Ignore Android Oreo - Google may have just revealed big news about its Android P upgrade GOOGLE. Google looks set to reveal more news about its blockbuster Android P upgrade in the coming weeks.

The search giant's yearly I/O developers conference gets underway next month and it's likely that more details about this major Android software update will be announced during the big event. However, new images released online may give fans their biggest hint yet at what's to come. The downloadable wallpapers, which have just been revealed by Google, feature a colourful spring theme with bikes, kites and flowers.

But one of the pictures, which shows an ice lolly, has attracted plenty of attention and got rumours flying around the web that Google is teasing its next release early. With the tech firm always following its sweet-themed naming conventions some are speculating that the next version of Android might be called Popsicle.

Theres no confirmation if this is true and we're guessing the only reason why this name could cause some controversy is that the Popsicle brand is mainly targeted at a US and Canada market.

We'll find out more in the coming weeks but some lucky developers are already getting a taste of Android P. Google has just pushed-out a preview of its next version of Android which appears to bring a slew of new changes to the operating system.

One of the headline features in Android P is the in-built support for notch-style displays, like the iPhone X. Google has included a number of pre-set notches to house the sensors at the top of the edge-to-edge display.

The developer preview will enable app creators to test how their software performs on displays with this design quirk. Another headline design change is the use of rounded corners in the Quick Settings panel and notification dropdown.

Notifications from messaging apps will now include a preview of the last message sent in the conversation – and enable users to send a reply direct from the notification.

Google has also improved Autofill, which should make it easier for password managers and other third-party apps to enter your password. Google is widely-tipped to announce more features during its annual developer conference, Google IO.

Annie Leibovitz's MasterClass: You don't have their soul - Duration: 1:00.

It's offensive to me when I hear people say, oh, you really

got that person.

That's it.

Or, you have their soul.

I mean, baloney.

We're so complicated as human beings.

There's so many parts to us.

And this portrait is going to be, like,

a small piece of that person.

And I just can't get it in one photograph.

I'm thinking about Alexandra Fuller.

I have a portrait of her. She looks like Dorothea Lange's

migrant worker.

I mean, she looks so ragged.

And then there's another photograph

of her standing next to her yurt. She lives in a yurt

with her horse.

And she looks so beautiful.

And they're both her.

And I just, I ran them both.

I just, I struggled.

Which one did I want to run?

I said, oh, this is ridiculous.

I'm just going to run them both.

And it was just revelatory.

This was the first time it was really quite clear to me

you needed two pictures to tell this story.

BT Daily: How to Have a Successful Bible Study - Part 4 - Duration: 2:28.

[Darris McNeely] I live in Ohio.

And not too far from where I live, there is a town called Berea.

Now I happen to know down the road from where I live in Kentucky there's another city named

Berea with a college called Berea.

Berea is a commonplace name in the United States.

You know where it comes from?

It comes from a reference in the Bible, in Acts 17, to a group of people in a city named

Berea, where the Apostle Paul went to teach.

And what it says about them helps us to understand something about Bible study.

We've been going through a series on Bible study here on BT Daily, and we're at point

number four where we are talking about what it means to have successful Bible study.

What we have to have is an open mind.

When we sit down to read the Bible, let God talk to us, be willing to change.

Even if it means letting go of long-held cherished beliefs we've been taught from childhood,

or we've come to our own on our own study.

If we can successfully apply this one study, this one tip of going at it with an open mind,

then we will truly learn something.

Because that's what a group of people that we are told about in the Bible, Acts 17:11,

in the city of Berea where the Apostle Paul came, it speaks of these people with this

description.

"These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word

with all readiness and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were

so."

They searched the scriptures, and that search involved a very diligent desire and work to

search all of the scriptures to come to an understanding of what they were hearing from

Paul and everything else.

It's a city that existed anciently in Macedonia.

It's given its name to a lot of other places in the world today.

But it speaks to an attitude of being a Berean, someone who searches the Scriptures daily.

Find out what is there, and whether what is being taught anywhere by anyone is so.

Seek to understand and that way go into it with an open mind, you'll have successful

Bible study.

That's BT Daily, join us next time.

Have COURAGE to do what makes you HAPPY - Duration: 7:43.

I'm so excited with this!

Aha!

So lets put some context in here because I'm sure you are wondering what the hell is

going on here.

Today I want to share three things, the first one is that I'm not longer doing only shibari.

Ok I'm good at shibari but I'm far away from the best ones from the masters, from the professionals

who ties.

For me it's only like a hobby, I want to share it with you but I'm better at other things

like being myself.

My life is a hell of a story, I'm a transgender, bisexual self employeed person, kind of sweet,

I'm happy and I want to share the secrets why I am happy, because not everyone in life

is happy and I think that's a problem.

I'm building something today.

I'm not going to tell you what, you will see, later.

But I want to tell you one story.

It's a story of a friend who for me have a lot of courage, this friend is a strong independent

woman, who's very crafty at doing things with her hands.

Someday, she was going to build this very big project.

In fact it was a shibari suspension point which must be attached to the walls very strong

because you are going to hang someone from there and you don't want that to fell apart.

She was somehow discouraged by some people who told her that she were not going to complete it

Because it was dificult, she doesn't have the skills, she was a woman, and how the hell

was she going to build something like that.

You know?

So you want to know what happened at the end?

I will tell you, but lets keep opening this before because this is something that I'm

very excited about.

This is like a drill.

It's my first drill, I've never have a drill but i'm going to use it to build this.

I've bought it on Amazon I don't know how it works, it had some good reviews and lets

see how it works!

Lets open it.

Yeaah, not so easy.By the way, it was almost the cheapest one.

It only costed like 30€.

I like the smell of new things.

Ok, it's big, it's heavy.

Instruction manual, i don't think i need it.

Ahaaa.

It looks good.

Next thing.

It has a lot of things.I kind of like it.I wonder if you will know what this is.

And the last one.

What is this?

Yeah, it's a shelve. We are going to build a shelve

Ahhhh.

It's attacking me.

Ok they look nice.

So this are all the shelves.

And I'm going to put them over there back in the wall.

So now everything is open and I've this two walls behind that are quite white I don't

like them much because they are so white that they need something.

This is my new machine and everything is ready to have fun.

so this is Pusheen I love him, he's my lovely cat.

Lets start with this!

And that was all finally I've my new shelves.

Now I'm going to put some beautiful things over them, give you some B roll and afterwards

I'll tell you the end of the story I began earlier.

So that was all, finally, at last, I'm done finishing putting the shelves.

I had a lot of fun but I've been like 7 hours from when I started unpacking to right now because

when you do something and at the same time you try to record it on video every single

things takes like 3 or 4 times to do the same.

So, anyway, it was a lot of fun, I'm very very happy of the result of my new shelves

as I said and as I promise, I'll tell you the end of the tale.

I love him.

So I'm pretty much sure you can imagine the end of the story.

My friend who is a very courageous woman did give a shit about the other people thoughs

and she tried to make this structure, and she was able to do the greatest perfect suspension

point for shibari.

I also think that If you are respectfull with other people, after that point you can do

whatever you want with your own fu**** life because you can't choose where to go, how

to dress, how to express yourself, the things you want to do, the things you want to try.

You can try something and fail, it's ok, to fail, but if you don't even try you won't

learn anything, you won't get that life experience.

The most probable thing is that if you try something and you put your heart into it you will

do it perfectly.

You will feel better, you will know more, you will have more experience, more confidence

in yourself, you have to try, even if you fail.

So if you like this video, consider subscribing, and see you next week in next videos.

Bye bye, i love you.

Bye bye!

Meeeeow!

Why We Can't Have Civil Conversation About Guns | Retro Report - Duration: 11:08.

"Scenes of panic outside the school this afternoon."

"An unbelievably catastrophic day.

Seventeen are dead."

"Politicians who sit in their Senate seats funded by the N.R.A. telling us nothing could

have ever been done to prevent this - we call B.S."

The student-led protest following the Parkland shooting promised to change the gun debate.

"We will not stop until we get gun control."

But whether this moment signals a new era may depend on remembering another fight over

gun control three decades before - one that also began with a horrific shooting.

"The White House has confirmed now just in the last few minutes that President Reagan

has indeed been shot."

"We understand also that James Brady, the White House press secretary,

was among those injured."

"The president has a gunshot wound in the left side of the chest.

He is in stable condition.

Jim Brady has been shot, it is a head wound.

We have no information on his condition."

The attempted assassination of President Reagan occurred at a time when gun violence seemed

inevitable and out of control.

"Month after month, year after bloody year, it continues.

There is a one-in-five chance you or a member of your family will be attacked or threatened by someone

with a handgun."

The National Rifle Association stood in opposition to strengthening existing gun laws.

"Gun control really is a waste of taxpayers' time and a diversion of efforts that should

be put elsewhere in very productive pursuits."

Then, just four years after the shooting of Jim Brady, his wife, Sarah, saw that the N.R.A.

was pressuring Congress to make it easier to own and sell firearms.

"Sarah was shocked when she learned that the N.R.A. was going to be trying to weaken

the country's existing gun laws.

It was clear that the laws needed to be stronger, not weaker.

She picked up the phone and she called the N.R.A. and she said,

'You're going to have to contend with me.'"

In 1987, working with gun control advocate Gail Hoffman, Sarah Brady began a campaign

for background checks to make it harder for guns to fall into the hands of felons and

others already prohibited from owning them.

"The bill's proposed weeklong waiting period will give local police time -

time to run background checks on handgun purchasers to reduce the number of persons with a history of

criminal activity or mental illness who buy handguns over the counter every year."

They called it the Brady Bill.

"I firmly believe that if a reasonable waiting period and provision for background checks

had been in effect when John Hinckley walked into that Dallas pawnshop, my husband, Jim,

would be spending his days pursuing a successful career and in his spare time, climbing trees

with our eight-year old, rather than in hours of painful and rigorous physical therapy."

"We had the Republicans and the Democrats against us, when we first began this fight.

My own congressman, then Barney Frank, not too soon after, wrote an editorial that liberals

needed to abandon gun control.

People were not willing to touch the bill with a 10-foot pole."

"I ran N.R.A.'s grassroots efforts in 1991 against the Brady Bill."

"One of the things we told members was that this was, as the proponents claimed, just

a first step."

"Is the Brady Bill then merely a first step?"

"It is only a first step."

"This is only the first step."

"The first step..."

" This is the first step."

"Well, I think the Brady Bill is a good step.

It may not be the end, there may be other things that will happen later."

"Charlie Schumer said all the time, 'This is a first good step.'

Well, if this the first good step, better to prevent the first good step

than have to fight over the last bad step."

"We sent out messages into districts where a congressman was wavering.

When you start getting, you know, 3,000 phone calls and no other work can be achieved,

you know, you get the message. These people are going to be around in November."

But the Bradys had their own message.

"We were not gun-grabbers.

Jim owned guns.

Sarah grew up around guns.

My husband's family in Tennessee, whenever we'd visit them we'd go shooting."

"We made very clear to members of Congress that we did not support a ban on handguns.

We didn't support a ban on long guns.

This is about making sure that bad guys don't get them."

The Brady Bill's focus - passing a background check - seemed a reasonable measure to many

organizations that had long supported the N.R.A. - including law enforcement.

"Mr. Chairman, how many more police officers need to be killed before this government decides

to get serious about this problem?

How many more citizens have to be maimed?

How many more body bags need to be filled before all of us say, enough is enough?"

"Very, very pleased to have both of you as witnesses here and an unusual

bit of testimony here today.

Jim Brady."

"Just by seeing him and seeing what had happened to him, they saw right before them

the results of a gun in the wrong hands without a background check."

"There are some who oppose this simple seven-day waiting period for handgun purchases

because it would inconvenience gun dealers.

Well I guess I am paying for their in- their convenience.

I don't question the rights of responsible gun owners.

That's not the issue.

The issue is whether the John Hinckleys of the world should be able to walk into a gun store

and purchase a handgun instantly."

"It was very difficult for members of Congress to say, 'Yes, I believe a convicted felon

should be able to walk into a gun store and walk out with a handgun.'"

After nearly seven years of congressional battles, the Brady Bill was signed into law.

"The Brady Campaign did a very good job of selling the bill, and over time

it didn't seem like such an imposition on gun owners, so much so that even though

when I was still at N.R.A., we opposed it, by the time I got to the industry,

I could see a lot of good things coming out of the Brady Bill."

The following year, the N.R.A. suffered a second defeat

when Congress passed the assault weapons ban, which outlawed several kinds

of semi-automatic rifles and high capacity magazines.

"People were euphoric.

And they thought that, that anything could be done.

That the N.R.A. could be defeated and they move forward with legislative packages that

went way beyond what anybody had been talking about in the past

and really didn't have a snowball's chance.

The N.R.A. was able to jump on this and they were able to go back to members of Congress

and say, 'See, this is what they wanted all along.'"

For the N.R.A., the losses became a rallying cry.

"We haven't been winning on Capitol Hill.

Is the Brady Bill a win?

Armor-piercing bullet ban a win?

Is a ban on gun ownership for people convicted of minor domestic violence misdemeanors a win?

If that's winning,

what do we call losing?

Ninety-seven to two the Senate of the United States voted for that domestic violence gun ban.

Tragedy.

We've got to start winning and we must win consistently

we must stop this erosion of the Second Amendment."

"When the gun rights community was looking down the barrel - pun intended -

of those two losses, they doubled down."

"So, as we set out this year to defeat the divisive forces that would take freedom away,

I want to say those fighting words. 'From my cold dead hands.'"

"And what was the result?

All the wins in the latter part of the 1990s right into the 2000s, right till now."

It's been almost twenty-five years since the Brady Bill became law,

and with the assault weapons ban allowed to lapse,

it remains the last major piece of federal gun control legislation passed in the United States.

"If we gave up after our loss the first time on the Brady Bill, I can't even imagine

what would have happened."

"Joaquin Oliver.

Joaquin went by the nickname Guac and was interested in football, basketball and hip hop.

This one is for Joaquin."

"There is a responsible middle.

And that is what is critical even today.

That people understand that nobody is going to

take guns away from law-abiding citizens."

"Guns are a symbol of so many other things.

Positive, negative, but they are symbols.

Gun owners see a picture of a gun and they see all sorts of positive American values:

freedom, independence, interdependence.

When anti-gun people see the same gun, they see dissolution in the streets,

shootings in our schools, all sorts of negative things."

"So, we're two societies coming at the gun issue with completely different orientations,

and it almost prevents us from day one having an intelligent conversation

about what the problem is, what the issues are, and what the potential solutions could be."

HAVE YOU SPIRITUALLY OUTGROWN THE MATRIX YET - Duration: 4:20.

HAVE YOU SPIRITUALLY OUTGROWN THE MATRIX YET

BY Dylan Charles

Information is only valuable if it can be used to advance your life in some meaningful

way. If it doesnt serve that purpose, then it is just a distraction from living.

And the crux of the matrix is distraction.

When youre distracted from creating and living a meaningful and positive life, the

matrix wins. When youve no time to give to imagining what this life might look like

or feel like if you were in control, the matrix wins.

Its not that the matrix is a top-down conspiracy led by a round table of cigar smoking suits.

Its really a system of compliance, complacency and comfort. In other words, we all contribute

to it in our own way. With our own free will, we all put bricks in this wall, because its

what everyone else is doing, and we feel like its what we should also be doing.

This is the whole paradigm of consumer living, celebrity culture, the endless drama of political

spectacle, and the endless desire to stand out in the herd. Think of the social media

corral and what a waste of energy all that is.

If youre paying attention to your life, though, you eventually see through this.

All of the conspiracy theories, bad news, world events, suppressed history, and collective

speculation at some point must be recognized as necessary stepping-stones on your way to

total awakening.

Their purpose in your soul journey is to jolt you out of contemporary consciousness and

get you looking at the reality of your life, the brevity of it, and the pressing need to

move on with being yourself in spite of any and all forces that wish to conquer and control

your spirit.

Its a process of outgrowing the matrix, and if youre really paying attention youll

instinctively know when its time to jump ship and move beyond these narratives and

false realities. Your intuition will tell you when youve had enough and when its

time to move on.

Carl Jungs work details a process he referred to as individuation, which is a keen way of

looking at this. The matrix is the group and we are trained to be members of this herd.

But this is not our truest nature. Deep down, we are spiritual beings, capable of infinite

levels of individuality and awareness, but when this awareness is choked down and focused

on the material here and now, being part of the herd is what feels good. Until it doesnt,

then youre on your own. Blissfully on your own, carving your own path and creating your

own trail.

So, have you spiritually outgrown the matrix yet? Has your spirit seen enough and learned

enough to tell the difference between an existence in the rabbit hole and an existence in the

realm of infinite possibility?

Is your spirit ready to fly above and beyond the walls of the psychological prison ensnaring

most of us?

Its perfectly OK if it has not. It will someday, though, so hang on and dont give

up.

In my experience as a member of the alternative media, Ive learned that the vast majority

of people out there are still seeking confirmation of their worst fears in the morass of endless

information available to us. And its often the darkest and lowest of frequencies that

have the most gravity and the most pull. The gnarly stuff pulls us in and works to keep

us down.

Its our job, however, as individuals to evolve beyond this and rise above this. When

we do, the fear is the first thing to go, and true freedom is the first reward.

Not to beat to death the metaphor of the matrix, but there is a short scene in the Matrix Trilogy

which puts images to this idea. Food for thought, so enjoy.

BREAKING: Trump May Have Just PISSED OFF Millions Of Patriots With What He Said Last Night At Rally - Duration: 4:39.

BREAKING: President Trump May Have Just PISSED OFF Millions Of Patriots With What He Said

Last Night At Rally, Did You Catch It?

President Donald Trump told American farmers on Saturday that he would allow guest workers

to come into the country, despite his promise to protect American workers, Breitbart reports.

"For the farmers, OK, it's going to get good, and we're going to let your guest

workers come in, because we're going to have strong borders, but we have to have your

workers come in.

We have to let people come in.

They're going to be guest workers, they're going to come in, they're going to work

on your farms, we're going to have the H-2Bs come in, we're going to have a lot of things

happening."

~ President Donald Trump

President Trump discussed that the unemployment numbers in the United States and he stated

that the numbers are at an all time low, so there is plenty of work for seasonal workers. As

he addressed the crowd and unemployment, farming and seasonal workers under H-2B program, the

crowd was not amused and they did not cheer at the Presidents remarks, at the rally in

Washington, Michigan on Saturday.

The president rapidly changed topics to manufacturing, talking about how Foxconn factories were being

built in Wisconsin however, he commented back to the H-2B topic to talk about guest workers.

"We need people to be able to come into our country, do your jobs, help you on the

farms, and then they go out, they're going to leave.

Guest workers, we're going to take care of that.

Guest workers.

Don't we agree?

We have to have them.

We have to have them."

The "H-2B Program" is as follows:The H-2B program allows U.S. employers or U.S. agents

who meet specific regulatory requirements to bring foreign nationals to the United States

to fill temporary nonagricultural jobs.

A U.S. employer, or U.S. agent as described in the regulations, must file Form I-129,

Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, on a prospective worker's behalf.

Alert: After Sept. 15, USCIS is no longer accepting petitions filed under the joint

final rule that increased the H-2B cap limit for fiscal year 2017.

For more information, visit our One-Time Increase in H-2B Nonimmigrant Visas for Fiscal Year

2017 page.

The H-2B nonimmigrant program permits employers to temporarily hire nonimmigrants to perform

nonagricultural labor or services in the United States. The employment must be of a temporary

nature for a limited period of time such as a one-time occurrence, seasonal need, peakload

need or intermittent need.

The H-2B program requires the employer to attest to the Department of Labor that it

will offer a wage that equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage, applicable

Federal minimum wage, the State minimum wage, or local minimum wage to the H-2B nonimmigrant

worker for the occupation in the area of intended employment during the entire period of the

approved H-2B labor certification.

The H-2B program also establishes certain recruitment and displacement standards in

order to protect similarly employed U.S. workers.

The Wage and Hour Division has been delegated enforcement responsibility by the Department

of Homeland Security effective January 18, 2009, to ensure H-2B workers are employed

in compliance with H-2B labor certification requirements.

The Wage and Hour Division may impose administrative remedies such as wage payments and civil money

penalties against employers who violate certain H-2B provisions. There was a time here in the

states that migrant workers were not used, we the people used to do the work.

High school students and middle school kids used to do the seasonal work for money for

the summer.

Then farmers found that they could use "illegals" to work the crops and most of the time they

didn't even pay them to do so.

Once government stepped in, the farmers then had to pay them a very small amount compared

to the American youth.

It would seem to me, if we are to make America great again, protect our borders and National

Security, we need to get American youth off their lazy, entitled, spoiled little butts

and lead the way back into seasonal jobs.

Pressure to have sex - Duration: 2:54.

OK so this time I was in Spain, and I was staying in a hostel and it

was when the Spanish won the euro football cup, and afterwards I went out for a drink with

the people from the hostel the people who worked in the hostel, and I'd like

been hanging out with them and chatting to them and they were nice and I was

quite drunk and some of their friends came along - they seemed to be friends anyway and

know each other and they had a motorbike and the motorbike was really fun and so

I got on the back of the motorbike with them and drove off, and they were like

don't worry we'll take you back we'll take you back we need to go back and so

I thought okay that's fine then. But then later when I wanted to go back they said

actually no we're not going to take you back

you can't go back, but don't worry you can stay in this guy's house and then go

home in the morning so maybe I was quite naive but nothing really crossed my mind

I thought this is really inconvenient and I'm not very comfortable with this

but I didn't really feel that had much option. I was like miles away and in another

like another village, I didn't know the way back from where I was. Yeah I thought

it'd be easier to make my way back in the daytime when I wasn't drunk on when

there would be more people around it would be light so I didn't feel totally

comfortable but I didn't really have much option so I went to this guy's

house I can't remember exactly what happened

but basically I wanted to go to sleep and I hadn't kissed him or anything

nothing had happened to suggest anything was going to but I'm not sure what his

move was but he was doing something and I said can't I just go to sleep and he

said no, no you can't stay here unless you're going to have sex with me. So I

left and obviously I'm glad I left. I didn't

know the way, I like found the main road that links from the villages but I think

I went the wrong way along it. I was just walking until it got light

I didn't have GPS on my phone then so when it got light I asked a truck driver for

directions and he said, mate you're going totally the wrong way, and drove me back

he drove me there. So that was good, it was fine, I mean, everything was fine. But

at the time I didn't tell anybody - I didn't tell the people who worked in the hostel,

which is strange because probably if I had like consensual sex with their

friend I wouldn't have...maybe I would have not wanted to tell them I don't

know but I felt like I was responsible and it was my fault

and I'd been in the situation like obviously it was a horrible situation to

be in, and I felt like it was my fault and so I didn't really tell anybody...and

that's a shame

Professor Velma García - How Life and Land Have Changed Along the U.S. Border Wall - Duration: 6:47.

(thoughtful opening music)

- I actually was born and raised

in the Rio Grande Valley, which is the southern tip of Texas

where the Rio Grande flows into the Gulf of Mexico.

And so I was trained as a political scientist

doing comparative politics, Latin America

and really my research had been on Mexico.

But about 10 years ago there was more and more literature

about the border, border politics.

You know, relationship between US and Mexico

and border politics, and then what happened

is that around 2006, between 2006 and 2008

a border wall was built in roughly 620 miles

along the US-Mexico border and part of that border wall

was built south of my hometown of Mission, Texas.

So I became, of course, very interested

not only because of my intellectual interest

but also my personal interest

since it now was actually affecting my hometown.

And so yeah, so my research started way before

Donald Trump brought up this issue of the border wall.

I think for me one of the frustrating things has been,

recently in the last couple of years,

has been that so many people are talking

about the border wall as if it were a new thing.

And in fact, the border wall that was built in 2008

was built as a result of two pieces of legislation.

One of them was the Real ID Act of 2005.

And the Real ID Act was mostly about

standardizing information on driver's licenses

across the country for purposes of security,

but there's also a provision in the Real ID Act

that gives the power to the head of DHS,

the head of Homeland Security to unilaterally ignore

any law that interferes with the construction

of barriers at the border as long as they're designed

to enhance national security.

The other important piece of legislation

is a 2006 secure wall act.

And in that piece of legislation Congress actually says

to DHS that they must build 613 miles of border wall, again,

to enhance national security.

In Texas you have a very long border.

You have, for example, land owners who have been very upset.

I can give one case study.

A village called Granjeno, Texas, which is again

in the southern tip of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley.

So they have complained bitterly

about their experiences with the 2006 Secure Fence Act

and they've had several complaints.

One is that the border wall that was built

actually divided their village in half.

And so again, this is a little town

that goes back to the 1700s, has a lot of historic value,

and is now cut in half by an 18- foot wall.

Another group that has been very upset

with the border wall, and again, this particular area

of the Rio Grande Valley, is environmentalists.

This area of South Texas

is a very unique place environmentally.

It looks superficially a lot like, perhaps, Florida

with a lot of palm trees, a lot of vegetation

and it's also a place that is home

to many endangered species of animals and plants.

So I think President Donald Trump and his supporters

have been calling for a border wall.

And what I find interesting is that

in that discussion you rarely hear

that we already have this 600- mile border wall.

I think that a lot of people in this country

either have forgotten about that wall

that was built 10 years ago, or were never aware of it.

And I think that there's still so much fear an anxiety,

which drives people to want a real visible barrier

that they could point to

that would be solving these problems.

And again, these problems are fear of terrorism,

so wanting to protect national security,

fear of the other, of the undocumented people.

Perhaps some people are worried

that this country will no longer

be a predominantly white country.

The idea that some people are trying to get here

and not waiting in line, not understanding

the intricacies of our immigration system

and I think in general, just thinking

that drug trafficking can be solved

by building a border wall, whereas we know, I think,

that we need to think hard about

the problems of addiction in this country.

The problems that these walls are supposed to address,

the problems are too complicated.

A lot of border scholars say that we actually in many ways

on purpose create these flawed projects at the border.

So on the one hand you have a border wall.

We already have one now.

Has it actually stopped drug trafficking?

Has it stopped undocumented immigration?

No, it has not.

If we add even more miles to the border wall

the same is going to continue, but that is because

you can't satisfy both sides at the same time.

Some people still want their cheap labor

or their products to go back and forth across the border.

Some people still want a closed border

because of their own anxieties.

I think I just hope that more people pay attention,

not necessarily just people who live on the border,

but pay attention to something like that fact

that the head of DHS has been given the right

to ignore any law as long as that person

is building a barrier at the border

that enhances national security.

We've already had over 30 laws waived.

Again, laws having to do with the environment,

with the protection of Native Americans and their property,

their lands and properties, the Clean Air Act,

the Endangered Species Act.

I think we need to think about the erosion

of our democracy in light of our focus on national security.

What Is The Likelihood Aliens Have Already Made Contact? - Duration: 9:36.

This video is brought to you by Honey.

Honey is a FREE browser extension that automatically finds the best coupons on the web so you always

get the best prices on everything you buy online.

If you've seen our shows on Roswell and Area 51, you'll already know some of the

theories out there that support the position that aliens have already visited our beautiful

blue planet.

In Roswell, for instance, some people believe that aliens crash-landed and little green

men were quickly taken away.

Where are they now?

Area 51, some conspiracy theorists tell us, and they have been used to help the American

military create highly advanced military technology.

But these cases are just touching the tip of the extra-terrestrial iceberg.

Today we'll dig a little deeper, in this episode of the Infographics Show, What is

the likelihood aliens have already made contact?

We'll start by noting that many stories make the rounds regarding whistle-blowers

who confessed that they have proof that we have been in touch with aliens, and many other

stories are just plain old alien sightings.

These may or may not be true.

Many stories get debunked, and others are too preposterous to even gain traction.

It's up to us, as amateur internet sleuths and part-time alien investigators, to look

through the evidence and ascertain an opinion.

We might take the case of former Lockheed Martin engineer and Area 51 scientist, Boyd

Bushman, who confessed on his deathbed that we had made contact with aliens.

He even had photographs to prove it.

He said two types of aliens were here on Earth, describing them as "wranglers" and "rustlers"

– the former being friendlier than the latter.

He said in his confession, which is available on YouTube, that "a great deal of information

should be lifted up from those dark recesses of Area 51 and moved over so people can see

them."

We watched the video, and he at least seems convincing.

He shows photos he acquired of an alien craft and one of a 4.5 ft to 5 ft tall alien with

three backbones.

He said at least 18 of them exist within Area 51.

These aliens, he said, are telepathic.

The problem is, the only evidence he has are these photographs, and as critics have pointed

out, the pictures he holds up look like alien dolls that can be purchased here on Earth

in stores.

Many people decry this man as a loon– even though he was a highly intelligent engineer

with patents to his name; while others have suggested that he was probably just suffering

from senility.

Of course, conspiracy theorists will tell you that this is just a smear campaign, and

that the smear further supports the existence of aliens.

But the tale gets stranger when you invoke another Area 51 engineer who also said he

had worked on alien technology, mainly reverse engineering alien spacecraft.

His name is Bob Lazar.

He is still alive and still stands by what he said first in 1989: That Area 51 was the

location where several alien spacecrafts were kept.

He also said aliens had been around on Earth for at least 10,000 years.

Lazar is the person mainly responsible for starting the Area 51 conspiracies.

While his educational background has come into question, Lazar had stated that the government

wiped all his educational records to undermine his claims.

We should add that former President Bill Clinton has also said he "wouldn't be surprised"

if aliens had visited Earth, and said he'd even sent his people to Area 51 to look for

signs of them.

He concluded in a TV interview, "There are no aliens there," but that won't appease

the believers.

You can hear more about Area 51 on our dedicated show.

All this may sound even truer if you saw the recent Anonymous video stating that NASA was

about to tell us a big secret: that it has discovered the existence of aliens.

But Anonymous didn't actually tell us what NASA was going to say, and according to most

media, its announcement was based on the fact that NASA has found lots of new planets in

the last several years, thanks to the Kepler telescope launched a few years ago.

According to NASA, 20 of those planets are similar in size to Earth and could possibly

sustain life.

NASA calls the location of these planets the "habitable zone", as water would not freeze

there, nor would it burn up.

But, we should reiterate, Anonymous has yet to say anything to make us believe contact

has already been made.

So, what about those people who say they have been up close and probed by aliens, what we

call alien abduction?

In a denunciatory manner, deceased American comedian Bill Hicks once pondered, why is

it that aliens always land in rural America.

"They cross galaxies, or wherever they come from to visit us, and always end up in places

like Fife, Alabama.

Maybe these are not super-intelligent beings, man.

Maybe they're like hillbilly aliens," said Hicks, and while that was a joke, it

should make us question the strange phenomenon of these abductions happening around the same

areas in the United States.

Is it hysteria, psychosis?

Well, psychological studies have shown that people who said they were abducted were not

mentally ill.

People have reported being abducted all over the world, but America easily leads the way.

Are any of those abduction stories convincing?

There are too many stories to mention, but most are similar.

People are abducted, usually adults, then probed, sometimes taken on a tour, and then

sent back.

One of the most famous cases was that of American couple Barney and Betty Hill, who said they

were abducted in 1961.

The aliens, apparently from the Zeta Reticuli star system, had kind of mesmerized the couple

as they were looking at its spacecraft while driving in a rural area.

Moments later they were 35 miles (56 km) away, feeling all dazed and confused.

Hours had gone by.

The lapse of time became known as the, "missing time".

It was only later that Betty recalled in her dreams that she had indeed been taken aboard

the spacecraft and probed.

The thing is, Betty's story, both fully conscious and under hypnosis, was not always

the same, and later in life she said she had seen aliens again on several occasions.

Skeptics also believe that Barney only went along with Betty's story after she had told

it numerous times, and it's believed Betty was a lifelong UFO fanatic.

Even these days, you can find many people online that claim to have been abducted, but

as of yet, there is no evidence that proves this is not merely a fantasy.

Until there is, we must remain skeptical.

What about the most credible sightings of alien spacecraft, aka UFO?

These don't always come from Reddit users stating they saw something that no one else

did, sometimes they come from more than one person working in a professional field.

We might look at the case of what was described by a U.S. navy pilot as a giant, flying Tic-Tac.

Navy commander David Fravor said in 2004 that he witnessed a "A white Tic Tac, about the

same size as a Hornet, 40 feet long with no wings, just hanging close to the water."

Other pilots saw it, too, and even filmed it.

Fravor said that it was, "Faster than I'd ever seen anything in my life," adding,

"We turn around, say let's go see what's in the water and there's nothing.

Just blue water."

No one has said the video is not real, and indeed, the object looks like a massive Tic-Tac.

In fact, after the video emerged, a Pentagon official leading a program to search for UFO's

said, "My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not

be alone."

He said his team had found mysterious aircraft that "seemingly defy the laws of aerodynamics",

that couldn't in human engineering terms have the technology to fly.

But they did fly.

The flying Tic-Tac and the Pentagon being so candid is probably the best evidence we

have of aliens having visited us, but still, it's far from being indisputable evidence.

Motherboard interviewed a man named Peter Davenport in 2017.

Davenport is the director of the National UFO Reporting Center.

If you see something strange in the sky, you call them.

He says sightings have shot up in recent years, stating that most calls are "serious-minded

attempts to describe some type of object that the witness was unable to identify himself."

The callers could sometimes be drunk and seem unreliable, but many calls come from people

who hold positions of authority and are deadly serious.

One such call came from a retired military fighter pilot, who'd also been a commercial

airline pilot and an astronaut.

The caller said he'd seen a "large orange glowing orb moving rapidly overhead."

In fact, if you read through the dialogue of numerous calls, you might just become a

UFO believer.

However, if the truth is out there, it's not exactly on our TV's, walking on the

White House lawn, and having cups of tea with the Queen of England.

Given that so many planets surround us, and given the sheer fact that it would be ignorant

of us to say we are the only ones existing in the universe, it would be foolhardy to

deny the existence of aliens.

Then again, it's also unlikely that if they had landed here, that authorities could prevent

those aliens from being seen more widely.

And if the aliens are that advanced, surely they could evade capture or even mess with

our TV signals.

There is one piece of technology that we do find pretty alien.

It's so alien because it works so well!

It's actually a browser extension called Honey.

When you're on a checkout page that contains a promo code field, like, maybe you're trying

SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED A WAY TO DESTROY CANCER TUMORS - Duration: 4:37.

SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED A WAY TO DESTROY CANCER TUMORS USING NOTHING BUT SOUND WAVES

by: Earl Garcia

A recent breakthrough in high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy (HIFU) technology has proven

its use as an effective cancer treatment.

A multi-institutional research team from China developed a semi-enclosed, spherical cavity

transducer that can produce a focused, standing-wave field with a subwavelength-scale focal region

and extremely high ultrasound intensity.

The spherical cavity transducer appeared to generate tighter focal regions and greater

pressure amplitude compared with the traditional concave spherical transducer.

Researchers said the level of intensity generated by the new transducer design may lead to significant

improvements in HIFU therapy.

The findings were published in the Journal of Applied Physics.

HIFU is a non-invasive, targeted treatment that makes use of sound waves to eradicate

cancer cells.

HIFU uses an ultrasonic transducer to convert electrical signals into sound waves, then

concentrates ultrasound into a small focal region to raise the temperature to more than

65 decrees Celsius, thereby killing cancer cells in the process without inducing damage

to surrounding tissues.

The technique works in the same manner as focusing sunlight through a lens, which helps

eliminate the disease-causing cells.

HIFU can be used as an alternative to traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and

surgery.

SOUND WAVES PROVE TO BE VIABLE CANCER TREATMENT IN VARIOUS STUDIES

High-intensity focused ultrasound therapy proved to be a highly-effective cancer treatment

in various studies and clinical trials.

For instance, researchers at the University College Hospital in London examined 625 men

with prostate cancer and found that 93 percent of patients who underwent HIFU alone remained

cancer-free at five years following the treatment, without requiring surgery or radiotherapy.

Data also showed that only one to two percent of patients who had HIFU treatment suffered

long-term urinary incontinence, compared with 10 to 20 percent of patients who had surgery.

In addition, only 15 percent of patients in the HIFU group developed erectile dysfunction

compared with 30 to 60 percent of surgical patients.

The results of this study are impressive and have the potential to transform prostate

cancer treatment for many men in the future.

It is extremely exciting technology and these results show that in men diagnosed early by

prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood testing, this targeted therapy could be as effective

as surgery to remove the whole prostate gland or radiotherapy and cause far fewer side effects,

said study co-author Tim Dudderidge.

The findings were presented at an annual meeting of the European Association of Urology in

Munich, Germany.

A British clinical trial funded by the Medical Research Council has also found that 95 percent

of patients who underwent HIFU therapy for prostate cancer remained cancer-free at 12

months after the treatment.

The researchers also found that none of the respondents suffered urinary incontinence

during the follow-up period.

ANOTHER SOUND WAVE INNOVATION TO WATCH OUT FOR

Researchers at the University of Alberta in Canada have developed a new technique that

uses focused sound waves to activate minute particles known as nanodroplets.

According to the researchers, the new technique was as accurate as using needles in biopsy.

With a little bit of ultrasound energy, nanodroplets phase-change into microbubbles.

Thats important because ultrasound can really oscillate these microbubbles.

The microbubbles absorb of the ultrasound energy and then act like boxing gloves to

punch the tumor cells and knock little vesicles off.

That led us to detect some genes that were indicative of the aggressiveness of the tumour.

Thats potentially very powerful.

You can get a genetic characterization of the tumour, but do it relatively non-invasively,

said engineering professor Roger Zemp.

This 'Avengers: Infinity War' Character Was Recast & You May Not Have Even Noticed! - Duration: 4:28.

This 'Avengers: Infinity War' Character Was Recast & You May Not Have Even Noticed!

There was one actor in Avengers: Infinity War who was recast and you may not have even noticed the new actor behind all the prosthetics!.

This character first appeared in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, and has been missing from the Marvel universe ever since…until now.

There are spoilers ahead, so be warned if you haven't seen the movie in theaters yet! The Marvel movie hit theaters this past Friday.

Be sure to check it out if you haven't seen it yet!.

1. Hugo Weaving as Red Skull

Hugo Weaving was recast as Red Skull after playing the villain in Captain America: The First Avenger.

While he's not spoken about why he decided not to do Avengers: Infinity War, he did speak about not wanting to make more films back in 2012.

"I think the tendency, with those films, would be to probably not bring a villain back.

They might for The Avengers, but I didn't think I'd be in Captain America 2 or 3.

I don't think Red Skull will be there.

And it's not something I would want to do again.

I'm glad I did it.

I did sign up for a number of pictures and I suppose, contractually, I would be obliged to, if they forced me to, but they wouldn't want to force someone to do it, if they didn't want to," he told IGN years ago.

2. The Walking Dead's Ross Marquand

Ross took on the role of Red Skull after Hugo did not want to reprise the role!.
