We're using Google Sheets and we're going to create a to-do list. We're
going to start it off in B5 and we're going to just write some tasks in column
C. Let's start by going to insert check box and then copy that by just
doing ctrl+c. I'm going to go down. Let's just do another three tasks. I'm going to
paste it with control+v. Let's type in a few tasks here. I'm going to grow
a tree. I'm gonna chop down a tree. Maybe a different or a dead tree. I'm
going to build a fire. Then I'm going to roast some s'mores. Now, if you're like
me, when you're done with the task, you'd love to be able to check it off. See it
get a little strikethrough on it, right? Feel like you're accomplishing something.
We're going to do that with conditional formatting and we're going to apply this
formatting to the range of C5 and then all the way down until you're done with
the tasks. So let's do that by doing C5 and then a colon and then just the
letter C. If I hit my tab key to move out of that field, you can see that it
highlighted everything in column C starting a row 5 and down to the end
of where you had things typed. Right now, it's just applying formatting as cells
not empty because that's a default choice. We're going to change that. Click
that, go down to the bottom and do custom formula is. Now this box is waiting
for a custom formula. I left-click into it to put the cursor in it and I hit =.
Whenever you're typing a formula, even if it's in here, you start it with an equals
sign. You can see that the rectangle is surrounded by red. This means it's not
ready yet. It doesn't have a valid formula. But, what we want to do, and we'll just talk
this through. First is, if B5 is checked, we want C5 to be struck through. We're going to
say, if B5 equal to - and so now here's where it a little bit of the magic of
these check boxes comes in. I go over and look at it and I click in here. It says
FALSE in the formula bar. If I check it, it says TRUE.
So that's what's going to drive this formula. We're gonna say B5 is equal to
TRUE. Then, don't do the default. We're going to do a custom format so do the
drop down. We're going to strike it through. We're also going to make it kind of
gray so it looks like it's going away. We can test it before we even click
done so come over here put a checkmark in the cell. Aaaah. That worked pretty well, right?
Kind of cool. Let's do another one. So here's your interactive checklist.
If you want to add something else at the bottom,
it should pick it up because that formatting contains the entire column
after C5. You'll probably have to copy down the checkbox and let's click it. It
worked. So that's your interactive to-do list.
Pretty easy to put together. Really satisfying to use. Have some fun with
it. If you liked that tutorial, there's a lot of others just like it if you
subscribe to my channel in the lower right-hand corner, you'll see them as
they come out. Thanks.

a step-by-step tutorial you'll see I'm doing a screen share here plus for those
who stay to the end I always add bonuses now if you are completely new to IBOtoolbox
and you're asking what the heck is IBO toolbox well it's like Facebook on
steroids and for business people so you can go on IBO toolbox completely free
create a profile for yourself and start to share about your business you can add
videos you can create a free blog there's so much functionality and I've
done several videos on IBO toolbox you can check my playlists there'll be a
link to it on the face of the video and in the show notes below alright so let's
get started so you'll see on the screen I have my IBO toolbox profile I've
already been on IBO toolbox for just over a year and so well established so
if you are new you'll you'll get on the dashboard page you just click edit
profile you scroll down to the bottom of setting up your profile and in step 9
IBO toolbox is being very generous by sharing income from the traffic that
attracts with you many sites like this if they
have Google odds on it the income goes a hundred percent to the person who owns
the site IBO toolbox is a little bit different in that it allows you to add
your own code to your IBO social profile and I have it on the page here step 9 so
really quickly I wanna highlight you get the script and I'll show you exactly how
to get the script from google adsense you copy the script in this box here you
click that you'll comply with the four criteria the most important one that I
want to highlight is that in order for your script to stay active and for you
to earn income you have to be logging on to IBO toolbox on a regular basis every
48 hours otherwise it will become inactive all right so you have to be an
active user of the site then you hit save if you didn't have code here before
it will be a red-letter at the top here I think st. inactive once you hit saving
is done things correctly it will turn to why I have here octave and then your
code will be showing and I want to show you what that looks like this is my
profile here in IBO social and when you scroll down on the bottom midway down
you'll see there's the odd from Google Adsense I'm gonna earn income from if
someone clicks through that link from my IBO toolbox free profile no one key
thing that you might overlooked when you get so that I wanna stress it's one
particular size as you can see from what I showed you is a hundred and sixty
times 600 now if you are not familiar with Adsense it's free to sign up you're
basically partnered with Google to allow them to place ads on your online content
so I am already a member of Google Adsense or I'm already a partnered with
them and so when you go here you click ad units and you'll see I already have
my IDO tool box on here but I'll walk you through the actual steps I just do
that so if you come here you're completely new you'll click add a new
unit you could go text and display select you call it whatever you want to
call it that's called IBO test you will choose vertical banner then 160 times
600 because that's the code you need to copy if you choose anything else when
you hit save you're gonna get an error message on IBO toolbox so vertical
banner 160 times 600 there's a few other options here you can choose it to be
display ads only text ad oneis or both text and ad you can also change your ad
style by clicking the down arrow and choosing what you prefer or what you
think will attract more attention there for more clicks to that ad and then you
hit save and get code oops I have that name already so I'm gonna hit save and
get code and there's my code you copy and paste that code I'm sure this is
under two minutes guys copy and paste the code here click those buttons hit
save and you're done and then every 48 hours which is every two days you want
to log on now if you're not new as I said if you're a relatively new to IBO
toolbox it's a great way it's a great free SEO tool to drive traffic to your
site as I literally log on here almost every day for various reasons be it to
share a video to jump over to my YouTube videos to share a blog post many reasons
as I said I have a playlist of tutorials on this site so feel free to check those
out and if you haven't joined the link to join free is in the show notes and on
the face of this video now here are the bonuses for those of you who stay to the
very end IBO toolbox is an extremely great tool
for helping you to drive traffic to your sites or even if you're just an
affiliate marketer you don't have a site but you want to drive people to your
landing page tremely great way to do that and when
you're new to IPO the best thing to do is set up a profile under your personal
name because it will do business with people but you can also set up a profile
under a key word title for your business so allow that page to write because this
site gets tons of traffic so imagine you create a profile page with a longtail
keyword phrase that relates to your business and relates to and your perfect
or your ideal clients are typically searching when they're looking for your
services or products and you create a profile create a blog content the other
tips and tricks that I share my video it's a great way to up your game on line

Trello launches home, Google Tasks, Asana Timeline, Todoist news & much more! | Pulse - Duration: 4:46.
Hello everyone and welcome back to the software pulse a brand new weekly bulletin all about the latest software and productivity applications
So I really appreciate all the lovely comments from the previous one
I did take into notes there won't be any bouncing screenshots in this one
So thanks very much to all of the people don't mention that in the comments so without further ado guys. Let's dive in
Just before we dive into this episode of the software pulse
Thanks to our sponsor Setapp who is sponsored this full week here on the key productive YouTube channel now setup is a subscription service
For Mac users allowing them access to hundreds of my caps inside of one suite at a set monthly rate
It's pretty impressive application, and you can check out my full review of Setapp in the description below so a big
Thank you to those guys at for sponsoring this week
So the first exciting thing in the news this week is Gmail
Relaunching with a new redesign now. This is the first big redesign since
2011 which is absolutely amazing and it's something that Google are taking a lot of attention to
Now in terms of the new productivity side of stuff you may have seen the bar on the right-hand side now this includes
calendar Google keep and
Tasks, which is a brand new task management application from Google, so that's an exciting update from Gmail
Next up is Trello Trello have basically
Overhauled their homepage the new Trello homepage allows you to see all of the boards you're part of all of the notifications
And even complete dismiss items and star them for later now
It's it really almost like a dashboard to your Trello experience allowing you to see
Essentially a newsfeed of all your activities now in this latest update Trello has even revamped their
Notification Center
Allowing you to see a little more richer notifications and more effective ones
In more Google News we have Google Tasks now available on iOS and Android now the application
Is damn simple it is nothing more than just being him to ant masks shed through them for later in terms of your due date
Adding subtasks and just having this clean design now of course you can have the list view and different lists, but that's really it
Now many people have been asking
What is it compared to Microsoft to do and I would actually put it a little lower in the chance just below Microsoft to do
Maybe due to its mind a function and its theming that it doesn't have
Now guys you're probably wondering what the heck II Becky is happening with the two scheduler now a mere the CEO of todoist
Or duyst has shared a screenshot of what it looks like now just a few little notes. It does look like it's a redesigned
Experience that is a pull up experience allowing you to essentially pick a task and reschedule it
But it looks a little more intricate and to do is seem to be working very hard on it
Now in other news remember the mail cans officially released a drive integration
Now certainly in the Facebook group to keep an active Facebook group, which you can join below
Has been getting excited about this one, so it's definitely worth checking it out now a couple of weeks ago
I'm really slow on this piece of news two weeks ago or so asana released a brand new timeline
function now our friend poor miners over it poor miners
Calm made a full review of this one and his opinions on the platform now the timeline function is pretty impressive
And I'll definitely bring in Paul to get to talk about it in a few more weeks
But it essentially opens our persona to being a bit more of a functional resource outside of just boards and calendar
Now in other news OneNote sadly is shut down their
2016 edition and it's something that many people were getting a bit sad about but that's totally okay
It's just something that OneNote are sort of trying to refine and make better and of course will take time
But in other news Evernote have launched a new Windows 10 edition
And it includes a few more tweaks and updates to the UI making a little bit better anyway guys
Thank you so much for stopping by a huge
Thank you again to Setapp you can check out my full view inscription below
But setups a great resource and it's highly recommended when it comes to Mac users trying to reduce the amount of applications
Anyway guys. Thank you so much for the feedback
I'm looking forward to seeing you next week for the software poles and guys make a great week
Keep it up - and. I'll see you guys very very soon Cheers

Turn a computer on and off using Android and Google Home - Duration: 7:18.
What's going on everybody. Juan here and on today's video I'm going to show you
how to turn your computer on and off from an Android device and also from the
Google home so let's get started. All right so to accomplish this we're gonna need
Tasker, Join, IFTTT, Wake-on-LAN and EventGhost. I do have a full detail article
about this tutorial on my website so if you guys want to open it up while
you're following this video, you can find a link in the description below. All right
so the first thing that we need to do is create 2 IFTTT applets. 1 to turn on
the computer and the other one to turn it off. We're gonna be using the Google
assistant service and Webhooks from IFTTT. For Webhooks we're gonna be using
the Join API URL so we can send the commands to Tasker on an Android device
and to EventGhost in a computer if you guys are new to any of the apps that
we're gonna be using in this video I do have a few videos and also articles on
my website on how to use them. I'm gonna leave some links in the description
below so you can check them out. All right so now let's go to the computer and open
IFTTT click on your username and then click on new applet select this and then
look for google assistant choose the trigger say a simple phrase then on the
first field type turn computer on for the second one enter turn on computer
and for the third one type turn pc on now for the google assistant response
enter turn in computer on and then click create trigger click on that search and
select Webhooks and choose the action make a web request
now on a separate tab go to the following link which is the Join web
interface select your Android device and then click on Join API under the API key
click on show so the key gets display and the URL gets populated under the
text field type pc_on then copy the URL and go back to the IFTTT
website and paste the link under the URL field the whole URL will look like this
now change the method to post and then click on create action. Last but not
least click on finish. For the second applet to turn the computer off follow
the same steps but change the turn computer on to turn computer off also
for the join API select the computer that you would like to turn off and then
for the text field type pc_off. Copy the URL and go back to the
IFTTT website and paste the link under the URL field
now let's create the macro in EventGhost that will turn off the computer
open EventGhost and click on add macro then go into
system power and select shutdown select force close of all programs and then
click OK now we need to add the event that would
trigger the action to turn off the computer
so open the join Chrome extension select send and event goes command then enter
pc_off of and press ok now on the left tab in EventGhost you will see
the shutdown command that we just sent from Join. Drag it to the configuration
tab and drop it in between the force shutdown macro and the force shutdown
action last but not least click on save so the changes take effect ok so we are
done in the computer now let's go to the Android device and set up the
Wake on LAN app we are going to use the Wake on LAN app by Mike webb because it
also works as a plugin for task allowing us to automate the whole process
once downloaded open the app and tap on the plus icon to add a new device from
the list select the computer that you would like to turn on remotely and then
tap Add device all right so we have the Wake on LAN app setup now there's one
last step that we need to follow and is to create a profile that would trigger
the commands to wake up the computer when we ask the Google assistant open
Tasker tap on the plus icon to create a new profile tap on event plug in join
text and text filter type pc_on and then tap ok now go to
variable names and type pcpower back out and create a new task and name it
PC Power
now tap on the plus icon to add a new action then go to plug-in wake-on-lan
and select the computer that you would like to turn on back how completely from
Tasker to save the changes or you can also press the checkmark icon at the top
right corner okay so we don't with all the steps whenever you ask the Google
assistant on your smartphone or smart speaker IFTTT will be listening and will
send a comment to Tasker on your Android device to turn on the computer or to
EventGhost on the computer to turn it off now let's go ahead and test it out
to see if everything is working problem Hey Google. Turn off computer
Turning computer off
Hey Google, turn on computer. Turning computer on
alright so the two commands are working properly now if you have any issues
where wake-on-lan is not turning the computer on, check to see if it's enabled in windows.
To do that going to Start, Search and select Device Manager go into
network adapters select Ethernet controller then go to power management
in there make sure that allowe this device to wake up the computer and only
allow magic packets to wake up the computer are selected also if the
computers restarting on its own after you shut it down
then check the fast startup is disabled so to do that going to start search and
select control panel select power options and then at the top left corner
select choose what the power buttons do if the shutdown settings are grayed out
click on change settings that are currently unavailable
and then uncheck turn on fast startup. All right guys thank you for watching. If
you guys like this video give it a thumbs up. Don't forget to subscribe if
you haven't done so already and I will see you in the next video

Google Chrome WARNING - Popular extensions could be leaking YOUR sensitive data - Duration: 4:00.
Google Chrome WARNING - Popular extensions could be leaking YOUR sensitive data Google Chrome fans have been warned that a number of popular extensions found on the Chrome store could be leaking sensitive data. Google Chrome is without a doubt the most popular internet browser in the world right now.
And it doesn't look like it will be losing that crown anytime soon. Latest NetMarketShare stats for the first three months of 2018 give the search engine giants browser a huge 61.59 per cent market share.
Its nearest challenger is Microsofts Internet Explorer with a 11.93 per cent chunk of the market, followed by Firefox on 10.80 per cent.
Whereas Microsofts newer Edge browser, which is the default choice on Windows 10, lags behind on 4.52 per cent. These stats underline how Chrome's crown as the world's most popular internet browser is undisputed. And fans of Google Chrome have been put on alert after it was claimed some popular extensions were leaking sensitive data.
The study claimed seven out of 17 popular VPN (Virtual Private Network) extensions for Chrome have been leaking DNS data of users. The allegations come from John Mason of TheBestVPN as well as an ethical hacker from Cure53, Hack Read reported.
The VPNs named are used by millions of people around the world. Here is a list of Chrome VPN extensions that are allegedly leaking DNS data: 1. Hola VPN has over 8.7million users while Touch VPN has two million users and Betternet has 1.4million users. For those unfamiliar with the term DNS, it stands for 'Domain Name System' and it is often described as serving as the phone book for the internet.
DNS enables website servers to obtain the IP address from a visitor, which then allows the person trying to view the site to access it. When a DNS leak occurs, it means an ISP can find out what websites a user might be visiting.
In a blog post outlining the findings, Mason explained: "Google Chrome has a feature called DNS Prefetching which is an attempt to resolve domain names before a user tries to follow a link.
"It's a solution to reduce latency delays of DNS resolution time by predicting what websites a user will most likely visit next by pre-resolving the domains of those websites." He added: "Now, the issue is that DNS Prefetching continues to function when pac_script mode is used.
"Since HTTPS proxy does not support proxying DNS requests and Chrome does not support DNS over SOCKS protocol, all prefetched DNS requests will go through the system DNS.
"This essentially introduces DNS leak." Mason said some of the VPN providers affected have been informed and are in the middle of working on a fix.
