The End Of The (Petro)Dollar: What The Federal Reserve Doesnt Want You To Know

The United States ability to maintain its influence over the rest of the world has been

slowly diminishing.

Since the petrodollar was established in 1971, U.S. currency has monopolized international

trade through oil deals with the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)

and continuous military interventions.

There is, however, growing opposition to the American standard, and it gained more support

recently when several Gulf states suddenly blockaded Qatar, which they accused of funding

terrorism.

Despite the mainstream narrative, there are several other reasons why Qatar is in the

crosshairs.

Over the past two years, it conducted over $86 billion worth of transactions in Chinese

yuan and has signed other agreements with China that encourage further economic cooperation.

Qatar also shares the worlds largest natural gas field with Iran, giving the two countries

significant regional influence to expand their own trade deals.

Meanwhile, uncontrollable debt and political divisions in the United States are clear signs

of vulnerability.

The Chinese and Russians proactively set up alternative financial systems for countries

looking to distance themselves from the Federal Reserve.

After the IMF accepted the yuan into its basket of reserve currencies in October of last year,

investors and economists finally started to pay attention.

The economic power held by the Federal Reserve has been key in financing the American empire,

but geopolitical changes are happening fast.

The United States reputation has been tarnished by decades of undeclared wars, mass surveillance,

and catastrophic foreign policy

One of Americas best remaining assets is its military strength, but its useless

without a strong economy to fund it.

Rival coalitions like the BRICS nations arent challenging the established order head on

and are instead opting to undermine its financial support.

Qatar is just the latest country to take steps to bypass the U.S. dollar.

Russia made headlines in 2016 when they started accepting payments in yuan and took over as

Chinas largest oil partner, stealing a huge market share from Saudi Arabia in the

process.

Iran also dropped the dollar earlier this year in response to President Trumps travel

ban.

As the tide continues to turn against the petrodollar, eventually even our allies will

start to question what best serves their own interests.

Many E.U. member states are clashing with the unelected leadership in Brussels over

immigration, terrorism, and austerity measures.

If no solutions are found and things deteriorate, other countries could potentially follow the

U.K.s lead and vote to leave, as well.

It is starting to become obvious that countries in Eastern Europe will look to the East to

get the resources their economies need.

China, Russia, and India are all ahead of the curve and started stockpiling gold years

ago.

They recognize that hard assets will be the measure of true wealth in the near future

 not fiat money.

The historic hyperinflation that has occurred in these countries solidified the importance

of precious metals in their monetary systems.

Unfortunately, most Americans are ignorant of the past and will likely embrace more government

bailouts and money printing when faced with the next recession.

Even Fed officials have admitted that more quantitative easing is likely the only path

going forward.

Several renowned investors have warned about this ongoing shift of economic power from

West to East, but bureaucrats and central bankers refuse to admit how serious things

could get.

The impact on the average person could be devastating if they are not properly educated

and prepared for the fallout.

Economist and author James Rickards summarized why China and Russia are so interested in

acquiring precious metals:

They are stuck with their dollars.

They fear, rightly, that the US will inflate its way out of its $19 trillion mountain of

debt.

Chinas solution is to buy gold.

If dollar inflation emerges, Chinas Treasury holdings will devalue, but the dollar price

of its gold will soar.

A large gold reserve is a prudent diversification.

Russias motives are geopolitical.

Gold is the model 21st century weapon for financial wars. The US controls dollar payments

systems and, with help from European allies, can eject adversaries from the international

payments system called Swift.

Gold is immune to such assaults.

Physical gold in your custody cannot be hacked, erased, or frozen.

Moving gold is a simple way for Russia to settle accounts without US interference.

Mainstream pundits will continue to distract the public with the same optimistic talking

points, but taking advantage of this calm before the storm is important.

As this transition takes place, central bankers will sacrifice anything and everything to

keep their Ponzi scheme going.

Only individuals can take the initiative to protect themselves and be able to help others

who wont be as lucky.

Those who embrace sound money and cryptocurrencies will thrive in this new competitive global

economy, but if America fails to adapt, the same fiat system that gave it power will drag

it into poverty.

What You Need To Know Before Eating Velveeta Cheese - Duration: 5:23.

No matter how much your tastes have evolved from the time you were eating school lunches,

Velveeta probably has a special place in your list of guilty pleasures.

Despite its unnatural color and questionable texture, there's no denying that magic happens

when you melt it.

Here's a look at the untold truth of Velveeta.

The ultimate leftover

Velveeta wasn't so much discovered as it was invented, and even stranger is the fact that

it's actually the second cheese invented by Swiss immigrant Emil Frey.

In 1889, Frey was tasked by the Monroe Cheese Company with creating a domestic alternative

to the imported cheese called Bismarck, and he came up with a wildly popular spreadable

cheese called Liederkranz.

In 1918, the company went back to him and asked him to solve a new problem.

The company had a lot of Swiss cheese they couldn't sell because the cheese wheels were

damaged, and they didn't just want to throw the leftovers in the trash.

So they challenged Frey to come up with a product that used these cheese scraps.

After some experimentation he came up with a product with such a velvety texture that

they named it Velveeta.

Frankenstein's cheese wheel

So how did Frey invent Velveeta?

Well, the secret is in some weird cheese-based science.

Usually when you melt cheese, the milk proteins in it called caseins don't mix with water,

so they separate into an oily mess.

But Frey had read the research of some Swiss cheese gurus who had success adding sodium

citrate to the cheese to keep that from happening, so he added in some whey and went all Dr.

Frankenstein, engineering what became Velveeta.

Kraft actually describes the genesis of Velveeta as reversing the process that made cheese

in the first place, then stopping at a point before it breaks down completely

Super food?

During the 1930's, the U.S. was caught in the grips of the Great Depression.

With the average family food budget around $9 a week, and millions subsisting on even

less, Americans turned to cost cutting measures.

Milk was expensive, for instance, while Velveeta was not.

And since by 1931 the American Medical Association was hyping Velveeta as a superfood filled

with nutritional goodness, the manufactured cheese's popularity soared as families searched

for cost effective dietary solutions.

Rutgers University even did a study confirming the AMA's belief that Velveeta included everything

needed for "firm flesh."

Of course, nutritional knowledge has changed over the years, and nowadays a one pound brick

of Velveeta looks positively terrifying.

Each block contains 16 servings, and each serving has 80 calories, 6 grams of fat including

4 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of carbs including 2 grams from sugars, and a whopping

410 milligrams of sodium.

And with all that you're only getting 15% of your daily recommended dose of calcium,

making Velveeta a distinctly guilty pleasure.

Do not try this at home

By the 1940's Velveeta was a national staple, especially once milk and cheddar cheese began

being rationed during World War II.

Kraft decided to help out America's homemakers by publishing a bunch of recipes involving

Velveeta.

The results were… mixed, at best.

As in, weird foods randomly mixed with Velveeta, like a Hawaiian inspired platter that involved

bread, pineapple, peanut butter, Velveeta... and a maraschino cherry?

"I can't believe I ate that whole thing."

That seems downright normal compared to items like the Velveeta jelly omelet or the Velveeta

strata casserole - which is basically bread and Velveeta baked with eggs, milk and more

jelly.

Maybe just stick to nachos next time.

All the President's cheese

One person who loved Kraft's crazy Velveeta recipes was President Lyndon B. Johnson.

During his time in the White House in the 1960's, Johnson frequently hosted down home

style Texas barbecues, complete with Velveeta queso dip.

"When you add liquid gold Velveeta to Ro-tel tomatoes and zesty chilies, you get a queso

so good, you'll blow em away."

In 1976, his widow Lady Bird Johnson contributed the Presidential recipe to a San Antonio cookbook,

and in 2005, the Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball, which celebrated fellow Texan George

W. Bush's election to a second term, published a guide to Texas-style hospitality that included

a suggestion of ordering 300 pounds of Velveeta.

Now that's a party!

Velveeta intolerant

It's not easy being lactose-intolerant.

Since dairy is right out, that means cheese is too… but Velveeta isn't technically cheese,

so that should be acceptable, right?

Actually, it turns out the opposite is true.

There are some cheeses that are generally more acceptable for people with lactose intolerance,

such as Camembert and Muenster, which contain less than 2 percent lactose.

Velveeta, on the other hand, contains a whopping 9.3 percent lactose, making it the worst cheese

you can have if you're lactose intolerant.

The new Depression

Even though modern health guides indicate Velveeta is far from the healthy super food

they believed back in the Depression, sales haven't dropped.

In fact, they've soared in recent years, leading to the great cheesepocalypse of 2014, when

Velveeta was suddenly in short supply around the country.

Between 2013 and 2014 alone, sales jumped an incredible 23.7 percent.

The reason?

Unfortunately, it's for the same reason Velveeta became popular in the first place, as Kraft

revealed that most of the sales are coming from discount outlets where increasingly impoverished

families are scrounging for cheaper food.

At least the next Depression will be smothered in velvety melted yumminess.

What is more important as people age: mental health or physical health? - Duration: 6:14.

>> HELLO, EVERYONE.

NOW, THERE ARE A LOST THINGS

TO THINK ABOUT WHEN WE AGE

OR AS OUR LOVED ONES AGE.

SOMETIMES WE EXPERIENCE

THINGS THAT CONCERN US, BUT

WE'RE NOT SURE WHAT TO DO

ABOUT IT OR HOW TO ADDRESS

IT.

MANAGING MENTAL HEALTH MAY

BE ONE OF THOSE.

DR. JANAKA SARATHCHANDRA IS

HERE TO TALK TO US ABOUT

THAT.

SOME PEOPLE A NOTE

ICING

SOMETHING.

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT,

MENTAL OR PHYSICAL HEALTH?

>> THEY GO HAND IN HAND,

THEY'RE EQUALLY IMPORTANT,

BUT WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS,

BECAUSE OF THE STIGMA

AGAINST MENTAL HEALTH,

PEOPLE TEND TO IGNORE THAT

SIDE OF THE ISSUE,

ESPECIALLY IN THE ELDERLY,

IN MOST CASES, THEY TRY NOT

TO FORGET OR IGNORE ABOUT

HYPERTENSION OR DIABETES,

BUT BECAUSE OF THAT STIGMA,

THEY TEND TO HIDE OR SHY

AWAY FROM MY MENTAL HEALTH

ISSUES.

THAT'S REALLY LED TO A HUGE

RISE IN SUICIDE RATES IN

ESPECIALLY THE 65 AND OVER

AGE GROUP AS COMPARED TO

OTHER AGE GROUPS, WHICH IS

OF BIG CONCERN NOW.

>> THAT'S EXACTLY WHY WE'RE

TALKING ABOUT IT, TO GET THE

WORD OUT TO A BROADER

AUDIENCE.

WHAT ARE COMMON MENTAL

HEALTH ISSUES THAT YOU'VE

SEEN?

>> MOST ARE JUST THE SAME AS

FOR ANY OTHER PERSON.

YOU GET THE DEPRESSION, THE

ANXIETY, THE PANIC ATTACKS,

AND THEN TRAUMATIC STRESS

DISORDERS.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT IS THE SET

OF UNIQUE STRESSES THE

ELDERLY FACE.

AS YOU A YOU LOSE

INDEPENDENCE, YOU MIGHT MOVE

INTO AN ASSISTED LIVING

FACILITY, OR YOUR FRIENDS

PASS AWAY.

THESE ARE AMONG THE

DISORDERS THEY FACE.

ANOTHER THAT'S UNIQUE AND

MORE SEEN IS THE DEMENTIAS,

THE ALZHEIMER'S AND THE

PARKINSON'

PARKINSON'S DEMENTIAS.

>> DO YOU THINK SOME PEOPLE

THINK IT'S NATURAL, IT'S A

PART OF LIFE THAT I'M

FEELING THIS WAY, DO YOU

THINK THAT HINDERS THEM FROM

GETTING HELP?

>> GOOD POINT.

IT'S A HUGE MISCONCEPTION

THAT WE ARE TO EXPECT

COGNITIVE DECLINE ORDEPRE

DEPRESSION.

THAT'S ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.

WE ARE LIVING LONGER DUE TO

ADVANCEMENTS IN MEDICAL

HEALTH.

OUR BRAIN AGES, BUT IT'S

ONLY AT HIGHER RISK FOR THE

BRAIN NOT TO FUNCTION AS

WELL, SO WE'RE NOT -- WE

SHOULDN'T BE EXPECTING IT TO

BE A NORMAL OCCURRENCE; IT'S

AT A HIGHER RISK FOR

COGNITIVE DECLINE OR THE

DEPRESSIONS.

>> I LOVE THAT WE'RE

BREAKING DOWN THESE MYTHS, I

THINK ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE,

PEOPLE MAY ASSUME IF YOU

HAVE PROBLEMS WITH

ABUSING -- WHETHER IT'S

PRESCRIPTION OR DRUGS OR

DRINKING -- IS THAT SUPPOSED

TO JUST DECLINE AS YOU AGE,

OR TAPERS OFF, IS THAT A

MISCONCEPTION?

>> THAT IS AS WELL.

IT'S NOT NECESSARILY TRUE.

THERE ARE TWO SETS OF

SUBSTANCE ABUSERS.

THE ONES WHO STARTED WHEN

THEY WERE YOUNG, THEY KEEP

ABECAUSIN

E IN

IN

E IN

IN

E IN

ING -- ABUSING

ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.

THE LATE-ON SET IS THE

CONCERNING GROUP.

IT'S NOT UNUSUAL TO SEE THE

ELDERLY GET INTO SUBSTANCES.

THE OFFICE OF ALCOHOL AND

SUBSTANCES, THEY ESTIMATE 17

PERCENT OF THOSE OVER 65

PERCENT OR OVER ARE ABUSING

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, WHICH

GOES INTO THE OPIOID PROBLEM

WE ARE SEEING IN THE NATION.

>> IF SOMEBODY IS ABUSING

SOMETHING, BUT SOMETHING

THAT'S VERY SUBTLE THAT

PEOPLE DON'T ADDRESS IS

MAYBE WE'RE FEELING --

THEY'RE KIND OF ISOLATING

THEMSELVES.

CAN THAT BE A RED FLAG?

>> IT COULD BE.

IF SOMEONE HAS ALWAYS BEEN

ISOLATED AND THAT'S THEIR

PERSONALITY, THEN THAT'S

DIFFERENT, BUT AS LOVED

ONES, FRIENDS, WE SHOULD ASK

OURSELVES IF IT'S A BIG

DIFFERENCE IN HOW THEY USED

TO BE, AND THAT COULD BE A

BIG CLUE TO AN UNDERLYING

MENTAL HEALTH DISORDER AND

SHOULD BE FURTHER

INVESTIGATED.

>> NOW THAT WE HAVE COVERED

THESE THINGS, WHAT DO WE DO

IF WE FIND OURSELVES OR

SOMEBODY THAT WE LOVE GOING

THROUGH ANY OF THESE?

>> FIRST AND FOREMOST, START

A DIALOGUE.

BUT THAT'S ALSO THE MOST

DIFFICULT THING.

>> YEAH.

>> BECAUSE OF THE STIGMA

THAT'S INVOLVED, IT MAKES IT

DIFFICULT TO START A

DIALOGUE.

BUT YOU'LL BE SURPRISED TO

KNOW THAT IN MOST CASES,

STARTING THAT DIALOGUE IS A

HUGE RELIEF FOR THEM, TO

KNOW THAT PEOPLE CARE ABOUT

THEM.

IT'S LIKE A BURDEN THAT'S

LIFTED OFF OF THEM.

ANOTHER THING PEOPLE CAN

DO -- THAT CAN BE A

LIFE-SAVING MEASURE, IN MOST

CASES.

ANOTHER IS TALK TO THEIR

PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN, TALK

ABOUT WHAT YOU'VE NOTICED,

YOUR CONCERNS.

THEY CAN TRY TO CONNECT

THEIR LOVED ONES WITH

ELDERLY SERVICES LIKE MEALS

ON WHEELS OR SENIOR CENTERS.

PSYCHOLOGY OR COUNSELING IS

AVAILABLE, OR PSYCHOLOGISTS

WHO SPECIALIZE IN

GERIATRICS.

>> THANK YOU SO MUCH.

>> THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

>> THIS WAS AMAZING.

HEALTH ELDORADO IS AT 1400

I think scholarship at Juilliard is one of the crucial elements of everybody's

education and for everybody who comes to the concerts, for all of us on the stage,

it's especially important that I know that I have people behind the scenes who are

supporting the arts, the performing arts in general. I always wake up every

morning thanking my donors.

China's efforts to pressure North Korea fall short of what is needed: White House - Duration: 0:41.

The United States believes China can do a lot more to pressure North Korea, saying its

current measures are falling short of Beijing's full potential.

A senior White House official says that, while China has taken steps forward in its willingness

to rein in Pyongyang, the efforts haven't had much effect.

President Trump is reportedly growing impatient with China, and is said to be considering

trade actions against Beijing, including new tariffs on steel imports.

On Tuesday, the U.S. State Department downgraded China's ranking in its annual report on human

trafficking, listing it as one of the worst offenders in the world.

What Is the Sciatic Nerve and Why Does It Hurt so Much? Answered by St. Joseph, Mi Chiropractor - Duration: 2:48.

Anyone who currently suffers (or has ever suffered) from sciatic nerve pain knows what

REAL pain feels like.

Here at SpineCare in St. Joseph MI, we're great at treating low back and sciatica pain.

With thousands of individual sciatica pain treatments given over the years, I can confidently

say to you that REAL relief can be experienced, sometimes as early as your very first treatment

session.

We'll talk more about this in a second.

But for now, let's dive into what is the sciatic nerve and why does it hurt so much?

Sciatic nerve pain affects millions of people.

The pain can range from a minor nagging pain to a debilitating condition.

Despite it being a common problem, there's still a lot of confusion about what it is

and how to treat it.

To help get you up to speed, here is what you need to know about both the anatomy of

your sciatic nerve and the pain associated with it.

Your sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in your entire body.

Its width can be that of your finger at its widest point.

It begins as a bundle of nerve fibers (also called the nerve roots) in your lower spine.

These nerve fibers exit through holes in the bones at the back of your spine.

The sciatic nerve travels through your pelvis and down the back of your leg.

When your sciatic nerve reaches your knee it divides into two separate nerves: the Tibial

nerve and the Common Peroneal nerve.

The Peroneal nerve travels sideways along the outer part of your knee and then down

to your upper foot.

The Tibial nerve travels downwards toward your heel and the sole of your foot.

So, why does your sciatic nerve hurt so much?

The first thing to know about the pain associated with your sciatic nerve roots is that sciatica

is not a medical diagnosis.

Rather, sciatica is a SYMPTOM of an underlying medical disorder.

Sciatica refers not only to symptoms of pain but also to numbness or weakness felt along

your sciatic nerve.

The most common disorders that cause these symptoms may include: degenerative or herniated

spinal Discs, Spinal Stenosis, and Piriformis Syndrome.

At SpineCare, we combat sciatic nerve pain using many treatment methods in our arsenal

and sometimes a combination of multiple treatment techniques.

A chiropractic adjustment is the most common treatment used to relieve irritation to the

sciatic nerve caused by misalignments in the spine or pelvis.

Disc herniation, spinal stenosis, or degeneration responds very well to spinal decompression

therapy.

If you're suffering from low back pain and sciatica, come talk to us.

There is real relief, and often quick relief, through these sciatic pain treatment methods

given here at SpineCare.

Give us a call today and get back on track towards living without pain.

I'll look forward to helping you, thanks for watching!

What's Wrong with the Goal for Timmy to Talk In 4-Word Utterances? - Duration: 6:23.

Hi, I'm Dr. Mary Barbera, autism mom and

board certified behavior analyst. In last

week's video blog, I discussed a few ABA

strategies I use to develop first sounds

and words in children with autism. Today

I'm going to discuss how I expand

language carefully in children who are

speaking in one or two word utterances

where we have echoic control - meaning if

I say "say ball" the child will say "ball"

without receiving a ball and without

seeing a picture of a ball. Once we get

the child talking, and we have echoic

control, and the child is saying some

words, we need to expand language

carefully. I find that a lot of people, at

this point, tend to start teaching the

child to use carrier phrases such as "I

want" whatever they want and some

professionals start to select goals such

as "the child will speak in four to five

words length utterances." This can

oftentimes backfire and lead to a child

who is prompt dependent or the child's

articulation becomes so poor that they

are completely unintelligible. I learned

so much from Dr. Barbara Esch, an SLP and

BCBA,

who created the echoic assessment known

as the EESA, which is part of the VB map

assessment and one of the biggest aha

that I received from Dr. Esch, years ago

at her workshop, is that we don't want to

set goals per sentence or phrase length,

such as "Timmy will speak in four to five

word utterances." Setting goals like this

is a very bad idea because we need to

think in terms of syllable length, not

sentence length. The example Barb Esch used

was refrigerator which is five syllables

but just one word. The other, in

comparison "the black cat sat down" is

also five syllables but this

time its five words. This example shows

you why it's so important to not think

in sentence length, but to think in

syllable length. When I got back from

Barb Esch's workshop, I was really excited

and I sat down with Jennifer Lesher, who's

an SLP that I've worked with for many

years, and I showed her many of

Barb Esch's sample worksheets including a

great syllable sheet, with a list of one

syllable words, and two syllable words in

the second column, and three syllable

words. Jennifer created another syllable

sheet based on the work of Dr. Esch and

Jennifer's sheet is available for

download right under this video. And as

you can see, hopefully might be a little

blurry, but just to give you an idea. This

is set up in five columns and the first

column is all one syllable words, like

hi and no and more and two syllable

words like thank you which is two words

and hello and again, sorry. These are

words that we often hear our clients

saying, and three syllables, four syllables,

and five syllables. We use sheets like

this to assess and also to program for

length of syllables within words and

this is a great resource and I've been

using it ever since I learned from Dr.

Esch how important it is to focus on

syllable length. In the same vein, I would

not recommend adding carrier phrases

such as "I want" too early because what

happens, and I've seen it so many times,

is that a child might be finally able to

articulate, juice or movie, pretty well

because they are one and two syllable

words we can all understand a handful or

dozen or 50 of their child's words and

all of a sudden somebody

decides to at "I want" so that instead of

instead of juice it's "I want

juice" which is three syllables or "I want

movie" which is four syllables and many

times what this does, is it really

affects articulation and makes the

child's language not understandable.

Another example is if a child name is

Nicholas, but sometimes he goes by Nick

or it's Alexander, but the parent is fine

with calling the child Alex. Go with Nick

or Alex when teaching them to say their

name. The shorter the better and I

wouldn't teach Nick, who doesn't have

great articulation to say another

carrier phrase such as "my name is

Nicholas," because then we're up to six

syllables instead of one syllable. So

when somebody comes up to him and says

"what's your name?" the child should just

answer Nick.This will help everyone,

especially Nick. We want to really be

careful with expanding length of

utterance and expanding sentences when

the number one thing we should be

worried about is can the child request

their wants and needs, preferably even to a

stranger. Teaching and encouraging a

child to speak using one and two

syllable words and then very short three

to five syllable phrases or words should

be the goal, constantly making sure the

child is as clear as possible. Don't

forget to download Jennifer Lesher's

syllable sheet based off the work of Dr.

Barb Esch, and focus on syllable length

for all of your clients and child or

child. I hope you found this video blog

informative and I'll see you next week.
