Now there's no excuse for bad holiday pics! Maldives hotel offers an 'Instagram Butler' to help guests take perfect photos (and the results are stunning)

The advent of social media has heaped pressure on holidaymakers to take better pictures.

So one five-star venue in the Maldives has offered - in whats possibly a world first - some help, in the form of Instagram butlers.

 These are knowledgeable team members who will show guests the very best places to take photographs and guide them around Instagram Trails, itineraries that take in some of the prime spots for envy-inducing image creation, from restaurants to dreamy atolls.

The hotel in question is the five-star Conrad Hilton Resort on the island of Rangali.

And the results, as MailOnline Travel reveals, are rather effective.

For photographers hoping to capture the magical 'golden hour', a term used to describe the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset, the 'Instagram Butler' will teach guests how to perfect that dream shot, with factors such as the optimum time of day and the best position to pinpoint their phones or cameras taken into consideration.

Guests can also take a yoga class directed by the resort's resident scholar, where theyll be taught the best poses to capture on camera.

The butlers also reveal how to take great shots in the hotels world-first all-glass undersea restaurant, Ithaa.

Other photographic activities include watching and capturing shooting stars, shooting food with celebrity chef Jereme Leung and framing atolls on an island-hopping tour.

To prove how effective the service is, the hotel has released photographs taken by guests who used it.

One, Alison Wright, snapped a woman balancing along a palm trees trunk, just a few feet above the waves.

Another Instagram Butler-generated shot is of a bikini-clad beauty relaxing on an Undholi - a traditional Maldivian swing - whilst gazing out over the Indian Ocean, which stretches before her.

A third snap shows the silhouette of a woman leaping into the skyline of a bright-orange sunset, while another captures a dramatic yoga pose.

Theres also a fetching snap of restaurant Ithaa.

Together, the photographs offer proof that a little direction goes a long way.

Leanne Ratcliffe, who goes by Freelee the Banana Girl on social media, has racked up more than 400,000 followers on Instagram. She often shares snaps of her delectable diet and toned abs, but the fitness fan hasn't always felt happy and healthy.

The 37-year-old recently shared a throwback snap to demonstrate the changes her body has gone through since switching from eating paleo to a raw vegan diet.

Leanne said the change helped her to drop 2st 12lbs of body fat and cleared up a host of health problems she had been suffering from.

She said: "On the left I was eating a #paleodiet, low carbs with excess protein and fat causing a bunch of terrible health problems.

"40lbs of excess weight lost in total and (most importantly) kept off for years" Freelee the Banana Girl "At an age where I should have been my happiest and healthiest I was constantly depressed, lethargic, had CFS and irritable bowel syndrome (which I saw at least 3 expensive specialists for), brittle nails, constant thrush, cystic acne and low thyroid function to name a few.

"On the right on #rawtill4 & #rawvegan LIFESTYLE honestly feeling better than ever.

40lbs of excess weight lost in total and (most importantly) kept off for years, healed digestive system, skin, hormones, no longer depressed and fitter at 37 years old than I was at 20.".

She added: "But there is a lot of I, me, my in this post. Easily the most powerful and satisfying change has been the fact that I no longer take the life of innocent beings for my meals.

"I no longer eat my friends or byproducts that cause them pain and suffering. Please never forget the voiceless victims of your meals." Leanne swears by her "raw until 4" lifestyle which sees her eat cold, uncooked food until late afternoon.

Read brand backstories and product reviews, then share with a friend so you can both amp up your wardrobe.  Easy to wear and suitable for nearly everything in your closet, the ballet flat is a classic thats not going anywhere.

The essential proved the perfect entry point for Alexa Buckley and Sarah Pierson, who decided to cast careful consideration on the basic when developing Margaux. Launched in 2015 with an almond-toe flat, the brand has since expanded to offer multiple versions.

The classic, rounded ballet skimmer, yes, but also other shoe types: a pointed toe, slingbacks, and a court heel. A made-to-measure option allows for those with hard-to-fit feet, or a significant size difference from left to right, to find the perfect fit.

Prices start at $125 for the Demi, a rounded, drawstring-tied style that most closely resembles classic dance slippers.

  Margaux's 2.5-inch heel retails for $245.

All styles are available in a narrow, medium, or wide width, a relatively rare experience when buying shoes. Thoughtful construction at the toe box and front tip also fight the too-worn crease that can plague flimsy styles.

Our verdict? Noticeably better than the chain-store styles weve slipped on, these feel as if theyll stand up to commuting wear-and-tear.

Where did the idea first come from?.

SP: We serendipitously met at a cab stand just weeks into our freshman year [at Harvard], and we were friends at first sight. We became roommates the following year and lived together for the rest of our college career.

It wasnt until our senior year, however, that we began dreaming up our vision for Margaux..

AB: During the summers we spent interning in the corporate world, we experienced the unfortunate shoe-shuffle so many women endure and felt like there had to be a better way.

We were convinced that there could be a shoe that looked as beautiful as it felt: One that wouldnt just get us to where we were going, but that we actually wanted to wear when we arrived.

So, we set out to create the perfect wear-everywhere shoe for today's modern woman and along the way, to redefine the way that shoes are sized and sold..  Margaux founders Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley.

 Whats the journey of building your brand been like?. AB: At the heart of it is a recognition of a need—that women needed shoes designed just as much for fit as they were for style—and a laser-sharp focus on achieving that goal.

Weve taken a measured approach to expanding our product line, introducing one silhouette at a time and only when its as close to perfect as possible.

And we constantly collect feedback, giving us a direct line to comments, suggestions, and requests from our very loyal customer base. The result is that weve earned their trust..

SP: Internally, we've surrounded ourselves with exceptional individuals, who have lent their time and talent to realizing our vision.

Having entered the consumer world with little previous experience (none, actually), weve relied on those who are best-in-class in their respective fields to lend their perspective and guidance to our larger vision.

In doing so, weve been able to accomplish more than we could have on our own.. How has Instagram affected your business? Do you have a particular strategy for using it?.

AB: As a digitally-native brand, its been a powerful tool for acquiring new customers, [and weve had] the ability to build out the Margaux world through this intensely visual platform.

To us, Margaux is about so much more than the products we create, and Instagram provides us with the opportunity to give context to our vision and depth to our brand.. SP: We've learned that its key to plan ahead.

Now that were a bit more seasoned, we try to plan our content days, even weeks, in advance, allowing us to build broader narratives over longer periods of time, while still sharing everyday moments, launches, and events..
