Hey everyone!
I'm Farryn Mathie, Premier Leader of team Royall Posh
with Perfectly Posh LLC, and I have something very exciting to talk to you about today.
November is my Posh-a-versary!
This is my second year with Posh. On November 11th is my posh birthday
and I'm gonna tell you what hooked me to Posh, and why I joined,
why I stay and where I'm going. I think that when you are deciding to join a direct sales business
those are the three most important questions to ask yourself before you do it. My story is kind of fun because it starts out
two years ago and
one of my good friends,
gave me this little graphic with a bag full of posh goodies.
It's called a Posh Turkey Trot, and these turkey trots have kind of become
FAMOUS
from the Queen of Posh, Miss Erin Madsen, and
from my story because I'm now Premier and so I encourage all of my team members and all of my
Posh girls to do Turkey Trots because you never know
who's gonna see this Turkey Trot Packet and
join your team!? Okay, so here's how it started.
Two years ago was Perfectly Posh's 4th Birthday, and
Erin Madsen invited me to a Posh Birthday Party, and I thought, "oh
I don't go to things like that."
Right because we we don't go to things like that. You don't
initially just decide to go to a direct sales
party right!? You don't do that. You go because you feel obligated. You go because it is your friend. You go because
you know you have no idea what it is
and you're kind of just like curious and nosy right? You don't just go to Posh Birthday Parties right?
I loved Erin and to
release my biggest secret, I really wanted to be good friends with Erin. I loved who she was in town,
she's like popular, blonde, and beautiful, and they own a little Soda Shack in town,
and I just thought, "I would like to get to know this woman!
I think that she's going places and I want to go places with her!
I want to be her friend!" So of course when Erin Madsen invites me to her house I'm like, "Well,
I'm definitely going to that! I don't really care what the Party is for." So I end up going to the birthday party.
I loved that she had all these samples out and that I could like fill these little black cups
with everything I wanted then I could like take all the stuff home for free!
I didn't have any money at the time. I was a new mom my daughter had just turned one.
We were struggling to pay the bills, we didn't have such a great job. We didn't like
my husband's job at the time.
So we just didn't have a lot of extra money to spend. (I play with my hair a lot lol).
We didn't have a lot of
extra money to spend on ME. I
had a little baby brand that was bringing in a little bit of money
and I liked to do that to keep me occupied, but I didn't have a ton of extra money
especially to spend on face wash, right!? To be honest I've always had really great skin
and so I never even started washing my face until
when I was in college so the idea that this brand was face washes and lip gloss,
I wasn't into it.
But, she had all the things out there for free and I could take
whatever I wanted in this little black lacon cup.
I know that what they're called now.
I could fill it for free and so I filled bunch of those suckers, and I talked to Erin.
There was a million people at her party, I guess Erin is really popular,
she still is, but there was a million people there! She didn't even get off her couch
She just was writing orders all night long and there was free food and it was fun and so then
I got a chapstick. I got this little, I think I still have it, It's right here in my diaper bag.
I have a new baby now! I still have this one!
This is
called Make Out Magic and I thought my husband can't be mad at me for buying a
chapstick called Make Out Magic like he's not going to
be mad at me for that. So I got the little chapstick, and then I took my samples home. I ended up using-
I'm like filming this video in a parking lot and there's like one million kids like walking by-I
took my samples of
BFF, Moisturize 9-1-1, and I had my chapstick. I had a couple other ones,
but I have no idea what they were, like a foot one maybe...
I had a bunch of them... hand creams...
Anyway, so I used the BFF, and I thought "this is good!". This is way better than this cheap-o
Walgreens face wash that I had been using and I liked it! So I ended up ordering a BFF
and a Moisturize 9-1-1. They were doing all kinds of specials because it was the Birthday Month!
So I got a great deal on them and a couple weeks later...
So that was like the beginning of October, and then at the end of October
Erin had this graphic on her little VIP group, and I thought I can do that. That sounds like fun!
I could earn some free stuff right!?
Basically this says it's a Posh Turkey Trot,
November 15th through 30th, collect $100 in orders and get a free Big Fat
Yummy Hand Cream of your choice. Collect $200 in orders and get an extra item *free* of your choice, and I thought well
I should just do that! I can just get free stuff!
So I told her I would do it.
She was excited and brought over the little graphic and she brought me a catalog and she had like this
giant plastic bag that everything went in but I don't have any of those so I have this little bag.
She brought over
this.
This was really important to me. This is a little card it says
"Please note this packet is reserved for people who REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like pampering!" On the back
back is her "Why Posh?" story
This is two years old and I still have it! If you don't have your "Why Posh?",
if you are consultant, and you don't have your "Why Posh?" written out
nice like this, definitely do it. This
meant a lot to me this showed that Erin was a real person. It told me
how she got started and it basically told me if I wanted to learn more to contact her
and then I could maybe join her team.
That is all she ever said about
joining her team. She just said, "here take these catalogs and here's some order forms" and
then there was her business card and a
bunch of samples right? I looked at this
Turkey Trot paper and I looked through the catalog, I looked at the samples,
I went on the website,
and I was kind of already in the business mind because I had that little baby brand from myself
I sewed burp cloths
and I sold them online. I wanted a way to make money and this was like, I
read the compensation plan in the back of the catalog, because it's there, and I thought
"I'm just gonna get a hand cream!?" Well, I don't want a hand cream. I want money! I
took that packet full of samples,
I took that catalog and I joined this business! I said, "if I'm gonna do all the work, at my
Thanksgiving Dinner and I'm gonna try and sell this stuff, I want the money not the hand cream right!?" I was
very savvy in my business mind. If I was gonna do all the work,
I was gonna get paid for it,
not just get a hand cream!
Some people are like that and some people just want the hand cream and that is totally totally fine.
I was in a place where I was ready to make more money. I was ready to have money in my hands,
I was ready to start a business, and it's not very common to have
people join Perfectly Posh saying that they are ready to join and have a business. A lot
of our Platinum Premieres say that they raised their hand when they ask who joined Perfectly Posh as a kit-napper.
It's not very common to join Perfectly Posh to be a business owner, but I think it has definitely worked for me.
I joined in November and in December I hit Pink and
we were in an incentive for a trip to Italy and I was like, "Well, I'm obviously going to Italy!" and
so I
promoted to Pink+1 in January, Pink+2 in February, and Pink+3 in March and
I went to Italy! Then, let's see
in April or May...
So in March
I hit Pink+3
and
then we went to Italy in June, and
in June I hit Premiere. I was in Italy with all these amazing women and then we were experiencing like life-changing
environments and conversations around really savvy business women who also earned the trip to Italy and I thought,
"I'm gonna hit Premiere this month!" A couple of my friends,
we were all Pink+3, and we said yeah
"I'm gonna hit Premiere!" and we DID hit Premiere that month and our businesses have just been growing!
We're great friends still and everyone is just having a good time.
That was how I got started!
Why I chose to stay? I chose to stay with Perfectly Posh for the last two years because number one:
I was making money, real money, in my account. I was paying for things
I needed to pay for. I'm still making money today! Number two: I developed a sisterhood!
I have these friends from Italy that I'm best friends with now. I am
best friends with the Queen of Posh Miss Erin Madsen who I
originally just wanted to go to her house party so
I could hang out with her and just secretly wanted to be friends with her and now she's one of my best friends!
I have a team 160+
amazing women who want to provide for their families, want to have a sisterhood, who love the products.
Everyone has a different reason why they're here, but I think a big contributing factor is the sisterhood of Perfectly Posh!
Which is that
we love each other, we support each other, we want each other to grow our businesses because we're all here for different reasons!
Initially for me, it was: I don't want to go back to work! This baby
brand is taking up a lot of my time. I love these products,
they're easy to sell. They sell themselves because people like the way they feel, the way they smell, and
they like the price point, they like the packaging, there are just a lot of things that make it easier to sell than a lot of
other products and
it's easy to sell! So we're all here for different reasons,
I get to stay home with my kids. I have a new baby right here.
He's asleep now and so I have my three year old who's at Preschool and my new, baby.
He is two months old, and I'm still doing Posh! I'm still
making money!
I have this great sisterhood and where I'm going I see myself hitting the very top of the company! Right now
I am in the .02% of the company as a Premier and in 2018
I plan fully on hitting Platinum Premier, which is the very top!
That's why I joined, why I stay, and where I'm going. If you want to join this amazing business,
you might want to start with a Turkey Trot! That's all it is guys. It's just, she shared the products with me
I loved them. I loved the packaging, I loved the idea.
I knew I would be able to do it and I did! I'm Premier now!
I'm not looking back! I'm looking forward and
I am excited
to see where the company's going we've got some new things happening with
Fizi Bath Bombs and Vial Lip Stain which I have right here.
I'm really excited about these and so you know you never know what's gonna happen when
someone does a party for you.
You give them a little bit of information and just let their brain wander. That is my
"Why Posh?" story. That is my why I'm here,
