How I Improve My Audio Using Audacity - Duration: 4:38.

hi guys if you don't know already my name is Jay and this is tech sway and in

today's tutorial we're looking at audacity now the reason why I actually

want to show you guys this is I actually use it on lots of my videos to treat the

audio just to get a sort of more of a studio effect applied to it so I'm going

to quickly playback three different clips for you guys to listen to the

first one is a recording in audacity with no effects apply to it the second

one has some tweaks to it and then the third one is the final format but use in

most of my videos that you listen to hi guys this is Jay from Tech's way and

difference is you actually noticed there is the first one really quiet and just

kind of not that great the second one the the noisy level of it is amplified

quite a lot by it's not kind of too much in your face and then the third and

final one has more of a like a studio effect of why I call it where is it more

of like a base here type effect it's for effects in total by use and then I do

add a slight noise reduction to it because always funny just gets a little

bit too high so I tend to take it down by two decibels so I'm going to show you

why I actually use on this unedited one hit so we do is just highlight the

actual audio clip that you want to do and then just go to effect and then if

it is quiet like my one is just go to compressor and then don't change any of

the values make sure your values match exactly what's in this window here this

is just the default values hit OK and straight away you'll see all the peaks

have gone high based not actually put it above zero decibels it so it's not going

to be bursting anyone's eardrums but it never sounds that great so you just

actually want to normalize it so it actually sounds more normal when you're

actually talking again you don't need to adjust any of the settings just hit OK

and you'll see it's actually just reduced those sizes so now if we listen

back to it hi guys this is Jay from text Y and this is a voice test you see it's

quite like a pleasant sort of level to listen to the audio is normal you know

it doesn't sound kind of robotic or anything weird like that

but then if you want to get that sort of that base year tone or more sort of

studio effect to it again all we need to do is go to effect equalization and then

I actually choose base boost from the curb so just hit bass boost and then

just make sure yours actually matches this so you might need to tweak your

slightly to match it but you'll see it's between 100 Hertz and then just about

500 Hertz there down add the flat bit here okay and then the final one go back

to effect and then um you want to go to Equalization once more and instead of

bass boost this time we just want up the treble boost to it this time and then

between that that's just four thousand five thousand Hertz that that bar

actually goes up to so then that's actually going to take it up to this

value here which if we just follow across you'll see is nine decibels so

going from zero to nine between the four thousand and the five thousand Hertz

range here okay and then what I do because if we listen back to it now hi

guys this is Jay from text me and this is a voice test it's quite and gets

quite close to sort of like being almost slightly distorted so for that that's

why I actually just go back to the effect and then just hit noise reduction

and I reduce it by two decibels everything else actually left as default

so the sensitivity frequency exactly how is make sure you've got another set to

reduce hit okay and it just brings it down so when we listen to it

is so everything kills for me is set quite normal like the microphone I'm

using at the blue Yeti I actually have the gain line I turn down quite low so

it doesn't pick up a lot of background noises let me know which out does it

sort the second and the third one that you preferred because I've used both of

them in many videos I you actually prefer the sort of the studio the basic

kind of one out the two but whatever your comments are put them down below

How Quaker Meeting Changed My Life - Duration: 5:45.

What I like about the unprogrammed style is the power in the silence.

I have a hard time sitting still.

I have a hard time centering myself.

I have a hard time meditating, sometimes a hard time praying.

But the silence, it just allows the Spirit to move within us, and when it does it's

what we call a "gathered meeting," and it's very powerful and very enriching and

uplifting.

It's that spirit as a kid I remember moving through church, through worship with the music

and the instruments, whereas this is moved through with silence.

It's so powerful, man.

My name is Lidney Molnari.

I'm from Live Oak Friends Meeting in Houston, Texas.

Because I was raised Evangelical, right?

And of course, like many people, I rebelled against religion in general, and over the

years I personally confirmed with myself and my spirit that God does exist.

So that was the first hurdle for me to get back into a community of worship.

So I went "church shopping," right?

And visited different religions, different churches, and to use a Quaker term, they didn't

"meet my condition".

So that first experience I had at Quaker meeting "met my condition."

The silence was so moving, so powerful.

I knew that was my place of worship.

That was my home.

My first experience was at Live Oak Friends Meeting in Houston.

I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect, not knowing for sure how I

would handle or how I would experience the silence kinda made me a bit nervous.

But I remember where I sat and I remember looking around, watching people settle into

prayer, meditation, and I began to settle in myself.

As I did, I experienced the presence of God as I did when I was a child.

It was moving.

I'm getting chills, sorry.

What I also like about the unprogrammed Friends worship is it's all-inclusive.

We don't ask what your belief is.

We don't ask if you believe in God.

We just ask you to come worship with us.

And that really touched me, 'cause like I said, I rebelled against religion when I

was younger.

As a kid, my pastor, my preacher mentioning how other churches weren't as "Christian"

because they didn't believe the way we believed…

And I remember, as a kid, the children's pastor telling me that these people were going

to go to hell because they don't believe in Jesus and it just didn't sit well with

me, you know?

Quakers not having a dogma or a creed spoke to my condition.

After visiting Live Oak Friends Meeting and seeking a place of worship, my prejudics,

my judgement towards religion, religion in general, subsided because I learned to believe,

I learned to see that of God in everyone.

So how can I say your religion is wrong if I seek that of God in you?

How can I judge the way you worship if I see that of God in you?

Finding Quakers, finding a Quaker meeting, changed my life in that I'm more open minded,

more accepting, more tolerant, more compassionate.

Gmod - How to play Hide and Seek & Prop Hunt with Custom Playermodels like Vanoss [Garry's Mod] V.2 - Duration: 4:12.

Hey what's up guys, this is Game_Soundtracks and in this tutorial I'm going show you

again how you can play with your friends your favourite gamemodes with your custom playermodel.

A lot of you requested a remake of this tutorial since you guys had a lot of questions and

problems which will be answered in this tutorial.

Just like last time go to addons and open the workshop.

Then search for the enhanced playermodel selector and subscribe to it.

I will also put the download link in the description for you.

Now scroll down until you see this code right here: This is the code which is required to

mount the enhanced playermodel selector to the console.

Copy this code we will need it later.

You can now go back to the main menu where we will now open the console.

If you don't know how to do that just open the options and search for Toogle console.

In my case I can open it by pressing F6. Now open the console.

After that we will enter the code that we have copied.

You can type in any letter you want.

I will use x.

The enhanced playermodel selector is now mounted.

Please note that the playermodel selector will only work on private servers and not

on public ones.

If you go to "find multiplayer game" and then select a gamemode and server the playermodel selector

won't work for you because the server has to install the addon before it can work for

everybody.

To get the enhanced playermodel selector worked in multiplayer go back to the main menu and press "Start New Game" and go to

the top right site: Then choose how many players you want to play with.

In my case I choose four.

Now select your gamemode and start the session.

Once loaded you have to invite your friends to join by opening the workshop again.

Then close this window to reach your friend list down.

Choose your friends that are online and invite them to your game.

Your friends will now join your server but please keep in mind that they will have to

download all your addons so if you have 200 addons installed it will take a lot of time

until you can play with your friends.

After all your friends have joined the server you can start the gamemode with your favourite

playermodel.

Your friends can also play with their favourite playermodels, they just have to mount the code

from the beginning of the tutorial to the console too

In the beginning of the video we have mounted the playermodel selector to the key x

If we press x now it will open up the playermodel selector

and we can choose a playermodel. I will now choose this one

After that you can click "Apply Playermodel" to change it

And now you can see below that I have my own custom playermodel

If you don't have any friends just use my comment section and ask if someone wants to

play with you together.

the stock market is crashing the overall market is going down

how can you profit off the market crashing what tools can you use to make

profit I'll show you in this video talking about how I made six hundred

eighty four dollars today trading you vxy as the overall market was turning

red and selling off so you can see here I have two charts bata I have the UV X Y

and I have the spy photo the UV X Y is a two x ETF that tracks the VIX so the VIX

is obviously going to be volatility it's an attractive volatility in the market

I'm not going to get too deep into it but give you an idea the VIX basically

follows the overall market when the market sells off the volatility Rises

when the market goes sideways the volatility goes down and you get an idea

of how volatility works but you can actually trade volatility and you can

find different ways to short the overall market using the VIX overall and you vxy

is a great one for that there's also T VIX there's all kinds of

different ways that you can trade volatility you can trade in short the

overall market but I chose to use UV X Y for a couple different reasons and I'll

talk about those in this video so the spy is an overall ETF that's

going to combine all the top 500 SP is going to basically track the overall

sp500 performance so using two ETS here got it the UV XY ETF and have the spy

ETF and you get an idea here you can obviously see that the UV XY is tracking

the volatility as it's going up as the spy is crashing which is the sp500 so

breaking this down real quickly you can see here in the morning

the market opens up here pre market is at 244 and it's like okay not a big deal

it starts to crash a little crash and it's like okay it's bouncing they are

243 that's pretty normal you know we're getting nice little balance there got

some support there a 243 area all of a sudden the market turns red starts to

turn red starts to sell off the overall markets were selling off today tech was

selling off big and you can see the sp500 followed right after that and as

you can see here it crashes down and looking at the chart here you can see on

the you know this is overall this is a 5-minute chart this is a daily chart you

can see the overall markets the last couple months how they've been trading

obviously been at a nice high they're at 2:45 air 2:45 has been big resistance

can't get through that 245 area recently so that's all-time high there 245 area

and having some trouble kind of bounce around in that channel

- 45 - 41 area kind of bouncing and we actually broke through that to 41 air is

the lowest SP has been all month of June so once it broke through that to 41 I'll

think this might really want to crash it my kid bloody might have a big sell-off

might really have some opportunity here to benefit so once I saw that 241

bouncing I was keeping a close eye on 241 okay 241 breaks this is going to be

game on looking for that move down here 240 it's 240 breaks this is really

really going to crash going to get nasty quick and we can see a really big

sell-off in the market today to go along on the VIX here at that break of 241

looking for that move down here to 40 and I ended up getting in you can see

basically looking at the chart you know this is the VIX is basically an inverse

of what's going on in the spy so if the spy cells on really really hard the the

VIX is really going to ramp up and go high really fast and you can see kind of

how this is mirrored here so right in this area we start to get that sell-off

we get to that 241 area and I start looking at it I'm like okay we get above

this 1050 area we start crashing down right here you can see here we break

through 241 starts to bounce around a little bit and then we really get this

big sell-off right here and I ended up going long over the 1050 area and got

this move above the eleven dollar area up here to 11:10 ended up getting about

60 cents there on a thousand shares so I ended up making about six hundred eighty

four dollars actually trading on my phone that's easier sometimes as you

sink or swim right on my phone as I was doing so everything's editing and

trading in the smaller account on the dash trader Pro I just pulled it up

really quickly on my phone just to trade this in my larger account just to get a

thousand shares quickly I think I'm like I might get a fifty cent move here just

really wanted to crash if that 240 area broke and we really got a big sell-off

we could get a huge sell-off I was really thinking we could get a huge ramp

up and really go higher here all they make it's made $684 in a matter of

minutes they're on this trade you can see kind of profit there thousand shares

and I was like okay ended up taking profit there at the 1110 area after

getting in there the 10:50 so made about 60 cents there on that move a thousand

shares not bad pretty happy with that we got it went even lower and I got to that

point where it got up here and I was like okay I'm gonna take profit just

kind of looking like we might bounce here off

240 areas kind of bouncing around there didn't want to break through 240 and got

this move higher and ended up getting a little bit more volatility and ended up

spiking all the way up here to 1180 here on you vxy so I got out early like

normal taking profit about 60 cents earlier than I should have today got a

full dollar 20 move there but and I make $600 could have made it $1200 but you

know you know you never get the top you never get the top of these moves you

know to be happy playing the VIX here playing and getting that 50 cent move

enough trading you vxy I'm keeping a close eye on the overall market using

the spy here ETF and kind of looking at support resistance area so if I'm

looking here to get long on the VIX I want to see support breaking on the S&P

500's by so when I see this 241 area break that's a good sign I want to go

long on the VIX the VIX is going to move very fast if it starts to break if spy

starts to really start moving it starts to really crash quickly the VIX the uvx

why it's a two times following the VIX so it's really going to ramp up quickly

and you can see here how it ramps up so quickly

even on a small move you know from 241 to 240 we get a huge doll or two dollar

move here on you vxy and you can see how it kind of works out you can see here on

this move it got down to 240 we bounced off we bounced off a 240 strong here on

the 5-minute jumped up from 240 reversed there on you vxy so from what 1180 we

dropped all the way down here to 1110 so we got about a 70 cent move off of that

drop so got to be very careful got to be quick to take profits when you're

trading these used two times three times ETF that really move fast when you're

kind of tracking the overall market like this and you can see amazing move if you

went long here on you vxy at that nine dollar area when the market really

started selling off you got that move all the way up there to 1180 so a lot of

opportunity here when the market is selling off when the market is crashing

there's opportunity to always there's all kinds of different vehicles to day

trade to make money off of all the different situations in the market like

you see today making $684 trading you vxy while the market was selling off and

crashing down taking profit out of the market

even while everybody else is scrambling to save their portfolios or the market's

crashing they're like oh man I'm losing all this money there's still ways to

hedge your bets and eight and make profit while the market

is selling off hope for this helps you hope this gives you guys an idea of how

to trade when the market is selling off when the market is crashing don't worry

it's not like oh the markets crashing there's no way that I can make money if

there's volatility there's money to be made and there's all kind of different

ways to trade that volatility

So I've gone ahead and actually measured out half a cup of black beans if you're using food scale was translates to 100 grams

So what you want to do is take black beans?

Throw them into a pressure cooker. I've already added 2 cups of water

So if you're keeping count that's a one to four ratio of beans to water

You want throw them in

Put the lid on make sure that it's sealed

Then what you want to do is

Me I have a button here for beans

But if you don't all you basically want to do is just make sure it's on high pressure for 40 minutes

And that's how you have black beans ready in less than an hour.

Wikileaks Docs Show How the CIA Allegedly Infected Offline Computers

It seems that more and more information continues to come to light regarding hacking � not

just by your average hacker, but by the CIA and other government agencies, too.

Now, WikiLeaks documents have revealed how the CIA infected offline computers using air-gap

hacking.

Air-gapping refers to a security measure that involves isolating a computer or network and

preventing it from establishing an external connection.

Being segregated in this way, devices cannot connect wirelessly or physically with other

computers or network devices, making them virtually immune to remote hacking.

Classified military networks, the payment networks responsible for processing credit

and debit card transactions for retailers, or industrial control systems that operate

vital infrastructure � these are examples of networks that typically use air-gapping.

Maintaining security requires such networks to remain on internal networks that aren�t

connected to the company�s business network.

This ensures intruders can�t enter the corporate network by way of the Internet and weasel

their way into sensitive systems.

But sometimes, as is being revealed by WikiLeaks, there�s a way around an air-gap. Wikileaks

recently published a series of alleged CIA documents showing how the CIA�s malware

was designed to infect these types of targets.

The exposed documents reveal how the CIA has continued to develop its own hacking tools,

apparently to get into devices such as smart TVs and Internet routers.

Called Brutal Kangaroo, the tool suite�s components consist of various components including:

Drifting Deadline, a thumbdrive infection tool;

Shattered Assurance, a server tool responsible for automated infection of USB drives), Broken

Promise, a post processor that evaluates collected information; and Shadow, the main persistence

mechanism.

�Brutal Kangaroo is a tool suite for targeting closed networks by air gap jumping using thumbdrives,�

one of the documents notes. The 11 files in question come from the CIA�s Engineering

Development Group, and allegedly span from 2012 t0 2016.

According to the documents, the CIA gets around air-gapped computers by first remotely installing

a piece of malware on a system connected to the internet called the �primary host.�

Next, an unaware user plugs the infected USB into an air-gapped computer unavailable to

the CIA. The malware then works to send any data back to the CIA once it�s plugged into

the primary host again.

The project sets up its own �custom covert network� in the air-gapped computers once

the malware has infected a target.

Here, the CIA is given access to files for collection. It can also survey the victim

machines, launch its own executables, delete a predetermined list of files, and more.

As the leak notes, there�s a section of the user guide that reveals problems that

certain antivirus products have against the CIA malware.

For instance, Symantec�s product is said to create a pop-up when the malware tried

to automatically run.

A court filing from earlier this year revealed that the Department of Justice may have mistakenly

confirmed the credibility of the CIA documents.

In February of 2015, the FBI took over Playpen, a dark web child pornography site. During

this time, it utilized a network investigative technique � a piece of malware � to try

to expose the site�s users.

While the investigation resulted in hundreds of arrests, it also generated dozens of court

cases across the U.S. regarding the legality of the warrant used to authorize the hacking

operation, along with the source code of the tool used to hack computers.

Hacking undoubtedly remains a controversial subject, and while it can be useful in exposing

dangers to society, it also raises serious ethical issues about the value and safekeeping

of our privacy.

DIY How to make foam roses (ENG Subtitles) - Speed up #371 - Duration: 3:00.

Hi. Today I will show you how to make roses made from foam paper.

Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.

First, cut the templates.

Copy a flower 3 times.

Cut them.

Make incisions between the petals.

Gently heat a petal...

...and curl it by using wooden skewer.

Do the same with other petals.

Do the same with second flower.

Make a ball from a piece of aluminum foil.

Glue it to the center of third flower.

Apply glue on a petal...

...and glue it to the ball.

Do the same with petal on the opposite side of flower.

Glue the remaining petals around the center.

Glue the center of rose to a flower.

Apply glue on the sides of petals and glue them to the center of rose.

Do the same with the last flower.

Copy a leaf 4 times and cut them.

Gently heat the top part of leaf and twist it a little.

Finally, glue the leaves to the rose.

And it's done.

Foam roses are great decoration.
