Google Home Mini Review - Duration: 6:47.

What's happening YouTube, I'm Josh Teder for 6 Months Later and today we

have our very first look at the Google Home Mini, the newest product in the

Google Home family. Priced at $49, the Google Home Mini will go head-to-head in

the smart speaker space against Amazon's Echo Dot. Now when I opened my Google

Home Mini, one of the first things that struck me was just what a nice packaging

job Google does. They've done this with a lot of their products recently, their

packaging job reminds me a bit of Apple, you just open the device and boom

there's the Google Home Mini. Now when I opened up the box and first saw the

Google Home Mini in person, one of the things that really struck me was it was a lot

bigger than I was expecting. Now of course, yes it is much shorter than its

Big brother/sister, the Google Home. However, the circumference of the Google

Home Mini is comparable to that of the Google Home or slightly larger. When you

pick up the Google Home Mini, it's got some weight to, it the device does not

feel cheap at all. The design looks really nice too, again I'm a big fan of

what Google has been doing with their hardware design recently. They are

consistently creating products that look like they're meant to be placed around

your home. Now once turned on, the Google Home Mini will prompt to you on what you

need to do next to complete the set up. And when it does that you'll notice how

clear the sound actually sounds coming from the Google Home Mini. Google: "welcome to

Google Home, to get started, download the Google Home app on a phone or tablet."

It's a fifty dollar speaker, don't get me wrong this is not a bose or sonos

speaker quality here, but still for 50 bucks it's pretty impressive, especially

with people's voices. Now I don't have an Amazon Echo Dot unfortunately to compare

it to so I can't compare them head-to-head, but it sounds really nice.

I think if you get this in like playing podcasts or want to listen to the

news in the morning, you're going to be happy with the way it sounds. Now if

you're going to play a lot of music on your Google Home Mini, that's kind of up

in the air. I did notice the sound quality for music is not as good as the

Google Home, and definitely not if you're going to use a you know chromecast

audio and plug it into a Bose speaker system or sonos speaker. Now setting up

the Google Home Mini is a breeze, it's very similar to the other Google Homes

I've already had to set up as well as my chromecast and chromecast audio devices.

Although Google has added some really nice animations into their app when you

set up the Google Home Mini. Now one thing I noticed this time around setting

set up the Google home mini now one thing I noticed this time around setting

up a Google device is that Google has added a feature in the setup process

your Wi-Fi network password so that future Google devices you set up, you

don't have to type in the password again. One of the other things I noticed

with the Google Home Mini is this device can get pretty loud. The way you adjust

the volume on the Google Home Mini is you just tap one side of the device to turn

the volume down and then you tap the other side to turn it up. It works pretty

well. Now another thing I noticed with the

Google Home Mini was that the microphone pick up on this device is surprisingly

very good, just like the Google Home even when you're playing a podcast or music, I

found that Google Home Mini hears me just as consistently as the Google Homes

I have can. In certain situations I've also noticed the Google Home Mini will

actually pick up my voice and answer even though I'm a little bit closer to a

Google Home device. Now this could be because of echoes or reverberations off

the wall, but it seems like the microphones of the Google Home Mini are

quite good. Now one feature the Google Home Mini doesn't have that the Google

Home currently has, is the ability to pause music or a podcast by just tapping

the top of the Google Home Mini like you can do with the Google Home. You also

can't summon the Google Assistant from the Google Home Mini by doing a long

press on the top of the device. Now the reason for this was when Google gave out

Google Home Mini beta devices to journalists, some journalists found that

this function was not working correctly so Google just decided to disable it. Now

another feature noticeably missing from the Google Home Mini is the ability to

tell the Google Assistant on the Google Home Mini

to mute the microphone. So using your voice to just mute the microphone. Now

the reason for this is probably because the experience of the Google Home Mini

was a bit inconsistent with how to mute the microphone. So it seemed like some of

the journalists were able to do this before the release to the general public

where you could tell Google to mute the microphone, however if you did that with

a Google Home Mini, what what happened was it would mute the microphone but

then if you wanted to unmute it you would have to go to the device, turn the

witch to mute and then turn it back to unmute so you had to do like two switch

maneuvers there. It probably would have been better if Google just put a button

on the back of the Google Home Mini like they did with the Google Home device.

This is something that you previously you were also able to do on the Google

Home, but when I tested it, now it seems that Google is just disabled this feature

entirely on both the Google Home and the Google Home Mini. Now with the stumbles

out of the gate aside with the Google Home Mini, I still think this is a really

great product. A lot of people are going to be getting these things during the

holidays, and I think it's gonna be a really great introduction to the Google

Assistant for a lot of people. It looks great, it sounds pretty decent, and it

gives you all the functionality you get with a Google Assistant on the Google

Home. Now if you're watching this video and are completely new to the Google

Home experience, I think you're really going to enjoy getting a Google Home

Mini if you're thinking about it. Now if you're curious at all about what the

Google Assistant can do to improve your life, definitely check out my original

Google Home 6 Months Later Review, I'll make sure to link it to this video, I go

over the core features of the Google Assistant and what you can do with it

and I also have a Google Home features update video. Now when I did the Google

Home features update video, I actually put it out right before Google announced

the Google Home Mini at the October 4th event and when they announced the mini

they also announced a ton of new Google Assistant features, so definitely be on

the lookout for those videos, and subscribe to the channel so you'll get

notified when those videos drop. Until then, thanks so much for watching.

The "Red Dragon" Hidden Spot In Space – Google, Microsoft And NASA Didn't Want Us To See This - Duration: 9:35.

The "Red Dragon" Hidden Spot In Space – Google, Microsoft And NASA Didn't Want Us To See This

Looking as creepy as hell, people are now asking, What is The 'Red Dragon' anomaly and why was Google Sky hiding it? It appears that something HUGE is trying to be covered up the Elite and something big is about to happen and NASA is trying their hardest to cover this up!.

Since this bizarre discovery has been made, people across the planet want to know what is hiding in the Virgo constellation – a question which many truth seekers and even people of religious beliefs, are now demanding answers on.

Google have been guilty of covering up things on the internet and SPYING for a good long time now, and everybody knows that they are becoming more powerful by the day.

Apart from the expected thoughts on why they would want to cover this up, people now want to know why they are hiding this particular area of space? This terrifying sight is not visible on Google Sky – and people believe it has been deliberately blacked out.

IMPOSING: The Red Dragon has been found lurking in the Virgo constellation – some people believe this is a sign that planet X, AKA Nibiru, is coming!.

It was only when people investigated the same area on other space application platforms, that they found similar black boxes hiding what lays beneath.

Shortly afterwards, Google finally released this area in Google Sky, and then this wild/creepy picture shows up.

The representation of the area can be compared with a red dragon – this is how it got its name!.

Lets not also forget that the world is supposedly going to end on the 23rd September 2017, of which this particular creepy discovery just fuels the belief that the 'end is nigh'.

Even though there is no true evidence or indicators that we are being set out for an upcoming apocalypse, many people are now suggesting that this particular discovery could in fact be Planet Nibiru, or at least a warning that it is now well and truly on it's way towards earth.

Of course after this was presented to the world, it created a mass flurry of concern from religious sectors and many people believe that the bible foresee this revelation! This strange object (S) apparently represents a chapter in the Book of Revelations! After doing some digging around, some stories were found:.

"The Woman and the Dragon 12 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.

4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.

5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who "will rule all the nations with an iron scepter."[a] And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

7 Then war broke out in heaven.

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.

9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.

He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him".

Like anything, pretty much every discovery in life can be put down to any given coincidences, however the fact that NASA, Google and Microsoft 'tried' (but failed miserably) to cover this up, does make you wonder WHY!.

Remember this discovery was found and kept quiet about April time 2017, but the TRUTH is often hidden away from us before it is discovered and shared to the world!.

It has been said that the constellation shows something that could be identified as sort of a serpent-like creature.

It has been suggested that this Resembles a dragon sitting at the feet of a pregnant woman waiting to devour her child, the dragon is wrestling with another constellation which represents St Michael!.

What is THIS???.

The red flags are now well and truly out, although this in itself is not necessarily confirmation that the planet is very soon to end, but you cannot deny that fact that this planet is facing some very scary times and this in itself raised many questions.

NASA, Google and Microsoft are all keeping very quiet about this discovery – perhaps they are either too scared to confirm the truth about what is going on or they don't  actually know what this is!?.

One YouTube user wrote:.

"I don't think you realise the magnitude of this discovery, this is huge.

That means the rapture could literally happen at any time now." Another added: "This is why the Vatican has invested in a telescope on top of Mt.

Gram observatory in Arizona with infrared capabilities.

"So they can watch and observe this thing.".

Many people believe that top programmers went to great lengths to obscure the constellation!? Could it be that this bizarre image from deep space is in fact some sort of ET crafts, lying out there waiting – watch this SPACE!.

First and foremost the world is NOT going to end on the 23rd September and that is a fact! Yes this is an incredible discovery and it is important we found out most importantly WHY the elite didn't want us to see this creepy 'red dragon' in space.

The chances are the elite do not even know themselves what this is, hence their demands on NASA and Google to keep quiet and hide away this mystery of space!.

The elite (which includes NASA, Google, Microsoft and all the others) need to stop playing games as they are the ones to blame for the state of this planet, what with their war mongering and manipulative ways! Perhaps in an ideal world we need there to be some kind of apocalyptic event to happen, so that this poor planet can breathe again!.

This find is huge and the fact that the elite don't want us to know about it makes it even more of a mystery! I guess the big question is, has this huge object moved in space and is it any closer to planet earth?.

With two eyes like some kind of crazed creature and a mouth full of grinning like teeth, what is this!? The teeth part, what could that possibly be, they almost appear some kind of stupidly tall buildings under the bright eye-looking eyes – this goes beyond the edge of madness!.

Google Pixel 2 XL vs Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Camera Comparison - Duration: 7:08.

Hi guys, it's MTG here, and today I'm going to be comparing the cameras found on the brand

new Google Pixel 2 XL and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Both have great cameras, but I wanted to see how they compared head-to-head.

I'll be looking at the pictures shot in different lighting conditions, and I'll also be looking

at the video quality of both phones.

When I was shooting, I set everything to automatic.

Let's get right into it.

Both Google and Samsung have put great sensors on their phones.

The front camera on the Note 8 is 8 Megapixels.

It has an f/1.7 aperture, and can shoot video at up to 1440p @30 fps.

On the back, we'll find its dual camera system.

Both cameras are 12 Megapixels.

The wide-angle and telephoto cameras have apertures of f/1.7 and f/2.4 respectively.

The telephoto lens allows for 2x optical zoom and depth effect pictures.

The Note 8 can shoot 4k video at up to 30 fps, 1080p at up to 60 fps, and 720p at up

to 240 fps.

Also, both cameras have optical image stabilization.

The front camera on the Pixel 2 XL is 8 Megapixels.

It has an aperture of f/2.4, and can record video at up to 1080p @ 30 fps.

On the back, we can see that Google has only put one camera on its new flagship.

This camera is 12.2 Megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8.

The camera has both Electronic and Optical Image stabilization and can shoot 4k video

at up to 30fps, 1080p at up to 120 fps, and 720p at up to 240 fps.

Since there isn't a second camera, there is no optical zoom, but through AI, machine learning,

and dual pixel phase detection, Google's new flagship can take high quality depth-effect

pictures on both the front and back cameras.

When looking at still images, both cameras seem be able to pick up around the same level

of detail.

In shots where the sky was in frame, the Note 8 did a better job of maintaining the blues.

The Pixel's shots appeared to slightly washout the sky.

Also, in some of these instances, the Note 8 could get better perspectives on shots due

to its 2x optical zoom functionality.

It can get closer to the subject without degradation of quality.

To get closer to the subject on the Pixel 2 XL, you'll have to digitally zoom, which

does not maintain the image quality.

However, in good lighting conditions, the digital zoom does okay.

There were some shots where the Pixel 2 XL just took the better photo.

But there were other times where the Pixel 2's image temperature was so cool that the

colors looked unnatural to the points where whites started to look like blues.

The dual lens on the Note 8 allows you to take some pretty good depth-effect photos

where the background is blurred.

The images shot look nice.

But as soon as you see what the Pixel 2 XL was able to produce with just a single lens,

the Note 8's image looks almost bad in comparison.

This portrait mode picture shot in poorer lighting conditions shows how good Google's

image processing is.

I should also note that all of the Pixel 2 XL portrait pictures got this high quality

on the first try.

On the Note 8, the results were so drastically different that we tried multiple times to

get the best possible focus, and the best pictures we got in Live Focus mode were shown

in this video.

Both phones have high quality front facing cameras that take detailed photos in good

lighting and bad lighting.

However, the Pixel 2 XL also allows you to use its portrait mode on the front camera,

resulting in some really high quality selfies.

In low light, sometimes the larger aperture on the Note 8 led to images with more accurate

color representations, while in other instances, the image processing of the Google Pixel 2

XL led to better pictures from that camera.

In this shot, the Note 8 was able to portray the colors more accurately.

The Pixel 2 XL seemed to brighten the image too much.

When the sky was involved, sometimes the Note 8 captured the dark blue of the sky better,

but other times, the Pixel 2 XL was able to capture the gradient of the sky better.

All in all, when the lighting conditions got worse, both cameras still performed very nicely.

You shouldn't have to worry about having perfect lighting with either of these phones.

For a lot of people, the best video cameras they own are in their pockets, so in this

video I wanted to show how the video cameras compared on the two devices as well.

Colors look more natural on the Note 8's video, and both cameras are able to pick up a tremendous

amount of detail.

But the Pixel 2 XL's video stabilization is so much better than the Note 8's.

The shakiness of the Note 8's image distracts you from the image quality, while the electronic

and optical image stabilization on the Pixel 2 XL makes the video look like it was shot

on a professional gimbal.

Now I'm testing the front cameras on both phones along with the image stabilization.

I'm walking and it's kind of windy outside.

There's a lot of noise so I'm curious of how that picks up.

Now I'm testing the front cameras on both phones along with the image stabilization.

I'm walking and it's kind of windy outside.

There's a lot of noise so I'm curious of how that picks up.

These are some high quality cameras.

With both of them you'll be taking pictures that people will be shocked came from a smartphone

camera.

The Note 8 had its advantages in some shots, and the Google Pixel 2 XL had its advantages

in other shots.

The Note 8 has a second lens that can utilize 2x optical zoom.

On the other hand, the Pixel 2 XL has such great image processing that it can produce

some insanely high quality portrait mode images.

Also the Pixel 2 XL takes the win in video because of just how phenomenal its image stabilization

is.

The Pixel 2 XL's videos are so much smoother than the Note 8's that it doesn't seem like

I was using the same rig to shoot them.

Don't get me wrong, the Note 8 is my daily driver, but the Google Pixel 2 XL has a terrific

camera.

I'll be sure to compare this camera to the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X when that comes

out.

Let me know in the comment section which aspects of each camera you like.

Inside Google's DeepMind Project: How AI Is Learning on Its Own | Max Tegmark - Duration: 4:09.

I define intelligence simply as how good something is at accomplishing complex goals.

Human intelligence today is very different from machine intelligence today in multiple

ways.

First of all, machine intelligence in the past used to be just an always inferior to

human intelligence.

Gradually machine intelligence got better than human intelligence in certain very, very

narrow areas, like multiplying numbers fast like pocket calculators or remembering large

amounts of data really fast.

What we're seeing now is that machine intelligence is spreading out a little bit from those narrow

peaks and getting a bit broader.

We still have nothing that is as broad as human intelligence, where a human child can

learn to get pretty good at almost any goal, but you have systems now, for example, that

can learn to play a whole swath of different kinds of computer games or to learn to drive

a car in pretty varied environments.

And uh...

Where things are obviously going in AI is increased breadth, and the Holy Grail of AI

research is to build a machine that is as broad as human intelligence, it can get good

at anything.

And once that's happened it's very likely it's not only going to be as broad as humans

but also better than humans at all the tasks, as opposed to just some right now.

I have to confess that I'm quite the computer nerd myself.

I wrote some computer games back in high school and college, and more recently I've been

doing a lot of deep learning research with my lab at MIT.

So something that really blew me away like "whoa" was when I first saw this Google

DeepMind system that learned to play computer games from scratch.

You had this artificial simulated neural network, it didn't know what a computer game was,

it didn't know what a computer was, it didn't know what a screen was, you just fed in numbers

that represented the different colors on the screen and told it that it could output different

numbers corresponding to different key strokes, which also it didn't know anything about,

and then just kept feeding it the score, and all the software knew was to try to do randomly

do stuff that would maximize that score.

I remember watching this on the screen once when Demis Hassabis, the CEO of Google DeepMind

showed it, and seeing first how this thing really played total BS strategy and lost all

the time.

It gradually got better and better, and then it got better than I was, and then after a

while it figured out this crazy strategy in Breakout (where you're supposed to bounce

a ball off of a brick wall) where it would keep aiming for the upper left corner until

it punched a hole through there and got the ball bouncing around in the back and just

racked up crazy many points.

And I was like, "Whoa, that's intelligent!"

And the guys who programmed this didn't even know about that strategy because they

hadn't played that game very much.

This is a simple example of how machine intelligence can surpass the intelligence of its creator,

much in the same way as a human child can end up becoming more intelligent than its

parents if educated well.

This is just tiny little computers, the sort of hardware you can have on your desktop.

If you now imagine scaling up to the biggest computer facilities we have in the world and

you give us a couple of more decades of algorithm development, I think is very plausible that

we can make machines that cannot just learn to play computer games better than us, but

can view life as a game and to do everything better than us.

Ten Steps for Working in Google Drive - Duration: 7:40.

Hi! My name is Adele and I want to talk to you today about the best way to

collaborate with your students. Now, really the best way is through Google

Classroom but since we don't all have access to Google Classroom I'm going to

show you another way to do it; a way that anybody who has a gmail account, a Google

account, can do it. Today I'm going to show you 10 steps for working

efficiently with Google Drive, so let's get started!

Step one: be sure that you're signed in to your Google account. (It's the same sign in as it is for

your Gmail) Here I am in my browser and that's step one. Step two I'm going to

go to the app: up here there's the nine dots in the square, I click on them and that takes me to my

Drive and if I'm not signed in there it's going to ask me to sign in again.

I sign in...

Step 3: Welcome home! This is your Drive! Your home away from home! I can

access this drive on any computer, I can access it on my smartphone - I just go in

and signed in with my username and all of my work is wherever I am.

I have a bit of a mess here - once you're starting to use Drive it's really

a good idea to start being organized right from the beginning so for Step 4

I'm going to show you how to make a new folder. You go to "New",

you go to "Folder" and I want to make a folder for my pictures that I'm using for this

project which are GIFs or JPEGs, so here I've made a folder I have a new folder

that's called Pictures. I'm going to organize, so I have a

picture here that I want to move .... you just drag it in and sometimes if it's a

little more obstinate you can right click>Move To - and that'll do the trick as well.

So I say "Move to pictures", "Move" and that's another way to do it... and here's

another picture that I want to move ... I want to get this out of here and this

is connected to "Teacher Log", so I'll just drag it in there and since it's being

stubborn I'll do "Move To" its another picture

I don't know why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't ...oh! there it is!

Sometimes you just need some patience... so saving a new file in the folder so I'm

going to make a new Google Doc I can give it a title and then write what I want to write.....

I can either move it to the folder I want to move it to in my Drive... say I

want to move it to "Teachers Logs"

or, as I did before, here's my new document ...I can just take it and drag it

same way I showed you before so those were Steps six and seven. Now what happens

when somebody shares a file with you? You're going to be working with students

they're going to be working in their Drives and they're going to share files with you.

You'll be getting an email from them that says that they've shared a file

with you but you can also find it in your Drive because it goes directly into

your Drive in "Shared with me", so here I have this picture that was shared with

me and I'm going to "Right click" on it and...again... first of all I have to add it to

my Drive because this is in the "Shared with me" sectoon - it's not really in my Drive yet so

I'm going to click "Add to my Drive" and THEN I can click on "Organize" and move it to

exactly where I want it to go. I want this to go to "Pictures" and this file

that was shared with me by someone else has now not only become a part of my

Drive but it's also in my "Pictures". Step nine you make something and you want to

share it with somebody else so it works with a doc... let's say I'm gooing to make

another new doc but it's the same for any kind of file if it's a Google

picture or a doc they're all the same

and I want to share this with myself with another account. Of course with Google

you don't have to click "Save", it's saved automatically ...there it is in my pictures

(It's in my pictures because that's where I was when I made it, but it doesn't

matter a whole lot) I right-click on this in order to share and I click on the

Share button I'm going to to share with myself, and I can either give the person

editing rights , give them rights to only comment, or give them access only by

viewing, but I'm going to talk about that in another tutorial.

So now Adele, my alter ego, is getting a notification in her / my email and it's

going right into my Drive, and I'll be able to go and pick it up and organize

it however I want, The same thing when you want to share a folder. I want to

share this "Pictures" folder with Adele. I will be sharing everything that's in

that folder with Adele. So that's how you're going to share stuff with your

students as well... if you have a folder with a whole bunch of files you share it

with them using share folder and it goes into their Drives and then you should

teach them to keep everything neat and organized. So that has been Ten steps for

how to use your Google Drive collaboratively, how to collaborate with

your co-workers, with your teammates, with your students ...with anybody you want!

I hope that was helpful! don't forget to subscribe!

Digitally yours! @dele ....Bye!
