Instagram mum who posts advice for busy parents caught cruelly abusing her own son, 6, in horrific attack
AN Instagram mum who posts lifestyle advice for parents has been caught cruelly abusing her own son. Olga Shvetsova, 31, was filmed in kicking and slapping her six year old boy at a shopping centre play area in Ukraine.
The blogger only stopped the outburst when an employee of the mall ran to intervene and separated her from son Vitalik. An eyewitness said: "She was shouting 'I hate you' and all that sort of stuff.
Another said: "She was totally insane. Police in Zaporizhia were called but took no action, yet a scandal erupted after the shocking CCTV footage was released on the web.
Natalia, manager of the play area, said: "When the child is being kicked in his back – it is not at all a calm way to behave. "All our staff was stunned.
Shvetsova was hit by a wave of angry messages posted to her account, which she then deleted.
She admitted to kicking her son, and also spanking him in a recorded rant where she confessed that she took her stress and exhaustion out on him. She said: "I throw tantrums from time to time.
"If you are a kind of person who never shouted at her child, who never hit her child – I am very proud of you….
"I am a different person. I can shout, I can spank, I can reprimand. This is me, just as I am.".
She complained that it was hard to raise two children on her own, and that her husband was often at work and "does not live at home for weeks on end".
She added: "There was the reason for this situation, and it was not about Vitalik. But I do not want to share my problems with others.". The Instagram mum then claimed she was suffering from fatigue and emotional tiredness.
She said her son "did not get any bruises". And added: "He is not hungry, he is at home and he is being fed well, we do not beat him for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so please.
"He has lots of toys, he goes to sports every day, he has holidays, he lacks nothing. Please do not worry about him, he is doing well.
"He is not living with his grandparents, nannies are not bringing him up, I am doing everything myself, using my own forces, nobody is helping me.
"When you are doing everything on you own and nobody is helping you, no grandparents, no nannies, naturally anything can happen. But other mothers hit back on social media.
One person wrote: "The worst thing is that there is nothing about love for her child in this video.
"Fed well, dressed well, I am on my own, no nannies, so I am a hero… wait, honey, and see what happens in some 10 or 15 years?".
While another Instagram user said: "In a normal county she would have been jailed already and deprived of parental rights.
