De-Stance-iffying the Project Celica - Celica Time ep. 1 - Duration: 11:05.
What up car people. I got some goodies in the mail today. I got the day off taking
a little vacation and I finally got my stuff from Hoonigan. I got a t-shirt I
also got some stickers. This looks like a snap-on gun that I had for a while.
I sold it once I stopped being a pro mechanic. Cut to the footage! I like this a lot.
I spend a lot of time at my computer editing. yeah I like that, it speaks to me.
This is going on my computer tower stand. I also got this license plate frame
for the Evo. Pretty cool I like it I've always liked their videos and stuff so
I'll rep their plate frame let me get some sneakers on. We'll adjust the
suspension on the Celica. yeah Celica time!
I'm in the garage of the Celica, so I'm gonna roll it out. My plan for today is to
check tire pressures make sure those are good. I'm gonna start with the rear
because I think the rear is easiest to adjust height. I'm going to raise the
rear first clean the coil overs check all the bushings for binding and yeah
take it from there. Once I get the height in the rear that I like I'll go to the
front which is a little more difficult and I'll adjust that accordingly but for
now I'm going to start with the rear. yeah
all right I'll let that warm up for a little bit
and we'll get to work.
This is a simple job it only requires a few basic hand tools. I have
tape measure, a ball-peen hammer you'll also need spanner wrenches. Your
coilovers should have come with both these but if not you can buy these separately
as well. I'll leave a link in the description for some equivalent tools.
You'll also need this flat-head screwdriver
and I've got this spray bottle here with diluted degreaser. Tires look alright
I don't see any flat spots. I have energy suspension bushings throughout the car.
These are d2 RS coil overs. I upgraded my brake lines to Technafit steel braided
lines. My fenders are rolled to accommodate my wheel and tire setup.
I rolled these myself :) I'll start by cleaning the coil over
body. Dirt can get under the collars causing damage to your threads and
possibly seizing your coil overs. Ask me how I know. The rear collars came off easily.
I like to spray the coilovers with penetrating oil just make sure to wipe off the excess.
This is my a spring rate at the rear it's slightly lower upfront. I had this car
since 2007. Turning wrenches is a pleasure. I love it. It's my Zen it's my
happy place. Anyway I settled on a height and went
for a test fit to confirm my adjustments.
that looks crazy. I I don't think so nein. Is that what you were going for?
No I only gave it a half inch of an adjustment there but half inch probably...
I mean obviously translates to more. hmm I'm gonna take the other side
off the jack.
I think that's too high... like it's April 20th high?
I like cars and I dont care who knows..CELICA! Meanwhile back at the ranch.
At the front of the car we have power grid end links these are adjustable and
a ROTORA big brake kit I cleaned the front coilovers same as the rear.
These didn't come off as easily and needed some persuasion. A 17 millimeter
socket and wrench will allow me to free the lower mount from the coilover body
allowing me to spin it which will in turn allow me to adjust height. If I spin
them upwards that'll make the coilover body shorter. Making the height
lower if I spin it downwards that'll make the coilover body longer making the
car taller. Mission accomplished all four corners are adjusted I raised the coil
over collars 1/4 of an inch and set all dampers to full soft. I'll adjust it once
I get a feel for the car again I got some driving and some getting to know the celica.
It's time for a test drive.

Morning people. Welcome to day 9 of the conversion.
Today I will try to get the flux boxes onto the car.
I will make a paper template of the upper boxes
to have it easier to drill the holes on the T-panel.
And then the front flux boxes.
My idea is to use the bended angle piece.
This will hold in the indicator hole.
I want to shorten the metal first.
The flux box will stand there
and then the box will be placed here
The box will be mounted from behind with two screws.
Unfortunately I had to remove the rubber stripe
and cut some of it on the right.
So the box will fit into the gap.
Let's see how far I get this day.

I marked the outlines on the paper.
then aligned it on the T-panel and checked where they have to be mounted.
Unscrewed the wormhole emitter so that the boxes can lay flat.
Secured the paper and then marked the fluxbands rubber.
Now a difficult moment that hurts. I have to drill into the stainless body.
The mounting holes for the upper flux boxes.
It needs to be that way.
The need to be mounted to the car very well because they are really heavy.
Drilled the two holes and
put screws into the flux band rubber.
It's always difficult for me when I have to drill many holes where they should be exact.
Most of them end up a bit out of the line even if I marked them correct.
It was really difficult to securely mount the boxes to the T-panel.
I have drilled six holes into the T-panel
for these thick screws.
6mm thick in diameter.
I think these tiny screws will not hold the boxes very well.
I wanted to be sure.
They are on the roof and in the wind when I transport the car on a trailer later on.
Drilled the holes here and I hope they will match with the template.
Difficult
to get the holes lined up and the distances to the panel edges are correct.
Now I will try to mount them.
Drill some holes for the rubber holders and then mount the boxes.
Well, after very long time the boxes were finally mounted.
Finally I have made it. The upper flux boxes are on.
I have to glue the T-panel again.
The middle part and screw on the sides
so that it will be even again.
Two flux bands holders are mounted.
Yup, look good so far.
I have to hide the wormhole emitter cable.
It looks like it's in the middle.

very good. Took very long
but the result is great.
I will check on the reference pics later how the boxes should sit.
They are angled to the rear at the moment.
Maybe I have to put some wood under it.
So that the wormhole emitter looks horizontal.
Let's see on the pictures.
Next up was the front flux box.
First I drilled the mounting holes and tested it all.
I have worked on the cable for the Cannon elbow in the rear pontoon.
Explanation follows.
I have kept the length of the metal and only pushed it in.
Then the aluminum mounting plate like you have seen.
two screws with 10mm head.
So I can use a wrench to mount them from the back.
These are too short and I have to buy longer ones.
The counter plate behind the stainless panel.
The small space is a problem.
Longer screws might not fit in there.
Maybe 2cm longer.
Limited space for the mounting wrench.

I had reworked the cable for the rear Cannon connector
which is very close to the Janitrol tank.
I have slit open the cable and cut out the inner electrical wire
I have used this cable because of the matching diameter and hoses were more expensive.
I took this high voltage cable with 5 wires of 2.5mm inner core.
Then I ripped out the inner wires to make it more flexible.
and then placed it around the Janitrol-
Not ready yet-
You see how steep the cable has to climb.
And then around the tank opening.
This cable is 5m long and I will cut it into three parts
because each Cannon contains a cable that leads to the other side.
At last I have cut out the drill template for the green tubes
and cut the counter plates.
One for the other flux box and one for the green tube.

How Warren Buffett Times The Market 📈 - Duration: 4:00.
"It is probably the best single measure of where valuations stand at any given moment."
A quote from Warren Buffett regarding his favourite market indicator.
Now we all know Warren Buffett doesn't directly time the market, but he does look at certain
indicators to tell him where we might be heading in the future.
Are things overvalued, fairly priced or undervalued.
Is the market likely to crash or continue going up.
Warren Buffet's favourite indicator helps answers these questions.
Key word helps.

So Warren Buffett's favourite indicator for knowing where we are in the market is
called the Buffett indicator.
What a fitting name.
The Buffett indicator is the ratio of a country's total stock market capitalization to the overall
GDP of the country.
Let's break that down.
The total stock market capitalization is basically adding up the total value of all of the stocks
in the market.
The overall GDP of a country is the total value of absolutely everything produced by
that country in a year.
It's known as the top way of measuring a countries economy.
So we are comparing how a countries stock market is doing compared to the countries
economy in this indicator.
If the stock market is going way better then the countries economy then things are considered
overvalued.
Because people are too enthusiastic with stocks and thus pushing prices to unreasonable amounts.
If the Buffett indicator is 115% or more then things are considered overvalued.
When the stock market is going way worse then the economy then things are considered undervalued.
Because people are fearful of the stock market, unreasonably.
Even though the economy is doing well people are still worried about stocks, pushing their
prices down.
If the Buffett indicator is below 50% then things are considered well undervalued.
And if the Buffett indicator is between 75 to 90% then things are considered about right.
So now you know what to look for let's take a look at the graph for the Buffet's indicator.
Right so in April 2018 we have a percentage of 136.4%.
Let's look at what the indicator was before previous market crashes.
It went as high as 151% before the dot-com bubble crash in 2000.
And it went to around 110% before the housing bubble crash in late 2007.
So basically the higher it gets the more likely chance of a crash.
Right now the Buffett indicator is currently at 136%.
So what does this mean.
It means stocks as a whole are overvalued.
Does it mean the stock market is going to crash tomorrow?
No.
It could go as high to what it was in 2000 or even higher.
Or it could just go up at steady amounts.
The most likely option is that it will crash.
We don't when or how big.
I like to go with what Ray Dalio says and he says around a 70% chance before the next
elections in 2020 that the stock market will crash.
So what should we do?
Sell all our stocks and run?
No.
But we should rebalance our portfolio according towards the risk we are willing to take.
We should still look for undervalued stocks but also look at different places to put our
money.
Including bonds.
This is an important indicator to help judge where we are in the market cycle.
In previous videos I've given you a bunch of other tools to help judge the market.
So use them with each other.
This one is one that billionaire Warren Buffett likes the most, so it's a fairly useful
one lets just say that.

April 27th, 1805,
during the tail end of the First Barbary War,
also known as the Tripolitanian or Barbary Coast War
the Battle of Derna began.
The First Barbary War was the first overseas war
conducted by the United States,
who fought alongside Sweden against the pirates
from the nations of Tripoli, Algiers,
Tunis, and Morocco, also known collectively
as the Barbary States, from 1801 to 1805.
In 1804, Army Lieutenant William Eaton
was given permission by Thomas Jefferson
to back the claim of Hamet Karamanli,
who claimed he was the rightful heir
to the throne of Tripoli after being deposed
by his brother Yusef, who murdered his older brother
by shooting him in front of his mother.
When Eaton returned to the Mediterranean,
he sought out Hamet in Egypt, where he was in exile,
and made a proposal to put him back on the throne.
Hamet accepted.
On March 6th, 1805, Eaton and a small detachment
of eight Marines, led by First Lieutenant
Presley O'Bannon, led a force of approximately
400 Arab, Turkish, and Greek mercenaries
on a 500 mile hike from Alexandria, Egypt,
across the Libya, north African desert
to their objective of Derna, capital
of the Ottoman Empire providence of Cyrenaica,
which is considered modern-day east Libya.
The morning of April 26th, Eaton sent a letter
to Mustafa Bey, the governor of Derna.
Dear Mustafa, Governor of Derna,
My men and I were wondering if we could have
safe passage through your city,
and maybe have some additional supplies.
Sincerely, Lieutenant William Eaton.
You've got mail.
Though he was pretty sure he knew the response.
The governor reportedly responded with
"Dear Mr. Eaton, My head or yours.
Sincerely, Mustafa Bey."
Hmm, very well then. (yells)
The attack on the city began at 2:45 p.m.
on April 27th, and by four o'clock, the entire city,
guarded by 4,000 men, had fallen.
Only two Americans were killed and three were wounded,
while only nine of the mercenaries
were killed or wounded during the attack.
The casualties of the defenders are still unknown.
Yusef, who was in Tripoli to the west,
sent reinforcements to Derna.
By the time his men got there,
the city had already fallen.
After several failed attempts to retake the city,
Eaton planned to march on to attack Tripoli by land,
but was stopped during his march
in order to go back to Egypt, after a treaty
was signed by Yusef and the US Department of State.
The Battle of Derna was the first land battle
of the United States on foreign soil
since the Revolutionary War.
The attack on Derna was the event
that was the inspiration for the lyrics
^of "to the shores of Tripoli" in the Marines' Hymn.

absolutely amazed I was to witness this rapidly increasing long life that we
were having. Over my - get this 50 years - as a physician - and how - unless we
screw up globally in some way - you are very likely to have Bonus Decades that
you might not have planned for. I know some of the new medical
technologies that are coming down the pipe in the next decade or so, that may
allow you to live to 120 - 130 and perhaps more, in good health.
We may even be able to reverse aging in the near future and even
immortality is a possibility! That will put the cat among the pigeons, wouldn't
it? I'm not smoking anything and I haven't gotten completely crackers - these
are likely scenarios in your lifetime. About 10 years ago now, say
maybe around 2009 - 2010, I realized how much had changed. One afternoon in the OR,
I was the late call person and I'm starting the list of emergencies, at the
end of the day. I was told my next patient was a 96 year old lady, who had
broken her thigh bone in a fall. The only person in the Receiving Area was this
elegant - what I thought was 65 year old - lady, sitting up reading a book, so I went
back to the nurses and said "When's the patient coming?" They said,
"There is your patient" and I thought "96! This lady can't be 96" but she was. She
was elegant, she was sharp as a tack, she was amusing. We took her into the OR,
fixed her broken thigh. She sailed through her surgery and went home a few days
later. This was the first moment when a Light Bulb of Longevity went on for me.
These amazing, independently living patients, they're nearly all women
in their mid to late 90s - they kept on coming, in increasing numbers. I
remember a delightful 94 year old lady. She had a cheeky twinkle in her eye, a
terrific sense of humor and she was so excited at having her second knee
replacement in a year. She was so happy because she said to me, she'd be
able to get back to her Tai Chi and her gardening! This 94 year old was some
going concern and remember currently, by the age of 100, women outnumber men
5 to 1, because most men have shuffled off the mortal coil by then. If
you are a woman, the chances are very high that you will be alone and solely
responsible for your life and your finances, at some time in your life, and
most likely when you are older, so start planning for this now -just in case! If
you're in your 60s, you're going to have maybe another 50 to 60 years of good
quality life ahead of you, so why wouldn't you start a business, realize
your dream, because you have plenty of time to make it a success. If you liked
