Never Lose. Either Win Or Learn - Study Motivation - Duration: 10:10.
I've never really viewed myself as particularly talented I view myself as you
know slightly above average in talent and where I excel is ridiculous
sickening work ethic you know while the other guy's sleeping I'm working while
other guy's eating I'm working you can look at the the first six episodes of
the The Fresh Prince and I was so just hell-bent on not failing that I
memorized the entire script and you can see in certain shots they tried to cut
around it as much as they can but I am mouthing the other actors lines here's
what happened I'm on jury duties my duties duty my entire calendar is
cleared right they give us a very long lunch what do I do
I don't sit and chill it out I don't sit and say well I don't have anything
scheduled I email the team we bang out episode 114 of the askgaryvee show I
email Matt my assistant he's hanging out over there that's kind of creepy looks
looks super suspicious anyway I mean Matt's here so what we're gonna
go through a bunch of stuff that we have to execute against I have two calls right
after I do this video Phil Toronto from vayner/rse the fund is coming and having
a meeting that was gonna be at 11:30 p.m. tonight
he's coming to meet me at 1:00 basically what I'm fascinated by is that people
like to say they hustle and I talk about working the whole day and then
I've talked to you guys a lot about well it's not about how much you sleep it's
what you do while you're awake and this is a perfect example of something that
I've watched a lot of my contemporaries and a lot of you the vaynernation
right that say they love to hustle when something happens a meeting gets
canceled right there's a curveball it's a snow day right they take that as
vacation time instead of adjusting to it see the truth of the matter is being
efficient executing shooting for those big goals is predicated on your actions
do you take a extra-long lunch from jury duty to say you know what cool I'm gonna
chill and watch youtube videos or do you hustle your face off and try to cram as
much in you know I I'm excited that that's my first thought now look I get
it I'm sitting on a high chair right now and talking down to like you should do
this I'm really not I'm really not really not telling you what you should
do I'm really not trying to be a guru I'm not really trying to be too cool and
say hahaha look at me not you I'm really really really not I'm really just making
these videos not for the people that you find is condescending not for the few
people that find it motivational I'm making this video for the people that
are foolish right the ones that tell me to my face every day that yeah you know
and really want it and don't recognize the actions that it takes to get there
so I'm making this video for a very small percentage of you to the left look
Gary thinks he's so cool to the right that's the best ever completely
blindness no the middle the middle my friends so many of you that actually
want this have the skills to do this right and sometimes once in a while just
need to see a different version of it to understand ah right ah to me this is an
ah video right did you mail it in did you mail in that
15 minute 15-minute call got canceled you had a packed day 15 hour day it got
canceled what are you enough 15 minutes and by
the way sometimes those 15 minutes are absolutely worth calling your mom
calling your daughter facetime with your kids but it's just making every minute
count every minute has to count every minute has to count if you want so
much because you just don't have as many of them as you think
you just don't another sort of five-point plan anyone could follow to
get over stress and trauma in their lives talk me through it well I think
first of all I make one thing clear the quality of your life is the quality of
where you live emotionally we all have a home angry people try and find a
way to get angry even if their life doesn't they'd be angry about we can
always find it sad people find a way to be sad caring people find a way to care
for other people so one thing that I identify is where are you living what's
your home what's your habit and then the way to change it is when I was homeless
literally on my own just getting started I didn't have the internet but I have
decided I had to go to a library and I had to feed my mind I always tell people
the first stage is you know weeds grow automatically one of my teachers taught
me is that every day stand guard of the door of your mind and feed it something
good because if your worst enemy puts sugar in your coffee here you're fine if
your best friend by accident trying to help you put some strychnine you're dead
so if you feed your mind every day 30 minutes a day of reading something
hearing something second you got to strengthen your body and the reason
Piers is fear is physical right so is stagnation so is numbness so is sadness
so is rage and when you go in and change your body by an intense
workout or a run or even intense walk and the blood's flowing through you
science has shown it instantly changes your biochemistry and now your mind and
body are working together third thing all these people didn't
comment if you watch they found a mission bigger than themselves
yes something that they want to aspire to that was worth more than their pain
and then the fourth thing is you gotta find a role model you know you heard it
almost everybody finds a role-model that makes it real I was with Warren Buffett
and with Sara Blakely the youngest billionaire we did this roundtable about
the future and we listened to this woman and when women meet her
they don't just love Spanx or product that made her a billionaire they love this
woman because she's a role model of what's possible yeah you got a role model it
becomes real to you if you get a plan you get a gold plan and you take massive
action and the last step number five there's always somebody a lot worse off than
you are I don't care what you've done so if you can go help somebody worse off
you put your life in perspective and it also reminds you life's not about me
it's about we I always tell people the secret to a great life the secret to
living is giving and there's you realize there's something you still to give even
if you lost your legs even if you've been through a horrific financial
situation your life can improve but more importantly you'll have a meaningful
life choice your common sense will tell you when you believe you have a sense of
autonomy a sense of choice in what you're doing you feel more
self-motivated B. F. Skinner taught us that too in his book beyond freedom
and dignity way back in 1971 reading that book changed my life because I
realized that I am controlled by consequences but sometimes I don't feel
controlled when I'm working for a pleasant consequence it feels good it
feels like I'm working to get something when I'm working to avoid an aversive
consequence I feel controlled that's called negative reinforcement so here's
a challenge leaders how do we get people to become success seekers rather than
failure avoiders first day of introductory psychology class I teach
two classes of 600 students maybe some of you have been in that class and
remember the first day I say how many are here to avoid failure 80% raise
their hand I say well thanks for coming I know
you're motivated but you're not happy campers
you probably told your friends I got to go to class it's a requirement not I get
to go to class it's an opportunity you probably woke up to an alarm clock not
an opportunity clock and it's all in how you see really it's all in how you see
it it's your paradigm it's how you
communicate to others and how you communicate to yourself so Ellen Langer
said in her book mindfulness she said and psychologists know when you perceive
choice you perceive motivation you're more motivated so the deal is for
yourself sit back and reflect be mindful of the choices you have and talk about
being a success seeker rather than a failure avoider it's all how you talk
how you communicate to yourself and to others the hard work involved any of you
if you want to have like a casual life and you don't want to be in a pan I mean
you never sleep it's really really hard work you know and you're exhausted all
the time and you're almost always sick and they're fighting with your business
partners all day long and it's a it's just how it is
but I have a very very strong work ethic because I had nothing when I was a kid I
mean nothing I've been working on my first job when I was 13 I had two jobs when I was
16 you know but I think it's a lot of it's
probably because I'm extraordinarily fearful about having to do what someone
tells me to do so I'd rather be doing everything because at least no one's
told me to do that so one of the best ways to stop worrying and start living
is to take things one day at a time forget what's happened in the past that
you cannot change and don't worry about what might happen in the future
99% of the things that you worry about will never occur you can always use the
worry Buster formula to clear your mind if there's a problem in your life that
is causing you to worry remember that most things you worry about never happen
anyway there are four steps to applying the worry buster to your situation to
help you stop worrying completely number one define your problem clearly accurate
diagnosis is half the cure what exactly are you worrying about write it down if
you possibly can number two is ask yourself what is the worst possible
outcome of this situation I call this a YP WPO analysis worst possible outcome
some people call it filling out the disaster report what is the worst and
think about what exactly could happen if this situation did occur step number
three is resolve to accept the worst possible outcome should it occur
whatever might happen decide that you will be able to live with it it won't
kill you take it one day at a time now you found out how to stop worrying and
finally begin immediately to make sure that the worst possible outcome does not
occur think of all the creative things you could do to minimize the worst
possible occurrence pretty soon you'll be thinking positively and creatively
again and you'll be back in control of your life

Donald Trump Orders Jeff Sessions To Prosecute Clinton "Or Else" - Duration: 2:48.
President Trump has warned that unless the Justice Department prosecutes the Clinton
family soon, he will be forced step in and take drastic action.
Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday morning that he is becoming increasingly
dissapointed and frustrated with AG Jeff Session's failure to respond to the ongoing scandals
surrounding the Clinton's, the DNC, the FBI, and the phoney Russian dossier.
"A lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Department, including me," Trump
told reporters.
Breitbart.com reports: Trump said that the Justice Department should be investigating
Democrats and the Clintons, sharing several observations on Twitter.
"This is real collusion and dishonesty," Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday night, responding
to Donna Brazile's revelation that Hillary Clinton's campaign was controlling DNC operations
and fundraising well before winning her primary.
"Major violation of Campaign Finance Laws and Money Laundering – where is our Justice
Department?" Trump wondered.
The president appears unhappy with Attorney General Jeff Sessions failure to investigate
the Clintons, despite recent revelations about their "crooked" behavior.
Trump said he thought Clinton's "deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus,
plus…" all deserved closer scrutiny.
"People are angry," Trump continued on Twitter.
"At some point the Justice Department, and the FBI, must do what is right and proper.
The American public deserves it!"
Trump also spoked about his frustration with the Justice Department in an interview with
Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
"The saddest thing is because I'm the President of the United States, I'm not
supposed to be involved in the Justice Department, I am not supposed to be involved in the FBI,"
Trump said.
"I'm not supposed to be doing the kinds of things I would love to be doing and I'm
very frustrated by it."
Trump indicated that he wanted the Justice Department to investigate the Clintons.
"I look at what's going on with the Justice Department, well, why aren't thy going after
Hillary Clinton with her emails and dossier?" he asked.
"It's very discouraging to me.
To be honest, I'm very unhappy about it."
Trump signaled frustration with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for failing to target the Clintons.
"Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn't looking into all of the
dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems," Trump wrote on Twitter.
The president, however, appeared to be aware that he could not order the Justice Department
to investigate.
"As a president, you're not supposed to be involved in that process," he admitted
to Ingraham.
"But hopefully are doing something.
At some point, maybe we're going to have it out."

Allahu Akbar or Aloha Snack Bar? Radical Islamic Terrorism is a real threat to America - Duration: 3:09.
thanks for watching the bullshit news network I'm your host BW Howe and in the
wake of an immigrant from Uzbekistan mowing down a crowd of people in
Manhattan it seems like the leftist liberal media is far more concerned with
being on the side of political correctness rather than focusing on the
fact that this was an attacked caused by a radical Islamic terrorist now if
you're new to this channel make sure that you hit the subscribe button with
the bell notification so that way you get updates of all my latest videos with
that said let's get rolling several media outlets delayed releasing
his name nationality and religious affiliation and also steering the
narrative away from Islam and the whitewashed photos that were initially
beliefs or proof of that one of these things is not like the other one of
these things just doesn't belong now the picture on the left is the radical
Islamic terrorist in its natural habitat the picture on the right is to blanch
down further look at the liberal media release with the brightness turned all
the way up who knew that you could go for Muhammad to Kevin with a click of a
button Islamophobia now this is a really
popular term used by the left especially when it comes to connecting an attack or
extremists to the religion of Islam now not all Muslims are terrorists okay most
there are really good people but the fact of the matter remains American
citizens are being targeted by these radical Islamic terrorist groups such as
Isis which just so happened to claim this douche bag is one of their own now
President Trump sent out a couple of tweets which I gotta tell you are
probably my favorite today call him for the death penalty for this piece of shit
now if it was up to me I'd send his ass to a CIA black site and let the boys
work on him for a while first but I like where your head's at Donald dog live now
truck caught a bunch of flak over his proposed travel ban but this recent
attack kind of raises questions about its legitimacy you see people come to
our country because it's the greatest country on Earth okay and because of our
liberties but if you were not born in the US and you're coming from
country that is known to harbor teres quite frankly I don't feel that you
should be given carte blanche on all of our liberties now in my opinion when it
comes to immigration from one of these countries
I feel the NSA ssin of a watch period where they monitor their internet and
outgoing phone calls because these people are making contact with these
terrorist groups after they're already inside of our borders yeah I know what
you're gonna say you're gonna say fine well that violates their American civil
liberties but you know what as far as I'm
concerned they haven't earned them yet I mean how many fuckin people have to die
in the name of political correctness before we start taking this shit
seriously thanks for watching I'm BW Howe if you like this video if the
thumbs up above me here your comments below make sure you hit me in the face
to subscribe but the Bell notifications on so you get updates to all my latest
videos thanks again

SegWit 2X or the death of Bitcoin - Duration: 4:38.
1.
Bitcoin Core
will negotiate with the miners and will support the block increase by 2 times, updating its
software.
All together go to SegWit2X.
Probability ± 5%
2.
Miners will refuse the New York agreement and SegWit2X will not be held.
Everything will remain as it is now.
Probability ± 10%
3.
Fork SegWit2X will pass.
The Miners will stand by and try to gain complete control over Bitcoin.
Suppose that 85% of the miners will work in the 2X network, and 15% will remain on the
original Bitcoin branch.
It's clear that 2X will not have problems with the blocks, but what will happen with
the BTC?
Now the time of the block in the Bitcoin network is 10 minutes.
After 85% of the capacity is gone, the block's time will be just over one hour.
Transactions will be slower and the commission will grow substantially.
Changing the complexity of the network occurs every 2016 blocks, while the maximum it can
change 4 times in one direction or another.
SegWit2X will be held at block 494 784.
The next change in complexity will be on block 495 936.
Ie. after the fork until the complexity changes, there are 1152 blocks remaining.
It takes 50 days for them to be mined, if each unit will search for 1 hour.
The complexity will drop 4 times and the block time will decrease to a perfectly acceptable
value of ± 15 minutes.
Then, after 3 weeks, the complexity will be adjusted again and the block's time will reach
the target value of 10 minutes.
Total: Bitcoin will need two and a half months to recover from the impact and start working
as before.
2X will become a new coin, such as Bitcoin Cash.
Probability ± 35%
4.
Fork SegWit2X will pass.
Miners want money, they have loans, they need to go on vacation, send children to school,
etc.
If the Bitcoin price of the original branch is higher than the Bitcoin price SegWit2X,
which branch will be mined?
That's right, original!
In this case Bitcoin's work, of course, will slow down a bit, especially at first, but
it will not be scary.
2X will become a new coin, such as Bitcoin Cash.
In case of an unfortunate scenario, 2X may even die, or the price may fall below the
skirting board.
Probability ± 35%
5.
Miners deceived all, they still decided to completely manage Bitcoin.
All the pools will go to SegWit2X, the original Bitcoin branch will wither away.
Users will have to obey and go to the 2X software.
Probability ± 10%
What shall I do, where shall I flee?
If you are sure that SegWit2X will pass and become a new bitcoin, now there is time to
buy it and make a lot of money ... But ... Think for yourself!
1.
Do nothing and see what happens.
Leave the Bitcoins.
It is advisable to move them, just in case, to a local wallet.
Do not translate them anywhere immediately after the fork and wait, you may be lucky,
and you will become a little richer.
2.
Exchange Bitcoins for another crypto currency.
3.
Exchange Bitcoins for dollars, the more so that closer to fork, the rate can grow.
4.
Play in the Guess (or, perhaps, you have an in-place?)
And buy futures for the future SegWit2X Bitcoin or the original Bitcoin.

English pronunciation: 'i' /ɪ/ or 'ee' /i:/ sound (example: 'bitch' or 'beach') - Duration: 3:46.
Hello, everyone; I'm Chris, your teacher on Learn British English Free. This is a
special pronunciation lesson. I'm going to help you understand the difference in
two common sounds in English which people learning the language often get
mixed up which can cause some awkward problems sometimes. So let's practice
hard to get this right. It's the difference between two sounds which
sound quite similar but are actually different and we need to make it clear
when we speak. The first sound is a short vowel sound.
this is an important thing - short /ɪ/ have a look /ɪ/ /ɪ/ The second sound, which we need to
make very different, is long - short versus long - think about that and have a look at
my mouth is wider /i:/ /i:/ /i:/ Let's compare the two sounds short and long /ɪ/ /i:/ can
you do it /ɪ/ /i:/ Now some examples. We call these
minimal pairs: similar words which have these two different sounds in. The short
one is first ship long sheep ship sheep
this these this these bin been bin been. And last, one of these
examples can be rude - the first word - in some contexts; that's why it's so
important to be able to pronounce the two sounds differently: bitch
beach bitch beach - to explain, 'bitch' means a female dog, but it can also be used as
a rude word to insult women so that's why you should not pronounce it that way,
especially if you are talking about going on holiday to a lovely place,
relaxing on the beach make sure that you pronounce 'beach' with the long vowel
sound - that's very important. I hope this helped the difference in pronunciation
between /ɪ/ and /i:/; short and long. Easy, but so vital for pronouncing English
properly. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe on Learn British English Free
on YouTube and you can join us on Facebook, on the website www.learnbritishenglish.co.uk
All the links to all the websites are available in the description on the
YouTube page along with the notes and the text for this video. I will see you
next time. Goodbye.

EQM - Seres de Luz ou Humanóides | NDE - Light Beings or Humanoids - Duration: 26:10.
Hello, welcome to the channel "AFTER ALL, WHAT ARE WE?"
When Jayme had his near-death experience,
he was greeted by beings of light.
Their light was like a zigzag that filled the silhouette of them.
He quickly felt he would be forced to return.
He wanted to stay ...
but he couldn't.
He was pretty much pushed back.
Let us know his story?
Jayme, good afternoon ...
How are you?
First I would like to thank you for kindly ...
receiving us here and now I would like you to tell us the experience you had.
I'd like you to tell us what you think is important in this experience.
All right.
In fact it is an experience that, for a long time,
I only told very few people,
because of many reasons, including ...
how much it was revealing on the one hand, and strange, on the other hand, for me.
Well, some guys approached to me on the street... ...
and in this situation I got hit by a projectile...
on my head.
Right here ... in my ear.
And it happened that the projectile stopped halfway.
It stopped at a bone, that according to what the doctors told me later,
It is the hardest bone in our body.
It's a kind of ... thickening that they even call rock.
and the projectile stopped there.
I fell...
I fell to my side, as people later told me,
and... in this moment...
I had a ... a ...
it was as if I had gone somewhere else.
What else was this ... what it was exactly...
I can not describe it spatially ...
It did not have a ...
let's say I didn't see any walls and that the background was a neutral color ....
I don't know how to define this space.
What existed there that ... amazed me ...
is that I was received by ... what would be people ... but they were not people ... they were ...
they were figures ... beings ... made with a light ...
made of a light ... as if it were a light ... one zigzag light ... in this way.
And then...
There was some understanding ...
nothing was said ... I did not talk to these people,
but somehow I understood what was going on.
It is as if I were being received by those people.
And at some point these people deliberate that I should return.
and I'm practically pushed ... because, curiously, I didn't want to return.
I was practically pushed to come back.
and there is another curious thing I remembered after I was ...
I came back with the feeling that ...
someone had put something like a chip ... a microphone, something in me ...
and I had come back with this ...
well, I attribute the issue of the chip ...
to the fact that I had a projectile in my head ... whatever ...
but the thing is that
I was impelled to come back ... I didn't want to come back.
I was impelled to return ...
and at some moment I found myself awake in the ambulance ...
and then I fainted again ...
then, I continued waking up, fainting, waking up, and fainting again ... anyway ...
It was something fairly quick,
After that, when I was already in the ICU ...
I had a ... I had a ...
this is something complicated to say ...
because it can be quite a conventional dream like any other ...
but I remember talking to my father ...
I cold see the doctors and ... my father.
The doctors were talking about my story...
and my father was with them, debating.
This is something...
I mean ... they are two different situations, one and the other.
As I said, this second situation looks to me like a ordinary dream, as any other ...
I mean, after going through a situation like that, you have a dream.
But the first situation was something very ... very ...
how am I going to say ...
It was very impactful, very different from a dream, so to speak,
and I had clearly the feeling of having ... of having ...
of having had this interaction with these luminous figures.
So, this is basically what happened.
Jayme, were you, at that time, aware ...
of what had happened?
Yes.
that you were out of the body, so to speak, or didn't it cross your mind?
It's all very fast, it's all very fast, I do not know how to describe to you exactly ...
in what state of consciousness I was,
how much I was associating one thing with the other ...
but I I knew what I had passed through, I knew what had happened.
Did you get to see your fallen body? Or did you soon lose consciousness?
I lost consciousness.
You do not remember to have seen your body?
I did not see myself.
And did not you see how you ended up in that place?
No ... I don't know how..
You saw yourself in this place ...
I saw myself in this place ...
and I saw these figures ... I saw these figures.
Human figures?
Did you feel they were human figures?
I... I...
human ... human or humanoid, I do not know, but the fact is ...
they had no ... no ... resemblance to our body, except perhaps a shape ...
a form of a silhouette perhaps of what could be human,
but I remember perfectly this issue of light ...
it was not this thing that you see in movies, of a thing with light, that emanates light.
It was like a zig-zag of light, you know?
Individualized?
- Were there many of them? - Individualized.
There were at least three. At least three or four ...
An they somehow communicated with you ...?
Somehow, but I do not remember neither sound nor words ...
No noise?
but I understood they were telling me I was supposed to return.
I understood that but there was no voice.
There wasn't a sound.
There was not even a lexicon, a set of words I could understand.
But I understood that I was to come back and I said I didn't want to.
And the space was something unlimited... that you don't feel able to describe?
What was it? Was it a meadow, a garden?
Nothing ... there was no ...
There was nothing that were a reproduction of the things we see here, meadow, garden, blue sky ...
It was nothing of that, it was just like I said ...
It was as if it were a place without walls or something without ... without ...
let's say ... with nothing behind, actually.
Although it has been very fast, Jayme, what did you feel?
Were you able to realize if you were okay or not?
I felt very well.
I felt good, so ...
I felt good ... I felt good ... so much that
You were reluctant to return, right?
I were reluctant to return ... I felt good ...
It's not that I felt excitedly good. I felt ... good.
Cool?
Cool, good ...
You didn't feel a communion with the universe ...?
No, I was neither euphoric nor happy, nothing of that ... I was extremely well.
Did you feel any pain?
No Pain.
I had no anxiety.
In fact the description of anxiety I can give is that of the time I came back.
When you felt ...
When I felt compelled to come back.
For me, that was conflicting.
It was something like ... "humpf" ...
If you could avoid it ...
If I could stay, I would.
And then you woke up already in the ambulance?
Then I woke up in the ambulance ... I woke up in the ambulance.
You told the story of your father ... your father is alive, right?
No, my father is not alive anymore.
Ah ... so you had this ... this ...
I had, later in the ICU, the clear feeling of having ... of having ...
- having seen him together, interacting with the doctors? - Together ... interacting with the doctors ...
It's interesting ... my sister, who was very close to me in those moments, during all those days,
she...
A detail: I lost much of my memory ...
I would say maybe 80% of what happened in the first 48 hours.
but she...
I remember the feeling of having interacted with my father ...
and my sister describes as if I had told her that without realizing...
without realizing it was a dream.
When I was in ICU I told this story to her.
I have a vague memory of it ... of my father and the doctors ...
Of the presence of your father?
Yes.
Next to the bed?
Next to the bed.
Did you notice if you were still asleep, unconscious or already awake?
My feeling was of being awake.
Of being awake but ...
It was all clear?
Yes ... yes ... but ... but ...
but I don't have a very clear memory of it.
I vaguely remember ... his figure ...
and this situation of him with the doctors ... it's interesting ...
Did you interact in some way at that moment?
Well, you not even can tell if those doctors were real or not, isn't it?
Yeah, but they were not.
Oh, they were not.
My feeling was that they were but later I knew they were not.
So that didn't exist.
It didn't exist.
That situation absolutely didn't happen ...
objectively within that room, which was an ICU.
Okay.
There was no way any doctors could come in other than ...
those who were taking care of me or the intensivists.
Then there was also this situation out of the ordinary ...
A second episode ...
A second episode and very different, that's why I think ...
it may belong to the world of dreams.
This fits in the box of the world of dreams where ...
are the doctors, I, bruised, hurt,
and the figure of my father who is a figure of reference for me ...
then it is as if he was taking care of me.
This is a narrative that seems to me...
That could be a dream?
It could perfectly be a dream.
The same doesn't happen with the other episode ... the other was very ... very ...
it was a ride in another place ...
a ride ... with figures ... and ..
and there is one curious thing that is this: I was completely agnostic ...
and I remained, I remain,
I have no ... no ...
I have no religious proposition, I have no religious faith of any kind.
But at the same time I think it's clear that our common perception,
our senses are not able to understand everything that happens around us ...
and much less to explain why we are here, what we're doing here.
so I would say it is not the case ...
its not the case ...
of the typical atheist who thinks that simply we have complete control over what happens to us.
Like the saying - "Beyond what we feel nothing exists..."
I don't share this ... militant and radical atheism.
I really think that there are things that are beyond our perception ...
and we are increasingly perceiving more.
And for me, what happened is a proof that ...
something beyond what we perceive does happen ...
And we don't have access to it, do we?
No, we have no access, we have no access.
And did this experience changed you?
You said that from the religious point of view, no,
No.
You remained an agnostic ...
I did.
But did the experience bring some effective change you can report to us? Such as:
"the experience was so striking that after that..."
For me there is a "before" and an "after". It was a "before" and an "after."
Oh, that happened.
Yes.
First of all I think I ... I ...
I made a decision there ...
I don't know how many hours or how many days after the accident ...
but at a certain point I thought and said:
I'm here alive.
I had already fully understood what had happened to me.
And I said: I have a decision to make,
which is as follows:
or I'll be lamenting this complicated city, this ungrateful world, that made me get the projectile,
have my both hands pierced, etc, etc, etc,
and lose part of the hearing ...
or...
my posture will be quite the opposite, that is to say the following:
it's unbelievable I'm alive after going through what I went through.
That is, I received the rest of my life as a gift.
And I chose this second option, I chose it.
At that moment I said: that's what happened to me.
It is not a huge problem caused by the lack of security ... no, it's not ...
what happened to me was a gift.
I received the rest of my life as a gift.
And another thing, which is the result of this is that ...
I found out ... I had an insight into how much we do have ...
desires and frustrations related to things that are absolutely useless.
This desire of having a better car ...
these little material goods that are actually ...
are in fact a large nonsense...
this joke people make about man being a big child ...
and that the only thing that changes is the size of his toys ...
I ... I suddenly looked up and said "that's right ..."
Why do you need to have a bigger car than...
Why do you need to have a car that, beyond ...
the capacity of taking you from one place to another,
it has also... special wheels ... etc ...
all this is a huge nonsense and ...
This is the feeling I had after the insight.
Is it a kind of reflection that you did not do before?
- With this vehemence? - No, no, I did not do it so vehemently.
I did not do it so vehemently.
I usually jokingly say that I threw away the barnacles of the boat, took the barnacles out of the boat.
obviously afterwards they will stick back a little bit ...
but for me it was a ... a ...
It brought to me the idea of simplicity.
the idea of how important is or how interesting is or how you should be curious
about the fact that you are here.
You have to have some curiosity ...
being here should awaken in you some curiosity.
And what happened to me is so ...
It is one of those things you see ...
you hear stories of people ...
for example I remember my father telling a story of a friend of his,
whom he liked very much, back in the 1940s,
who had a furuncle ...
and a friend who was a doctor said:
ah ... go to my office and we'll take it out with local anesthesia, it's easy.
Then the anesthesia is applied on this guy and he has an anaphylactic shock and dies.
That in the blossoming of the existence, 22 years old, something like this ...
and then I think: well, I get a projectile in my head ...
and it is more than that...
When it penetrated my head it caused something that seems unbelievable,
You who are a doctor will go jaw-dropping.
That's what happened:
the carotid artery was ruptured by the heat ... it was ruptured.
If you look at my ultrasound examination you see here one tip, here the other ...
When I arrived at the hospital, when I arrived in the emergency room,
the doctor who attended me, he was a very good doctor,
he is an important neurologist,
and the hospital was in a phase of quality control, because of ISO 9000...
then the guys ... that week ... I was lucky to have that.
that week was a very special thing.
He looked the... image ... I don't know if it was an ultrasound, an x-ray ...
it should be an x-ray, which is faster ...
And then he looked at me and said: it is ruptured, we must immediately make ...
a saphenous bridge in this carotid.
so they got prepared to remove the saphenous vein from my leg ...
then ... they took another X-ray ...
and then the doctor noticed the existence of a peripheral vascularization at the site of rupture ...
which is like that: those two tips have a lot of small veins that connect one end to the other.
According to the doctor, they are vessels that you have ...
but that stop working when you're born, in childbirth, anything like that..
And they were working again, that is, I have this irrigation ...
without having made any surgery.
If you take an X-ray, you will see a ruptured carotid ...
And why did not I die because of it? Because it cauterized, it made TSSS.
At one end and at the other.
It's a crazy thing.
So that was awesome luck,
plus the fact that the hospital was in the ISO 9000 phase,
which made the ambulance arrive very fast,
because usually people would say, "do not call the hospital ambulance in a case like this, "
"Call the SAMU" (Mobile Emergency Care Service) ...
"Call the public service because it is faster".
And in my case the private service was faster.
The doctor who was there was ultra qualified for the same reason,
which is the fact that we were in that special week,
that is, there's also something there beyond the ... issue of ... near-death experience ...
Besides the NDE, there are all these things, this conjunction of little facts that kept me alive ...
and this is something really awesome.
This feeling brings to me the question ...
and it makes me wonder if we would not have some kind of predestination,
no matter how foolish it may seem.
It makes me think a little about the issue of time.
The linearity of time, for me all this starts to get questionable,
I mean, what is it that makes me have this huge series of coincidences ...
that kept me alive,
and a person takes off a furuncle and dies because of it.
And, in my case ...
all these coincidences lead to a ...
a survival ... that in some way I might not even want.
If I were to think of the situation I lived there in that apparent other world ...
then this also makes me reflect
on what would be this human condition and the passage of time ...
if there is not some kind of predestination ...
Some kind of determinism?
Some kind ... that even caused us to be born.
This death would perhaps be a deviation from this ... determination ...
then even you having received a projectile in the ear you do not die ...
Jayme generally people who has gone through a near-death experience speak of a change ...
but due to the experience,
the exit out of the body, meeting with people, etc.
But from what I understood your change is a change caused by the fact itself...
by what happened, by your victimization, which was real,
by your survival in absolutely unexpected medical conditions,
that's what made you change, isn't it?
That's what made me change.
The experience itself, it just gave me a feeling of more breadth of vision ...
It gave me the feeling of having ...
of almost having put my finger on something that is not within ordinary people's reach ...
it gave me a sense of a certain privilege of having experienced it.
But it wasn't something that gave me a ... a ...
A radical change?
It wasn't.
Jayme, in those lights wasn't there ...
didn't you have any feeling that they were people you knew ... who had already died?
No.
Couldn't you see any sign of it?
No, not at that moment ... at that moment I even felt those beings were ... really ...
I had a feeling ... that those beings had something ...
as if they were hierarchically a little superior ... to me.
I mean ... it was not a relationship of equals.
And about the decision of bringing you back?
It was their decision.
Their decision.
That's it.
Did you feel you were being conducted?
I was being pushed, rather than being conducted ... I was being compelled.
Okay. But you didn't get to see your own body in the ambulance, or your fallen body, nothing like that?
No, I didn't.
When you woke up in our world, were you already inside the ambulance?
I was in the ambulance.
Understanding all?
Sorry?
Understanding what had ...
Understanding what had happened, and everything.
And it's funny because I have the sensation... now remembering ...
of having been physically in two different ICUs.
And I haven't been ... in two different ICUs. I've always been in the same one.
Later I went to a semi-intensive unit, I think after eight days.
But ... it's as if this situation where I... was with my father, happened in another ICU.
I am even able to ... see a plan of this, to see how was that place.
And in the ICU I really was, the arrangement of things was very different,
there was a television set up here ... in the ICU where I actually stayed.
It's like I've been through a different ICU ... but I've never been ... I've never been.
I was in that ICU for eight days, then I went to a semi-intensive and then I went to a room.
Some people who have gone through exactly what you went through,
and there are many ... the neurologists know this scenario very well ...
They develop, after a certain time, a religiosity.
it has even been discussed in neuroscience as existing a "God module in the temporal lobe" ...
Yeah, yeah...
pejoratively, naturally,
And I noticed that you said that this aspect in you has not changed at all.
Nothing has changed.
It has not changed and ...
I have...
here is what happens:
all this confirmed to me the idea that ...
the idea that human perception is very limited.
Somehow I experienced and I proved to me something that was already a thesis, a truth, for me
I confirmed it but I don't have ...
how I'll tell you ...
I don't have any rejection by the spiritual aspect, quite the contrary.
I think there is a dimension that we don't know and that I respect ...
I would say the following to you: I am greatly helped by this side of ...
by this other side of ...
by this, in a certain way, unknown side of ...
I mean, if there are some threads leading us from somewhere else I am greatly helped by them,
I would say really greatly.
but one thing I do not agree with ...
is this idea, which I think is pretentious and inadequate, of defining a deity ...
of saying, "oh ... this deity ..."
this ordination that religion places in things, in the first place,
and, in the second place, the collective history of religion.
This is, to me, almost barbaric: to expose your spiritual side to the other ...
in the way that religions expose.
They not only expose but they impose.
They impose a little box and say that that little box is spirituality.
For me ... this issue ... I have a different relationship with it ...
another relationship with it.
But I don't have that Marxist notion that our reality is all that exists.
I do not believe that...
and I think the accident simply proved and made me more sure about this ... this ...
this vision that I have with respect to what is transcendent.
What I think this experience clearly gave me is the confirmation
of the idea that what is beyond the reality that we are able to perceive,
is a much more bulky thing, so to speak, than we can imagine,
and that science itself can imagine.
I think that science has something ...
Science is very self-sufficient.
The scientist is very self-sufficient,
he can not learn from himself ...
that in ten years from now the reality you will have is no longer that the one of ten years before.
The scientist does not learn this, not even with himself.
He does not have the humility to speak: "well, there are things that I do not know but that I will know someday."
One of these things is the near-death experience.
There are so many descriptions, but so many,
that somehow we need to somehow say, "Well, we have to look at this."
Human or humanoid figures?
A lot of information, right?

Wat does helium do with your voice, a flute or bagpipes? - Rapalje Show #34 - Duration: 7:02.
Welcome to another Rapalje Show! And in this episode
we will do another test with helium
This time not with the balloons, but we are we going to do an experiment
to find out what helium does with your voice, a flute or a bagpipes
Now we know that we need 10 balloons to lift a little small
carbon fiber made tin-whistle in the air
But now we're giving away all the balloons to the children
because we have some helium and balloons left
I would like to know if there is a difference with helium
if you play a tin-whistle
or if you play the bagpipes
First I show you what happens when you take helium
in your mouth and and you talk
Now we going to try what happens when you talk with helium
in your mouth from a balloon
But we also want to know what happens if you play the tin-whistle
Is it higher now or not?
It was high, but now it's normal - Very short
Yeah, it was higher, it started higher that's right, yeah
Okay, and now the bagpipes - Yeah
We have some very curious audience here, right now
Here we go, say hi!
Hey!
Let's try helium
on the bagpipes. But we only want to hear one note
It has to be a science experiment
If this is a lousy experiment we do it again some day, in a..
Well, well, alright!
I thought it was higher (lower!) in the end, ah?
A bit - A little bit
After the Rapalje Show before this one we showed you balloons and helium
and T.S.P. Trojan_DC had a suggestion
Maybe an idea to see if David can play an instrument with helium
Let's see how well this goes
And I hope we did well
Normally I'm wearing T-shirts from other bands and festivals
but now I'm wearing a Rapalje T-shirt and this is not a shirt
that was available in our shop until now
This is a lady's shirt and it's called a skinny
And luckily it fits me
And I got something else to try:
This is the way you get our t-shirt when you buy them in our shop at concerts
And I will unpack it because this is another model
for the ladies
There's also a poster inside
This is a spaghetti top T-shirt. It is for ladies
But shall I put it on?
But first I will show this experiment again
and then you can hear if the bagpipes
are higher in the beginning then in the end
A bit - A little bit
It was a little bit higher in the end but we're going to do this again
With more - In our studio and we're going to
take the whole - You need more helium
the whole can and put full of helium yeah yeah and we also take argon
Argon, yeah - Argon, then it goes down
Okay, we will do this experiment again this was on the fly just
for having fun
And the rest of the helium will go to the kids because they love balloons so much
Thank you very much bye
Be easy and free, bye!

So like, only if you want a hug?
ESFP: BITCHES WE'RE HUGGING IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.
ISFP: May flinch with surprise upon contact, but wants a hug.
INFP: Needs a hug.
Wants a hug.
Not going to initiate the hug.
ENFP: Needs a hug.
Wants a hug.
Is probably currently hugging you.
INFJ: Wait, does someone else need a hug?!
Okay!
ENFJ: IS BUSY ASSEMBLING EVERYONE FOR A GROUP HUG, because that is clearly what needs to go down here.

How to Cure Hemorrhoids or Piles at Home - Duration: 14:22.
How to Cure Hemorrhoids or Piles at Home?
Three Parts: Tending to Your Hemorrhoids at HomeGetting. Medical AttentionMaking. Lifestyle Changes. Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are a common condition in which the veins in
the rectum or anus swell, sometimes painfully. You often see these dilated varicose veins during and after pregnancy or in other situations that put pressure on or around the anus. They're most common in adults of 45-65 years, though
men are more likely to get them than women. Hemorrhoids can go away on their own — commonly during pregnancy— but medical attention is necessary if they persist. Simple self-care methods will help you relieve the itching and discomfort
in the meantime.
Part1. Tending to Your Hemorrhoids at Home 1. Keep your anal area clean. Replace showers with a daily warm-water bath while you have hemorrhoids.
Soaking in a warm tub for at least 10 minutes a day will increase your blood flow, soothing pain and speeding up the healing process. You don't have to use soap; in fact, soap could make the problem worse by irritating the affected area.
Because soap remove naturally produced oils it can dry out and irritate the skin. Lingering moisture can also cause irritation, so pat the anal area dry with a cotton ball. You can also dry the area gently using the lowest setting on a hair
dryer.
2. Try a sitz bath filled with warm water. A sitz bath is an over-the-toilet bath for the hips and buttocks that can ease the pain of hemorrhoids, relieve irritation and pruritus as well as relax the anal
sphincter. Rather than simply soaking in warm water, a sitz bath sprays the irritated area with a stream of warm water. These products are available at pharmacies and medical supply stores.
You can add Epsom salts to your sitz bath to further soothe the skin. Add 1 cup Epsom salts for every 2 quarts of water. Soak the affected area for 10-15 minutes in warm water, up to 2-3 times a day.
3. Apply a cold compress to the area. You can either purchase a "cold pack" from the pharmacy or just use ice or a pack of frozen vegetables. Whatever you use for your cold compress, cover it
with a towel so you don't make direct contact with the irritated skin. Applying cold to the irritated area reduces swelling and soothes itching. Apply the compress gently for up to 20 minutes (less is okay)
Remove it if you feel discomfort/pain from the coldness. Repeat 2-3 more times, allowing a few minutes between each application.
4. Use witch hazel. Witch hazel soothes irritation and reduces swelling with chemicals called "tannins." Pure witch hazel is available at most drug stores, though it can come
in different concentrations and application methods. For example, you can buy pads pre-soaked with witch hazel at some drugstores. Application methods and times will vary depending on the product you bought. Follow the instructions that
came with your particular product and/or follow your doctor's instructions. It's best to use pure witch hazel, but you might try a product that mixes witch hazel other substances like soothing oils and aloe. Avoid products with synthetic
chemicals, which may make the hemorrhoids worse. Draw a warm bath and pour in a few capfuls of witch hazel. Soak in the tub until the irritation has eased.
You can apply a diluted witch hazel and water mixture directly to irritated skin up to 6 times a day, or after bowel movements.
5. Make use of medicated creams. Applying hemorrhoid cream can be an effective over-the-counter remedy for hemorrhoid side effects. Hydrocortisone is a steroid cream, and is the most
effective way to combat for "pruritus" (localized itching) after bowel movements. Steroid cream should be applied twice a day for not more than seven days. In theory, it may help reduce inflammation and speed up healing because it's a
steroid — but studies have not yet confirmed this. Even if it doesn't cure hemorrhoids, though, it at least controls the itching that comes with them. Follow the instructions for application on the bottle, and do not apply
hydrocortisone more often than recommended.
Part2. Getting Medical Attention 1. Know when to see a doctor. Medical attention is important if your hemorrhoids are interfering with your daily
life. Furthermore, their symptom can be similar to those of more serious conditions like colon or rectal cancer. Either way, it's important to have a doctor evaluate you if the following occurs:
Symptoms linger after a week of home-treatment Pain or swelling grows severe Bleeding increases or changes in color (from bright to dark red, for example)
Stool changes in size, shape, or color (from brown to tarry black, for example) Tissue from inside the body bulges out from the anus. If it doesn't retract within 3 to 7 days of home treatment, see a doctor.
2. Ask your doctor about prescription medication. Tell your doctor about your symptoms and allow her to assess the area. After evaluation, she might prescribe medication based on:
Pain: hydrocortisone ointment, analgesic sprays - benzocaine, dibucaine Pruritus (itching): hydrocortisone ointment Bleeding: astringent suppositories (Preparation H), hydrocortisone ointment
3. Consider rubber band ligation for internal hemorrhoids. Rubber band ligation is an outpatient procedure and is common technique for bleeding internal hemorrhoids. It is usually effective at ridding you of your
hemorrhoid. The doctor will use rubber bands to cut off blood flow to the internal bundles of hemorrhoids. This causes necrosis (cell death), and the hemorrhoid will eventually slough off.
There are two types of hemorrhoids: internal and external. This is determined by the hemorrhoid's anatomic location to the dentate line. Hemorrhoids are graded 1-5 with 1 being mild and 5 being severe. Symptoms of a hemorrhoid include
bleeding with a bowel movement, fecal incontinence, wetness, irritation and pruritus of the perianal area. Diagnosis is made based upon history, a physical assessment and visualization of the hemorrhoids.
4. Weigh your surgical options. In severe cases, hemorrhoids may not shrink with at-home treatment or prescribed medication. At that point, the doctor may recommend removing the
hemorrhoid "hemorrhoidal artery ligation operation" (HALO). This procedure is effective and usually painless, so it's gaining popularity in the medical community. The more common response to persistent hemorrhoids is a
hemorrhoidectomy, or surgical removal. If you have further complications like prolapse, hernia strangulation, or large anal tags, the doctor will likely recommend surgery.
Although hemorrhoidectomy is a surgical process, it's not a major undertaking. It's usually performed in a relatively casual setting, either in a clinic or in an outpatient setting.
Most hemorrhoids heal within 48 hours with at-home care or prescription medications. Surgical removal should only be considered after those options have proven ineffective.
Part3. Making Lifestyle Changes 1. Learn the common causes of hemorrhoids. You get hemorrhoids when the veins in an area near the anus call the
"hemorrhoidal plexus" dilate. This is an area where a large number of blood vessels connect together, raising the likelihood that pressure will cause dilation and hemorrhoid. Common causes increased pressure that causes hemorrhoids
include: Constipation and straining during bowel movements Chronic diarrhea
Pregnancy Liver Disease, Cirrhosis Extended periods of prolonged sitting. Obesity
2. Avoid straining during bowel movements. Straining increases pressure during bowel movements, making hemorrhoids worse. Dietary changes can help decrease straining: stick to a normal eating
schedule of multiple, small meals. Don't try to pass stool unless you actually feel like you have to, and when you do, decrease strain by using proper technique: Sit with good posture on the toilet, leaning slightly forward with a straight back.
Rest each forearm on your knees Put your feet in a comfortable position, and raise your heels off the ground so you're on your toes
Keep your legs apart so they are not touching Relax your pelvic muscles and anal sphincter as you feel your stool approaching your rectum.
Remember not to hold your breath. Breathe naturally with your mouth slightly open.
3. Drink plenty of fluids. Drinking water helps prevent flare-ups and speeds up the healing process because a hydrated body can digest food better. Your stool will be softer,
causing less strain during bowel movements, reducing the risk of the hemorrhoid enlarging. The Institute of Medicine recommends that men drink 13 cups (3 liters) of fluids
every day, and women drink 9 cups (2.2 liters).
4. Eat more fiber. Fiber helps with constipation which can be a cause of hemorrhoids. Fruits and vegetables with lots of fiber help prevent and cure constipation. When you can
pass your stool easily with less strain, you place less pressure on anal and rectal blood vessels. This prevents hemorrhoids, or speeds up the recovery process if you already have them. If changing your diet isn't an option, you might
try a stool softener or fiber supplement like Metamucil or Critical. In general, women should take in 25 grams of fiber every day, and men 38 grams. Foods to work into your diet include:

5. Avoid foods that will make hemorrhoids worse. Diuretics like alcohol and caffeine increase urination and can cause dehydration. Dehydration can eventually lead to constipation, which can cause
hemorrhoids to flare up or linger. As such, avoid alcohol and caffeine while upping your intake of other, more hydrating fluids like water. Processed foods like instant meals and packaged candy have high amounts of salt, sugar, and
unhealthy fats that can impede digestion. Because these foods can also lead to constipation, you should avoid them at all costs to prevent and cure hemorrhoids.
6. Wear non-restrictive, breathable undergarments. Undergarments made from silk or other fabrics that don't allow the free passage of air can trap moisture around the anal area. This can contribute to hemorrhoid
flare-ups. Instead, wear loose undergarments in a breathable material like cotton to speed up the healing process.
7. Protect the anal region from chemicals. The chemicals found in perfumed and dyed products can cause irritation that worsens hemorrhoids. Avoid using perfumed soaps when bathing, perfumed
detergent when washing your clothes, and do not use perfumed toilet paper. Look for unscented, dye-free products to replace them. Hemorrhoids are already irritating to the surrounding skin, so do what you can avoid extra, unnecessary
irritation.
Tips The practice of washing after a bowel movement every time may help prevent hemorrhoids from reoccurring.
Warnings If you have a severe infection or don't feel relief after a few days, seek medical help and advice from your doctor.
Consult a doctor if you have bleed and pruritus at the anal sphincter. Be sure to clean soap off all areas which you have washed to avoid irritation.
