Youtube daily is it Apr 28 2018

Contemplative and active saints...

I believe that both have a common trait: they are all saints who use to pray...

they all have prayed to God with all their heart...

You can not be contemplative without unceasingly praying to God,

you can not be active, that is to serve your fellow men, if you do not pray!

It is only by fervent and earnest prayer that the true witness is born!

Because, in fact, the true witness is an inspiration from above...

You know how Savior says to the Apostle: Do not be afraid because it is not you that witness, but the Spirit of your Father,

He will witness through you... So we just have to open our heart...

In the place where God put each of us...

Like flowers which open in the morning their petals to receive the dew,

we also must open our hearts daily to receive the dew of the Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit will inspire each of us on what to do and how to do, what to say...

But without Holy Spirit, without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,

you should know that our work becomes weak and unfruitful...

And I think that's why we often complain and we are unsatisfied, because we do not feel the work of the Spirit,

we put more emphasis on our effort, on what we know, on what we do...

But we can not do anything, the Savior says: without me you can do nothing (John 15:5)!

Therefore, let us insist very much in prayer, in the place where God put each of us...

and in prayer we will receive the inspiration of the Holy Spirit

and we will always do what is good, what is useful for all of us

and, above all, what is for the glory of God...

And if we will glorify God, He also will glorify us... in this age, but especially in that which is to come...

Let the glory be His forever and ever. Amen! Christ is risen!

Leasing Vs Buying A Car (Pros and Cons) | How to Calculate a Car Lease Payment - Duration: 16:11.

Well, yet another week and yet another Finance Friday video.

So as I said last week the car is the most expensive purchase most people make that goes

down in value.

Now with that in mind wouldn't it make sense that you wouldn't want to make a big purchase

on something that is almost guaranteed to go down in value?

What if you didn't actually buy the car at all?

Would that be better for your financial Foundation?

That's what we're going to be talking about today as you can see by the title of the video

today we're going to be talking about leasing versus buying a car.

Hey everyone, Daniel here and welcome to Next Level Life a channel where you can learn about

Investing, debt, retirement, and many other general financial education videos because

the school's aren't going to do it for us.

So if any of those topics sound interesting to you or if you want to learn how to better

handle your money and have more financial freedom be sure to hit that subscribe button

and the bell next to my name to be notified every time I upload a video.

So I thought talking about this would be a good follow-up to last week's video on the

20, 4, 10 rule.

So today I'm going to be talking about what leasing a car is and how it differs from buying

a car, some of the benefits and downsides of both Leasing and buying.

I'll show you how a car lease payment is calculated and then doing a bit of a mathematical

comparison between the two options where I will also tell you how Dave Ramsey says that

car leases charge you an effective interest rate of about 14% or 15%.

This is going to be a bit of a longer video, so let's get started.

So first let's define the difference between Leasing and buying a car.

The best way that I can explain it is to say that leasing a car is basically just renting

the car.

Similar to how you might decide to rent an apartment instead of buying a house.

When you lease a car the lessor or the person holding the lease rents the car to the lessee,

or you, for a specified period of time in return for periodic payments.

Now that sounds in many ways very similar to what happens when you sign a car loan right?

You got the car in return for making regular payments to the loaner.

The difference, of course, is that once you finish paying off the car loan you own it.

However, when you lease a car and the lease term ends you trade the car in and assuming

you sign another lease you get a new one.

This means that at no point in time do you actually own the car.

It is never an asset for you.

Whereas if you were to sign a car loan and make payments the car would be an asset to

you after the final payment is made.

Now, of course, you can decide to purchase the car that you least out right at the end

of the lease, that is an option, but not a whole lot of people do that and we'll get

to why that is later in the video.

But first, let's talk about some of the benefits of leasing a vehicle.

The first benefit that people often point to is that under most circumstances unless

you make a really big down payment when you buy a car the monthly payment on a lease is

generally going to be lower than the monthly payment on a car loan.

And again I will show you exactly why that is when I get to the comparative example but

for now, let's just go through the benefits.

The second benefit that people often pointers that there's no need to worry about selling

your car at the end of the lease term because when the lease term ends as I said is simply

drop the car off at the dealership and either sign a new lease or move on to some other

car buying strategy.

The third benefit to leasing that many people point to is that the car often times remains

covered under a warranty because the lease terms generally don't last more than say 3

or 4 years and sometimes they're even shorter.

And since the warranty on most cars is roughly the same as the lease length or at least the

average lease length you often times have a more predictable total cost of car ownership.

And some leases may even include basic maintenance so if that's the case you're only cost would

be insurance and fuel.

The fourth benefit that many people going to is the small down payment that is required

for a lease.

And you could argue whether or not that's really a benefit but we'll get to that later

in the video.

But for those consumers who don't have a lot of money saved up for a downpayment, it often

seems like a good benefit.

And obviously when you're leasing cars every few years you always have access to at least

nearly the latest technology if not the latest technology goes your car is new.

And for many, this is a huge benefit.

The last benefit that people often point to when it comes to leasing versus buying a car

is the potential tax savings that you may experience.

Although you'll definitely want to check with a tax professional to find out how leased

vehicles are taxed in your area because it does vary from place to place so that may

be a benefit and may not be a benefit depending on your situation.

The downsides to leasing a car are of course the rules and restrictions that seem to pop

up all over the place.

Depending on your lease you may have mileage restrictions, excess wear-and-tear fees, ride-sharing

restrictions, the need to have excellent credit, and possibly even the need to purchase gap

insurance.

Typically you will have mileage restrictions on leases between 9,000 and 15,000 miles per

year and if you go over that you get charged a pretty hefty excess mileage fee which can

range from $0.20 a mile to a $0.25 a mile or maybe, even more, depending on what it

says in your lease.

Now of course I'm told from people who have leased cars that they don't generally check

the amount of Miles you've driven each year but rather if it's say a 3-year lease and

you have 15,000 miles per year that you're allowed to drive they will check it at the

end of the lease and see if you went over 45,000 miles and if you did they will charge

you for the extra miles at that point.

I have not ever released a car so I have to go with what I've heard from people who have

and that's what they've said.

As far as the excess wear-and-tear fees go I'm told that some wear and tear is to be

expected you won't be charged for every minute thing but you are expected to return the car

in nearly its original condition and any customization that you have put on the car needs to be easily

removable.

And in some places you'll also have to be able to show that all recommended Services

were performed on the car at the proper times so I imagine there is quite a bit more paperwork

with this route as opposed to buying a car, which may matter for some but for some others

it may be worth it.

I've also been told that with very few exceptions you need to have top-notch credit scores to

be able to lease a car and leasing companies almost across the board require you to purchase

gap insurance.

And of course the last downsides to leasing a car is that some leases will have early

trade-in fees or penalties and you never hold any equity in the vehicle when you return

it at the end of the lease contract you will have nothing to use as a down payment on your

next vehicle unless you were diligent and saved up during the time that you had the

lease.

And obviously, when you're buying a car the benefits and downsides are flipped.

When you buy a car you don't have any monthly payments after the loan is paid off you don't

have mileage restrictions or any customization or excess wear-and-tear fees and your credit

does not have to be excellent although it would certainly help when it comes to interest

rates on a loan.

However it is generally more expensive in the short-term month-to-month then leasing

is, some dealers will try and talk you into a long-term loan since it makes the monthly

payment look smaller but it usually carries a higher interest rates and of course keeps

you in debt longer which is generally not a good thing, and you may need a pretty hefty

down payment depending on your situation.

So how do you calculate a monthly lease payment?

This is one thing that I wasn't going to do initially in this video but decided that I

should do it because I couldn't find too much information about this in other videos on

YouTube.

First, you'll need a few things.

You'll need the MSRP of the vehicle also known as the sticker price of the vehicle.

Next, you'll need the money factor which is also sometimes called the lease factor or

even a lease fee and you'll usually need to call the dealership that you're looking to

lease the car from in order to get this.

They will likely ask you what brand make and model you're considering leasing so be sure

to have that information ready when you call.

Third, you'll need the term or length of the lease most sites that I researched recommend

leasing for no more than 36 months but there are some specials for 39 months.

But the point is you need to know how long your lease term is going to be.

Once you have that you'll want to find the residual value of the car by asking the dealer

what the residual percentage is for the specific car that you're considering while you're on

the phone with them.

The residual percentage varies of course between dealers in cars but it's usually somewhere

in the neighborhood of 45% to 60% for a 36-month lease.

You also need to find out if there are any fees associated with the lease.

Common fees include registration fees, acquisition fees, and sometimes down payment tax but there

may be others.

And the last thing you'll need is any rebates that are available to you if you have any.

Once you have all that information here's how you calculate your monthly lease payment.

For this example let's say that John is going to lease a car with an MSRP of $25,000.

To keep the math simple will say the residual percentage is 50% and the money factor or

the least Factor will be 0.00125.

He's Leasing and will not make any down payments on the car and he does not have any rebates,

but he does have $1,200 in various fees and has a lease term of 36 months.

Once you have all that information here's how you calculate your monthly lease payment.

The first step is to take your vehicle's MSRP and multiply it by whatever the residual value

is that you are given.

In John's case, that means he takes $25,000 * 50%.

This gives him a residual value of $12,500 for his leased car.

We're going to assume for the sake of this example that he did not negotiate the actual

sale price on a car and instead just purchased it for the sticker price or MSRP.

Therefore Step 2 is to take the sale price and add in any of the fees that you have to

pay in order to get what the car manufacturers called the gross capitalized cost.

In this case, since he didn't negotiate, he paid the MSRP of $25,000 and had $1,200 in

fees.

Therefore his gross capitalized costs are $26,200.

Step 3 is to take any down payment, trade-in equity, or rebates that you might have an

add them together in order to get what they call your capitalized cost reduction.

In John's example, he didn't make any down payments and he didn't have any trade-in Equity

or rebates so his capitalized cost reduction is just going to be zero.

Step four is to take the gross capitalized cost that you figured out in Step 2 and subtract

the capitalized cost reduction you just figured out in step three in order to get your adjusted

capitalized cost.

again in John's case, he didn't have anything in step three so is adjusted capitalized costs

are the exact same as gross capitalized costs cost of $26,200.

Step 5 is to take the adjusted capitalized cost you figure it out and step 4 and subtract

the residual value that you figured out and step one in order to get what they call you

or depreciation amount.

In John's case, his adjusted capitalized costs were $26,200 and his residual value was $12,500.

So punching those into the calculator you find that his depreciation amount for the

car lease will be $13,700.

This number is very important because it's what your base monthly lease payment is going

to be calculated with.

And that's what we do in Step 6 you take the depreciation amount you figured out and step

five and divide it by however many months you are leasing goes for.

In John's case, he had a 36-month lease so he takes $13,700 and divides it by 36 which

gives him a base monthly payment of about $380 a month.

But don't get excited we're not quite done figuring out your actual monthly payment yet

there still a few more steps.

In Step 7 you take the adjusted capitalized cost that you figured out and step for and

add the residual value that you figured out in Step 1 and then you multiply that number

by the money factor.

So in John's case, he had an adjusted capitalized cost of $26,200 and a residual value of $12,500.

So we add those and that gives us $38,700. we then take that $38,700 and multiply it

by the money factor of 0.00125 which gives us a little over $48 a month.

This number is what the leasing companies called the rent charge.

Step eight is where you at that rent charge to the base payment that you calculated in

Step six to get your pre-tax lease payment.

In John's case, this means he takes the $380.56 that he calculated In Step 6 and adds the

$48.38 from Step 7 to get a pre-tax monthly lease payment of $428.94.

Now if you're lucky enough to live in a state that doesn't charge sales tax you're done

calculating your lease payment.

However, if you're like most of us that live in a place that does charge sales tax then

you need to multiply that pre-tax monthly lease payment by the local sales tax rate

where you live to get your total monthly lease payment.

Let's say John lives in Santa Monica California just for the sake of this example they have

a sales tax of about nine and a half percent.

Meaning that he would have to take that pre-tax monthly lease payment of $428.94 and multiply

it by 1.095 to get his monthly total monthly lease payment of $469.69.

So that's how you calculate a lease payment.

Now I know that many of my viewers also watch Dave Ramsey and so you've probably heard

him say that leasing a vehicle is the most expensive way to own a car.

He says that on average the effective interest rate on car leases are about 14%-15% which

is about as high as the average interest on credit cards.

So this is kind of a big deal.

But one thing that I haven't heard him talk about before is how the people calculating

that effective interest rate arrives at 14% or 15% because you certainly don't see anything

on the lease contract that says you're paying 15% interest on this lease.

You see what the money factor is but that's about it.

Well here's how you calculate it.

When John was paying for that lease on his $25,000 MSRP car, the base monthly payments

weren't actually being calculated based off of $25,000 like they would be on a normal

car loan were they?

No, they were being calculated based off of the difference between the cost of buying

the car (after things like registration fees were taking into account) and what the residual

value of the car will be at the end of the lease term, which is obviously estimated by

the leasing company prior to you signing the lease.

In the example with John, the difference between those two numbers was $13,700.

So let's say that for example instead of leasing a car, he decided to buy a car for

the same $13,700 that his base monthly lease payments were being calculated with.

And let's also say that the $13,700 car loan that he signed when he bought the car

was for 36 months and his monthly payments were just under $470, just like they ended

up being for his lease.

If you punch those numbers into a loan calculator and ask it to find you the interest rate on

the loan, you'll see that it comes out to be about 14.2%.

And just for grins and giggles do you want to know how much you would be paying a month

if you bought a $25,000 car instead of leasing it?

Well assuming we go with the averages, the average interest rate on a new car loan according

to Experian is a little under 4.5%, so I'll use that for the interest rate and I'll

say it's a 60-month car loan.

The monthly payment?...

$466.08.

So not all that much different than the lease, except for the fact that you may have some

resale value at the end of the car's run that you can then use for a downpayment on

the next one.

So as you can probably tell, I personally am in favor of buying a car as opposed to

leasing it, but that doesn't mean that my opinion is objectively and universally the

correct one.

For some people, it may be worth taking on that higher effective interest rate in order

to always be driving with the latest technology and not having to go through the hassle of

selling the car at the end of its run.

And that's perfectly fine, my goal with this channel is not to tell you what to do

with your money.

My goal is just to make sure you are aware of what options are out there and do my best

to clear up any mysteries in the realm of personal finance.

Simple DIY Epsom Salt and Essential Oil Bath Soak + Shocking Health Benefits! - Duration: 6:15.

Welcome back everybody!

Today's video is going to be super fun because it's a DIY and who doesn't like DIY's?!

So today we are making this super simple epsom salt, essential oil DIY and it's awesome because

we are saving money in the process by using up those precious last few drops of essential

oils in our empty essential oil bottles.

Plus we are going to be reaping some awesome benefits from epsom salts and the essential

oils.

It's going to be so much fun!

Let's hop right in!

In this video we are also going to be talking about the health benefits of epsom salts so

you might want to stick around for that as well.

So what are you going to need for this super simple DIY?

You are going to need a glass jar, epsom salts obviously, clay which is optional, baking

soda which is optional, and some empty essential oil bottles.

This is so ridiculously easy, I almost feel silly making a tutorial for it, but I was

super excited when I saw this DIY so I wanted to share it with you guys too!

I figured someone out there has to be as weird as me.

So all you have to do is pour in your epsom salts into your jar about half way.

Then add some empty essential oil bottles along with their caps and their droppers.

So before you put your bottles in you want to take off the caps and the droppers and

just throw them all in there.

Then fill the rest up with salt.

Put a few more empty essential oil bottles into the top of the salts and then let it

sit for a few days so that it can absorb all of those amazing essential oils.

Then just add a couple handful's into your bathwater.

It's just so relaxing and amazing because you have this unique essential oil smell because

you have all of your empty essential oils in there and it just makes such a unique,

beautiful scent.

It's just so much fun plus you are getting all of those drops of essential oils out of

there.

It's just so cool!

I don't know why I love it so much, but I do!

So if you want to make this super amazing and detoxing you can add some clay or baking

soda to add some extra detoxing and skin softening goodness if you want to add that.

So what exactly is the health benefits of adding epsom salts to your bath water?

First we need to understand what epsom salt is.

The chemical formula for epsom salt is MgSO4.

This means that it is made up of magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen.

Using epsom salts can help your body absorb these necessary components!

Unfortunately, millions of Americans suffer from magnesium deficiency.

Dr. Axe in his article 9 Signs of Magnesium Deficiency quotes Norman Shealy.

"Every known illness is associated with a magnesium deficiency and it's the missing

cure to many diseases."

Also consider this fact from Dr. Axe: "More than 325 enzymes in our bodies require magnesium

to properly function.

Magnesium stimulates nerve and muscle function, limits inflammation, and improves oxygenation

and blood flow through the body."

Magnesium is obviously very important for the health of our bodies!

Dr. Axe also states some signs of magnesium deficiency including: leg cramps, insomnia,

fibromyalgia, anxiety, high blood pressure, fatigue, headaches, and more!

Ain't no body got time for that….

See what I did there?

Ain't...

no...

BODY!

Funny right?

I know.

He also states in another article that "Magnesium deficiencies contribute to today's high

rates of heart disease, stroke, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, digestive

disorders as well as mental illness.

By boosting your internal magnesium levels through external use of Epsom salt, you can

help improve or ward off many avoidable health ailments."

Not only is magnesium helpful for the body, but by taking epsom salt baths, you are also

detoxing!

In an article by Dr. David Jockers on the TruthAboutCancer.com explains the the pores

we sweat through to remove toxins from the body, also pulls the Epsom salt in.

"Recall the process of reverse osmosis to understand the process which moves toxins

out of the body and pulls magnesium and sulfate inward.

When you soak in bathwater containing epsom salts, reverse osmosis occurs to help cleanse

your body."

By taking epsom salt baths or foot soaks, your body is able to absorb that magnesium!

This can help improve the ailments we talked about earlier, eliminate toxins from your

body, and also help reduce pain and inflammation in your body as well.

I also want to add here that you want to make sure you are buying epsom salts that don't

have any nasty chemicals added into it because now and days I see epsom salts on the shelves

all the time and their loaded with fragrances and stuff that you don't want!

If you are wanting to get epsom salts, make sure you get some that don't have anything

added into it, that its just epsom salt and then you can add essential oils into it to

make it smell really nice.

Then the essential oil is also benefiting your body, unlike fragrances that don't benefit

your body at all and that actually help you feel sicker so you don't want that!

In experience with my own health issues, epsom salt baths really helped me.

I used to wake up in the middle of the night with a lot of muscle pains and specifically

in my legs to the point where I couldn't sleep.

So one of the things that I did often was waking up to take epsom salt baths.

So if it was 2 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because of the pain that I was having,

I would take an epsom salt bath and then after that I would be able to fall asleep and it

really helped a lot so I really recommend it!

I hope you tried this super simple DIY the next time you have some empty essential oil

bottles laying around.

It's super inexpensive and it benefits your body in so many ways!

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE BY

THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: RATHER THAN JUST TOTALLY SURRENDERING OURSELVES

TO GOD AND SUBMITTING OURSELVES TO HIM AND HIS PLAN, WE HOLD

BACK AND WE HOLD BACK.

SO WE'VE GOT ALL THIS BIG JESUS INSIDE OF US, AND WE GO TO

CHURCH EVERY WEEK.

WE GET A LITTLE MORE WORD AND WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE FATTER AND

PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT,

PREGNANT, PREGNANT.

AND SO THEN WE JUST SIT ON THE CHURCH PEWS AND GRUMBLE

AND COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT'S GOIN' ON AROUND US.

AND IT'S ONLY BECAUSE WE'RE NOT GIVING BIRTH TO WHAT GOD

HAS PUT IN US.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: LET'S LOOK AT LUKE CHAPTER 15, BEGINNING IN

VERSE 12, THE STORY THAT WE CALL THE PRODIGAL SON.

VERSE 11 SAYS, "AND THERE WAS A MAN--A CERTAIN MAN WHO HAD

TWO SONS; AND THE YOUNGER OF THEM SAID TO HIS FATHER, FATHER,

GIVE ME--" NOW IF YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH

WRITING IN YOUR BIBLE, I WOULD LIKE YOU, IF YOU HAVE

A PEN IN YOUR HAND, TO DRAW A CIRCLE AROUND "GIVE ME."

"FATHER, GIVE ME THE PART OF THE PROPERTY THAT FALLS [TO ME].

AND SO THE FATHER DID AND HE DIVIDED THE ESTATE BETWEEN

THE TWO SONS.

AND NOT MANY DAYS AFTER THAT, THE YOUNGER SON GATHERED UP ALL

THAT HE HAD AND JOURNEYED INTO A DISTANT COUNTRY, AND THERE HE

WASTED HIS FORTUNE IN RECKLESS AND LOOSE

[FROM RESTRAINT] LIVING."

NOW, YOU KNOW, I WONDER SOMETIMES--WELL, I DON'T WONDER

'CAUSE I REALLY KNOW WHY HE DID IT.

BUT IT'S INTERESTING TO ME THAT THE SON ASKED FOR WHAT HE REALLY

HAD NO BUSINESS HAVING, WHAT HE REALLY WAS NOT MATURE ENOUGH

TO HANDLE AND YET THE FATHER GAVE IT TO HIM.

AND I THINK IT'S BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY THE YOUNG MAN

WAS GONNA LEARN HIS LESSON.

HAVE YOU EVER JUST BEGGED GOD FOR SOMETHING AND HE FINALLY

GAVE IT TO YOU AND AFTER HE DID YOU THOUGHT, "MAN, THIS AIN'T

WHAT I WANTED AT ALL"?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I THOUGHT I WANTED THIS, BUT THIS JUST IS NOT

WORKING OUT.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE LET GOD MAKE THE CHOICE AND SAID, GOD,

YOU GIVE ME WHAT YOU WANT ME TO HAVE."

AMEN?

VERSE 14, "AND WHEN HE HAD SPENT ALL HE HAD, A MIGHTY FAMINE CAME

UPON THAT COUNTRY, AND HE BEGAN TO FALL BEHIND AND BE IN WANT.

SO HE WENT AND HE FORCED AND HE (GLUED) HIMSELF UPON ONE OF

THE CITIZENS OF THAT COUNTRY, WHO SENT HIM INTO HIS FIELDS

TO FEED HOGS.

AND HE WOULD GLADLY HAVE FED ON AND FILLED HIS BELLY WITH

THE CAROB PODS THAT THE HOGS WERE EATING, BUT [THEY COULD NOT

SATISFY HIS HUNGER AND] NOBODY GAVE HIM ANYTHING ANY [BETTER].

THEN WHEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF--" I LOVE THAT, HE CAME TO HIMSELF.

LET'S HAVE A COME TO SELF GATHERING.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY MORE NIGHTS DO YOU WANT TO SPEND WITH

THE FROGS?

HOW MANY MORE PIGPENS DO YOU WANT TO LIVE IN?

YOU SAY, "WHAT'S WITH THE FROGS?"

WELL, WHEN THE PLAGUES WERE COMING ON EGYPT, ONE OF THEM

WAS FROGS.

THEY HAD FROGS EVERYWHERE.

THERE WAS FROGS IN THE BREADBASKET, FROGS IN THE OVEN,

FROGS IN THE DRIVEWAY, FROGS IN THE PALACE, FROGS IN THEIR BEDS.

I MEAN THE BIBLE IS EXPLICIT ABOUT ALL THE PLACES WHERE

THE FROGS WHERE, EVERYWHERE.

EVERYWHERE FROGS, FROGS, FROGS, FROGS, FROGS.

AND SO PHARAOH SAID, "YOU GOTTA GET RID OF THESE FROGS, MOSES.

GET RID OF THE FROGS AND I'LL LET THE PEOPLE GO."

AND MOSES SAID, "WHEN DO YOU WANT ME TO PRAY FOR YOU?

I WILL PRAY AND THE FROGS WILL LEAVE.

WHEN DO YOU WANT ME TO PRAY?" AND PHARAOH SAID, "TOMORROW."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW I ASK YOU, WHY WOULD ANYBODY WANT TO SPEND

ONE MORE NIGHT WITH THE FROGS?

IF YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM TONIGHT, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO

SLEEP WITH THEM ONE MORE NIGHT?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IS ANYBODY TIRED OF LIVING WITH FROGS?

WHATEVER YOUR FROG IS, YOU CAN NAME IT.

I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LIVE IN THE PIGPEN OF LIFE.

WHEN I THINK ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN MY LIFE, OH, GOSH.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OH LORD, HAVE MERCY.

HOW MANY OF YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY?

MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY.

I CANNOT FATHOM WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE IN THE WORLD THAT WE

HAVE TODAY AND NOT KNOW JESUS.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN THAT WOULD JUST BE AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

SO "THEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF," VERSE 17, "AND HE SAID, HOW MANY

HIRED SERVANTS OF MY FATHER HAVE ENOUGH FOOD, AND [EVEN FOOD] TO

SPARE, BUT I'M PERISHING (DYING) HERE OF HUNGER!

I AM GONNA GET UP AND GO TO MY FATHER, AND I WILL SAY TO HIM,

FATHER, I HAVE SINNED AGAINST HEAVEN AND IN YOUR SIGHT.

AND I AM NO LONGER WORTHY TO BE CALLED YOUR SON; NOW [JUST]

MAKE ME--" DRAW A CIRCLE AROUND "MAKE ME,"

'CAUSE SEE YOU'RE GONNA MISS THIS WHOLE THING IF YOU

DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THESE TWO PHRASES.

"MAKE ME LIKE ONE OF YOUR HIRED SERVANTS.

SO HE GOT UP AND HE CAME TO HIS FATHER," WHO WHILE THE YOUNG MAN

WAS STILL A LONG WAY OFF SAW HIM COMING, PREPARED A FEAST,

PREPARED A ROBE, GOT SANDALS FOR HIS FEET, GOT HIM A GREAT RING,

PLANNED A BIG PARTY AND WAS SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM BACK.

BUT HE WENT FROM "GIVE ME" THROUGH THE PIGPEN TO

"MAKE ME ONE OF YOUR SERVANTS."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "GIVE ME, GIVE ME MY MONEY.

GIVE ME WHAT I WANT."

DON'T EVEN ASK GOD TO--YOU KNOW, JUST SAY, "GOD, YOU GIVE

ME--THIS IS WHAT I THINK I WANT, GOD, BUT YOU GIVE ME WHAT YOU

KNOW I'M READY TO HANDLE."

YOU DON'T EVER HAVE TO WORRY, GOD'S NOT GONNA HOLD OUT ON YOU.

I WANT THIS MINISTRY TO BE HOWEVER BIG IT CAN BE AND ME

STILL STAY SANE AND KEEP GOD FIRST IN MY LIFE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I DON'T WANT ANYTHING THAT'S GONNA TAKE ME AWAY

FROM GOD.

AND BELIEVE ME, SOMETIMES WE CAN PRAY FOR THINGS AND THEN THOSE

VERY THINGS CAN TAKE US AWAY FROM GOD BECAUSE WE START PAYING

MORE ATTENTION TO THEM THAN WE DO GOD.

IT'S LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE, THEY HAVE A CHILD AND NOW ALL OF

A SUDDEN THE MOTHER FORGETS THE HUSBAND AND ALL SHE CARES

ABOUT IS THE CHILD.

WELL, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU, HE'S NOT GONNA WANT HER TO HAVE

ANY MORE BABIES.

AND THAT'S WHY GOD CHECKS US OUT A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME,

A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME.

I'VE BEEN AT THIS 37 YEARS.

I DIDN'T JUST WAKE UP ONE MORNING AND ROLL OUT OF BED

AND HAVE THIS HUGE MINISTRY.

GOD CHECKS YOU OUT IN LEVELS AND DEGREES.

AND IF YOU CAN BE FAITHFUL HERE OVER A LITTLE, THEN HE'LL MAKE

YOU RULER OVER A LITTLE BIT MORE.

AND THEN YOU'RE FAITHFUL THERE FOR A WHILE, AND THEN YOU'RE

RULER OVER A LITTLE BIT MORE.

HE WENT FROM "GIVE ME" TO "MAKE ME," BUT IT TOOK A CIRCUMSTANCE,

COME ON NOW, TO GET HIM THERE.

YOU KNOW, I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE PREGNANT WITH GOD'S NATURE.

WE'RE LITERALLY PREGNANT WITH GOD'S NATURE.

NOW I NEED A LITTLE HELP IF I CAN GET IT.

DO WE HAVE ANY PREGNANT LADIES HERE TODAY?

IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, LIFT YOUR HAND UP.

COME ON, IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, NICE AND HIGH,

LIFT YOUR HAND UP, OKAY.

I NEED--OKAY, I NEED SOMEBODY THAT'S JUST BARELY

PREGNANT.

YOU'RE NOT EVEN REALLY SHOWING YET.

COME ON, BE BOLD.

COME AND HELP ME.

COME ON, IF YOU'RE BARELY PREGNANT.

I WON'T MAKE YOU SAY ANYTHING.

AND I NEED YOU.

I NEED SOMEBODY THAT'S LIKE READY TO DELIVER ANY MINUTE.

WE HAVE ANYBODY THAT'S LIKE--DO WE HAVE ANYBODY THAT'S JUST LIKE

SO PREGNANT YOU'RE ABOUT TO POP?

COME ON, ANYBODY.

STUFF A PILLOW UNDER YOUR SHIRT OR--OOH, YOU'LL DO.

COME ON, YOU ARE WONDERFUL.

YES, BRING THEM UP HERE.

BRING THEM UP HERE.

COME ON.

ALL RIGHT, YOU GUYS ARE DOING GOOD.

ALL RIGHT, NOW HERE, JUST STAND RIGHT HERE AND TURN YOUR BELLY

TOWARD THE CROWD, OKAY.

WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO WORK YOU AROUND A LITTLE BIT.

COME HERE, THIS IS GOOD.

THIS WILL WORK, COME HERE.

RIGHT HERE, RIGHT HERE.

RIGHT THERE.

WOULD YOU TAKE THE SHIRT OFF?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OKAY NOW, ALL RIGHT, NOW LOOK THE BIBLE SAYS IN

1 JOHN 3:9 THAT WHEN WE'RE BORN AGAIN, THE DIVINE SPERM OF

GOD COMES INTO US BRINGING US THE NATURE OF GOD.

HE'S LOOK AT 1 JOHN 3:9 WHILE THEY JUST STAND THERE AND LOOK

CUTE FOR A MINUTE.

PLEASE LOOK AT THIS, "NO ONE (BEGOTTEN) OF GOD [DELIBERATELY,

KNOWINGLY, AND HABITUALLY]

PRACTICES SIN."

IT DOESN'T SAY THAT YOU DON'T SIN.

IT SAYS YOU DON'T LIVE IN SIN.

WHY?

BECAUSE GOD'S NATURE ABIDES IN HIM.

HIS PRINCIPLE OF LIFE, THE DIVINE SPERM, JESUS IS

THE DIVINE SPERM OR THE SEED OF ALMIGHTY GOD.

AND WHEN WE'RE BORN AGAIN, THAT SEED, IF YOU WILL, IS PLANTED IN

THE WOMB OF OUR SPIRIT, NO DIFFERENT THAN THE SEED OF THESE

GIRLS' HUSBANDS WERE PLANTED IN THEIR WOMBS AND THEY ARE NOW

PREGNANT WITH THE BABY'S FATHER'S CHILD.

NOW LOOK.

NOW JUST HANG ON.

I MEAN YOU'D NEVER KNOW SHE WAS PREGNANT.

THIS IS WHAT WE'RE LIKE WHEN WE'RE FIRST BORN AGAIN.

IT'S LIKE, "YEAH YOU WHAT?

YEAH, WELL YOU DON'T LOOK ANY DIFFERENT TO ME.

YOU SURE DON'T LOOK PREGNANT."

BUT SHE KNOWS SHE'S PREGNANT AND SHE'S EXCITED ABOUT

BEING PREGNANT.

AND SHE'S ALREADY MAKING PLANS FOR THE BABY THAT NOBODY ELSE

EVEN BELIEVES YET THAT SHE'S GONNA HAVE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OKAY, NOW YOU STICK WITH IT A LITTLE WHILE AND THEN

PRETTY SOON YOU START TO SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

AND SOME OF YOU BEEN HANGING OUT WITH JESUS LONG ENOUGH NOW

YOU'RE STARTING TO SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

COME ON, I LOVE THIS EXAMPLE.

YOU'RE KIND OF LIKE--I MEAN PEOPLE ARE SAYING, "WELL, YOU

KNOW MAYBE SOMETHING IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT WITH YOU.

YEAH, YOU'RE NOT QUITE LIKE YOU USED TO BE."

HANG OUT A LITTLE BIT LONGER AND THEN, MAN, YOU'RE LIKE,

YOU'RE REALLY STARTING TO SHOW.

THEY'RE LIKE, "WOW, THERE'S SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

YEAH, SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO YOU, HMM.

WOW."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW I HAPPEN TO BE A WOMAN WHO CARRIED ALL

MY BABIES 10 MONTHS.

YES, I'M NOT PROPHESYING THAT ON YOU, SWEETHEART.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WHEN IS YOUR BABY DUE?

FEMALE: JULY 22ND.

JOYCE: JULY 22ND OKAY SO, BUT WE'RE JUST GONNA PRETEND FOR

A MINUTE THAT SHE'S OVERDUE, THAT SHE'S BEEN DUE

AND NOW SHE'S OVERDUE.

AND SO THE LONGER YOU STAY PREGNANT, THE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE

YOU GET.

AND YOU FINALLY JUST--COME ON, WALK WITH ME AND HELP ME.

YOU FINALLY JUST KIND OF GET TO THE POINT WHERE YOU'RE JUST

LIKE, "IF I DON'T HAVE THIS BABY PRETTY SOON, I DON'T THINK

I CAN STAND IT."

AMEN?

YEAH, SHE'S LIKE--SHE SAID WHEELCHAIR, THAT'S RIGHT, SO.

NOW HERE'S WHAT I THINK, I THINK PEOPLE

IN THE BODY OF CHRIST AT LARGE ARE PREGNANT AND OVERDUE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU SAY, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE BEEN PREGNANT WITH THE NATURE OF GOD

LONG ENOUGH AND NOW IT IS TIME TO BEAR DOWN AND GIVE BIRTH

AND START WALKING IN LOVE SO THE WORLD CAN SEE WHAT WE HAVE.

THANK YOU, GIRLS.

THANK YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW, LET ME TELL YA, WHEN I CARRIED MY BABIES

10 MONTHS, I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

AND CAN I TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT IS JUST RIDICULOUS?

THERE ARE SO MANY UNHAPPY CHRISTIANS.

WHAT DOES A CHRISTIAN HAVE TO BE UNHAPPY ABOUT?

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HELL.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NO MATTER WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE, YOU HAVE HOPE

OF CHANGE.

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU MESS UP, GOD IS ALWAYS THERE

TO GIVE YOU A FRESH START.

HE SAYS, "I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, BUT I AM WITH

YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD.

I WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU.

I WILL HELP YOU.

I WILL GIVE YOU MY POWER."

YOU'RE ALREADY JUSTIFIED, REDEEMED, MADE RIGHT, SEATED IN

HEAVENLY PLACES WITH CHRIST.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WHAT DO WE HAVE TO BE UNHAPPY ABOUT?

"WELL, MY CIRCUMSTANCES."

WELL, WHY DON'T YOU JUST TRY THIS, "YOU KNOW, GOD,

THIS HURTS SO BAD.

I REALLY WISH IT WASN'T GOING ON.

I DON'T GET IT, BUT I'M GONNA TRUST YOU THAT YOU'RE GONNA

REMOVE THIS WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT AND UNTIL THEN, GOD, JUST

USE IT TO DO SOMETHING WONDERFUL IN ME."

LET'S JUST GET SOME VALUE OUT OF THIS IF WE CAN WHILE WE'RE GOING

THROUGH IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND YOU KNOW GOD DOESN'T HAVE TO BRING SOMETHING

INTO YOUR LIFE IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GET VALUE OUT OF IT WHILE

YOU'RE GOING THROUGH IT.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT GOD BRINGS A BUNCH OF BAD STUFF

INTO OUR LIFE.

I DO BELIEVE THERE ARE TIMES WHEN GOD PUTS US PLACES THAT

WE'D RATHER NOT BE, AND HE PUTS US WITH PEOPLE THAT WE'D RATHER

NOT BE WITH.

YOU KNOW, DON'T PRAY TO LOVE THE UNLOVELY IF YOU DON'T WANT

TO BE AROUND ANYBODY UNLOVELY.

DON'T PRAY TO BE USED BY GOD AND THEN CRAB BECAUSE YOU'RE

THE ONLY CHRISTIAN IN THE PLACE.

JUST IMAGINE IF A WOMAN IS IN LABOR AND SHE KEEPS HOLDING

BACK.

THE PAIN'S ONLY GONNA GET WORSE.

AND WHAT DO THEY TELL YA, "RELAX, BREATHE."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "PUSH."

AND YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE THE DOCTOR A BLACK EYE.

IT'S LIKE--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BUT JUST IMAGINE IF YOU JUST KEPT HOLDING BACK

AND HOLDING BACK, AND I THINK THAT'S WHAT WE DO AS PEOPLE.

I THINK MANY TIMES THE THING THAT WE KNOW THAT GOD WANTS FROM

US, WE THINK IT'S GONNA COST US.

IT'S GONNA TAKE AN EFFORT.

IT'S GONNA MESS UP SOMETHING IN OUR PLAN.

AND SO RATHER THAN JUST TOTALLY SURRENDERING OURSELVES TO GOD

AND SUBMITTING OURSELVES TO HIM AND HIS PLAN, WE HOLD BACK

AND WE HOLD BACK.

SO WE GOT ALL THIS BIG JESUS INSIDE OF US, AND WE GO TO

CHURCH EVERY WEEK.

WE GET A LITTLE MORE WORD.

WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE FATTER AND PREGNANT AND PREGNANT AND

PREGNANT AND PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT.

AND SO THEN WE JUST SIT ON THE CHURCH PEWS AND GRUMBLE

AND COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING ON AROUND US.

AND IT'S ONLY BECAUSE WE'RE NOT GIVING BIRTH TO WHAT GOD HAS

PUT IN US.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: ALL THE MEN GET TO BE PREGNANT TODAY.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I BELIEVE THAT WE'RE PREGNANT WITH LOVE.

AND, YOU KNOW, LOVE IS SEEN IN MANY, MANY, MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.

I MADE A LIST HERE BUT IT'S LIKE LOVE IS SEEN IN BEING PATIENT

WITH PEOPLE, BEARING WITH THE FAILURES OF THE WEEK, BEING

AN EXCELLENT PERSON.

WE'RE SHOWING LOVE WHEN WE GO THE EXTRA MILE, INSTEAD OF JUST

DOING WHAT WE ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DO TO GET BY.

IT'S DOING UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO TO YOU.

LOVE IS KINDNESS.

IT'S FORGIVENESS.

IT'S HELPING PEOPLE.

IT'S GIVING TIME.

IT'S LISTENING.

IT'S GIVING A COMPLIMENT.

IT'S PROVIDING FOR SOMEONE, PRAYING FOR SOMEONE, BEING

FAITHFUL, BEING COMMITTED, BELIEVING THE BEST.

AND I CAN JUST HAVE PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES OF THE QUALITIES

OF LOVE.

I BELIEVE THAT LOVE IS INCLUSIVE, IT IS NOT EXCLUSIVE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: LOVE DOESN'T JUST LOVE PEOPLE THAT ARE LIKE--WE CAN'T

JUST LOVE PEOPLE THAT ARE LIKE US.

YOU KNOW, GOD TALKED A LOT IN THE BIBLE ABOUT HOW TO TREAT

STRANGERS, WHICH I THINK IS INTERESTING.

I MEAN THERE WAS SOME OLD TESTAMENT LAWS ABOUT HOW

TO TREAT STRANGERS.

THEY WERE COMMANDED BY THE LAW OF MOSES TO BRING IN

THE STRANGERS AND TO MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME.

WELL, NATURALLY, WE'RE ALL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH PEOPLE WE KNOW

THAT ARE LIKE US.

BUT THE BEST THING TO DO IN CHURCH IS NOT JUST GET IN YOUR

LITTLE CLIQUISH GROUP.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: BUT KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR SOMEBODY THAT YOU DON'T

KNOW OR SOMEBODY WHO LOOKS MAYBE A LITTLE LOST OR UNCOMFORTABLE

AND GO TO THEM.

IT'S NOT MY FAVORITE THING TO DO EITHER, BUT IT'S WHAT GOD

TOLD US TO DO.

AND SO THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO DO.

AMEN?

NOW SOME OF YOU ARE REAL GOOD AT THAT.

I MEAN PASTOR MIKE, WHO'S BEEN HELPING US, HE'D HAVE NO PROBLEM

AT ALL, YOU KNOW, MAKING FRIENDS WITH EVERYBODY THAT HE'D NEVER

SEEN BEFORE.

MY HUSBAND WOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH IT.

I'D HAVE TO DO IT ON PURPOSE, BUT THAT'S OKAY.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TELLING YOU THAT, YOU KNOW, WE DON'T JUST

GET TO DO WHAT WE'RE COMFORTABLE WITH.

WE DO WHAT GOD TELLS US TO DO.

SO I'M GONNA READ YOU A STORY OUT OF MY BOOK.

IT'S A STORY ABOUT ME, AND I THINK YOU'LL GET MY POINT.

I BELIEVE WE NEED TO BROADEN OUR CIRCLES OF INCLUSION, AND WE

NEED TO MAKE THEM WIDE ENOUGH TO INCLUDE ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE.

"I WAS RECENTLY WITH A PASTOR FROM ENGLAND, AND WE WERE HAVING

COFFEE IN A COFFEE SHOP WITH SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE.

AND I REMEMBER LOOKING AT THE HAIRSTYLE OF THE GIRL WHO WAS

WAITING ON US AND TO BE HONEST, IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE STRANGEST

THING I'D EVER SEEN.

HER HEAD WAS SHAVED EXCEPT FOR ONE ROW OF HAIR GOING DOWN

THE MIDDLE OF HER HEAD THAT WAS STANDING STRAIGHT UP AND WAS

RED, BLACK, BLUE AND WHITE.

SHE ALSO HAD HER NOSE, HER TONGUE, HER LIP AND SEVERAL

OTHER PLACES ON HER EARS PIERCED.

AND I REMEMBER FEELING A BIT UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE SHE WAS

NOT ANYTHING LIKE I WAS.

WE WERE SO DIFFERENT THAT I COULD NOT EVEN THINK OF ANYTHING

TO SAY TO HER THAT SHE MIGHT EVEN REMOTELY RELATE TO.

SO I JUST WANTED TO ORDER MY COFFEE AND TRY NOT TO STARE."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: ANYBODY EVER BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT?

IT'S INTERESTING HOW UNCOMFORTABLE WE GET AROUND

PEOPLE THAT AREN'T LIKE US.

"PAUL, ON THE OTHER HAND, THE PASTOR I WAS WITH, STARTED

UP A CONVERSATION WITH THE GIRL AND THE FIRST THING HE SAID TO

HER WAS, 'I LIKE YOUR HAIR.

HOW DO YOU GET IT TO STAND UP LIKE THAT?'"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "AND I'M THINKING, OH, MAN, DON'T OFFEND HER.

SHE ANSWERED HIM BACK AND THEY WERE LAUGHING.

AND HE CONTINUED THE DISCUSSION WITH HER AND THE AIR BEGAN TO

LIGHTEN UP.

EVERYBODY GOT RELAXED AND SOON WE WERE ALL AT EASE, AND I COULD

FEEL THAT WE WERE ALL STARTING TO JOIN IN THEIR CONVERSATION

AND INCLUDE HER IN OUR CIRCLE.

I LEARNED A HUGE LESSON THAT DAY THAT I'M NOT QUITE AS MODERN AS

I MIGHT LIKE TO THINK THAT I AM, AND I STILL HAVE SOME STINKIN'

RELIGIOUS THINKIN' THAT NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH AND I NEED TO GO

TO A NEW LEVEL OF MAKING ALL PEOPLE, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE

DIFFERENT FROM ME, FEEL COMFORTABLE AND INCLUDED."

AMEN?

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, EVERY GENERATION ALWAYS

GOSSIPS ABOUT THE YOUNGER GENERATION COMING UP UNDER THEM.

I REMEMBER SOME OF THE GOOFY THINGS THAT WE DID WHEN I WAS

A TEENAGER, I MEAN JUST SILLY THINGS.

GIRLS BACK THEN WOULD WEAR A HEADSCARF AND TIE IT IN A KNOT

AND PUT THE KNOT UP HERE ON THEIR CHIN.

WHAT'S WITH THAT?

MAKES NO SENSE.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE LEARNED?

GOD, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ACTUALLY ANOINTS DENIM, NOT JUST

POLYESTER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.

I THOUGHT THE ONLY WAY YOU COULD BE GODLY IS IF YOU WORE

A THREE-PIECE SUIT AND, YOU KNOW, FULL EVERYTHING TO CHURCH.

AND THEN I STARTED NOTICING HOW ANOINTED SOME OF THESE YOUNG

PEOPLE ARE AND WHAT GOD'S DOING THROUGH THEM AND THE PRAISE AND

WORSHIP THEY'RE BRINGING AND HOW THE SPIRIT COMES IN.

AND SO I'VE JUST COME TO THE POINT, I DON'T REALLY CARE IF

THEY DON'T DRESS LIKE ME.

I DON'T CARE IF THEIR HAIRSTYLE'S NOT LIKE MINE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW WHAT?

YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?

WHEN MOSES CAME DOWN OFF MOUNT SINAI AFTER 40 DAYS

AND NIGHTS AND HE CAME DOWN WITH THOSE TEN COMMANDMENTS, I BET

NONE OF US WOULD HAVE WANTED TO HAVE COFFEE WITH HIM EITHER.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: 'CAUSE I BET THERE WAS--HE WAS NOT LOOKING ALL

THAT GREAT.

AND NOT ONLY THAT, THERE'S NOT ONE OF US THAT WOULD HAVE HUNG

OUT WITH JOHN THE BAPTIST 'CAUSE HE LOOKED LIKE A WILD MAN AND

ATE LOCUST AND HONEY AND LIVED OUT IN THE WOODS.

"REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND."

THEY'RE LIKE, "I'M NOT HANGING OUT WITH YOU, BUDDY."

COME ON.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO

WITH IT?

THE CHOICE IS YOURS, ARE YOU GONNA KEEP IT, GIVE IT FOR

SOMETHING USELESS, OR GIVE IT TO GOD?

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT "UNLESS THE SEED FALLS IN THE GROUND AND

DIES, IT ABIDES ALONE, BUT IF IT DIES, IT BEARS MUCH FRUIT."

YOU CAN HAVE A VERY FRUITFUL, SATISFYING, AMAZING LIFE IF

YOU'LL JUST LET GOD DO THE WORK IN YOU THAT HE WANTS TO DO,

AND NOT BE THE CENTER OF YOUR OWN UNIVERSE, AND REALLY

SINCERELY ASK GOD TO USE YOU.

NOW, YOU KNOW, I KNOW THAT WE GOT PEOPLE WATCHIN' THIS BY

TELEVISION ALL OVER THE WORLD IN MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, AND IN

THE MOST SINCERE WAY THAT I KNOW HOW TO SAY IT, I'M JUST PLEADING

WITH YOU TODAY TO STOP JUST TRYIN' TO GET WHAT YOU THINK YOU

WANT ALL THE TIME AND OPEN YOUR LIFE REALLY UP TO GOD.

IF YOU'VE NEVER RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR, THEN ASK HIM TO

COME INTO YOUR HEART TODAY AND FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND CLEANSE

YOU AND GIVE YOU A BRAND-NEW LIFE AND A BRAND-NEW START.

THERE'S A NUMBER ON YOUR SCREEN.

YOU CAN CALL OUR OFFICE AND WE'LL BE HAPPY TO PRAY WITH

YOU AS YOU RECEIVE CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR TODAY.

BUT IF YOU ARE ALREADY A CHRISTIAN AND YOU JUST HAVE

NOT REALLY SURRENDERED TO GOD, I'M ASKING YOU TODAY TO MAKE

A FULL SURRENDER.

DON'T JUST GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY AND PUT A LITTLE MONEY

IN THE OFFERING.

GIVE YOURSELF, GIVE YOURSELF.

GIVE YOUR MONEY, BUT GIVE YOURSELF TO GOD.

ROMANS 12, VERSE 2 SAYS THAT: "WE ARE TO BRING

OURSELVES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, AND OFFER UP ALL OF OUR

FACULTIES TO GOD."

THAT MEANS GIVE HIM YOUR MIND, GIVE HIM YOUR MOUTH, GIVE HIM

YOUR EYES, GIVE HIM YOUR HANDS, GIVE HIM YOUR FEET, GIVE HIM

YOUR HEART, GIVE HIM EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU.

AND SAY, "GOD, YOU DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO IN ME.

I DON'T WANT TO LIVE A USELESS, EMPTY LIFE."

YOU HAVE ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH IT?

TODAY IS A DAY OF DECISION.

AND AS I FINISH, I WANNA SAY THIS.

NOT ONLY IS LOVE THE ONE THING THAT GOD WANTS US TO DO MORE

THAN ANYTHING.

NOT ONLY IS IT WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS MORE THAN ANYTHING,

BUT LOVE IS ACTUALLY SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

IT IS THE BEST WAY FOR YOU TO GET INTO A PLACE WHERE YOU ARE

UNMANAGEABLE BY THE DEVIL.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DO YOU HEAR ME?

HOW MANY OF YOU WANNA WALK IN SO MUCH POWER THAT THERE'S NO WAY

THAT THE ENEMY CAN HAVE ANY REAL EFFECT ON YOUR LIFE?

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: YOU WANNA DO THAT?

THE WAY TO DO IT IS TO WALK IN LOVE.

JOYCE: WELL, AS BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST, HE LIVES IN US.

WE ARE THE HOME OF GOD.

SO I LIKE TO SAY THAT WE ARE PREGNANT WITH THE SEED OF

GOD'S GREATNESS.

I WANNA ENCOURAGE YOU TO GIVE BIRTH TO WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU,

AND YOUR LIFE WILL BECOME SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE AS GOD USES

YOU TO BLESS OTHER PEOPLE.

TODAY, WE'RE OFFERING YOU THE BOOK THAT I'VE WRITTEN CALLED

"LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE."

IT JUST BECAME SO APPARENT TO ME THAT SO MANY PEOPLE REALLY DON'T

LOVE THEIR LIFE.

THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE THEIR LIFE.

AND WE FREQUENTLY HEAR PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY HATE THEIR LIFE OR

THEY HATE THEIR JOB OR THEY HATE WHERE THEY LIVE.

WE SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE THAT ABOUT THE LIFE THAT WE HAVE.

ANYBODY'S LIFE MIGHT BE ABLE TO BE IMPROVED.

AND IN THIS BOOK, THERE'S GONNA BE PRACTICAL STEPS THAT CAN HELP

YOU DO THAT, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO THROUGH LIFE NOT ENJOYING IT.

WE'RE OFFERING THIS TO YOU TODAY FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

OF ANY AMOUNT.

WE TRUST YOU TO DO YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST.

AND I WANNA ENCOURAGE YOU TO LET LOVE BE THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE

ALL DAY LONG.

JOYCE: DO YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR LIFE, OR ARE YOU JUST KIND

OF PUTTING UP WITH IT, GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

DAY AFTER DAY?

YOU KNOW WHAT?

IF YOU ARE, I CAN HELP YOU.

I'VE WRITTEN A BOOK CALLED "LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE,"

AND WITH GOD'S HELP, YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THAT.

What is Manuka Honey and Why is it so Good for You? - Duration: 5:06.

From a flower called Manuka, the bees remove highly nutritious pollen and produce a

variety of honey rich in benefits.

Originally from Oceania, Manuka honey has been used not only to sweeten the palates,

but also as ingredients for care with beauty and health.

See 7 amazing benefits and medicinal uses of manuka honey:

Strength and energy

Because of its sugar content, manuka honey is an excellent source of carbohydrates that

energy for the body.

At the same time, the manuka honey takes advantage other natural sweeteners because it has

a lower glycemic index than many of them, thus avoiding blood sugar spikes.

Immune system

Studies show that manuka honey stimulates the immune system, preventing infections,

such as sore throats and common cold.

Next time you feel the flu is close by, try drinking hot tea

with a tablespoon of manuka honey.

Improves digestive health

Studies have shown that manuka honey is great for the gut because of its properties

prebiotics.

Its oligosaccharides have a positive impact in the proliferation of good bacteria

live in our gut.

In addition, this honey contains beneficial enzymes for various types of problems related to

digestion.

It is recommended to take a teaspoon of honey of manuka about 30 minutes before meals

and before bedtime, to treat digestive disorders such as stomach ulcers, sore throats,

acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis and gastritis.

When the symptoms are reduced, you can take a teaspoon per day as

maintenance.

Antibacterial activity

Just like conventional honey, manuka honey contains antibacterial properties, however,

each type of honey has different levels of these properties.

In the case of manuka honey, the antibacterial compounds present in it are not found in other

types of honey.

For this reason, it is very effective in treating of infections.

Studies have also shown that the use of honey manuka accelerated healing in patients

who underwent surgical procedure.

You can use manuka honey topically in the treatment of skin diseases and wounds.

Manuka honey should be applied directly in the affected area.

In case of nasal infection and sinusitis, try put a teaspoon of manuka honey

in a glass of warm water.

Add the ingredients to an inhaler.

Repeat this procedure daily until that the symptoms disappear.

Antioxidants

Due to its strong antioxidant activity, manuka honey protects the body against

free radical damage, which could lead to cause cell damage and aging

accelerated.

Anti-inflammatory action

Manuka honey is also a potent anti-inflammatory, which can be used in the treatment of pain

in the eyes, in the throat, in the relief of burns and skin irritation.

Some research has confirmed that these properties anti-inflammatory drugs also work in the

of burns and inflammations of the stomach and intestines.

Its benefits also extend to the skin, being a great ingredient for masks

facials that treat different types of problems of skin such as: redness, peeling,

acne and even eczema.

Is It Safe: To Live in China - Duration: 9:28.

This video is brought to you by Honey.

the free browser extension.

We return to our country safety series, following shows on Russia and Mexico.

Today we'll be featuring the most populous nation in the world, and one of the largest

in terms of land mass.

We'll state again that this is by no means an exact science, as living in certain parts

of countries can be more dangerous, and it certainly counts how you choose to live in

a place.

Nonetheless, by checking statistics on crimes, driving accidents, deaths, and even disease,

it may give us an idea of how safe a country is.

We will also check out official government warnings and what people living in these countries

think about their safety.

So, without further ado, welcome to this episode of the Infographics Show, Is it safe: to live

in China.

First of all, we should point out that mainly due to China's thriving economy, it has

become the home to many expatriates.

The latest numbers we can find put the number of foreigners living and working in China

at around 900,000, with the largest groups coming from South Korea, the USA, and Japan.

These are people living in mainland China, aside from the 1.38 billion Chinese people.

In total, there were 59.3 million international visitors to China in 2017, according to the

world tourism organization, making it the fourth most visited country in the world behind

Spain, the US, and France.

With that kind of popularity in mind, we should probably know something about the safety of

China.

Let's have a look at the website Numbeo, which offers all kinds of information for

people wanting to visit countries around the world.

Numbeo gives each nation a score for both crime and safety, which is based on surveys

answered by visitors and expats.

China comes way down the list in 71st place, with a good safety score – placed next to

Canada and scoring better than the US, France and the UK.

It's most dangerous cities according to the surveys are Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing

and Shanghai, but they all come far behind many American cities.

In fact, in terms of what people thought, China scored low for violent crime, moderate

for other crimes, but high for corruption and bribery.

What about official statistics?

Well, some of the murder stats out there are quite old, with 1.1 per 100,000 people being

the most cited number.

That was 13,410 murders in that year.

The average global rate is about 6 per 100,000.

A more recent report we can find puts China's murder rate for 2016 at 0.62 per 100,000 residents,

which is one of the lowest rates in the world.

According to the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of

China Central Committee, there was a 43 percent decline in all violent crime since 2012, although

major traffic injuries and deaths went up by more than 50 percent.

It seems in China much of the crime is related to gang crime, such as drug and human trafficking,

although corruption seems to be endemic.

This might not have any effect on the visitor, but let's see what other governments say

about safety in China.

According to the US Department of State, China is a low-threat location.

Although, it says in large cities such as Beijing, petty crime is quite common.

It gives the example of pickpocketing, credit card fraud, and financial scams.

It also states, "Violent crime affecting the expatriate community most often occurs

in the bars/clubs of Beijing's nightlife districts."

One of the reasons for this is cultural misunderstandings that are sometimes fueled by booze.

Crime in more rural areas, says the US, is not common at all.

Another thing in China – and expat websites are full of these stories – are foreigners

being approached on the street by innocent-looking Chinese girls saying they want to practice

some English.

It's usually men that are the target, perhaps attracted to these cute gals, that fall for

the scam.

They might then be whisked off to a teashop and asked to pay an inordinately high bill

which will be hard to get out of – the cute girl may have large male friends who are in

on the scam.

Foreigners should also be aware that criminals have pretended to be police and have tried

to extort money, and that they may meet criminal gangs if taking home prostitutes.

The British government says 595,000 British nationals visited mainland China in 2017,

and for the most part, the visit was trouble free.

The major criminal incidences include: disputes over taxi fares, and also the scams we already

discussed.

Another thing pointed out is China's strict drug laws, so bear in mind that being found

with drugs on you could mean a lengthy prison sentence.

While China is open to foreigners, and most people are very tolerant, it also says to

avoid political gatherings and that it might not be a good idea to get into political arguments.

The British government says there have been terrorist attacks in some places, such as

Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region, but foreigners are not the target.

There are also some armed criminals wandering around very remote areas on the borders of

Siberia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Laos and Burma.

If anything, it states that visitors have more to worry about in terms of pollution

or even natural disasters such as earthquakes or cyclones.

One thing the Brits do point out is danger on the roads, so let's have a look at that.

According to the South China Morning Post, around 260,000 deaths occur on China's roads

each year, so think about that if you are renting a car or motorbike, especially a motorbike.

Per 100,000 that is 18.8 deaths, which is mid-high on a global scale.

Many countries in Europe have a death rate of under 10, but some countries have a rate

at way over 30.

The US is around 10 per 100,000.

When someone asked the question: Is it safe to drive in China, a Chinese resident said

it can be dangerous, and to beware of overloaded trucks and the fact that many people drive

without a license.

Another Chinese respondent said it's what happens after the accident that can be dangerous,

as people do lash out.

Others said people can be selfish drivers, yet others said it was fine.

One expat wrote, "Driving in China is either utterly terrifying, or amazingly awesome depending

on your state of mind and attitude.

Coming from America, it's not very difficult to get around."

He also wrote that driving can be crazy at times, but there's a method to the madness,

adding that's there is not much safety culture and rules will be broken often.

He added that if an accident does happen, the foreigner is often blamed.

Reading forums about general safety in China, it seems people think it's safe.

According to one American living in Shenzhen, he says it is much safer than New York or

San Francisco.

In fact, most expats praised the safety of China.

An African-American expat named Matthew said use common sense, but stated, "Undoubtedly,

China is the safest country I have ever lived in."

As for racism, according to an Economist article in 2018, China sees racism as a western problem,

but like in many Asian nations, there can be a stigma, or even accidental rudeness,

regarding what people think about darker-skinned people.

This certainly doesn't mean aggressive racism, but more passive ignorance.

From what we can tell, it seems homophobia is much the same.

There is no outward hostility towards gay people, but the country might be somewhat

behind the times in some respects.

The consensus everywhere was that China is mostly safe, even walking at night, relating

to physical attacks.

But one person added that crossing the road can be hair-raising, so don't go thinking

there is anything like a 'pedestrian comes first' policy.

Like many Asian countries, don't walk around thinking cars will stop, and even be aware

that people jump red lights and don't stop at what looks like a crossing.

He talked about the scams we have mentioned, and also that drunken foreigners can be more

dangerous than any locals when on a night out.

Oh, and he mentioned getting sick from the food.

You shouldn't drink tap water in China, 'cos that could give you diarrhea or worse.

In fact, if you are new to China, there's a good chance you'll get some kind of stomach

problem at some point.

The rule of thumb in some Asian countries, especially off the beaten track, is don't

eat street vendor food, but then a million expats would tell you that's being way overly

cautious as they often love the stuff.

As for disease, the CDC recommends some vaccinations, but it depends where you are going.

Perhaps try not to sleep with strangers, and apply mosquito repellent where there are lots

of mosquitos.

China is mainly low-risk or risk free for malaria, but dengue – pronounced dengy – is

common in some areas.

So, there you go.

It's very, very unlikely you'll come across hostility in China and the people generally

don't exhibit violence towards foreigners.

Watch out for those road crossings, and be careful if you choose to drive.

You might also be aware that pollution can cause breathing problems, a stuffy nose, or

general irritation, when levels are high.

If you want a pain-free visit be aware of petty scams and try not to make drug dealers

your best buddies.

That's common sense, and if you have it, you will most likely not have any problems.

We give China a very safe rating, the safest country so far.

That means up until now we have China, Russia and Mexico in that order of safety.

Can YOU Build Your Own Iron Man Suit? (Avengers Infinity War) - Duration: 7:08.

We all at one point or another have considered what it would be like to have superpowers.

To be able to fly or leap tall buildings in a single bound.

While I don't see anyone becoming a mutant and joining the X-Men any time soon, I do

see the possibility of someone using a suit such as the iron man suit and doing some cool

stuff.

This all came into my head while watching the trailer for Ant Man and The Wasp and I

got even more interested in making this video when I saw the trailer for Infinity War (just

keep in mind that we're no where close to making the new Wakanda model iron man suit.).

While the first trailer has nothing to do with Iron Man aka.

Tony Stark, it did bring the thought to my mind.

How Close Are We To Making An Actual Iron Man Suit!!

We're gonna be talking about the practicality of making an iron man suit and the tech involved

with this.

So its gonna get fun.

So this video is going to be broken down into three parts.

1.

Attempts To Make A Similar Suit.

2.

Attempts At Making Individual Parts Of The Suit.

3.

How Much Would It Cost to make an Iron Man Suit.

So, there have actually been a few attempts to make completed iron man suits, but while

none of them have actually been able to launch anyone 100,000 feet into the air, it does

show that it can be possible if worked on hard enough.

A 2017 post showed an example of this.

The man in the suit is Richard M. Browning, an ex-Royal Marine reservist who is, "inspired

by doing things that haven't been done".

The concept in and of itself is actually a pretty cool idea, and the parts function very

well together.

Once enough power can be focused on individual parts of the suit, you would be able to lift

of the ground and gain some form of stability.

One key thing to note though it that this does take some level of skill and training

your muscles is required to use this suit for long periods of time.

According to him "The suit can fly in most locations," despite being capable of flying

at several hundred miles per hour, and at thousands of feet, normal operation sees the

wearer flying at no more than a couple of metres."

It's better to be safe than sorry I guess.

His attempt though is one of the most notable as of recent in developing this concept.

Another example of someone putting the iron man suit concept to the test is this one where

a device known as the flyboard air was used to get the tester to actually fly pretty fast.

Clearly the subject is hovering a good distance from the ground with a max altitude of 3 miles

and moving at very high speeds of up to 155mph.

Obviously it would require a bit of practice before being able to master this but it does

once again prove that it is indeed possible to create something that would function similarly

to an iron man suit.

But while doing research for this video I found a very awesome creator on youtube who

does stuff very similar to this.

That person is James Hobson of the youtube channel The Hacksmith.

One his channel he makes imagination a reality.

From creating a real life captain America shield……to a real life thor hammer…..but

one of the most notable build series on his channel is his iron man series.

While it is not his most popular, what he does is indeed something that would attract

attention.

For a few of these projects he worked with others like himself to get the final version

done, but nevertheless, what the final versions turn out to be is nothing short of spectacular.

He once managed to get an entire iron man suit which while not having all the functionality

of a real one, did actually look pretty accurate and would possibly become a functioning suit

if paired up with the other iron man gadgets which he has either made of helped make.

One of this gadgets is the propulsion system which he made, and that bring again the idea

of flight similar to that or iron man, to a reality.

Which some of the parts of this propulsion system may be a little bit too bulky to put

in a regular iron man suit, it would still be a good concept for a version one of an

iron man suit.

While not getting into the specifics, its clear to see that these functioning parts

for thrusters can indeed be used to life him up a considerable height, and if paired with

any of the previous propulsion tech which I have shown in this video, the perfect propulsion

system might actually be able to turn into a reality.

He was even able to show a pretty cool iron man rocket launcher device made by one of

his friends.

Again, while still just a concept, the rocket launcher itself could easily be embedded into

a real iron man suit and maintain functionality.

But still it was a really cool concept and if used by someone who knows what they're

doing, this could actually be really useful.

Another notable piece of gear which was featured on his channel was a super cool iron man hud.

This was developed by a few college students and it worked better than just a concept.

It worked though a Microsoft hololense headset and managed to project a hologram using the

headset that would function in a similar way to ironman's hud system.

Technically anyway.

There were a few bugs in getting the system to fit properly into a headset but if developed

far enough it could become an extremely useful device.

I could see members of armies around the world using this tech to help with depth and distance

measurements.

Or even just being useful to people working on construction sites or projects where this

kind of tech is useful.

Of course, all this is really cool, but the fact of the matter is that its not gonna be

cheap.

All this costs hundreds of thousands of dollars just as prototypes, and upon doing a little

bit of research into this a rough estimate for the cost to build a complete fully functioning

iron man suit would be anywhere from $1-$10 Billion.

Maybe even more.

And a lot more money would need to be invested in maintaining the suit and training the individual

who would use it.

It is possible to make an iron man suit at this point in time, but that would require

a lot of research and a lot of investment.

But that's it for today's video, a bit of a long one but if you stuck along for the

ride, then thank you.

I have one question though.

What do you think of the possibility of making an iron man suit at this point in time.

THE NEXT GREAT SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION IS UPON US. AND IT'S FREAKING PEOPLE OUT - Duration: 7:00.

THE NEXT GREAT SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION IS UPON US.

AND ITS FREAKING PEOPLE OUT

BY ARJUN WALIA

One of my favourite quotes of all time comes from Nikola Tesla, who said, The day science

begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than

in all the previous centuries of its existence.

Its happening.

Post material science is here, and although its challenging the current dogma in science,

its where we need to go.

Today, we now have hundreds of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals showing

that parapsychological experiments have just as much, if not more, validity in some cases

than the hard sciences.

This has been known for quite some time, in fact, in 1999, a statistics professor at UC

Irvine published a paper showing that parapsychological experiments have produced much stronger results

than those showing a daily dose of aspirin to help prevent a heart attack.

She also showed that these results are much stronger than the research behind various

drugs like antiplatelets, for example.

Perhaps the best example is black budget science, the results out of programs like STARGATE

were unbelievable.

Then we have a number of previously classified documents giving multiple examples of people

with exceptional abilities.

The list goes on and on, and its all under the category of parapsychology, which includes

the study of quantum physics, telepathy, clairvoyance, remote-viewing, intuition, mind-body connection

and much more.

When the STARGATE program was declassified, the American Institutes for Research reviewed

it, and both reviewers concluded:

The statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is expected by

chance.

Arguments that these results could be due to methodological flaws in the experiments

are soundly refuted.

Effects of similar magnitude to those found in government-sponsored research at SRI and

SAIC have been replicated at a number of laboratories across the world.

Such consistency cannot be readily explained by claims of flaws or fraud.

Even as far back as 1985, a report prepared by the Army Research Institute disclosed that

the data reviewed in this report constitute genuine scientific anomalies for which no

one has an adequate explanation for.

Here are a fews articles that go into more detail and provide more of the science behind

parapsychology:

CIA Document Confirms Reality of Humans With Special Abilities Able To Do Impossible Things

Study Outlines What Prayer, Meditation & Yoga Can Do To The Human Body

This Is How Powerful The Mind/Body Connection Really Is

How The US Government Really Discovered The Rings Around Jupiter Because It Wasnt

Video Footage

Scientists Witness Woman With Exceptional Powers of Mind Rapidly Grow A Plant From A

Seed

Edward Snowden Tweet Hints That The NSA Can Access Your Secret Thought & Feelings

Scientists Demonstrate Remarkable Evidence of Dream Telepathy Between People

I just wanted to provide a brief background regarding the validity of non material science.

Why is non-material science studied so much in the Black Budget world, at the highest

level of government, but still ridiculed in mainstream science?

It doesnt really make sense, especially with all the repeatable scientific evidence

thats now available.

Here is a selected list of peer-reviewed journal articles about psi (psychic) phenomena, most

published in the 21st century.

There are also some papers of historical interest and other resources.

A comprehensive list of important articles and books would run into the thousands.

Click on the title of an article in the link highlighted above to download it.

Internationally recognized scientists are constantly coming together to stress the importance

of what is still commonly overlooked in the mainstream scientific community the fact

that matter (protons, electrons, photons, anything that has a mass) is not the only

reality.

We wish to understand the nature of our reality, but how can we do so if we are continually

examining only physical systems?

What about the role of non-physical systems, such as consciousness, or their interaction

with physical systems (matter)?

Parapsychologist, Gary Schwartz is an author and professor at the University of Arizona

who is a part of the hundreds of scientists who have gathered to emphasize that matter

is not the only reality.

You can read more about that in this article:

He sums up the problem quite well,

Some materialistically inclined scientists and philosophers refuse to acknowledge these

phenomena because they are not consistent with their exclusive conception of the world.

Rejection of post-materialist investigation of nature or refusal to publish strong science

findings supporting a post-materialist framework are antithetical to the true spirit of scientific

inquiry, which is that empirical data must always be adequately dealt with.

Data which do not fit favoured theories and beliefs cannot be dismissed as priori.

Such dismissal is the realm of ideology, not science.

This is precisely why we were so happy to have Dr. Natalie Leigh Trent on the Collective

Evolution podcast, hosted by founder Joe Martino.

Dr. Trent is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Kripalu Center

for Yoga & Health, where she investigates the mind-body practices of yoga and mindfulness

for health and wellbeing.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2006 and her

Doctorate in neuroscience from Queens University in 2012.

In the podcast below, Joe sits down with Dr. Natalie Trent to talk about her work in post

material science and the massive disruption thats happening in science right now as

old ways crumble.

Together they explore consciousness, energy work, and how our world and our understanding

of it is transforming through science.

This is huge stuff, because it goes to show just how important human consciousness, and

the profound effects it can have on the human experience.

This House Is So Creepy That The State Declared It Haunted — What Happened Inside Is Terrifying - Duration: 3:04.

This house is so creepy that the state declared it haunted. What happened inside is terrifying

Abandoned homes are so common and looks so spooky that it's not uncommon to start to question whether some of them are haunted or not

Well now you don't have to wonder

This house in Nyack New York was officially declared haunted in a court of law under a decision known as the ghostbusters war

It's back story is chilling enough to keep the bravest soul awake at night

When a woman named Helen eglee moved into the house, she had no idea

What was in store for her family the neighbors warned her family that the house was haunted and it wasn't long before some eerie things

started to happen

Once a young guest came over for dinner not long after he collapsed on the ground and passed away after suffering a brain aneurysm

Very often the Ackley's beds would shake violently until they woke up without an apparent cause

That is no cause other than these spirits inhabiting the home

Helen even did an interview with Reader's Digest in

1977 where she talked about the house in the article Helen claimed that once she was painting the walls of her living room a

spirit watched over her shoulder and remarked when he approved the

Athletes believed there to be a few spirits whom they assumed to be from the American Revolution era that shared the home of them

They would frequently leave gifts for the children around the house

When they tried to sell the house the Ackley family decided not to tell the buyers that the house was haunted

The couple who bought it was not from around the area

But after making the purchase found the house listed on a local ghost tours list of course

This made them want to move as well in

The court case to get out of buying the house

It came to be known as the Ghostbusters ruling the family argued that they never would have purchased the house had they known its history

When the new family eventually won the court case the home became legally declared as haunted

You have to admit that this houses story is rather chilling while some people remain skeptical

There's plenty of evidence to suggest something is definitely off about this house

Share this spooky story with your friends below

My iPhone Screen Is Broken! Here's How To Get It Fixed. - Duration: 2:25.

Hi guys, David and David here from payetteforward.com and in this video we're going to explain

what to do when your iPhone screen is broken.

Well, the first thing to do is: Safety First!

Yeah.

Also, sorry that your iPhone screen is broken. Right — we empathize with you — sort of.

What you do if it's very cracked — a lot of the time pieces of the screen could

be falling off.

So we recommend just taking some masking tape, and putting it right over the phone like

that. When people would come into the Apple Store hand us their shattered phones,

that's what we would do first, because who likes glass shards, right?

And if you don't fancy, you know, maybe a plastic bag will do just fine temporary fix,

you know, these things can be dangerous.

So secondly we want to back up your iPhone, right?

So even if your iPhone is working, okay right now you probably want to back it up right

away because when there's physical damage to the level of screens broken, yep, anything

can go wrong.

Grab a Lightning cable into your computer, right?

Let's go pretty good There It Is.

Well, plug it into your Phone right and you can use iTunes to back this up or iCloud open

up iTunes backup now — pretty straightforward.

Yeah save backup your data just in case fabulous.

We got a backup.

We got a backup.

We're safe, haven't injured ourselves.

No glass shards yet.

Yep fabulous.

So probably want to get a new screen.

Yeah, you probably wanna get your screen repair.

You know, if you can't use your iPhone screen then it's useless pretty, yeah.

Totally totally major is important.

So we're coming get our iPhones.

If your iPhone is under warranty and you have AppleCare+, I recommend going to Apple because

Apple is the best option.

However, Apple can be very expensive if you don't have AppleCare+ so there are other alternatives.

We highly recommend Puls, an on-demand repair service.

I'll send a tech to you fixtures phone on the spot then get there in as little as sixty

minutes.

No, I mean when you crack your iPhone screen, yes broken.

It's a very it's an emergency.

It's an emergency.

Yeah, and you want you know, you can't use her phone if it's broke exactly.

It's a drag.

All Puls repairs have a lifetime warranty.

Yep, they'll fix the screen.

So that's what to do when your iPhone screen is broken and thank you guys for watching

this video.

Rob Schneider Says Alec Baldwin's Trump is Hurting 'SNL' - Duration: 4:26.

Rob Schneider Says Alec Baldwin's Trump is Hurting 'SNL'

Rob Schneider is not a fan of Alec Baldwin playing Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

The SNL alum recently told the New York Daily News that his feelings on the matter have mostly to do with the fact it is well known that Baldwin hates the president.

Because of that, the impression is bad for the iconic sketch show, he says.

The fun of Saturday Night Live was always you never knew which way they leaned politically, he told the Daily News.

You kind of assumed they would lean more left and liberal, but now the cats out of the bag they are completely against Trump, which I think makes it less interesting because you know the direction the piece is going..

Using Dana Carvey as an example, Schneider said the comedians impression of George H.W.

Bush during his time in office worked well because Carvey had empathy for the then-president.

Carvey played it respectfully, Schneider said.

To me, the genius of Dana Carvey was Dana always had empathy for the people he played, and Alec Baldwin has nothing but a fuming, seething anger toward the person he plays..

Calling Baldwins Trump hard to watch, Schneider said the bit is hurting SNL.

Alec Baldwin is a brilliant actor … hes not a comedian, Schneider said.

I dont find his impression to be comical because, like I said, I know the way his politics lean and it spoils any surprise.

Theres no possible surprise.

He so clearly hates the man hes playing..

Schneider currently stars in Netflixs Real Rob.

What is CSS? What Does it Do? And What is it Used For? - Duration: 4:44.

Hi! This is Topher with Winning WP.

In this video, we're going to answer the question,

What is CSS, what does it do, and what is it used for?

Well, first of all, CSS stands for cascading style sheets.

And the cascading style sheet controls how

the content of a website looks and sometimes acts.

Let me show you.

On the left here, we have a little website

that I put together.

And on the right is the code for that website.

Here at the bottom, we have the HTML.

You can see where it says my website

and welcome to my website.

And then there's a link.

And then up here at the top, we have some other stuff

that says style, type, text, css.

And this is the cascading style sheet for this page.

Right here at the top, we have body,

and it says that the font family for the body

of my website is going to be Helvetica first,

and if we don't have that, then Arial,

and if we don't have that, then any Sans-Serif font.

It also says that my H1 tag, which you can see down below

is my website, has a color of hashtag f00,

which happens to be red.

I also have a link right here

and that's the A tag, the anchor.

You can see it right here and it says

text decoration none because normally anchor tags

have underlines, but on hover,

I want text decoration underlined,

and so now, there we are.

Now, this text is all a little small,

so let's make it a little bit bigger.

So, under body, I'm going to say font size,

we'll say 22 pixels, and then reload.

And there it is.

Everything's a little bit bigger

because everything is based off that body font size.

Now the C in CSS stands for cascading,

which means that we're able to be fairly specific

about which parts of our website we're talking about.

Let me give you an example.

Right here in the middle, I have a section

with a paragraph in it and then below it,

I have a footer with a paragraph in it.

Now, I can control all of the paragraphs

with just a P tag.

And I can italicize them all.

There, now all of the paragraphs are italicized.

But, what if I only want the one inside the section

to be italicized.

Well, my section has an ID of top,

which is like a handle, a name.

So, I can say hashtag top paragraph

are italicized.

Now, the one inside the footer is not.

So, to reiterate, the C in CSS stands for cascading,

which means that I can be very specific about

which thing on my website I want to control with CSS.

Now, I want to show you one more trick within

the realm of WordPress.

Here's a WordPress website and I'm logged in

and in the admin bar, there's a customize link,

and if you click that, the customizer opens up.

Now, not all customizers are the same in WordPress,

but they do all have an additional CSS tab.

And you can type in CSS there and have it affect

your website.

For example, I can type in header

and then do background red.

And now, all of my headers have a red background.

Now, if I click publish, then it saves it to my website.

Instead, I can also click this X and it will just go away.

So, this is a great place to experiment

and to see what your website is going to look at

with different pieces of CSS applied.

CSS ranges from extremely simple all the way

to very complicated, and it can be a lot of fun

to delve into and make little changes to your website

to make it unique.

With the customizer being so easy right there,

I really recommend that you experiment a little bit.

See if you like it, change up your website.

You can't really hurt anything.

Which is Better Creatine or Whey Protein? - Duration: 4:42.

Hey there everyone.

Paul from Ultimate Fat Burner.com here and today I'm going to answer a question which

on the surface seems a bit odd, "which is better, creatine or whey protein?"

I'll start the discussion in just a couple of moments, stick around don't go anywhere...

Hey there, welcome back, and thank you so very much for sticking around.

OK, so before the break I talked about answering a question that I've received many times over

the years and that is, "which is better, creatine or whey protein?."

And I said, on the surface it's seems like a bit of a strange question.

And the reason it's a strange question is because these two things are not related,

and as a result you wouldn't normally compare one to the other.

For example, you might ask, which is better, a Porsche or a Maserati?

This makes sense because you're comparing similar

things.

However, Asking whether creatine is better than Whey Protein is similar to asking whether

a car is better than a bulldozer?

It really depends on what you want to do with it.

A car is obviously better for some things, while a bulldozer is better for others.

So what I think most people are asking when they ask this question, is...

If I can only take one of these two supplements, which one one should it be?

That's the question I'm going to try to answer now.

Let's start by talking briefly about whey protein.

Now whey protein is a pretty awesome supplement.

It's high branched chain amino acids which are necessary for

muscle growth and it's especially high in leucine, an important branched chain amino

critical for muslce protein synthesis.

It contains minimal carbs and fats, and it offers a truckload of additional benefits

beyond its mere protein and amino acid content - and I've done videos that discuss these

benefits in so I won 't go into detail here.

However, at the end of the day, what you have to remember is that despite all the advertising

hype whey protein is food.

Buying a jug of it is not going to change your life, build slabs of rock hard muscle

overnight, make you run faster or strip off pounds of ugly bodyfat.

If you're thinking it's critical for athletic performance or bodybuilding, remember whey

protein wasn't even readily available on the market before the

late 1980's, and plenty of people built pretty impressive physiques without ever consuming

a drop of the stuff.

Ever heard of Arnold Schwarzenegger?

He won 6 Mr. Olympias long before whey protein graced the shelves of any

store.

So whey protein is not a necessity.

You can build muscle just fine without it if you consume plenty of protein in your diet

already, preferrably from lean sources of pork, chicken, beef, turkey and fish.

Wehy protein becomes more important to you if your diet is lacking in protein, or you

need a super efficient, low fat and convenient way to boost your protein intake.

And what about creatine?

Well, creatine - and I'm talking about creatine monohydrate here, not any of the other variations

available on the marketplace - is not food, and even though it does occur naturally in

some foods, you can't realistically consume an effective dose without supplementation.

In other words, while the argument for supplementing with whey protein decreases with the more

quality protein you consume daily from other sources, the argument for creatine supplementation

never decreases, because you can't obtain the effects of creatine through diet - you

have to supplement.

So which is better for you, creatine or whey protein?

Well, keeping in mind that neither product is going to make hugely dramatic changes overnight,

here's what I'd recommend...

If your diet sucks and you do not consume adequate amounts of quality protein, then

there's really no point in experimenting with creatine.

Whether or not you want to add a protein into the mix, or simply try to eat more sources

of lean protein daily is entirely up to you, but a protein supplment makes more sense in

this case.

On the other hand, if your diet is good and you're already consuming plenty of lean protein

in your diet, then - provided you're using it for anaerboic activities - like bodybuilding,

power lifting and strength training - by all means, give creatine monohydrate a try.

Alright guys, hope that helps you answer the question, "which is better creatine or whey

protein?"
