out and talked ...

about how he was sexually assaulted by yet another ...

high-level Hollywood executive till the James Van ...

Der Beek and even Rob Schneider who said the ...

Mughal is not alone wolf and Rob knows it because he too ...

was sexually harassed by director Elijah Woods even ...

came out previously before and said that Hollywood has a ...

pedophile problem this industry needs to be exposed ...

needs to be toppled because it is filled with pedophiles and ...

sex abusers with a lot of these abusers being so ...

powerful that they have still yet to face any repercussions ...

for their horrible actions would many famous power.

For celebrities even being afraid to name the individuals ...

that still do this to this day and of course they're not only ...

connected to the police the news business but also ...

high-level politicians which we all know the same exact thing ...

is going on in US Politics As We expose the horrible ...

actions by dentist Hazard former UK prime minister Ted ...

Heath Jeffrey Epstein and of course the Jimmy Savile ...

situation at the BBC actively covered up and made sure ...

that Jimmy savile's connection to the UK establishment was ...

never exposed and it's not just Hollywood that these ...

crimes happen they happen also in the upper echelons of ...

the supposed Elite Community especially amongst politicians ...

and to make the situation worse were also finding out ...

that the actress who has emerged as a Hollywood boys ...

in the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal.

Has just revealed that Twitter had locked her account on ...

Wednesday night as she posted evidence that multiple ...

producers were involved in this entire Scandal and we ...

have to understand kind of the bigger Dynamics behind ...

everything that's happening here because if you look at ...

sexual abuse it's really all about power and the powerful ...

being able to get away with it once you reach a certain level ...

of Fame once you reach the level of money sadly human ...

beings naturally seeks something more than just ...

those two basic things damaged human beings who ...

have an empty void within themselves try to fill up that ...

void with those two superficial things Fame and money and ...

when they reached enough of that they seek other things ...

like power the power over other human beings being ...

able to dominate them control them hurt them silence them ...

and abuse them with the elitist perversion of being able to ...

completely get away with it if you look at the upper ...

echelons of any kind of industry weather.

Political or media you see rampant cases of these kinds ...

of abuse and it needs to be stopped and only real way to ...

do that is to expose it is to shine the light on the ...

darkness and show these deprived monstrous Evil dark ...

energy vampire human beings for what they are and we ...

could only do that with a free and open press and not a ...

corporate or tart ATIV press that will ignore the victims of ...

such abuse which by the way YouTube is now deciding to ...

take away voices like mine and other independent ...

journalists answering us while choosing authoritative a new ...

sources those authoritative voices that of course cover up ...

and protect pedophiles and sexual abusers this is why I'm ...

independent and Free Press is more important than ever ...

and could only be possible because of you and your ...

participation and very curious about what you guys think ...

about this situation and how far the rabbit hole goes in this ...

story I'll be paying attention very closely to.

Trump will not permit Pyongyang to threaten U.S. with nuclear weapons - Duration: 2:15.

Members of the Trump administration are throwing their weight behind the president's strong

words on North Korea.

They say that, while the administration wants a diplomatic solution, it also has full military

options on stand-by.

Washington's UN envoy says President Trump's message was even shown through his recent

action on Iran's nuclear deal.

But the regime, clinging onto its leverage,... says its nuclear development is purely defensive.

Kim Mok-yon reports.

U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster has reiterated President Trump's message to

North Korea.

McMaster said on Sunday that Trump will not permit Pyongyang and its leader Kim Jong-un

to threaten the U.S. with nuclear weapons,... adding that he has been very clear about this.

He also stressed that Kim must recognize that developing a nuclear capability will not keep

him safer,... explaining it's actually the opposite.

*Another key Cabinet member,...

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, said President Trump has given him the green-light to continue

his diplomatic efforts with North Korea-- efforts that will continue until the first

bomb drops.

Tillerson added the U.S. has military preparations ready to go and has those military options

on the table,... adding the Trump team has spent substantial time perfecting them.

The top U.S. envoy to the UN, Nikki Haley, cementing the administration's position,...

said that President Trump's decision to not recertify the nuclear deal with Iran sends

a (quote) "perfect message" to North Korea.

This,... following Trump's announcement that he would not recertify the 2015 multilateral

deal under which Tehran agreed to curb its nuke program for sanctions relief.

Haley said the U.S. president is trying to make sure Iran does not become the next North

Korea,... adding the message is that Washington will not engage in a bad deal.

US hunting North Korea's underground bunkers so Kim will have NOWHERE to hide - Duration: 4:05.

US hunting North Korea's underground bunkers so Kim will have NOWHERE to hide

NORTH KOREA: US forces are working to locate Kim Jong-uns underground bunkers in NK. Pyongyang has been tunnelling for half a century, ever since the end of the Korean War.

North Korea is believed to be covered in vast tunnel complexes used to store weapons, soldiers and provide hiding places in case of invasion by the US.

These huge underground complexes are the achilles heel of anyone trying to launch a preemptive strike on Kim.

War planners fear the tunnels will be used to hide out forces until the first wave of bombing has passed – only for them to emerge and unleash an assault on the South.

US forces are trying to map out these bunkers in case of imminent war with North Korea. The Pentagon have begun assessing potential locations of underground bases and tunnels along the barbed-wire and mine-filled frontier with the South called the DMZ.

North Korea is believed to have thousands of artillery pieces and rocket launchers hidden in these tunnels ready to level Seoul.

Doug Wiltsie, chief of the US Army's newly formed Rapid Capabilities Office, visited the South last month to assess the situation. And today super-carrier USS Ronald Reagan arrived for war games amid fears of conflict with North Korea.

UNDERGROUND LAIR: North Koreas underground complexes have been alluded to in propaganda.

HIDING PLACES: North Korea appears to have dug-out bunkers for hiding missile trucks.

He said: The North Koreans use tunnels for both hiding their rockets and cannons, the artillery barrage that will start the war, and then there is also, within the ammunition stores they have, the belief is that there are chemical weapons in there also." Wiltsie told Defense News finding these underground facilities is "critical".

The army chief added these areas must be "identified and secured so they can be dealt with later".

Daily Star Online previously revealed war would start by the US deploying B-2 bombers armed with 14,000 kg bunker busters to smash open North Korea.

They would spearhead the assault and wipe out all known bases, before F-22 fighters would swoop in to mop up any forces which appear above ground.

However, the war simulation – produced by defence firm Stratfor – warned the US cannot "guarantee the complete removal of the threat of a nuclear attack by North Korea".

Tensions have reached new heights this year as a war of words erupted between Kim and Donald Trump. Last week, the US President had a briefing in the war room of the White House.

North Korea has been silent since September 15, but there remain fears of further nuclear and missile testing.

Kim Jong-un to become TERRORIST after North Korea war with US - Duration: 5:29.

Kim Jong-un to become TERRORIST after North Korea war with US

NORTH KOREA: Could Kim Jong-un become the worlds next Osama bin Laden figure?. War between Washington and Pyongyang would be bloody and long should the two powers come to blows over the growing nuclear crisis.

Day one of the conflict would be the most important as US bombers and special forces attempt to neutralise the rogue state's nukes and leadership.

However, if they do not manage to catch or kill Kim he could go underground and lead a vicious resistance against Washington and Seoul.

The North Korean leader would go into hiding like Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein, Professor Malcolm Chalmers from RUSI told this website.

He said Kim would attempt to link up with loyalist forces and launch a fightback against the US. There would then be a manhunt to track down Kim and either arrest or kill him.

Chalmers Professor Chalmers told Daily Star Online: "Kim would seek – as Saddam did in Iraq – to link in as far as he could with whatever resistance there was to the South Koreans and the Americans.

"Whether he would be able to do so would depend on the whether he was able to maintain his communications network." The defence expert detailed the devastating potential of a North Korea resistance in his paper - Preparing for War with North Korea.

He said an extended campaign of urban warfare waged by Kims resistance would play to the US weaknesses and undermine the political legitmacy of the occupation. Earlier this year, it emerged the reportedly the US is preparing occupation plans for North Korea.

KIM JONG-UN: North Koreas leader is determined to obtain ICBMs to the fury of the US.

NUCLEAR WAR: Kim Jong-un would organise a resistance from hiding if the US attacked North Korea. Osama and Saddam were both at the top of the US most wanted lists as they led the superpower on a global manhunt.

The al-Qaida leader was on the run for the better part of a decade until he was tracked down and killed by US Navy SEAL Team 6 in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Saddam spent almost a year in hiding organising resistance against the US invasion during the 2003 Iraq War. Donald Trumps day one assault on North Korea would be fraught with difficulties due to the states secretive decades of preparation.

US bombers levelled huge swathes of the nation during the Korean War, and have been tunnelling and digging bunkers to defend themselves from such an assault ever since.

All things play into Kims hands to allow him to escape capture or death, with huge underground bunker networks being built since the end of the Korean War.

This makes a preemptive strike extremely difficult, as there is no guarantee of being able to take out leadership or even nuclear weapons.

MANHUNT: Osama bin Laden went into hiding for years as the US tried to hunt him down.

Professor Chalmers wrote: A wider insurgency campaign against occupying forces and collaborators led by former regime commanders and using the massive network of underground facilities and stores to sustain itself.

They could mobilie support from signifcant elements of the population, ensnaring US and South Korean occupying forces in an extended war of attrition. Kims survival could provide massive legitimacy to any resistance – making him extremely dangerous for the US.

However, the defence expert told this website: It is possible if there was to be a conflict the South Koreans or Americans would find him on the first day and arrest him or kill him.

"Its entirely unpredictable, that is the nature of warfare.". Tensions have reached dangerous heights in recent weeks as the US ramp up the rhetoric amid fears of further missile or nuclear tests.

North Korea has been silent since September 15, but there are fears another weapons test could be due within the next few weeks.

Trump held a war room meeting with his generals this week, after secretary of defence James Mattis told his forces to stand ready for war.

World War 3: North Korea to 'retaliate' in protest against Donald Trump's military drills - Duration: 5:38.

World War 3: North Korea to 'retaliate' in protest against Donald Trump's military drills

The US and South Korean are set to hold a joint exercise in the East and West Seas from Monday to Friday. The US will deploy its nuclear-powered carrier, the USS Ronald Reagan.

North Korea is expected to respond with another. An anonymous military official said: In various locations in the North, a transporter erector launchers (TELs) have repeatedly appeared and disappeared.

Based on this, we have judged that the North could launch a provocation at any time, and we have remained on increased alert.. A defence official, who declined to be named, said: Though the US weapons systems will be displayed unarmed.

This shows Americas resolve that they could be deployed anytime in case of a contingency on the peninsula. Pyongyang has not launched any major provocation since it fired a ballistic missile over Japan in September.

But Seoul and Washington officials remain on high alert after recent warnings of more powerful action.

Pyongyang's mouthpiece, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), said: "Trump, an old lunatic, hurled a stream of abuses at the DPRK, which seemed to be suggestive of an extreme option against it He recently bluffed, talking about calm before a storm when meeting with military brass hats of the US.

Some days later, he made reckless remarks that the past DPRK-US dialogue proved ineffective and that only one thing would prove effective. Rodong Sinmun, newspaper of the North Korea's Workers Party, also attacked South Korea for toeing the US line".

The USS Ronald Reagan is 333-meters-long, 100,000-tonnes and is stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. The Reagan has a deck the same size as three American football fields and 70 aircraft on board, including fighter jets and helicopters.

During the drills, the airborne battle management aircraft, the Joint Surveillance Target Radar System, is expected to be deployed.

It is capable of monitoring ground force movements and coastal artillery. The Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Michigan has already arrived at the southern port of Busan as part of a regularly scheduled deployment.

It is reported to be armed with more than 150 Tomahawk tactical missiles with a range of 1242 miles. It is one of the largest submarines in the world and is capable of precision strikes on North Korea.

The US military has said its contribution to the exhibition will include a B-1B Lancer strategic bomber, A-10 Thunderbolt II, C-17 Globemaster III, C-130J Hercules, KC-135 Stratotanker, E-3 Sentry, U-2 Dragon Lady, RQ-4 Global Hawk and F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jets.

Also in the line-up will be a F-35A Lightning II, U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon and U.S.

The display comes following months of tensions with North Korea following tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles which were first tested in July. Last month, the hermit kingdom tested a missile capable of reaching continental US.

President Trump met with top defence officials on Tuesday to discuss his options.

In a statement, the White House said: This morning President Donald Trump met with members of his national security team to receive a briefing from Secretary of Defence James Mattis and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford.

The briefing and discussion focused on a range of options to respond to any form of North Korean aggression or, if necessary, to prevent North Korea from threatening the United States and its allies with nuclear weapons. After the meeting, the US flew two supersonic bombers over the Korean peninsula.

North Korea meeting was held in the situation room in the White House where US Presidents traditionally hold "war councils" at times of conflict. The most senior US general recently told the American army to "stand ready" for war with North Korea.

S. Korea and U.S. kick off joint military drills, remain on alert on provocations from N. Korea - Duration: 1:57.

South Korea and the United States have kicked off another round of joint military exercises.

The 10-day drills, described by the U.S. Navy as a 'maritime counter special operations

exercise', are taking place against the backdrop of increased tensions and the possibility

of further provocations from North Korea.

Lee Unshin tells us more.
