Hey what's up team welcome to another edition of Two Minute Tuesday...seated version. Changing it up a little bit today
Hey I want to talk to you, we've been talking about our Launch Team practices, our Dream Team practices
some things that we're gonna really commit to doing. And so the first one as
a team is we're gonna live in community. You know because we need to be in
relationship with God and with each other. The second one that we're going to
commit to doing we talked about last week, is that we would ignite purpose. Our
purpose and purpose of others. God made you for a purpose we want to help you
discover it. The third thing I want to talk to you about today, our commitment is
simply this. It's that we would find and follow Christ together.
Spoiler alert, we're a Christian church all right. And you know I think just in
case it's not clear to you, the whole reason we're doing this is because Jesus
changed my life about a little under 10 years ago I met Him, and it changed
everything. And now my life is dedicated to introducing as many people to Jesus
as I can. And that's why we're starting Lift Frisco. We want everybody on our
team to find and follow Jesus. And this is fun for me because I know a lot of
people on our team, you may not be there yet. We've got a team full of people, and
we're gonna have a church full of people, who are on all different stages of their
spiritual journey. And our hope is that our church would be a place where you
can just take a next step with God. Well let me just tell you this as
clearly as I can though. I really believe in two things for everybody that joins our
team. I want you to have a personal relationship with God through His Son
Jesus. Man it's gonna change everything for you when you experience a
relationship with God. And then I want everybody to be baptized. Those are those
are just the two things that I want everybody on our team to experience is a
relationship with Jesus, and then baptism. And so you know wherever you're at on
your journey, that's the end state. That's what we're working toward and I just
want to encourage you by telling you that, again I can't stress this enough, so
many people have said no to church but they haven't said no to God. And that's
why this is our value we want to introduce people to Jesus not to
religion not to Christianity not to the Bible even we just want to introduce
people to Jesus because when people meet Jesus everything changes. So as a team
we're really committed to being a place where people can find and follow Christ
that's a commitment we make together as a team
