Hello and welcome to Football Nations!

Today we are going to talk about football in one of the smallest countries of the planet,

the proud nation of San Marino.

La Serenissima, as the countries national football team is called, played its first

ever official game in 1990 against Switzerland and lost by four goals.

The country's national side is mainly composed of amateur players and most of them have second

jobs besides football, which is one of the reasons why the team isn't exactly among

the strongest in Europe.

But the players compete with a lot of heart and passion for their country.

San Marino's highest FIFA ranking was a 118th place in 1993, but since then they have

almost always been at the bottom of the ranking, which is a 208th place.

They have kind of a rivalry with the Asian side Bhutan regarding the second to last place

and currently San Marino is on top.

The republic of San Marino is a microstate in Southern Europe and completely surrounded

by Italy.

Italian is also the country's official language and many people identify themselves as Italian

rather than Sammarinese.

With a population of 33,562 and a size of only 61 square kilometers San Marino is the

fifth smallest country on planet earth.

The smallest is the Vatican by the way, just around the corner.

San Marino's capital is the city of San Marino, but its biggest city is Serravalle.

San Marino got its name from Marinus, a stonemason from Croatia who founded a monastic community

and the country claims to be oldest existing sovereign state and constitutional republic,

the official founding date is the third of September 301.

Economically San Marino relies mainly on finance and tourism and has one of the highest GDPs

in the world.

It is also the only country with more vehicles than people.

Interesting.

San Marino's national team plays its games at the Stadio Olimpico.

Yeah, not the famous one but the one in Serravalle with a capacity of seven thousand.

It's also where the football club San Marino Calcio plays its games.

Since 1990 San Marino has competed in qualifying for every EURO and World Cup, but have never,

and I mean never, won a match.

In general, they have won only one single game in all of their history, a friendly against

Liechtenstein in 2004.

Andy Selva, who currently plays for La Fiorita but also spent some years in professional

Italian leagues, has the most appearances for the country and is also the country's

best ever scorer with 8 goals, which he scored from 1998 until now.

In 2006 San Marino voted Massimo Bonini as their best ever player.

Although he played only 19 games for the national team from 1990 to 1995, Bonini is by far the

most famous player from the little country.

The midfielder is a three-times Serie A champion and played 192 games for Juventus among other

clubs.

Despite its size San Marino does have an own football league, but the country's best

club by far competes in the Italian league system – San Marino Calcio.

You may have tried the San Marino Challenge in Football Manager with this club.

They currently play in the Serie D, the fourth division of Italian football and are San Marino's

only professional football club.

All the other amateur clubs play in the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio which was played first

in 1985.

The league is on the last place in the UEFA 5-year-ranking, even surpassed by Gibraltar

and Andorra.

The most successful clubs of the competition are Tre Fiori with seven titles, followed

by current champions La Fiorita, and Folgore and Domagnano who all have four titles.

Today, I talk about mechanical and aerospace engineering.

Which one should you choose and which one is better?

So hey everyone! Welcome back to the 1min. Ask An Engineer Show.

Where you ask a question for an engineer and I try to answer it in one minute

So the question that I have for today is...

I was initially planning on studying aerospace engineering

however, I heard that it may be more wise to just study mechanical engineering

As aerospace engineering has less job opportunities.

What are your thoughts?

Okay, hey Sanford. So I'm like you, I'm from Ontario

and I actually want to work in the aerospace industry. That has been my goal forever.

Like, being an astronaut, working on rockets, that's my goal.

But I originally picked mechanical engineering and I took a concentration in Aeronautics

And, why I did that, and why I think that's actually the better route instead of just going

for pure aerospace degree, is that

1. There are way more people that are looking for aerospace jobs than there are aerospace jobs.

Like, this way I have a lot of options. First of all, I'm a mechanical engineer. I have all of the

background in mechanical engineering. And then on top of that, I am specialized in

aeronautical engineering. And so that's, I think, better than just limiting yourself

to this very very small, very small, field of aeronautical engineering

Well actually, aerospace engineering is a small field. In Canada, Aeronautics is

actually not so small. I went to McGill and in Montreal we actually have

tons of aeronautical companies like Bombardier

Bell Helicopter, Rolls-Royce, Siemens. Tons of companies.

And then if you really, really still want those aerospace engineering jobs then you have to make

sure that you're at the top of your class, that you get a Master's,

probably a PhD, in order to stand out above everyone

else that wants that same job.

And if you don't get it, but you already discovered

that you really like combustion, like I did

Because why are in aerospace?

You don't even really know yet. Do you like working in structures?

Do you like fluid dynamics?

Do you like aerodynamics?

Do you like heat transfer? Piping? Materials?

You don't really even know. And every single one of those fields can be

applied to a mechanical engineering industry.

So if you take mechanical engineering, I would say it leaves you with a lot more options

And then you can apply it to both the aerospace industry and into the mechanical engineering industry.

After you found out what you like.

for this tutorial I am using Microsoft Excel 2010 let's get started to change

uppercase to proper case you need to write a formula which is very simple

click on the next empty cell and write = P R O P E R proper and

parentheses and you have to identify the cell which is A 5 enter see it's changed

here it is uppercase and now here it is proper case now drag the formula and then see

all of them has changed to proper case that's it you have successfully changed

On October 10th, 2017, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt announced

the repeal of the Obama administration's so-called Clean Power Plan.

Here's the background: When he was running for president, Barack

Obama told journalists that, under his energy plan, QUOTE "electricity rates would necessarily

skyrocket." UNQUOTE electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket

Democrats, who then controlled Congress, refused to pass the Obama energy plan… so, to achieve

the same goal, the Obama administration came up with his 460 pages of regulations, the

so-called Clean Power Plan. This was supposed to fight Global Warming

by cutting carbon dioxide emissions 32% by 2030, compared to 2005.

But even according to the EPA's own computer model, the effects of the plan on the climate

are minimal. …that it would reduce the temperature by the end of the century by less than one-fiftieth

of a degree—an amount that's too small for science to measure. They claim that the

plan would reduce sea-level rise… by a whopping one one-hundredth of an inch.

And this wouldn't come free. The plan was projected to hike electricity costs by more

than 250 percent. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration,

the economic impact of the Clean Power Plan would lead to a loss of about 17-hunded dollars

for the average family of four by the year 2025. And that's the average family. Many

towns in our nation were built around coal mines, and they've already been economically

devastated – in part due to the effects of the "Clean Power Plan."

Meanwhile, countries that couldn't care less about Global Warming theory—Communist

China, for example—would gain a tremendous competitive advantage over the U.S. as we

deliberately impoverished ourselves. Rather than calling it the "Clean Power

Plan," a better name would be the "Expensive Electricty Plan."  Luckily, it's being

repealed. It's now headed where it belongs – the ashheap of history.

How to fix Shadowplay creating corrupt/unworkable files, that have no audio or video streams - Duration: 2:28.

Nvidia's Shadowplay was recently updated to be able to record two audio tracks

simultaneously; however, enabling this feature causes unforeseen complications

in the files it creates. Here, we shall try to drag one such file in Adobe

Premiere Pro. As you can see, nothing happens. Trying to import it directly

from the program gets us an error, informing us the file has no audio or

video streams. Let's find out if Premiere is the only program that finds the

file problematic. Opening the file in Windows Media Player, we notice there's no

sound, even though we have not muted it. Clearly, the player finds some

issue with the audio stream. When we open it with Media Player Classic, we do hear

audio, suggesting the second player uses some codec that bypasses the problem

somehow. Still, one out of three is a dismal score. How can we prevent Shadowplay from

creating such unworkable files in the future? Press Alt + Z to bring the

overlay up. Turn instant replay off to access the settings menu. Click the gear icon and

then the Audio tab. Under the Audio tracks section, select create a single track.

Back out of the settings menu and turn instant replay on again. So let's start

Rainbow six siege to test the fix. Press the key to start recording.

And then press the same key again to stop recording and save the video. Back

in Premiere, let's import the freshly recorded file.

And there - voila. The file has loaded successfully with all this video and audio intact.
