[BTS]Suga's painful car accident|Burn the stage ep 3[Engsub] - Duration: 1:40.

Yoongi,do you remember that?We had a room down there.

Yes.

You fell downstairs and hurt your shoulder.

I told you that i fell down the stairs.

But actually,i had a car accident.

-Right.Yes, you told us.Really? how?

Oh,that appears in your song.

It's part of the lyrics in "The Last."

I was delivering while riding the bike when i got hit at the intersection.

i was delivering when i got hit.Bam!

I open my eyes, and i see the wheel here.

Right in front of my eyes.

That was dangerous.

I got drawn under the car.

The next day,I couldn't move my shoulder.

Because it fell out.It had already fallen out,and it got even more serious.

Oh!That's why you mention it...

But if i've went under the car completely...

You stopped b-boying after that,right?

Did the agency know?

They didn't.I didn't tell them.

I thought that they'd let me go if i told them.

I hurt my shoulder working as a delivery boy.

I told them honestly i didn't want to keep going.

I had talked to them about that

And what i remember is that they told me that they'd wait.

They asked me to try one more time.I remember that.

I can't forget that.So i told them i would.

That's how they decided to pay for my college.

I didn't know.Didn;t know what to do...

About my tuition, you know.My family couldn't afford it.

When i told them, they said i should've told them earlier.

That they'd have helped if i had told them sooner.

-That's why i'm...

-So that's what you were talking about...

I had no idea what "holding onto my broken shoulder" meant

I stopped working out after that.

Now i see.You and i were on the verge of getting fired.

The Death of James Dean and His Cursed Car - Duration: 8:38.

James Dean was a cultural icon and famous 1950s actor whose Hollywood status was cemented

through his movies Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden, and his final movie Giant.

Famously, he also was also the first actor to receive a posthumous Academy Award nomination.

Dean is not only famous for his good looks and rebellious attitude, but his fast lifestyle

and the death it led to.

A year before his untimely death, Dean took to auto racing as a serious hobby.

While he had always had a fascination with fast cars, his success as an actor allowed

him to purchase even faster and more expensive cars, like the Triumph Tiger and a Porsche

Speedster.

He was good at handling the cars.

At the Palm Springs Road Races in March, 1955, he took first place in the novice event and

second in the main event.

He continued to collect top tier finishes in other races around the state.

Dean continued to race throughout that spring, until Warner Brother Studios forbid him from

racing while Dean was working on movies.

Dean then spent the summer of 1955 shooting scenes for Giant, though his mind was clearly

still focused on racing.

During the filming of Giant Dean had put down a deposit on a brand-new Lotus Mark IX.

He was then informed the delivery of the supercar would be delayed.

On September 21, just as Dean was finishing Giant, he abruptly traded his Porsche Speedster

for the new 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder and registered for the Salinas Road Race, set to take place

the first two days of October.

While Warner Brothers had forbidden Dean from racing during production, they had not forbidden

him from racing between projects and it appeared Dean was going to make the most of the break

between movies.

The car was nicked "Little Bastard," although sources dispute whether this nickname came

out of a fondness for a personal nickname or bitterness towards studio executives.

The purchase of the Spyder is where the legend and the curse begin Just after purchasing

the car, James Dean had a coincidental dinner meeting with Alec Guiness, the actor who would

go on to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars movies.

Recalling the encounter, Guiness said "… some strange thing came over me.

Some almost different voice and I said, 'Look, I won't join your table unless you want me

to, but I must say something: Please do not get into that car, because if you do' — and

I looked at my watch — and I said, 'if you get into that car at all, it's now Thursday,

10 o'clock at night and by 10 o'clock the night next Thursday, you'll be dead if you

get into that car.'"

The following Thursday, James Dean died in a violent auto wreck in that very same car.

In order to prepare for the Salinas Road Race, and at the urging of his German mechanic Rolf

Wutherich, James Dean drove the Porsche from Los Angeles to Salinas, often driving excessively

fast.

At 3:30 on September 30, less than two hours before the fatal crash, Dean was ticketed

for speeding by the California Highway Patrol.

At approximately 5:15, on US Route 466, a 1950 Ford Tudor was turning left in an intersection

ahead of the Spyder.

Dean was unable to stop, and collided with the driver's door of the Ford, throwing

Wutherich from the Spyder.

One witness, John Robert White, claimed to have seen the car cartwheel at least two or

three times across the pavement before it finally came to rest in a ditch beside the

road.

The collision was violent.

Dean's left foot was crushed between the clutch and the gas pedal, his neck broken,

his jaw broken in several places, both also arms broken, with many other internal and

external injuries found later by the coroner.

A witness to the crash with nursing experience stopped to try and help Dean immediately after

the crash, and while she said she found a weak pulse, "death appeared to have been

instantaneous."

Ejected from the car, Wutherich survived, though his jaw and femur were also badly broken.

The driver of the Ford, who was determined to have no fault for the crash, suffered only

a broken nose and facial lacerations.

On its own, the crash and horrifying death of James Dean was a tragedy, but the story

doesn't end there.

While still filming Giant, Dean had participated in a public service announcement about driving

safely, imploring drivers to follow the rules of the road, and imploring drivers specifically

to avoid speeding like he was the day of the crash.

-clip-

If the eerie foreshadowing of the public service announcement wasn't enough, the Spyder apparently

went on to continue a career of misery after the collision.

George Barris was the Spyder's final owner and a previous acquaintance of Dean's.

He acquired the damaged and twisted remains of the Porsche after a doctor had removed

the transmission for use in his own racing car.

The body of the car was a total loss and it was sold through a scrap yard where it was

then parted out.

When salvageable parts were being removed, the frame slipped off the jack and broke a

mechanic's leg.

Many of the parts went into racing cars owned by Dean's former racing rivals who loved

and could afford the same high-power luxury cars that he did.

A Dr. McHenry allegedly had the engine installed into his car, or at least part of the engine,

and was killed in a racing accident when he collided with a tree.

In the same race, a Dr. Eschrid was injured in a rollover.

His car contained the drive train from the wrecked Spyder.

Two salvageable tires were sold and blew out simultaneously on an easy drive with their

new owner.

Thieves who approached the parted-out car one night, hoping to steal the bloodstained

seat and steering wheel as high-end if not macabre mementos, received serious lacerations.

They were not successful in stealing anything.

The remains of the Spyder went on the road as a traveling attraction, bringing even more

misfortune with it.

Barris didn't want the car to go travelling initially, but the California Highway Patrol

insisted the car would be a valuable tool in educating the public about the importance

of road safety, so he relented, and off the Spyder went.

Allegedly fires started in and around the car at random.

A garage holding the Spyder partially burned down but left the twisted heap of metal untouched.

While on exhibit at a high school, the Spyder slipped off its stand, injuring a nearby student.

The story of the Spyder ends in 1960.

The car was placed into a sealed boxcar in Florida and hauled by train back to Los Angeles.

George Barris signed the manifest, verified the seal was intact and the boxcar had been

safely returned, but when he opened the container, the Spyder was gone.

Some say the Spyder was lost intentionally by Barris as it was losing its profitability.

Some point to its disappearance as another element of the car's possible curse or haunting.

Barris offered a million dollars to anyone who could produce the Spyder, and though a

few individuals and museums have claimed to have pieces or hidden the car on premises,

nothing of the Spyder has ever been found, apart from the pieces that were removed early

on.

Known by serial number and registration documents, the original engine of the Spyder is still

in the possession of the family of the racer it killed.

The transaxle assembly passed into the hands of a collector.

But anything else has now been lost to time and the legend of James Dean's Spyder lives

on.

Dropping a Car from a Crane - Duration: 7:51.

- Hello, I'm Gav. - I'm Dan.

Welcome to the "The Super Slow Show."

- We're at the drop zone. - Yes, we are.

That means we're about to drop something.

It might just be this car.

Yeah, this is from the catapult video.

Right. We couldn't sell it,

and we thought it's not sufficiently trashed enough.

We definitely dented it up.

- Yeah. - But it's not annihilated.

It's not completely crushed.

Dan: Oh! Gav: Right through the zero.

- Oh, God! - That was so clean.

So we've got a 40-ton crane,

and we're gonna lift it about 80 feet up into the air.

Wonder what speed it's gonna go when it hits the floor.

That is up there.

It really is.

We're going to be getting this on two Phantoms,

one that's wide, a thousand frames,

one a little bit tighter, 2,000 frames a second.

We've also got a GoPro in the back,

looking forwards.

And another one on this fat hook.

This is the biggest hook I've ever seen.

- It's massive. - Massive.

We also thought that an impact into the dirt

would be too soft,

so we've replaced the floor

with, like, an inch of steel.

So this should be horrendous.

( theme music playing )

( crane whirring )

Well, it's definitely something we couldn't do in your back garden, for sure.

Absolutely not.

That crane just lifted it like it was nothing.

It's like, all right, here we go, 80 feet.

It's absolutely dwarfed the ruler.

Imagine being in the front seat,

how scary that would be.

- You wouldn't live. There's no way. - No, there's no way.

- All right. - Although, I reckon

that when it hits,

the car's going to come forwards towards the Phantom

- because of the way it is. - All right.

I'm really looking forward to this.

- You wanna get it going? - I'm ready.

All right. Three! Two! One! Drop!

Oh! Oh!

( laughing )

That was just a little bounce.

Yeah. At one point it hit the floor. I think it was in mid-air again.

Gav: I think, if there's an area,

where it's, like, back off the ground again.

Wow. Oh, we smashed the windows, though. We got more points.

Should we go check it out?

Yeah.

- Oh. - Look at this.

- ( gasps ) - You can still see the 100-point marks on the window.

It fell out perfectly.

Look, it's just laid out,

Dan: And the GoPro's still attached to it.

I think the only way you could've done that

is to drop a car from a crane.

I think you're right. I absolutely think you're right.

Gav: Oh, that is a flat front.

Dan: Oh, man, that is squished.

'Cause that's not like hitting a car, where it's uneven.

That just absolutely crushed it.

Oh, man.

Sound guy's definitely not gonna be pleased this time.

I mean, at least last time you could drive it afterwards.

This, I think, is unsalvageable.

I'd just say it's more breezy.

Gav: Crunch.

Dan: Oh, look at the ripple go all along the...

It just drives into itself.

Look at the dust it kicked out from the front.

It's, like, wafted all the dust away.

Oh, look, the mirror.

The million points has gone flying.

You can see one mirror...

What are the chances?

- Dan: Oh, close-up. - Gav: This is satisfying.

Glad we got that metal there.

- Yeah, that's solid. - That tin-foil effect again.

- On the hard metal. - Oh, look.

- The mirror hit the car and then flung out - It popped out.

- Yeah. - It was like a catapult.

That's amazing.

So then it took off.

How high did it even get?

It must've been, like, an inch.

That's--

I like that I'm leaning down to try and see under.

Yeah, I did the same. You beat me there.

Nope, that's completely useless.

Idiots.

Oh, we get to see the window smash.

See, there's the side door.

- See? - Yeah, the side smashed off as well.

- Lovely. - So I think we should destroy it even more.

- All right. - All right, should we flip it over?

Yeah, let's flip it over and we'll destroy it some more.

If you could open the doors, which you can't,

there's also enough room to actually sit in there.

- That's not good enough. - That's not good enough.

- Definitely not good enough. - I think we should change that.

What have you got in mind?

Ta-da. This guy is a concrete K-rail,

weighs about 3 1/2 metric tons,

in English, so--

What's that in American?

About 8,000 pounds.

Ooh, what's that in stone?

- Wait, 8,000 divided by 14. - We haven't got time for this.

- Yeah. - So, I think drop it on the roof lengthways,

and see how much carnage we can cause,

'cause I wanna completely finish this thing off.

- All right. - Yeah?

- Let's hoist 'er up. - Cool.

So you don't often see a roof-on collision, do you?

It's either a head-on or a fender bender or a side--

So this is simulating a plane nose-diving

into the roof of a car.

With a concrete block on it for some reason.

- Yeah. - Yeah. You ready?

Let's turn this thing into a pancake.

- Dan: Cool. - Or a hot dog.

Three, two, one, drop!

- Oh... - That is beefy.

The deep bassy thud.

That has smushed the car.

Can you hear it hissing?

Should we get in there?

- Yeah. - Let's check it out.

Ah, the delicious hiss of the Freon.

Oh, man.

You would have to get into some serious trouble

for your car to look like that.

I mean, it's certainly popped the tires.

- It popped all the tires. - I'm not sure if they were already popped.

I don't think I've ever seen a car

more annihilated than this,

unless you're talking like that's been crushed at a scrappy.

Yeah, one that's cubed.

Yeah, this is the most crushed and smushed

a car has ever been that I've seen.

Almost sad.

Sound guy will be sad. That's for sure.

All right, let's go look at the footage.

That just looks so wrong.

It's going so fast.

A concrete rail should not be in the air like that.

- Dan: Whoa. - Gav: You see all the dust get kicked up?

Dan: Oh, man.

All the tires popped. Everything just smushed.

Gav: Even the air being forced out through the windows

is significant, like you see, like a... ( imitates air whooshing )

That car probably weighs a metric ton and a half, maybe.

That K-rail is more than twice the weight of the car,

a much smaller surface area.

And then you can see-- because obviously the engine is the hardest part.

The other end, the back end, went all the way down.

Any air that was in the car

is now out and gone.

Like, there's no space in there.

That's beautiful and horrific.

Some people pay a lot of money to lower their cars.

All you need to do is drop a concrete block on it.

- Yeah. - Look at it.

I mean, you say that like this was cheap,

like this was the cheap version.

Good point.

Way more expensive to do it like this.

Fair enough, yeah.

Hopefully you enjoyed that mindless destruction.

How To Prep Show Car: Quick Cleaning Tips! - Modified Infiniti G35 & QX30 - Chemical Guys - Duration: 7:43.

What's up Chemical Guys family? Today in the Detail Garage we have these two

highly modified Infinitis. Now, since we're gonna be working on two cars, I

brought my buddy in here, Joseph. If you guys have been to our Los Angeles

showroom you know this guy. He's one of our characters. He's one of my good

friends there's also a great detailer, so he's gonna help me get these two show

cars ready for the show car season. Now, the temperatures are warming up you guys

are bringing all your projects out of the garage to those shows so we're gonna

show you the quickest and easiest way to make them look their best. So, to start

off, we're gonna be using some Synthetic Quick Detail Spray and this is a great

way to safely remove any abrasive particles of dirt, debris, bird droppings

from the paint, glass, chrome wheels, or even your engine bay. So without further

ado, we have two cars here. One car that is highly detailed. It's routinely

cleaned and it's got just a light layer of dust: perfect for a quick detail spray.

Now over here Joseph's gonna talk about this other Infiniti which has a little

bit more dirt and debris. Yes, it does Nick, as you can tell. So what I love

about going with Synthetic is actually Synthetic has a heavy amount of gloss

enhancers to it and it also has anti-static properties. What that means

is after you end up applying this product it's not gonna allow for like

the dust end up really sticking there. So, what I'm gonna start off with is if you

could tell you got some little bird droppings here, some light little dust.

I'm gonna go and give it a couple good squirts and use my Happy Ending

microfiber towel swiping in one direction ensuring that we don't smear all

that dust and debris around here, alright? So if you don't mind I'm gonna go

and get to this a little bit. I'll start to hit up other areas of the car and we'll

be right back with the next little section that we're working on.

So guys, we wanted to give a good demonstration here and give you a 50/50

of what the results were. Off of just a couple squirts from this Synthetic

Detail Spray got rid of a lot of the bug and you know little bird droppings that

are up here. Also, you end up noticing the radiant shine that you're getting

on this driver's side of the car. Now, what's great about Synthetic is this is

going to be an amazing product for me to use on the glass and also on these

beautiful custom wheels that we have with the polished lip and all these

aerodynamic carbon fiber pieces that are around the car here. So, if you

don't mind just going to let me get to it here for a little bit while Nick and I

go and work on these cars and sit back and go ahead and enjoy this video.

So now both of these Infinitis are looking really good but we still want to

protect it, which is why we're gonna enhance that shine but also add a

protective layer of carnauba wax using Banana Spray Wax. Now, what this is is

carnuba spray which enhances that shine but it also repels dust, UV rays, and

water spots. All you have to do is shake up the bottle and spray it directly on

the surface. It doesn't take any time to haze or flash so you can wipe it off

immediately and unveil that high shine. So Joseph and I are gonna finish up both

these cars. Let us know which car you like best and also come visit this guy

at our Gardena store. In the meantime, you guys can also head over to our

website chemicalguys.com and check out these products for yourself and we'll

see you next time right here in the Detail Garage.
