from Italian is verità that means truth and vero is actually just true but
it's the same thing it's the same concept vero was founded in 2015 and
claims to not be like every other social media in the past four days it has had a
growth of two thousand four hundred percent basically it's booming one of
the reasons for it is basically this app will have an annual fee but the first
million will never have to pay for it so this is why it's kind of like booming
right now so much so that according to the figaro yesterday they said
it was the 22nd most downloaded app so you know saying what are you waiting for

now that you know about the fact let's go more on the vibe of the app because I
think this is quite important to talk about it all starts with the concept of
social media social media is great in many many ways it gets you to connect
with people that you would have lost touch if it wasn't for social media it
helps you like organize events very easily especially on Facebook keep up to date
with other people's life or the your close friend's life and everything
reconnect with people from the past social medias really really wanted at
the start to connect people you know what social media was supposed to be but
let's face it what happened next was not the best thing ever
the consequences it has had today on society have not been all positive girls who
have eating disorders let alone the fact that people just post about the
highlights of their life making you believe that everyone's life is better
than yours and leading to like mental health issues especially depression
I mean online bullying and all that stuff like a lot of bad of have come
with the good stuff it's not really the most incredible beautiful la la land world
ever right so what is vero proposing so vero really understands the fact that
social media is supposed to connect people although they technically don't
want to be called as social media they kind of are they are really trying to
take the best parts of social media without all the other crap so now we're
going to enter the section how they actually are doing that to answer that
question we're going to start with the features that they proposed so let's
start with what you can post on there just like Instagram you can post videos
and photos you can also post recommendation to music TV shows movies
places books also so you have all these different categories which enable people
to really understand who's kind of in their same like kind of jam you know
maybe you're book lover so you'll use the book section much more than me as a
videographer who will definitely connect more with people who post more
video stuff and the beautiful thing about the app is that you can really
clearly have a different feeds depending on what you're looking for so
you got a profile on Instagram for instance you have just one feed and that
is a mix of pictures and videos since viewer has so many categories if
you had just one feed with book recommendation and movie TV places all
that stuff you it will get like quite enough messy so what they did is they
have a feed for everything if that's what you're into but they also have like
different separate feeds for the different categories so one feed only
for books one feed only for links also so if you have YouTube videos just like
me your post links on it one feed for like places and so on
second of all you decided who you're posting your things too. who else here had
that dilemma where you wanted to use Instagram for your personal life but had
to use another accountable public account to post stuff for more follower
base or like as an influencer I basically have just one account on
Instagram and it's this one Francesca Michaud and I've really hesitated in like
posting pictures of like me in a bikini sometimes because I thought maybe I
don't want everyone to see that I just want like my close friends or maybe you
know my lover or something like that you know and it's just so annoying to not be
able to have fully control of who's seeing what well the feature that they
propose is amazing so there are two main categories: the connections and the
followers okay, and within the connections that the close friends the
friends and the acquaintances with the swipe of your finger you can decide who
sees what and I think that that is such a game changer no other platform does
that just like Instagram you can decide to use filters or crop or you know
contrast and all that so you can definitely edit the video or the photo
within the apps there's a chat option so there are different like options on
the app you can search there's an the feed and there's a chat box and
your profile and notifications, I have the feeling and guess since it's super
new and have a sense to do research but don't worry I'll put other pages are
linked below apparently can only chat to your
connections and not your follows so to be announced I still have to like see if
that's the case but it seems to be that way another feature that I'm extremely
excited about is that you can introduce people to whoever you decide you want to
introduce them so for instance say that I just met a videographer that is
incredible and I have my community of videographers in my friends I can
literally introduce their profile on my profiles and with a little introduction
this is this guy so yeah you can definitely introduce whoever you want
with the introduction you want and I just feel that is so cool like it almost
feels like real life also for those who are there more for lucrative thing you
can buy directly in the app and you can donate directly in the app now I have to
talk to you about Vero's promises and I hope you are as excited as I am to
listen to these because guys this is quite revolutionary so for those who
don't really know that much about social media the platforms nowadays Facebook
and Instagram and like others do use your personal data and sell it to
advertisers but one of the promises and one of the mottos of arrow is that they
see us as their customers and not as their products for advertisers they put
us the user in the frontline of the interest you know like we are the ones
who need to take the most out of the platforms and not advertise this means
the down no ads guys can you tell me one that fun with their ads I mean finally
something without ads I am so excited about that day are taking ad away I am
so pumped the downside of the fact that there are ads on the platform in steps
zero is going to charge an annual fee to be on decision-maker phone because they
do need some money to run the business apparently it's not going to be a big
feat anyway it's going to be something quite affordable
apparently the article from the figure was gonna say a few coffees but you know
I would rather just use the fact that they're going to have like
the first million for free forever and just down with it now while you're
seeing this so the third thing I'm extremely happy about is the fact that
there's no data mining so just like I said before how the platform's are kind
of sending all of our data to these big corporations they promise not to do that
and since you do still give some kind of data to the platform when you sign up I
love the fact that on the website of veero they really do try to make it
super clear what they do with that information and they're extremely
transparent and they really work like big paragraphs on why they ask that and
how they use it exactly so I just really appreciate that transparency okay this
is a big one guys are you ready guys no algorithms have you realize how Facebook
you post something but it doesn't appear straightaway on your feet or on the feed
of your friends it kind of appears like maybe like we're way under other posts
well that is because their little robot their algorithms out there who are
basically deciding what post goes first meaning that what you post and other
people's posts are not in chronological order so what very well promises to do
is to not have any algorithms this side where if your person is it will be
literally chronological order so I think this is so freakin cool especially
craters out there you guys you know you know you know how I feel about this you
do cause like I'm ecstatic about it so yeah and finally finally everyone is
treated equally what does that mean it means that you know on the other social
media platforms if you're a guy with like millions of views or in YouTube if
you are a guy with millions of likes herbs you will kind of have priority in
the rankings of the videos okay where's like on vero it's not at all that way
you will have the exact same equal rights on the platform it really gives
us everybody the opportunity to really make it which is why youtubers are
really calling this the kind of the golden ticket for anyone who
wants to become someone big okay so the bad things I realized until now been
mine that I've done a lot of research by having played with the app a lot so this
is the first video of many gthis quite it's a bit choppy it a bit of bugs and
this is copy paste feature and you commonly use it for some reason and also
it's a bit weird in a sense it's a bit hard to understand where people are add
to how to use things at first is not super like simplistic because downloads
are features that's why but they did try to make it simple so it's not super
smooth for now although it's all some people who claim that it is super smooth
maybe for them it was for me not really but again it's in its beta version so
fingers crossed let's see how it goes and now let's
compare with other social media platforms so this for Facebook and
Instagram in category because basically they are kind of the same those same
people it's not chronological their loads of advertisements it's kind of
like crowded with crabs that I don't want to see and also you can pay to
boost your posts and anyone can do that so even the crappiest guy who doesn't
know how to make a video just appears on my feet and it's so annoying like I get
annoyed by that but maybe you're not that way guy for the viewer is gonna be
much cleaner especially into like insta was kind of the place where I felt I was
like without all the ads and everything and since I did there suggested thing
like it really like annoyed me guys like I didn't know instead you were kind of
my safe heaven when I didn't have to see stuff and they introduced it and it was
like I think that but it is chronological so it's not like
instant Facebook I don't know there's so much spam on the platform I don't know
about you but I do felt it's super spammy and I also get a bit annoyed
after a bit like either because of the spam or because of like wait comments so
people being really mean or stupid on it sometimes I feel that zero is going to
be tailored to a community this much more like you know like willing to help
each other out kind of thing so I really hope this is how it's gonna be
snapchat new update kind of crap it basically is pushing me to watch an
ad so again ad ad ad I can't stand you bye bye YouTube
well I love YouTube okay like YouTube is faith for me I love it
I guess that it could be good for the people who the fact that vo is getting
an equal opportunity to everyone and because I know with the new updates on
YouTube lots of people were bitter from the fact that they were not getting
monetized blah blah blah this viewer want to kill social media they are the
other platforms well I felt that not really because they do allow you to
share your content of other platforms on it like for instance on my vero I'm
gonna put youtube links so I do want to still work with YouTube I don't love
YouTube so I just still want to work with a platform and I feel that you can
do that with Instagram Facebook you can share something you shed there blah blah
blah I guess so oh it wants to be s be the reference Oh wonder what everyone is
on I guess I don't know so we'll see which brings me to the
question so my first question which I just asked is what are the intentions of
you or do they want to kill other all other social media platforms not very
sure about that my second question is are they going to do things like insert
stories or like live streams another question I have when you add someone to
say acquaintances can they see that you've put them in the category
acquittance --is or do they see or do they not because friends and does some
people we think they like my close friends or
something and I don't consider them that way so if I add them as acquaintances
and EMA close friends can we both see in what cafe we put them in I don't know I
have to test that to that and I'll let you know but if you already know the
answer to this please leave it in the comments our connections followers now
they've separated it so if you have a Chris friend that is like connected with
you on the platform I feel those are not going to be counted in your follow
account only follower so you don't connect with it that are not people you
know are going to be followers and finally guys let's get in some final
thoughts which is a bit more like in my opinion I feel that you should get it
now while it's free anyway and then if you don't like it then whatever I was
not paid to do anything so disclaimer for me the fact that there's no ads is a
massive one for me and also the fact that is chronological also I'm excited
for the fact that it's really something new you know it's not yet another social
media that where the interests of the corporations are above the interests of
the users I feel the for once they've actually thought that through took all
of the negative feedback of social media and then created something that was
really tailored for users and even though maybe it's not like you know the
best thing ever I'm very glad that at least someone in
the world took a step in the right direction on how social media should
work I feel that people will be more willing to make an effort to make it a

To begin with, let's release the tension.
Yes, this was my best item to unbox.
M4A4 Neo-Noir.
No gloves.. even though I unboxed more than 450 cases.
These were my results in numbers.
452 cases opened, 369 blues, 63 purples, 18 pinks, 2 reds and 0 yellows.
I made a pie chart to illustrate this.
As you can see from my graph, more than 81% of the times I opened blue skin.
But somehow I managed to open 2 reds.
You can see the really thin red line here.
Another red I unboxed was MP7 Bloodsport, by the way, it was battle-scarred and was
worth around 7 euros.
I guess this concludes my luck with the clutch cases pretty well.
Although, I really wanted to unbox early gloves from the clutch case, I didn't get them.
So, is it worth to open CS:GO cases, in my context, clutch cases?
We have to look back in time, as all the csgo cases have the same odds for blues, purples,
pinks, reds and the special items.
Some people have been opening a lot of cases and gathered a lot of info from the CS:GO
case openings.. let's have a closer look at Rock's Case investigation info, as he has
gathered info from almost 52 000 case openings.
Big shoutout to Rock, I will leave link about his public data about case openings in the
video description.
By the way, all the big number investigations actually show almost the same odds.
So, as you can see 79,8% of a chance to get yourself a blue skin.
16,1% to get purple, 3,1% to get pink, 0,6% to get red and 0,2% to get a yellow rare item.
It's actually pretty similar to my data with 450 cases opened.
It means that in my case it was 0,2% of a chance for me to actually unbox gloves.
Pretty unreal.
Let me illustrate this with a graph.
Look at this yellow part, this is the possibility to get a rare item out from the case opening.
Imagine some arrow landing on this part.
Real mission impossible.
Even the red item looks really rare from here.
0.6% chance to get a red out from the case.
I managed to do it twice so I am actually happy about that.. for now.
This info makes the rare items even more valuable in my eyes, it's so damn hard to unbox them.
Yes, I have been lucky once when I unboxed Hydra gloves with my second case, but now
I realized.. how impossible it actually was to get the gloves with the second case, as
I now opened 450 of them and got nothing.
Congratulations to everyone who have managed to get something good out of the clutch case.
I will maybe try again in the future, but right now I am just fascinated with the fact
how hard it actually is to get the gloves.
And if we are talking about StatTrak rare item..
Knives.. as no one has not been lucky enough to unbox StatTrak gloves.. yet.. then it is
1 of 10 chance that your freshly unboxed knife is a StatTrak knife.
Wow.
This chance is very very low.
So is it worth to open clutch cases.
My short answer for you is definitely no, especially when the new case comes out, they
are pretty high priced and you are risking, even more, when you are opening those.
If the price gets lower and more reasonable.. then make your own choice as you now know
what are the odds to actually get something good.
Although, I really love this case, because there are
plenty of cool pairs of gloves that you can unbox and.. the odds for the cases are the
same, so if you are asking me right now.. these gloves what you could get are more expensive
than most of the knives you could unbox, so in my opinion it's one of the best cases
right now to try to unbox.
Because if you get the gloves.. there is a great chance that they are more expensive
than your possible unboxed knife.
But there are always exceptions, you never know.
By the way, one fun fact from the Rock's Case Investigation.. longest spree without a knife
was 2200+ cases.
So, when I opened 450 cases.. glad I stopped because I could go 2000+ cases without a pair
of gloves as well.
You never know how unlucky you could be.
Although Rock's data shows average 425 cases till the rare item.. maybe I should try to
open 10 more cases?

Mental health is important.
Just like some of my human friends have conditions that can be more easily seen on the outside,
others have conditions that affect them mentally.
One of these conditions is Schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is described as a severe and chronic mental disorder that can affect different
parts of a person's life, such as how they think, feel, and make decisions.
Often showing up in their late teens or 20s, individuals with schizophrenia often have
a different interpretation of what they believe to be reality.
Compared to other mental disorders, it is not very common, but it can be a pretty severe
disorder.
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the main symptoms of schizophrenia
fall under one of three categories; positive symptoms, negative symptoms, and cognitive
symptoms.
Positive symptoms include psychotic behaviors not generally seen in people without schizophrenia,
such as hallucinations, delusions, and agitated body movements.
Negative symptoms disrupt the a person's behaviors and emotions, such as reduced speaking, difficulty
starting activities, and less pleasure in everyday life.
Cognitive symptoms include trouble paying attention and using information to make decisions.
So once it's figured out that someone has schizophrenia, what is treatment like?
Well, since it's a chronic condition that doesn't have a cure, it requires lifelong
treatment.
Common treatments include antipsychotic medications and psychotherapy.
Antipsychotic medications are typically a daily pill or liquid, but can sometimes be
injections given once or twice a month.
Psychotherapy is usually a step taken after a patient is put on an effective medication
regime, and teaches people coping skills to help address whatever challenges they still
face with schizophrenia.
And even better treatments might be on the horizon!
According to a recent press release, scientists have unraveled the molecular structure of
risperidone, an often prescribed antipsychotic, docked in its D2 dopamine receptor.
It's allowed scientists to have the chance at understanding how some antipsychotic drugs
bind to their primary molecular target in the human brain.
Their discovery might just pave the way for a new generation of antipsychotic drugs that
can better treat mental illnesses like schizophrenia, with the hope of more desirable outcomes and
fewer side effects.
Currently, common side effects and risks associated with antipsychotics include things like weight
gain and movement disorders, so reducing or getting rid of the chance for these could
be great for the treatment process.
Going back to our friends at the National Institute of Mental Health, they have some
advice for supporting or caring for someone with schizophrenia.
Help them get treatment and encourage them to stick with it.
Maybe even find some support groups if you can.
Remember that their beliefs and hallucinations can feel very real to them, so do your best
to acknowledge their thoughts and feelings with kindness and respect!

Kingdom Come Historically Accurate? - Duration: 4:51.
Kingdom come deliverance is probably the most historically accurate game about rural 15th century Bohemia this year
Although, I am not sure
Now, I don't have a PHD in history, I can't even read
But... Uh, I was there!
I met all of these people in real life, and this game got everything wrong
Quick sidenote: I have seen some Yanks confuse where this game takes place
It's not Germany or the kingdom of the Magyars
The game's setting is Czechoslovakia
And before you say "Czechoslovakia does not exist anymore"
Yeah
It's an historical game, this is why you need me to explain everything
Also, I have a lot of Czech viewers
Or at least I had before I made this video

Let's begin with the game's story

The game have been praised for that, people say it's refreshing
But, it's not historically accurate
If you look up Henry of Skalitz on Wikipedia
It clearly states that he was the chosen one
And had like seven prophecies writte about him
And could totes use magic and shit
The game tells the story of him becoming a knight
But the real guy saved the world from an ancient evil
I think the only thing the story gets correct is that they all spoke British English
So, what about the gameplay?
Apparently they used thousands of hours researching sword combat
What a waste of time, I used a Mace
Or a Bow
When you hit someone with the bow they don't instantly die, like in those three documentaries
And it's hard to aim
In one quest you go into the forest to "capture" rabbits and it's impossible to hit the damn things
Yet the truth is, if I went into a forest with a bow I would catch 0 rabbits
Which makes this super unrealistic
You can then cook the rabbit, back in medieval europe you had to eat food; or you would die
There are no hamburgers or Pizza Huts
Because they didn't actually have those
The only people that did were time travelers
Hollywood has made it look like there were time travelers everywhere
But in reality they were pretty rare
Cooking though is just a hobby, you are really supposed to walk into strangers' houses and eat from their pot
We know this is something that really happened, because I still do this today
Another art mimic real life moment
In one quest you are required to read a book
And if you misread it, an entire village dies
This also happened to me
But that was yesterday, so I've gotten over it
All in all, gameplay got some stuff right.
Finally, the setting
The most historically authentic game before this was return of the king
On XBox 1
But that takes place in Middle Earth, and this is Germany or Hungary
Honestly though, besides the orcs and the weed, they are pretty similar
The clothing is very accurate, this is how all Slavs looked like before the invention of the tracksuit
But I have researched everywhere and I haven't found these clothes
I can't find any proof they made clothing that looked like a texture glitch
They completly messed up the animals
Many medieval stories reference dragons, but there are no dragons
Worst though, is that the Bohemian Coat of Arms has a lion
But there are no wild lions with cute crowns
That's a huge oversight
And obviously the developers can't do anything for us to smell the smell
So for extra immersion I played the game in an outhouse
And whoever was there before me did the designers a huge favor
Final conclusion: They did not use fire arrows
Zero out of one hundred!

consistent in the tournament up too the very end.

However he took on more of a role to only be there for the difficult opponents if needed.
This is why after defeating Hit he looked right at Goku stating that and began to meditate
confirming that he won't be beat.
So why has Jiren acted this way?
Why didn't he just go Full power from the start and blow everyone out of the ring?
It was said to be a mistake that Jiren left Goku in the tournament but what if that isn't
the case and just all part of his plan.
What if Jiren wants to actually see Goku's full potential.
From the moment Goku attained Ultra Instinct Omen Jiren has been intrigued he seemed to
notice that heat and Goku's limits but still even then, he didn't eliminate him.
Is it cause of curiosity to see what drives Goku or something else more selfish.
Jiren has a plan and that is why he is there it isn't just because Universe 11 needs him.
He came for the Super Dragon Balls but what if somehow Goku now is part of this plan and
he has been pushing him to surpass his limits again and again to become stronger.
There is a saying it definitely is lonely at the top and even before Goku awakened Ultra
Instinct again.
Jiren decided to beat him down instead of just going for a finishing blow.
There were plenty of opportunities when Goku was in his base form for Jiren to finish the
job.
Except he didn't.
He dragged it out to the very end hoping for
Goku to awaken his powers again.
and he definitely didn't dissapoint, that's our Goku.
Jiren has never trusted anyone and believes in only absolute power.
Goku wants to fight the strongest opponents which drives him and it is etched into his
core.
It was inevitable these 2 would meet in the final battle but Jiren see's something in
Goku and that is the reason why he is still in there.
Jiren knows that if he keeps pushing Goku he will finally fully attain Ultra Instinct
and perhaps a power that can rival his.
This is something Jiren has dreamed about.
A true fight where he doesn't hold anything back and can finally be tested which in reality
that isn't so different from Goku is it.
I think Jiren see a lot of himself in Goku and in his quest beyond strength we will see
the true reasons to why Jiren kept Goku in the tournament.
Why he decided to not eliminate him, and why Jiren was supposed to win all along.
Since Dragon Ball Super is ending it is fitting that we have 2 fighters at the absolute best
fighting to protect their Universe.
Although Jiren and Goku initially have the same motive, to fight the strongest.
Jiren wants one last test perhaps to see if he is worthy and no one can test him like
Goku.
So regardless of who wins maybe the "Work of the Gods Ends here".
Although there is no mistaking it that Jiren has been hoping for this moment.
Is his absolute power enough?

Everybody always asks when I -- they all think Idol was kind of the first time I started wanting
to be a singer, which is not true.
It was actually, I was in junior high, and it was after my first solo I ever performed.
Puberty sucks for everyone, junior high sucks, I had like acne, braces, glasses, all of the
things going on, and I was kinda the kid that didn't really stand out in any way -- not
in a bad way.
Just, I was a very normal, average kid, and I was good at sports, I wasn't great.
I was involved in things.
I was 13 when I started singing and I started performing and really, didn't know I could
really sing well before that, and the first time I ever performed a solo in front of people,
I picked "Vision of Love," good God, like for your first song, it's like the hardest
song ever.
And, I messed up the lyrics, but I wrote new ones in the moment.
And literally the amount of applause that happened at the end, I was like, well this is cool.
Like it was the first time that I kinda felt confident.
This old man comes up to me, I mean probably in his 80s, and literally says, 'that was so amazing,
you're going to do this for the rest of your life.'
I kinda was just taken aback, because I'd never received that kind of compliment like that
in my life, at that point.
And I don't even think I said thank you.
He kind of walked away and then I was asking everyone -- this is a true story -- I was
asking everyone, whose grandpa that was.
No one knew him.
From that moment, that's all I focused on, was singing.
Whether it was getting a scholarship for college cause I definitely couldn't afford college,
or trying out for Idol, like all of it was from that one singular moment.

I don't really talk about it a lot, but I do find myself like internally thinking of
that one moment, especially being on The Voice now and seeing all these people that, I've
been in their shoes.
It's a very hard stage to be rejected in front of America, you know, that chance that that
might happen, it's a hard stage, and I find myself turning around and not only thinking
about me whenever I first started out in a similar competition, it was more, what would
have happened if I wouldn't have had that happened if I wouldn't have you know, had
that happen afterwards?
If somebody wouldn't have instilled that confidence at such a young age, in a pivotal moment for
me.
We have four children, and it's so important that they find, even if it's not going to
be their vocation, even if it's not going to be what they do for the rest of their life,
just finding things that instill that kind of confidence that has, you know, they're validated
for their hard work, they're validated for their talent.
To this day, it was no one's grandpa.
I have no idea who he was.
No one knew who he was.
It might be borderline creepy because like, what was an old man doing there, or like,
was he real?
I don't believe in stuff like that generally, because I'm already this realm, has a lot of crap
going on that we need to worry about, so I'm not really into all that stuff.
And we all have these moments in our life that are so pivotal and seem so mundane in
the moment, but are such a big thing that really was that fork in the road that sent
you on a completely different path.

Markelle Fultz was the #1 pick in this year's draft and was shut down 4 games into the season
for shots like this.
There was this whole debacle between the 76ers the Fultz's agent when the Agent said there
was a shoulder injury and mixed up whether fluid was being drained in or out.
The 76ers apparently didn't know about that and there was that whole mess which I've
broken down in other videos.
Now the 76ers have stated that they believe Markelle Fultz's shooting hitch is "strictly
mental".
I had said that before that the injury may have not been the reason why he's shooting
this bad and that it might have been a cover-up.
All that aside, the truth of the matter is the Markelle's shot is this because he has
some mental block.
Fultz is scared.
He was so unconfident in his already good jumpshot that he changed his pure college
shooting stroke to a sore sight for eyes that makes everyone question why he was the #1
pick.
I mean seriously, this is the best you could come up with?
But there's no question about why these cases are dope with great sports designs so
check out athletic cases in the description.
I don't think they are going to have a case for Markelle Fultz horrible shot anytime soon.
Fultz supposedly worked with his trainer Keith Williams who tinkered his shots, but now reports
are coming out that that is all fake and the hitch developed over time.
But if you don't tinker with the shot, there's no way that this becomes THIS.
Unless you already have a shot like this.

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of all the secrecy.
We don't know what's going on with Fultz and he's not addressing the media.
I know he's working on his shot, but he's ruining his own career.
Changing his shot to cause a hitch shows his disbelief in his own abilities.
Not addressing the media only makes it worse because it makes it seem like he has something
to hide.
The flip flopping back and forth between different stories just makes the 76ers seem like they
don't know what they are doing.
There's a reason why Fultz was picked number 1, so why change what made you so great.
Even Fultz has posted a month ago on twitter that "You really can't trust NO ONE!!"
Does that mean he can't trust his coaches, he can't trust the 76ers, he can't trust
his teammates.
I don't know what that means but that just adds to the mess of the situation this is.
It's a combination of Fultz and the 76ers that are ruining his career.
It's sad because Fultz has so much potential.
So with all this, Markelle Fultz is ruining his own career.

Education is the only means by which we can eliminate prejudice and racism.
And in their place build compassion,
tolerance, friendship and the belief in the unconditional dignity of all man.
We have historically been eliminated from the decision-making processes that directly affect our lives.
We find ourselves without adequate advocacy.
Being a '60s student myself, you kind of think that everything really got started in the '60s, all of the
change and agitation and nothing could be further from the truth.
I first became aware of Herman when I was doing the project,
But as I was working with him that's also when
I quickly realized that we didn't have as much material on African-American history,
particularly revolving around students.
What's missing? What gaps do we need to fill?
Like Mabel Byrd, she was by herself. She was probably the only black person in Eugene. She worked
as a maid in one of the professor's houses and went to class.
With Robert Robinson and Charles Williams,
they were the first to African-American athletes at the University of Oregon in 1926.
The dormitories began to be integrated because of the white football players who were teammates
of Robinson and Williams. They wrote a petition and eventually it was done at Friendly Hall.
They built a separate apartment, with a separate entrance. But once they got into their apartment,
they had access to the entire building where the other football players lived.
They all had to overcome barriers to get an education at the University of Oregon.
The kind of minority communities we have in Oregon, tend to be experiencing a kind of social and economic death
that I think can be altered by inviting more and assisting more with students getting through college.
Throughout that period there was a lot of hostility on campus, because,
if you look back at the '60s, people were getting killed.
I remember walking across campus,
people were screaming that the president had been shot. So, I ran to the dorm and talked
to some other students and finally, we learned that our president had been killed.
And then, later on, Malcolm X was killed.
Other civil rights leaders down south were getting killed.
Bobby Kennedy was killed. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed.
Once again, our nation has been plunged into mourning
as a result of an assassin striking down a truly great leader.
Black history is not a black club. It's history.
Like Mabel Byrd, she worked with W.E. B. De Bois
who was the most prominent civil rights figure in the '20s and '30s
and up through the '40s. She was his right-hand person.
Once you read her story, you have to be inspired.
We must all do our part to ensure that we create the beloved community that Dr. King envisioned.
The one single factor that causes social change is people being
determined that they are going to make it happen and not get discouraged. Not get off
the track. Even when things don't seem to be going well, you got to stay with it.
