(upbeat music)
- Good morning!
- Good morning.
- Up and out of the house.
Because this little girl has an idea
for her Halloween costume.
So we're going to Party City and she's going to see
if she can find what she's looking for.
Is that all we're gonna say? - Sure.
- Sure, all right, let's do it.
- I don't know what I wanna be.
- You know don't. You're just getting ideas still.
- Yeah.
Actually there's a lot of stuff.
- [Tiffany] Yeah, they have a whole wall.
Should be in the back.
- Yeah, I remember they have,
like those little pictures.
- [Tiffany] Yeah.
Oh, let's see if they can see it.
- [Bryce] Weird.
- [Tiffany] Oh, that is weird (laughs).
It's like a cute, little girl there.
- [Bryce] No that.
- [Tiffany] Oh, wait, no, that's that, hold on.
Oh, right there.
- [Bryce] See, it's a boy.
You turn.
- [Tiffany] (groans) Did you see that too?
Oh, that one.
- [Bryce] This little girl. - [Tiffany] She's so cute.
(yells)
- [Bryce] It's weird.
- [Tiffany] And there it is, the wall of costumes.
- Scary stuff.
- [Sierra] Bryce, you need to be on this side.
Or we can look at male too.
- [Tiffany] This is funny, look at Grandpa.
- [Bryce] The one right next to that is cool.
- [Tiffany] There's Granny (laughs), I love it.
- [Bryce] We should totally get that for you and Papa.
- [Tiffany] (snorts) I just snorted (laughs).
What is that, is that a grandma (laughs)?
- Yes.
(Tiffany laughs)
- Costumes were purchased. - Yay!
- They made a decision.
But we're not gonna show you guys.
- Well, good morning, clan.
And welcome to Sunday of the vlogs.
I'm back in Phoenix, picking up my truck.
Got to make a long drive back home.
I'm excited to see Tiff and the kids.
I'm excited that Bryce's game today is later.
I'm actually going to be able to make his game.
Both of them, if they win, obviously.
So, I'm excited about that.
Kind of a busy, crazy morning.
I got up early, took a shower, packed my bags,
headed to the airport 'cause everyone just like,
"Las Vegas, you should be there two hours early."
'Cause it's a big airport and of course,
it's Vegas so it's busy.
But I made really good time.
And so, I was able to grab some juice.
I had a green juice, it was really good, from Jamba Juice.
I had a pizza for breakfast, which was really good.
And then, I got a chance to start editing the vlog.
And then, when I got on the plane,
it's a 45 minute flight.
So I've edited on the plane so vlog is edited.
But I have not finished encoding it and uploading yet.
So, I'm gonna head home right now to do that.
And just hug and kiss my family, I'm excited.
I hope you guys loved the last two videos.
They were long, they were over 20 minutes each.
It's hard to pick and choose what to put in there.
I do so much at these events.
Then, you have Sierra and Bryce and Tiffany,
back at home doing things as well.
So, hopefully you don't mind the 20 minute long vlogs.
They don't happen very often.
But when they do, I hope you enjoy them
and you watch the majority of them.
(whistle)
(shoes squeaking)
There you go, Bryce.
Nice job, good job!
(shoes squeaking)
(buzzer)
(Clintus groans)
Alright, we're home.
Unfortunately, Bryce's team lost.
Same team that they played yesterday and lost.
Bryce played good though.
He put up two points.
It's a rough team, it's a rough team.
Anyways, we're home now and dinner smells amazing.
Tiff's cooking something.
- [Tiffany] Pork.
- Pork, some carnitas, we're making carnitas.
And we're just trying to figure out
what we're doing for the rest of the evening.
So, stay tuned.
Well, the vlog got up super late today.
And I apologize for that.
I got home like right at 12:30,
finished editing, it had to encode.
It usually takes about 20, 30 minutes to upload,
even with my super fast internet.
Especially 'cause the vlog was 20 minutes long.
But I made a mistake.
I misspelled Villopoto.
So, I put Ryan Villopoto's name on the screen
and I misspelled it.
And I didn't catch it until I already uploaded it
and like was previewing it, dropping the cards.
And I was like (gasps).
I put one L and two Ts.
And I put an A instead of an O, like Vill-apoto.
It's Villopoto.
And it's two Ls and one T, anyways.
So, after I'd already uploaded it and everything,
I was ready to hit go, make it public, I caught it.
And I was like.
So, I had to like reedit, re-encode, and re-upload.
And then, we had to leave for Bryce's basketball game.
So, I had to upload on my phone, which is horrible.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed those videos.
Those last two days, guys, hands down,
best experience I've ever had.
Like, Monster Jam World Finals,
with the kids and the family, was like number one.
That just topped that, it just topped it.
And like, it was such an amazing experience.
But keeping the dirt bike spirit alive,
I'm gonna go for a ride.
So, I got my Fly gear.
Yes, a lot of you guys were asking me,
did I get to keep my Fly gear?
Yes, I got the keep the Fly gear.
So, that blue outfit, helmet, jersey,
goggles, gloves, pants, socks, and boots
were all mine to keep.
I just had to pay $25 to carry it on in the airplane.
So, $25 is mega worth it for all the gear.
Bringing it out to the garage,
getting ready to unload it.
I got about an hour of daylight left
so I think I'm gonna try and give it a whirl.
I don't know, guys.
I think I don't have enough gas.
I just remembered, riding with my dad the last week,
that I was low on gas.
And since I'll be riding by myself,
definitely don't run out of gas,
out in the desert by myself, so.
We're gonna take this opportunity to go get gas.
I don't know if I'm gonna have enough time to ride now.
Because it's gonna be a 12 minute drive,
15 minute drive to the gas station, fill up the gas tank.
I have to get gas in my truck too.
Since I'm there, I might as well, right?
Gotta make my weekly gas trip.
And then, the 12, 15 minute drive back,
that cuts half an hour to my riding time.
By the time I got geared up, get everything out of the bag,
it'll be dark, I think.
But I'm gonna get gas so that I don't have to worry
about that if I wanna ride say tomorrow
or later on this week with my dad.
I'll be good to go with gas.
That's like the worst problem
is when you go to do something,
you're like, "Oh, I'm out of gas."
Same thing with the grill, right?
I know that I'm my last propane tank
so I'm gonna take this opportunity
to fill up the propane tank
because we're 15 minutes away from the nearest gas station.
So, it's not very convenient.
We'll grab a couple gallons of gas for the bikes.
We'll fill up a propane tank for the grill.
And maybe we'll come back and you know what?
I probably won't go on the ride
but we'll unload the gear and put it away.
And we'll talk dirt bikes
'cause I wanna talk to you guys about something.
I wanna ask you guys something
about the dirt bike videos so stay tuned.
All right, gas for the bike,
(groans) gas for the grill.
Alright, let's open this bad boy up.
Get you guys a closer look
at this new Fly gear.
Oh, yeah.
So, they gave me the blue set.
I was the only one with a full blue set.
Not my first choice.
But hey, I'm not complaining 'cause it was free.
And it's new and it's Fly.
So, pants, jersey.
A pair of socks, which you can never have enough socks,
trust me, riding socks are invaluable.
Fly boots, I showed you guys from the first video.
These are the Mavericks, very cool.
They felt really good.
I have to admit, I like my Gaernes better.
Like, they feel more comfortable.
But those are still pretty comfortable
for first time riding, not broken in yet.
Then, of course, we have the matching Fly helmet.
Which, that's the coolest part right there.
I think the fact that the helmet matches the gear,
like that's a new thing.
Like, I bought this black helmet to be neutral
with whatever set gear that I have.
The fact that this helmet goes with the set,
now I can actually look for gear that matches this.
Like, okay, I can buy some other blue.
Or, you know, something that maybe has, like,
I don't know, green and turquoise or I don't know.
The fact that I've got two multiple options now,
like I like that, I like that.
Of course, matching gloves.
And a pair of goggles to go with it, full set.
And the bag, the bag.
It's a little smaller than the bag
that I have but much nicer.
Like, I'm definitely going to use this as my bag
and give that to the kids.
So, we can get rid of this rinky dink thing.
Though that was my dad's bag when I was a kid.
Then it was handed down to me,
and then, it was handed down to my kids.
I don't know, maybe I'll keep it.
Just for nostalgic purposes.
Alright, guys, so let's talk dirt bike videos.
Now, a lot of you guys have come
from one or more of our dirt bike videos.
Most likely, when the kids got the bikes for Christmas
or one of the early, early dirt bike videos of the kids.
Now, if you remember, those videos
were shot with me on the side with this camera,
or one of these cameras.
Like, shooting the video like this, right?
As the kids ride by.
Very similar to the video you just saw at the
Monster Energy Cup, right?
It's me holding the camera, getting them by.
Very similar to watching dirt bike videos on TV, right?
The races and that sort of thing.
It's somebody from the third party.
And ever since I got my bike and started riding,
it's been from the GoPro, right?
On my top of my head.
Putting one on Bryce, one on Sierra,
if she's riding, and one on me.
And so, there's no one there to hold the camera.
Now, when we ride, like when we go camping,
or at the lake or something like that,
and when Tiffany can start the video
from this point of view, I feel like that's great.
But then, it cuts to the GoPro, right?
And I feel like, me personally,
the videos aren't as fun, they're not as exciting,
they're not as dynamic,
and they're not as enjoyable to watch, me personally.
I much would rather watch a bike go by
versus watching, you know, the first person view.
So, I'm trying to think of ideas for when I go riding,
whether I'm by myself or with my dad or with Bryce,
how we can get some footage from this type of angle, right?
Now, my first thought is,
I'm gonna buy like a cheap tripod.
Like, cheap, 'cause it's gonna be out
in the dirt and dusty and whatever.
And mount a GoPro on it, right?
And then, I just go out to ride,
take a minute, set the tripod up, set the GoPro up,
and then, just sit it down.
You know, sit up in different angles where I can ride.
And I can literally just ride by,
grab it with on hand, ride to the next spot,
drop it, and just go that way.
The problem with that is is it's a wide angle lens.
GoPros are wide angle lenses.
You can make it shorter but it's just not the same.
Either way, it's designed for wide angle fisheye.
And I have no idea what the shot's gonna look like.
I mean, unless I pull my phone out every time,
and set the shot up.
When you're in the middle of riding,
it's just not something--
It's almost like I need a camera man, right?
You need a third person there to get those shots
where I can focus on riding
and he can focus on the shots.
And that's just not feasible.
So, if you guys have any ideas of what I can do,
or what I can do with the GoPro,
or ideas that I can do that you would like
to see me do for the dirt bike videos.
'Cause I mean, I'm not gonna lie, guys.
I do enjoy riding, I do.
I love it, I love it.
And you know, going to the races,
like Supercross and Motocross and stuff like that,
it reinvigorates me, it makes me wanna ride more.
And like I said, I was gonna ride today.
I forgot I needed to get gas.
And of course, I'm always chasing the sun.
I'm definitely gonna ride sometime this week.
But I'm trying to think of like,
making the videos more interesting for you guys.
I feel like the two or three minutes of GoPro footage
with music or with me talking or just straight audio,
isn't quite as entertaining or enjoyable to watch.
So, if you guys have ideas,
let me know in the comments down below.
I would love to hear it.
Better yet, if you could link me to some videos
or some channels that you like watching,
dirt bike YouTubers, do that.
Like, link some--
I don't know if you can do videos.
It might get like blocked.
But like, channel names, give me channel names
of YouTubers that make dirt bike videos
that you like watching and give me some ideas.
Just give me some ideas. I don't want to copy anybody.
But just give me some ideas
of how to make my videos better.
Girls are in the kitchen.
Smells amazing.
- [Tiffany] That, it's just falling apart.
- [Clintus] It's the best way to have pork.
Some chiles, it smells good.
So, what do you plan on making with this?
- Well, since you're not gonna be here
on Tuesday for taco Tuesday,
we're doing it two days early.
- [Clintus] (yells) Carnitas, carnitas.
- Burritos, tacos, tostada.
- [Clintus] You know I wanna make some tacos.
- I know.
- [Clintus] I wanna make some burrito sized tacos.
(laughs) It's what I do.
- We have a lot of street tacos.
- [Clintus] Mhmmm, what is this, giant pretzel?
- [Sierra] Yes.
- [Clintus] You got cheese with it?
No cheese, Louise.
Sierra cut the onions and tomatoes.
Looking good, looking good.
Camera's out, does that mean you shot a video?
- I was going to but then we didn't.
- [Clintus] (laughs) I was going but then we didn't.
- 'Cause I couldn't really help it
and we didn't really have time.
- [Clintus] Okay, so, when are you gonna shoot it then?
- We moved all that stuff that was over there.
- [Clintus] When are you gonna shoot then?
- I don't know.
- [Clintus] Alright.
And that's the end of the vlog, guys.
Everyone just kind of dispersed after dinner.
And me and Tiff just kind of chilled
on the couch for a little bit until she fell asleep.
I started season three of Game of Thrones.
I know I'm a little far behind but as you know,
I don't watch a lot of TV.
So, I'm just kind of slowly pacing myself through that.
So, I started season three.
And we'll see you guys tomorrow for Monday.
Start of a new week, kids go back to school.
They're kind of glad but kind of bummed at the same time.
It's kind of one of those like,
"Oh, I gotta go back to school.
"But I'm excited to see my friends," kind of thing.
So, they start school tomorrow.
Bryce has basketball practice.
And that's it, we'll see you then.
Vlog on.
- Hey, Clintus.
My name is Jace Dupree, I'm on my HoverBoard.
I live in Florida and remember, vlog on, baby.
