Welcome to our Asia Pacific headquarters.
So this is our top floor here. This is also our kitchen. It's where everyone gathers to eat.
It's designed like a kopitiam, so we really believe in an open-air,
a sharing type of a coffee shop, a very good vintage feel.
So every morning we'll walk in and we'll grab some breakfast.
Here are the cereals. I tend to opt for the chocolates because
I'm a big chocolate fiend, so I've got my Toblerone.
We're really into DIY, do-it-yourself types of breakfasts.
So what we'll do is we'll make our own breakfast,
grab an egg here, actually use this little boiler and boil it,
and often times people will come up with really great breakfast creations.
We have a salad bar here as well, stocked up with healthy food.
And I tend to make really great salads so if you want to come by
and try it out sometime, I'll show you our salad bar.
When you come into Airbnb, you can sit anywhere you want.
Some people prefer to sit at the same desk and others want to hot desk it.
What you'll see is that as people move around in the office,
they really do get to know each other a lot better
and they feel like they can collaborate in a more open environment.
So while you can belong anywhere and work from any desk,
we do have, what we call neighborhoods on each floor.
So here, we have neighborhoods that belong to the talent team,
marketing, IT and recruitment.
And downstairs we have operations, legal, public policy, homes acquisition.
So this is Juni. She's part of the ground control team.
So ground control is a part of our central nervous system here at Airbnb.
They pretty much run a lot of things and are incredibly important to us.

Many times IT teams are hidden at other companies, but not here at Airbnb.
In fact at Airbnb, we have a special section just for our IT team.
So you'll see here that our stairway is designed really thoughtfully.
It has Ebisu color. Ebisu is one of our special, unique, Airbnb-made colors.
And it's all about belonging and having people feel like they're at home.
So we have a lot of colleagues who really like to have lattes and cappuccinos
and some are incredibly impressive with how they do latte art.
Like Tania here. She can design lattes like that.
And so we often have latte art classes, where we try to
share lessons with each other on how to make great lattes.
We have so many beautiful homes on our platform, over 4.5 million,
and some of the best ones here are shown in our office.
So our conference rooms are designed after
some of the best listings we have on our platform.
Here we have Cappadocia, Turkey. If you come on in with me
you'll see that the employees actually brought back these souvenirs
they took from Cappadocia, Turkey to design this really cool conference room.
So that it doesn't ever feel like you're really working from a conference room.
It feels like you're working from a listing.
This is one of my favorite conference rooms. It's called the Bangkok living room.
So it's modeled after an actual Bangkok listing and the owners taught us
where to get all the different toys and replicas of different designs here,
so we actually modeled it pretty much to a tee.
And now we're on the bottom floor. This is the kitchen where the food team
lovingly prepares our food every single day.
At Airbnb, we have lunch and breakfast catered for us every day
because we want to enjoy good food over great conversations.
This is Belo 6. So the team that came and designed this,
at first they thought, "What are we gonna do with the space?"
But they ended up decking it out with amazing features and tables and chairs,
and now it's become our gaming room, so people often come
here to chill and relax during the day.
This is the outdoor patio. It's one of my favorite places.
This is where we have a bunch of events. We often have karaoke nights.
We have barbecues that we have together, and I just love being outside.
Check out this wall here. It's one of my favorites.
I don't have a garden at home, so this is as close as I have to it.
