[WELCOME TO SMART SUNDAY #8]

Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you tonight for

Smart Sunday number eight. the sessions already on the smart Sunday so yes happy

Thanksgiving to Canadians it is turkey day in Canada and it's not

turkey day in the United States for another month or so not until the end of

November so turkey day comes just before Black Friday in the United States of

America the Friday after Thanksgiving in the u.s. is the largest shopping day

during the whole year so black oh yes turkey baby absolutely turkey so that's

why we're having the live stream today and try and get in the center of the

screen here here we go on Monday rather on than Sunday because I was a long

weekend here in Canada and then I'll be along again in the United States so

questions so first question is where are people from and what kind of car are you

learning to drive on or what kind of vehicle are you learning to drive on I

guess the second question is can everybody hear me all right is the audio

working I was sort of messing around a little bit with the audio trying to get

it to work because I noticed last week as Corey said there was a bit of a buzz

from it so McKay a road test tomorrow and I'm nervous I haven't practiced

going 20 miles an hour and coming to a complete stop what maneuver is at Fort

McKay K that you're working on in terms of coming to a stop at 20 miles an hour

alex is from Houston Alex what kind of vehicle are you driving down there in

Houston preparing for your road test el Flaco's is great audio awesome I'm glad

that maybe I finally managed to get the hum out of the audio here Saif is from

Toronto hi Saif and the KK from Florida and I'm learning to drive on a 2009

dodge journey the journey McKay K is that a that's an SUV isn't it that's

new Dodge SUV that they've got it's a sort of a midsize Terry CDL air brakes

from New York so you're doing your air brakes in New York are you Terry your

CDL there Chris Christ Christ is from Oklahoma City Oklahoma great state of

Oklahoma in the Midwest let me just clarify that before I say that Oklahoma

is in the Midwest is is Oklahoma considered Midwest or is it considered

central south-central from Chicago Samson's from Chicago CDL

Class A that's great thank you so much for that Anna from Calgary testing a few

weeks hope it doesn't snow well Anna I'm doing a video right now about driving in

the fall in the mountains and I just drove to Vancouver Island from Vernon

where I live which is a five hour run it's a five hour driving time and it

goes through the mountains and there was snow and unfortunately there were a few

people who had not yet shifted into winter even though we have a fairly

significant commercial our advertising marketing campaign right now for

shifting into winter because as of the 1st of October in British Columbia and

other provinces and other northern states I suspect you required to have

snow tires on your vehicle as of the 1st of October to drive on certain highway

roads are on certain highways and mountain passes here in British Columbia

and yes there was ice on the top of the mountain because I left early Saturday

morning about 6:00 a.m. so at the time I got up it was 8 o'clock it was so there

was there was ice up there and there's a couple of rollovers so do be careful if

you're driving at higher elevations or in the northern states and whatnot and

Sam is here and we had a discussion last week about Sam's last name Jericho area

yo and I am NOT saying that right am i Sam so Jericho arrow yo I think I'm

getting that right now is from rookie auto driving school in the Bronx and Sam

is really good they have a Instagram is an Instagram Sam I think

it's Instagram that's attached to Facebook really lots of questions and

information on there so have a look at that yeah Cory's laughing yeah I didn't

quite get it my apologies alex is taking his road test tomorrow

any concerns for your road test tomorrow alex has a road test on Thursday tips

yes Wheeling Illinois excellent now I know that Illinois Wheeling Illinois is

definitely the Midwest I know that for sure I wasn't sure about Oklahoma but I

know that Wheeling is definitely the Midwest so chunky I'm from the UUs new

to the US and right-hand driving yes excellent I had some experience with

that John Key about driving on the other side of the road because I lived in

Australia and there is a video here so you're currently in Atlanta Georgia so

definitely have it that video looking at the other side of driving on the other

side of the road and that will give some tips on that so okay so questions tips

on passing your road test so all road tests have four basic components speed

management space management observation communications so speed management flow

of the traffic posted speed limit capability of the vehicle if you're

driving a larger vehicle and you're going uphill it's not going to do the

posted speed limit so whatever the beautiful will do whichever one of those

is less so posted speed limit flow of traffic capability of the vehicle those

are the speeds that you have to drive space management don't get near any

fixed objects and don't get near other road users

okay pedestrians cyclists scooters motorcycles those types of things okay

observation and communication you have to observe so you have to have a

scanning puck and pattern in place that includes your mirrors and shoulder

checking so every turn or lane change you have to shoulder check two times and

then communicate you have to communicate with other road users okay

communications signals lights appropriate hand gestures don't tell

other drivers that they're number one on a road test you will not be successful

okay and the position of your vehicle on the roadway tell and communicate to

other road users what you're doing okay so that that's the basic fundamentals of

any road test anywhere in the world where you are the other thing about road

tests here in Canada they tend to be a bit longer they tend to be 20 to 40

minutes in Canada Sam and other driving instructors we've had this discussion be

previously that on the eastern seaboard of the United States they tend to be

short like eight to 12 minutes so know that okay so you can sort of be anywhere

between that all right Matthew is from Pennsylvania I'm going to take my road

test on the 28th and you're taking it in a Toyota Corolla that's a good that's a

good vehicle for a road test lots of driving schools use those Mackay K ah

royo Arroyo there we go see you helped me out yeah now I can say it Arroyo

there we go maneuver and coming to a fast stop and not to screech the tires

or brakes will stop and when the instructor says stop okay so McKay K I

think what we call that up here we call that emergency stop if the examiner says

too huge like bring the vehicle to a stop so what you want to do is you want

to brake it's called threshold braking when you apply the brakes really hard

but you don't lock up the tires because if you start to feel it screech you

start to feel it move a little bit and you probably want to practice this a

little bit before you actually do your road test practice this and just release

the brakes if they're starting to lock up and then just before the vehicle

comes to a complete stop and have a look at the video here on how to bring a

vehicle to a complete stop on the channel and that will show you how to

have control because you want to release the brakes let the body settle back over

the chassis and then reapply the brakes and bring the vehicle to a complete stop

okay ash Murr are you talking about a dry how to become a driving instructor

or become a driving examiner one that works at the DMV or one of the other

licensing authorities that tests people to get licenses which one of those

excellent Sam said I finally got it okay Jocelyn you're having some trouble with

nerves and anxiety that is not uncommon okay it's really challenging to

take your road test so know that and if you haven't already have a look Jocelin

at the video on fear and anxiety and how to try and reduce that okay a driving

examiner at the DMV usually that's just a matter of getting on board with the

DMV now I don't know about in the United States so much but I do know up here

that a lot of like the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario the ICBC

the people who get become driving examiner's up here they have to sort of

get on board the driving licensing authority has training for that and then

they sort of work up into that position and I think they'll probably be similar

to to the DMV in the United States sorry I just had a tip there okay so that's

probably how you get on board as being a driving examiner at the DMV

I mean Sam might also have some tips about how to become a driving examiner

with the DMV in the United States Gavin don't get nervous well unfortunately we

all get nervous so you just got to remember to breathe okay faith wanted

some tips on parallel parking okay so one of the first things you need to do

faith faith is you need to determine if the space that you're going to parallel

park into is a legal space if it's legal and you're not parking next to a fire

hydrant those types of things have a look at that so determine that the space

is legal then make sure that the space that you're going to parking is at least

a vehicle and a half okay and know that most of the time as it says in the video

here on the channel they're not going to make you park between two vehicles by

most driving centers for the purposes of parallel parking what they're gonna make

you do is you're either gonna make you do it in a closed circuit area with

pylons or they're gonna take you out and they're gonna find some place to park

where you just park off one vehicle there's not going to be another vehicle

behind you that you're gonna have to look out for so when you pull out just

three feet from the vehicle that's already parked there

do a 360 degree scan put the vehicle into reverse immediately because you

want you verse lights to come on you put your

left your right signal on rather sorry and so your right single on telling

people if you're gonna parallel park your reverse lights are on 360 degree

scan and then move back all the way to the right with the steering wheel back

up until you're facing a 45 degree marker that you picked out before you

started backing up back in until you're half to a third down the hood straight

in the wheels out are sorry when you're facing your 45 marker then straight your

wheels out back up third to half down the hood and then crank all the way to

the left and come in and you should be parked at that point you might have to

adjust a little bit by moving forward but that's kind of in a nutshell what

the video here about parallel parking will tell you in terms of that and then

after that in terms of parallel parking it's just a lot of practice space for

parallel parking okay okay Richard I moved from the UK with nine years

experience class one to Alberta got my class five and advice for class one here

thanks well Richard you're in the right place

for getting a class one because Alberta my understanding is it takes a it's a

little bit easier to get your class one but it's just about going to a driving

school talking your driving schools seeing what you have to do in terms of

getting your class one but most class one driving courses entail five basic

components for getting a class one license the first one is turning so you

have to be able to get a larger vehicle with the trailer around corners in most

of the time in urban areas you have to be able to do a pre-trip inspection

that's going to take you approximately 45 minutes it's a thorough pre-trip

inspection of the vehicle and comprehensive you have to be able to

shift the non sick remission in Alberta because you're going to be driving in

the mountains if you get a job in Alberta then the two minor components of

a class 1 tractor-trailer program are backing up depending on where you go for

your license that can vary a little bit it can be straight line backing or it

can be parallel parking or just backing around the corner it depends where

you're going for your license and then the last one is hooking on how coupling

on coupled the trader so obviously you want

couple of first and then hook back up to it so those are the five basic

components and those can take you anywhere from sort of thirty to fifty

hours depending on how much money you have to spend or whether it's or whether

you're gonna get funding or those types of things so that's a class one program

that you're gonna be looking at in alberta there Angelique Angelique

do I need to take my 50 hour sheep when I take my test

angeleka where are you taking your test that you have logged the hours that you

have done for practicing the kk when you're backing out are you talking about

backing out of the parking space with KK is that what you're talking about just

answer that question for you ash tumour how do you get a motorcycle license or

endorsement okay getting a motorcycle license ash mer is similar to any other

class of license essentially you got to go get learner's permit so you have to

write a test a knowledge test and then they give you a learner's depending on

where you are the parameters for being able to drive a motorcycle on your own

or working with a mentor are going to vary a little bit depending on their

graduated licensing program if in fact they have one and then you have to take

a road test and you're probably if you're in a graduated licensing program

because most motorcycles do have I graduated licensing program you're going

to have to be in that graduated licensing program for a period of time

then you're going to take another test to get your whole motorcycle license so

that's how you do it okay McKay K yes out of parking space

now what I say McKay K for the purposes of your road test back into the space

before you go in and check in and start your road test because it's just too

hard okay now yes when you back out of the space

or back into the space you have to put your if you're on the right side of the

road you put your left hand on the top of the steering wheel and then put your

right hand behind the passenger seat and look out the back window for reversing

any vehicle okay so that's what you have to do in order to back up and the other

thing I recommend when you're backing into a parking space is to always

backing beside another vehicle because it's a lot easier to backing beside

another vehicle because you have a reference point as opposed to trying to

get between the lines there okay

Francois okay Francois no not every time you check you

don't have to check the oil and gas because there is a fuel gauge in the

vehicle if you're not familiar with the vehicle then I would go under the hood

and check the oil just to make sure that it's okay and whatnot the fuel gauge

will tell you it's a fuel if it's a new vehicle again you want to make sure that

you have fuel in it because it's embarrassing when you run out of fuel so

yeah but I you generally should check the oil every couple of weeks it's a if

it's a vehicle that you're driving all the time

okay ah Cory maybe it's all expunged but and I'm not entirely sure what the

handbook means when they say in order to save gas combined many smaller trips

into one yes so what they're talking about Cory is instead of you know I

gotta run out to the convenience store and get a jug of milk and then I come

home and then you need a pack of smokes so you go out to the convenience store

and get another pack of smokes and then you need you know some shoelaces so then

you go to the Walmart again so instead of doing each one of those trips

individually to pick up one of those items what they're saying there is that

you could just go to this local strip mall where the Walmart is and get your

shoelaces and then you could pop over to the liquor store and get a box of beer

and then you could get your what else did I say you you jug a milk if while

you're at Walmart so instead of doing it in three or four or five trips and then

back home and back out and back home just do it in one thing and then stop at

each one of those places pick up the stuff and do a round trip and come back

so essentially what they're talking about there is just a little bit more

planning in terms of what you need to do and those types of things and I mean the

other thing about saving fuel too is it's about choices I mean where do you

live in the city is there a possibility that you can walk and you take public

transit can you send somebody else to do and those types of things so that's

essentially what they're talking about is take a bunch of smaller trips and

combine them into one and that way you're going to save time

and and money and fuel in those days things faith how do you drive up hills

any tips what kinda Hills are you talking about faith are you talking

about highway Hills and those types of things are you talking about off-road

4x4 theme okay McKay Kay yes you know for backing up you don't have to have

both hands on the steering wheel McKay Kay just one because the other one has

to be on the back of the other seat to steady yourself while you're looking out

the back window so reversing is the one time that you can actually palm the

steering wheel and manipulate the steering wheel with one hand you don't

have to keep both hands on the steering wheel for the purposes of reversing now

I have a video Helen here and I'm just gonna say this

again and just remind you in the video I was adamant about the fact that you can

take your seatbelt off and in most jurisdictions according to the

legislation yes in fact you can take your seatbelt off for the purposes of

reversing however on their honor road test and I think Sam will agree with me

on this do not take your seatbelt haha because driving examiner's are not

very familiar with legislation and if you do that they'll just go oh my god

what is that person doing you're scaring me and the other thing is that because

you're on a road test oftentimes what happens is that you're nervous and you

forget to put it back on as soon as you put the vehicle in a forward gear so

don't take your seatbelt off keep your seatbelt on for the entire test all

right I'm Amira is it easier to start learning to drive a van or other smaller

cars the smaller it is yes the easier it's going to be learned how to drive

because the turning radius is better it's easier to get into parking lots and

those types of things okay a schmear when driving a manual transmission

vehicle to shift based on miles per hour or rpms actually ash Murr it's easier if

you watch the tachometer in my 1998 Honda CRV that has a 2-liter

four-cylinder engine in it I usually shift around 2500 between 2000 and 3000

rpms when I'm shifting it so I just know that all the time that that's where I

shift it if you've got a small diesel engine if you got a small diesel engine

it's going to be a thousand to fifteen depending on the engine and those types

of things but it's easier to learn how to shift on rpms yes

Sam just said what I was saying about seat belts even though the legislation

says that you can for the purposes of a road test do not take your seat belt off

okay I have retracted that so yes keep your seat belt on for the purposes of a

road test okay what things should be taken into consideration when someone is

trying to find an instructor or school for future road tests

excellent question excellent question okay go to the driving school does it

look professional are they going to answer your questions

are they accommodating what kinds of vehicles do they have are they late

model vehicles are they mid-sized sedans are they something like a Honda Civic a

Toyota Corolla a midsize car that is going to work well to teach you how to

drive those are the kinds of things in it the other thing that I would ask at

driving schools when you're going to look for a driving school and pay for

driving lessons as well ask if they teach senior citizens

because oftentimes instructors are teaching the senior citizens are really

good for students that may have some anxiety around driving and some anxiety

in terms of learning and those types of things okay okay so yes those are some

of the questions that you can ask drivers both the other thing that what

you want to do is if you can find former students who went to that driving school

ask them as well and then the other place to look is to go on Google and do

a search and you'll see comments from other students who have left comments

and gave a rating to the school so those are some of the ways that you can check

out schools and I know that Sam school has a really high rating on Google Auto

key driving school in the Bronx so I'll have a look there okay okay Sam says

some of the driving examiners are part timers or per-diem and are not sure

about the rules and that is absolutely right some of them have been promoted

into the position or do not do the position all the time so therefore

they're not familiar with the Highway Traffic legislation so even though you

can do something doesn't mean that you need to do it and again and here's a

great point I say to students if you're not

taking driving lessons be sure to take a mock road test with the driving

instructor 7 to 10 days before the road test now here's the other point I was

talking to my friend Peter last week who has a BC driving school here in Vernon

and he said three to four weeks before your road test called the driving school

and booked either driving lessons or booked a mock road test because he's

booked up three or four weeks prior to getting lessons so unless you call three

to four weeks before you're not gonna get a lesson with him because he's so

busy ok so just know that as well Sam how long do students how much lead time

the students need to book lessons with your school ok if you're taking a right

turn from a right turn lane that has no traffic lights merging into another road

do you have to stop if there is a crossing for people that there are no

people crossing Knab Knab no you don't have to if there's nobody in the

crosswalk you don't have to stop but make sure you scan well on to the

sidewalk on both sides of that crossing to ensure that there aren't any

pedestrians anywhere near the cross walkers you don't want to get caught out

right because that's considered a dangerous action if you proceed across

the crosswalk and there are pedestrians there because you do have to give the

pedestrians the right away all right a Shamir can you stay in first gear

going 30 miles an hour no no 30 is pretty high

basically first gear in any car any sort of mid-sized car is just to overcome you

know inertia just to get the vehicle going and if you watch my videos here on

shifting a manual transmission I shift from first to second almost immediately

like the cars probably not even going ten kilometers an hour or eight miles an

hour before I shift into second gear okay so know that

angeleka is there a certain number of time you have to look at side mirrors

when you're doing backing around corners yes you should be glancing in the side

mirror periodically but for the most part angeleka you should be

looking out the back window but you do just want to kind of glance over there

and make sure that there isn't anything over there or the driving environment

around you has changed whatnot so I know that okay

Munira thank you for the compliment I understand right of way I have

tremendous difficulty with the right of way at various kinds of intersections

okay Munira there is a video here where I go through a bunch of intersections

about different rights-of-ways okay now just remember that okay Munira there is

a video here it might be down in the description there otherwise Korey will

have a look for it for you and he'll tell you what it is

it's right-of-way at different intersections now just remember the key

piece of information about right-of-way is the right-of-way is never taken the

right-of-way is always given so if you're in the least bit of doubt give

the right-of-way to other traffic other road users let them go and then proceed

okay it's what we tell you again and again on a road test for the purposes of

a road test if you are the least bit sure or the traffic is just to a point

where you cannot deal with it simply stop wait for the traffic to clear and

then go you can do that on a road test you might lose a couple of demerit

points but you're not gonna fail if you plow through a traffic situation and

it's not quite clear you could potentially fail and there's another

video here that I'll put up as well about stop okay just stop if you're

unsure of the traffic situation just stop and let it clear alright okay Cory

has another question okay and just just before I continue here if you've asked

me a question I didn't get to it I didn't see it because the as you can see

the comments are kind of scrolling through here just to ask me the question

again and I'll be sure to answer it for you okay

as a company truck driver would deciding this be all up to you yes it would curry

all of that is up to you in terms of driving but I can tell you on one hand

how many times I ever pulled over for whether I just kept going so yeah it is

up to the driver if you are unsure as a truck driver or a bus driver or some

other commercial driver and the weather is bad just pull over it it isn't worth

your life to keep going and the other the other thing is is that you could

talk to dispatch you could bring your dispatcher and say listen it's bad I'm

going to pull over and they will be able to give you some counsel on that so

you're not out there by yourself okay Angelique I'm taking my test on Saturday

in Chicago but I'm not sure if I need my 50 hours sheet okay angeleka you do have

your 50 hour sheet if you have your 50 hour sheet just bring it with you that

way you're not going to get caught out if they say oh you need your 50 hours

sheet that way you'll just have it with you and it'll be fine okay as well I

need to fix that on the website but there is a checklist for test date and

make sure that you bring two pieces of ID if you wear prescription glasses and

those type of things you need to do those and make sure that you do a

pre-trip on your vehicle if you're taking your own personal vehicle if

you're going with the driving school ask them if they did a pre trip on the

vehicle before you show up for your road test cuz you don't want you know like a

brake light or something like that and then you can't take your test okay so

those are just some things you are most welcome faith it's always good that I

can help people out to pass the road test during the week and we can answer

questions and whatnot so all right ash America's school buses stopped at an

intersection with stop sign on its side loading children on the left can the car

make a right turn if though if the lights are flashing on the school bus

saw on the school bus and the stop sign arm is extended that no you cannot make

a right-hand turn until that vehicle proceeds so I know that with school

buses that if the lights are flashing the stop sign arm is extended then you

can't until the light stopped flashing okay otherwise if the lights aren't

flashing and their vehicles pulled over a lot of

passengers from the sidewalk then you can pass only if the lights are flashing

can you not pass um is it safe to turn left on a green after you yield as long

as you have a big enough gap then yes you can turn okay Knab Knab when you're

exiting a highway in the ramp exiting the highways is 40 but it's in yellow so

it's a cautionary sign you have to follow the speed of the sign even though

yellow is just a caution no you don't if you don't look if you know the curve and

you've been on it before then you can do a speed that you're comfortable with but

if you haven't been on it before and it says 40 miles an hour

I would slow down to 40 miles an hour so just know that okay all right so we've

got a little slow down here okay Francois when I drive on the

highway road I see the other car going up to 55 miles an hour what is the exact

limit I can go in the highway that risk could be pulled over by police Francois

I would say that your tolerance at 55 miles an hour is probably another 5

miles an hour so you could probably do 60 and the police will not pull you over

okay I know here in Canada we're on the we're on the metric system so it's

kilometres per hour you can do 10 kilometres an hour over and the police

will lead you along that's fine as long as you're not ripping past the traffic

flow if you're going much faster than the flow of traffic then you're probably

gonna get pulled over but the tolerance for miles per hour is probably 5 miles

per hour you're probably going to be fine

okay all right and since we have a break here what we're gonna do is I'm gonna go

over to the what smart drive test website and we'll see who pass road

tests this week we've had quite a number of successful people there's a couple of

people that I haven't got up yet I need to update that I was away for the

weekend so here we go

that is not coming up for some reason

they're real

okay here we go Mohammed Rachel username that is not

legible here Clinton nany Lesley velvet all these

smart drivers pass the road test this last week and we're successful Morgan

silly goose great username Jennifer and as I said there's a few more that I

haven't put up here but if you just go over to the smart drive test website and

you click on the logo that'll take you to the home page as you can see here and

it goes back to the home page here and if you go down to the bottom on the

right here it says you can't see that over there there we go and you go over

to the right it says here latest articles and you just click on this

first entry here it will take you to the successful smart drivers who have passed

the road test

just get back here transition

yeah

alright let's see who else Hecht or I'm getting my license at 17 and driver's ed

isn't required you still recommend it or any other educational driving program so

Hector what I would suggest in terms of driver education is to do some driving

on your own practice in low density traffic areas in parking lots and those

types of things and have a look down in the description therefore fundamentals

of driving and work with the 36 inch tall 1 meter tall pylons in the parking

lot get used to the primary controls which are the steering wheel the

throttle accelerator and the brake ok because you're probably going to be

driving an automatic transmission if you can get comfortable with those and how

the vehicle handles how it breaks how it steers and those types of things and

then do some more and then I would suggest that you do maybe 2 or 3 driving

lessons with a driving examiner if you choose not to do driving education at

least do a mock road test before you go for your road test that way you're going

to be the driving instructor is going to be identify any weaknesses that you have

that need to be sort of beefed up before you go for your road test and that what

you're going to be successful so just know that in terms of driver education

ok I'm just trying to get there we go okay there's the comments back all right

a shimmer when merging on a highway with a short entrance lane you don't have the

room to merge what should you do ok so a shimmer this question is

frequently asked question again and again and again in terms of acceleration

lengths on ramps and acceleration lanes and getting onto a highway it's one of

those things that you really got to get your vehicle going you got to put your

foot into it it's one of those times you can just mash that fuel pedal down and

get it up to speed and you have to match that flow the speed of the flow of

traffic on the highway and you have to pick a spot and the other key to this is

to signal early because the earlier you can signal the better chance other

vehicles have of creating a gap for you and helping you by either moving over or

creating a gap for you they can do that then you can get out

onto the thing but if it's a short acceleration lane you really got a mash

on it and get your beautiful going so that's what I suggest and please don't

slow down in the acceleration unless it's absolutely imperative because it's

an unpredictable action and other vehicles behind you we're not expecting

you to do that and you could potentially get rear-ended

so don't slow down on the acceleration lane and I know I've had a few people

say yeah I can do that no no you can't do that and I really recommend you don't

ok Sam I sent some times asked my students do you know why some of my

students fail the road test the answer is because they didn't listen to me that

is very true Sam that is very true because what we do is driving

instructors we teach people how to pass road tests we teach people how to pass a

road test every day and you know exactly and you know it's some of the questions

on the smart drive test Channel here they tell me that they're having

difficulty with turning or they're having difficulty braking or they're

having difficulty with speed control they can't manage the speed of the

vehicle and the reason that you can't do any of those things is because you

didn't spend the time at the beginning of your learning how to drive getting

used to the primary controls and mastering the primary controls and you

really need to do slow speed maneuvers and you need to go to the parking lot

with those 36 inch tall one meter tall pylons and you need to work for those

and you need to work with those for several hours to get comfortable with

the vehicle and get comfortable with the vehicle in space in place and understand

the blind areas around your vehicle where your vehicle is in space in place

because there's a lot of area around your vehicle that you can't see so you

need to you need to understand that ah

litchi a lychee thank you for that for helping me out there ah Providence Rhode

Island you wanna hear funny story about Rhode Island in the early 1990s they

switched from 48 foot trailers to 53 foot trailers for semi trailers and this

Texan was telling this funny story in a truck stop one day and he was in

Providence Rhode Island and with this 53-foot trailer just as they rolled them

out they were and anyway got pulled over by the d-o-t

in in Rhode Island on Rhode Island and the devotees officer system is you can't

have that trailer in here in Texas is what do you mean it can't have the

trailer he says well that's too long he says it's not legal in this state the

Texas looks down at the deed the deal teeth the Texas truck driver looks down

in the d-o-t offices well I'm not really in the state he says the back end of the

trailer sticking out in that other state and the front ends in the other state

next to it so he says I'm not completely in the state so there you go there's a

story about Rhode Island tips for changing lanes yes okay

a litchi you need three flashes on the signal okay so you need to put your

mirror signal shoulder check so check the center mirror make sure you're not

gonna get rear-ended if you're slowing down

check your wing mirror put your signal on and then shoulder check okay get your

signal on you need to have your signal on three times three flashes minimum

before you start moving from one lane to the other because the first signal is to

get the attention of other drivers the second signal is for them to locate you

in the third signal is for them to take some kind of action so you need at least

minimum three flashes before you start moving over and then before you actually

do start moving over shoulder check again okay and by that time the space

will be there and when you check in the mirror you should be able to see the

front of the vehicle the whole front of the vehicle in the center mirror and you

should be able to see the vehicle behind you up in the top left corner of the

wing mirror and that way you know you have enough space to move over into the

thing leave your signal on the entire time that you're changing lanes and you

have to accelerate slightly because you're going on a diagonal and to make

up for that increased distance that you're traveling you have to accelerate

a little bit in order to maintain your current speed and then keep your signal

on all the way and cancer you signal when you get into the other lane okay so

those are basic tips for changing lanes okay okay um now I have to drive left

hand can you tell me one most important thing to keep in mind always okay when

you say left hand um are you talking about a vehicle on the other side that

you're on other side of the vehicle or just right

hand left hand on top of the steering wheel okay Tanya you are most welcome

I'm really happy to hear that you passed a road test that is awesome news the

parallel parking yes the parallel parking video is quite popular and just

a month or so ago the parallel parking video got half a million views so it's

500,000 views it's passed by them in about two views now so that was really

great so thank you Tanya for that it's really

awesome I'm glad we helped Jim okay had an unsecured he had an unsuccessful

merge and had to stop fortunately there's no behind me a bit unusual merge

though it merges into the left passing fast lane Oh

curry is it one of those old the exit lane and the entrance lane are one in

the same thing it's just a you is it one of those one of those old ones

yeah Kizzy they're starting to phase those out there's still a few of them

laughs there's one up in Kamloops and actually maybe I'll do a video on one of

those because those are those are not safe with me entrance and the exit lane

are this one in the same thing okay a

shimmer is the left lane on the highway for people exceeding the speed limit

well more or less a shimmer in the trucking industry we call it the big

dollar lane because if you're out there in a big truck you're gonna get a ticket

but most of the people who are out in that left lane yes their speed their

exceeding the speed limit quite a bit so yes they're going very fast no that

other side of the vehicle okay ash merr

see now I can say um because your user names um yes I can if you move to the

other side of the vehicle and the other side of the roadway what you need to do

is be very careful when there isn't any other traffic around because as long as

there's other traffic around you're going to be fine

if there is traffic then that's when you're getting

in trouble when I was in Australia the two times I got into trouble by driving

on the wrong side of the road was when there was another traffic around so just

know that okay it's I left I need help making left-hand turns at lights is

extremely hard to see are you saying that it's hard to see when you're

looking up the road because what you might need to do is you might have to do

a little jig jog if you watch the left-hand turn videos here on the

channel what I do when I can't see because there's a vehicle across from me

that's blocking the my line of sight is oftentimes it's what I do is I move to

the left a little bit and then bring the steer tires back to straight you have to

bring the steer tires back straight because if you get rear-ended you don't

want to be driven out into oncoming traffic you want to be pushed straight

forward okay so you just move to the left and then bring your steer tires

back to straight and that's how you can see past the other vehicles okay tips on

slip lanes yes Mira look far ahead scan the slip plane scan the crosswalk

determine whether it's a yield or whether it's a stop light there might be

a stop light at some of these slip lanes you're looking for pedestrians that's

gonna be the hardest thing now most of the time when you have a slip plane

you're gonna be turning right onto a multi-lane Road so there's going to be

more than one lane so there's gonna be other traffic besides you never pull in

beside the traffic beside you like the car in the middle lane for example or

the other lane to the left always turn right behind the other vehicle so you

want to be in the spaces and have a look at turning right at complex

intersections and that will help you and explain that a bit better about how to

turn right so that you're not going to get into trouble when you're turning

right at a slip plane and as I said the most important thing is to scan for

pedestrians and make sure that there aren't any pedestrian because you have

to give way to them in the crosswalk there because most of these slip lanes

are gonna have a crosswalk okay Matthew how do you stop at stop signs in

Pennsylvania okay so stop signs are essentially all the same Matthew they

all have three stopping positions at stop signs before the stop line before

the crosswalk and if there isn't a stop line or a

crosswalk stop at the edge where the two roads meet okay and there's a video here

on stop sign stopping positions and that's the three stopping position

so students throat so before the stop line and essentially all you do is you

roll up your slowing up and just as you see the stop line go under the front of

the car from where you're sitting in the passenger's seat bring the vehicle to a

stop and you'll be a couple of feet back behind the stop line if there isn't a

stop line that stopped before the crosswalk if there isn't a crosswalk and

there's a sidewalk stop before the sidewalk we're just imagine it extending

out into the roadway and if there isn't a stop line or a sidewalk then stop

where the two roads meet so those are the three stopping positions that any

stop sign the intersection through all the same and then the last point about

stop sign the intersections if you can't see once you stop at the correct

position creep forward until you can see so after you stop completely treated as

a yield just move forward until you can see okay okay

yeah you don't have to send me that quarry y'all send me the address and all

to look at it okay hi my front bumper almost tape always scratches the ground

when I try to enter places like fast-food restaurants the incline in the

entrance is too much for my car and sometimes I can't get a good angle one

of the things you can try pape is to try and come up on an angle instead of going

straight in come up on a bit of an angle and that way what happen is that the one

wheel will go up and it'll lift the front of your car up so that you're not

bottoming out when you're coming in because some of those are pretty steep

right we've got I've got an alleyway here that it's pretty steep when I if I

go straight up but if I kind of go in on a bit of an angle it gets the one wheel

up and then I can come around and it'll bring the front end up more and let you

do that so that you're not bottoming out so that's one way that you can do that

okay a shimmer who has the right-of-way at an intersection if two cars are

making a right or a left if the two vehicle okay so what I think is what

you're talking about is the 2v across from each other and they're both

making right-handed turns or they're both making left-hand turns

both vehicles can call at the same time if they're both making the same turn in

their across from each other I don't know whether that answer your question

or not angeleka do I have to stop right before I start turning when backing

around the corner or do I have to stay a certain distance from the curve

generally angeleka what they want you to do is they want you to stay sort of 8 to

12 inches away from the curve so when you're backing around is what they want

to try and maintain Mads in there are three videos and have a look at all of

those videos on how to parallel park and I made a couple of supplementary videos

on parallel parking that will give you different reference points in key pieces

that you need to be looking for when you're parallel parking that will allow

you to parallel park into tight spaces now if your parallel parking into tight

spaces the other two things that you can do is instead of making a 45-degree

angle you can make it a sharper angle and then you can back straight in and

then bring it around but it's gonna take a bit more practice in order to packing

in but do have a look at all of the videos the three I think there's three

of them and they will give you different reference points on how to park between

two vehicles and some of the other things that you should be looking for in

terms of parallel parking okay so that'll help you with that Karthik

I passed my g2 in Toronto with practice and with confidence from watching your

videos thank you so much I appreciate the compliment and I'm really glad that

the information helped you out and helped you to be successful with your g2

so yeah that is awesome so now you have a full view of a full G licence now or

was it just the g2 license on your first license there in Ontario okay Corey I

don't know I got confused that Laney shouldn't be in some anticipated

happening and he ended up in the middle of the lane going fifty yeah yeah you

anticipated that's really great that you can do that

okay Karthik getting a vehicle so you want to buy something that secondhand

something that is relatively sound as I've said before I'm biased in terms of

Toyotas and Honda's okay those are my preferences and buying vehicles now you

want something that's sound and what I would suggest to you is if there isn't

already dead mechanical inspections would have been done on the vehicle ask

the person you're buying the vehicle from or the dealership that you can take

it to an independent mechanic and get that mechanic to do a pre-trip

inspection they'll cost you about $100 and it's probably the best hundred

dollars that you'll ever spend so because we kind of get emotionally

attached to vehicles when we see them and we like them so yes take a new

mechanic spend hundred dollars get them to do an inspection on it for you and

then purchase the vehicle the other thing you want to just look in the motor

compartment are there any odd smells any burning

smells those types of thing check the color the oil is it kind of clear you

know does it have good tires on it those types of things is upholstery rip does

it have really high mileage is it kind of dirty and yucky if it's any of those

things you really don't want to have a used vehicle and now that you mentioned

that I'm gonna get a video done for you here on how to buy a second-hand vehicle

and some of the things that you should be looking at they really need to help

you out with that okay yes a shimmer can you hug the curb

parallel parking on a road test yeah you can be close to the curb a shimmer just

as long as you don't hit the curb okay don't hit the kerb and don't push one of

the tires up over the curb okay yeah no krei I'd be interested to have a look at

that all right so we're almost done with questions here and we're rolling into 50

minutes and yes the kids are here tonight and they breathe really good

because we had a discussion about this and I think there was something talked

about them getting a movie so they've been really good so we're gonna wrap

this up pretty quick here if anybody doesn't have any more questions if you

do have questions I'll be around for a few minutes afterwards and I'll answer

those just by typing you a comment as well if you're going for road test or

want some more driver education as I've said before over at the smart drive test

website I've got the and Cory's helping me with this and I really appreciate

that bricks for wheels his user name his name's Corey he's helping me with my

course passion road test first-time guaranteed

okay if you don't pass your road test first time within sixty days I'll give

you money back okay and as well there's a coupon YouTube live and you'll get 30%

off the course it runs for $38.95 so if you get 30% off you get it for about

twenty bucks and you can sign up for that course and as I said passion road

test first-time guaranteed it has a schedule of six weeks start with the

fundamentals of driving in the parking lot you go out you do left turns right

turns how to control the vehicle most types of things it'll help you with all

that so that's available over at the website and as I said YouTube live is

the coupon you put the coupon in save that in that you'll get it for about

twenty bucks okay Ashmore how many miles would you recommend on a used vehicle

okay when I bought my Honda my current Honda CRV that I have it's in nineteen

ninety eight so it's about it's almost twenty years old now it had two hundred

and fifty thousand kilometers on it which is about a hundred and fifty

thousand miles on it so if you're buying one of those vehicles kids in the

background they're playing with the clothes bags making noise if you're

buying one of those vehicles you can get higher mileage vehicle if you're buying

a domestic vehicle I would be kind of careful once you start running up around

the hundred and twenty thousand miles two hundred thousand kilometers because

they can start getting into problems and those types of things the other thing

you can do is look for the reviews on the internet there that will also give

you information about used vehicle ok faith you are most welcome Francois okay

Francois what I suggest is look at that video on fundamentals of driving and

work with the 36 inch tall pylons the one meter tall pylons and that will help

you with your parking because for purposes of road test you're going to

have to park you're gonna have to reverse stall park you're gonna have to

parallel park and you're gonna have to do three-point turn all of that is gonna

be required for the purpose of the road test all right so we're gonna wrap it up

there again pasture road test first time is available on the smart drive test

website it's a six week course it's self-paced the online stuff is all

self-paced and it will tell you what you need to do in the vehicle to be

successful on your road test first time so have a look at that okay do manuals

really have better longevity Corey you'll have to ask me that question in a

different manner cuz I'm not following you okay um you are most welcome Anna

you are most welcome yeah that is unfortunate Anna okay so if you got a

road test coming up this week good luck on your road test if you have any

questions at all leave me a leave me a comment okay

no disrespect but I just failed my road test by 11 points and I just paid him a

hundred bucks and he said yes and passed me and where was that baby that you were

able to do that I'm curious now that you've got me Karthik it's a Volkswagen

the r6 2,100 miles auto transmission of good again I would Karthik I would go

take that to a mechanic I would spend $100 if you're sort of set on it

spend the hundred dollars and get an inspection Donna okay that would be my

suggestion okay for you are most welcome 200,000 miles

okay well two hundred thousand miles is a lot of miles okay yeah that's a lot of

miles yeah I would definitely get an inspection done on that if you were

thinking about it okay so you have a road test coming up coming this week

good luck in your road test and remember pick the best answer not necessarily the

right answer have a great night bye now

Trying STROOPWAFEL in Portland, OR at PRINCE COFFEE - Duration: 2:21.

We're sleepy.

We're at Prince Coffee.

What are these called again?

So he said stroop, stroopwafels.

I called it a strupe.

Stroopwafel.

It's a dutch waffle.

It's like crispy and it's got the stuff in the middle.

Then we got the latte thathas the stroop in it too.

A buttery melt in your mouth caramel sauce.

We got a latte with that same flavoring.

It's more of a crumbly cookie.

The middle sauce is kind of like a honey-esque thing.

Whoa look at this.

Whoa, i got stringies.

Whoa. Not how i pictured it at all.

Good though.

It's kind of like caramel-ly.

I think its more on the honey side.

Interesting though. Always fun to try something new.

I've had these before, because you can get them at grocery stores in the cookie aisle.

Right, I've had something like this..

They are like a thing you can get places, I've seen them before...

Pretty sure I've had them before.

The coffee is really good.

Because it's more of a darker caramel honey, it tastes really good with the coffee.

We tried out the stroopwafel at Prince Coffee in Portland.

Cool spot, I'd say check it out.

Experience something new.

Thanks for #MunchinOut with us.

And there's parking...

Ivana or Melania: who's the REAL first lady? | 22 Minutes - Duration: 2:10.

This week a spat broke out between Melania and Ivana Trump.

The president's ex-wife was promoting her new book when she said this:

"I'm basically first Trump wife, okay.

I'm first lady okay?"

To which Melania responded, "This is unfortunately only attention seeking and self-serving noise."

To sort this out we're joined by both women, Melania and Ivana Trump.

Okay, Ivana, you and the president have remained close over the years?

Yes, we talk often about our two beautiful children!

And Eric.

I was Donald's first lady, so that makes me the first lady.

No.

I am first lady because I sleep in White House, once a month.

Please you won't even let him touch you.

Roll the clip.

Why she gets to roll the clip?

I'll allow it.

Right there, you swat his hand away like it's cubic zirconia.

No, I try to grab his hand but is so small it slip away like tiny salamander.

I will always be the first because I designed his first hotel.

Psssshhhh, I designed his latest combover.

Now ladies…..

Our first born, Don Jr. taught him unconditional love.

Our first born, Barron, taught him to read.

That's not true!

You're right, he only use picture book.

Ladies!

I wonder, if you could get past this feud, you might get along quite well.

You have so much in common – both former models, both immigrants to America.

Did she fight toot and snail for fair pre-nup?

*Gasp* I know!

You even got the adverbial phrase wrong the exact same way.

This is fun!

Blurt out something else!

He only wear a t-shirt to bed like Donald Duck.

He still does that?

Those bare buns.

And that baby carrot?

There are some places you don't put self-tanner…right?!

More than anyone needed to know.

The first ladies everyone.

Lemon Water In The Morning | Good or Bad | Sensitive Facts | Must watch - Duration: 4:38.

Stop Consuming Lemon Water In The Morning !

Lemon juice makes you lose weight – yes, that's an accepted fact.

Millions of people get up in the morning, zombie-walk to their kitchen, make the supposedly

'miracle' drink, and gulp it down.

Helps you lose weight, it sure does.

But it can wreak havoc on your system as well.

Rujuta Diwekar, the dietitian behind Kareena Kapoor's size zero figure, says that it

is best not to have acidic substances like lemon juice and apple cider vinegar the first

thing in the morning.

Tooth Erosion ! Excessive contact of acidic foods with your

teeth can lead to the erosion of the tooth enamel.

This, over time, will make your teeth sensitive.

Consuming hot and cold foods will lead to sharp pains and a throbbing sensation in your

gums.

You can limit this by drinking your acidic drinks through a straw.

This will minimize the contact it will have with your teeth.

Also, do not swish the drink in your mouth.

Heartburn ! Lemon water may cause severe heartburn.

In fact, if you are already suffering from it, the worst thing you can do is drink lemon

water.

Symptoms include a burning sensation in your chest as well as severe pain.

Worsen Ulcers ! Ulcers are open sores in the body.

They are caused by a break in the mucous membrane, and don't heal easily.

Anything acidic can cause the ulcers to flare up and burn.

The acid will eat into the skin at the particular spot the ulcer is present.

Lemon juice water may end up irritating the stomach lining and prevent the ulcer from

healing.

Worsen The Symptoms Of GERD ! Gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD) symptoms

include heartburn, nausea, and vomiting, which are triggered by spicy, fatty or acidic foods.

Lemon water, being acidic in nature, can make the condition worse.

Upset Stomach ! Some people go on lemon water diets, where

they drink up to a liter of lemon juice water to lose weight.

Bad idea.

It may initially make the weight go down, but anything that drastic is bound to have

repercussions.

The increased acidity level in the stomach facilitates the digestion of food, but excessive

acidity can irritate the mucous membranes, leading to heartburn or an upset stomach.

Dehydration ! lemons are a rich source of vitamin C, also

known as ascorbic acid.

This acid has diuretic properties, and therefore, increases the production of urine in the kidneys.

This leads to frequent urination, resulting in the elimination of sodium and fluids from

the body.

Dehydration is dangerous.

In some cases, it may even lead to death.

So, keep yourself hydrated.

Kidney Or Gallbladder Issues ! People are nowadays using lemon peels as well

to lose weight.

The thing is, they contain oxalates, which are naturally occurring substances found in

humans.

However, if the concentration of oxalates gets high in the body, they can crystallize

and lead to severe health issues.

Oxalates can even affect the calcium absorption in the body.

How To Consume Lemon Juice ! Start your day by consuming water.

Just plain, simple water.

You can have it lukewarm or at room temperature.

Work up to a liter of water.

If you want to include lemon juice in your diet, you can have it as a dressing on your

food or as a refreshing drink after your meal.

Lemon juice has a lot of benefits to offer.

It may prevent kidney stones and treat scurvy, which is caused due to vitamin C deficiency.

It also prevents flu and common cold, decreases inflammation, and increases the frequency

of urination, flushing

the toxins out.

HOW TO MAKE CLOTTED CREAM, Cornish or Devonshire Clotted Cream Cheap Simple Clotted Cream Tutorial - Duration: 8:02.

Hi, It's British cook! welcome back if you new to the channel to have a look at the other videos

This video is all about how to make Clotted Cream. I'm really really excited

It's so simple! This stuff costs 3 pounds to 3.50 in the shops

You can make it at home, so quickly, so easily. It's so simple here. It's brilliant you really gonna

enjoy this video, so please watch it and

Please, please share this with all your friends family post the Facebook in a forum where you want let people

Know HOW easy it is to make Clotted Cream and how cheap it is!

Just look at this

Cornish clotted cream a whole bowl full!

So easy!

Let's get to it

This is brilliant if you live outside of Devon or Cornwall or live somewhere abroad

But sometimes it can be a little bit difficult to get a bit of that Cornish delicious goodness

This is it's brilliant

And there's no waste just think about how much money you can save by doing this share this video with your friends and family

Let them all see how simple it really is

So...... I've got my list of ingredients here.... ( Joking)

All you need is this: Cream double cream heavy cream or whipping cream.

High fat percentage there are two options to making clotted cream

One is to use a big dish, a big flat dish.

I'm gonna be using this because it's easiest separate the cream at the end

Sounds complicated really not if you say you use a pan like this or you can use a saucepan with a lid

Saucepan obviously needs to be ovenproof

So please no plastic handles unless you know they're safe in there

The important thing is you want double cream or in America they call it heavy cream or

You can use whipping cream as well again the same as that butter recipe you're looking for a high fat percentage

The higher the fat percentage more cream we're gonna get this is quite a complicated as you can see

So off the lid comes on that one

That goes in there like that.

So when I say literally anyone, I mean literally when you've got kids you want to cook with or show them something pretty cool

especially if your from Cornwall or Devon

Show them this

Because this is how your granny used to make it

Before we all went the shops

Hand on heart I had no idea I was going to do this video right now

I just was sat there thinking about different things I could do and I was like "Why haven't I told people this yet"?!?!

It's so easy

But before we go any further let me just show you this amazing sunset overnight

Absolutely fantastic up on the moors in Cornwall, the wind's blowing the sun is shining

Just have a look at this

MUSIC

This bit is IMPORTANT though, so listen

Pre-heat your oven to 160C (320f) degrees Celsius. That should be come up in Fahrenheit just now

When you have preheated the oven to 160 degree Celsius

Put the cream in the pan, in the middle of the oven and turn your oven off

Please turn the oven off make sure you turn the oven off otherwise this will go horribly wrong

Preheat 160 degrees put the cream in and turn the oven OFF

TURN IT OFF (Loud-Joking)

so turn off your oven and

So turn off your oven and leave it there. You must leave it without moving it for about 10 to 12 hours

Don't open the oven door, don't let the heat out. Let it do its thing

Everything we taught in today's society tell us does not leave things in the wall, but this is actually how it works

This is how clock cream is actually made

When you take the cream out you need to be quite careful not to mix it all up again

So carry it as it is and you need to put it in a fridge

Somewhere cold from at least eight hours. My suggestion is... if you want the clotted cream for next day. It's quite simple

What you do is you cook it at ten o'clock in the morning. That's what I've done

I'm putting in out 10 o'clock in the morning

I'm gonna take it out at 10 o'clock at night

And I'm gonna put the fridge overnight and when I cut and when tomorrow morning comes I'm gonna

Have a whole load of Clotted Cream.... Now for the really important part if you're from Devon or Cornwall

Or anywhere across the UK or across the world let me know how you put your scones together.

Do you put the cream on first and the jam on top or do you put the jam on first and the cream on top?

VERY Serious matter this let me know down below

Okay, so we've got this out, it's been in the fridge oven overnight

Basically what you've got if you've got the cream on top and then underneath that you've got a thin liquid

the thin liquid can be used baking for bread or

for putting the creamy things

That's the Clotted Cream on top you see it all coming off

Lovely

Okay, so I've got a second batch of clotted cream here and what I'm gonna

Do is show you another little tip just how to get the clotted cream out a different way if you want to?

Basically what we are going to do is use a spoon to cut, or pull this

cream off here, what would but you see it's just thick

clotted cream

completely solid

So cut a hole in the corner and just pour this out

Pour the liquid out and that will just leave us....

With lots of clotted cream

Look at all that clotted cream

Look at that! Look all that clotted cream how thick and deep those

Delicious

Freshly made clotted cream

Cornish clotted cream

delicious

obviously creamy

amazing!

How Simple was that!?!? It was so easy right so just get out there share the video

Show everyone what this is about it's so simple so fast so easy and so cheap

Cheap! It's really cheap

Go on nearly 400 grams a massive amount of clotted cream, look at that from that cream that we put in there overnight

This is so tasty I've just tried it's so creamy thick it tastes brilliant!

So this is a fantastic recipe not only have we got the clotted cream

You've also got this. This is a really creamy liquid. That's left over

Completely usable you can put this in the desserts. Use it as a single cream almost you can cook with it

You can make put it into bread you can I mean it takes really good as well. It's it's really nice

So enjoy this recipe leave me a comment. Please subscribe if you want to see a little bit more

Thank you so much. British Cook. I can't show you my face it is covered in clotted cream! :)

iPhone 8 Plus - Should buy or not? Camera test - Duration: 4:47.

I have iPhone 8 Plus here on the table

It's 64gb in space grey.

Bought from Rocca-al-Mare AppleShop

The next generation iPhone with brand new glass look

First things first, the pacage feels fancy and elegant.

It's made of a nice material

Like with all iPhones, there's instructions

Apple iPods with lightning connection

USB adapter and the wire

Now the most interesting part!

This phone is made of class and aluminum

It's splash and dust resistant

Apple has made the design beautiful adding small rubber in between class and metal parts

Powerful A11 Bionic chip

which makes the phone times faster

It's necessary for the ones who need to start the camera fast in hectic situations

7 megapixels HD camera

for strong selfie game.

25% louder and smoother speakers for creating concerts on your backyard.

True Tone screen.

Screen changes colors based on environment white balance.

And now my favorite part.

12 megapixels double camera

Camera can record 4K and 240fps HD

Depth of field photos in portrait settings

There soon no need to buy DSLR if apple continues making good cameras

With iOS 11 and iPhone 8 there possible to use virtual reality apps

it means, some of the apps work together with real life.

For example you can use IKEA app to test furniture in your room

or mesure different objects using camera.

It's nice when iPhone is fully naked, then you could really feel what does it mean using an iPhone.

But I am a spaghetti finger, so I have a cheap cover for the phone

Let's go outside and test this camera.

In conclusion it's a good phone

especially for the ones who film and do photography

I still have a question.

Why did Apple released iPhone 8 & iPhone X basically on the same time?

Let me know what do you think in the comments.

Hope it was useful. Piece!

Turnout Or Switch - Gauge Or Scale - Model Railroading For Beginners Ep017 - Duration: 15:21.

we've talked a lot about different items in Model Railroading For Beginners but

the one thing that I'd haven't done so far is terminology terminology in a

railroad terminology and model railroading today I'm going to talk

about the difference between gauge and scale the difference between turnout and

switch and a few more things so let's get started with it right now

I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things this channel was

created to help other modelers who are in need of guidance in pursuing their

dream of building a model railroad and when we're building that model railroad

we need to know the proper terminology of what we're talking about and what

we're using and that's what we're going to discuss today some people call

HO gauge some people call HO scale some people call the turnouts

turnouts and some people call them switches now there is a legitimate

reason for every one of those and we're gonna discuss those and we're going to

go over a little bit of a history of history of railroads and what the gauge

is where that came from let's start this off by talking about the difference

between scale and gauge scale is the proportion of real size to the size of

the model railroad that we're using say like 1:48th 1:87th 1:160 for O HO

and N scale now gauge is the distance between the rail now what we use today

is four foot eight and a half inches but it wasn't always like that it started

out at a larger scale of five foot scale now back in 1825 George Stevenson was a

civil engineer and a mechanical engineer with and him and his son created the

first passenger railroad that was called Stockton and Darlington Railroad now he

used four foot eight and a half inches as this the gauge between the rails now

this was in England in 1825 this is long before in the United States that they

used that dimension for the rail back in 1886 the Pennsylvania Railroad used 4

foot 9 inches and the Southern Railways used 5 foot and I think it was in May of

May the end of May in 1886 they just the the Southern Railways decided to move

their rail in three inches so it would be closer to

what the the northern railroads were they did this in 36 hours and what they

did was they took the inside spike of the Western rail and moved it in three

inches and did that all the way up and then over a 36 hour period

moved the rail over that three inches although all through the rails in the

Southern Railway so that became four foot nine inch and then later on it came

down to four foot eight and a half inches and that's where we are today

where did that four foot eight and a half inches come from there was a

program on PBS a long time ago that discussed this same question of how

we got the gauge for the railroad and it goes back all the way to the Roman

chariots and that they found when they when they dug up I think it was in

Pompeii they measured the ruts and from Center to Center and it came out to four

foot eight and a half inches of four foot nine inches now they did this big

old long story about that that you know it came from there and it you know just

through the years it just came and and everything that was built was built with

those dimensions on there and what they said was that the horses were more

accustomed to that distance that measurement for the wheels if it was any

skinnier or any wider it would pose a problem with that also in in 1870

Matthias NACE Forney was a editor for the Railroad Journal and he had a

discussion with a lot of the engineers for the railroads and this is when they

were it doing the narrow gauge at the time and it was discussed and he

published this that you know that these engineers said that five foot was a

better gauge because the four foot eight and a half inches was sub-optimal but

that never took on you know since everything was

already four foot eight and a half inches it just stayed that way and if

you ever out in Colorado Denver Colorado there's a Forney Transportation Museum

there that you would that I suggest you go see we went there about four years

ago and it has everything in transportation as far as bicycles

motorcycles carriages automobiles locomotives and other rolling stock from

the railroads so if you're ever in Denver go take a look at it I'll put a

link to their web page down here now if you want to refer to a chose scale that

is the proper way of doing it it's not a choke gauge now like I told you gauges

the distance between the tracks and a lot of model railroaders use that term a

choke gauge you know that's fine that's the way they want to do it but you know

so gauge is actually the distance between the tracks now if you got 25

model railroaders I said this before you're gonna have 25 different answers

so however you do it is fine but you know I just wanted to let you know that

scale is the proportion of real life to whatever size that you're using and

gauges at a distance between the tracks now let's move on to turnouts and

switches now a turnout is what the engineers refer to on the railroad now

model railroaders also refer to the same item turn out as a switch now I'm not

going to say that they're wrong that's the way that they say it that's the way

they refer to it and also there's a single slip switch and a double slip

switch which is also a turnout so you know even when you're referring to the

turnouts like a conventional turnout why turn out a 3-way turnout at a double

crossover double double slip switch and double or a single slip switch you see

the difference in there some of them are called switches and some of them are

called turnouts but the actual nomenclature for the device is a turnout

and the switch is a section of the turn which I'm gonna show you on some

pictures over here in a few minutes now there are parts of the turnout that I'm

going to show you on the computer here and we're going to go over that and also

on the code for the rail now there's different codes on different scales I'm

gonna and basically I'm just going to talk about n scale and a chose scale now

in a Cho scale you have seventy eighty three and a hundred now most of the

manufacturer tracks like from the Atlas tracks the Bachmann easy track those are

all code 100 now when you get into the Flex track you can get code 83 and you

can get code 70 now an N scale it's a little bit smaller and it goes down to

code 55 now I'm not sure if the the larger one is 70 I have a couple of

pieces of flex track now as far as the numbers on the turnout the turnout

number is referring to the distance a ratio of the distance of the straight

track and the curve so like one in four and I'll show you a picture of it and

explain that a little bit further now you may be wondering why am I even

bothering to go through this well you know I didn't realize it that you know

since most of us are familiar with a lot of things in model railroading and you

know we've done it since we were a kid and you know we've gone back to it or

we're starting out we already been reading up on it

but there are model railroaders who are starting from scratch and what brought

my attention to this is a couple of viewers we're asking what watching them

some of my videos and they're saying what's this what's that I you know and I

was doing the video on an NMRA gauge and he says what's that used for and you

know as far as the turnout what's the number on a turnout because they had no

idea because they never heard it before so this is basically the reason that I'm

going over the terminology and I'm gonna continue with a few more videos after

this one to expand on some of the discussions now I'm going to show you

the a no more a gauge but I'm going to do another video on the NMR

Gate showing you what all the different items on that gauge is now as far as the

turnout goes I'm going to show you the parts of the turnout and I'm going to

show you the relationship of the numbers on the turnout now if you have a number

for turnout and a number eight turnout a number eight turnout is a skinnier

turnout and a number for turn-up is a little bit steeper and I'll show you why

that is here I have a series of why turnouts this is a number two and these

two are a number four now you can see the difference these are different

manufacturers and even though both of them are number fours you can see that

from the thrown rod all the way up to the Frog it's a little bit different and

the angle is a little bit different so nothing is quite precise between the

manufacturers so whenever you're working on something you have to really check to

see what the angles really are this is a picot insulated frog this is an Atlas

electric electro frog I'm not sure exactly what their terminal terminology

is the Atlas is a number four and the picot is a number five this isn't it

this one's an Atlas and this one's a picot and I'll put these together like

this and number four and the number five this one's an Atlas but I think this is

code 100 I'm gonna put these three together right here and you can see I

have three different numbered curves this one's a picot I know this one and

these two right here is Shinohara this is a code 83 regular track and this is a

code 83 Bridge track this one's made by pika this one's made by

micro-engineering now you can see the difference in the ties for the bridge

track their closer together and they're a different dimension now this

is n scale track this one here is code 70 this one here is code 55 now both of

these are manufactured by Atlas but you can see the difference in the height of

the of the rail on there and also you'll notice the different colors in there

that's true with most manufacturers I don't have any code 100 H 0 scale that

there's a code 83 a chose scale right there and you can see that in the

difference between the h o' and the n scale you could pause your video here to

take a look at this diagram of the turnout it gives you all the names of

the parts of the turnout now whether it's a left hand or right hand a curved

turnout or a wide turn on it's all the same the terminology is the same on

every one of them also I'm going to scratch the surface on steam locomotives

and diesel locomotives and how we identify between the two on steam

locomotives that identification comes from the the trucks on there as an

example you might have a 210 Aloka motive I'm going to show you the

difference I'm going to put a display up here and to show you some of the

different ones not all of them I mean there are so many different ones and I'm

gonna do the same thing with the diesels now the the letters on the Diesel's all

have a meaning on it that you know they have S SW they have RS they have F they

have E they have GP and that list goes on and there are so many different ones

that you could look it up and I'm gonna give you a link for on the Wikipedia

where it will cover every possible diesel locomotive and every possible

steam locomotive and we'll put all those graphics up here on the on the page so

you could see that go take a look at Tom's trains and things dot-com where I

have a bunch of other stuff on here that I don't have on YouTube videos and I'm

always putting more on there check out Tom's trains and

things and help support this channel by going there I have some affiliate links

on there I have patreon and also PayPal me Tom's

trains and things so take a look at the web page in some future episodes I'm

going to continue with the the topic of terminology and try to cover as much as

possible that I can going back and and trying to think what it was like from

the very beginning it's kind of hard so if any of you out there have any ideas

of you know you know what do you want to know about what's this or what's that

write it down in the comments section and let me know because you know I

started out a list of the terms that I want to use and I'm going to continue

with a few more videos as many as I need to make it clear what everything is in

model railroading and in railroading I've had a couple of questions since

IRMA came through they want to see my trains running well I got I got a lot my

electronics part packed up in and toads and stuff that I wanted to keep it away

just in case we had a failure in the roof and so I got to stick to all that

stuff back up and get everything back run and plus I was sick for a while so

we'll get that we'll get the get the trains running on there and I'll show

you a video on that so keep watching I got more stuff coming up and we'll see Ya

🔥 Are You an Introvert ? Or Are You Maybe an Undercover Narcissist - Duration: 10:04.

Are You an Introvert — Or Are You Maybe an Undercover Narcissist?

At what point does self-reflection cross the line into self-preoccupation?

Something introverts really like to do, it seems, is read and talk about their own introversion.

A commenter on a recent Science of Us post on the four kinds of introversion summed matters up quite nicely: "Gosh,

introverts are just so FASCINATING!

— Introverts."

This tendency, you could argue, may arise simply because introverts like spending a lot of time in deep reflection,

getting lost in their own thoughts — and some of those thoughts, naturally, are going to be about themselves.

But at what point does self-reflection cross the line into self-preoccupation?

As it turns out, there are some striking similarities between the popular understanding of introversion and a

psychological characteristic called covert narcissism: It's all the entitlement and grandiosity most people associate

with narcissism, minus the bluster.

Maybe you know someone like this: They tend to believe they're being underestimated or overlooked,

like their amazing qualities are forever going unnoticed by everyone else.

They often take things too personally, especially criticism, and sometimes feel a little resentful when other people

bother them with their problems.

Take a look at some of the items on a scale to measure covert narcissism, designed by psychologist Jonathan Cheek:

I easily become wrapped up in my own interests and forget the existence of others.

I feel that I am temperamentally different from most people.

When I enter a room, I often become self-conscious and feel that the eyes of others are upon me.

Of that last one, Cheek quipped to me: "Who are you, who everybody's looking at you?

That's a narcissistic fantasy.

It's assuming that the world is paying a lot of attention to you."

(Scroll down to the bottom of this post, by the way, if you'd like to see how you rank on Cheek's quiz.) Taken

together, many of the items on Cheek's scale sound an awful lot like the way most people understand introversion,

and that's no coincidence.

Covert narcissism correlates strongly with introversion, Cheek explained — if you have one,

you're more likely to have the other, though there are plenty of introverts who don't also have narcissistic tendencies.

"Covert narcissism is sort of a dark side of introversion," he said.

"Just like overt narcissism is kind of a dark side of extroversion."

Put another way: Not all introverts are covert narcissists — but covert narcissists are almost certainly introverts.

Covert narcissism is called many names in the scientific literature: closet narcissism, hypersensitive narcissism,

and vulnerable narcissism, to name a few.

Here, I'll mostly be using the term covert narcissism, and its opposite — overt narcissism,

which is the usual way we think of narcissism: that is to say, as Trump-ish.

But whatever you want to call it, it's not by any means a new insight into human behavior,

even though it's still not very widely known outside of academia.

As far back as the late 1930s, researchers published their observations of this quieter form of narcissism,

according to the psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman, who once wrote about the subject for Scientific American.

The University of California, Berkeley, psychologist Paul Wink addressed the "two faces of narcissism" again in the

early 1990s, and later that decade, Cheek published the first version of his scale.

But covert narcissism is understudied in comparison to its louder sibling,

mostly because the trait is a tricky one to observe in human nature, let alone in a laboratory setting,

explained W. Keith Campbell, a psychologist at the University of Georgia.

"It's not somebody with a big personality," Campbell said.

"It's somebody who's a little paranoid, who thinks they're not being treated fairly.

They're a little suspicious, entitled."

(When he does presentations on the subject, the pop-culture figure who often pops up on his slides to illustrate the

vulnerable narcissist is George Costanza.)

Because the trait is so closely associated with introversion, there are few outward signs of this version of narcissism

— instead of bragging aloud, for example, covert narcissists mostly keep their sky-high opinions of themselves locked

inside their own heads, leaving them feeling misunderstood and overlooked.

Zooey Deschanel, for example may or may not be an introvert and she may or may not be a narcissist,

but back in 2012 she gave an interview to Allure that includes a quote about her college experience,

and it's a pretty great articulation of this state of mind.

"I went to Northwestern because I had gone to a really nontraditional high school.

I was like, 'It'd be cool to have a traditional college experience,'" she told the magazine.

"Then I was like, 'Oh, but none of these people understand what's cool about me.

My specialness is not appreciated in this place.'"

Some psychologists, however, argue that all narcissists are, in reality, quite vulnerable or even needy,

despite their outward boastfulness.

"There are covert narcissist aspects to any kind of narcissist," said Craig Malkin,

author of the new book Rethinking Narcissism: The Bad — and Surprising Good — About Feeling Special.

"It's just a mess with all these different terms.

At the common core, these are people who are addicted to feeling special.

It's just that there are a lot of ways to do it."

Others say that covert narcissism might not really be narcissism at all, but instead a form of neuroticism.

(And in either case, by the way, we're talking here about trait narcissism,

which is different from the personality disorder listed in the DSM-V.

Many people's personalities would rate somewhere on the narcissistic spectrum;

it's when the narcissism begins to intrude negatively into their lives, causing serious problems at work or home,

that it starts to stray into disorder territory.)

Cheek, incidentally, recently completed some new research on the "common core" that unites both forms of the trait,

which he presented earlier this year at the annual meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology.

In a study of more than 600 people, he found that both introverted and extroverted narcissists have two things in

common: A sense of entitlement and fantasies of their own grandiosity.

"You have to have a pretty grand sense of yourself, but you also have to feel like you are entitled to have that

recognized by other people," Cheek said.

"If you're overt, you're out there fighting for that recognition.

But if you're covert, you're left in this kind of strange, introverted state, where you're having these thoughts like,

I wonder why people aren't more appreciative of my good qualities.

Nobody else seems to understand me."

Overt narcissism carries with it some good qualities — these sorts of people, for example,

tend to make excellent leaders.

On the other hand, "I can't see a lot of upsides to vulnerable narcissism," Campbell said.

If you're seeing some of yourself in the definition of this kind of undercover egotism (and you would, you narcissist),

there are some ways to tamp down the tendencies.

"Practice caring and compassion for others," Campbell said.

"Do things you are passionate about rather than make you look good, and take responsibility for your actions.

Basically, practices that minimize the ego and increase connection with the world."

Bonus: If you're the type of introvert who is prone to social anxiety,

turning your attention outside of yourself has been shown to reduce those jittery feelings.

Life gets easier — for any personality type — when you remind yourself every once in a while that it's not all about

you.

You can take our quiz, adapted with permission from Cheek's ten-item scale,

to see whether or not you are a covert narcissist.

$1 with a lamination flaw or metal separation - Duration: 3:44.

Gday people are you going my name is Glen from Gumardee coins and banknotes and

today I'm gonna show you this era coin that I got from circulation and say as

you can see it's pretty well circulated pretty damaged and this is a pretty

common 1986 one dollar coin but the unique thing about this is the flan or

planchet floor now this is a lamination era as you can see the metal looks like

he's flaking off if I do that I can actually push it because it's lift up on

this side and this is generally caused by a weakness in the metal probably when

they actually produced the metal from molten state into a flat piece over

aluminium bronze metal there was probably in impurity or the mixing of

the different elements was not fara and so there was an accumulation of one

element well this one's like silver so it could

be like aluminium itself or tin and it's separated because of the difference in

densities and let's look at focus anyway as you can see

mm-hmm this doesn't automatically focus really so you can see this a lot better

now yeah you can see that a lot better it's definitely flaking off and you

generally see this on a lot of coins then these guys write for the actual

coinage now if I turn the reverse that you can do see and see you of peace and

it is doesn't have any of the lamination floor you have this a rim here I presume

that's just from circulation damage or post mint damage so if you get coins in

change look for these lamination floors you can find them in any currencies

doesn't matter if you live in United States Ethiopia in South Africa Paraguay

you'll eventually get a coin in your local circulation has some type of pre

mint or mint damage generally might post me damage is not classed as a

collector's item because it's just designed to get money so let me know

down below what you think of this coin and if you have actually seen anything

like this in your currency okay so I hope you like this coin and if you have

any questions as well leave them down below well and hopefully I'll get some

more coins in circulation that has some mean errors on them as well okay have a

nice day and enjoy the beautiful day

Do Federer and Nadal get on? Federer and Nadal played doubles together with one another in the Laver Cup in 2017 and they were seen embracing each other and sharing jokes throughout.

The animated reactions between the pair led to Twitter users to claim it was all an act - except it wasnt.

They may be big rivals on the court but off it there is a huge amount of respect and a healthy friendship between the pair.

When Nadal opened his The Rafael Nadal Academy, for example, Federer was there to support and to add to media coverage of the academy.   Ive been around the game 17 years, Federer said, speaking at the event.

Ive seen a lot of hard workers and inspiring players, but youve been the one in my opinion who has been the most inspiring and most influential and made me the player I am today..

Is it normal to be friends when you are two huge rivals? So what about all the big players. are they all such good pals? Well, no.

Federer said: Our bond is stronger than the one I may have with Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray.

Thats why I feel the most connected and closer to Rafa. As Federer acknowledges himself, they see plenty of one another on the tour - although less so now following Federers decision to play less events.

We see each other almost every week, and we take those occasions to chat a bit about ourselves. he said.   I have shared a lot with Rafael, from five matches to promoting together a tournament in Qatar.

In those occasions we had dinners together. I know Rafas family the best, as well. They are a nice and close family. I know his dad, mother and sister.    .

Will they be friends when their tennis careers are over? We dont know - and, in truth, neither does Roger.

I am curious to see what is going to happen once well be done with our tennis careers, Federer told GQ Australia.   At that time Ill know how truly close me and Nadal are.

Dont know if we are going to keep in touch or not, it will be interesting to see. What is the record between Federer and Nadal? 23 of their 37 encounters have come in the final of a tournament and Nadal holds the advantage over his rival, winning 14.

However, Nadal's last finals win over Federer came in the ATP 1000 in Rome back in 2013.

BREADY OR NOT Change this ingredient in your toasted cheese sandwich and you'll never look back - Duration: 11:35.

BREADY OR NOT Change this ingredient in your toasted cheese sandwich and you'll never look back

THE toasted cheese sandwich, also known as the 'cheese toastie' and 'grilled cheese', is the most deeply comforting, warmly familiar of foods.

While at its heart it's simply bread, buttered on the outside, filled with cheese and toasted until golden and melty, it's a generations-spanning classic that's as perfect for a snack as it is a whole meal.

NEWS. COM.

AU 4 Using mayonnaise gives the toastie an even brown.

And while the classic bread/cheese combination is unbeatable in its simplicity, most of us have experimented with extra ingredients at one time or another.

Tomato is a common intruder, as are mushrooms.

Some like to add a slice of ham or salami, while others manage to squeeze a deli-full of olives, roasted capsicum and other antipasto delights in among the cheese.

Perhaps you like a sprinkle of chilli flakes or a dash of Worcestershire sauce, or you've Frankensteined a mad fusion of toasted cheese and garlic bread by adding crushed garlic and parsley.

However you like to fill your personal toasty creation, one thing is probably certain: you use butter on the outside of the bread to keep it from sticking, to help it brown and crisp, and to add a bit of extra flavour.

NEWS. COM.

AU 4 Smearing mayonnaise on the outside of the bread stops the bread getting torn and also evenly cooks it.

NEWS. COM.

AU 4 Mayonnaise can be easily spread on all sorts of bread, from crusty to soft, with no problems.

But what if we told you there was a better way?.

There's something else in your fridge that's far more effective as a coating for your toasted cheese sandwich than butter.

It browns the bread more evenly, burns less quickly (so you can melt that cheese properly), tastes just as good and, most importantly, spreads easily on even the softest of breads.

Mayonnaise.

Once the outside of your bread hits the heat of the sandwich press, a thin layer of mayo will transform into a perfectly even coating of oil that toasts any bread — be it soft white, hearty ciabatta or luxurious brioche — to crispy perfection.

NEWS. COM.

AU 4 After popping the sandwiches in the machine, its clear to see that the mayo bread has a better colour.

While butter splits into oil and solids, the latter of which burns quickly against the hotplate, mayonnaise is perfectly emulsified, meaning no more blackened patches.

And whole egg mayonnaise — the kind you buy in a jar — has the same ratio of salt, so you won't be sacrificing any flavour.

So, whether you're a bread-and-cheese purist or a toasted cheese artisan, don't let butter tear another hole in one more slice of bread.

Perfection, they say, is impossible to improve on.

But if anything could do it, it's mayo.

Cranberry-O or O-Cranberry Scone - Duration: 5:01.

Today lesson is cranberry orange scone. My healthy take on this version.

Into a large mixing bowl add all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, and

cranberries. Make sure you use the dried ones. The reason why we use the dried

cranberries is because the fresh cranberries are very messy to bake with.

They leave big craters and are very tart. Mix everything up well set aside.

Let's cut one stick, ~1/2 cup, of cold butter into tiny cubes.

You could definitely substitute this for coconut butter, but do not use coconut

oil. There are differences between coconut oil and coconut butter. Fun fact, did you

know that English scones require less butter than American scones? Which is why

the English ones are flakier and lighter. The English scones also usually

don't come with mixed dried fruit and nuts. Add the cold butter into the dry

mixture. Using your hand crumbles up the flour and butter together. Don't be too

concerned if there are large crumbs. The larger the crumbs, the flakier the scones

will be.

And I forgot the orange zest. Zest a whole orange. Add it to the dry mixture. Don't be

forgetful like me. Fun fact, did you know that these addictive scones are also

known as soda bread in Irish? Add 1/3 cups of maple syrup into the 1/2

measuring cup. Then filled a 1/2 measuring cup with fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Make sure to remove the orange seeds.

The reason why we do this is because if the liquid use in this recipe

is more than 1/2 cup the scones will turn out a little bit more cake like. Add it

to the vanilla extract and mix it well. Add to the dry mixture. Notice that

there's no eggs in this recipe. Do you know why? Can you guess why? The addition

of eggs in this recipe will make the scones more cake like. Eggs are often used

in baking to create structure and stability in the batter as well as give

moisture to the baked goods.

Using your hand mix everything up really well. Your dough will not form into a

perfect ball. It should stick together and still have some chunks. if your dough

is too dry add a pinch of fresh-squeezed orange

juice at a time until you get this consistency.

Grease a 9 inch baking dish. Then add in the batter and spread it out evenly

onto the baking dish.

Did you know scones originated from Scotland, known as their quick bread

instead of England? Yep it wasn't really popular in England into

the late 1700s when Anna the Duchess of Bedford asked for the scones along with

her tea during afternoon tea time. Since then the scones are served along with

tea during English afternoon tea time.

Once the scones batter is evenly spread onto the baking dish put the scone in

the freezer for 30 minutes while pre-heating your oven to 425 degrees

Fahrenheit. Freezing scones prior to baking allowed the gluten in the flour

to relax which results in a flakier scones. After 30 minutes put your scone into

the oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until an insert of a knife or

toothpicks to come out clean. Oh fun fact, scones are not the same as biscuits so

do not call these biscuits. Look at that. Look how flaky these scones are. Oh so

tasty with a cup of tea or coffee. A perfect breakfast for the fall season.
