Top 10 Vintage Viral Internet Videos (Salad Fingers, Charlie The Unicorn) - Duration: 10:19.

Hey YouTube, Jim here!

Welcome to Top10Archive!

Long ago on YouTube - before some of its users were even born in fact - and before YouTube

absorbed countless hours of your day, these vintage videos ruled the internet.

From the incessant animations, impractical cartoons and clever songs – they're all

here in this top 10 trip down memory lane!

10.

We Like the Moon Sometimes the internet provides us with something

that is so incredibly awful that we just can't look away.

In 2002, RatherGood.com gave us such a thing with the music video animation We Like the

Moon by The Spongmonkeys.

It's a very simple video with a very simple premise, likely thrown together with little

to no thought.

The Spongmonkies became such a sensation that Quiznos even used them in a commercial, parodying

We Like the Moon with We Like the Subs.

RatherGood brought the video to YouTube in 2006 where its popularity was reaffirmed with

around 1 million views.

9.

Badger, Badger, Badger Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger,

badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger…

Mushroom, mushroom!

Back in 2003, if you wanted to drive yourself insane, a trip to BadgerBadgerBadger.com was

a good start.

Created by flash animator Jonti Picking, who is known best by his online personality Mr.

Weebl, "Badger, Badger, Badger" has all the makings of an internet sensation: cute

animals, a catchy beat, and an infinite loop.

In 2009, PC World even honored the animation as one of the top 5 internet fads of all time.

The video was uploaded to Weebl's Stuff's YouTube Channel in 2008, and has since garnered

over 24 million views.

8.

Teen Girl Squad Homestar Runner bred a plethora of unique

content that the internet latched onto and fell in love with, but there was a charm to

the Teen Girl Squad that helped it sustain its digital fame over the years.

The exploits of Cheerleader, So and So, What's Her Face, and The Ugly One started as a Strong

Bad Email response to a girl asking Strong Bad to make a comic about her and her friends.

Not ones to disappoint, Homestar Runner creators, The Brothers Chaps, came up with the quartet

of the Teen Girl Squad and launched a 15-issue web comic.

The first video launched at the end of 2002 and featured the squad, a stereotypical group

of teen girls always on the quest to look good, get popular, and crush on boys.

You can find the videos on YouTube, which were uploaded in 2006 and 2007 on a seemingly

now-dead channel called trogdoor17.

7.

Shoes Shoes <beat>.

Shoes <beat>.

Shoes <beat>.

Oh my god, shoes!

YouTube is full of catchy tunes and fun videos, and Liam Kyle Sullivan - posing as an alternate

female personality named Kelly - threw another gem into the mix in 2006.

The biggest difference between Sullivan's offering to the internet than thousands of

others is, well, it caught the eyes of millions upon millions of viewers.

It was originally released as a digital download, but Sullivan moved the incredibly awkward

video over to YouTube in 2007, where it's earned over 60 million views.

6.

Leeroy Jenkins The world of gaming, specifically that of

World of Warcraft, was introduced to one of its greatest heroes in 2005.

With a great battle cry that would be repeated time and time again over the years, the great

warrior, Leeroy Jenkins - controlled by Colorado resident Ben Schulz - stormed into the Rookery

of the Upper Blackrock Spire, hilariously ruining a meticulously thought out plan being

discussed by his fellow clan members.

While the bulk of the PalsForLife clan drew up a battle plan to snag new armor for Leeroy,

the legend himself remained AFK until he deemed it appropriate to strike.

Of course, the entire thing was staged, but that didn't stop Leeroy Jenkins from becoming

a World of Warcraft staple, even showing up in Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.

5.

Amazing Horse Mr. Weebl was not a one-hit-wonder and "Badger,

Badger, Badger" was just part of the beginning of an empire of really, really weird animations.

The catchy tune of "Amazing Horse" is explained to be a song about "how women's

rights have improved as the use of horses for transport has declined."

We're still trying to figure that one out, too…

Uploaded to Weebls-Stuff.com in 2009, "Amazing Horse" spawned a plethora of covers, remixes,

parodies, reposts and rip-offs.

Shortly after its popularity spiked, Digital Gangster member, Denied, registered GetOnMyHorse.com,

stealing Mr. Weebl's work to make a quick buck on ad revenue.

Ironically, when Mr. Weebl moved the video to YouTube, it took more than 6 months for

it to break 200,000 views.

4.

Mortal Kombat Acapella Group It's a song known by many, but there are

so few instances where breaking into the rhythm would be appropriate.

Somehow, in 2007, UC Berkley's acapella group, DeCadence, found themselves in the

perfect scenario when they came across two men sparring in Central Park in New York City.

The group ominously circles around the boxers, causing them to immediately stop in confusion.

Then, something so incredibly epic happened – DeCadence broke out into the Mortal Kombat

theme song.

Almost a half a minute passes before the fighters realize what they have to do – make the

most of the amazing gift they were presented with and resume fighting.

The video was posted by DeCadence's then-Co-Music Director Trent Russi and has since garnered

roughly 3 million views.

3.

Evolution of Dance April 2006, motivational speaker and dancer

Judson Laipply uploaded a simple video titled "The Evolution of Dance."

Within 8 months, the video reached 70 million views, showing that something as simple as

a man in an orange shirt and jeans dancing to generations of music can go viral.

At the time, Laipply's video, which was originally recorded in 2001, was rated as

the 1st most viewed of all time, the first top rated video, and the third most discussed

video on YouTube.

The video features twelve different tunes from 5 decades of music, including "Love

Shack," "Chicken Dance," "Stayin' Alive," "Thriller," and "Cotton-Eyed

Joe."

2.

Salad Fingers Back in 2004, animator, writer, musician,

actor, filmmaker and video artist David John Firth introduced the world to an eerie hunchbacked

zombie-looking creature with "salad fingers".

Premiering on Newgrounds and Fat-Pie.com, the uneasy pacing and tone of Salad Fingers

drew a lot of attention - so Firth launched a 10-part series that has the creepy, titular

character doing really weird things, like running his fingers over rusty metals and

playing with finger puppets.

With how twisted the interwebs can be, it's not too surprising that something like Salad

Fingers would wind up being a viral hit.

1.

Charlie the Unicorn What happens when a clever Flash animator

creates a video featuring a cynical unicorn for his mother's birthday?

Apparently, you get an internet sensation that earns millions of views, a product line,

sequels, and parodies.

Charlie the Unicorn, created by Jason Steele of FilmCow, follows Charlie, who is dragged

into a whimsical adventure to Candy Mountain with two rather annoying pink and blue unicorns,

Lolz and Roffle.

Even though it's been out for over a decade, we'll avoid spoiling the hilarity and the

ending – all you need to know is that this nonsensical tribute to TypeQueen blew up on

Newgrounds.com before being uploaded to YouTube on April 30th, 2006 where its popularity continues

to grow to this day.

Different Language, Different Personality? (Video in Italian & English) - Duration: 7:26.

Weilà weilà raga!

Come state?

Spero tutto bene!

Allora siamo qui al parco oggi, come potete vedere.

E vorrei fare questo video prima in italiano e poi ripeterò tutte le cose che vi sto per

dire in inglese.

Spero di riuscire a non fare moltissimi o tantissimi errori col mio italiano oggi.

Perché stamattina ho parlato un sacco in francese, quindi spero di non fare tanti errori.

Però, ho appena guardato qualcosa su YouTube completamente in italiano.

Così, posso cambiare la mia mente in "Italian mode," per pensare completamente in italiano.

Questo è un trucco che faccio ormai da anni quando voglio parlare bene in italiano senza

avere troppi problemi o senza - I want to say "without struggling" - senza sfuggirmi,

voglio dire.

Ma non so se sia la parola corretta o adatta.

Comunque, guardo prima e ascolto prima qualcosa completamente in italiano.

E poi non leggo, non ascolto niente in inglese così posso avere la mia mente completamente

in italiano.

o in qualsiasi altra lingua.

Comunque, oggi ho una piccola cosa che voglio condividere con te (voi) e voglio - come noi

diciamo in inglese, "I want to open the discussion" - voglio "aprire il discorso" anche a voi.

Per andare dritto al punto, penso si dica, "to go straight to the point" or "to cut to

bene.

Quindi devi stare attento, no?

Quindi è esattamente la stessa cosa così quando parlo in un'altra lingua come l'italiano

e ormai come francese.

Ok?

Dipende tutto dall'audience, ok?

Perché se parlo con un medico, parlo in una maniera diversa che quando parlo con la mia

famiglia, ad esempio.

O se parlo con un italiano è diverso che quando parlo con un americano.

Perché la persona è diversa, viene di un posto diverso, no?

So now for the recap of everything that I just said in English.

This video is about whether or not I feel I have a different personality when I speak

in Italian or when I speak in French, basically just another language.

Now, this is something that's been brought to my attention quite a lot both online and

in person.

Oftentimes people see me speak one minute in English and then the next minute in Italian

and they say "Wow, Tom!

Like, you really changed!

You totally started acting differently!"

And basically, what I think about all of this is I don't have a different personality, I

don't change who I am at my core.

Basically, what happens is depending on who I talk to, that's going to dictate how I'm

going to communicate with them because there's different cultures attached to different languages,

there are just simply different ways that you speak a language, different vocab that

you'll use.

And also your arena, your venue makes a huge difference.

If I'm talking to a room full of doctors at a convention and I'm giving a presentation,

I'm going to address them a little differently than I would when I make a YouTube video and

I'm talking to all of you guys who are fellow language enthusiasts, you know what I mean?

It's just a different audience, it's a different venue, it's a different way of going about

talking.

Like, even think for example in your normal native language, when you make a phone call

to make a doctor's appointment, don't you have like a "phone voice," you know what I

mean?

You kind of act a little different when you're making an appointment?

You know what I mean?

There's just a difference, and so that also transcends into speaking another language.

Simply you just use a different part of your personality.

You act maybe slightly differently because there's a certain way that you act when you

speak another language and that also helps you to be more authentic, to appear and come

off like more of a native.

And just one last thing that I want to include, I know that I'm throwing at you guys a whole

lot of info, but as you can tell I'm very enthusiastic about this topic, right?

Another thing is that depending on who you talk to, you're going to make different references,

for example.

You're going to tell different kinds of jokes.

There are some things that are okay to say to some people but not with other people,

even in your everyday life in your native language.

Same thing when you're speaking a foreign language.

So, enough of me talking, let me know down below in the comment section what you guys

think, I'm very interested to have this be a nice open dialogue, an open conversation.

Let me know what you think!

I hope you liked our little location today at the park with the beautiful buildings in

the back.

I love the contrast of nature and the buildings, man-made stuff - just excites me, it's really

cool.

Always remember to spread the love guys!

Be sure to subscribe if you're new - switching between languages, getting all tripped up

now.

Alright guys, take it easy!

I'll see you soon! Ciao!

Fizzy Fruit | Kitchen Science Testing #2 - Duration: 11:31.

- Have you ever wanted to taste a fizzy strawberry,

a carbonated grape or even a tongue-tangling yoghourt?

Well hopefully today I'm gonna show you how, hopefully.

Hey everyone, hope you're well.

Welcome to My Virgin Kitchen, its Barry.

This is the second video

in the kitchen science testing playlist.

If you missed the snake thing that I made,

check that out after this video.

Some comments on that, not only was it about health

and safety, don't worry, I've upgraded.

There's no naked flame today

and I've got some decent gloves.

Also you guys suggested something called fizzy fruit

and we are trying that today for two reasons,

one because it looks awesome.

There's a video that you guys pointed me to

from people called ChefSteps.

Amazing channel, check it out.

Go have a little ganders and more importantly,

was this Halloween I ordered some dry ice.

I wanted to do a cauldron thing.

It didn't arrive in time.

It's arrived now so we're gonna do some fizzy stuff.

Fizzy fun.

(exhaling deeply)

Looks cool, don't it?

See?

Intentionally bad ice pun.

Alright, I'm going to show you something.

When dry ice melts, it does something different

to normal ice and I'm not the smartest tool in the box.

I didn't do very well at science at school.

Which somehow makes me the perfect host for this, right?

When normal ice melts it turns to water, as you know.

When dry ice melts, hence the cauldron thing

I wanted to do, it turns to CO2, carbon dioxide.

So it's like what's in fizzy drinks, basically.

So this spoon is actually, that's cold, right?

It's quite cold in here but this is warm compared

to dry ice, which is actually minus 70 degrees.

Hence my gloves.

I don't know if you can see the smoke coming off of that.

They're actually dancing a little bit on the spoon.

It's like the Riverdance, spoon edition.

So by putting this into some water,

you get a pretty cool effect and that was basically

what I was trying to do with the cauldron.

(dry ice bubbling)

I've kind of made a poor-man's cauldron, right?

So what's happening is rather than it melting,

this is, wooo, I feel like a witch!

Aah!

(laughing)

It's carbon dioxide.

One thing I don't know, if I.

(inhaling deeply)

Nah, I was gonna see I'd burp a lot,

but, it looks pretty cool.

Oh my gosh, (laughing) is that cool, Rob?

- [Rob] That's cool.

- Rob's watching, going, I'm glad he's got the gloves on.

Look at that!

(dry ice bubbling)

- [Rob] It's instantly froze on the spoon.

- Yeah.

That is proper Doc Brown with the DeLorean, right there.

Holy shmoly.

Alright, the gas has got to stay in there,

'cause that's what's gonna give it the fizz.

I'm not gonna tell you about everything

I've got on the board but basically, to make this work,

you need a high water content food.

So on this board here, as you'll see,

there's some that aren't gonna catch you by surprise

but also a few quirky ones like applesauce.

I think that's gonna be amazing.

We've got some ice lollies.

Not gonna be rocket science if it works

and also yoghourt, which surprises me.

It has a high water content, so it's got a high milk content

so obviously there's water in milk.

Let's do it.

Here's a cool box that I've got off Amazon

for a very, very cheap amount of money.

Now I don't think this lid is gonna do much

but it doesn't matter.

We'll come on to that in just a jiffy.

Let's get it off.

Obviously this is designed for like a cool box,

keeping your food cool.

The dry ice is gonna be a lot cooler

than what normally goes in here.

I don't know how much to add.

I'm just gonna make my own cauldron.

Basically cover the bottom.

Scary thing is, now I can't actually see the bottom.

(giggling)

Aaah!

Little bit more for good luck.

So we don't want the fruit,

wow that mist is cold, baby!

We don't want the fruit touching the ice directly,

otherwise it'll probably cling to it

and do nasty things.

So we've put down a tea towel.

I'm gonna take my gloves off,

'cause I'm feeling kind of protected now

and the fruit is gonna go in.

Gonna nestle the sauce in there and the yoghourt.

I'm gonna try find somewhere where it can,

do you know?

Kind of like on the sand and you put

your deck chair in there?

This is kind of weird.

Pineapple slices.

It's cold in there.

Celery.

I think I'm just gonna get creative

and just chuck the rest in and the ice lollies.

(laughing)

This is so weird.

Right, let's get that sealed up.

Lid goes on, apparently,

and even with the expensive, Amazon-inspired locking device,

it's definitely not sealed enough.

'Cause those gases can seep out, okay?

So we want to really seal them in.

You guys know how terrible I am with cling film.

I'm gonna wrap this, not just around there,

lots of times, all over.

So I'll make sure I'll do it carefully,

so I don't spill me yoghourt.

It proper is falling out.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to receive

a birthday or Christmas present from me,

this is pretty much it.

(laughter)

Nearly wrapping Rob's fingers to it.

(laughing)

- This is gonna look awkward on camera, isn't it?

- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

(laughter)

- Oh, that hole in the bottom of it's cold!

- Is it really?

- Yeah!

Now you've got it.

- This is like a really bad version of the scene from Ghost.

(laughter)

Gotta really, yeah, that's pretty good, man.

Don't think much gonna escape from that.

(Barry huffing)

Here we have it and as I showed you earlier

with the water and the dry ice going in there,

the gas, that's basically happening right in here

and the only way it can really go,

apparently, is into our fruit.

So we're just gonna leave this overnight

and see what happens and I'm gonna take

this wig off for the tasty bit.

See you tomorrow!

Ouch!

(rooster crowing)

Oh, morning guys.

I'm excited.

I'm not gonna lie, I ain't bothering about the wig.

It's not about that today.

I am so excited to open this.

I'm not wearing my gloves

because I'm actually booked-marked a recipe

that's coming up next week, a new playlist.

Hopefully you'll be excited for that.

As we left last night, the gas or some air,

maybe, just a big air bubble was bulging out of this

and Rob and I kind of had this feeling.

We were like, is this gonna explode?

Is that actually the CO2 escaping?

We're not like, burping.

So hopefully it's still in there.

I'm generally really excited.

So let's open this up.

If you guys have enjoyed the video,

don't forget to subscribe for regular recipes

and food fun and of course if you like the science

experiment stuff, let me know down below

any cool ones that you know.

We could have actually done our own homemade dry ice.

I kind of avoided that.

I didn't know if you guys wanted to see it

but, being in England, it's really hard to get it.

So maybe I could show you how to get it,

and this is quite expensive.

So, any ideas, let me know.

It's not cold.

It's like, it's warm.

I don't, you gotta see this Rob.

I don't know, I can't work it out if it's worked or not.

Well the ice is gone.

I think it's worked, you know?

- The.

- The yoghourts like--

- They look weird.

They look different. - They look weird.

- They look different.

(coughing)

- Oh my gosh, there's still a bit of gas in there,

but all of the ice has gone and it is, it's touchable.

So, Rob, come have a little look.

We'll peruse before we get it out.

- [Rob] That looks frozen.

- [Barry] Yeah, that is really cold.

- [Rob] Odd.

- [Barry] The yoghourt is like, curdled.

I don't know if the yoghourt has taken all of the,

because that's like, that's rock-hard.

- [Rob] Is that rock-hard?

- Yeah. - It looks rock hard.

- [Barry] It doesn't look frozen though, does it, as much.

So I guess, oh look, what's happened to the lolly?

It's kind of--

- Disintegrated. - Disintegrated.

- [Rob] It died.

- And this other one's shrunk.

I dunno.

I hope this has worked.

(upbeat music)

Oh my god.

That's like eating a SodaStream.

(laughter)

- Ahhh!

Oh, that's got it.

That's really got it.

- These are going to taste grape.

- Mmmm.

- Yeah, it's sort of. - Really fizzy,

it tastes a bit like gardens.

- It's made them sweeter,

but it's like yeah, sweet gardens.

Yeah, sweet gardens.

- This is literally all I have left of the ice lolly.

Oh wow.

That's blimmin' amazing.

(sproinging sms tone)

Woo!

(laughter)

- Whoa!

That's in there, that's in there.

- Oh my god. - Whoa.

(discontented groaning)

- So strong.

- That tastes like fizzy mud.

- It's the weirdest dessert ever.

- An extremely limp piece of celery

that somebody's already had a bite of.

- I already like celery, anyway.

- Yeah, you put a bit of ice lolly with it.

(laughter)

It's like summer.

- I hate cucumber.

- Oh, that's cold.

That's actually solid.

Oh.

- That's disgusting.

I can't eat it.

- Some fizzy applesauce.

Oh, hoh hoh, that's actually really good.

It's really good.

It sort of like, and again, it's like it makes it

into some sort of pudding or something.

- Ooh, that's nice.

That's turned into like apple sherbet.

- I'm gonna have a big spoonful.

- Mmm.

That'd be really nice with ice cream.

- Yeah.

- It's just cold stuff.

- It's very cold.

- Wow, think I might go to the dentist

to get my teeth checked, 'cause that is, hey, whoa.

- Strawberry.

Ah, that's nice.

That is, I think that's the fizziest one,

for me so far.

Again, it doesn't taste like strawberry anymore.

It's like totally something else,

but yeah, that's really interesting.

- You can feel it's gonna be fizzy.

It feels funny, don't it?

- They're, um.

- Feels all--

- Squidgy.

So cold.

- It's like eating a cactus.

- Wow that strawberry is like eating a stinging nettle.

It doesn't even taste nice, so it's taken

all of the strawberryness out of it

and just shoved it full of carbon dioxide.

- Would you like a blueberry?

- Thank you.

They look completely normal.

Wow.

- Cool, yeah.

- So fizzy.

I like that. - You get a hit afterwards.

- It's weird, it's weird but it works.

Looks like it's got frostbite.

Smells like cheese but let's try the yoghourt.

Oh good gosh.

Urgh!

It's like eating fizzy baby food.

- Anything left?

Would you like to try the yoghourt or not?

- Well I dunno if you wanna try

a bit of this sweet ice lolly.

(laughter)

Mmm, I love ice lollies.

- Thanks for watching then, guys.

I hope you enjoyed the video.

Don't forget to check out that sugar snake video,

if you haven't seen it already.

If you do try this, in all seriousness,

please, please be careful.

It is very dangerous stuff but it's very fun.

So, I'll see you next time

Top 15 Haunted Videos We DARE YOU To Watch - Duration: 23:23.

15.

The Curse of Sarah Black The video, which has been uploaded across

various YouTube channels, is said to be haunted by the spirit of Sarah Black – a young Irish

occultist born in the 20th century.

An occultist is someone who believes in the supernatural, and Sarah not only believed,

but is said to have been able to communicate with those in the beyond.

So why is her spirit haunting a video?

Well, because after one of her occultist rituals failed, she met an early end.

Her spirit left her body and is said to have been interred into this video.

Those who watch this entire haunted video are said to soon pass on as well.

And their passing is not quick and pain-free, like ripping off a band aid; it's slow and

agonizing.

You can counter the curse, but only if you want to be responsible for someone's life.

The only counter curse is to pass the video onto someone else…preferably your worst

enemy.

If you watch this video and feel a headache coming on, beware: you may be next.

Because the curse is said to start with a minor headache, followed by further issues

and, eventually, you're a goner.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

14.

Don't Open Your Eyes This haunted video begins with some Russian

script in white on a black background.

At the bottom, in English, is an order: "Don't open your eyes."

Believe me, you'll wish you heeded that advice.

The video that follows includes a spooky hunched figure walking in grainy footage, one arm

swinging.

A bunch of eerie images follow, including a hand holding a knife, while whoever holds

this knife walks slowly up some stairs.

Then it flashes to someone sleeping in a bed.

A song about a boogeyman plays in the background.

Other eerie images appear, including a creepy clown face, a bathtub with hand prints on

the sides.

And at the end of the video a hand reaches out of the tub.

While the curse may just be that you'll have bad dreams when you go to sleep, the

video does give you the creeps.

You'll feel the boogeyman is under your bed tonight.

Nightmares, anyone?

13.

Deep Web Curse According to YouTuber, Ashen Jackal, this

short 3-second video was supposedly captured from the deep web and is said to be haunted.

In the video, you'll see an image of someone screaming, along with someone else screaming.

Then a raspy voice and some Japanese text flashes quickly.

According to Ashen, the original uploader was called "4" and the video's original

title was "YOU will SCREAM too."

While Ashen notes that he found no reference to the video outside of the deep web, others

in the comments section are trying to unscramble the mystery.

A YouTuber, LaNae Kerr, describes her experience after watching the video: she wrote, "its

dark and cold i was sitting on my bed and i heard a scream i realized it was from the

video and i suddenly passed out and woke up with a ringing in my head and nothing happened

ever since."

Although we don't know what the curse is or where the truth lies, the video sure sends

a shock to your chest in those short three seconds of viewing.

12.

Cursed Universe Ever looked up at the stars and felt that

empty feeling of hopelessness and fear of the unknown.

This video instills that within you.

The content is the very same – a vast universe, stars, blackness, the void – and it takes

you slowly toward nothingness with scratchy, somewhat nature-like music playing in the

backdrop.

At one point, the universe morphs and distorts, appearing like sand.

The creepiest thing about the video is the flashes of imagery, which are so fast, the

viewer can barely understand what they've just glimpsed.

These "subliminal messages" have supposedly made people crazy.

Some viewers describe the video as hypnotic, others as haunted.

Whatever the case, according to the haunted video's description, "People have reported

the sensation of a static tv screen under their skin."

I wouldn't want to know what that feels like, so that certainly sounds cryptic and

haunted to me.

11.

Macabre Mickey Mouse First discussed on 4chan in 2009, this haunted

video appeared on YouTube in 2012 by user, Nec1.

If you have an affinity for Disney, you might want to skip this one.

In the video, a looped clip of Mickey Mouse walking down the street to an ominous soundtrack

plays.

The soundtrack is of a piano, completely out of tune and playing a melody that will set

you on edge.

A sense of dread is felt upon hearing and watching the clip, as the usually chipper

Mickey Mouse wears a somber expression and swings his arms in a disturbing way as he

stares at the ground.

Bit by bit, the clip becomes increasingly volatile, and it appears to be on fire.

Female screams start sounding in the background and, as they come to the forefront, a sinister

smile appears on Mickey's face.

According to some, this was forgotten footage of Mickey from the 1930s.

Here is where the curse comes in.

An editor who was tasked with reviewing old footage allegedly crossed paths with the clip

and went insane after watching it once through.

He is said to have raced out of the studio, screaming, "Real suffering is not known,"

and shortly after took his own life.

When the found footage came to public light, it affected viewers in a similar – though

often not as drastic – way.

10.

karlmayer While Karl Mayer is the German version of

John Doe, with the first and last names being very common in Germany, this video is completely

uncommon.

The haunted video starts with chilling laughter that will put you on edge, straight off the

mark.

Strange chanting begins in the background.

The imagery of two figures zooms slowly in.

The picture changes to a field of flowers that alternates through a series of neon colors.

A flash of Stephen King's It peeking from the sewers, more fields of flowers, more and

more fields, upside down, close ups, all the while the shrill laughing, screeching sounds

in the background.

It becomes loud electric music.

And more images of tunnels and seascapes and other unrelated shots appear.

While this isn't the most fearsome video on this list, it certainly gives some viewers

the creeps.

One YouTuber, Sam, writes, "I feel like I'm being watched."

Others claim the video makes you hear voices.

Others felt agitated, paranoid, and depressed.

Headaches are a common occurrence after watching.

The point is, you'll probably be feeling unwell if you choose to view this haunted

video.

So…just don't.

9.

The Grifter The name, alone, gives me the chills.

This allegedly haunted video appeared on 4chan's /x/ board in around 2009, along with screenshots

of the video in action, posted by user, the_solipsist.

Apparently, the clip included some rather disturbing imagery.

A series of stomach-turning scenes were depicted, along with its soundtrack of unsettling sounds.

According to the 4chan post, the images on the clip were so monstrous, they were unexplainable.

And at the end of the clip, in the universal language of Esperanto, the following was written:

"This child (now a young man) is still alive and lives in a local shelter whose name was

not given.

He never spoke, and still is katatonie [sic]."

Another poster claimed that the video was posted under a foreign link sometime in 2007

or 2008.

The original video was grainy and depicted such menacing images as ancient paintings

melting, creepy forests, a bathtub of maggots, various texts in foreign languages, and similar

macabre visuals.

In the background, a strange murmur could be heard.

Sounds exactly like a video that would be haunted.

And, according to most, it is.

It's been described as a "soul-rending experience".

Many say that super low frequencies and subliminal messages are what cause these symptoms.

Although the video is not making the rounds on YouTube today and the original footage

is apparently hard to track down.

Any footage posted to YouTube, claiming to be clips of The Grifter, is said to promptly

disappear.

8.

Red Mist Similarly to the Mickey Mouse clip that ruined

Disney for us, this one will ruin another beloved cartoon character – Squidward, from

Spongebob Squarepants.

According to the uploader, "Red Mist" is the long lost episode of Spongebob, where

Squidward takes his own life.

The beginning of the episode begins like normal.

Squidward is playing his clarinet, when someone who looks like a creepy hobo knocks on the

door, and an even creepier voice says, "The red mist is coming."

Squidward goes back to playing his clarinet, but awful laughter drowns it out.

He yells at Spongebob and his friend, Patrick, to knock it off.

The sound mutes as they start crying.

The next time Squidward goes to play his clarinet, no music comes out, only irritating clicking

noises, as the video shades to red.

The next scene shows the whole ocean coming to Squidward's clarinet performance.

As he starts to play, people call out, "Boo, you stink!" and march out of the theater.

Squidward's eyes turn red, and he appears depressed for a long time.

He returns home.

In his bedroom, he is again forlorn.

The image starts to vibrate in waves, slow at first and then increasingly faster.

There is static and crying.

As Squidward's face grows in the frame, someone is crying, and another voice taunts,

"Do it!"

At the end, Squidward takes his own life, and he is shown on the floor of his room,

a red splatter on the wall and puddled beside him.

A voice says, "The red mist is coming."

This Red Mist episode is said to possibly be haunted, although how that curse manifests

is not explained anywhere online.

I can only assume that you'll feel sad watching one of your favorite childhood cartoons end

this way.

7.

Mereana Mordegard Glesgorv This haunted video is internet legend, according

to some.

It dates back to its original 2008 upload by YouTuber erwilzei.

The video is creepy enough on it's own.

In it, a man shaded entirely in hues of red stares at the viewer in one of the darkest

staring contests you'll ever have.

Before the video is over, the man starts to fade away with a nightmare grin spreading

across his face.

The video apparently curses anyone who views it in full.

When their story ran, it claimed that if you searched for the video under its title, nothing

would turn up.

The claim goes on to say that the clips that you do find are "only part of the actual

video."

The original was only 20 seconds long, but subsequent videos under the same title last

longer, sometimes two minutes.

Legend has it that the video was removed by YouTube following an onslaught of eyeballs

sent to their main office by viewers claiming they'd ripped them out after watching it

– 153 viewers, to be exact.

That's 306 eyeballs, in total!

Some say that when a member of the YouTube staff watched the video, he screamed for nearly

a minute and, afterwards, could not recall what he'd watched and had to be sedated.

The legend grows even more mysterious, as the IP address of the uploader is supposedly

nonexistent, and the staring man, unidentified.

Watch and decide for yourself.

6.

Satan's Sphinx According to recent legend, a video called

Satan's Sphinx was uploaded online by the U.S. government in 2006.

Like many on this list, the video is filled with unwelcome imagery, with a soundtrack

of earsplitting noises and unsettling murmurs.

The images are said at times to flash so quickly from one to the next that they can't be

differentiated.

The video's finale is simply a flash of light, after the images blur into oblivion.

The horrific video is said to have been a government experiment, testing out mind control

and how subliminal messages can impact our brains.

Lovely to know that, unbeknownst to us, we are the guinea pigs of our governments.

However, when the video is finished, that's where the real heavy stuff takes over.

Viewers claim to have felt intense thoughts and urges to destroy and do very bad things.

Many are said to have gone insane after a single viewing.

After having received such dramatic results, the government quickly shut down the experiment

and erased any trace of it from the interwebs.

However, some claim to have screenshots of the video.

Curious?

You probably shouldn't probe at this one…

5.

The Kleenex Curse Japan is full of mysteries, and this Kleenex

commercial from the 1980s is one of them.

In the ad, a woman and her baby appear.

The woman sits on some straw, with her baby dressed in a red Japanese ogre costume next

to her.

In the background, Jane and Barton's "It's a Fine Day" plays.

Although the song title sounds upbeat and not the least bit creepy, the melody certainly

is unsettling.

In fact, some claim that the words, "dye, dye" in German can be heard in the background

of the music.

Just another spine-tingling detail to add to the rather cryptic imagery of the commercial.

The creepiest part about this ad is that every single member of the film crew who worked

on it is said to have passed away under mysterious circumstances, including the actors.

The actress is said to have been institutionalized, after suffering a mental breakdown, and supposedly

took her own life at the institution.

The baby, too, is said to have passed on shortly after the shoot.

Everyone from the commercial's director to the cameramen purportedly met their ends

by freak occurrences.

Even further, watching the ad is a curse in and of itself.

And if you watch it at exactly midnight, the ad goes whacky and crashes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r7yKaDxGvc One anonymous viewer posted a recording which

showed that the commercial, prior to midnight, played normally, but when they played it at

midnight, the audio slowed to an even more ominous degree and the video started catching,

as though interference was disrupting it.

Before the player completely crashed, a pair of black eyes appear on the screen.

Yikes.

The YouTuber who posted the file, known as "Shrouded Hand," said that their house's

power even went out immediately after the first time they'd watched the file that

was sent.

Even his battery-operated laptop shut off.

Haunted or not, the ad failed, and the company had to pull it after receiving complaints

about the dread it induced.

Understandable.

I've never NOT wanted a Kleenex more.

4.

Creepy Doll In this video of an allegedly haunted doll,

British paranormal investigator, Jayne Harris, asks the possessed Peggy doll questions from

viewers, after receiving several claims that photos of the doll caused some to suffer chest

pain, difficulty breathing, swollen throat, and feelings of nervousness, sadness and loss.

According to Jayne, the doll confirmed to her that she'd passed away of chest pain,

which may explain why the viewers feel the same.

The doll was passed on to Janye after allegedly terrorizing its previous owner.

During the dialogue with Peggy, Jayne asks if she is angry with someone and if that someone

hurt her.

After asking this, there are some knocking noises, after which the doll falls on the

floor.

The video's creators claim that their laptops then froze, and they were unable to finish

the recording.

Jayne is said to have felt nauseous and experienced a headache after this episode, and that Peggy

had been isolated thereafter.

According to the title, the doll is haunted, thus making the video haunted, as viewers

say they've felt physically and mentally unwell after viewing it.

3.

I Feel Fantastic Our long time viewers will remember this one.

The video description states the creator's intention.

The prelude of the description describes how, in Greek mythology, a sculptor, grew disgusted

with the human form after he saw certain women on the island of Cyprus.

These were women who the goddess, Venus, haunted for not worshipping her.

The sculptor was turned off by this, apparently, and after witnessing these women, he couldn't

find live women attractive anymore.

So he decided to sculpt a fake one – a model of beauty – for himself, which became known

as his statue bride.

This "bride" was the height of perfection and purity for him.

In the same vein, the creator of this video built his own statue bride.

The origin of this creation is unknown and has been credited to several different surrealists

and abstract artists.

The video of the statue bride, with unnerving music as its backdrop, has been described

as disturbing and terrifying.

The video's creator does, in fact, appear to be almost worshipping this inanimate "woman."

I suppose if you want truly unconditional love, an inanimate object would be the way

to go.

Hope this one doesn't haunt your dreams.

2.

wpkepkw This random arrangement of letters doesn't

sound like a curse but, supposedly, it is.

According to some, this video cannot always be found when you search for it.

Some viewers claimed to have found and watched it at some point, only to have it disappear

again.

It seems that only if you're meant to find it will you be able to watch it and curse

yourself…although, I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.

Wpkepkw is a blurry video that shows an unidentified figure before a camera.

The figure emits mumbling groans, moaning that grows increasingly louder in volume.

Then, the video just shuts off.

Some say the video was a government experiment gone wrong.

They believe the mystery man is attempting to make a confession, but for some reason,

cannot.

Others believe this is a recording of someone right before they kick the bucket.

So what kind of curse does wpkepkw deliver?

Some claim that the video possesses your computer, and that the images randomly and reappear

on your computer screen.

Someone took it upon themselves to search for the video.

After two weeks, they found it and recorded their viewing of it with a screen capture

program.

They put the screengrabs onto their YouTube channel, "IEEEWire."

The individual confirms that the video possessed their computer by recording his computer screen

using an iPhone.

This recording validates the previous assertion: that the video images continued to randomly

pop up on their screen after watching the video.

The YouTuber said that to get rid of the curse, you'd probably have to delete any speck

of the video from your computer.

Others claim that you can find wpkepkw easily on YouTube (I did, so I'd have to agree),

and that the curse is broken.

So, let's hope that's the case.

1.

Nightmare Curse "You have 20 seconds to stop this haunted

video, because if you don't, this video will give you a horrible nightmare."

This warning sends the viewer into a frenzy.

Stop the video or watch it?

You now only have 10 seconds to choose whether you want to wet the bed or not.

Curiosity always gets the best of us, and you'll probably be watching the minute-and-a-half

video before this night is over.

And when you lay your head down to rest, you'll still be thinking about it.

As you fall asleep, it will seep into your subconscious mind via subliminal messages.

The video begins.

It shows a man walking in reverse.

It shows a statue, close ups of the statues body parts.

The man seems to ask the statue, "Why?"

Images of stone sculptures, candles, birds play in the forefront, while in the background

someone is crying.

Squawking is heard, a bird of some kind.

Images of some sort of ceremony.

A man spits on a statue of a demonic figure.

At the end of the video, there is a claim that "the door is open" and that a friend

who has passed away will pay you a visit.

The text directs you not to talk to or follow your friend in your dream.

It also claims that if you send the video to someone else, the curse will lift and you

won't suffer

the nightmare.
