Coronation Street's Pat Phelan has another 'secret' murder victim — but who is it?

After the murderer (Connor McIntyre) and his wife Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) have a showdown during their holiday getaway, the truth about Phelans murders will finally be revealed to Weatherfield.

The residents will be gobsmacked, and one person who will certainly make it worse is Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

He will tell Coronation Street cast member Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) he feels responsible for introducing Vinnys mum Flora to Phelan, and decides to try and find her.

The last time fans saw Flora was when Phelan threatened Vinny about his mums safety over video message, when he told him he could hurt his mum if he didnt meet up with him.

Phelan sisterly told Vinny: I'm a vengeful one and I promise you, if you're not here in a week, both you and your dear old mum are going to find out exactly what I'm capable of. Fans have been wondering what has happened to Flora since the creepy interaction, as they took to social media to wonder if Phelan had got rid of her.

One posted: Did we find out what he's done with Flora? Another added: I wonder where he's put Flora.

A third chipped in: I hope flora is safe and sound she was so sweet.

Did Phelan secretly murder another Corrie character? We wouldnt put it past him… Corrie continues on Friday at 7.

30pm on ITV.

Christianity After Disclosure, Part 1 Not Atonement, But At One - Duration: 13:35.

Christianity After Disclosure, Part 1 Not Atonement, But At-One-Ment

Eight in ten people in the world claim to be adherents of a religion with a third of

them identifying themselves as Christian.

We live in a world on the brink of global disclosure of massive amounts of heretofore

hidden information that includes exoplanet life, crimes against humanity, and amazing

technological and scientific advances that will seem like science fiction.

When will this happen?

It seems that this is being negotiated now, behind the scenes, between groups who have

been warring for millennia.

With the likely prospect of some sort of major disclosures on the horizon, several important,

and far reaching questions, begin to surface.

What will disclosure say about the foundations of institutional Christianity?

How might the average Sunday going church crowd throughout the world be affected emotionally

and spiritually given certain Christian interpretations about the salvific nature of Jesus of Nazareth?

What might be ways in which the Christian message can be reinterpreted so as to fit

the emerging global and cosmic reality upon which disclosure may shine a light?

This series of brief essays attempts to identify several themes that could bring some light

into how the mainline Christian narrative might be challenged.

I hope to provide suggestions to a path forward that can help assuage the massive disillusionment

that may come with disclosure.

What is unknowable at this time in history is: 1) how much disclosure will happen, and

2) how quickly will the full disclosure take to roll out?

Disclosure about aliens will, indeed, be shocking enough for many people but what will be more

crippling is disclosure about massive and millennia-long manipulations of humanity by

an elite who follow what is known as the service-to-self, or left-hand, spiritual path whose goal is

to control and dominate the masses at the service of the very few.

Part of this manipulation, it will be disclosed, has been the intentional creation or coopting

of belief systems, Christianity included.

Does this mean that we must throw the baby out with the bathwater after disclosure?

Are there any redeeming qualities of religions, particularly Christianity?

My conjecture is that the spirit of the Infinite Creator has already been addressing this and

all we have to do is tap into a flow that has been renewing peoples hearts and minds

on a mass scale.

It is my firm belief that all of the major worlds religions already have within them

at their deeper levels facets of the immortal diamond of reality that will feel intimately

familiar and will provide access to a more holistic understanding of the fabric of a

unified reality.

In order for people to access this deeper level, one thing for sure will be necessary:

a return to the contemplative tradition wherein the individual and collective ego is bypassed

and people begin to break open to their religions non-dual essence rather than heeding dualistic

tendencies that pit people against each other.

Disclosure will not only act like a psychic bomb that will flatten fragile belief structures

but for those with the eyes to see it, expose and make more accessible any deeper, sometimes

hidden, facets to this diamond that have remained hidden until humanity was ready.

What in Christianity needs to be blown away and what needs to be revealed?

Substitutionary Atonement Theory

The most successful and most damaging theology of the mainline Christian narrative hinges

around the idea that Jesus needed to come into the world in order to save it from a

wrathful god.

This idea may have its roots in the Roman take over of the early Christian church in

the early fourth century when the Roman Emperor Constantine made Christianity the state religion.

My guess is that things were already afoot well before the corporate takeover but to

try to prove this lies beyond my goal in this blog.

What is obvious is that forever afterwards, Christianity was identified with the strong

and powerful instead of the poor and marginalized.

For the first thousand years of Christianity, the common belief was the Jesus had to pay

humanitys debt to the devil in order for God to get His people back.

Later in the twelfth century, Anselm of Canterbury developed a sophisticated theology that revealed

a narrative wherein God had to send his Son into the world to pay a debt owed to God since

humanity could not pay it.

What we see in this version of atonement theory is that Jesus becomes the great sacrifice

offered up to a god who demanded a bloody transaction in order for the relationship

between this god and his creation to be right again.

In all practicality, this version of god is modeled upon Zeus who is always at the ready

to throw lighting bolts at those who dont live up to his demands.

After Jesus is killed and offered up for sacrifice to a now appeased god, he rises from the dead

and ascends into heaven thus unlocking the gates to eternal life for us.

Indeed, the mainline Christian understanding is that before Jesus opened the gates of heaven,

there was no salvation from a hellish afterlife.

Jesus made all of this possible.

Moreover, Jesus took over the role of divine judge from the Father and we picture him on

a throne in heaven casting out judgments and condemning most of humanity to eternal punishment

unless one professes belief in him and his salvific work.

The goal, then, is to spend ones life forever thanking Jesus for dying for our sins and

rising so that we unfortunate and unworthy souls could enjoy eternal bliss.

What is demanded is belief but no real life transformation into a larger way of seeing

and being in the world.

In this belief system only the few with the right beliefs and church membership are saved

while the vast majority are doomed.

Does this sound like a service-to-self mindset?

It should.

There are kinder versions of the substitutionary atonement theory but they all offer a similar

set up albeit with more nuance.

No wonder why so many people are leaving their childhood faith which cannot offer much consolation

nor dialog with a world that has discovered quantum physics and the extreme vastness of

space.

Another big problem with the mainline atonement theory about Jesus role in humanity is

that it is Earth specific.

I remember years ago I was speaking to a young, very conservative, Catholic seminarian.

He said that logically there could not be any intelligent life on other planets because

this would bring into question Jesus salvific work for humanity.

How?

Mired in the atonement theory, he explained that Jesus death and resurrection were

required to pay the debt of sin that humanity had amassed and thus were linked specifically

to Earth.

Logically, the salvific work of Jesus would not, could not, cover another planets karma

since Jesus, as God, redeemed humanity and then returned to Heaven from whence He came.

Once Jesus was up there, he wouldnt come back down and do the whole thing again

for another planet.

Why?

Because Jesus sacrifice was a one and done deal.

As the reader can see, any disclosure of extraterrestrials will blow this narrow belief system apart

leaving many mainline Christians, including their leaders, reeling in massive confusion.

At-One-Ment: An Alternative Orthodoxy

Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest, is one of the leading voices in the spiritual landscape

today who is reminding us that there are other Christian narratives besides the mainline

one that offer an alternative understanding of the Jesus Event in history.

Indeed, across Christian denominations one finds the Spirit moving and unifying people

who are being attracted to contemplative practice, simple living, and service to the marginalized.

One example of this is the emergent church movement.

The following is from the Wikepedia site:

________________________________

Proponents believe the movement transcends such modernist labels of conservative

and liberal, calling the movement a conversation to emphasize its developing

and decentralized nature, its vast range of standpoints, and its commitment to dialogue.

Participants seek to live their faith in what they believe to be a postmodern society.

What those involved in the conversation mostly agree on is their disillusionment with the

organized and institutional church and their support for the deconstruction of modern Christian

worship, modern evangelism, and the nature of modern Christian community.

Gibbs and Bolger[23] interviewed a number of people involved in leading emerging churches

and from this research have identified some core values in the emerging church, including

desires to imitate the life of Jesus; transform secular society; emphasise communal living;

welcome outsiders; be generous and creative; and lead without control.

Ian Mobsby suggests this movement is over and against some forms of conservative evangelicalism

and other reformed ecclesiologies since the enlightenment that have neglected the Trinity,

which has caused problems with certainty, judgementalism and fundamentalism and the

increasing gap between the Church and contemporary culture.[29]

________________________ An alternative orthodox re-emphasizes the

Trinity and brings this central Christian doctrine back into dialog with science and

culture.

The great problem with atonement theory is that it in effect pulled Jesus out of the

Trinity and recapitulated a top-down, hierarchical theocracy with Jesus as the King and humanity

his grateful servants.

As we will see in a later essay, the Trinity understood as the flow of love between three

forces of the Infinite Creator, is tailor made to address a cosmic reality.

People of other religions, and many post-Christians, are rightly distrustful of mainline Christianitys

overplaying the Jesus card since it resulted in an imperial religion that often seems exclusive

and small.

It is quite likely that Jesus never intended to found a whole new religion because he was

attempting to reform his own religion, Judaism, by emphasizing teachings from his own scriptures

that portrayed God as inclusive, loving, and merciful.

He saw God as love and he clearly had an intimate relationship with whom he referred to as his

Abba, or daddy.

An alternative orthodoxy, then, can be summed up with Rohrs interpretation of Rene Girards

work, Jesus did not come to change the mind of God about humanity.

It didnt need changing.

Instead, Jesus came to change humanitys mind about God. God, as the Infinite Creator,

has always been loving, merciful, inclusive.

Any interpretations of God as being wrathful and elitist reveal not Gods character but

rather that of the humans positioned in power who fostered the life-limiting narratives.

Jesus did not come to atone for our sins and pay an outstanding debt but rather he was

invited by the Infinite Creator to a mission that revealed to humanity it was always one

with God and any understanding of separation between God and humanity and between humanity,

itself, is an illusion.

This is lived-statement of at-one-ment.

Conclusion of Part I

If Christianity is to have relevance in the future, most especially after disclosure begins,

we need to continue to re-embrace the more hidden, yet orthodox, diamonds of truth which

are being uncovered in our time.

In this essay, I highlighted the substitutionary atonement theory that sets up a belief system

for most mainline Christians where the Infinite Creator is more akin to Zeus or Santa Claus

who keeps a list and he checks it twice to find out who is naught or nice.

This belief system is even now unsustainable but after disclosure, it clearly wont make

sense.

Instead, Christians can be invited into a collective liminal space where a larger understanding

of the cosmos can break in since the stronghold of the atonement theory would be broken open.

A new interpretation of Jesus is not totally necessary since Christianity, in its mystical

and contemplative forms, which have always remained more hidden, offers an alternative

orthodoxy that fits nicely within the idea that the Infinite Creator has always been

loving and united with us since the very universe itself is Gods Body.

This is not some new age tenant, but can be seen in the very first verse of Johns Gospel:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In the next essay, we will reflect on how the Logos, through Jesus, revealed to humanity

a new way of living that reduces karmic debt by teaching us how to love and forgive.

Jesus sacrifice on the cross was not a transaction but an invitation to human transformation.

Bee Movie But It's About Capitalism (Seriously.) – Wisecrack Edition - Duration: 11:23.

Hey Wisecrack, Jared here.

Today, we're talking about the internet's favorite bee-based film, Bee Movie.

While it's mostly remembered as source material for YouTube remixes, Jerry Seinfeld's animated

debut has a lot to teach us about economic theory.

Bee Movie is a bizarre analysis of both the shortcomings and the successes of capitalism,

and strongly mirrors one of the foundational texts of modern economics which, bee-lieve

it or not, is also about bees.

Welcome to this Wisecrack Edition on the Economics of Bee Movie.

As always, spoilers ahead for a 2007 computer-animated comedy about bees.

First, a quick recap.

Protagonist Barry B. Benson is disillusioned by the prospect of a life of menial labor

in the hive.

"You'll be happy to know that bees, as a species, haven't had a day off in twenty-seven

million years."

"So you'll just work us to death?"

"We'll sure try!"

While exploring the outside world, Barry falls in love with a florist named Vanessa and discovers

that humans are exploiting millions of bees for their honey.

Barry successfully sues the human race for exclusive rights to said honey.

But soon after that, the world's plant population begins to die off.

With the life of the planet at stake, it's up to Barry and Vanessa to save the day.

What drives Bee Movie's plot forward is, essentially, Barry's aversion to manual

labor.

It's what drives him out of the hive in the first place.

"I'm going out."

"Out?

Out where?"

"Out there!"

"Oh, no!"

"I have to.

Before I go to work for the rest of my life."

And when the court eventually decides in favor of the bees, he reveals his underlying motivation

for filing the lawsuit: "Vanessa, do you know what this means?

All the honey is finally going to belong to the bees!

Now, we won't have to work so hard all the time!"

Yet, this is hardly the way that Barry frames his argument for the jury.

Instead, he offers a Marxist critique of industrial honey production.

Specifically, Barry argues that because their honey is taken and sold to profit the honey

farm owners, bees as a species are being alienated from the product of their labor, divorced

from what Marx referred to as their "species being."

In a nutshell, Marx bee-lieved that one of the fundamental drives of human nature is

to labor and to appreciate the objects of that labor.

One of the major sins of capitalism is that it distances people from the results of their

hard work, leaving them without a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Barry extends this idea from humans to bees, arguing that, in stealing their honey, the

farmers are taking more from the bees than just material goods: "And what I'm hoping

is that, after this is all over, you'll see how, by taking our honey, you're not only

taking away everything we have, but everything we are!"

Barry's argument likens the bee-human relationship to that between the exploited proletariat

and the owners of capital.

"They make the honey, and we make the money."

Because the capitalist mode of production alienates the domesticated bees from honey,

the object of their labor, the bees are alienated from their essential "bee-ness," that

sense of themselves as a species that makes their lives meaningful.

"Is this what nature intended for us?

To be forcibly addicted to these smoke machines in man-made wooden slat work camps?

Living out our lives as honey slaves to the white man?"

And for good measure, the film throws in a subtle reference to Ayn Rand's "Atlas

Shrugged" to really drive home the capitalist nature of the hive.

Barry successfully argues that the bees' natural right to their labor has been violated,

putting him in direct opposition to Layton T. Montgomery, the lawyer for the defense

whose rotundity is not unlike the depiction of the bourgeoisie in Soviet propaganda.

"This is an unholy perversion of the balance of nature, Benson.

You'll regret this."

And, in a surprising move for an animated family film, it turns out that the ostensible

villain might actually have a point.

With the court case in the bag, Barry sets about reforming the system in the bees'

favor.

But things don't work out the way he'd hoped.

With the bees' demand for honey satisfied by an influx of more product than they could

possibly use, the bees have no incentive to work.

The effect is twofold.

For one thing, the bees - and Barry's best friend Adam, in particular - lose their sense

of purpose, despite Barry's claim that it was the alienation of their labor that deprived

them of purpose in the first place.

"I don't understand why they're not happy.

We have so much now, I thought their lives would be better.

They're doing nothing!"

By providing the bees with a practically infinite honey supply, Barry has inadvertently replaced

one crisis with another.

Under these new conditions, with no need to labor, the bees are distanced in an entirely

new way from their "species being."

Under the previous system, the bees were alienated from the object of their labor, but at least

they had the labor itself, a set of tasks that gives their lives meaning and structure.

The sudden surplus of honey eliminates the need for labor entirely, leaving them feeling

bored and depressed.

"I was excited to be a part of making it.

This was my new desk.

This was my new job.

I wanted to do it really well.

And now...

Now I can't."

What's worse, due to the lack of pollination, the world's plant population begins to die

out, putting the entire planet and, in particular, Vanessa's flower shop at risk.

So, how is Barry going to save himself and the rest of the world from this mess?

Oddly enough, he gets out the same way he got in - by being a bee-gotistal jerk.

Barry decides to take action, not because his fellow bees are down in the dumps, or

because the ecosystem is collapsing , but because Vanessa gets mad at him.

"I ruined the planet, and I wanted to help you with your flower shop.

Instead, I made it worse."

"Actually, it's completely closed down!"

The threat of losing Vanessa is what finally gives Barry the kick in the no-pants he needs

to do something about the problems he's created.

His scheme to re-pollinate the plants of Central Park is borne not out of a sense of altruism,

but out of a Barry's selfish desire to engage in cross-species pollination.

In Bee Movie, self-centered actions can and do promote the greater good of society.

Barry's initial desire to escape work saves the bees from exploitative labor practices.

When his initial solution to that problem turns out to be an overcorrection, Barry saves

the day not by making personal sacrifices, but by trying even harder to fulfill his own

wishes.

While it's probably a coincidence, it's worth noting that the idea that individual

acts of selfishness could lead to collective benefits was proposed more than three hundred

years ago in another bee thing: "The Fable of the Bees: or, Private Vices, Public Benefits"

written by economist Bernard Mandeville.

In the similar but distinct story, a prosperous beehive lives in comfort and ease until someone

decides to rid it of vice.

At this point, believing even comfort to be a sin, thousands of bees die as the prosperity

of the hive collapses.

Mandeville thus argued that societal progress is not the result of people putting aside

their wants and needs for the good of all.

Instead, collectively useful things like laws, government institutions, and cultural practices

come about when individuals selfishly pursue their own wants, needs, and even straight-up

vices.

According to Mandeville, the idea of a purely virtuous society is "a vain utopia," because,

to him, all public efforts at societal improvement are rooted in the selfish desire to be liked

and supported by one's fellow citizens.

Now, while some scholars believe that Mandeville wrote the Fable as a satire or criticism of

contemporary mercantilists who believed in the inherent morality of making money, this

model influenced many economic thinkers, notably Scottish economist and 'invisible hand'

dude Adam Smith.

Barry B. Benson is a textbook case of what Mandeville refers to as the "skillful politician,"

an individual who channels the private vices of individuals into large-scale social change.

Barry wants to get Central Park re-pollinated in no small part because it will make his

ladyfriend happy.

He gets the bees to undertake this massive task, not by appealing to their better nature

and asking them to save the planet, but by asking them to advance their own interests.

"If we're going to survive as a species this is our moment!

So what do you all say?

Are we going to be bees?

Or just Museum of Natural History keychains?"

He promises the chance to ensure their own survival and reclaim the the sense of purpose

they lost in the wake of the lawsuit.

Humanity doesn't even get a passing mention.

Yet, in spite of the bees' selfish motivations, the whole planet benefits from their actions.

Private vice has created a public benefit.

And let's not miss the fact that Barry re-pollinates Vanessa's flowers first.

Bee Movie paints private vice as a kind of accelerating force, the kick-start needed

to push society out of practices that are unjust or unworkable and toward a more sustainable

model.

While there may be bumps along the way, the selfish pursuit of one's own desires will

ultimately lead to changes which benefit the system as a whole.

Which is why a movie that started off with a Marxist critique of capitalism ultimately

doubles back on that argument to reaffirm the usefulness of the capitalist system - with

a few caveats.

Barry, having successfully avoided menial labor by becoming a lawyer, shares an office

space with Vanessa, from which they sell "bee-approved honey."

"Would you like some honey with that?

It is bee-approved!"

This might seem like a throwaway line, but it actually indicates a significant change

to the prevailing capitalist system.

Whereas the bees working on industrial honey farms were once completely exploited, they

have now been more fully integrated into the capitalist machine, such that they have a

degree of regulatory power over the sale and distribution of honey.

This is the film's way of rejecting the laissez-faire capitalism of the honey farmers

in favor of a more benign market economy.

The movie doesn't specify how honey becomes 'bee-approved' . But it seems safe to

say that bees now have a seat at the table, an ability to influence honey production,

if not to control it directly.

In any event, both humans and bees still pursue the fulfillment of their own private vices,

but minor checks and balances prevent massive exploitation of the "little guys."

So, is Barry a failed Leon Trotskbee, or a successful Jordan Beelfort?

Is the economic system shown in Bee Movie as robust as the way they portray the science

of bees?

WHOA! Broward County Schools Sitting on Over $100 MIL For Student Safety! BUT IT GETS WORSE… - Duration: 5:14.

WHOA!

Broward County Schools Sitting on Over $100 MIL For Student Safety!

BUT IT GETS WORSE…

John Porter just wrote an article that blows the lid off the steam-pot of corruption and

could be linked to the reasons why 17 people were murdered in Parkland, Florida.

From one person to another, you can't imagine the loss and tragedy of those affected by

the lives lost that horrible day in February where a school was shot up and blood and bullets

were flying like it was just an ordinary day.

With no thanks to the cowards who work for the Broward police, the shooter fired on for

6 about six minutes and terrorized the area.

There's been fallouts, meltdowns, and fingers pointed at numerous causes for what lead up

to the ultimate poor decision by Nikolas Cruz to shoot people at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas

High School.

A troubled life at home followed by a what could have been a terrible life at school

thanks to people like Emma Gonzalez who claimed to bully the shooter when he was younger and

you can almost figure out why a person with mental illness would finally snap and murder

people.

His troubles at home and school and the adults around him who failed to find him help when

he needed it most ultimately allowed him to fall into a snapping mode that resulted in

bloodshed. Then John Porter, writing for Louder With Crowder, found this information that

talks about how the Broward County schools had been resting on a massive budget allocated

for school safety.

Sounds great that a school is funded well for security, but then you find out that they

are not spending the money in a way that's helpful to the school.

You also find out that if they continue spending at the slow rate they're doing, then it

would take about another 50-60 years until the current budget is spent, meaning the safety

and security measures that could have been in place to save students could've been

implemented.

Instead, they're doing something else with the money.

As per DML News: "In 2014, Superintendent Runcie successfully convinced Broward residents

to vote on $800 million in bonds for Broward County Public Schools to invest back into

the schools.

According to The Qualification Selection Evaluation Committee (QSEC), an anti-corruption measure,

there should be a committee of 11 people, five of whom are members from the public,

that would decide what companies were given lucrative contracts to manage that $800,000,000

in voter approved projects.

Just a year later, Runcie, who was tasked with bringing transparency to the board, moved

to bypass those anti-corruption measures by removing members of the public from voting

on who received the contracts.

School Board member Robin Bartleman opposed removing the public from the decisions saying,

"It's going to be an issue."

She went on to say, "Stuff like this snowballs.

Things like this get out of control.

I've seen it before."

Robin Bartleman was right.

Three years later, the program has been fraught with delays.

Robert Runcie's former special assistant revealed contracts were being awarded unfairly,

and cost estimates for projects that are nowhere near completion are booming with as much as

57%.

As part of the program, $104,325,821 was designated specifically for school safety.

Of that money, only $4,673,508 (roughly 4.4%) has been spent over the past three years.

If the school safety money continues to be doled out at the current rate of 1.46% spent

per year, Broward Public Schools will not see the entirety of that safety money for

another 68 years, or the year 2,086.

It's not just Broward.

There are grants given to states and school districts throughout the country, but often

it's not spent on safety.

The parents don't realize this because they don't read the 1,200-page reports that bury

the information.

Students are not safe."It's nothing new when a school district ruins their budget

and the students are ultimately affected.

Just imagine if the school district spent the money they had to implement proper security

measures and hire security who had courage.

Perhaps students and staff could have been saved.

Unfortunately, they were not saved and the shooting was not prevented.

Now the people who are digging deep to find answers are uncovering layers of corruption

that people wished would have remained secretive because now their cover is blown and they're

be facing the public in their area when these facts break the ice of the mainstream media.

What now?

Will they spend the money they've been given instead of sitting on it and letting it get

dusty?

Will they finally provide a safe school and help for students and families who suffer

from mental health issues.

There are so many factors that lead up to the horrible school shooting and each of them

played a really set of cards in an ultimately losing hand that cost of the lives of family

and friends.

Corey Feldman says he was stabbed in attempted murder but police are telling a different story - Duration: 3:15.

Corey Feldman says he was stabbed in attempted murder but police are telling a different

story

Something odd is going on with Corey Feldman.

The star stated on Twitter that he was attacked Tuesday night in an incident the actor called

an attempted murder. He claimed the LAPD was investigating the incident as an "attempted

homicide" but police told Fox News that's not the case.

Feldman wrote in all caps early Wednesday morning, "IM IN THE HOSPITAL! I WAS ATTACKED

2NITE! A MAN OPENED MY CAR DOOR & STABBED ME W SOMETHING! PLEASE SAY PRAYERS 4 US! THANK

GOD IT WAS ONLY MYSELF & MY SECURITY IN THE CAR, WHEN 3 MEN APPROACHED! WHILE SECURITY

WAS DISTRACTED, W A GUY A CAR PULLED UP & ATTACKED! IM OK!"

In a follow-up tweet, Feldman claimed the LAPD was investigating his case -- a claim

the LAPD denied to Fox News.

Officer Luis Garcia told us that while Feldman was stopped at an intersection Tuesday night,

the former child star stated that an unknown male made a stabbing motion at his stomach

and fled. He then drove himself to a hospital. Upon the investigation [it was] determined

there were no lacerations to his abdomen," Garcia said adding that Feldman could not

describe his alleged attacker or the weapon to police.

Feldman, who has made headlines recently for speaking out about alleged pedophiles in Hollywood,

said on Twitter he was targeted.

"I HAVE HAD MOUNTING THREATS ON ALL [social media] PLATFORMS BY THIS VILE 'WOLFPACK' & THIS

IM SURE IS A RESULT OF THOSE NEGATIVE ACTIONS! I HAVE REASON 2 BELIEVE ITS ALL CONNECTED!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! HOW SICK R THESE PPL?!?"

Feldman's hospitalization comes six weeks after the 46-year-old actor was cleared in

an LAPD sexual battery investigation from an alleged incident last year.

Feldman has publicly stated he was molested by powerful people in the entertainment industry

when he was an '80s child star. He has said his close friend ? the late Corey Haim ? was

raped when he was a child by the same industry predators.

Feldman claimed on "Dr. Oz" in November that Jon Grissom was one of his abusers. He also

told Megyn Kelly that convicted sex offender Marty Weiss harmed him. However, the LAPD

dropped an investigation into his claims later that month.

The actor expressed concerns for his security at the end of October. As part of an Indiegogo

campaign, he asked for donations to help pay for security.

"Ever since I discussed the fact that I have this plan, my life has turned to utter chaos,"

Feldman said in October. "Ive been silenced my whole life, but just over the past few

days since I made that announcement, Ive been arrested, I had a near-death experience

last night where I felt like I was almost going to be killed. Two trucks came speeding

at me at the same time on a crosswalk."

He added, "Im very alone. I need to protect myself and I need to protect my family,

he said. I need additional security and I need a legal team to help represent me so

that I can fulfill this mission."

We Know Nissan Can Sell Electric Cars, But Can It Race Them? - Duration: 2:48.

While the Nissan Leaf is the bestselling electric car in history, Nissan has been conspicuously

absent from Formula E, the first major race series for electric cars.

That will change later this year when Nissan joins Formula E for the series' fifth season.

The Japanese automaker unveiled its Formula E race car at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show,

and Digital Trends was live at the 2018 New York Auto Show for its next appearance.

All Formula E teams use the same basic chassis, which is completely redesigned for the upcoming

season.

The second-generation Formula E car incorporates the "halo," a protective hoop around the

cockpit meant to protect the driver's head that is also being implemented in Formula

One.

The new electric race car also has a battery pack large enough to run an entire race on

one charge.

Drivers currently run half the race in one car and then switch to another because of

the lack of range.

Like all other teams, Nissan wasn't allowed to change the body of the car, other than

applying its own livery, that is.

The battery pack is standardized as well, although teams are allowed to go their own

way when it comes to other aspects of the powertrain.

The restrictions are meant to keep costs down, and ensure a level playing field.

Organizers want to avoid the current situation of Formula One, where a handful of wealthy

teams dominate the field by outspending their poorer rivals.

Nissan may be the newest Formula E competitor, but it has a big head start.

That is because it will be able to lean on the expertise of partner Renault, which has

won the team championship in every Formula E season so far.

Nissan is replacing Renault in the series, so the French automaker's experience will

likely be directly applied to the new Japanese team in order to make it competitive out of

the gate.

Automakers are flocking to Formula E in order to project a greener image and to prove they

are serious about selling electric cars to the public.

Audi and BMW are stepping up their involvement in the series, and Porsche and Mercedes-Benz

will join soon.

Nissan has sold enough Leafs to prove that it is serious about electric cars, but racing

might add a bit more excitement to the automaker's electrification efforts.

Holly Willoughby turns sex siren in daring PVC outfit — but fans aren't impressed

The 37-year-old went for a more daring choice and opted for a loose black and white t-shirt and some tight-fitting PVC trousers.

The glamorous bottoms flaunted Holly Willoughbys enviable legs as she paired the outfit with some simple white heels.

While most fans were stunned by Hollys latest fashion choice, others were annoyed at her decision to wear such an expensive outfit.

One posted: Holly youre looking so hot in those PVC trousers. Another added: Fantastic pvc trousers beautiful woman. But one chipped in: ust looked at the prices.

Wow!!! Too much for me, I'll just look..

A fourth wrote: Thanks for picking such an expensive outfit Holly, pity we cant all afford it. Oops.

Hollys trousers were from Rag & Bone, whose trousers go for between £900 to £1,100.

Meanwhile Holly left her fans in stitches as she uploaded a video of her co-host Phillip Schofield having to rescue her in the ITV studios.

Poor Hollys handbag had been wrapped around the door handle just before the door locked itself, meaning Holly was trapped.

She told him as he saved her: OMG! I was stuck.

I was banging, nobody was coming.

Then I thought Id call you.

Thanks for saving me. This Morning continues tomorrow at 10.30am on ITV.
