OK, so what is a firework?

(deep breath) Well...

Fireworks are...

They're like things that you shoot at like the Fourth of July like (explosion sound).

They like go up in the sky and explode!

They go (explosion sounds).

Like that.

Fireworks is really loud.

It hurts your ears.

They're cool, but sometimes they can be a little scary.

But when I'm trying to sleep, they're really noisy.

I like how they pop into the air.

They smell weird.

We saw a heart...upside down heart firework.

What was that like?

It was almost like a heart but it was upside down.

Are fireworks dangerous?

They are dangerous if you get close to them.

If they're pointing the wrong way, they could go towards someone's house and blow it up.

If the firework doesn't go up all the way, it could hit somebody.

If you don't shoot them right, it could just go toward somebody and then explode on them.

(rocket sound) And what if the firework malfunctions and it goes...

(rocket sound) (explosion sound)

If you get to close to them, you might...um...you don't know what's gonna happen and you might pop.

Have you ever shot off fireworks at your house?

Yeah.

And how did that go?

Not so well.

Was anybody hurt?

No. They were fine.

Someone just had to stop, drop, and roll.

If you saw other kids playing with fireworks, what would you say to them?

Like, you could get...you could get hurt.

Stop. They're gonna hurt you.

We need an adult to watch us because they can be dangerous.

Um..that's too...hard for...that's too....uh, like...kids...

Don't play with the fire works!

They are very dangerous!

You are not doing that!

Don't say that!

I don't like it!

Idon't think so!

I don't think so!

Hello. Holiday season is coming and you may want to go to a fireworks show, and that's our

preference...go to a professional show, it's much safer.

But if you choose to stay home and use fireworks, please make sure you have a water hose or

a bucket of water nearby, that you use good safety habits when you use fireworks, be on

a concrete area away from vegetation and structures.

Be safe!

Tim Minchin talks about his song 'Come Home (Cardinal Pell)' - Duration: 1:44.

Last year I did this song about Cardinal Pell,

which is the most overt piece of activism I've ever done

and it had an impact I didn't see coming at all.

[singing] "Come home Cardinal Pell,

[singing] "we know you're not feeling well,

[singing] "perhaps you just need some sun."

[interviewer] What were you hoping to achieve

Well, to express anger and to get people

laughing at something very, very awful.

But also it was very, very deliberate.

The most powerful Catholic in Australia is Cardinal Pell.

The Royal Commission asked him to come back

to Australia to answer questions

and he said he was too sick to come,

and that didn't seem quite right.

[singing] "You're a coward Georgie,

[singing] "Come and face the music Georgie.

[singing] "You owe it to the victims Georgie.

[singing] "Come and face the music…"

I wrote to raise money to send survivors to Rome

to listen to him, to look him in the eye

while he was giving these answers.

And it worked. It worked in a way I wouldn't have believed.

There was an unbelievable amount of hate as well,

But much, much more vindication than criticism.

[singing] "Go home Cardinal Pell."

I'm proud of it. People come up to me in tears

in Australia all the time.

The damage done is immeasurable.

[singing] "Cardinal Pell,

[singing] "if you don't feel compelled to come home

[singing] "by a sense of moral duty

[singing] "perhaps you will come home and frickin sue me!"

Simon added: He just wanted to give Tyla a shot. I told him to go for it in the first place, no disrespect to Camilla, I said he should give her a shot.

He didnt look like he was going to take the opportunity so I thought I would end up moving in on Tyla even though I knew Jonny was more Tylas type.

It sort of backfired a bit when Jonny stepped up after I chose her but I always said Id never be in competition with Jonny over anything.

It just unfolded in a way that meant that I got dumped from the Island. It was quite unlucky really..

Everything You Need to Know About Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy (Games 101) - Duration: 2:09.

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is set to launch on June 30th, bringing a remastered

collection of the first three Crash games to PlayStation 4.

That's Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot

3: Warped, all remade, packaged together, and sold for $40.

Developer Vicarious Visions has taken the original game's level geometry and gameplay

mechanics, exactly as you remember them, and then layered improvements to presentation

and quality of life over the top.

The visual boost can clearly be seen here, and those playing on a PS4 Pro will enjoy

an enhanced resolution of 1440p upscaled to 4K.

However, both PlayStation consoles will still be limited to 30fps.

The quality of life improvements comprise of a unified checkpointing and save game system.

Both manual and auto-saving can be used.

There's also a unified menu system, which keeps things constant between the three games.

What's more, Time Trials can be found across the entire collection.

Fans of Crash's sister, Coco, will be ecstatic to hear that she's playable across the entire

N.Sane Trilogy.

She has a fresh new look and her own set of "N.Sane Attacks."

With Naughty Dog having moved on from making Crash Bandicoot to creating big blockbusters

like Uncharted and The Last of Us, it's great to hear that the studio that started

it all, approves of Crash's new look.

Evan Wells, Naughty Dog's president, praised Vicarious Visions for the "amazing care

[taken] in maintaining the feel and soul of the originals," while bringing "the visuals

up to modern day standards."

Though the N.Sane Trilogy is coming to PS4 and PS4 Pro first, it's looking likely that

other platforms will get to enjoy the game, too.

So Xbox One owners feeling green with envy, can maybe relax a little.

If you are picking it up on PlayStation, note the not one, not two, but three Platinum Trophies.

That's one for each game!

Also, if you are pre-ordering digitally, look out for the free pre-order themes and avatars.

That's everything you need to know about the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

Will you be picking it up?

Dimitri finds out about European election results - Duration: 0:44.

What is your opinion about Europe's current political climate?

I am worried about the resurgence

of far-right nationalism in Europe.

I am a hard-working Polish immigrant,

I work hard for my paycheck,

I pay my share of taxes, I'm a net contributor to this country.

I don't want to get deported just because of my nationality.

But none of the euroskeptic parties got more than 20%

Huh?

Excluding V4, none of the populists won more than 20% of parliament seats.

20%?

None of them got more than 20%?

The mainstream media exaggerated their importance.

10 Common Questions and Answers about Electrical Earthing System - Duration: 4:26.

Electrical Earthing or grounding provides the safety of the personnel from the electric

shock.

It insures that the non currents carrying parts, such as equipment frames are always

safe at ground potential even though the insulation fails.

In this video are some of the questions of Electrical Earthing system, you may be asked

at a job interview, including a few technical questions to get you started.

If you like our video, so please subscribe our channel Learning Engineering.

Question no.

1.

Why do we need earthing?

Earthing is used to protect you from an electric shock.

It does this by providing a path for a fault current to flow to earth.

It also causes the protective device either a circuit-breaker or fuse to switch off the

electric current to the circuit that has the fault.

Question no.

2.

What is ground in a circuit?

A ground is a direct electrical connection to the earth, a connection to a particular

point in an electrical or electronic circuit, or an indirect connection that operates as

the result of capacitance between wireless equipment and the earth or a large mass of

conductive material.

Question no.

3.

How does grounding work?

You see current flows from the panel to the outlet or device to power it up.

The neutral wire is the return path for unused current.

In that instant, the short would cause the current to flow through the ground wire, causing

a fuse to blow or a circuit breaker to trip.

Question no.

4.

How does earthing work in electricity?

A difference can occur when either current is flowing down the earth wire or through

someone's body to ground, and back to the neutral point through the earthing system.

Electricity flows only when the circuit is complete.

And our body is a great conductor of Current.

So electricity will flow through body to ground.

More information about earthing system, so visit www.learningengnr.com

Question no.

5.

What is an earth bond?

Earth bonding is the act of connecting all metallic objects in a room, or house, to 'electrical

earth'; usually a gas and\or water pipe.

Gas and water pipes run through the earth so are connected to the same earth, eventually,

as the electrical earth of an electrical circuit.

Question no.

6.

What is TT earthing?

The fault loop impedance is higher, and unless the electrode impedance is very low indeed,

a TT installation should always have an RCD as its first isolator.

The big advantage of the TT earthing system is the reduced conducted interference from

other users' connected equipment.

Question no.

7.

What is the purpose of an electrical ground?

Distribution power systems may be solidly grounded, with one circuit conductor directly

connected to an earth grounding electrode system.

Alternatively, some amount of electrical impedance may be connected between the distribution

system and ground, to limit the current that can flow to earth.

Question no.

8.

What is the earth wire used for?

The earth wire creates a safe route for the current to flow through if the live wire touches

the casing.

You would get an electric shock if the live wire inside an appliance, such as a cooker,

came loose and touched the metal casing.

This breaks the fuse and disconnects the appliance.

Question no.

9.

What is a ground wire used for?

The Ground Wire.

The term ground refers to a connection to the earth, which acts as a reservoir of charge.

A ground wire provides a conducting path to the earth which is independent of the normal

current-carrying path in an electrical appliance.

Question no.

10.

What do you connect the ground wire to?

If a metal box was used, the box itself should be grounded.

The bracket that holds the light would then be connected to the box, which would make

the bracket grounded.

Finally the ground wire from the fixture would attach to the bracket, grounding the fixture.

This Man Changed Everything We Know About Sneakers - Duration: 4:09.

I could give a sh*t less about the currect state of fashion.

What is that one particular cool thing.

I don't think anybody can say that anymore.

Fashion is in

the coolest time ever

because of accessibility,

and that equally makes it

the worst time

beacuse

of all this never ending

chaos of information

to keep up with forever changing trends

to keep up with social media.

I could sit here and try to act like I know what's going on with the industry

and the fashion world,

but I really truly think that nobody knows what's happening right now.

My name is Chad Muska, and I'm a skateboarder and a creator.

I think if I had to explain to somebody, what it is I do,

it would be a different answer each day.

I wake up,

I think,

and I create.

Everyday.

What do you create?

I create….

I create.

From the beginning like, I was always like, as soon as I was able to like, have my name

on a board or on a shirt, or anything like, I've always wanted to be very involved with

that process.

And when they asked me if I wanted to have a shoe, I was so hyped, you know, and that's

when I started to sketch concepts and gather some things I was inspired by.

So this was my first shoe that I had out on ES footwear.

Sometime around '96 I would say.

It was just the Muska shoe.

I just started kind of coming up with concepts and sketching some ideas, and then got to work.

So there's a stash pocket in the tongue.

I was inspired by like, roos, kangaroos.

I don't know if you remember those.

They had the little stash on the side.

And I always thought that was cool as a kid, seeing those, I was like "ah, it got a little

pocket on there."

And, amongst other uses for it, it became the birth of the stash pocket.

So from the success of the ES shoe, sponned circa basically,

And it was sort of just the evolution of kind of where I left off.

The idea was to, create the most technical skate shoe ever.

So we had like, airbags in the back and there was an airbag in the front even as well.

This was kind of new at the time, like, bonding the rubber to the toe.

This was a fun time in shoe design for me because not only did we start this company

from scratch, but the ability to create anything that I wanted to come up with at this time

was there.

And there was really not a lot of resistance.

This is the skytop one.

Now looking at this shoe it looks fairly simple.

Doesn't look like anything special.

But at the time, in skateboarding kind of stirred up a lot of thing just based on the

height alone.

Skinny jeans had been hittin', but the high top didn't really hit with it.

And I just, kinda saw that as a cool look.

Not only looking at it as like, a shoe, but thinking, how does that shoe apply from a

head to toe look.

The first season it came out, it was like, not happening.

I heard stories of sales reps going into shops and not even taking it out.

I felt a lot of doubt from a lot of people on

And I had heard my other friend hit me up and was like, "holy sh*t, Kanye West just

came into supreme and bought some of those,

bought your kicks."

And I was like "no, that's crazy, like, no way."

This photo circulated and I was like "Oh sh*t Jay-Z's rocking them," and then some

other video came up and then like,

from there it was just like, all of a sudden, it was just like, pretty much overnight,

just everywhere.

You know, Slash had them on, and then it was like, Heidi Klum had them on, the Olsen Twins,

and this and like, Just this random mix of people, you know and

not to mention all the rappers, then into the Justin Bieber's, uh,

Lil' Wayne, and I just ran right…

I just couldn't believe it, I just, you know, it was like wow, it was just…

Insane.

There's a lot that goes on to a company, you know, it's not just, make a T shirt

and sell it.

They see the success, but they don't see all those things that went into making that

success.

The years of work and the years of failure.

Never stop working at what you love to do, but also know that like, there will be a lot

of disappointment along the way in order to be successful and then once your successful,

that's not where,

Your, your job stops, that's where it begins.
