hi Saar here and in this Sign of Life video I'm going to tell you why you can't stop being selfish

I want you to think of someone you know who's

selfish.

Do you have someone in mind?

I assume you don't admire that person, right?

In her book 'The Virtue of Selfishness' Ayn Rand wrote the following: "In popular usage

the word selfishness is a synonym of evil."

And you know what?

She has a point I mean we all find someone else's selfishness

infuriating or upsetting.

But I want you to think about it for just a few seconds - why does it actually bother you?

Well, let me tell you this: it's not because you care about the greater good.

It's because you care about yourself, first and foremost.

Surprise! you are selfish too!

But wait, don't get upset.

As Ayn Rand wisely wrote the problem isn't with being selfish as much as it is with our

perception of it.

Selfish - lacking consideration for other people; concerned chiefly with one's own personal

profit or pleasure.

Think about it, the first part of this dictionary definition really dictates our perception

of the word 'selfish' and we've got it all wrong.

Being concerned with your own profit doesn't mean you lack consideration for others.

But on the other hand, being concerned mainly with other's personal pleasure means you lack

consideration for yourself.

I want you to listen very carefully now - being selfish isn't a choice.

It's a given.

It's actually goes deep down into the very core of our existence - we want to survive

which is possibly the ultimate selfish act.

And that's totally fine.

Like all other animals, we are wired to put ourselves first.

I want to share something personal with you - some years ago, I had a traumatic incident.

Someone attacked me, viciously.

He punched me straight in the face and kicked me several times while shouting "I'm going

to kill you."

This person was my neighbor.

He is my parents' age and he had known me since I was a toddler but that didn't stop

him from being so violent.

And while he was punching me I noticed another neighbor standing close by, watching the whole thing.

A week later that neighbor came to see me and he said: "I don't know what happened to me.

I wanted to help but I just...

I couldn't.

I froze in place.

And while it's hard to accept this, and trust me I've had problems accepting this myself

- it's only natural to fear for your own life even when you see someone else in need.

Let me say this out loud: I try to be as selfish as I can.

Yes, you heard right.

Being selfish should be an aspiration.

And sure, you can definitely put others first and do things for them but here's the catch:

You simply won't have time or energy left for yourself.

But if you let go of the common misconception of selfishness and put yourself first, not

only you're going to be able to fulfill yourself, but you're also going to be able to help others

in a more concrete way.

On Medium, where I publish my articles, There's a whole section called: 'Self.'

Yet most people still don't want to be called 'Self-centred'

It's because of the way we portray it - it's one of those twisted moral high ground of

ours.

That's why saying "I'm happy with my life" is conceived as bragging.

With my articles and my videos, I'm always encouraging people to be a little more self-centred.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

You see, I truly want to help others live a more fulfilled life but even this desire

comes from within so it's fair to say that it's a selfish act.

And there's absolutely no shame in that.

I'm fulfilling myself by helping and guiding you through your own fulfillment.

It's not a contradiction - it's a perfect loop of selfishness.

But ultimately, it's up to you to be consumed with your self-fulfillment journey.

To be fanatic about it.

To be selfish.

After all, that's why it's called: self-fulfillment.

The moral message of this video is that we can't keep misusing the word selfish because

otherwise we will never allow ourselves to be selfish.

What we need is a better word or phrase to define those who don't care about others at all.

the presence of eye bags is a common problem that affects people regardless

of age gender or ethnicity eye bags are typically caused by genetics has often

seen in younger people or age-related where fat around the eyes prolapse is

forward the initial response of many people is to buy a bunch of under eye

creams that claim to get rid of eye bags I'll explain why I creams do not

actually work for under-eye bags I'm Dr. Amiya Prasad I'm a

Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and a Fellowship-trained oculofacial or

oculoplastic surgeon I've been practicing in Manhattan and Long Island

for over 20 years my training was first in eye surgery after which I pursued

advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids I

treat eye bags every day in my practice I also specialize in managing

complications of eye bag related procedures performed by other doctors as

mentioned earlier eye bags can be seen at any age I've treated three

generations of the same family for eye bags the youngest patient I retreated

was 14 years old and many people who come to me are in their 20s and 30s and

have been aware of puffiness under their eyes since their teens this under-eye

puffiness is always present and makes one look tired and older is caused by a

condition referred to as lower eyelid fat prolapse this means that the fat

normally around your eyes has pushed forward creating a bulge this is why

it's called lower eyelid fat prolapse or herniated fat this differs from

temporary causes of bags such as fluid associated with

allergies sinus problems soft intakes and hormonal fluctuations while these

can all cause puffiness they are usually intermittent these temporary causes can

also make the under eye puffiness due to fat appear much worse creams which claim

to eliminate under-eye bags don't work because they cannot physically reach the

deep fat pockets and have any effect the best way to fully correct eye bags is

through surgery to sculpt and remove the displaced fat pockets cosmetic I creams

however can improve quality texture and color of the skin under and around the

eyes I developed some skin care products which are designed for this purpose

there are basically two strategies to help improve the appearance of under-eye

bags if someone has slight fat prolapse pushing forward and has a certain

anatomy of the bone structure under the eyes we're in a space called the tear

trough fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm can be used to blend the

transition between the elevation of the fat pocket and the hollow of the tear

trough this approach to camouflaging lower eyelid fat with filler has been

very useful in our practice to help patients with minimal fat prolapse or

under eye puffiness if someone has more severe eye bags the more definitive

treatment is a surgery procedure called lower eyelid blepharoplasty most general

plastic surgeons perform this procedure with an incision in the lower eyelids

right beneath the eyelashes and sometimes remove lower eyelid skin in

attempt to improve wrinkles this approach is called a transcutaneous

blepharoplasty I see a lot of patients who have had this procedure they come in

complaining of losing the shape of their eyes

the lower eyelid is pulled downward I also see a number of patients who have

had complications from this procedure like lower eyelid retraction and lower

eyelid ectropion these conditions result from skin shortage under the eyes and

compromising of lower eyelid support my procedure of choice is called

transconjunctival blepharoplasty I feel this approach is a minimally invasive

procedure that allows me to address under-eye fat pockets surgically from

the inside of the eyelid there is no external incision or any effect on the

supporting structures of the lower eyelid I essentially reduce and reshape

the fat to address the puffiness so you no longer have bags under your eyes

while maintaining the natural shape of your eyes the goal is to appear as if

you never had I bags this is very highly successful procedure with faster

recovery that allows my patients to return to work in about a week we

routinely perform this procedure under local anesthesia with light sedation in

our certified facilities in both our offices for many patients who come to us

from all over the world for this procedure they like that they don't have

to go to a hospital surgery center and can be comfortable having the procedure

done in our office and they go home soon after surgery not employing general

anesthesia makes patients more comfortable and makes their recovery

much faster since they're not recuperating from the effects of general

anesthesia if I bags are your concern don't waste money on creams when you

understand how the underlying lower eyelid anatomy of the fat pockets which

have prolapsed forwards are responsible for these under-eye bags

buying creams as a treatment doesn't make sense

I recommend you meet with qualified and experienced cosmetic surgeons to learn

about your options which are filler placement to camouflage or surgery which

Welcome everyone to another video today we're gonna talk about the five servants

that can rival Gilgamesh without further ado let's begin. So aside from

the gods,

Gilgamesh is undeniably the strongest servant in the entire Fate franchise

Gilgamesh might not have the best physical combat skills he also doesn't

possess a great amount of strength or durability, in fact if he were to fight

hand-to-hand combat he'll probably lose to just about anyone yes including Mata

Hari jk

bastard beat just about everyone. His noble phantasm the Gate of Babylon an EX

noble phantasm capable of destroying just about anyone or anything in its

path a noble phantasm is like a trump card

it is a servants ultimate attack usually capable of turning the tides of a battle

when deployed and Gilgamesh's noble phantasm the Gate of Babylon stands

above all other noble phantasms it is the strongest trump card allowing him to

wield multiple multiple noble phantasms however, it's alone this useless

it requires the owner to possess a great amount of wealth before being of any use

Gilgamesh having acquired all the treasures in the world makes the Gate

of Babylon the strongest noble phantasm in the world. With the power to summon

Enkidu the chains of heaven capable of immobilizing even the strongest of

servants like Heracles he is already practically

but he doesn't only have Enkidu in his arsenal of noble phantasms he also

possesses the Enuma Elish or what he calls Ea the sword of rupture named

after the god of creation and said to be the sword that separated heaven and

earth. With those two weapons he can rival gods and even defeated them in the

epic of Gilgamesh. Also remember that those aren't his only

weapons. No, he has an arsenal of other noble phantasms also capable of

devastating destruction and all made easily accessible with the key to his

Treasury Babi-lu so who in the world could possibly defeat this guy? That's

what you're about to find out. Number one Lancelot Berserker so in fate/zero we

saw a short battle between Lancelot and Gilgamesh and hell that was sick

where Lancelot held his own in the battle he no doubt would have been

able to get close and forced Gilgamesh into using Ea or even Enkidu if it

wasn't for Gilgamesh's withdrawal. With Lancelot noble phantasm the night of

boner I mean the night of owner he is able to take over anything he deems as a

weapon and converts it into his own noble phantasm including Enkidu or even

Ea. Being a berserker he also has madness enhancement allowing him to

rampage for as long as he likes however this will take a huge toll on the master

Berserker is able to constantly rampage until his master eventually runs out of

mana and dies or when his master uses a command seal to withdraw if Lancelot

actually gets a master like ilya he can possibly overwhelm Gilgamesh and

force Gilgamesh into using Ea or Enkidu and eventually allowing Lancelot

to take control of the weapons and provide the best counter attack in FATE

HISTORY except that there is one tiny problem having Ilya as a master will

probably not end well for Lancelot too, since he'll just charge head on into

battle like everyone else and end up well you know.. Thanks to Iilya's

delusional thoughts that Berserker is the strongest he can do anything

Number two Enkidu if Enkidu were alive it would mean that Gilgamesh wouldn't

have the chains of heaven which is actually Enkidu and according to Gilgamesh's

past Enkidu held his own against Gilgamesh in a fight that lasted about a

week if I recall correctly they were so evenly matched their Gilgamesh decided

to regard Enkidu as his only friend and was the only person

Gilgamesh felt was worthy to moan for prior to Enkidu's death 'BUT EA is also a person

that can beat Gilgamesh before manifesting as a sword this Dumb Ranger

doesn't even know he's talking about!!! NO, that is where you're wrong

Ea I say God Enkidu is a manifestation made from clay and water! And upon

Enkidu's death Gilgamesh exclaimed "In all this world

only one shall be my friend thus not for all eternity shall his worth ever change."

as Enkidu passed on living only the thunderous cry of the king of heroes

Enkidu was the only one deemed worthy as a rival as someone who held his own

against the mighty king and as a friend... Number three Artoria

Pendragon to many people it's their life through her noble phantasm is one of the

few noble phantasms able to rival Gilgamesh's and Enuma Elish

given to her by the Lady of the lake Avalon

untouchable even to the five magics the ultimate protection that nothing can

penetrate (except Shirou) combined with Excalibur the holy sword owned by the king of knights

is the ultimate rivalry to the Enuma Elish the ultimate counter to

Gilgamesh's strongest noble phantasm

Number four Emiya Shirou the harem king that stole my girlfriend despite being one of

the weakest heroes in the franchise amia is possibly the only true counter to

Gilgamesh with his noble phantasm the unlimited blade works

Unlimited blade works he is able to manifest a reality marble where a bunch

of fake noble phantasm are at his disposal so according to Fate logic

Emiya's fake noble phantasms can rival Gilgamesh's noble phantasm and also

thanks to Gilgamesh being too arrogant he lost the battle against Shirou

in fate stay night unlimited blade works because he held back from using

Ea and it only costed him an arm and his death I mean that's all right?

just a heads up I'm just using young Shirou as an example since that is the only

good battle between him and Goldy but what I'm actually saying is that the

servant Emiya is the one that can beat Goldy not young Shirou because as you can

see in Fate Stay Night unlimited blade works it wasn't Shirou that killed Gilgamesh

it was Archer the counter Guardian Emiya not that Shirou that had that fucking

harem with Rin.. and Sakura and Saber... (muttering)

Finally, number five Ozymandias with his noble phantasm Ramesseum

Tentyris a divine protection that grants immortality to Ozymandias and his

guardian beasts making total destruction of both the temple and himself necessary

to defeat him there are various guardian beasts

including at least seven sphinxes and others like stone lions it is a divine

curse of an ancient Egyptian divine spirit that acts as poison to any

invaders and killing typical creatures in two seconds weakening servants by

ranking down their parameters and occasionally weakening some of their

skills a curse of the Gods that stops enemies from activating noble phantasms

by sealing them. With this, it is total negation of any

attacks from Gilgamesh due to gilgamesh's inability to use the gate

of Babylon so here's a short skits I made to show what Gilgamesh would be

like against the face of Ozymandias

the Ahl Kitab did not adopt polytheism as their religion.

It means that they claimed to be followers of the belief of monotheism.

However, they practiced polytheism and the Quran warned them of that.

The answer to the question from the Quran was that since the civilization based on monotheism

had become dominant in the society, and women shift to husband's home after marriage

rather than men joining bride's family, Muslim men can marry women of Ahl Kitab.

This is the context in which the permission was granted to marry Ahl Kitab.

We should understand it keeping these circumstances in view.

The real issue to consider is that of polytheism and monotheism rather than the separation of Ahl Kitab and non-Ahl Kitab.
