Vladimir Putin warns US nuclear strike will NOT stop 'dangerous' North Korea - Duration: 3:45.

Vladimir Putin warns US nuclear strike will NOT stop 'dangerous' North Korea

The Russian president warned Donald Trump against backing the secretive state "into a corner" and urged him to end the nuclear stand-off.

In a speech to top Russian officials in Sochi on Thursday, Putin suggested that a "preemptive strike" on North Korea would be ineffective.

Calling the situation "dangerous", he urged Trump to pursue dialogue with Kim Jong-un's regime instead of making threats against a "sovereign country".

Problems should be solved in dialogue, and North Korea should not be backed into a corner," Putin said at the Valdai Discussion Club meeting. "The situation is dangerous," he added.

"Who can say what the North Koreans hide and where, and whether one preemptive strike will destroy all that.". DANGEROUS: Vladimir Putin said the North Korea situation can only be solved with dialogue.

His comments come as tensions between Pyongyang and Washington continue to spiral out of control.

North Korea has reportedly moved its forces onto a "war footing" in response to a build-up of US warships, including aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, in the region.

US officials have admitted they are "deeply worried" North Korea will launch a nuclear attack on the country in a matter of months. The Hermit Kingdom is thought to possess an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of reaching the US mainland.

H-BOMB: A photo of Kim Jong-un inspecting what appears to be a nuclear bomb.

Therefore the US has been ramping up its military presence in the region in the event the communist state launches an attack. Putin has repeatedly demanded that the US finds a diplomatic solution to the crisis engulfing the Korean peninsula.

Last month he warned military hysteria over the North Korea nuclear crisis may lead to a planetary catastrophe.

WARNING: Putin said the North Korea crisis has reached a dangerous situation. He said: Ramping up military hysteria in such conditions is senseless; it's a dead end. It could lead to a global, planetary catastrophe and a huge loss of human life.

"There is no other way to solve the North Korean nuclear issue, save that of peaceful dialogue.". Today his foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, urged world powers to get behind a joint Russian-Chinese road map for settling the crisis.

Speaking at a conference on non-proliferation in Moscow, Lavrov said that the break-up of a deal on Iran's nuclear programme would send an alarming message.

Trump Admin's Anti Environment Agenda Will Cost Us $34 Billion A Year In Health Costs - Duration: 5:44.

On October 10th, EPA administrator Scott Pruitt decided that the United States has had enough

of clean air, good environmental regulations that help protect the health and safety of

our environment and the American public.

So Scott Pruitt on October 10th decided he was going to repeal President Obama's clean

power rule that regulated the emissions that could come out of coal-fired power plants.

Now, while making this decision, Pruitt said that the war on coal is over.

We're going to start embracing these dirty fossil fuels that have been fueling the country

for a couple hundred years, ignoring the fact that new and cheaper and cleaner alternatives

are readily available and growing at an increasingly rapid rate.

Instead, Scott Pruitt wants to take us back to the 1800s, 1700s and say we're still gonna

burn coal just like our great-great-great-great-great grandfathers did, because that's where our

thinking is today.

That's how backwards we are.

But here's something Scott Pruitt didn't tell the American public when he signed the repeal

order for Obama's clean power plan.

It's gonna cost the United States upwards of $34 billion per year in additional health-related

costs as a result of the repeal of this rule from the Obama administration.

That's how much experts are estimating it's going to cost us due to the coming increase

in air pollution that we're going to see.

We're talking about hundreds of thousands of people across the country suffering from

new and worsening respiratory illnesses, 300 thousand, excuse me is the number of days

off per year we're going to see according to the experts, based on the repeal of this

law.

$14 billion and $34 billion is the range in which we're going to see a decline in economic

activity as a result of the repeal of this rule.

So, even on the low end, at $14 billion extra that we're all going to have to pay as taxpayers

each year for rising health costs, is it worth it?

Is it worth it to allow coal companies to not mitigate how much carbon pollution they're

spewing into our atmosphere?

Is that worth it?

The additional deaths each year, from people breathing dirty air?

The additional cases of asthma developing in children or senior citizens dying from

pollution?

Is that worth it?

$14 billion, maybe even $34 billion on the high end?

The answer is absolutely not, and you'd have to be a complete psychopath to think, "You

know what, that sounds reasonable.

I'm okay with the pollution; that's a decent enough price."

No, again folks, we're still basically powering this country with the same kind of fossil

fuels that we used to power this country when it was founded.

Of all of the things in this country that have evolved and gotten better and made these

technological advances since the country was founded, our energy supply, for some reason,

really hasn't.

We're still burning coal.

They were burning coal in the 1600s before we even came over to this country and founded

it.

This is absolutely obscene at this point.

We know that people will die as a result of Scott Pruitt and the Trump administration

repealing this law.

We know it's going to cost us no less than $14 billion a year as a result of Pruitt and

the Trump administration repealing this law.

So why?

Why do we continue to put these climate-change denying, science-denying, reality-denying

people into office?

It's not because they're looking out for us; it's because they're looking out for corporations,

and those corporations are those the ones that continue to fund their campaigns, at

our expense.

Because these people who run these companies, they don't live in the same areas as their

factories.

They're not the ones with homes near polluted streams or rivers or polluted airways.

They're in those gated communities, where they don't have to worry about the pollution

they're spewing out.

Not to mention the fact that most of them are old enough to where they're not going

to be around when we start to see the real devastating effects of climate change, even

though we're seeing a lot of those today with California being on fire and these increasingly

frequent and intense hurricanes forming in the Atlantic Ocean.

But yeah, let's go ahead and let corporations like coal plants spew as much carbon into

the atmosphere as they want.

Because we're the ones who are gonna have to pay the price regardless, why put the burden

on those poor power companies?

Or at least, that's gotta be the thinking going on inside of Scott Pruitt's demented

little brain if he thinks that it's a better idea to screw over the American public and

let coal companies do whatever the hell they want, as opposed to just leaving one simple

rule intact that wasn't even costing these coal companies that much money.

But you know what it was doing?

It was helping everybody in this country breathe a little bit easier.

But thanks to Scott Pruitt, we won't have to worry about that anymore.

Racist NFL Player Just Denounced The U.S. Look Where He's Headed | MK Entertainment - Duration: 5:01.

Racist NFL Player Just Denounced The U.S.

After Devastating Blow, Now Look Where He's Headed

One of the two players leading the charge and subsequent demise of the 2017-18 NFL season

this year was Seattle Seahawks's Michael Bennett who picked up where unemployable Colin

Kaepernick left off.

It wasn't enough to see that his protesting predecessor can't get signed to a single

team in the NFL.

Now, Bennett wanted to follow his lead in every way he could.

Unfortunately for him, this included denouncing the United States, not only proving that at

the root of kneeling is a hate for the country whose turf you're taking a knee on, but

that these players will stop at nothing simply to show defiance of President Donald Trump.

Bennett just sealed his fate forever with where he's headed now.

Bennett's boycott of the National Anthem began as a message that he was making seemingly

just for attention.

He got it because fans couldn't believe that someone was going to carry on Kaepernick's

legacy that outlasted his career.

Parking his backside on the bench wasn't disrespectful enough for Bennett who then

turned his message about supposed oppression and injustice into full-on violent racism

on the field.

This sick new trend he began entailed "raising the black power salute every time he sacks

a white player on the field, a disgusting racist symbol that black supremacists have

used for decades to display their supremacy over the white race," as Prissy Holly previously

reported for Freedom Dailly.

Bennett didn't stop there.

He's not hiding his hate for the U.S. any longer and isn't afraid to put that disgusting

sentiment on full display.

He's suffering such a level of "Trump derangement syndrome" that he actually believes

he's a slave.

Proving that this entitled millionaire player never actually knew what he was kneeling for

is to claim he's "owned" by the NFL and treated poorly because of it.

Claiming this as well as slamming America in his rant, didn't end well for him.

"A professional football player viciously compared NFL owners who require players to

stand during the national anthem with the Supreme Court's Dred Scott decision; the

infamous 1857 ruling that classified enslaved African-Americans as 'property' and paved

the way for the American Civil War," according to Hannity.

"Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett was speaking with reporters this week

when he made the outrageous comparison, saying players were treated as 'property' who

'don't have the ability to be a person first,'" the report added.

"It reminded me of the Dred Scott case: You're property, so you don't have the

ability to be a person first," Bennett told reporters Wednesday, according to Breitbart.

"I think that in this generation, I think that sends the wrong message to young kids

and young people all across the world that your employer doesn't see you as a human

being, they see you as a piece of property, and if that's the case, then I don't get

it.

I just don't get why you don't see us as human beings first."

"Dred Scott v. Sandford invalidated the standing of any African American whose ancestors

toiled as slaves in America to sue in federal court and maintained that the federal government

possessed no power to regulate the spread of slavery in territories acquired after the

ratification of the Constitution.

Jones announced, 'If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won't play—period,'"

Breitbart explained.

Forgetting that the NFL is a business and despite playing a game for a profession, being

an athlete on the team is a job and a well-paid one at that, Bennett didn't think it's

right for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to say that players would be out of the game for

not standing for the anthem.

Claiming this makes players slaves by comparing them to an actual slave case, just proves

how ignorant he is to the cause he says he's promoting by kneeling.

Other black people in this country struggling and working hard for a living should be offended

by this millionaire playing making this assertion.

All of America, regardless of race, should find this remark deplorable for the fact that

he's actually slamming the U.S. that's afforded him the incredible opportunity in

professional sports that he's in now, but doesn't seem to appreciate.

So, where's Bennett headed now?

Down the same path as Kaepernick because people are repulsed by his arrogance and gross disrespect.

Bennett is particularly enraged and has said he will not stop kneeling no matter what this

season now over the fact that his protesting predecessor is still unemployed.

He blames this too on racism within the league, not Kaepernick's own actions which have

systematically caused the NFL to crumble this season.

"Ratings through the first six weeks of the 2017 season decreased 7.5 percent compared

to last year's first six weeks and 18.7 percent from the first six weeks of 2015,"

according to Breitbart.

Bennett can keep protesting over Kaepernick not being able to work and soon they can both

pout together in the afterglow of their careers coming to an abrupt end.

Obama Named As DEADLIEST President in U.S. History After FBI Releases His Horrific Secret | MK - Duration: 5:17.

Obama Named As DEADLIEST President in U.S. History After FBI Releases His Horrific Secret

| MK

Ever since Trump got into office, Obama has been doing everything in his power to sabotage

Trump's presidency with his little shadow government.

Not satisfied with peacefully riding his golf cart into the sunset, Obama has been behind

the scenes planning his "political comeback" where he's been popping up all over D.C.

to hold fundraisers and international events.

But just as Obama was getting ready for his big power move on Trump, the FBI has just

released their annual summary for 2016, and what they've discovered about Obama is a

devastating blow to not only his legacy, but to any future political plans he might have

had for this country.

Each year, the FBI releases their annual summary known as the "Law Enforcement Officers Killed

and Assaulted Report."

On Monday, the report for 2016 was finalized with the findings being sent to Attorney General

Jeff Sessions.

The report revealed that the Obama Administration was the deadliest in history as there was

a 61% INCREASE in murders targeting law enforcement, thanks to Barack Obama continually putting

a target on the backs of our police with his race-baiting antics and vocal support for

the terror group Black Lives Matter.

The Blacksphere reported:

Monday, the FBI finalized their annual summary known as the "Law Enforcement Officers Killed

and Assaulted Report."

As Sessions put it, the 61% increase in murders targeting law enforcement is both shocking

and unacceptable.

Of course, we knew Obama's Administration painted police as the enemy.

Now it's indisputable.

Breitbart breaks down the numbers even further:

The feloniously killed category is a narrow one.

Sixty-two of those 66 officers died of gunshot wounds, with the last four dying after being

hit by motor vehicles.

The 66 officers feloniously killed in the line of duty in 2016 is the highest single-year

figure since 1997.

The single most common category of officer slaying and the largest increase recorded

was the 17 "ambush" type premeditated killings in 2016, a 142 percent increase over

the seven such attacks in 2015.

Breitbart News has reported extensively on these attacks, the most egregious of which

left five Dallas, Texas, policemen dead after a black nationalist opened fire at a July

2016 Black Lives Matter rally.

An additional 52 officers died in accidents while on duty, for a total of 118 line-of-duty

deaths, a 37 percent increase over 2015.

The number of assaults on officers also increased significantly in 2016, with over 57,000 recorded

nationwide.

This figure represents a 14 percent increase over 2015 and a rate of more than 150 a day

and nearly one assault for every ten police officers in the country.

These devastating deaths on our police officers are directly due to Obama who encouraged his

thugs to go to war with all those who serve and protect.

How many times did we witness Obama making incendiary remarks while sending his race-baiting

minions to hotbeds like Ferguson to drum up the racial discontent and hatred even further?

"Obama spent 8 years stoking the flames of a racial divide that for the most part

had been relegated to the 60's.

Seeing the potential for Leftist profiteering, both politically and financially, Obama encouraged

hatred, particularly against law enforcement," The Blacksphere reported.

The bright side is that President Trump is turning things around for our nation's police.

Breitbart continued:

Attorney General Sessions was confident President Trump's law-and-order agenda could bring

the increase, which occurred under the previous administration, under control.

"Our law enforcement deserves the support of the people they serve.

Fortunately we have a President who understands this," he said.

"President Trump ran for office as a law-and-order candidate; now he is governing as a law-and-order

President."

Within days of taking office, President Trump made it clear that he stood on the side of

America's police with the first executive order that he put into motion.

In his first order, he declared that his administration would serve to "enhance the protection and

safety of Federal, State, tribal, and local law enforcement officers, and thereby all

Americans."

Within just the first 10 months that Trump has been in office, he has delivered on the

promise to support our law enforcement and enhance their ability to do their jobs.

So far, police deaths have already decreased by 20%, but the official numbers won't be

released until sometime next year.

It's wonderful to finally have a president in office who supports law and order and has

the backs of our brave men and women who daily defend that "thin blue line" that keeps

our society from falling into complete chaos.

As for Obama, he has another feather to add to his "legacy" cap with the embarassing

statistic from the FBI that his administration was the deadliest in U.S. history!

Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim Announces Charges Of Fraud And Corruption In College Basketball - Duration: 27:03.

Good afternoon.

My name is Joon Kim. I'm the Acting United States Attorney for the

Southern District of New York. Today, we announce charges

of fraud and corruption in the world of college basketball.

The picture painted by the charges

brought today, is not a pretty one: coaches at some of the

nation's top programs soliciting and accepting

cash bribes, managers and financial advisors

circling blue chip prospects, like coyotes,

and employees of one of the world's largest sportswear companies,

secretly funneling cash to the families of high school

recruits. In all, we have charged 10 people

in 3 separate complaints: 4 college

basketball coaches, 3 people associated with

professional managers and advisors, and 3 with

ties to the major's sportswear company, including

its global marketing director for basketball.

These men allegedly participated in 2 difference - 2 different, but

related schemes. In the first, college coaches

took cash bribes from managers and advisors,

in exchange for directing players and their families

to those bribers. In the 2nd scheme,

managers, advisors, and those affiliated with the sportswear

company, worked together to funnel money to families

of some of the country's top high school recruits, upwards

of a hundred thousand dollars for the player's commitment

to play for the schools sponsored by that company.

Let me start with some details about the first scheme.

We have charged 4 college basketball coaches:

Chuck Person, Lamont Evans, Emmanuel Richardson,

and Anthony Bland. They are all associate, or

assistant coaches, at major division 1 schools with top-

tier basketball programs. They have all been

in and around the game of basketball for a long time. And one -

Chuck Person - played and coached in the NBA.

All of them had the trust of the young players

they coached and recruited. Young men

who looked up to them, and believed that the coaches had their best interests

at heart. Chuck Person, in describing

his influence over one of his players put it this way,

"He listens to one person: that is me."

Chuck person also explained that his players

trusted and looked up to him because, as he reminded them, he had coached Kobe

Bryant, and had worked for Phil Jackson. But as

alleged, these coaches abused that trust placed

in them by the players and their families, and they violated

the duties that they owed to their schools in exchange for

bribes ranging from $13,000 dollars, to almost $100,000 dollars

each. These coaches allegedly pushed particular

managers and advisors on the players, and their families.

And certain other coaches arranged for separate payments to be made to

the families as well. Anthony Bland described what he could

do for the managers and advisors this way;

"I can definitely mold the players and put them

in the lap of you guys." The professionals whose

lap the corrupt coaches put their players in, were the defendants:

Christian Dawkins, Munish Sood, and Rashan Michel.

Dawkins was an athlete recruiter for a sports agency

who was trying to start his own sports management business.

Sood was an investment advisor, and Michel

owned a company that sold suits and other high-end clothing to professional athletes.

For these men, bribing coaches

was a business investment. They knew that

the corrupt coaches in return for bribes, would pressure the players to use their

services. And they also knew that if and when those young players

turned pro, that would mean big bucks for them

in professional fees and profits. As Daw - as Dawkins put it

during a meeting that was recorded by law enforcement,

"If we take care of everybody, we control everything.

You can make millions off of one kid."

While pushing these professionals, the bribed coaches showed little regard

for the player's well being. They ignored red flags,

seeing only the green of the cash bribes flowing their way.

For example, in steering players to finance - to a

financial advisor - who it turned out was actually cooperating with the Government -

most of the coaches never asked the advisor a single question

about his qualifications, his track record in handling

player's money, or really anything else about his business.

A simple Google search by the coaches of the advisors

name would've revealed that the SEC had brought securities fraud

charges against him just last year, including for

misusing his professional athlete clients' money.

Similarly with Christian Dawkins, none of the - none of the coaches warned

the players or their families that Dawkins had lost - had lost his

job at a sports management company after an NBA Players

Association investigation revealed that he had misused his client's

credit cards - credit card to pay tens of thousands in

unauthorized purchases. But it wasn't just that the

bribe taking coaches ignored red flags, and didn't seem to care about

the qualifications of the advisors. As alleged, the coaches

affirmatively lied to the players, and their families. In talking

to the families, they built up these professionals, some of whom they

barely knew, with ball faced lies.

Chuck Person claimed that one of them was his own personal

advisor, and a financial advisor to hall of fame

basketball player Charles Barkley. Well, that wasn't true.

That advisor - the same one who was cooperating with the Government -

had never even met Charles Barkley, and never handled Chuck Person's

money, other than than paying him cash bribes.

Chuck Person also assured a player's mother that he, himself,

had not received a penny for promoting that advisor to her.

That was a lie too. That conversation took place 5 days after

Person had taken an envelope filled with $15,000

in cash from that very advisor during a secret meeting

in a Manhattan hotel room. By allegedly accepting bribes in this

way, these 4 coaches not only breeched their obligations

to their schools, violated NCAA

rules, and betrayed the trust of their players, they also

committed serious federal crimes, as did the managers

and advisors who paid them.

The 2nd scheme, although slightly different, came from the same

playbook of fraud and corruption. In this scheme,

Dawkins and Sood again, worked with 3 people with ties

to a major global sportswear company to send bribe money

to the families of some of the country's top high school recruits.

The 3 men are; James Gatto, the Global Marketing Director for basketball

at the sportswear company, Merle Code, a business affiliate

of the same sportswear company, and Jonathan Brad Augustine

the Program Director for an amateur basketball team sponsored

by that company. The complaint alleges that

these defendants conspired to secretly funnel 6-figure payments

to the families of 3 high school players. In exchange,

the players would agree to commit to playing basketball

at 2 colleges that were sponsored by that company, and eventually

retain the advisory services of Dawkins and Sood, and

to being sponsored by that sportswear company.

Recognizing the illicit nature of these payments, Gatto and Code allegedly

took steps to hide them. Instead of paying the families directly,

they made the payments through Dawkins' company, and Augustine's

amateur basketball team. They also conspired to

disguise the payments in the company's books by using fake invoices,

and false entries. As Merle Code put it in

another recorded call, "It's on the books, but

it's not on the books for what it's actually for."

As alleged, the charged defendants claim that the payments

to the players and their families were made in coordination with

the coaches at the 2 colleges sponsored by that company.

Now if you read the detailed allegations in the 3

complaints totalling over a hundred pages, you will find

yourselves in the dark underbelly of college basketball.

We were able to get into that world through a cooperating witness,

and 2 undercover agents posing as corrupt advisors,

and financial backers. And we obtained

numerous court authorized wiretaps, and made hundreds of consensual

recordings. Through these recordings, we were able to hear

in the defendants' own words, the audacious, allegedly criminal

schemes. And I'm gonna quote a couple of them. As

Dawkins put it in one recording, "If you're going to fund

these - those kind of guys (referring to the coaches) at the most elite

programs," Dawkins said, "I mean, we'd

be running college basketball."

In another recorded conversation with the FBI undercover,

Dawkins explained that what they were doing - funneling money to players'

families - could "not be completed -

completely accounted for on paper because some of it is -

whatever you want to call it - illegal."

He was right. That is what we call it;

illegal. So let me walk, uh, you through some

of these visuals you have here. These 2 charts, uh,

diagrams show the 2 different schemes, uh,

in a picture format. So this one shows the coaches. This is the alleged coaches

bribery scheme. These are the managers and advisors who paid the bribes to these

coaches, who in turn pressured players, uh,

to go, uh, to use these managers once they turned pro. And some of the college

coaches alleged to have, uh, funneled some of the bribes to the players

and their families. This depicts the, uh, alleged sportswear

company fraud scheme that has, uh, the company affiliates,

and the managers and advisors paying cash

to families - players and their families. Some of them directed

uh, according to them, by the coaches. In exchange, the players and families

would commit to, uh, division 1 schools, uh,

and they would file false certifications about their amateur status,

and receive athletic scholarships in return. And these were schools

that were sponsored by that company.

This investigation has

required the dedication, hard work, and skill, of many, many people,

and I want to recognize some of them. First, I want to thank our great

partners at the FBI, represented here

today by Assistant Director in Charge Bill Sweeny, Special Agent in Charge Mike

McGarrity, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge George Kasami.

We thank them, and the many terrific agents in the New York

Field Office who worked tired - tirelessly on this investigation.

We also thank the agents around the country who helped execute the arrests

last night, and this morning. We do so many of our important -

our most important groundbreaking - groundbreaking cases with the FBI,

and this is certainly one of them. Second, I want to thank

the career prosecutors and investigators in our Office who

have worked relentlessly and masterfully on this case. They are,

Assistant United States Attorneys Robert Boone, Ted Diskant,

Noah Solowiejczyk, and Aline Flodr, as well as

Tatiana Martins and Russell Capone, the Chief and Deputy Chief of our

Public Corruption Unit. And I also want to recognize the criminal investigators

in our Office, and in particular, LaValle Jackson, for all of his work.

For the defendants charged today, the

madness of college basketball went well beyond the big dance

in March. Month after month, the defendants

exploited the hoop dreams of student athletes around the country,

allegedly treating them as little more

than opportunities to enrich themselves through bribery and fraud schemes.

Fraud, abuse, and corruption, of the

type alleged in the charges brought today, contaminates

all that is good and pure around it, and it has

no place in college sports. The defendants alleged

conduct not only sullied the spirit of amateur athletics,

but it showed contempt for the thousands of players and

coaches who follow the rules, and play the game the right way.

And as many of them hit the hardwood floors later this week for college basketball's

first official day of practice, we hope that these charges and arrests

will help keep the sport that they love, clean

and honest. Thank you. I'd like to bring to the podium now

uh, Bill Sweeny, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's New York Field Office.

(Bill) Thank you Joon, and thanks to your team whose on my right, and thanks to Mike and

George for your leadership in the investigation. To all the agents, forensic - the forensic accountants

and the countless agents around the country who helped us execute the arrests this morning.

Those charged today include athletics industry consultants,

a financial advisor, an executive of major international athletics apparel

company, and several coaches from both public and private universities

as well as high school level AAU. Coaches have

a significant influence over their players. And with that influence, comes

a responsibility to guide these young athletes in the right direction.

As alleged however, the coaches charged today casted aside

that responsibility, choosing instead to use their influence

to benefit themselves, without regard to the players' own

genuine interests. All of those charged today contributed to a

pay-to-play culture that has no business in college basketball.

Today's arrests should serve as a warning to others choosing to conduct business

this way in the world of college athletics. We have your playbook.

Our investigation is ongoing, and we are conducting additional

interviews as I speak. We have a lot more work to do,

and I encourage those who wish to proactively provide information,

to contact us through our tip line at (212)

384-2135. Thank you.

(Joon) I'll take some questions.

(Aside) (inaudible) comes as a surprise (inaudible) money that (inaudible).

Um, I guess my question is how widespread

do you believe this (inaudible)? And that's the first question. (inaudible)

Um, and the 2nd question, when you look at the circle, (inaudible)

legal, who's the victim in this?

Because in this circle, everyone (unintelligible) in some way financially; the players,

the coaches, the sportswear company, and the colleges. So who's

the victim? (Joon) Um, so you had 2 questions. One is how

per - pervasive do I think it is, and, uh, who's the victim?

Um, on the pervasiveness, um - no, the - I'm not gonna comment

beyond what we've charged, but there's a lot there, as you can see.

It's a hundred plus pages of allegations. 10 people have been arrested, 4

coaches at major top-tier basketball programs. So,

um, that's, uh, a significant number of people,

uh, and conduct that, um,

that affects a number of important programs. So, you know, the investigation

as Bill said, is ongoing. This is, um - it's now

overt, obviously - It was covert until today - uh, and we will

continue to be investigating. So we'll see how pervasive it is.

Um, on the question of who's the victim, um, it's, it's clear that

in, in this, uh, scheme for example, there are

false statements being made to the colleges, uh, saying

- and those, those were generated buy the professional managers, people

working at the sports apparel company saying, um,

you know, if we're gonna give you money, you should commit to this school, and yet they,

they make false certifications to the school saying that they are, um, amateur

athletes, and have not been paid. So, uh, uh,

the schools are in, in a way, the victim. The schools are also a victim

uh, where they have hired, uh, college coaches

who are taking bribes - uh, cash bribes from managers

and advisors to direct players who are entrusted

in their care to certain professional advisors. Um, the schools are also

- a number of them are public schools, and, uh, and they are all schools that

receive, uh, money - federal funded money. And so, uh,

to the extent the bribery - the bribery laws prohibit - the federal laws

prohibit those who, who work for public institutions, or institutions

that receive public money, from taking bribes. And I think all of us

the public, uh, anyone who plays in the game, uh,

are victims of that type of conduct. (Aside) I was wondering if, uh, what kind of

cooperation you've had with the NCAA up until this point, and what

kind of special (unintelligible) we have from (stutters) here on? (Joon) Uh, the

investigation was covert until this morning, so

uh, we have reached out to the NCAA, and we will be working and talking

to them. Until today, uh, I don't believe they were aware of this investigation.

(Aside) You've established a, uh, a special phone number in this case. What's your

message to people that are in, in the programs that are referenced in your charging documents today

and what's your message to people maybe in other programs about what you want

to have them call forward about, and (stutters) your message to them to maybe cooperate

(inaudible)? (Joon) Yeah. The message to them, uh, along the lines of what, uh, Bill

Sweeny said is, if you were someone who engaged in this type of conduct,

or you are aware of others who have engaged in this type, type of conduct,

call, call us - call the FBI hotline number that's on our press release, or

our Office, uh, and tell us about it. Um,

if you're someone who yourself engaged in some of this conduct,

uh, I'd also encourage you to call us, uh, because

I think, uh, it's better for you to call us, than us to be calling you

when we're ready to charge you. (Aside) Joon, Joon, uh, not too long ago when, uh,

your predecessor was - uh, Preet Bharara was up there talking about, uh, the

Albany trial - the Albany corruption cases, he mentioned that, uh,

beyond prosecution, there needed to be a cultural change in Albany. i'm wondering if there's

some sort of analogue here with the NCAA, um,

beyond this kind of, uh, (unintelligible) that this prosecution

represents? Uh, is there anything the league can do

that needs to happen otherwise? (Joon) Um, as I've said, we haven't been in

communication with the NCAA until today. Um, so,

this - the message of this case is that we have

uncovered the conduct that we've alleged in this complaint. It is serious,

they are federal crimes, and it involves a number of important programs

and important, uh, uh, coaches.

And the message is, if it is pervasive, then people should be

looking at it. And, you know, I'm not gonna comment much more on what the

NCAA should or could do. Uh, we speak, uh, through our

charges, and I think the charges speak pretty loudly. (Aside) Would you say that it's fair to say

that the charges hinge (unintelligible) into the (unintelligible) rules? And

secondarily - without you telling the NCAA to do - was it

important to you - beyond the fact that because of NCAA rules - there was false certifications?

And certainly what you just said, you kind of spoken independently of the importance of

amateurs in college sports. Do you guys take a position that it's important that college sports

be amateur? (Joon) Um, let me take that last part first. I'm not

- we're not taking - we're a prosecutors' Office. We're not taking a position on

what's good for, uh, amateur sports, or things of that nature. What we

do take a position on, is if you violate the law, we're gonna investigate it

and prosecute you. Um, so, the question about, um,

um, whether, um, (unintelligible)....

we're not, we're not here to regulate,

uh, college basketball, but if we find that,

that you're engaged in conduct where you're violating - for example, in the charges that

we have brought: um, wire fraud, uh, statutes -

uh, the travel act, bribery statutes - then you will be prosecuted.

(Aside) Hey Bill - this is for, um, Bill.

(unintelligible). Um, (unintelligible) upon that with another

type of case. Um, (unintelligible)

Did it (unintelligible), or is it just, uh - (Bill) So for those who couldn't hear the question, the

question was, uh, how did we get involved, and how we start this case? And you should know that

I'm not gonna answer that (laughing).

(Joon) I'm gonna answer some of it. I think in the complaint, uh, we do allege that

a, a cooperating witness who I've mentioned, uh, was charged by the SEC,

that he became a cooperating witness after being charged by the SEC, and then

- he had in the past engaged in this type of conduct,

and said, I'm aware of people who are willing to do this, and then he was inserted.

And so, that's - that's in the public documents. (Aside) Is there any evidence that

um, the players who were pushed to your cooperator, or to

Dawkins - I think the one who was charged with the credit card fraud - or fired for credit card

fraud - any evidence that those players have been defrauded, or ripped off

by these managers? (Joon) Uh,

the - we don't - there, there is no allegation in the complaints that I'm aware of

of the players that are, uh, described in the complaints

being ripped off, uh, by these defendants, other than being

told of the lies that I, uh, referenced, and being told

that they're being sent towards certain advisors, uh, because

they thought it was in their best interests, when in fact, they were just getting bribes.

(Aside) (unintelligible)

(inaudible)

(inaudible)? (Joon) Sorry, I couldn't hear you. (Aside) To your knowledge, do you think

(inaudible) programs and universities (inaudible)? (Joon) Did any

officials at the - well, there are a number of coaches who have been charged -

oh, higher. There are no allegations of, uh - in the complaint - of

administrators, uh, participating in the, in the bribery.

(Aside) Hi. Have you (unitelligible) a little more?

Um, (unintelligible). (Joon) Mm hmm. (Aside) Um,

which sportswear company, how long has this been going on, and how high

up the, um, chain of command, uh, does this go? (Joon) Okay. For the

sportswear company, um, uh - we don't - we haven't named

uh, the company, or any particular school, in our charging documents.

That's what we generally do. We don't name individuals, or any of these

that are not charged. That being said, uh...the internet's

an amazing thing. You, you, you search these folks, you know where they work. Um,

so...one of the defendants

who was charged, is himself quite senior in the company. Uh, he's the global -

I believe the, the title was Global Director of Basketball,

or Marketing - Global Marketing Director for Basketball. So, uh,

that in our view is a pretty serious and senior position. It's clearly someone who had

uh, the authority - as alleged in the complaint - to funnel

company money upwards of $100,000 dollars, and also,uh, book it

in certain ways that would disguise them. But there are no other allegations in the complaint

of more senior people at that company. Last question. (Aside) Could you state your

reaction to the, um, the corruption conviction being overturned for Dean Skelos?

(Joon) Yeah. Um, you know, we, we issued

a statement, uh, just before coming down. Um,

you know, we're still assessing our appellate options, but, um,

we, we, we look forward to retrying

uh, Dean Skelos and Adam Skelos. Um, the,

the reversal - if you read the decision - makes clear that the

evidence that we presented at trial was more than sufficient to prove their guilt

under any standard, even under the new McDonnell standard.

Um, but because McDonnell came out after, and the jury instruction at the time

didn't obviously reflect what was later to be

the language in the McDonnell decision, the 2nd Circuit reversed it, and sent it back

for a retrial. Um, as I said in the statement, we look forward to a retrial,

and again, uh, uh, presenting that evidence

to a jury of New Yorkers, and giving the public what they

deserve (we think) in that case, which - uh, the justice that they deserve.

Look, we can see from this case, and all, you know, the work that went into this,

um, cleaning up corruption is difficult work.

Um, it's certainly difficult in, uh,

uh, in New York State government. uh, but

we're here, and these folks standing here, uh, are here to

do what we can, uh, to make sure that, uh, our Government

is clean and honest. (Aside) How confident are you, um, to get another

conviction? (Joon) We're pretty confident. (Aside) How are you gonna change your strategy

in McDonnell?

Incredible Facts About US Special Forces - Duration: 13:52.

The United States government has tried their best to keep the facts about their Special

Forces and what they do as secretive as possible.

However, in a country that is so proud of its military and their lore, quite a bit has

managed to leak out anyway.

More recently, the Navy SEALs have been very much in the spotlight due to the raid on the

compound holding Osama Bin Laden, as well as the subsequent movies and books about it.

However, much of what you have heard recently about the SEALs may not be the whole truth,

and there are many other equally interesting Special Forces that have fallen under the

radar in recent years.

10.

The American Green Berets are a Nod to British Royal Commandos During World War 2

The Green Berets are one of the most famous special forces divisions in the world, and

one of the two most well known in the US army, the other being the US Army Rangers.

The Green Berets were originally formed as a unit for performing unconventional warfare

when needed, getting a lot of their original work during Vietnam, where they fought with

guerilla tactics and trained those Vietnamese on the American side to do the same.

However, while the classic green beret is synonymous with American special forces, it

is actually really a nod of respect to the British soldiers that inspired their existence

in the first place.

The green beret was designed by a former Special Forces Major Herbert Brucker, who had been

with the OSS, and was very familiar with the British Commandos during World War II, who

wore green berets as standard issue.

The green beret was actually not officially sanctioned at first, and was mostly worn during

combat training to sort of build morale.

Eventually, President Kennedy expanded the role of the Special Forces in Cold War operations,

and officially asked them to wear the green beret from then on.

The Green Berets now specially honor Kennedy, laying a wreath at his gravesite every year

in remembrance of the respect he showed them.

The US Does Not Track Confirmed Kills For Any Branch, Special Forces or Otherwise

Not that long ago, late SEAL sniper Chris Kyle had a book published that self aggrandized

his life and role in a way that was likely not particularly approved by military command,

and doesn't really befit the generally humble and secretive role special forces are supposed

to take on.

Regardless, he quickly became a folk hero in certain circles, partly for his claims

that he had the most confirmed sniper kills in history.

Now, we should first point out that snipers today have a lot of very advanced equipment

and math on their side, so comparing them to the achievements of the past is hardly

fair.

Further, since then other snipers who had put their humility on the back-burner have

claimed to have even higher kill counts.

The problem is that their entire premise is bunk – there are no "confirmed kill"

lists in the military.

The military does keep track of incidents, but they are mostly going on the word of the

soldiers involved, and don't keep a kill tally anywhere.

They don't have the time, or would take the effort if they did, to go through every

incident a soldier was involved in and keep a kill tally.

So when a soldier says they have a certain amount of kills, some people would just take

them at their word, as they trust a military man.

But it is easy for our memories to play tricks on us and to exaggerate our accomplishments

even in our own minds.

The truth is that confirmed kill counts simply aren't a thing, except in the individual's

mind.

8.

The Navy SEALs Have Something Called "Hell Week" That is Perhaps Even Worse Than It

Sounds

The United States Navy SEALs have been in the news the past few years for several high

profile operations, and because of the media spotlight that Chris Kyle turned on himself

and the SEAL community.

They are known for being incredibly tough, absurdly well trained, and some of the best

of the best even among fellow Special Forces groups.

The way they get there is a selection process that is straight out of hell.

The final part of the initial training involves a five and a half day period designated as

'hell week', where you get less than four hours of sleep a night, and are constantly

subjected to grueling training in the most rigorous conditions.

Trainees can expect to get covered in mud, stand in ocean water, stand still while soaking

on the beach, paddle boats, carry boats over their heads, do all sorts of physical exercises

and training drills, deal with horrible cold, physical pain and discomfort, complete exhaustion

in some cases, and extreme mental fatigue.

All of this is expected to be done while extremely sleep deprived, and good decision making is

very important during the final part of the training.

To make matters even harder, the drill instructors will stand nearby with bullhorns and encourage

people to drop out, to mimic the voice in their head that tells them to quit.

The SEALs believe that mentally wanting it is more important than anything, so this negative

encouragement ensures that the trainee really does want it more than anything.

7.

The "Night Stalkers" are Especially Good at Nighttime Operations, Helicopter Use, and

Awesome Names

The Night Stalkers are a Special Forces division of the Army whose job is almost entirely to

fly helicopters.

Some of the larger helicopters that carry multiple people will also have a trained Night

Stalker medic on board as well.

These forces got their name because of their skill at getting to areas undetected at night,

although they are known for being good at stealth at any time of day or in any region,

and are known for their motto "Night Stalker's Don't Quit."

As a helicopter force, their job is to get into places where reinforcement, supplies,

or evacuation of some kind is needed, often having to make their way through hostile territory

to get there.

This has made them very good at making their way through incredibly dangerous weather,

terrain and enemy emplacements, in order to backup the US military as needed.

(Quick note: if you've seen or read Black Hawk Down, the Black Hawk helicopters were

piloted by Night Stalkers.)

They are known for comprehensive but quick training that is constantly reinforced on

a regular basis, bringing new people up to readiness quicker than some other special

forces – but no less good at their jobs.

Many people may also not realize that while the SEALs got the lion's share of the glory,

they relied on the Night Stalkers for insertion and extraction when they raided the compound

where terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden was hiding.

6.

Delta Force is So Secretive You Aren't Even Supposed to Know They Exist

Delta Force is one of the strangest Special Force units, and possibly the most elite of

them all – if nothing else, they are the most secretive.

Delta Force members are not supposed to tell anyone the unit exists, with threat of prison,

and understand well the consequences and the importance of keeping their role a secret.

When a Delta Force member dies, the United States Army will not admit that they were

a member of Delta Force, as the unit is supposed to be kept

that secret.

It is one of those open secrets, such as the DEFCON levels – something that is still

the highest level of classified – that somehow leaked out anyways.

However, despite their existence being leaked, this doesn't mean the government has any

desire to give any details about what they do.

We do know that they were the ones who captured Saddam Hussein, and who also took out several

top leaders in Iraq shortly after, but very little is known about them.

Unlike the SEALs, they are not compartmentalized.

They are more like a shadow force that operates almost alongside and within the regular army,

so that they can perform more longterm operations as needed – whereas the SEALs tend to be

used for more quick in-and-out missions.

While some wonder why the SEALs get all the glory, the focus on the SEALs helps Delta

Force to keep their mission and work as secretly as possible.

5.

US Special Forces Have to Know Multiple Languages On Top of Having Amazing Combat Capabilities

Most people tend to think of Special Forces as just highly trained killers who specialize

in survival skills as well.

They are often believed to be incredibly physically fit, and mentally sound, but popular media

often doesn't portray them as particularly intellectual in their pursuits.

More often than not, it focuses mostly on the aspect of their prowess as warriors and

their hardened emotions that allow them to make tough choices in combat and kill others

before they kill them.

However, to get into the Special Forces you have to be the best of the best, and this

does not just include physical characteristics.

Anyone who wants to be in the Special Forces, especially in a leadership position, needs

to clearly demonstrate their intelligence, especially under pressure.

And Special Forces training includes intensive training in another language, usually one

that will be used commonly in the region you are deploying to.

You are not just expected to be tough and strong, you are also expected to be bilingual

so you can communicate with the locals and even blend in if necessary.

Being in the Special Forces is often more about the mental aspect than the physical.

As we talked about earlier when discussing the Navy SEALs, many in leadership believe

that the drive to be a part of the Special Forces is far more important than your physical

fitness.

4.

Some US Special Forces are Allowed to Grow Beards and Have More Lax Discipline in General

Some US Special Forces are actually allowed to grow beards.

This is partly due to the Special Forces units often having more individuality and lax discipline

as part of their structure – the most elite people tend to be less likely to want to submit

to strict orders and the stifling of creative thought.

However, apart from the unique personality of Special Forces, there are also strategic

reasons for beard-wearing in the Middle Eastern theaters of war, specifically.

Many Middle Easterners simply do not respect a man who does not have a full beard, and

for those who are in positions where they constantly interact with regular, everyday

folk in the towns, it can make it difficult to get respect or blend in without a beard.

And more often then not, these roles end up in the hands of the Special Forces.

This has always been controversial, as many in the regular units feel it is giving the

Special Forces privileges they should not have, and some in leadership believe that

it can eventually lead to a breakdown in order and discipline where troops wear less and

less of the proper uniform, and altogether take their jobs too casually.

Recently the United States military cracked down and started ordering those who are not

in positions where they regularly interact with people in the towns to start shaving

their beards, whether they were Special Forces or not.

In order to ensure proper discipline, they felt that if you don't have a strategic

reason for having a beard, you should not be sporting one.

Of course, some in the Special Forces were not happy at all to hear this.

3.

The US has a Division of Special Forces Who Specialize in Predicting the Weather

It's something you really don't think about, but when you do stop to think about

it, it seems rather obvious.

Of course the United States military cannot afford to rely on the National Weather Service

for accurate weather predictions.

They often need very quick and accurate calculations in very tense situations where lives are on

the line and time is of the essence.

These situations often occur in remote areas where any kind of weather service is little

to nonexistent, or simply isn't close to accurate enough to make calls that could decide

the fate of human lives.

And that is where the Special Operations Weather Technicians, or SOWT, come in.

They are tasked regularly with keeping a constant eye on the weather in new and hostile environments,

and sometimes have to make decisions with very little to go on.

In some rare cases, they have been parachuted in in order to assess the situation to see

if a safe escape by helicopter was possible in dangerously foggy conditions.

They are often brought along as a precaution when weather is bad, in order to provide input

to helicopter pilots on how to avoid the most dangerous weather and bring everyone safely

back to base.

While most people have not heard of them, they are a vital and integral part of the

United States Special Forces.

2.

The US Unified Command Structure For All Special Forces was Only Established in 1987

The United States Special Operations Command, or SOCOM for short, is something you would

think existed for a long time.

They are tasked with coordinating all of the various and sundry Special Forces units, making

sure that they can all work properly together, and don't accidentally bump into each other

while performing operations.

While it would seem like common sense to have something like this to begin with, sadly that

was not the case.

Back in the 1980s the Iranians were holding hostages, and Delta Force botched a rescue

effort rather badly.

Not to besmirch Delta Force, though; the blame for the failure was put on the fact that several

Special Operations groups were not properly coordinating together, which lead the mission

to become disorganized.

After this disaster, the United States leadership decided that they simply could not afford

such a thing to happen again – our most elite units and all the training we put in

are no good if we cannot keep them properly organized and coordinated.

We do them a disservice that way.

Since then, the United States has had a unified command for Special Forces to ensure such

problems do not occur again.

1.

The US Pararescue Force is Often Tasked with Recovering Astronauts After Water Landings

The Pararescue force is one of the most elite in the United States Special Forces.

While they are not as aggrandized by the media, as they are not really known for combat, their

skills are some of the most important, and very, very few make the cut.

The entire strength of the Pararescue at any given time is only about 500 men, which is

incredibly selective even for Special Forces.

They are intensively trained in the ability to parachute from all kinds of distances and

into all kinds of conditions, are skilled at survival, and are often trained with medical

skills to help those they are trying to tend to behind the lines.

When they were in their earliest days, the Pararescue were volunteer medics from the

army who dropped into a deep jungle to care for wounded people who had bailed out of a

plane near the Chinese border.

Since then they have been tasked with being on hand to rescue astronauts from the water

on splashdown, and once rescued Neil Armstrong and astronaut David R. Scott when they had

to make an unexpected landing in 1966.

More recently, they have seen a lot of activity in the Middle East, rescuing civilians from

landslides while braving horrific weather conditions and risking enemy attacks at the

same time.

NFL: Racist NFL Player Just Denounced The U.S. After Devastating Blow, Now Look Where He's Headed. - Duration: 5:01.

Racist NFL Player Just Denounced The U.S.

After Devastating Blow, Now Look Where He's Headed.
