Youtube daily how Apr 5 2018

Whats Up Everybody I am BK BK bangers.com welcome to another video today's video

as you can see by the title and description is me doing a review for

studio linked chord guru also Trophies by Brian Michael Cox now trophies is a

VST it's a it's kind of like if you're familiar with Nexus it's like a Rompler

but it does way way way more right it's a different beast altogether so I'm a

touch on trophies with in this video the main reason why I'm doing this video

today this is chord guru and what poor guru is is somewhat like insta chord or

scalars it's a utility like you know like how insta chord is a utility you

route it to a VST and it plays out the chords for you now a subscriber by the

name of crams fury posted a question to me about a week ago I thought that the

insta chords video and I showed how to do the routing cuz a lot of people was

asking questions about the routing situation and they was having difficulty

so I got a lot of traction from that video alone thank you guys to all you

guys who stop by and check that out but prams Barry asked or said if you

play he basically made a statement says that's piece have to make sure that your

input says whatever MIDI VST are trying to control in stock or scaler cthulhu

etc but what's the science behind studio linked for goon it doesn't give you an

option to add that as an input on a VST a you

now I didn't know what was this time I never came across it and I heard about

trophies and studio link I knew what's through studio link work like the

developers the company but for me poor dude I had no idea of it so thank

you cranberry for giving me the task to do my research as I told you I was going

to do and this is what I did so I'm gonna flip over into studio one 3 and I

can show you guys what's going on all right catch I wanna flip all right so

we're over here in studio one 3 I currently have one instance of pork cool

open that's all you really need and I have about 1 2 3 4 5 6 instances of

choking now Jovi's is crazy because I don't know if i'ma do it in this video

I'd do another video of it but uh basically this is this is pork guru and

I'll tell you what it's not before I tell you what it is so it's not nothing

like it's the court as far as routing is concerned

you cannot route it to play another VST instrument like I showed in the previous

video of insta chord you can route insta chord or scalar to play Nexus or on the

sphere from your MIDI controller or if you if you draw in your MIDI notes it'll

play that said VST well guru on the other hand does not do that but what it

does it gives you a layout for MIDI notes and chord progressions and in here

you can change the key of the scale you can change the app from natural

minor to sharp to flat how you play it it has modes of major and minor you know

normal preset 7th jazzy sus sustain and six the tritone augmented so you know

that's the the technical jargon if you will what it basically is cranberry and

to anyone else out there who are confused with what this is because it

doesn't give off any sound outside of you know it plays you what the chord

sounds like so if I if I put put it on this piano right here for instance and I

preview

you

so it allows you to hear what the chords was satellite before you are you drag

the MIDI out so this is basically it sets you up like you have idea a

starting point now one thing that I've noticed with making these adjustments

inside of chord guru is that if you if you change these blocks up here right if

you have g9 highlighted and you hit a flat minor it changes it to a flat minor

right

and if you change the beginning to say B flat seven and you press play for

preview it doesn't change the sound like I'm remember what it sound like before

and what it's gonna sound like now is gonna be the same thing

right it's not much of a difference so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong

because it was there's no instructions there's not an instruction manual that

comes with this plug-in so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong the BPM is

locked to the BPM of of your host dog your host VAW and in this instance mines

is 141 99.99 and it calculated it to 142 and you can't make any adjustments to

the BPM here's a volume knob so if I press preview

you

so you're able to adjust the volume also you four instruments so you can hear

what the court of satellite over four instruments so this is the piano this is

a violin

then there's a heart and then there's like a keyboard you know for like pads

and stuff so then there's also this randomizer this dice you could random

you know you can set it to random and then drag and drop so that's what I did

I basically set it to random then I drag the MIDI over into trophies but I'm

gonna take this off because I don't need it so I started with with this instance

of trophies

now dragged and dropped it originally this it was reversed so this was

actually in front of this

so that's how I was originally without what I did that so

I switched it around and then I came up with that sound and then I just started

stacking it that is basically what cord guru is I would give you guys some some

some heat because I'm not to do a full breakdown their resume for trophies but

I want to keep this video as short as possible so to crams fury salute to you

for bringing to my attention I was able to to get in contact with studio link

and they sent through core guru for me to do a review on and if it wasn't for

you I wouldn't even thought to contact them and and and be able to do this

review so I don't want to draw this out for too long but I'll give you a little

sneak peek or what's gonna happen inside of the next video

hi John that's my time thank you so much salute to studio link for getting in

touch with me and allowing me to do this review of core Google and trophies look

out for the next video I will go into more details on what trophies is its

functionalities and what it do so do remember that music is life it is idea

and they keep banging our peace love like til next time these

these

sadhguru - what is enlightenment and how to get there - Duration: 12:41.

Sadhguru: Neither enlightenment nor en-darkenment describe what it is.

That's why people said nothing.

When they said nothing, you thought they are dumb.

They said nothing because they knew whatever they say is bound to be wrong.

So you need to understand this.

Whether we talk about enlightenment or en-darkenment or whatever else,

we are only talking around it, never it.

We are talking around it to bring you closer.

Instead of talking there (Gestures) you talk here.

So the talk draws you closer.

Close is not in.

'I am almost there' is not a good place.

People who continuously fail in their lives, they always have this thing 'I almost made

it.'

'Almost made it' is not a good thing.

You made it, you did not make it,

that's all there is with life.

So is darkness do you know what is darkness?

You do not know what is darkness.

To some extent you have a context for the light.

You know light to some extent not wholly, to some extent

because you have never travelled with light.

Nothing travels as fast as light.

A few months ago the European scientists who've always been

living with a wound in their hearts

that Einstein, an American, an American,

he came out with this theory that they cannot disprove.

So two months ago the European scientists came up with this thing,

that they found neutrinos which travels faster than light.

And about five days ago, they came out or they admitted or somebody

made them admit that there was a mistake in the measurement

because of power outage.

Because of a power outage, they mismeasured the thing

and they thought neutrinos are going faster than light

but nothing is going faster than light as far as we know right now.

But darkness is going faster than light because darkness need not go anywhere, it's

everywhere.

Something that is everywhere at the same time is

definitely faster than that which travels, isn't it?

You understand what I am saying?

Something travels from here to here fast but something is here also and here also at

the same time, it is definitely faster, isn't it?

(Applause) No, no, no, don't clap,

this will not win me a Nobel Prize or something.

(Laughter) Now you don't know what is darkness.

That which you cannot perceive is darkness, isn't it?

That which you cannot perceive is darkness.

But there is no such thing as darkness.

There is something called light but there is no such thing as darkness.

All that you do not know is in the dark, isn't it?

All that you cannot perceive is in the dark.

If we turn off the lights in this hall you cannot see what's in front of you,

so you are in darkness.

If you could see, you are not in darkness.

How you saw, whether because we turned on a light from

outside or you managed to see by yourself,

still darkness would not exist.

There are many many creatures in the forest which are right now foraging around,

hunting, waiting for dinner,

having dinner doing so many things.

No electric lights.

You ask a tiger 'What is darkness?'

He says, 'Where is darkness?'

There is no darkness for him.

He sees well enough in the day, he sees well enough in the night.

Do you think in his experience anything looks dark?

Nothing is darkness because darkness never existed.

That which is not in your perception is darkness.

So we said, 'Shiva is the dark one' because he is that which you are yet to perceive.

What you are yet to perceive is darkness.

What you have perceived is light.

So we prefer to call realization as enlightenment.

It's definitely more appropriate because it's something that you have seen.

Something that you have not seen is darkness.

We cannot refer to one's realization to something that one has not seen.

And what you have not perceived is a much bigger dimension than what you have

perceived, that which is not,

which we are right now referring to as darkness.

See right now it is not the light which makes you see.

I want you to get this straight.

(Showing a small vessel) Now you can see this little object not because

of the light, because this object reflects the light,

otherwise you wouldn't see.

Suppose this did not reflect any light, light passed straight through this, you wouldn't

see it.

You are not seeing the air but if there is dust in the air you can see

it.

So, you are not seeing something because of light.

You are seeing something because something stops light.

So that which stops light is what is in your perception.

That which stops light is in a way anti-light, isn't it?

Anti-light should be darkness but it is not.

Darkness doesn't care; it allows light to pass through, nothing happens.

Light is powerless in darkness, please see.

Only if there is something which stops the light,

light is an effective force.

If nothing stops it, if you ignore it (Gestures) it means nothing.

So, the whole process of spiritual process is just this.

Right now you are relevant, you as a life is relevant

only because something stops you.

(Laughs) You don't like that?

Let me put it in context for you.

Something stops you means your body stops you,

your wife stops you, your husband stops you,

your job stops you, things around you stop you.

Because you are bouncing off all these things, your life is relevant.

If we strip you if we stripped you of all these things it's

irrelevant, isn't it?

But if you exist in that irrelevance, instead of living in reflected glory

if you learn to live in this irrelevance, suddenly you find there is something so phenomenal.

Brahmacharia means just this, to make your life irrelevant.

No context, simply here,

nothing.

There is nothing that you bounce you can bounce yourself off.

No relationships, no friendships,

no belonging, no nothing,

simply.

If you learn to live like this, then the very boundless will open to you.

Right now you are bouncing off petty particles and these petty particles are giving you some

relevance.

But if you stop seeking that relevance and simply sit here,

you will see a boundless nature which doesn't need any context exists within

you.

So that we can call it darkness, we can call it Shiva,

we can call it Brahman, we can call it whatever.

It is that boundlessness, it is only when you touch that boundlessness

you have a taste of freedom.

Till then your very existence is relevant only because

you are bouncing off something.

If there is nothing to bounce off, you are like light.

Light is irrelevant if nothing stops it.

Even if you have a very powerful light, if nothing stops it

it's irrelevant because nobody will feel it.

Only when something stops it, it becomes relevant.

So the de-lightment, I am sorry enlightenment (Laughs)

these are just words, something,

we have to use some word.

From now on we will replace the word 'enlightenment' from bhum bhum.

When I say bhum bhum it means enlightenment.

If all of us start using this word 'bhum bhum'

'Oh!

Bhum bhum!'

(Laughter) What?

Bhum bhum bhum.

So these are just words

How I use evernote as a Journal (10 steps to use Evernote) - Duration: 6:27.

Hello everyone, today im going to show you how i use evernote as a yearly planner or

journal. Whatever u like to call. I'm gonna make the step easy and simple to understand.

So i will juz break it into 10 steps.

Step 1: get evernote from their website, you juz hv to use your email to sign up

Step 2: you can either use the web version or you might download the window or ios version

for your computer. I like to use the window version as it give me more tools to use. And

i also have the Android version on my phone and the ios version on my ipad.

Step 3: create a notebook. After installed the evernote software. You

will see a very simple interface. On the left panel, you can see all your notes and your

notebook there. You can then add any notes by clicking the plus icon or you can move

your cursor to notebook and click on the plus icon there. So now we gonna create our 2018

journal here. Step 4: i like to have a very organized planner.

And everything break from the big pictures to small detail. So we gonna create a note

" 0-2018 calendar " and here we gonna insert the hk calendar here. And we can check all

the public holiday on the first page. Its very convenient for us to check during the

yr.

Step 5: create the monthly planner. We can copy the template from evernote website directly.

I will put the link on the info box. We need the monthly planner now. So lets click it

and, here we can see the save to evernote icon. Click it and you can save to your evernote

account. Barely in mind that the note here included all 12 months in a yr. I dislike

the idea so im gonna split it to 12 notes.

Step 5. The daily planner, The daily planner of mine. It is juz a blanks

notes. The title will be "1-Jan-01 "Im not gonna use the weekly planner or daily planner

from evernote. The reason is i can do my weekly planning on the monthly planner. Becoz it

is a digital planner so i can actually write as much as i want in the cell. There isnt

really any space limitations which i really really like. For the daily planner template

of evernote, it let you plan wht you hv to do each hr. i hv a very boring life and every

day is kind of the same so i will not write down my hrly plan. I will create each day

as a note and write down some important meeting or gathering. Or some deadline there. I will

also upload some photos of the gathering or meeting to rmb wht happened that day or write

wht i did or how i feel of that day.

Step 6. The alarm feature. It is very helpful tool for those ppl who are very forgetful.

You might use the alarm feature to remind yourself to finish some task on or before

a certain day and time. The function is very easy to use. You juz have to use the alarm

feature and set the day and time. You will get a notification from your phone and also

emails.

Step 7. The check list I like to use the check list on the monthly

planner. Which allow me to see very clearly wht i hv done and hvnt done during the month.

And i also like to use the emoji icon for the task so that there will not be too mnay

words. You can also use the tick box as a shopping

check list or packing check list...etc

Step 9. Make your journal become more colorful.

I will put a cover on each month. So that when i m looking on the note list. it is very

easy to distinguish each month.

Step 10. Get started. I like to review wht i hv to

do each week at the beginning of the week. And make a list of wht im gonna finish on

my way to work. So when i reach the office i hv a clear mind of wht i hv to do.

Last but not least. I hope evernote can let us use a spreadsheet on the notes. This is

very sad that when i want to use spreadsheet, i hv to use another tool for it.

Also, it will be great if it also allow us to record video and add to the notes.

Thank for watching my video. I hope it helps you and rmb to subscribe my channel and like this

video.

I will see you soon and bye.

How to Make a Jelly Bean Bracelet | Sophie's World - Duration: 4:12.

hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world well if you're like me it's after Easter

and you've got all these jelly beans what do you do with them well I've got an

idea for you turn them into an edible bracelets I think they kind of look a

little like Wilma Flintstone might wear them I'm gonna teach you how to make one

right now for this project you'll need a tapestry needle or a long strong needle

with a large eye one millimeter elastic thread and jelly beans and scissors so

what you're gonna do is start by taking your elastic and threading it through

the eye of your tapestry needle now the reason you want to use a tapestry needle

if you can get your hands on these is because they're very thick they're very

hearty they're not super super sharp but they are strong and they have a very big

eye and now it's really really simple all you're gonna do is use your jelly

beans like beads so you're going to place the needle at one side here and

put it down and just push it through now this is not a craft for little

children to do they can enjoy the final product but they're not going to be able

to push through this jelly bean so I would say you got to be at least ten

years old or so so then choose your next jelly bean and same thing just push down

get it to start there and you can always turn it over and push it this way push

it on through and depending on how hard your jelly beans are this project will

be super super easy or a little bit of pushing so one more

time if you're having trouble what you can do

is you can actually use a push pin or a thumbtack and make like a little starter

hole if you are but as you can see it goes through pretty easily

so you keep going until you've got it to about the length that you want and you

just measure by like wrapping it around your wrist to see and once it's all done

to the size that you want just cut off your needle now don't worry you haven't

ruined your needle I know it looks terrible right it's all covered with

sticky stuff but if you just put that in a little bit of hot water just let it

soak with a little bit of dish detergent it comes up really good and right back

to normal okay so I just tried a little knot there just a regular knot and I'm

going to tie it again and now I'm gonna do what I call a pretzel knot which means

I'm gonna take this one and I'm gonna go up and bring it through so it's like

rabbit ears and then I'm just gonna pull from side to side and then I'm gonna do

that one more time so again call this the pretzel knot just make a circle

bring this one under and through just like that there's your pretzel

and just tie it down and then just trim it here now one thing about your

bracelet I mean mostly this is gonna get eaten before it's going to get worn for

too long but if you are going to be saving it I would put it in a plastic

bag and like a ziploc bag or plastic bag that has a seal on it just so that ants

or little critters don't get at it until you're able to wear it and there you

have it a sweet little bracelet that's good

enough to eat for more great ideas check us out at sophie-world.com

Giant Cupcake Cake / How to decorate a big cupcake tutorial. - Duration: 4:22.

in this video I'm showing you how to make this beautiful giant cupcake hey

guys this is Veronica from behindthecake.com and let's start with this cupcake.

okay to build up the bottom part of the cupcake we need three layers of

cake and two of buttercream filling.

Let's start carving from the top.

The top has to be about two inches smaller in diameter than the bottom of the cake.

You can also use a smaller cardboard on top so you can use it as a guide.

just make sure you cut all around and it's like slope.

let's add the first layer of buttercream this is called a crumb coat. Then we're gonna put it on the fridge

and this is gonna help us with the crumbs they get seal with the

buttercream so we don't have to mess with them later on. For the top part of

the cupcake I'm using a half ball cake, crumb coated with buttercream and put it

on the fridge to harden up.

Add the second layer of buttercream and smooth it out.

I did not use a lot of buttercream but you can definitely add

more buttercream to your cake pop it back in the fridge to chill for five minutes.

Do the same for the top part of the cupcake and at the tip instead of

rounding it off try to make it like a little heel kind of like more pointy

here I'm cutting a cardboard to the diameter of the top of the cake.

Place it on top and turn the cake upside down. Make sure your cake is level and put it

to the side while we roll out a strip of fondant to wrap it around.

Use some cornstarch underneath the fondant so this won't stick to the mat

and get rid of any air bubbles.

Wrap the fondant around the cake

letting the strip ends overlap to cut the excess and get a clean cut to smooth out.

Cut the excess of fondant at the top and bottom of the cake.

Turn the cake upside down and continue smoothing out. Get rid of any air pockets

by pulling the fondant back just a little bit to release any air trapped

and smooth again. Rremove the top cardboard to insert the support dowels

or bubble straws as I used here.

Put that cardboard back

add some buttercream and we're gonna add the top of the cupcake

Secure both cakes with a center dowel this is gonna help us so the cake doesn't move or tilt

With a tip number 1M, I'm gonna start doing rosette all around the

top of the cake covering the seam between the bottom and the top of the cupcake.

The second row of rosettes are piped in between the rosettes we piped previously

Keep on piping until you have all the top cover with a rosette. And if you have

any parts that need a little bit more of frosting just pipe like a little star

and that should take care of it. Now that is all covered with a buttercream just

put it in the fridge and you can start adding sprinkles or whatever other

decorations you wanna put on top.

tricks and more cake decorating tutorials from very talented cakers.

Yawning Through Your Nose | How To Thursdays - Duration: 3:53.

doesn't this shirt look like a nightie cozy and comfy but no it is a formal shirt

and you know what is the most annoying thing is when you are in a formal

situation and you feel one of these coming

there are some things in our body

which are involuntary movements sometimes we can control it sometimes we

just cannot so this yawn can be due to a variety of reasons you're bored

you have no oxygen you have no water it can be so many factors you may have seen

someone yawning but it doesn't mean that it allows you to yawn and your yawn can

cause you a very serious consequence I'm not speaking from personal experience at

all however brothers and sisters today I'm

going to teach you a very life-saving technique and that is to yawn through

this little thing over here that's right yarn through your nose I have not seen

anyone do this I'm pretty sure that many of you know how to do it but maybe you

just don't do it for some reason I very often see more of ... kind of yawns than the

little even the little petit yawns you know and this nose yawn is very

effective not because it looks pretty it does not it looks like this

but at least

it saves you from a lot more embarrassment than if your mouth is wide

open and you can see down your throat into your stomach so here's how you go

about it first of all know that it is possible yes people are doing it

secondly think of it like this yawn just needs to come out through some opening

okay don't think of all the openings now I'm just talking about your face here

and there are these openings also on your face and you just need to channel

your yawn from here to there it's that simple so the second thing is

kind of knowing the mental understanding of it all and the third thing just do it

just just close your mouth that's it when you close your mouth automatically

the yawn is gonna find this nose opening sometimes I even think part of it

comes out through my ears yes your eyes are going to water do not be alarmed if it's

really big yawn it's gonna like squeeze up

everything in your face but step three is simply close your mouth step four is

being strong because when that yawn is coming out through your nose it's gonna take

a lot of effort to hold your mouth together shut look at this okay I try to

walk you through a yawn okay yeah it's very easy for me to yawn on command

okay Vihan yawn

okay that went to an actual yawn okay yawn through your nose hmm

wow

so your eyes might blink a lot and your ears also kind of get blocked

because that force is something and you don't want to do this every time because

a yawn sometimes it just needs to come out and it helps when you sing a yawn

helps open up your throat and whatnot but you know I'm talking about those

situations where you can't afford to yawn so yawn through you nose is the

best one available that I know of and it has saved me many times however when you

are face to face with someone even yawning through your nose it is kind of

obvious that something is wrong so I would suggest a nose yawn plus a hand

cover okay that way they will barely make out they might make out if they

have seen this a lot from you and you do this every time *you talk to them but

otherwise you are safe okay you can thank me later guys thank you for

watching this that's all I had to say today I'm Vihan Damaris on how to

Thursday's signing off let me know if this helped you and I will see you on serious

Sundays buh bye and always strive to be like Jesus

Jesus did you ever yawn

in the synagogue

I feel sicker than a dog and I'm trying really really hard to get

through it and I am in bed by myself and I just start to think and you know when

your brain is like really wanting to go to sleep but then the other part of your

brain is like thinking thinking thinking thinking and sometimes I start thinking

negative thoughts and I start thinking about you know is this ever gonna end

and you know I I almost wish I was making this up so I could make this stop

and you know the medications do I need to keep taking the medications should I

stop taking the medications because the medications are making me worse and then

I remember that it's a healing crisis and that I need to stay on the

medications so that I can get through this and I can be healthy for me and my

and for my family but I just cry I I cry and I just allow myself to go through

all those different emotions and it's really hard it's so hard and

what's really important to me is when my husband comes home from work and he's

here and he's listening and he doesn't really even say anything he he usually

just says that he's sorry and that he's here for me and that he'll listen and he

just lays in bed next to me and he'll either rub my back or he'll do something

and even when I'm really really sick and the kids know it they'll come in and you

know during when they're playing games and they'll give me a hug and a kiss and

they'll tell me how much they love me and that's what keeps me going

even the puppy she'll come in and say hi and wag her tail and give me you know

give me a kiss and stuff like that and that's what keeps me going they are what

keep me going and I used to be alone before I had my family and it was

horrible it was a horrible horrible experience and I didn't know that I had

Lyme disease but now it's a lot better it's a whole lot better it's still

horrible and there's a lot of times one I just want to stop taking my medicine I

insert your SIM card and SD card into the QAP smart so once again I must thank

you devoted phone who have supplied me with this device to review oh this is

their nano SIM that we're going to be using you can also use a microSD up to

256 gigabytes which will give you a great man of storage so this device

either comes in 32 or 64 gigabyte internal storage and with that - five

six on top you're gonna have a massive amount of storage widths actually great

also we do have our sim tool here so please try and use this that does come

provided with our device make sure your device is powered off as mine is here

and if you look down at the left-hand side of the device you're gonna find

that your SIM tray so it's just up here to the top we need to do is usual tool

to then get this out use your sim tool here and push straight down and your

tray should pop up like this does here so just grab your tray I'm just going to

flip around this way so you can see what tray looks like quite and coming out so

here is your trailer - wanna point out the tray is quite weak and flimsy so

our SD card so SD card will sit in here like so then with your nano SIM card so

if we just bring this up here so this is how it should look and return back to

our device make sure you line this up correctly put fingernail down on that

one so it gets in get on the SIM card just hold it down SD card okay

then using the button on the right hand side power back on so once on your lock

screen here you can see you've got the Vodafone UK you've got some signal bars

then if we go into settings tap on settings and find storage so inside here

you've got your internal storage then you've got your SD card storage here as

How To Get Turned On | What Oming Did For My Sexual Shut Down - Duration: 11:04.

- So for most of my life

being turned on and being in the mood was a huge struggle.

So much so that it felt like I just wasn't a sexual person

or I concluded that sex just wasn't important.

So when I finally started to make the shift

that I really wanted to embody

and dive into this area of my life,

I stumbled across many practices,

and one of them being Orgasmic Meditation.

So when you start diving into the world of sexuality,

especially when you're closed down, which is where I began,

everything seemed weird.

And the practice of Orgasmic Meditation is, in a nutshell,

a woman lays naked from the waist down

with her legs butterflied open,

and a man strokes her clitoris for 15 minutes,

and then they're done.

And so on the surface of this closed down girl that I was,

it seemed so crazy,

but I was committed to starting to overcome

what was holding me back.

So in this video I'm going to share with you

what I learned from this practice

that you might want to explore

or that you can take away into your own journey.

My name is Janelle Fraser

and I seduce women back into their power

by helping them to transform the relationship

that they have with themselves, their vulnerabilities,

and their sexuality,

and of course sometimes I work with men and the couples.

If you want more videos like this, in this realm, sexuality,

me sharing my experience,

please give this video a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe.

I post new videos every week.

Let's get to it.

In this video I'm not gonna share with you

the process or philosophies of Orgasmic Meditation.

I am simply gonna share with you my experience

and what I've learned.

Many different companies out there

teach various variations of this,

but specifically I worked with and read

and learned through the company OneTaste.

The first thing that this practice taught me

was about opening and surrendering.

So for someone who struggled to get turned on,

in my body I was closed down, as well as to my partner.

So this whole process and journey

of learning about Orgasmic Meditation,

physically allowing my legs to spread open and lay there

in a relaxed position for 15 minutes,

allowed my body to open and surrender.

Not just my physical body, but also to my partner.

It is a practice where the receiver,

so often times the female,

isn't actively engaged in the process

in terms of doing anything,

so it was really just about receiving

and allowing pleasure to come into your body.

That was huge for me, to just start to unthaw.

The very first demonstration that I saw, Eli,

who I believe is the co-founder or part owner of OneTaste,

to demonstrate, I actually observed ...

As I was observing I felt that unthawing

beginning to happen in my body.

It was a beautiful experience of openness of sexuality,

of safety and of expression that I had never seen before,

and it was totally transformative.

One of the things that Eli said

in the very beginning of the presentation was,

"You put your pleasure before your preferences."

And he congratulated us on that.

So we showed up to this room in LA,

that we didn't know what we were getting in for.

We were planning on actually doing it on that night.

We didn't actually get to experience it,

just with the numbers of people that were there.

He said, "You put your pleasure before your preferences."

We didn't know how the whole night was gonna go down,

but we were going there because we were committed

to a next level of pleasure for ourselves.

That was the very first time in my life

that I had ever put my pleasure as a priority.

And normally in sexual situations it's like,

I'm not turned on, I'm not in the mood,

and I have all these preferences and reasons why I'm not

and all these things that need to happen,

that were just all self-sabotaging and blocks

from me getting into my body.

That night I felt really proud.

When he acknowledged us that we put our pleasure

before our all of our preferences,

I was like, hell yeah I did!

And that was a line that has stuck with me

and the opening and thawing that happened that day

just created a ripple effect and is continuing today.

The second thing that this practice taught me about

was creating a container.

What I mean by a container is guidelines, perimeters,

boundaries if you will,

around sexuality and sensual experiences.

One thing that I felt like,

especially going through past trauma,

I felt like my body couldn't open up in sexual experiences,

because I never knew how long it was gonna be

or what the other person was gonna be doing.

I had a really hard time

speaking up for myself and saying yes or no.

So what this practice really helped me to do,

because it's a timed practice,

it's a specific set of steps that are happening,

I knew what was gonna be happening, for how long,

when it was gonna be over,

and it just gave this whole safety container for me to,

it was predictable.

It allowed me to start to get my voice back

to say faster, slower, harder, softer,

and to not have to continue if I didn't want to

because I knew the timeframe that I was committing to

and I could get clear in my mind,

and it really helped to create safety

around sexuality for me, which created further opening.

The third thing that this practice did for me

was really help to illuminate

how I wasn't trusting of my partner,

as well as to build that trust,

because not only are you physically opening

to whoever is doing this practice with you,

in this case for me it was my partner,

he was in and around my vagina and I was laying there,

surrendering, opening, and allowing this process to happen,

and I was able to trust him.

One of the things that helped to build the trust

was having that solid container

of knowing what was gonna happen, when it was gonna happen,

for how long, what wasn't gonna happen.

That container really helped me to feel safe,

to remain open, and then that trust got to form.

Because we had so many years of really bad patterns

that created a lack of trust,

and of course from abuse in those situations,

I really found that I just didn't have much trust,

and I didn't realize.

I would have never said that before I started the practice.

But it really taught me how lack of trusting I was

with my body and my partner,

and it helped to facilitate that healing.

One thing that I discovered so far in this journey

is that the less that you have sex,

the less that you are intimate,

the less that you are intimate and have sex and want that.

The less you're turned on,

the less you're going to be turned on.

This really helped me to have an option in my toolbox,

so to speak, that could be a practice

that we could implement into our life.

I admit that we could do it way more often.

We haven't done it for a while.

But we did have some consistent time when we did do it,

and it was a consistent practice that was,

that we could create consistency.

Otherwise, I never wanted to do, let's do consistent sex,

because it was so unpredictable

and all of the other reasons I mentioned above,

but this practice helped me to do something sexual, sensual,

consistently, which helped me to feel

and start to get into my body on a consistent basis,

which helped for turn on and being in the mood

on more of a consistent basis.

The time that we did this the most

was two years ago on our Costa Rica trip.

We actually committed to this for a couple week period.

Every single day we did it while we were on our trip.

We had more connection, more fun,

better sex than we had ever had,

from doing this practice on a consistent basis,

and it was actually on that trip

where I started to notice the biggest differences

because we were so consistent

with the practice for those few weeks.

It ripple effected into our relationship,

and now as I'm even shooting this video,

it's such a reminder as to why I wanna do more of it.

The fifth thing that this practice did

was increase sensitivity.

I felt like not only was I not turned on

and not in the mood, but when I did have sexual experience,

I was like numb down there.

It took so much to feel anything.

But this practice,

because it's a concentrated practice, again,

it creates open, safety, trust,

all of these amazing qualities

with your partner and yourself,

that it really helped to build sensitivity.

I noticed as I would walk around

for the day after or two days after,

I'd feel little tingles down there, just little sensations.

It was like, whoa, something's coming alive down there

and through my whole body, through my whole soul,

through my whole life, and that was a really good feeling.

So this is a bonus benefit that I observed from my partner.

Most of us never get an opportunity

to be present and in daylight without pressure to perform

or get to an outcome with our partners' genitalia.

So in this practice, one of the things that is so profound

is that it is a practice of meditation.

It is a practice of presence, in daylight,

getting to actually see and observe without an end goal,

without an objective, without him feeling like

he needed to make me orgasm,

or without me feeling like I needed to do something.

We just got to be present

and really learn and explore and connect together.

And so one of the cool things that I noticed

was his confidence level with my pussy,

with other sexual experiences that we have, even now,

just his level of confidence and knowledge,

and my level of knowledge

about where actually feels good there,

or whether you like the hot spot, so to speak.

The internal work that I had to do was so profound

and important for me to even be able to get to the point

of going to that class that day,

or bringing this into my relationship.

So if you're at this stage of curiosity

and if you'd like any more support around

how does your mind work,

and why do you think the things you do,

and how can you start to shift what's going on in your mind

in the way that you interact with other people,

go and download my Self Understanding Starter Kit.

So I'll put the link in the comments below.

It's gonna give you a guide as well as a free mind training

for you to begin to build this relationship with yourself,

so that you are more comfortable, more confident

to be able to take bigger leaps like this in your own life

and try out some crazy things.

If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up.

I would love to know in the comments below,

what was the top thing that I learned

that you feel like you,

oh, I'd really like more of that number one,

or I really feel like number two is what I needed,

put the number in the comments below.

Which one was it for you that stood out the most

and that you feel like you could benefit

and bring into your own life.

I'd love to hear, and of course, subscribe.

I post new videos every week and I want you here.

So make it a great day.
