Getting stuff in the mail used to be fun.
Birthday cards, letters, Amazon boxes.
Our mail today is not that fun.
Sometimes I hate being right.
If you couldn't tell by our poor attempt to act natural in the last video,
I went to the Thanksgiving Eve Benefit to see Olivia.
I know, I know all the things that you're about to say,
she's already said them.
And, yeah, in retrospect, I don't know how I expected to get there and back without being noticed.
Retrospect? Okay, we all saw straight through that cheese run.
You just didn't listen.
Well, I'm listening now.
Got these from a friend.
There's no signature but Morgan, the fired yet somehow still employed house handyman, dropped these off.
So, I think we have a pretty good idea as to who's behind this.
She looks surprised to see you.
Clearly things are going well.
Okay, it's not as it seems- - -Wait, wait...
And what exactly is happening here?
Jack, can I, uh?
I guess. -Are you sure?
Yeah, there's no point to keep it a secret now.
So, when I went to see Olivia I left Donni a voicemail. -A butt-dial.
But my phone was in my front pocket so I don't know how that happened.
Well, nevertheless, through the miracle of modern technology, I present to you...
[Olivia V.O.] You actually came.
[Jack V.O.] I told you I would. The narcissist in me tells me you're glad to see me.
[Olivia V.O.] I am glad but Jack, Arthur's going to find out.
[Jack V.O.] He's in Los Angeles. What's he going to do?
[Olivia V.O.] He's coming. Tonight. He's going to be here.
[Jack V.O.] Then I'll be gone. I'm not worried about Pickering.
[Olivia V.O.] Then worry about the estate.
[Jack. V.O.] You mean more to me than that house ever could.
[Olivia V.O.] Well, I care about it, okay? You're meant to have it.
[Jack V.O.] Only there's nothing there to have though, right?
[Olivia V.O.] You don't know that and in Pickering thinks there's more there.
[Jack V.O.] I didn't come to talk about him I came here for you.
Would you just turn it off?
Wait.
No, turn it off.
I should have listened to you.
Jack, I knew you were gonna go.
You did?
Yeah, you've never been able to keep your head clear
around a girl that you like.
I know I thought this one was different.
Well, has she contacted you?
And...?
We can't keep doing this.
It's too complicated and it's just not good timing for either of us.
You have to know that. Please don't try to contact me.
I've made up my mind and I know this is for the best for both of us.
Goodbye, Jack.
I'm sorry.
Why? It's not your fault. I did it.
Well, we can mope around here
and make leftover turkey sandwiches and shop Cyber Monday.
Please?
Or we can roll up our sleeves,
go through the house one more time.
I mean there's gotta be something that we're missing.
Okay, fine. Where do we start?
Instagram. Post the riddle
I mean I guess I have nothing to lose, right?
Yeah, and we'll search the most obvious places first and
work our way through the house.
If there's something here, we are gonna find it.
Okay, we need your help and we need it fast.
I will post the riddle to Instagram as soon as I upload the video.
Use the hashtag Jack and the riddle if you think of anything or if you find anything that
might be helpful.
Let's go.
We're counting on you.

Can Traffic Be Beautiful? - Duration: 3:15.
Houston's a city that's... pretty much defined by freeways.
Everything's everywhere in Houston. There's a great dry cleaner over here,
there's a great place we're going to get food over here... It's a modern city that's designed around the car.
Tell me about this project.
Houston has this big opportunity right now to re-envision the freeway system. A big section of US 59
or I guess it's I-69 now, will be coming down, or being changed. But in the interim
we wanted to look at ways that we could beautify that project. Whatever we do would be temporary.
Tell me about some of the other projects SWA is done for Houston.
I mean one that we're probably the most famous for is the Buffalo Bayou project.
By going in and developing an open space system like that it transformed people's
identity of Houston from just infrastructure in freeways to thinking
more about nature in the city. It's a infrastructure corridor much like the freeway system.
What are some the technical constraints of beautifying Houston's traffic?
How to go about doing something in a really caustic environment.
The vibrations, the noise... everything's kind of this gray color. We
need to think about the fact there's people in cars when they're going down
freeways, oftentimes sitting at a standstill. When you re-frame the idea of
a freeway as a public space it opens up doors for including art as a part of that freeway system.
So, this is a mock-up of the project that we're gonna be doing
along the freeway. What you're looking at it are these chloroplast strips it's like
corrugated plastic. You can see at the bottom there's a little numbers so that
the guys that are installing it are able to get the right piece in the right spot
because when you stand back it creates this image for you.
The first step is creating images.
Take us through some of your artistic decisions for this design process.
There are a lot of technical constraints within the freeway corridor
You can't really put realistic imagery because it becomes a billboard and
becomes really distracting for the drivers. So some of those constraints
safety constraints primarily dictate that we take a literal image and
make it a little bit pixelated a little bit almost difficult to understand. We
use children's photography of the city. At that speed of travel it actually reads really well.
It's essentially a weaving process. You take the strips or
the strings and you pull them through the chain link in a very laborious way.
When you drive down a highway you know in Houston you learn to block out all
the white noise and to see something that's not a billboard and it doesn't
really tell you literally what it is and it's kind of beautiful... hopefully it'll
make their time within that corridor much more enjoyable

You can drive nine hours and still be in Canada | Danny Bhoy - Duration: 1:14.
So, it's lovely to be here in Canada.
This is actually my second time here this year.
I came here earlier on in the year, did a bit of travelling.
Ha. As much as you can travel around Canada.
This place is stupidly big!
If you get in a car here and drive for nine hours,
get out, look at a map, you haven't fucking moved!
What's all that about?
You go, right? We were here, we've driven for NINE HOURS,
we must be somewhere over...
Aw, c'mon! We're still here?!
Are you sure the engine was running?
If you got in a car in Scotland where I'm from and
and drove for nine hours,
you'd be in the heart of the Czech Republic!

How Satellites and Big Data Can Improve the Validity of Climate Change Reporting - Duration: 5:56.
Is uncertainty in climate change data a problem?
I'm Timiebi Aganaba-Jeanty and let's dive into this issue.
The concern is very real that the measurement system for human-induced
climate change just doesn't cut it.
How do we determine these emissions in the first place?
The most commonly used method, particularly for fossil fuel usage,
is the statistical activity data method,
which is based on calculating emissions.
This may be a good approach for developed countries
that have highly advanced statistical information.
But what about developing countries who don't have these systems in existence?
Should we be looking at a measurement approach
to supplement the calculation approach based on statistics?
[OKSANA A. TARASOVA] If you have a measurement site, you have a station,
it measures the concentration of the gas.
What you do, you take this concentration — which is the number of molecules per cubic metre,
so you have so many molecules of CO2 — and then you use the weather forecasting model.
We've done a substantial improvement in the observational methods
and in the inverse modelling methods, which actually allows us
to draw conclusions that are more precise than traditional inventory.
[TIMIEBI AGANABA-JEANTY] The question is: do we need a new methodology to help us determine
how to use atmospheric measurements?
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – the IPCC
– takes the approach of developing methodologies so that
different countries can have an approach that suits their national circumstances.
On the other hand, the problem with this methodological approach,
which gives states a suite of options to choose from,
means that everyone isn't using the same methods.
So, should we then be looking at establishing an international, independent data set?
In essence, one dataset that is the record of truth.
This may create a better basis for comparison and information,
which we could use to determine future climate action.
[OKSANA A. TARASOVA] You cannot put a lot of different numbers which will show different things,
so we have to agree if we accept something else in addition to traditional reporting,
that this something else should be accepted as an international standard,
and then everybody has to follow that international standard.
[TIMIEBI AGANABA-JEANTY] The European Commission are currently working on a
massive global carbon-observing system.
This would integrate satellite data with in situ observations,
as well as statistical data that come from inventories.
The idea behind this is to have a truly independent system
that can support the verification of emissions in national greenhouse gas inventories.
But the Europeans want this to be part of an international system.
This led to the New Delhi Declaration,
which is an agreement between 60 agencies, led by France,
that seeks to get agreement about having this international independent system.
[PASCALE ULTRÉ-GUÉRARD] One of the messages of the New Delhi Declaration was that we have to work all together.
As space agencies, to provide satellites and the good instruments.
And also the scientific community, through research programs
— in order to be able to extract from the measurements of these satellites
and these instruments the good signal, the signal which is interesting.
[TIMIEBI AGANABA-JEANTY] So, we've talked about the science, we've talked about the methods,
we've talked about the data that comes from satellites.
But if the trend is now towards integrated data
— coming from satellites, coming from different sensors, coming from the ground —
we inevitably run into questions of big data.
So, when we now combine the data, do we have a new product?
Should it be regulated in a different way? Who has control over it?
What are the biases that may exist as a result of integration?
And the security implications of an open data policy?
But right now, we're so caught up on the technical dimensions of this integrated data future,
that we're not having discussions of these wider governance and legal concerns.
Most importantly, the modelling community and the satellite community are well-coordinated groups,
but coordinating for the in situ components is a challenge as it's a fragmented community.
So creating a truly global and integrated system will require the correct structure to oversee the coordination.
My paper makes several recommendations,
including that the supporters of the New Delhi Declaration
establish a forum in which these issues can be addressed
and other issues of transparency relevant to the Paris Agreement,
including monitoring, reporting and verification procedures.
This is particularly timely as states are currently negotiating
the rules, modalities and guidelines of the enhanced transparency framework.
These proposed new datasets could even feed into the global stock take,
which measures collective progress towards
the objectives of the Paris Agreement, and will take place in 2023.
The consensus built around the New Delhi Declaration creates the opportunity
to bring several actors together to determine the parameters around such
an independent international system for curbing anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions.

Can Reading in English Help You Improve Your Fluency? Kate Explains - Duration: 4:08.
Denise is here.
Good to see you, Denise.
"What do you think about reading "classic books to improve English?"
This is your topic.
- Yes, this is something I'm really passionate about because I was an English literature
teacher for several years.
And I think that reading is a really interesting way to improve your vocabulary because there's
just so much richer language in novels, so novels are generally a much higher Lexile
level than we speak in conversation.
However, that can be a little bit of a trap in terms of your conversational English because,
a lot of times, there is vocabulary in literature and grammar structures that we don't actually
use in everyday speech.
- Fantastic.
- So, I think that reading is a wonderful way to improve your vocabulary, but it doesn't
always translate into speaking.
One way to kind of get around this when you have enough of a level in English is to look
into audiobooks, and the Lexile level is obviously the same, but you'll actually get a sense
of the rhythm of the language when it's spoken, and so that can help.
Yes.
- Sorry, Lexile level?
- Yes.
- Explain.
- It's just basically, it's kind of an arbitrary-- Not arbitrary, but it's a measure of the level
of vocabulary, the complexity of the language, and the way that it's used.
- It's just like how hard the book is.
- How hard it is, and higher is not always better.
- I agree, I agree.
I made a video on comparing...
I think it was maybe Pride and Prejudice with the original version and the graded reader,
and a graded reader is an adaption of a book for English learners.
- Yeah, so an adaptation that's made just for English learners?
- Exactly.
And a lot of the time, if someone is an English learner...
And maybe you have felt like this too that, "Oh, I don't want something that is adapted,"
but it is very useful for English.
- One thing, which is actually...
I will completely admit this.
I read a lot when I was younger, and so I had a vocabulary level that was a lot higher
than my speaking level, if that makes sense.
- It does.
- And English is one of the only languages where we borrow from so many different languages,
and there's no standard English pronunciation, which I'm sure you have figured out, so when
an English person or a native English speaker reads a word for the first time, they don't
know how to pronounce it, necessarily.
- Exactly.
- So, it's interesting because we take pronunciation rules from so many different languages, which
I think is really fascinating.
So when I was little, I would mispronounce words a lot, especially longer words that
I'd never heard used before, and so that's one way to tell that people have learned a
lot from reading, even native speakers.
- Very good.
That's such a good point on audiobooks.

How a Facelift can Affect Previously Placed Fillers, and Combining Both for Best Results - Duration: 7:35.
Thank you for your question.
You submitted your question without a photo.
And you stated in your question that you had fillers done and you're going to have a
facelift.
And the question is whether you should've done the fillers later or whether the fillers
will be affected or taken out by the facelift.
Well, in the absence of more details, I can just basically give you some general concepts
I think are helpful to you in understanding what the impact of the facelift is on fillers
depending on where they're located as well as what roles fillers have especially in the
context of what a facelift does.
A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial
plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years.
Face lifting surgery and the use of injectable fillers is a routine part of my practice focusing
a lot on facial aging and helping my patients get optimal solutions based on the treatment
plans that make sense for their situation.
So when it comes to face lifting surgery, the principal goal of a facelift is essentially
to lift sagging tissue which means bringing up of the cheek area, improve the jawline
definition, improve the neck angle or neck definition.
Now we understand very well that facial aging is not just sagging but it's also volume
loss.
And volume loss is accentuated or emphasized in the bone structure so bone loss is a very
important part of volume loss which is one of the reasons why I explain to my patients
is that you can be someone in their 60s and 70s and no matter how good your facelift performed,
you're not going to look like somebody in their 20s and 30s.
Now in terms of what's going to happen to the fillers, well fillers are placed at different
levels and for different reasons.
So when you think of the area where the skin is lifted during a facelift, if you had fillers
in those areas, they can certainly be impacted not necessarily directly by the facelift but
also indirectly.
Swelling, fluid, healing can of course affect the effect of those fillers.
Places such as the dermis or the actual skin itself where fillers are often placed will
not necessarily be impacted especially the areas that would be elevated in the flap of
a facelift.
Usually this means placement around the eyes, placement in the under eye area, the lip area.
So it just really depends on where those fillers are placed.
It's also important I think to understand that beyond the face lifting procedure, regardless
of the technique, the technique can be anything from a minimal short scar facelift to a more
extensive face and neck lift with platysmaplasty and more extensive skin removal and dissection.
But in the end, what you are doing is you're restoring the position of the tissue.
What I explain to my patients is once everything is healed, you can decide whether or not you
want to address areas where there's still going to be volume loss.
Typically, this includes the area in the mid face which is the cheek area as well as in
the chin and even the jaw angle.
Patients come to me who have had facelifts done elsewhere and they'll say to me, "You
know, I think the doctor should have tightened me more because I still feel like I don't
see what I want to see."
And I explain to them that the skin has a certain amount of elasticity and that elasticity
will always equilibrate which means that even if the doctor does it as tight as appropriate
and I think that most very competent and facelift surgeons will of course do that, then a certain
amount of stretch will always occur.
Why?
Because the skin has a certain amount of elasticity that is age-related as well as normal movement
whether you turn your head, look up and look down, the skin will stretch.
But the volume loss at the bone level is an area where there's opportunity.
So for example we do something called Structural Volumizing.
And in Structural Volumizing, we actually place the volume at the bone level.
And so by putting it at the bone level, between the bone and the muscle, it could be argued
academically that the filler would less likely to be affected.
We can even do some certain hybrid procedures where you do a limited facelift and you can
place volume at the same time.
That's less common in my practice.
Actually what I do more commonly is combine placement of filler in the cheek area with
eyelid surgery.
So there is a lot of finesse and a matter of what kind of outcome we are interested
in achieving.
But as far as the destiny of the fillers that are already placed, I think it's less likely
that it's relevant because the purpose of the facelift is very different from the goal
of the placement of injectable fillers.
And there is a harmony that can be achieved between these two strategies.
So I wouldn't say that what you did prior is actually going to be wasted but understand
that beyond the facelift, there will also probably be an opportunity especially in areas
which the facelift doesn't address to also still do fillers for the purposes to optimize
your appearance.
So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

Taking These 3 Simple Steps Can Create A Big Shift In Your Life - Duration: 3:32.
Taking These 3 Simple Steps Can Create A Big Shift In Your Life
by Conscious Reminder
Well, all of us want to achieve big things in life, dont we?
And we are often told that all these big things arent going to happen if we just Netflix
and chill.
So what do we need to do?
We need to make big changes in our life in order to be the person that we want to be.
The difficulty is that we dont understand the process of making big life changes.
Yes, we should enjoy the small changes that we make but big changes are necessary!
Here are three steps that you need to take in order to make a big life change:
1.
Be Open To Change
Yes.
This is the first and often the most difficult step.
The fact is that most of us are unable to bring changes in our life because we dont
realise the importance of change.
We dont realise that we cannot always choose to be in comfortable situations.
We cannot always be the way we want to be.
We have to let life happen to us and for that we have to accept the fact that life demands
change from us.
So, be more open to change and accept what life wants from you.
Welcome change and embrace it because change will make you uncomfortable and the time that
you will be uncomfortable, you will learn important life lessons.
If you will be more open to change, the Universe will look after you.
2.
Do the research
Ignorance is not always bliss!
If you want to make some big change, learn more about it.
Read as much as you can about it, try to ask people about their experiences and accumulate
as much knowledge as you can about the change you want to make.
This knowledge will come in handy when you are dealing with that change in your life.
Also, most of the times when we are scared to make changes in our life, doing research
about it will help us to feel that we arent alone.
A lot of people maybe going through the same experiences like us and surely their experiences
and the way they dealt with the change can help and guide us.
3.
Make the decision
Decide to make the change and then act on your decision.
Dont procrastinate.
We always keep thinking that we will make the change from tomorrow and what not.
Well, do it today and now.
Dont put it for tomorrow or some other time.
If you have decided on something then you must totally act on it because actions speak
louder than words.
So, take the leap of faith and make the decision instead of putting it for someday.
Remember, that life is composed of the beautiful moments which happen when we accept the fact
that we must accept change.
You have to risk in order to get something huge.
This is the way the Universe rewards people.
If you wont make changes in your life, you will not become the person that the Universe
wants you to become.

BREAKING Trump Just Made MASSIVE Obamacare Announcement.
Since Congress Cant.I Wil President To Prioritize Healing Healthcare.
Working In A Bold Alliance Sure To Please Grass-Roots Activists
In a startling announcement sent directly to We The People over the presidents
favorite medium of communication, Twitter, Donald Trump teased a solution to one of the
biggest problems plaguing the economy, job market, and general health of Americans nationwide:
Obamacare.Without too many details to go on, whats clear is that the president is planning
to implement some form of Executive Order.
Further, it seems as though the president has found an unlikely ally in the Senate Chamber:
Rand Paul.
In an exciting move, immediately following the presidents tweet on healthcare reform,
Senator Paul quoted and retweeted the president, declaring that he worked with the president
on this decision for months.
The inclusion of this tidbit is intriguing since mainstream media outlets and neoconservative
mouth-breathers on Fox News have been attempting to isolate Paul by claiming that he would
be the biggest obstacle to Trumps reform plans. Not so!
The myth that these shameless propagandists are spreading is now being painted over in
bold colors: Trump and Paul are seemingly allies!Mainstream media operations from Fox
News to the fact-checker owned by Tampa Bay Times (Politifact) have been lying to
the American people for weeks about the relationship between Donald Trump and Rand Paul.
Senator Paul, of course, most recently received the ire of establishment Republicans when
he helped foil the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare overhaul.
This seems to have been the trigger signal to other establishment figures to ostracize
the loyal Kentuckian.
Paul, for his part, has been working hard to see two major reforms pushed into any overhaul.
1.
a removal of the arbitrary state barriers that create oligopolies in the insurance markets,
and 2.
a system that allows for independent Americans to form pools of demand in order to more attractively
court insurance deals from providers.
He refers to this second demand as healthcare associations.
Already, Fox News is announcing that their inside information has cued them in on a coming
executive order to implement these demands at least partly.
However, some are still insisting that the president wants to let the legislative bodies
have one more crack at it.
Whatever ends up being the case, one thing is clear: the next 72 hours will be exhilarating.
Keep an eye out for the presidents tweetsObama had a pen and a phone and so does Trump.
Trumps phone is just 40.3 million times stronger according to his follower account
on social media!

HOW CAN I ACCOMPLISH MY WEIGHT LOSS GOALS FOR 2018? - Duration: 7:10.
Hey guys Abby here and welcome back to my channel inspired to health I'm happy to have you back again
Today I'm talking to you about how to reach your goals in
2018 this is a perfect time to talk about our goals and setting them and how to reach them
Because honestly if your goals are so important to you, and they're worth working towards at all
They're worth working towards now today like let's say you want to lose X amount of pounds by
July of 2018 so you're ready for the beach, whatever
You need to start working on that now not later
You don't want to get to July and be like I wish I would have lost the weight
I wish I would have done something you need to start that now and that can be really overwhelming
When you think about the big goal, and how am I gonna start that now?
That's a lot of pressure, so I want to take that pressure off of you guys
And I want you to not worry so much about July like yes, you want to have that vision of
Your goal and where you want to be at some point
but let's just
Shorten that timeline down a little bit and bring it down to just this week, okay
You have to take inventory of your life, and what exactly needs tweaking in your life
What's one small thing that you can do to help you feel better in order to reach your goals?
Because the reality is if you don't have a strategy of how to reach that goal
And you jump in headfirst, and do everything cold-turkey and it
begins to overwhelm you
It's likely you're gonna crash and burn and some of you have probably already
Experienced that that's why a lot of like hardcore diets and exercise programs fail because you jump in headfirst
not truly prepared for the amount of change that's coming your way and
You crash and you burn because of it and that's a really sad thing because everybody starts out with like good intentions
if you crashed and burned on whatever last diet you did or
Exercise boot camp you went to do not beat yourself up stop stop beating yourself up about it
Because it's it's most likely that
Everybody would crash and burn jumping in headfirst into that so I commend you for having the bravery and the courage
to do it however a
more
Practical way to go about reaching your goal is to take it step by step one day at a time
One day at a time with a manageable goal whether that's one simple goal two or three whatever you feel like you can actually
manage and actually change, and then the following week you tack on a second or a third goal or whatever and
Week by week you start adding them up. There's a science experiment. I remember doing I forget there's some kind of a physics law
Where if you hand someone a pile of books that weigh 50 pounds?
They're not going to be able to lift them if you hand them all at once they're like whoa and they just drop them
However, if you put one book at a time on that person's
hands, and then you stack them 1 1 1 they're more easily able to take the load than they
Would if you just dumped a pile of bricks on them, and that's the same in our health and wellness journey as well
It's much easier to take one small goal at a time reach that
accomplish it feel good mentally about yourself and emotionally about yourself, and then also feel good physically because it helped you and
then
Set the next goal, and if you were working with a dietician. That's what they would have you do
They would have you pick out your number one most
important manageable goal for this week or just
today like I said if you can't focus on the entire week just focus on one day and
That's what you need to look at and
Week by week. You got to keep up with it
That's where the consistency comes in that's where your will comes in now after this week is up. Then next week. What's your next goal?
And if you guys need help with that join a community join a group of people who are gonna help
Hold you accountable to that if you think you can manage more than one goal at a time go for it set to
Manageable goals for your week or maybe or maybe set three manageable goals for your week
So it could maybe be drink more water
It could be I'm gonna work out
for
fifteen to thirty minutes a day at home and
Maybe it's gonna be go to bed at a decent hour
So I get enough sleep based on my schedule and my needs and and for me
That's a lot of change so I think I'm gonna start with water first this week - something
I want to address here is the idea that I've heard about setting small goals
It's gonna bring you small results and I I get that and that makes sense logically
however if you don't have
Stepping stones to get you to where you want to go because where you want to go is too far to take in one step
You have to have micro goals mini
Goals, okay, and baby steps basically if you you call it what you want
But you gotta have those mini micro goals to get you to your ultimate goal. So yes set your big goals
I want you guys to have those because that's our vision and without vision
We are not going anywhere, so you've got to have the vision of where you want to be where you want to go
But you've also got to set some small manageable
bite-sized goals
Micro goals in order to get you to that bigger picture
It's really important. These small little goals like drinking more water
We're going to bed a little bit earlier things like that. We have got to look at these tiny micro goals as
Gifts to ourselves
we have got to believe that we are worth the time and effort that it takes to drink an extra glass or
Water or two we have got to believe that we are worth the time that it takes to go to bed a little bit earlier
If you want some ideas you can absolutely
Comment maybe help each other out and give each other some ideas of simple goals that you can set to help you get started
reaching your goals for
2018 now
Micro goals make sure they're manageable make sure they fit you don't compare yourself to other people and
and then after this week pick a new micro goal and
Do that in addition to this week's micro goal?

This Is Huge!
President Trump Just Opens A $ 971 Million Can Of Whoop-Ass On Washington, Budget Proposes
Killing All Funding For President Trump has expressed his aims of
cutting back the government by dispensing with pointless organizations and representatives
and by trimming consumptions to more reasonable levels.
Whats more, in the event that you could envision, the liberals are shocked.
It shows up the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Endowments for the Arts and
Humanities are two organizations whose subsidizing is bound to be finished under the new budget
proposal.
Hollywood celebs have aroused to the reason in endeavors to mark Trumps proposed spending
cuts as the worst-case-scenario for arts groups. But here are the facts:
However, defunting the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is unlikely to cripple
either PBS or NPR.
NPR received less than 1 percent of its revenue from the CPB, and PBS less than 7 percent,
according to data from 2014 reported in the Washington Post.

Via The Wrap:
President Donald Trump made good on a long-time conservative goal in his first proposed budget
Thursday morning, targeting the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Endowments
for the Arts and Humanities for complete elimination.
Trumps budget would be out of the $ 445 million budget for the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting, a relatively small source of funding for programming and broadcast operations
on public TV stations and NPR radio stations nationwide, per Washington Post.
The budget would also eliminate budgets for both national endowments, which stood at $ 148
million each in 2016, as well as $ 230 million for the Institute of Museum and Library Services,
which supports libraries and museums.
Additional cuts would affect two tourist mainstays in Washington, DC, the Smithsonian Institution
and the National Gallery of Art.
Combined, the four arts organizations account for less than 0.02 percent of the U.S.
Governments $ 3.9 trillion budget.
In 2016, the NEA allocated $ 47 million to 50 states and five jurisdictions, funding
that helped leverage $ 368 million from state governments to support arts organizations
through more than 24,000 grants, according to the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies.
In 2015, funding for the NEA was almost one third of what the U.S. Budget allocated for
military bands.
Cutting financing for these offices is in all likelihood the initial phase in disposing
of the loss over each level of the government, which is definitely required.
The span of the government organization has become comparable with the national obligation
and if America will moderate the plunge towards economic disaster, important penances should
be made.
Public broadcasting and the arts and humanities will simply need to collect help from private
residents, which is not hard to do!

BREAKING: Trump Just Made MASSIVE Obamacare Announcement- "Since Congress Can't…I Will…" - Duration: 3:41.
BREAKING: Trump Just Made MASSIVE Obamacare Announcement- Since Congress CantI
Will President To Prioritize Healing Healthcare!
Working In A Bold Alliance Sure To Please Grass-Roots Activists:
Not so!
The myth that these shameless propagandists are spreading is now being painted over in
bold colors: Trump and Paul are seemingly allies! These people think you are dumb!
They expect you to attack Rand Paul for them instead of setting your targets on people
like John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
Lets take a look at what the president had to say this morning.
Trumps Daily Tweetstorm:
This morning Donald Trump touched on so many topics it would make the most stubborn liberals
headspin.
Opening a multifront war, the president touched on the NFLs tax loophole, the tax system
as a whole, immigration policy, the anti-American ESPN, and most impressively a threat to reform
Obamacare with an executive order.Mainstream Media Attempts To Hurt The Paul-Trump Alliance
Mainstream media operations from Fox News to the fact-checker owned by Tampa Bay
Times (Politifact) have been lying to the American people for weeks about the relationship
between Donald Trump and Rand Paul.
Senator Paul, of course, most recently received the ire of establishment Republicans when
he helped foil the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare overhaul.
This seems to have been the trigger signal to other establishment figures to ostracize
the loyal Kentuckian.
Paul, for his part, has been working hard to see two major reforms pushed into any overhaul:
1.
a removal of the arbitrary state barriers that create oligopolies in the insurance markets,
and 2.
a system that allows for independent Americans to form pools of demand in order to more attractively
court insurance deals from providers.
