lots of sex and we weren't visible to each other and you know we were both
working through stuff we were both actually going through things that we
needed to work out inside of ourselves before truthfully we were ready for each
other and I know for me and I know it was for him too that it was really a
process of falling in love with myself I remember the year before I returned to
dating I literally had a year where I realized that year was the year for me
to fall in love with myself it was really sweet you know it was like okay
it was this huge experience of self-care and what do I need and what's my value
and of course you know in this world of the feminine which I was implementing
into my life work and dating at the time not so much relationships that what does
it mean to be really feminine such that by the time I started dating again and
met Thomas I was really really clear on myself my value who I am and what I
wanted and so was he if you like this sort of perfect collision happened of
two people that were very clear on themselves very aware of themselves you
know we both done 20 30 years of self-transformation work we were ready
and in line with what I teach here which is about feminine power from the inside
out your future partner will find you but if you're wanting to be in the
feminine polarity it's the masculine person that needs to do the hunting and

straight and clear about some things in his life and what he wanted what he was

huge relief to me we were both kind of jaded but we're also very real and
charged about the process and so we could be very real as a person this is
who I am this is what I want the last thing you want to do is you start dating
and you're kind of putting on a whole lot of personality and you're totally
hiding yourself and then things come out later on now of course when they mean
hiding I don't mean you verbal diarrhea on to them about every single piece
about your life and your story what I'm referring to is a hiding of your essence
a hiding of your radiance in fact you want to turn up to the world if you're
ready really shining yourself from the inside out like really shine through
your eyes your ability to love and care showing through your heart who you are
and that you are incredibly valuable in just who you are and what you shine this
is the essence of the feminine that is so adored and valuable by a deeply
masculine man so I know this might have been a different response than you were
sort of thinking of because I'm not big on dating tips and sequences sort of
things so much or writing shopping lists of a man or it's really about you
seating yourself strongly in your queen which in my work is called the true
feminine and you being the most radiant shining beautiful loving soft caring
wild passionate whatever it is that you are version of yourself be real be you

Painting Tutorial | How To Paint a Mountain Scene | Alaska Painting - Duration: 8:49.
hey there it's Ashley here welcome to create full art you know you haven't
heard from me for awhile and that is because I was moving we have moved from
Alaska to an RV and we're going to be traveling to all US states and I'm going
to be painting what inspires me in all those states I'm going to be sharing my
journey with you in my videos I hope you enjoy it
for those who want postcards you can become a createful Art member and there is
a link in the description below there are a lot of benefits to becoming a
member and so I hope you join us today we are traveling to Alaska to paint a
mountain scene so I decided to paint pioneer peak because I got to see it on
my drives in Wasilla and I really enjoyed the beauty that those mountains
portrayed we call it the Matanuska Valley and it's just gorgeous because of
all these farms that are right below this mountain and there's a glacier up
ahead and so there's this glacier River that flows right below the mountain this
is what inspired me to paint this picture because it's one of the things
that I loved about living in Alaska today I'm giving you this tutorial to
inspire your creativity don't worry about using my exact colors brushes
brush strokes use the steps to help you create your very own mountain scene so
the first step is choosing your colors and I'm going to use this plate as a
palette I give myself a great big clump of white in the middle so I don't lay
out all of my colors right away because my colors will dry on here and I don't
want that to happen so I'm going to do one color at a time and then bring in
all the colors
so the second step is sketching your painting okay so what I'm going to do
right now is take this blue make a very light color right here
and I'm going to draw the outline of the mountain as it is notice that I'm using
a flat brush to do this as most mountains are a jagged and I'm not
going to get so precise that I have to make everything perfect okay but I am
gonna look at my mountains and where I want them to lay and try to get my
composition correct I did this all freehand now if that's uncomfortable for
you you can always blow up your mountain and trace it or whatever you feel like
doing but I just like a free style of painting and so this is the way I do it
and I'm just kind of copying my mountains and you just do the same thing
find those shapes within your mountain okay so I sketched out the main ideas so
I've got where the trees are where I'm going to have a certain road where the
eye is going to lead up to my mountains okay and now that I have this sketch
done I'm going to go ahead and paint my background and with my skies I never
make them completely smooth for my own personal style you know it's really
personal how you want your sky but the reason why I want the sun to be coming
from this side is because on these little edges right here that sun is
going to come off of those edges okay and highlight them otherwise they really
don't get highlighted they end up just being really dark and the mountains dark
okay so go ahead and start building up your sky next thing you can do is come
down to these mountains it's a different colors to make these jagged okay see how
I bring in the warm and the cool and I grab another color and I bring it in
okay and I'm just looking at my photo reference and I'm seeing what colors are
bouncing off of these mountains and then I'm coming in and making them
bounce off the mountains right here okay so I have my purple here
and I just come over here and I add that contrast okay I'm just basically
covering the canvas and then adding you know some of the details as I go and I
kind of just work on this section for a little bit then I go to the next section
and I will be layering a lot okay that's what I'm just doing right now is
laying the undertone the basics of what's going on here and basically
what's separating these two is white this is where the snow melts it comes in
here I'm gonna kind of show you where some of the ridges are at and see once I
start putting in that contrast it starts forming the mountain like really quickly
so I basically find the main color and move it across that's I mean that's the
gist of it so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to step away from my
mountain for a minute and come down here and basically put down the main colors
okay feel the green ahhh...feels good I'm going to bring some of that purple down because you
should always bring in some of the color that's up here down here and over on
this side over here because the Sun is mostly through here hitting those and
then this has got a lot of shadow going on ah yes yes okay and this is just the
undercoating remember okay and see how this is just cut off like that that's
why I'm going to bring this up through here make it more of a curved going on
right here not in my reference photo and bring this
across so it doesn't break off so crazy right there
then really the river does go right here anyway you just can't see it that well
in the reference photo okay see how that works right are you ready for the next
step
alright so for this step so you're gonna focus more on the mountain and because
this is going to be my focal point I really want to focus on it so what I
want to do is I'm actually gonna come in and look at my reference photo and
really focus on the details so I come in here and I'm just adding what it's
supposed to be with large brush strokes you can do it however you wish for your
mountains so once you have your mountains to a place that you like them
okay then it's on to the foreground and this
is the next step so the foreground you don't want to have a lot going on
because this is your main focus right basically what I do when you come into
the foreground I always like to start back here this comes in right here with
some trees so I want my trees to point to the mountains okay this this is a
little forest right here Oh looking more like a forest okay
so then right through here there is a lines going this direction cuz it's a
field so I'm just gonna find the lines a little bit more then there's some other
stuff going on over here I don't know it doesn't better da da da just make it
look like something all the time I'm looking back seeing okay what do I want
to do is that what I want to do okay I'm gonna lighten this right
through here just so the eye goes there a little bit better so this step you're
just gonna add in more details but don't get too detailed

I made a huge mistake:
I fell in love with a Dutch man...
and if I knew at that point how hard it will be to speak...
I would cut the relationship off
at that moment!
Each time you meet with a Dutch guy and you speak in Dutch...
he is positively surprised with the fact you try Dutch.
They don't care about the mistakes.
And somehow I think that it even makes guys feel better
that they can show the proper way of saying it.
They can teach you something.
They are like... "Can I explain you this..."
I met a Dutch woman in my home country, in Ireland.
And eventually that us led to here.
My wife and I, we've known each other for 18 years.
And all of a sudden to change from an English spoken relationship
to instantly speaking Dutch is not that realistic.
I attempted it before and we fell over very quickly.
The risk for us is that we keep on talking in English,
because that's what we are used to so far.
So we have a big intention to learn each other's languages.
It's very important.
When I arrived to live here, I put around all my apartment post-its...
everywhere with the Dutch word and the English word.

they can raise awareness and push for change through this association.
For example, last year,
a celebrity in China was attending
her friend's wedding
but during the "闹婚" portion of the wedding
many of the male guests were inappropriate
and sexually harassed the bridesmaids, including the celebrity.
Afterwards, the celebrity
courageously spoke out
and expressed her anger and displeasure.
This incident in China became a public event
that initiated a lot of discussion and debate
In cases like this, I completely support women empowerment
to protect their rights.
3. How is the concept of equality (feminism) viewed in China?
I would say most people believe that
right now both genders are equal,
whether it's legally or morally.
They are equal.
In the past,
during a more male-dominated society,
the status of men may have been higher
but now, women's status are ever-rising.
For example, in an everyday household,
male and female rights and duties are generally the same or equal.
I'm not really sure about this question. I can only express my own opinions,
and speak on behalf of the people around me.
I would say using the word feminism is a little extreme,
and instead, women should pursue equality in society,
which is very understandable.
Most people probably accept this concept.
There aren't as many old-fashion or conservative thoughts anymore.
Although, in less developed rural areas,
people may still treat women as inferior to men.
