when you make excuses up you stop believing those excuses and you sabotage

any possible accomplishments that you can

and you never go back to it because one you're afraid of it and two you just

feel as though you just can't do it and we can do anything that we set our minds

to we just have to stay focused stay out of negative energy and spaces the same

rule applies you have to stay away from people places and things in order for

you to get yourself right you know if you're around people who are looking at

away from those people if you're around people or you're talking to people who

they're listening but they're not you got to get away from those people and

surround yourself with positive people that are trying to live better lies and

not have to as they get older be playing with being afraid to get older because

Senator Elizabeth Warren's remarks about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's life and legacy - Duration: 3:18.

And so when I think about this anniversary, this 50 years,

last night that Dr. King drew breath upon this earth.

I think about the message passed down for that half a century

and I turn to his message when he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize.

Think about the honor bestowed upon him.

And what was the core of his address to the world?

He said it is about these the least of our brethren. These the least among us.

And so when I think about where we are

and I think about what Dr. King still says to us a half a century later

I think about it in terms of Matthew.

I think about it in terms of these the least among us.

More to the point, I think about it in terms of the call that we can still hear from Dr. King.

The call to get out, to speak out, to stand up when we're told to crouch,

to speak out when we're told to be silent, to move forward when we're told we're not welcome,

and to be there, to make change, to be the difference for these, the least of my brethren.

So it is tough, as Reverend Brown says. It's tough in Washington right now.

But it's tough in Washington because it's tough all across this country.

It's tough for young children who aren't getting an education.

It's tough for seniors who are worried that they're gonna have more month than they are money

to be able to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads.

It is tough for young people who are afraid

that when they walk their streets and when they go to their schools that they are at risk for being shot.

It's tough for a lot of people out there.

And what that says to me is that we have a bigger obligation than ever.

A responsibility to act for these, the least of thy brethren.

And to do it to honor Dr. King and to do it to honor the Lord. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Senator Tim Scott Makes Shocking Admission About Trump, Liberals Are Stunned - Duration: 4:48.

Senator Tim Scott Makes Shocking Admission About Trump, Liberals Are Stunned

South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott just made a shocking admission about a private

moment that he had with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Liberals are stunned b what he had to say, which was captured on video.Even before President

Donald Trump took office, liberals have gone out of their way to paint him as a racist

and a bigot.

Everyone from Democrats to the mainstream media has continually tried to portray our

President as a closed-minded buffoon and as someone who isn't sensitive to the rocky

history of race relations in our country.

However, after they see a CNN interview with Senator Scott (R-SC), they won't have a

leg to stand on.

According to Daily Caller, during the interview with CNN host Alisyn Camerota, Scott shared

the set with Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and relayed a very specific encounter that

he had with President Donald Trump.

Liberals weren't ready to hear about this.

"I tell you the truth, I go back to a specific incident in the Charlottesville situation,

where I had some very harsh comments about the president.

And, I was very candid about my displeasure and how I found some of his comments to be

indefensible.

He invited me into the Oval Office after my criticism, and I found something quite surprising

happening in the Oval Office," Sen. Scott recounted.

"He said, 'We're not on the same page on the history of race relations in this country.

Help me find the way forward.'

So, I started talking about legislative remedies that would help poor kids from poor communities,

like the ones I grew up in," Scott continued.

According to Newsmax, Scott credits that conversation with Trump as what eventually led to the bipartisan

passage of new legislation.

"And, he said that he was interested in the legislation.

Long story short, he supported the legislation, and now, Cory Booker and myself, Chris Coons,

and other Democrats, along with Republicans on the finance committee got that bill passed

into law, and every state is now looking at ways to create opportunities," Scott explained.

"Yes, the rhetoric cannot be helpful, it can be indefensible at times, but the challenge

I laid on the president's desk was to help me find a path forward, and legislatively

you had to concede that that legislation, as well as now record low unemployment in

communities of color, are helpful targets from a public policy standpoint," Scott

continued.

"But, we still have to wrestle with the rhetoric that can sometimes be hurtful."Obviously

caught off guard by Scott's candid and unexpected story about Trump, Camerota simply said, "I

think that's a really valuable story."

It's never easy for liberals to give Trump credit for being open-minded or even to admit

that he isn't filled with contempt for people of color.

Liberals will eventually have to come to terms with the fact that Donald Trump is probably

one of the greatest presidents our country has ever had.

In all honesty, former President Barack Obama didn't exactly set the bar for performance

very high after eight years of increasing debt and destructive policies across the board.

Despite his predecessor having been an absolute failure, Trump is proving himself to be a

true leader for all Americans regardless of their ethnicity.

Trump's accomplishments in the jobs sector alone prove that he is a far better President

than Obama ever was for minorities.

Still, these are things that liberals have trouble seeing because they aren't interested

in Americans having a higher quality of life.

The unfortunate truth is that the left really only thrives when people fail and when they

become dependent on the government for sustenance.

After decades of that kind of thinking, there are entire cities that have become criminal

hotbeds where the majority of minorities live in sub-poverty conditions.

I think Chicago is a great example to look at when criticizing liberals for the negative

effects of their ideology.

I applaud Senator Scott for taking the time to compliment our President for his quality

of character and open-mindedness when it comes to bringing different views to the table.

"I racially profiled you about three seconds after you racially profiled me" | Landry - Duration: 1:19.

I got to meet one of their State Troopers when

I was there. Those guys are chipper.

I was driving on the highway, I saw him in the median,

I passed him. I looked down, I wasn't speeding,

felt pretty good about myself. Then he pulled out.

You know that feeling in your stomach when the cops

pullout, you get the "oh shit" butterflies?

I didn't get that feeling right away.

When I got that feeling was when he pulled up next to me,

looked to see who was driving, and then pulled me over.

I was like, "Oh, that is not normal protocol right there."

That dude got to the car, I had my hands on the windshield.

He's like, "What the hell are you doing?"

I said, "I read the news, Sir. I realize it's not a very good

"time to be in America and have pigment..."

(laughter)

"...and I racially profiled

"you about three seconds after you racially profiled me".

(laughter)

He's like, "You can take your hands off the windshield".

I said, "I'll take my hands off the windshield when you take

"your hand off the gun. Until then, I'm reaching for Jesus.

Kumbaya, my Lord".

Ibrahim El-Salahi talks about his 'Oxford Tree' series - Duration: 2:01.

Well I have to make a comparison between the actual tree of a Haraza and

the Oxford tree which I saw when I came to live in Oxford and I went by

the riverside, going to town and having this weeping willow, but I found the

relationship between the vertical and the horizontal, between the colour and the

black and white, between the total form of the tree as a format

on a square and the other shapes which all can work within it being a circle

or part of a circle, between straight lines and curved lines

it's a combination of so many things, I always found this order of forms and how

to link them together to make a whole, they might be different in nature yet

they are unified into one thing and this relates also to the individual and the

society, they're of different origins, different elements, different forms and

different shapes, so the Oxford Tree is something which I found quite different because

with the Haraza tree it lives in a dry, dry nature and trying to cope with life

in the way that suits it, here the trees are by the river, plenty

of water, and the swans, and ducks, and natural habitat, it's kind of gentle

and beautiful, and that's why I got the format for a square

Meghan Markle's Dad Caught Reading A Book About England -She Reunited with Her Mother At Los Angeles - Duration: 2:42.

The 36-year-old Suits actress reunited with her mother, Doria Radlan, over the weekend.

A source tells ET that Meghan, who will wed Prince Harry in May, never had plans to join

the royal family for Easter service despite visiting Los Angeles at the time.

Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, was spotted reading a book titled Images of Britain:

A Pictorial Journey Through History, while at a Starbucks in Rosarito Beach, Baja California,

in Mexico, where he currently resides, earlier this week.

The photo is quite comical in that his daughter will be marrying Britain's Prince Harry in

less than two months.

The 73-year-old retired Emmy-winning lighting director has yet to meet Meghan's famous fiancé,

but is expected to walk the Suits' star down the aisle when she officially becomes part

of the royal family.

"Meghan asked her father to walk her down the aisle," a source told ET back in December.

"She does want him included and she wants to uphold tradition."

When Kensington Palace announced Meghan and Harry's engagement, her divorced parents,

Thomas and Doria Radlan, issued a joint statement congratulating their daughter.

"We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry.

Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person.

To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for

us as parents," the statement read.

"We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."

Meanwhile, ET also learned on Wednesday that Meghan flew back to Los Angeles over Easter

weekend to share details on her upcoming nuptials.

"She was in L.A. to visit her mother, share wedding plans and show her mom designs of

her dress," the source told ET, adding that Meghan continues to work closely with best

pal Jessica Mulroney on the wedding details.

Doria is also expected to make a trip to London very soon.

Doria has previously met her daughter's royal fiancé.

While Harry was at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, last September, Meghan brought her

mom along for the event.

Meanwhile, preparations for the royal wedding are underway.

This past weekend, the couple announced that they chose a florist for their special day.

They have already chosen their cake and sent out invitations.

About the Holga - Duration: 12:01.

Hi guys! So before getting started with today's episode

I have two life updates to share with you real quick.

first one is that it's been a month since I came back from Portland

I know that I just finished uploading the videos last week

But it takes a long time

To work on them, all the footage, to develop all the photos and scan them, edit them and put everything together

So I haven't shot much since then.

I think that I shot two rolls in the whole month of March, around here in the local woods and some places around here

But so pretty much nothing, and I've been itching to get out

I really need to get out and take some photos and go on an adventure.

That's finally happening, in three or four days I'm leaving,

I'm gonna go on a trip by myself to South Dakota where I'm gonna be spending five days.

it's going to take me two days to get there and two days to come back, so four days on the road, five days there

Hopefully taking photos, so I'll probably be posting no videos next week

but videos from that trip to South Dakota will be coming soon, for sure

the second one is that our time here in the Midwest is coming to an end

in one month from today we will be in Lisbon, Portugal

We're not gonna be spending any time in

Portugal or at least not this time. We are just flying there because Luna is coming with us

We tried to find the shortest flight possible, so we're going to be driving to New York from here

and flying from New York to Lisbon. That's a six and half hour flight

Hopefully that's ok for her

after Lisbon, we will be moving to Spain. For those who don't know, I'm from there

So we'll be spending some time there, a few months probably, with family that we hadn't seen in years

We're going to be going on trips around there, and I hope I get to show you my home country a little bit

That's exciting too, and then later this year

We'll be moving to somewhere else in Europe probably Italy, but that's further ahead, so we'll talk about that later

So those were the two updates that I wanted to share with you, and now let's talk about

This little guy

Alright, about the Holga

So I've been wanting to talk about this camera for a long time

actually, last week I went to a local park that is nearby

and I recorded a whole video, and took some shots with this camera

I wanted to prove... to make a point

to make the point that you can actually create great images with this camera

I completely failed, because I got terrible light leaks on most of my photos

so I don't think that was a good way to show you guys, or someone who doesn't believe that you can create good images with this camera

to convince them that you actually can

so that's why I'm doing this video all over again

as you might have noticed, I have tape all around my camera now

trying to avoid those light leaks

I'm not entirely sure they are light leaks anyway

they might be some flare, because it was a very sunny day

and I never got any light leaks with this camera on cloudy days

it's only when the Sun is out. so I don't know what it is, I'm trying to figure it out

I'm sure that most of you know this camera already, but for those who don't

this is a toy, plastic camera. it's a medium format camera, it uses 120 film, the same kind of film that my Bronica does

I shoot HP5 most of the time here, it's a very flexible film that works very well with this camera, because you can't really control the exposure

you only have two settings: cloudy and sunny

that could be f/8, f/13, f/22, something like that, I don't know

it varies from camera to camera, the quality control on these cameras is pretty terrible

the shutter speed is fixed at 1/100th of a second, although it's not exactly 1/100th either

the focus is not precise. it has some symbols: one person, a group of people, a larger group of people, landscape...

it's not very precise and you never know if the focus is going to be

precise or not

as I said, this is a toy camera. I paid some $35 two months ago, brand new

it came with a roll of film, so the actual price is... what? $30? and it shows

it's made of plastic. the lens is made of plastic and that creates a whole new set of problems

the corners are very soft, they are pretty much trash

not that the center is much better, but the corners are pretty terrible

you can shoot bulb mode, but it doesn't have a shutter release so you can't connect a cable.

you have to hold the shutter down while you take the long exposure

I tried last week, and it was better than I thought, but it doesn't really work

I think that the best way to describe this camera is: unreliable, low quality, and rather expensive

it's 120 film, you get between 12 and 16 exposures

you can shoot square (6x6) or 6x4.5

it depends on how you are shooting, you get between 12 and 16 exposures

it can get really expensive to shoot with this camera

and you might be wondering... why in hell would anyone want to use this camera?

and that, my friend, is a very good question

I can only speak for myself

people who love this camera, they will tell you different things, they'll have different opinions

why they love it, what they use it for

but in my case, I've found that the more I use this camera the more it forces me to think out of the box

and what I mean by that is

as you know, I shoot film, and I shoot black and white, 99.9% of the time

that means that if I see a scene, like a tree, with a foreground, background, sky...

I have to convert everything that I'm seeing with my eyes to black and white

as the first step, trying to visualize that scene in black and white

so that's the first step, and it's something I have to do with this camera, with 35mm, with the Bronica, it doesn't matter

that's something I have to go through because I shoot in black and white

but this one adds one, two, three, multiple layers of complexity on top of that one

you have to be thinking all the time, not only about what you are shooting, that you are shooting in black and white

you have think about what this camera is going to do to that photo

you have to try to visualize, you have to try to make that image in your mind

your imagination has to run a little bit wild, trying to imagine how the sides are going to look

because they are going to be blurry, they are going to be destroyed

the distortion on this camera, you have to think about what that does to straight lines. they aren't going to be straight anymore with this lens

it's not about working around the flaws of this camera, it's about embracing them and using them to your advantage

knowing that you can be in a rather boring place, on a rather boring sunny day, like I was last week at the park

I know most of the photos got ruined, but some of them were promising

and that's one of the characteristics of this camera, that you can create amazing images anywhere.

it doesn't really matter the time of the day, or the place

because it has such a unique look to the images, that other cameras don't have

I found that the blurriness and softness on the corners can help you a lot isolating subjects

if you take a photo of a tree, and the scene has a busy background

with any other camera like the Bronica there's no other way for you to get rid of that background

but maybe, maybe, this camera being so soft and so blurry on the sides of the images, might help you a lot isolating the tree from the rest of the scene

that's what I mean by "embrace the flaws of this camera"

and try to use them to your advantage

once you start embracing the flaws of this camera, when you start embracing the soft focus and corners

you might start seeing things that you didn't see before

one of the things that I love the most about film is that it's very rewarding to visualize an image on the field

and use everything that you have in the whole process, camera, developing, scanning, and then editing the photo

to achieve that final result that you saw on the field first

and there's something very rewarding about getting that result, and not something that just happened to happen, you know?

when that same thing happens with this camera, it is 10 times more rewarding

because you saw it, you saw through this camera

you realized how this camera thinks

and you know the results that you can take with this camera

I'd say, give the Holga and any other toy, cheap camera a chance

because they might improve your photography in ways that you never thought of

you aren't going to get worse because you shoot this camera, you can only improve

and if it doesn't work for you, that's alright it was $30 you can give it away to someone else

personally, I carry this camera with me all the time now

I always have a roll of film loaded here, and another roll in my backpack or pocket

wow, this is a thunderstorm, nice

I'm going to show you some photos I've taken with this camera so far

I feel like I should tell you that I had this camera before, I sold it because I didn't want to bring it with me, I got it again

so these photos aren't only from the last two months but from last year too

and that's about it, I don't think I have anything else to say about this camera

please let me know what you think about the Holga or toy cameras, cheap cameras in general

if you have one, if you've used it, if you plan on using one

or if you just plain hate them because you don't like the look and you prefer a better camera

no matter what, thanks for watching and for being there

I'll be making another couple videos for this week, probably

there will be no videos, as I said, during next week

because I'm going to be in South Dakota

thanks for watching and see you in the next one

Ibrahim El-Salahi talks about his 'Tree' series - Duration: 2:45.

Usually I find the idea of the tree a growth, human growth, by relating it to

the human being. I have this idea of trying to find out about the nomad

I found this tree, there's a legend in Sudan, a kind of a story that

the Haraza tree, which is a tree that grows by the banks of the Nile, during

the rainy season and the flood it's completely dry this tree and during the

dry season it's in blossom with fruit and all green and fresh.

They say the Haraza fought against the rain, because of this sort of different

kind of characteristics in a tree, which is supposed to follow the rest of the

trees in the neighbourhood, and growing by the river and to be dry is very

strange, but it seems to me very very close to the nature of the individual

who is a nomad, a nomad rejects authority, rejects being part of a subjected

character, under a certain influence. This tree apart from the idea of growth, and

dryness, and freshness, combines so many things in it as well

and that's why I concentrate on it for a long time

taking different forms, and different shapes, sometimes it comes nearer to a

form of a tree, sometimes it goes a little bit away from the form of a tree, but the

main idea to me was the human being, because I've been following this for

some time and trying to express through my work the idea of the human being as

an individual, as someone who is within himself or herself is completely a form

that is full of love, full of admiration, of understanding, and so on, these to

bring it into a visual form, as I've been trying throughout time was

quite interesting to me, kept my mind alive for some time, many times I come

back to the idea of the tree.

Mom Agrees To Take Strangers Baby, Without Any Idea She's About To End Up Sick Just Like Her - Duration: 3:19.

Mom Agrees To Take Strangers Baby, Without Any Idea She's About To End Up Sick Just

Like Her When she was growing up in a small town in

Ohio, Heather Salazar thought she had her life all planned out.

She wanted to go into the social work field so she could help youth who were at risk.

But then at age 18, she met her future husband Steve, and her life took a different path.

She and Steve married a year later, and over the next 10 years they had three children,

Christian, Caleb and Cara.

But then Heather's calling to do social work returned when her mother's neighbor told her

about a 23-year-old woman who was battling stage IV breast cancer and was looking for

someone who could care for her baby daughter.

Even though Heather and Steve thought they were done adding to their family, Heather

spent the next three days praying about what to do.

She finally told her husband that she believed that they were supposed to adopt this baby.

So they arranged to meet the young mother, whose name was Alexis.

In an interview with Women's Day, Heather said Alexis told them,

"I'm looking for someone to take my baby.

I just want to know that you're going to love her."

Heather went on to say, "My husband just melted right there; he would

have done anything for her because she was so sick with no support."

Over the next few weeks, Heather visited Alexis and her baby, who was also named Alexis.

Heather saw how hard this young mother was fighting to stay alive. The Salazars took custody

of Alexis, now called Lexi, when she was 10 months old.

Over the next year, Heather and her three other kids would take Lexi (as she is now

called) to visit her mother while she was receiving chemotherapy and bring her groceries

and medicine.

Sadly, Alexis passed away from her breast cancer when she was just 24.

Shortly after the Salazars welcomed Lexi into their home, their lives took another turn.

Thinking about how Alexis was diagnosed with breast cancer at such a young age, Heather

decided to do a breast self-exam.

She discovered a lump and was diagnosed with cancer.

She worried that her biological kids were going to lose their mom and that Lexi was

going to lose her second mom.

"But my husband was a rock, and I was so lucky my cancer responded to treatment."The Salazars

were eventually able to legally adopt Lexi.

As Heather explained to Women's Day, "It was hard to adjust at first, but life

with Lexi became second nature.

All of our family, but especially Steve and I, just have this immense love for her.

To us, she's no different than our biological kids.

We tell Lexi how hard her mom fought and how much like her she is.

Now, 10 years later, Lexi is 15 and Cara is 16 and they act like twins."Heather says she

owes Alexis a debt of gratitude.

She told Women's Day: "Had it not been for Lexi's mom, I would never

have done that self-exam.

She saved my life."

#FiveThings About Docker {S:01 Ep:12} - Duration: 4:29.

>> Hi. I'm Burke Holland.

>> Oh, and I'm Jessie Frazell.

I didn't know that part.

>> Hi. I'm Burke Holland.

>> And I'm Jessie Frazell.

>> And this is five Things About Docker.

>> Number one, Docker is

a container technology that does process isolation.

How is this different from virtual machine though,

because I just got used to virtual machines like three

seconds ago and now I've got to learn

containers? What's a container?

>> Yes. So, containers are really

quite different in the fact that

they all share one kernel.

So your VMs actually have a separate kernel,

running in each with different versions

of any sort of operating system,

and containers are actually

created by the kernel features themselves.

So it's not virtualization,

it's just kernel features creating these containers.

>> So, can I stick a Docker container

inside of Docker container?

>> Yes, totally.

>> Has anyone done that before or would I

be the first one to do that?

>> It's actually quite popular.

It's called Docker-in-Docker, DinD for short.

>> Someones already done it?

>> Yeah.

>> Number two.

Docker has these things called images.

What is an image?

And can I put an entire operating system install on it?

Like, my favorite operating system is Windows ME.

So, if I want it,

can I install that in my Docker container?

>> So, you can't do that.

Actually, even on Windows,

you can just use the Windows Nano server container,

but on Linux or anything else,

all you need is the root file system itself.

So, just the files not anything else, et cetera.

>> So, containers don't contain operating systems?

>> They do in the sense that they contain their files

but not the actual

operating system and the kernel itself.

>> Can I put Windows Vista in it?

>> No.

>> How about Windows 98?

>> No.

>> Windows XP?

>> Nope.

>> Number three.

Docker containers are super lightweight.

Meaning, they're small in size but how is that

possible if they contain my Windows ME installation?

>> Yes. So, they

don't contain any Windows ME installation.

They actually just contain

the files that you're trying to run,

so you can even have a container that just literally

has the one binary you want to run in it and that's all,

and that's why it can be super tiny.

>> So, they're very small?

>> Yes.

>> I on the other hand am not

very lightweight, especially after Christmas.

>> I mean it's hard.

>> Speaking of which, can

I interest you in a Goo Goo Cluster?

>> Yes, totally.

>> Oh, you have the Supreme too, that's the one I have.

It's got caramel and marshmallow in it.

>> It's your first GooGoo Cluster?

>> Yeah.

>> That is exciting.

>> I'm really excited. That was good.

>> Number four.

Azure likes Docker and containers.

Like a lot. They're like BFFs.

What all can I do with containers in Azure?

>> Yes. So, it's a little

overwhelming because there's so much you can do.

Just running plain Docker containers,

you can use ACI,

ACS which is Azure Container Service,

and then there is Azure Container Instances,

and then there's also all these open source projects

that the Azure teams

maintain that have to do with deploying containers.

So, Draft and HELM,

and all these popular projects

in the Kubernetes community,

Microsoft actually runs as well.

>> Very cool. Also, I have a best friend's necklace,

if I wear half, would you like the other half?

>> Sure.

>> Number five.

You can get started with Docker and containers

today and it's free, you don't have to buy anything.

How can I do that?

So I can impress my friends.

>> Yes. So there's a lot of ways to learn

Docker online and also learn to Kubernetes online.

So the tutorials on the Docker website,

and then tutorials on

the Kubernetes website are super interactive and you

actually get a terminal and you can deploy applications,

and I would say those are the last part.

>> And if you want to play with containers on Azure,

you can do that with a free Azure account

that you can sign up for today as well.

>> I'm Burke Holland.

>> And I'm Jesse Frazell.

>> And now you know five things about Docker.

What do I want my channel to be about? (check in) - Duration: 5:47.

- And hey the beanie is back too. Yeah I mean I think you guys have seen this beanie more often than ever.

[whoosh, film clapper sound]

Hey what is...happening...JC5ers?

Yeah I know it's uh...awkward.

I was gonna upload a video, a different video this week, but I've just kind of had a rough few days lately.

By the way a few friends of mine who went to YouTube Nextup.

It was mentioned to them that there's three types of videos that every YouTuber should make.

They're called Hero, Hub and Help and Hero videos are the ones where you're trying to get

a lot of people watching, A lot of new subscribers. Help videos are DIYs or just videos where you're

helping someone out do something, and Hub videos where you're talking to your current subscribers.

and this is definitely a Hub video. So just I don't know, just thought I'd toss that out there randomly.

This microphone is...

[microphone moved around]

Sorry.

So one thing that's been bugging me about my channel lately...not...Okay bugging me is the wrong word but.

One thing that has been bothering me is I did mention a while back that I was going to go into the more disability

route for my channel and I still am doing that. The thing is I may have put out one too many videos

talking about disability or blindness because I was looking at my videos.

Ever since I did the "Accepting My Blindness" short film and quite a few of them were about my disability

and I didn't have that many short films, so I had to step back and I was like.

"Wait a second. What do you want your channel to really be about?"

And one thing that I decided to do is I've been watching a lot of the

YouTubers in the disability community, a lot of the disabled youtubers to see how they

do their content, to see what they put out.

Some of them really focus on just disability centered content others try to spread it out.

Make it more about just the regular content that they would do in their niche and then dab into...

dab...dab...why'd you say dab?

[laughs]

Venture into disability and I was watching Molly Burke recently, one of her recent videos.

If you don't know who Molly Burke is she is a blind YouTuber. A really popular blind YouTuber.

What she said is that she tries to just talk about disability but at the same time she wants to put out

just regular videos to show that she's a YouTuber and I want to do the same thing

and I had a few conversations with several friends and what I came to the conclusion is that.

I want this channel to be about the content that a blind filmmaker can put out more than a blind filmmaker.

And I don't want to shun the disability stuff because the disability community on YouTube is the reason why

I'm doing this transition. They've helped me out. I feel like I'm part of that community now.

So I mean don't get me wrong I'm still going to be posting videos about disability.

I'm just going to have to spread them out a little thinner than what I was doing since October of last year.

Maybe it's because of that transition that I'm doing the views have kind of

been lower in general and so has engagement like comments and likes and stuff like that.

I don't know maybe it's just me. I don't know I've just had this thought that perhaps.

Maybe my content is boring you? Maybe it's gotten stale maybe I need to do something new?

But I could be completely wrong. Maybe you're not getting notification so I don't know.

Something's going on but I'm trying to figure it out and I'm trying to see it mixing it up.

Or trying to structure my content better would be something worth doing.

I think I just heard my stomach growling. Crap.

Can I do a take two on that?

[laughs]

It's not that my channel's not growing I mean I'm getting 70 to 90 subscribers a month.

The thing is I'm trying to figure out.

It doesn't seem like it's really made a difference in as far as views go for my new videos.

So it seems like one video is getting people to subscribe.

They're just not really bothering to watch my newer videos.

I mean this seems to be the case for a lot of people but it seems like my short film "Ideas"

which was made in 2012 is still getting a lot of people to subscribe.

I just don't think maybe a lot of those people don't realize I have new videos, or something?

and speaking of that okay, this is a just a mystery I've been trying to figure out for ages

So if anybody from India is watching. Anybody from India who subscribed to me is watching I need your help.

A lot of the views for that short film I just mentioned have been coming from India

and it seems like quite a few subscribers have been coming from India too.

I'm trying to figure out why some of my short films are doing well in India.

I'm just trying to, I'm just trying to like you know, crack a code or something like that.

I'm trying to figure that out. So if anybody from India is watching this right now

please leave it in the comments below like, why, why do you think a few of my videos are performing well there?

Come on mic. No don't don't lean up, down.

So yeah that's what's been going on with me on YouTube and another thing I want to do is I want to dab...

Ahh, you said dab again.

[laughing]

and another thing I want to mention is that on YouTube I'm also trying to venture into the more

kind of avant-garde a little bit not too much just experimental short films.

like my "Rainy Day" video and even more my last one. The voice of, oh man.

I'm forgetting my own titles. Um a voice...

"A Voice From Confidence". I wasn't very confident in remembering that title,

but anyway films like that I want to be able to try more and just

like I said just get a little more experimental here and there as well.

And that's basically what I'm trying to say I know this is completely random.

Just jumping from topic to topic but live me your thought...live me.

Leave-me-your-thoughts-in-the-comments-below. There you go.

Maybe-I-should-do-all-my-videos-where-I-talk-like-this-even-though-I-sound-like-a-robot.

"Danger Will Robinson. Danger!" No wait doesn't he say "Warning, warning!" he says that more often.

Anybody who's never seen Lost In Space is like "What the heck is he talking about?"

Anyway I will be hopefully back with my regularly scheduled videos next week. Hopefully.

Yeah sorry if the sun has been changing it's a partly cloudy day so hooray for continuity problems.

All right this is, yeah I gotta go. Take it easy, see ya.
