Youtube daily is it Mar 5 2018

hi guys so today I'm going to talk to you about summer fitness

it's probably unusual hearing that phrase especially with the weather being

as cold as it is and being as far away from as it is from actual summer but if

you think about it for a second how long does it take you to get in shape

sometimes it takes you a couple of months sometimes it takes you a couple

of years depending on just how deconditioned and out of shape you

actually are but it usually doesn't take just a couple of weeks and even if it

you're only losing wanting to lose you know half a stone or a stone and it

takes your body longer than you might realize to start to metabolize that fat

so if you only give yourself four weeks to get in shape for summer then you

might only in find that you can lose a couple of pounds in that four weeks

because you've not prepped and got your body ready to actually lose the weight

and I know about all the crash diets and the shake programs where they all

promise to make you lose half a stone in a couple of weeks but what tends to

happen in those systems is that you actually lose mostly water and muscle

and yeah you'll lose weight on the scales but you won't really lose that much fat

and what actually happens in a lot of those processes is that you actually

start to reduce your metabolic activity so you you burn less calories which

makes it harder to lose weight in the future and going forward because if you

crash diet the only thing that happens is your body lowers its metabolic rate

so that you actually burn less energy so kind of there's less energy coming in so

we'll reduce our output so that we don't burn as much so we've got more to keep

and so crash dieting only tends to work in the short term but if you give

yourself ample time to start to lose weight get

fitter be healthier all that type of stuff and build some real habits into

your body like going to the gym or going to exercise classes or going to see your

trainer on a regular basis and watching what you're eating so that your you

start to put healthier foods into your body on a regular basis and catering to

your hydration so that you're getting enough water on a regular basis then all of

these things start to add up and start to repay you so you'll start to look

fitter you'll start to feel healthier you'll start to have more energy and as

all of those things go up your ability to go to the gym more goes up your

desire to go to the gym and more goes up but it all starts by giving yourself

enough time to actually get yourself in shape so even though we are several

months away from summer now is the time to start thinking about getting in shape

for summer not in two or three months you start then you want to be taking

action now and that might be just going to one exercise class a week to build

your body up and and get build up your confidence that you can handle

the exercises or getting yourself out well it's icy but getting

yourself walking or going on a treadmill and doing some bodyweight squats at home

or some some bodyweight exercises at home keeping an eye on your water intake

now and planning to or not planning but actually getting in a habit of drinking

more water and most people don't even after being told over and over again

most people don't get enough water through their systems they continuously

underestimate the value of keeping themselves hydrated so as an example of this

most people aren't aware that it's actually really hard for your body to

metabolize breakdown and utilize fat if you're dehydrated so one of the things

that you could do right now today is start drinking more water and increase

your hydration which is going to make you stronger because you need water to

make your muscles work it's gonna release more fatty acid into your body

so you can burn it off so you're gonna burn that energy and lose the weight

it's gonna make your organs work better it's going to bring your brain work more

effectively so you'll be able to think faster and one of the constants that I

tend to hear from people is that oh I don't have enough energy I don't have

enough time well you increase your water intake and hydrate your body properly

and you'll find the you can complete tasks quicker so generally you have more

time and when you complete those tasks you don't feel as drained from doing

them so you have more energy but it starts now and you could wait a week or

four weeks but how many weeks are you going to put off getting yourself in

shape for summer just imagine the last time that you got

in shape for summer or didn't and how you felt when you got to the summer

season and you were at the pool in your swimwear and did you feel confident if

you did great but I'd be willing to bet that you were doing something to get

yourself feeling more confident if you didn't feel confident let me ask you

this how much time did you give yourself to get in shape or maybe you didn't do

anything to get yourself in shape you just rocked up on holiday stripped off

your clothes gotten your swimwear and went oh I forgot to do anything to to

get myself in shape so if the situation I've just described sounds like you and

you want this year to be different know that it's not too late now

especially if you take action straight away to start getting yourself in

amazing shape for this summer all you have to do is take a few positive steps

drink more water go and exercise get a trainer it's it's

not a weakness to understand that you need help and you need support so if you

need help and you need support then reach out to somebody the masters

personal training door is always open to people who want to help sorry who want

help so just drop us an email and we'll help you get in shape for summer

Ehsan Sehgal Prose Poem - It Is You; I Worship - Duration: 1:11.

A prose poem, It Is You; I Worship, by Ehsan Sehgal

O' God I seek Your refuge,

From the Evils O' God

I start with Your name The utmost Merciful

The utmost Gracious King of the Kings

Lord of the universes I am in Your command

O' Empathic; Forgiver The only Authority and Judge

Of the last Judgement Day It is You; I worship

For a straight path Since I am in a wrong way

Show me The virtuous way of those

Upon whom You awarded And granted courtesy

And benevolence, But not of those, who became

Under Your anger and punished I strongly believe that

Indeed, You regard whom You wish You embarrass whom You will.

Tech N9ne "Planet" Album Review - IS IT GOOD? - Duration: 8:21.

So Tech N9ne just released his newest album, and the 20th in his discography, Planet.

So after all these releases and after so much time in the rap game, does he still have what

it takes to make a great project?

Today I'll be answering that question, so guys, this is CDTVProductions, and let's

talk about this album.

(Intro: Tech N9ne "Bad JuJu" feat.

King ISO)

So I first heard Strange Reign yesterday, I didn't listen to it out when it came out

and I wanted to hear it before listening to this album, and Tech just didn't sound hugely

inspired on it.

It just hit me as majorly mediocre.

Not to mention, I know it was a collabos album, but there was a severe lack of Tech N9ne on

it.

And this album (drum roll please).... is a massive relief as it shows me that Tech N9ne

after all these years can still put out a brilliant project.

I don't think I've enjoyed a Tech N9ne album this much since Special Effects.

As soon as I finished the very first track, Habanero, I got really excited because it's

the first time I've heard Tech that motivated in a while.

And he pretty much carries this energy throughout the entire album.

His flows are stellar on every single track, his rhyming is impressive as ever, and pretty

much every track has a concept which I appreciate.

None of them to me feel like they're talking about nothing.

The concepts is something Tech usually does, but on his last few albums the concepts or

stories behind the tracks seemed less and less significant and meaningful.

Here they seem a lot more personal and worthwhile.

You've got tracks like Don't Nobody Want None, where Tech raps over an instrumental

that samples a song from the 80's which is fitting as it's dedicated to dance crews

and DJ's.

You've got Comfortable, which is one of my favorite songs on the album, with Tech

telling us which radio stations he likes to be interviewed by, and also telling us the

ones he doesn't like so much, specifically naming Hot 97 after they caused a bit of a

rift between him and ICP after they interviewed Tech.

(Clip: Tech N9ne "Comfortable").

This is also touched on more on the song My Fault, which also has a very good second verse

where Tech detailed a time where he played his song Areola live, and he actually got

flashed by a young girl in the audience, and this show was being filmed.

The mother of that child saw the footage and tried to file CP charges against Tech, even

though there was no way that Tech could have known the child was underage.

So now, he no longer risks performing Areola live, he just doesn't do it any more.

There's just so many stories on here, and i haven't learned this much about Tech from

an album in a while.

It's a very substantive project.

Not to mention, you have some of his most musically interesting and beautiful music

on here.

The perfect example of this is the song Brightfall.

The variety of instruments used on here create this standout track, with this very powerful

choir style hook.

On top of that it also has a beat switch that still manages to keep up the intensity of

the song.

I also particularly enjoyed the tracks that Tech referred to as the Wind Down Section,

these were the 4 tracks at the end of the album.

Very fittingly named.

All these songs have this really kinda relaxed feeling to them, and it's a good way to

close out the album, its kinda letting you down after all the craziness and wildness

that's throughout the rest of the album.

My only complaint there is whilst the final track We Won't Go Quietly is good, to me

it sounds very similar to a song Tech has already made called Believe, which was found

on his Something Else album.

It was a good closer to the album, and obviously its very suitable for the concept of this

album, you know, Peace Youth Unit Neutralising Earth which is what his planet name, Planet

PYUNE, stands for, but I felt it wasn't fantastic because I feel like I've heard

it before.

And you know what, while I'm talking about complaints, I might as well talk about some

other issues this album has, because as with every single album in the world, its not perfect.

One thing that bugged me was that there are quite a few songs on here that just have one,

just one, problem or bad musical choice that just drags the songs down as a whole and makes

them so much harder to listen to.

Like during the hook of Sho Nuff, why is that piano there?

I really want to like the hook on that song, but the piano just sounds wrong and creates

this uneasy feeling which it doesn't sound like the song was going for, it's quite

an upbeat song, feel good song.

And the way that piano just shifts up a key, it does not sound right.

(Clip: Tech N9ne "Sho Nuff").

Then there's Not A Damn Thing, where it starts off as this uplifting piano based track,

but then in the verses it switches up to this hyped up, guitar based beat and the change

is too jarring in my opinion.

I much preferred the piano based segments of that song.

There's also that obnoxious bleeping sound on the track Fresh Out!, that makes it unlistenable

for me.

And while most of the features on here are fantastic, you know you've got King ISO

ripping up his verse on Bad JuJu, Krizz Kaliko with his amazing hook on Red Byers, Snow tha

Product killing it on How I'm Feelin', all these great features, there's one feature

that was really bad, and that was Y2 on No Reason (The Mosh Pit Song).

His hook on that thing is hilarious, and it's not supposed to be.

(Clip: Tech N9ne "No Reason (The Mosh Pit Song) feat.

Y2).

It's the worst part of the song, and I don't understand it because he actually has a good

verse later on in the same track.

I do have some complaints, and ideally I would remove a few tracks, but saying that, this

still was Tech's most solid album in the last few years.

He really sounds like he was trying with this one, each song has a bunch of layers, and

it's only on certain tracks that one of those layers doesn't work.

It is a shame when that happens, because it stopped me from really enjoying tracks like

Sho Nuff, but it doesn't happen too often.

I think it would be cool if he utilized the Planet concept more, but the whole album works

just fine being loosely based around this concept.

I'm gonna give Planet by Tech N9ne an 8.8/10.

I slightly lost my interest in his music after Dominion and Strange Reign, but I am back

in my Tech N9ne zone after this project.

A great return to form here.

GAN 356 AIR SM Worth It? Should you buy it? [GAN356 Air SM Review] | Lightake - Duration: 3:59.

Hey guys it's me CriticalCubing.

Today we will take a look at another Gan puzzle, the Air SM.

The AIR SM has been out on the market for quite some time and many world class cubers

are also using it as their main.

In an unofficial poll, GAN AIR SM came out to be the most popular cube.

Today we shall see how good the Air SM really is and how far has the cube been hyped.

The Gan Air SM is a 56mm puzzle which weighs roughly 76g and costs the highest among flagship

cubes coming at 50$.

The cube comes with full bright oracle sticker shades which are plesant to look at and contrast

well.

Some changes have been made to the new SM from the previous Gan Air UM, the major change

being the new honeycomb design on the pieces.

The honeycomb design as the name suggests has a pattern reminiscent to a honeycomb which

allows lube to spread evenly which gives the cube a smooth feel and also longer life span

to the lube on tha tracks.

The difference in feel is easily felt when you turn the cube.

The AIR SM is the smoothest Gan cube till now, and is quiet, fast, stable and doesn't

deform easily and maintains the cubic shape with ease.

The cube also comes preloaded with magnets and I don't know what strength of magnets

they used, but the magnetic click is apparent when you're turing a bit slower, but not noticeable

when you start turning faster.

My problem with magnets comes mainly during LSE where I find the M slices lacking in fluidity

due to the magnets overpowering the turning.

Otherwise the strenght of the magnets doesn't interfere with speedcubing.

Corner cutting is on par with other flagship cubes on the market and the cube can cut over

line to line for normal corner cutting and line to line for reverse corner cutting as

well.

The corner also uses squared off corner design which makes corner twisting a thing of the

past.

Popping is non-existant and occurance of locking or catch isn't frquent thanks to the magnets

pulling the layers together and maintaining the cubic shape.

The cube is also very stable all thanks to magnets and overall as far as speedcubes goes,

this is one of the best cube I have tried till now and definitely the best Gan cube

till date.

Excellent job done by the engineers there at Gan.

If you take a look at my previous Gan Air UM review video, I mention the UM not being

anything revolutionary.

However my opinion has changed with the new Air SM since there have been some innovative

and revolutionary changes done to the cube.

The SM is better than UM in all the categories that you can compare these two, and if you're

someone who likes using Gan cubes, you should definitely buy the Gan Air SM.

One critique of the SM would be the pricing model.

SM costs 50$, and there are many cubers who wouldn't want to shell out 50$ for a Rubik's

cube.

This makes SM sort of in a league of it's own pricing concerned.

However fret not.

As far as performance goes, the GTS2M is a great magnetic cube and similar in performance

as the SM.

There are stark differences between the GTS2M and the SM mainly being the feel and turning

of the cube, however if you're deciding on a main and don't want to shell out the money

for SM, I'd definitely suggest the GTS2M.

I'm personally going to be using my non magnetic GTS2 as my main, and keep SM as my backup

main since my turning style fits the GTS2 more than the SM.

Also before you buy the SM, you can try out the SM at a comp and see if you like it or

not, before making the decsion to invest in it.

The SM is a great cube and the best GAN cube yet.

If you have the money to spend on this cube, you should just do it.

You won't go wrong with your purchase.

If you want to buy this cube for cheap, check out lightake.com.

Link is in the description.

That's it for this review video.

Thank you to lightake for sending this cube to me, and if you wish to buy the cube for

cheap, don't forget to check out lightake.com.

Thank you for watching and I'll see you next time.

Take care guys, and bye.

Is Bitcoin Mining Still Profitable in 2018? | What is PoW? - Duration: 5:18.

Hello to everyone

Is mining about to over?

And why is mining gets harder?

Also, I will talk about PoW -proof of work-

I will be simple and easy for everyone.

You can ask me anything in the comment section.

please subscribe and like the video

let's start!

Bitcoin is a software program.

and uses Blockchain technology.

Blockchain is a decentralized network.

In Bitcoin mining,

miners solves blocks and adds transactions on it.

It is a very simple definition.

You can check out the new blocks on blockchain.com

I click one of them

Block reward is 12.5 BTC

These are the transactions that are added.

Miners are connected with each other.

A new block is mined every 10 minutes.

With time, new miners are involved in the system,

that makes harder to solve a block for the miner.

All of them depends on SHA-256 algorithm.

If you want to mine Bitcoins, your computer's CPU probably will not be enough.

You will need to buy an ASIC.

However, these are very expensive devices,

and it uses too much electricity.

If you get profit from mining, please leave a comment.

Bitcoin is designed to have a maximum supply of 21 million

Almost 17 million of Bitcoin is on circulation.

Mining is very costly and difficult.

In summary,

Miners tries to solve new blocks on Blockchain.

They are rewarded if they succeed.

Miners also receive the transfer fees.

If all Bitcoins are mined, the mining devices will only receive the transfer fees.

The name of this algorithm is PoW. (Proof of Work)

I will also talk about PoS in future videos.

I hope you do not get confused.

In fact this algorithm is the basis of Bitcoin and many other altcoins.

Please share the video.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Goodbye

This white thing to eat is ....neither is it salt nor sugar | खाने की ये सफेद चीज़ है ... - Duration: 5:23.

This white thing to eat is poison ... neither is it salt nor sugar

Sodium glutamate or monosodium glutamate is now a very common additive found in packets

or canned mines.

Apart from this, it is used in restaurants to increase the food test.

These white crystal powders look like pudhartha sugar and salt.

It is also called azimomoto, it is used very much in Chinese food.

Sodium glutamate is also used in different types of catches, sauces, chips.

All these things are used like sodium glutamate as a kind of spice.

Children are mostly fond of eating these things, but the concern is that eating things with

sodium glutamate have a bad effect on people's health.

In many researches this has proved that obesity is increasing due to inadequacy in children

and sodium glutamate due to migraines in the elderly.

Let's know about the dangerous side effects associated with it.

It can be a disadvantage A research claims that 2 million tons of sodium glutamate use

around the world.

More use of it causes migraine, nervousness, hormonal

changes, weakness, dizziness, chest pain, and more.

Due to its consumption we become addicted to sodium glutamate, we eat anything but our

hunger does not calm down until the body gets sodium glutamate once again.

It has the same effect in the brain as the brain gets accustomed after drugs.

Urine related problems Sodium glutamate intake also results in urinary problems in our body,

which leads to pain in the bladder repeatedly.

Sodium glutamate is not less than any poison for people who are suffering from blood poisoning,

like BP, which may be BP High or Low due to its consumption.

Apart from this, there is also a risk of heart related diseases.

Do not forget that pregnant women should be away from sodium glutamate because they can

be affected by mental and physical development.

Sodium glutamate also affects the eyes on the eyes.

With more intake than this, the eyesight becomes somewhat diminished.

Other disadvantages Sodium glutamate intake also affects the face.

Swelling begins to occur on the face with this intake and there is a problem of dehydration

in the body.

Sometimes the mouth starts drying up

الفكيرة 233 | ما هو الميزو أو الميسو What is Miso - Duration: 3:53.

Welcome to Fokaira channel

this is a beginning of a series of videos

explaining the products I use in the recipes

I make for the channel

which usually people don't know

or don't know where to get from, never heard of it before

I will try to explain each product and why I use it

and why it is healthy

Today I will talk about the miso

before I know the miso

the miso I knew was Samir Ghanem

and the TV series Miso's tale

but

When I started following the macrobiotic

or got to know it I got to know about the miso

so this miso is

fermented soybeans

it exists in Japan

since before Christ

It was made at homes at the beginning

then was made in factories and now

it is imported to the whole world

Miso has many benefits

for the human's health

It is made by fermenting the soybeans

and they add to it huge amount of salt

someone may say "salt" how come it is not healthy

but after fermenting they add to it

barley or rice or wheat

depending on each type of the miso

There is white miso, yellow, red, black

it varies according to what is added to the fermented soybeans

This what makes

difference between the miso types

The result is a paste called

miso paste which we use in the recipes

which I will leave in the description box

wither it is the miso soup or other recipes

where I used the miso

I said they they add huge amount of salt to it

so someone may say this is not healthy

but when they made experiments

to compare between salt and the miso

They found that salt affects the blood pressure

but the miso doesn't affect the blood pressure at all

so it is healthy

miso has beneficial bacteria needed by the body

it improves the digestion

It has antioxidants

has big amount of proteins and fibers

It has vitamin B, K, E

one important thing is that when we buy the miso

we must make sure it is GMO free

This is the miso

I wonder if you use the miso like I do or not

I personally use it when I have cold

and I want to make soup it has to bemiso soup

and I add it to recipes as I said

I will links in the DB

I would like to know from you

which products you want me to talk about

which you may have watched on the channel

and you don't know why it is healthy

so let me know in the comments

and if someone is using the miso in recipes

you can go to Theresa Khalil group

and share your experiences

see you in a coming video

Frances McDormand Loses Her Oscar, But Is Reunited with It!

Frances McDormand had a little bit of a scare after she misplaced her Oscar at the Governors Ball on Sunday night (March 4) in Hollywood.

The Best Actress winner reportedly was spotted "crying emotionally" outside the after party following a search for the missing Oscar.

Frances thankfully misplaced the trophy after it had already been engraved with her name as security eventually found it and she was reunited with the award.

"Fran and Oscar are happily reunited and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together," a rep for the actress told USA Today.

as it is - A Grand Canyon VR Documentary - Duration: 17:06.

Anything that lies in this Canyon, the Grand Canyon, is all sacred even the water.

Water is life and so water made that life to make that Canyon.

The natural beauty of it right now is still alive. It's still there and that's

where our prayers are going.

The Grand Canyon is among the Earth's premier natural wonders and home to one

of America's most beloved national parks. The Canyon cuts a broad track across

northern Arizona. A mile deep, over 18 miles wide, and 277 miles long, it has

fascinated every human to lay eyes on it for thousands of years.

The national park now serves over six million visitors annually, but each year

only twenty thousand will see it from the bottom up.

A rafting expedition through the Grand Canyon is, for many, a life-changing experience.

It's a journey into vast wilderness, a descent into deep geologic time.

Exposed rocks formed hundreds of millions of years ago pass by as you slip further into the wild

A river trip through Grand Canyon is one of the only places where

you can go and be away from the hubbub of computers and cell phones.

I think spending time rafting on the Colorado River is a great way to connect with

water in a very special and unique way.

Without a motor, a river trip through the Grand Canyon can take as long as three weeks

[yelling, laughing, screaming]

Each day of the trip, the Colorado River throws a variety of the monstrous rapids at you.

"Suck rubber!"

"Here comes another one! Suck rubber!"

Upon his visit to the Grand Canyon in 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt said

"Leave it as it is,

you cannot improve on it.

The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it."

We have marred the Grand Canyon over the last 100 years.

We have not left it as it is.

We made the Grand Canyon a national park in order to protect it, but now a radical

new idea for development threatens the very heart of the canyon.

Developers based in Scottsdale Arizona want to construct a major new tourist attraction

on the eastern rim of the canyon, down into an area known simply as

The Confluence.

"The Confluence is the area in the Grand Canyon where a Little Colorado River

meets the greater Colorado River in the Canyon.

In this space, where the rivers meet, our stories say this is where life began.

This is the emergence place."

"Sometimes I'll be really feeling bad, and I'll go out there sat in the hill and pray.

The Confluence is where people meet to pray, to come together and pray as a family.

I oppose the Escalade bill because we hold that place as a sacred place.

We do our offering there for the sacred sites.

The development, known as the Escalade proposal,

outlines a resort complex centered around a gondola system

that would take crowds of visitors all the way from the rim to the river.

"Grand Canyon Escalade would include five-star motels, a raised riverwalk, an

amphitheater, a restaurant, and a tram, a gondola system going all the way down

into the Grand Canyon at our most sacred area."

Although 20,000 rafters visit the Grand Canyon each year, very few will actually

set foot at The Confluence. The developers of the Escalade proposal plan

to bring 10,000 people a day to this secluded area

The land on the rim of the canyon above the confluence isn't part of the national park.

It's the western edge of the Navajo Reservation.

The developers went to the Navajo Nation Council to get the project

started but the Navajo are not the only

indigenous people with ties to The Confluence.

The Hopi and Zuni tribes also find The Confluence culturally significant.

When somebody passes on, their soul will return back to where The Confluence is at.

In Hopi, they call it Sipapu. That's where they say that your soul will go back to go

back into Mother Earth. If you've never seen a sacred site or a prayer site you

walk right by it or you might even step on it or walk over on top of it.

We don't want those things destroyed. We don't want them disturbed.

"My first thought was that it was a joke.

A Laugh. And then my second thought is: is this a joke?

Angry. And then: this has to be a joke. Sadness. Just great sadness.

And I said: this is a joke. I'm gonna fight it."

In response to the Escalade proposal some of the Navajo families formed a

grassroots organization called Save The Confluence.

Save The Confluence gathered thousands of signatures on a petition against the Escalade proposal

Other communities have rallied behind save the confluence to protect the Grand Canyon,

including the Hopi, Zuni, and Havasupai tribal councils

They are supported by more allies like Grand Canyon National Park, The Sierra Club,

American Rivers, Grand Canyon Trust, and the Grand Canyon River Guides Association,

who are also working to protect and preserve the Canyon.

"I think that the Escalade project would very much alter the place. In ways, it has

already been altered through Glen Canyon Dam, and so, we really want to continue to

find ways to partner with the Native American tribes that call Grand Canyon sacred.

Keeping the river and that experience wilderness is really

important for future people getting to have that opportunity to really

experience The Canyon as it is

"What are the chances that the Grand Canyon Escalade project will be placed

on the side of Grand Canyon?"

"Very real. It's not gone away." "Really?" "Yeah. What I mean, the current Navajo Nation position and

the president is great it's a temporary relief but as we speak the developers

are forming their partnership. They're out searching for the next venue. They're

at every Navajo Nation Council meeting lobbying all of the leadership.

Everybody has to stay vigilant on this topic we are working directly with the tribe for

cultural and economic development that's sensitive, long-term sustainable and

that we can help with that Grand Canyon being the neighbor to the Navajo Nation.

The Escalade proposal was introduced right as the Bennet freeze was lifted.

The Bennet freeze was a development ban imposed by the United States federal

government on 1.6 million acres of land in the western region of the Navajo Reservation.

It lasted over 40 years and contributed to extreme poverty in the area.

"I've been away from my homeland almost 26 years.

Coming home, things hasn't really changed yet. Meaning that opportunity for jobs

there's areas here are novel unemployment's as as high as 60%.

Where I live, down in Nahata Dziil, I call it, 80% joblessness. Our people need money.

They need. They need jobs.

It's not that I'm supporting it.

What I support is economic development on Navajo.

"The revenue that they're willing to give to the Navajo Nation would be at 8% of gross revenue.

That's for the entire Navajo Nation. 110 chapters over 350,000 members of the Navajo Nation

8%. That's like asking your whole household to share eight pennies."

"How do you feel about us coming in with a project? How is it gonna effect you?

Nobody came to me. Is it okay with you? Nobody came to me.

They just went right over that permanent holder. Land user.

On October 31st 2017, the Navajo Nation Council held a special session

to determine the fate of the Grand Canyon Escalade proposal.

"I am here today to express my concerns and why we are trying to destroy

the sacred Mother Earth and the sacred Grand Canyon

that was put here by Mother Nature millions of years ago.

Why are we doing that?

People that are trying to develop this area is not good.

They should listen more to their traditional people.

I'd like to say to the Council here, that these preceedings here is illegal.

Because you have not consulted with the water people.

You have not consulted with the wind people.

You have not consulted with the rock people.

And all of these natural ways of life have never been consulted.

So, this is an illegal meeting that it's going to take place. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

You know, what is the future of our generation here, you know,

our future generation will have nothing and they will this only have scars to look at"

"By a vote of 2 in favor, 16 opposed, the amendment fails."

"The Navajo Nation Council said No Escalade!"

[screams, celebratory laughter]

"Saving the Confluence!" "No More Escalade!" "We get to sleep now!"

"I was happy with it and I was a good feeling to come back home and tell my

people that happened. I just want that natural beauty to stay there for our

future generation to say okay my grandparents had fought for this place

we just need to keep it the way it is. That's all I want is for people to leave it alone and respect that place."

The Grand Canyon still faces many threats.

A 20-year ban on uranium mining is now under review and might be lifted.

Proposed residential development in the Tusayan region near the South Rim

threatens groundwater supplies.

"The seeps and springs

they'll all be impacted along this rim by development and taking any water

ground water out of the aquifers below here.

This is an unnecessary development

that's really promoted by a few wealthy developers who want to have Grand Canyon

in their portfolio and they want to be the ones that yeah we own part of the

Grand Canyon and I think it's our place."

The fight against the Escalade proposal isn't over.

Developers could resurrect parts of the plan and negotiate a new deal for development

in the Grand Canyon

"We need to keep working. There's still people, there's still developers wanting

to come in to take advantage of that area.

It's become more than just a family

everybody on the Navajo Nation, the other grassroots groups

that revere the water, that want to stop fracking, that want to stop uranium mining,

uranium transportation.

That's our whole family now.

The petition signers all over the world,

I just wanna express our humble thank you, Ahéhee'.

Stick with us.

We still need all the support in order to protect and preserve it

for everybody."

Holi Festival - Is it safe for women? | My personal experience - Duration: 4:50.

Men who have been taking advantage of women - KNOCK IT OFF.

Seriously, stop taking advantage of women

and making us, women, not feeling safe!

IT'S ENOUGH. IT'S REALLY ENOUGH.

I'M SICK OF IT.

oh wow.

that man touched my breast

I - I was MAD.

I was not happy with that

I was emotional, and my heart was beating fast

wow.

This is not Holi that I imagined it to be

(music playing)

(a hostel owner was gesturing: "stay together!")

My heart is beating fast now.

so, maybe many of you from around the world

about Holi, or festival of colors

(gesturing throwing colors in the air)

I've seen many people have posted

vlogs, films and pictures.

It looked amazing, and I want the same experience

but first, let me explain why Holi was created

To honor, respect (and celebrate) the love between

for them (images shown)

It is also to celebrate how good triumphed evil

it also has more reasons

If I'm wrong, please do tell me

and leave a comment down below

anyways,

I've imagined Holi as a happy, enjoyable one

having a great time and throwing colors in the air

but I was wrong.

(men were laughing in the background)

(men continued to laugh)

(@nomadicdeaf behind go pro: "what happen?")

He touched my breast.

(@nomadicdeaf behind go pro: "seriously??")

yes, he touched my breast.

when that guy touched my breast, I felt scared.

emotional

and furious

I really wanted to punch him

I really wanted to!

but...I knew I couldn't because

If I punched him,

probably more men would come up to me,

and maybe they'd try to hurt me

or make the problem much worse.

As I kept on walking, several men came up to me

I felt scared and

tried to block and push them

and crossed my arms against my chest

I tried to hide my chest so they wouldn't touch me again

It was - it was HARD.

I couldn't enjoy it

and have fun

rather I was alert for these men, for myself,

and my friend, Lilo (@deafinitelywithoutbarriers)

- I saw one guy tried to grab Lilo's breast.

I stopped him

and gestured him "BACK OFF!"

I told him to BACK OFF. DON'T TOUCH HER.

DO NOT TOUCH HER.

I was really, really mad.

It was not what I imagined.

I was also actually afraid of young (preteen) boys

about the age of 13,

um - 14,

even, 12.

It is because maybe older peers taught kids,

and the kids looked up to them

and want the same experienced and like it

so they've learned that they can do that to females

grab their breasts and assault them - nah uh.

(music playing)

From a hostel group, I've seen one girl

who is from another country,

she was really crying, and it broke my heart

it was heartbreaking for me to see other women

were frighten and hiding their chest

and other women was cringing and holding her arms on her chest

and she was scared

another girl was upset and hiding her chest

(music playing)

What I've noticed at the Holi festival is that

there were not many local Indian females there.

I was surprised when I noticed that

There were many (female) foreigners

from around the world

that made me realized that it was serious.

It is not really good for women.

Because...

men think it is okay to touch women

Touching women (without consent) is not okay!

It is not okay!

I know it is not all Indian boys.

I know there are many who doesn't like that

they want we, women, to be safe and careful

and to enjoy it

Honestly, I feel conflicted.

I was battling against myself but

next year, I do hope to go again.

uh - yeah.

with more people, in a group

but...

I know I may experienced sexual assault again

It is challenging, it sucks.

Unfortunately, we women have to be careful

when we go to Holi festival

Um, I want all of us women to be happy

and enjoyed the festival while being careful

so, that's my personal feelings and experience

It is important for you women to know about this and be careful

IS IT FLAT?? Mars edition (S1 Ep04) - Duration: 1:04.

We will be continuing the discussion about if extra terrestrials visited us.

We have discussed whether or not we are interesting, worth dominating or taking our resources, and considered if they had in our past.

Today, consider this.

They have visited us, and they still do.

There are many people stating they have been kidnapped by extra terrestrial life forms.

In general, we assume they are wrong, and what they think they experienced did not happen.

Why do we do this? Maybe we are wrong, they are right. They really did get kidnapped.

I find this a hard topic to argue both sides for. I mean, if they could travel all the way here, they should be able to kidnap us without us escaping.

Yet people claim to have these experiences where they meet the life forms and escape or are let go

Would the life forms let them go? If they didn't want to stay hidden I assume they would reveal themselves. They shouldn't have anything to fear.

Yet they remain hidden, and release people who could talk about their experiences?

This simply doesn't make sense to me. I think kidnapped people couldn't escape, and there is no reason to release them.

And so there are what I consider to be holes in their story, and it can not be true.

I think they were never kidnapped in the first place.
