2018, May, something something...

Actually I just finished this past semester yesterday

and today I will be flying with my friend

to a country which is near the Netherlands

AND IT IS

the Czech Republic!!

My friend and I planned to meet at 9am at this gate

I'm almost here but I didn't see my friend

Hello everyone I'm Chelsea ^ ^

Today is our Day 2 at the Czech Republic

We arrived at Cesky Krumlov last night

This is a REALLY REALLY beautiful town

You can see the tower behind me

Isn't it super COOL

This is a castle

and around the castle there is WATER

AND WATER

This is my friend who showed up late yesterday LOL

Behind her is an old man

playing some sort of instrument

We are currently walking in the direction towards the castle

because people said there is a nice photo spot!!

From the viewing point

we can take photos of the whole town!!

It's a really beautiful town

so I really hope that I can take some nice photos

We have been walking for the whole morning and

we took photos of the tower

as well as a panorama of the whole city

later we find an observation point

now we're finally about to have LUNCHHHHH

this is a restaurant that we found randomly

on google maps..

not really sure about the quality of food here

but seems like a lot of people recommended it

Here's the name of it!

We just ordered

the "recommended menu"

which includes soup,

meat, and a cake???

we've been waiting for a really long time and here comes the

MEAT

so let me show you the meat..

The meat here is usually served with purple cabbage

and we just finished the bread

Hello everyone I'm Chelsea!!!

My friend and I arrived in Prague last night!

WOOOOO LET ME SHOW YOU AROUND FIRST

SO COOL

But I can't zoom in with my gopro sry

we're planning to walk around downtown Prague today

and see some famous tourist spots LOL

Our first stop is the

Old Town Square

But sadly the Prague astronomical clock

is currently under construction :(

but it's alright

and TBH there's not much to see on this plaza..

I guess it's mainly because we traveled TOO MUCH

during the past three months

and we went to Germany, France,

almost all the plazas look similar

so there's nothing special :(((

okay i found something

welp I don't get this

and just like any other plaza around the world

there are a lot of

"behavioral artists"

cuz we ran into someone we knew LOL

Now we're walking along the Charles Bridge!

We're almost reaching the end now

we walked from the other side

there are a lot of people selling little items

but they all need permits

in order to legally sell any products here

As you walk through the bridge

you will see a lot of statues at both sides of the bridge

I'm not sure about the exact number but

maybe 60..??

the other side of the bridge looks really pretty!!

We're basically following the crowd here

I feel like this bridge

is a little bit overrated..??

Like it's not as "magical" and as pretty as

people said

maybe we walked on the wrong bridge??

[no we didn't]

I think we should walk on a bridge where

we can talk photos that include this bridge

My friend has been taking photos of me from the back

I can hear it LOL

this gate looks prettier

there're so many tourists OMG

there are so so so so so many tourist groups

this is the first time during the past three months

that I've seen this many tourist groups in Europe LOL

and specifically tourists from Europe

SO MANY PEOPLE

We are now at the Lennon Wall

a place where people commemorates John Lennon

People painted it

with all these different colors

and wrote

lots of slogans or just simple words

my friend just asked me how to read this

which is something written in Korean

"Soram I love you"

and there's also some people's signatures

"I HAVE BEEN HERE"

But most of the words put down here are related to

"LOVE AND PEACE"

it's really moving

for example

some people wrote

this sentence really strikes me

there are a lot of people

taking selfies here

lots of tourist groups come here as well

there's an artist playing music :)

Now we're at

the "dancing house"!

It got this name because it looked weird LOL

really different from normal houses

there's a bridge at the back

now we are off to a bridge

where we can also include the

Charles Bridge at the background!

so we're here!!

and you can see the Charles Bridge

but why can't you see it now

it's because it's in front of me

so let me turn around

if you see it from the distance it looks better I think

but idk why it's special

maybe it's because there are a lot of tourists

on my right hand side there is the old palace of Prague

and their old castle

something really funny just happened

so we were taking photos just now

and there were lots of cars lining up

to get through the traffic light

so there was this car which

keeps blowing the car horn

and my friend said it was like the opening scene

in La La Land

where everyone goes

I feel like people who walk past us would think

we're psychos

K: "like it's really pretty"

not sure how I should carry this conversation LOL
